Percy's POV:

Walking through the large, white halls of my new school, which i was probably going to get kicked out of anyway, I groaned in pain.

It was now lunch time, we had gone through most of our classes, and what I had observed throughout all of them was that the elves, Sophie, Biana and Keefe, were complete nerds. I was pretty sure they could re-invent Albert Einstein's work if they wanted to.

Biana had completely destroyed the Physics. teacher while writing down the answer on the board, when he had sent her, thinking she would be humiliated on her first day. Wrong. Guess. Mr. Prevost got Ooh'ed by every single student in the class.

In the next class, Keefe had had a whole conversation about how poop could be sparkly with the science teacher.

Everyone had laughed, but Keefe didn't seem to find it funny, and listened to the teacher thoroughly. He had explained to me later it was because 'Alicorns' made sparkly poop. I had shrugged; alot of things were weird in the Lost Cities, this wasn't the first.

The hour after, Keefe had once again gotten into trouble, and had had a huge debate with the History teacher, to see who was right about the exact date of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus.

Keefe had claimed he had a photographic memory, and seemed very mad the teacher didn't believe him, saying it was ten years before. They had finally settled, after half an hour, to look on Google to see Keefe was right: thanks to him, I had learned it was in 1492, and not in 1482.

Thank you Keefe!

At least we had ditched a few minutes of boring-ness.

Apparently, the Elves had read the History book before coming here. And if you guessed I had done exactly the opposite, you are right!

I thought the Elves would be able to contain their Smarty-Pants-ness and let the teacher say what they wanted to say, but apparently I was wrong. We had spent the whole morning listening to them arguing with the teacher, with Sophie scolding them afterwards.

"How is it so easy with you guys?" I groaned, looking desperately toward the elves, hesitating to sob on my knees while holding their feet in an silent prayer.

"Well, elves have more developed minds than humans do." Biana answered matter-of-factly.

My shoulder slumped in exasperation.

"So, I'm guessing I'm going to have to live with the fact you're all big nerds," I complained. "Next to that, I've been expelled so many times you can't even count, and have the worst grades her. Is that right?

Biana smiled, just as we entered the Cafeteria.

"Well, you better get to work more then!" she exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes playfully at her.

"Me? Working? Sorry, doesn't make sense." I told her, reaching for the tray at the self-service.

"Are you sure about that? I may have to ask Grady to mesmerize you into doing your homework, or I could always threaten to inflict on your poor innocent soul." Sophie smiled, holding up the knife she had just taken from the tray, her eyes glinting.

I shrugged nonchalantly.

"Nah, I'm good, but thanks!" I said, in a restrained voice.

"Or maybe I could use the creepy power my mom gave me so that I can force you to do it." Keefe said in a dark voice.

I looked over at him to see his normally glinting ice blue eyes had turned a melancholic shade.

His smirk wasn't present on his face, which looked kind of weird.

I clapped him on the back.

"I'll pass, but thanks." I told him.

"Wait, you're vegetarian?" I asked, digging my knife into my meat.

"Yeah, where we live, everyone is." Sophie replied, before taking a piece of her salad.

I looked up to the ceiling in a dramatic way.

"I can't imagine living without hamburgers." I said, my eyes widening at that horrible thought.

Sophie raised an eyebrow at me.

"There's this food that tastes exactly like a mix of cheeseburger and Lasagna." she whispered.

I gasped dramatically.

"Tell me more," I exclaimed, leaning forward.

Annabeth laughed.

"I'm sure you could make it yourself, we could even have it blue I guess." she commented.

I pumped my fist into the air.

"That would be the best!" I said heroically.

Everyone at the table cracked a laugh.

I grinned at all of them.

I think this was going to be a really great year.

Elodie's POV:

Seated at a table in the Cafeteria, munching on my meal, I gapped at one of my best friends, almost choking on my food.

"Wait, so Annabeth Chase and Sophie Foster are at this school, in your class?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

I was now with my friends, talking about the new kids attending our school.

"Yeah, why?" Sarah asked, fingering her brown hair away from her face.

I shook my head.

"Don't worry about it. So what are they like?" I asked.

Sarah giggled.

"They're awesome, they literally talk back to the teacher. Even I wouldn't be able to do that. They're also super smart, this hot guy corrected the teacher." she sighed dreamily.

I rolled my eyes. Typical Sarah, falling for a guy just after she broke up with her boyfriend a week before.

"Oh, and how did they look like?" I asked, curious to see if we were talking about the same people.

Sarah smiled, in her own thoughts.

"The guy had cute messy blond hair, ice blue eyes and a-" she started, but I cut her off.

I really didn't have to listen to Sarah's feelings.

"Bestie, I'm not talking about the guy you like, I'm talking about those girls, Annabeth and Sophie in your class." I said firmly.

Sarah seemed taken aback by my outburst.

"Um, they were cool too I guess, they were mostly scolding their friends for arguing with the teachers. I think they both had... blond hair, and one of them had gray eyes, the other's were brown, I guess. Why?" she described.

I furrowed my eyebrows.

So it was them.

I stood from my seat, pulling it back from the table of my five friends.

"I'll be right back, see you!" I told them, already walking away.

"What's up with her?" I heard Naomi's voice ask from behind me.

