Keefe's POV:

I adjusted the straps of my golden back-pack, preparing to enter the large doors of 'Littlerock Secondary School'.

Foster, Piper, Percy, Annabeth, Piper, and I were all waiting in front of the large entrance of the school we were about to enter.

I turned to Foster, who was walking next to me.

"How much time are we staying here again?" I asked her.

"Until the 20th of June." she answered, looking like she was tired of answering my hundreds of questions.

"And are we all in the same class?" I asked.

I had already questioned her about this, but I wanted to be completely sure.

"Yes, Keefe, for the millionth time, we will be in the same class." she answered, rolling her eyes.

I took a deep breath to ask her what we had to do to get our 'time tables', I was so excited to see what Humans had for their courses. It was probably even more boring than Elvin history. I would probably be skipping class all the time, and walking in the corridors half of the day, except if I could sit next to Foster.

Foster interrupted me in my inhaling, and grabbed me by the shoulder.

"One more question, and I am breaking your neck." she whispered quietly.

I noticeably gulped.

I knew Foster wasn't serious, but something told me I shouldn't ask a question again.

I looked around.

Most people were not as good-looking as my classmates.

"Ugh, I need to give everyone a make-over right now." Biana muttered eagerly under her breath.

I rolled my eyes.

Why was make-up everything to this girl?

I could tell Sophie was thinking the same thing, because she was looking at Biana with a side-eye.

"What?" Biana whispered.

"Why aren't we going in?" I groaned to no one in particular.

"Because it's important to assess everyone, to see their personalities, which ones are the bullies, those you don't want to mess with, those you can be friends with, or else you won't survive the school year." Percy answered for everyone.

Annabeth, Sophie and Piper nodded with squinted eyes as if they were ready to pounce at anyone who was mean.

"Ummmmm, isn't that a bit... extreme?" Biana asked before flipping her hair and adding: "School is supposed to be cool, not torture or stuff like that."

My eyes widened. I was surprised at how well Biana spoke English. She didn't have to go through the creepy things my mom did to me to be a Polyglot...

"Take Stina, and multiply her old bullying by a million. That's what some students suffer from." Sophie said, clutching the straps of her schoolbag closer to herself, as if bad memories were coming to her mind.

"Once, a girl, Nancy Bobofit bullied my friend Grover and I the whole school year." Percy said quietly.

Annabeth gave him a comforting stare.

"And Clarisse tried to flush his face down the toilets in Camp." she smiled, elbowing him in the arm.

Percy groaned.

"You don't have to remind me." He muttered.

"And you can't make them think you're too intelligent, or that's bad for you. But I guess, since your appearance is okay, you'll pass." Sophie analyzed.

I smirked.

"Is Foster calling me hot?" I asked teasingly.

Sophie pinched the bridge of my nose and grinned at me

"Isn't that the truth?" she teased.

Annabeth tapped her on the back.

"Well, let's just go, I'll tell you what I think of the people later in class." she whispered so that only we could hear.

I slung an arm around Foster's shoulders to see her cheeks burn up. I smiled. She was so cute when she blushed.

I looked around. Some people stopped to stare at us, most likely thinking we were cute together.

Foster walked over to a petite girl with long, wavy black hair and big green eyes. She seemed nice enough.

Foster smiled politely.

"Uhm, hello, I'm Sophie, we're actually new here, and we were wondering where-" Sophie paused to look at the paper we had received before exiting the large apartment we now lived in. She stared at it for a few moments, searching for something." Mr. Prevost's class is?"

(A/N: I'm bad at finding names, so I just took my Physic's teacher's name ?)

"Hey, I'm Luna, it's down the corridor, second door to the left." she said, moving her arm in the direction.

"Thank you so much, bye!" Sophie , and walked over to the door Luna had pointed.

I followed her.

"Why can't I just skip?" I whined, my feet dragging slowly behind me.

"Because we'll be in the same class, for once!" Foster turned her head at me with a grin.

I couldn't help but smile softly back.

This was going to be an amazing year.

Foster looked behind her.

"Annabeth, you coming?" she asked.

Annabeth replied with a 'Yep!', popping the 'p'. She ran up to us, taking Sophie's hand. I took my arm off Sophie's shoulder, and slowed down to talk to see Percy.

"Hey." he greeted.

I saw Sophie and Annabeth laughing in front of us.

"Hi, so are you ready for school?" I asked.

"Nope!" he snickered.

"And thinking that right now, I would be chilling in bed." I said, my mind wondering to the comfortable object I had been separated from this morning.

Percy groaned at the thought.

"Same! Why do we have to attend school?" he grumbled.

I shrugged nonchalantly.

"To save the world again?" I guessed.

"Hey guys, you ready for the first class of the school year, with our physics teacher?" Sophie asked.

She was cute when she tried to make things mysterious and interesting. But we all knew that it would be boring as 'Tartarus' as Percy would say.

There was a chorus of sarcastic 'yay's before Foster opened the door, revealing a group of students, seated at the tables, and a tall teacher, whom I assumed was Mr. Prevost.

He had large brown eyes that were covered with wide glasses that made me think of Elwin's. His white hair desperately needed styling, and his posture suggested that he had once been a lonely, nerdy kid who liked physics. He still looked better than Lady Galvin.

We all shuffled to random seats, making sure to all be next to each other.

"Hello class, I'm Mr. Prevost, and I will be your main teacher this year..." I heard the teacher say.

That was the last thing I listened to before spacing our to a pair gold-flecked brown eyes.
