Previously...

I had to go to sleep if I wanted to confront them on Monday to ask what that was about. Even though it meant being yelled at, I had to know the truth.

Elodie's POV:

I walked to school, with my mind so determined, I could have even gone through Math without sleeping.

Though when I went in that subject, I still did it, because it was boring, but that's a detail.

I walked over to the familiar group where Sophie and Annabeth stood, with their ridiculous clothes. I even saw one with a Bat-Man shirt.

(A/N: Oh, you did NOT just insult my little innocent Keefe's shirt! XD Nah, Elodie is actually just a little angry from being rejected right now, making her a little angry, don't worry!)

"Hey Elodie, how are-?" I walked right past my friend, Sarah, not even bothering to answer her greeting.

I just continued making my way to the group a few feet away from me.

Once I arrived there, I planted myself right in front of them, and put my back in a leader's position, with my hand on my hip while I stared all of them up and down.

"I know all the truth, I also have proof. If you don't want me to diffuse the video I took f you all," I told them, pointing my finger to every single one of them. "Explain what 'Inflicting' is, what that was, and the whole truth."

I spoke in a stern voice, making one of the girl's flinch.

Sophie turned to me, her face twisted in disgust. She tilted her head, but not in that confused way, more like in that 'I'm the boss here, so calm yourself down' way.

"Look, Elodie, I don't know what your problem is, but I have experience with brats like you, and FYI, you were one of them, so you shouldn't come in my way if you don't want to get seriously hurt." she warned, looking like she was about to launch at me and punch me in the ribs.

Or worse, 'Inflict' on me, as they liked to call it.

The cute blonde-haired guy next to her even had to restrain her by grabbing her arm.

"What she means is that she doesn't know what you're talking about, and that we would like to know which video you're talking about." he told me, as Sophie's eyes softened at the sight of him.

If I hadn't been angry at them, I would have squealed at the cuteness of the couple: they were obviously meant for each other, and they seemed comfortable with one another. But at that moment, I was angry, so I didn't exactly do that.

"I've got it on my phone, want me to show it to you?" I asked, going through my pockets... to find nothing but a few crumbled notes.

Sophie smirked at me.

"You mean this sparkly pink phone? It's a little too 'pink' if you know what I mean?" she asked, pulling out my phone from her own pocket.

My eyes widened at her.

"How did you-" I asked, too shocked to move or speak.

Sophie was now really dangerous, and I wondered if it had something to do with the weird adventures happening to her like, 'her heart stopping to reset her Abilities', whatever that was.

"Wait, your code is actually 1234?" Sophie laughed, unlocking my phone.

My eyes widened even more, making them look like plates.

"How did you-" I asked for the second time.

Sophie didn't answer as she swiped her finger across my phone for a few moments before giving it back to me. I took it back in my hands, clutching it onto my chest. I'll admit, part of me thought Sophie was going to throw it on the floor, just like the time I had ripped up her book. But apparently, Sophie wasn't a bully.

"There, I deleted it from your Gallery, and from the Trash Can. Mess with us one more time, and I'll do much worse than just taking your phone for a few seconds." she said before walking away with her blonde hair flowing in the wind behind her.

I grabbed her arm before she could leave, forcing her to stay in front of me.

"Sophie, we both know I'm right. I just want to understand the situation, or I'm going to go mad. I'm sorry I was threatening, but I thought there was no other way to make you tell me." I pleaded, not caring if she thought I was weird.

All her friend group was looking at Sophie expectingly, except Annabeth who decided to speak. I hadn't really paid attention go her, she hadn't been victim of my bullying as much as Sophie, and she seemed a little bit less resentful when it came to me.

"Meet us in front of the school gates after school, we'll take you somewhere." she explained before turning away.

Annabeth's POV:

Once we were out of Elodie's sight, Sophie and the group looked at me weirdly.

"What did you do that for?" Sophie whispered.

"I just find it weird that she can see through the Mist." I hissed back. "She might be a Demi-God."

"Or maybe she just sees through the Mist like Rachel." Percy said, shrugging.

"Or she could be a monster." Keefe suggested, accompanied with the same gesture as Percy.

Everyone stared at him weirdly, as if he had broken the already fragile mood. Keefe smirked, looking like he enjoyed the attention.

"I don't want anything to do with her. You do all the talking, but I don't want to speak with her." Sophie mumbled.

"Anyway, we can just put things clearly when we meet her this after-noon. For now, let's just not think about it." Biana reassured everyone, spreading her hands toward all of them.

We all nodded, just as the bell rang.

"Well, we better go to Physics class." Piper reminded everyone, really breaking the fragile mood this time.

Sophie groaned, putting her head in her hands.

(A/N: I almost wrote "her hands in her head" XD Sorry, jut being weird here, I'll stop...)

"Josh is going to be behind me, I feel like he's always staring at me, it's horrible." she complained.

Percy seemed to think for a moment.

"We could switch seats, so that you're next to Hunkyhair here, and you can keep holding hands, and do a Smooch Fest or something like that." he explained carefully, with a wide grin on his face.

I elbowed him in the ribs, making him double over in pain and say a few 'Ow's and also a little bit of 'What was that for?'.

"Yeah, you could. Though I think that would make him a little bit too jealous." I told Sophie, with a sincere smile.

She groaned.

"I think I'll deal with it. Anyway, off to class: Exciting!" she waved her hands in fake excitement, making everyone laugh.

"That's my saying, good job!" Percy told her, extending his hand for her to high-five it.

She left him hanging, which made him wail like a pure drama queen.

Elodie's POV:

I watched them suspiciously as they all walked away to class, planning on having a very long talk with them after school.

"Hey Elodie, why didn't you answer me earlier?" Sarah asked me as I walked to my Arts class, though I was accompanying her to her Physics subject.

I smiled down at her.

"I just wanted to ask Annabeth what we should do for the Science project!" I explained matter-of-factly.

Sarah furrowed her thick eyebrows, making her even uglier than what she already was.

"But you're not even in the same class as her..." she trailed off.

I rolled my eyes at her. She was dumb, she wouldn't have one suspicion.

"Anyway, I'll see you at lunch Sarah! Bye!" I waved at her before leaving to the Arts classroom.

Sarah could be very naive sometimes, and it was a little bit infuriating. Though nothing could change my mood right now, at the and of the day, I would learn what that group was hiding, and it made me smile all the way.