I sighed. Though I loved my friends, they could be a little bit of a handful sometimes. But thanks to them, I was the most demanded and popular girl of the school.

I shook my head.

I couldn't afford to be distracted. I had to find Annabeth and Sophie, they were the ones I had bullied up until they both moved away, leaving me with the guilt for picking on them, making fun of them just because they were prettier and smarter than me.

Now they were here, I hoped I would be smart enough to say this big speech saying I was sorry, and that they would forgive me. If we became friends, it would be a giant bonus.

"Hey Elodie, how ya doing?" Josh Garcia asked from a nearby table.

I rolled my green eyes at him, with my brown hair flowing behind me.

"I was good until I saw you, now if you'll excuse me, I need to meet with my old friends." I replied, with extra spice to my voice.

Josh was the guy who had a crush on me.

"No need to be sassy, go ahead." he told me, waving his hand toward the direction I was walking in. "I found a new girl by the way, I'm really into blondes now."

I sighed, ignoring him. I really couldn't care less. I walked away, looking for two blonde heads.

Annabeth's POV:

I turned my head around, feeling someone tap me on the shoulder. Next to me, Sophie seemed to do the same.

The girl behind me was a pretty brunette, her eyes were a light green. Her skin was a deep tan. She looked nice, but not as much as Sophie or Biana. She was wearing a pink crop-top, black shorts and she was looking right at me.

She looked slightly familiar, but I couldn't tell where I had already seen her.

"Excuse me, are you Annabeth Chase?" she asked me before turning to my childhood friend. "And are you Sophie Foster?"

Sophie seemed confused, but nodded slightly.

"Yeah, why?" she asked.

"Uhm, I don't really know how to say this, but I'm Elodie Moyes, do you maybe remember me?" she asked in a shy way.

I cocked my head sideways, not sure what she was talking about.

"You knew me before you both moved away." she said, probably trying to keep her voice at a minimum volume, hoping we wouldn't hear her.

I searched through my thoughts.

When had I ever known an Elodie Moyes?

"You?" Sophie shouted as she stood up, pushing her tray to the floor with a loud CRASH!, making everyone in the cafeteria turn to our table.

I jumped up, Sophie wasn't the kind to shout often, but when she did, everyone was traumatized, scared or listening.

Sophie walked over to Elodie's shivering figure.

"So what do you want to say? I don't want to listen to your stupid nauseous voice, thank you very much, so if you're just going to stand there speechless, might as well turn around and leave. That would be productive for everyone." she was so close to Elodie's face, their noses were almost touching. Everyone was dead silent.

I smiled.

Sophie was a million times more confident than when I ran away. I didn't care if I didn't know this girl, or remember her as I should apparently, but if Sophie didn't like her, I didn't.

"Woah, woah, what's going on Foster? Who's this girl?" Keefe said, suddenly standing up and talking Sophie's hand.

He must have been sending her those 'cool breezes' as Sophie called them, because she seemed to relax a little bit.

"Well, this girl bullied Annabeth and I the whole time we were in San Diego." Sophie said, crossing her arms in a more challenging than confident way.

I stood there for a few seconds, my brain processing the information.

"Wait, so you're saying you're-the Elodie?" I asked the girl, the one who had been horrible to us all those years.

"Yeah, but I'm so sorry for what I've done. I promise I'll-" she started, tears filling her green eyes.

"Um, excuse me, I don't think you're really welcome here. So... bye." Percy said, standing up and gesturing to the opposite direction Elodie was facing.

She opened her mouth to protest, but she closed it after a few moments, and decided to turn around with her head down before making her way toward her table.

I smirked. I guess the quote 'Revenge is a meal best eaten cold' was actually real.

Sophie's POV:

I was sitting on the couch of the apartment at the end of my first Secondary School day while munching on Popcorn as we watched 'Miraculous' on the TV.

"Don't you think we were a little hard on her?" I asked for the thousandth time, turning to Annabeth next to me.

Annabeth rolled her eyes.

"Soph', for the thousandth time, she deserved it." she reassured me. She clapped me on the back before adding. "And you were a total slay there!"

I smirked at the thought.

"I try." I grinned, with my hands held together in a criss-cross patern in conspiracy.

"I'm glad we're not in her class. Do you remember the horrible things she did to us?" Annabeth asked me, shivering at the thought.

I nodded absent-mindedly.

"Hey Foster, this kind of looks like our story!" Keefe exclaimed, pointing at the screen.

I looked at the television: 'Miraculous' was playing.

"Why?" I asked Keefe, leaning forward to look at him.

"Well, the Marinette girl is oblivious, blushes a lot, is clumsy and cute. Though not as much as you." Keefe explained, his hands waving in every direction. "And then there's that gorgeous guy Adrien, with beautiful blond messy hair and unforgettable eyes: me! Completely!"

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Though not as modest as you of course." I told him.

"Exactly, I'm even more perfect than him!" Keefe said, lying back down on the sofa.

I mentally slapped my forehead and turned back to the movie, still thinking about Elodie.

Maybe I went a little too hard on her?

I hoped I wasn't. But I was still happy I wasn't in her class, being in the same school as her was already stressful enough.

I munched on my popcorn.

I wouldn't let her off so easily if ever she came close to me.
