A Little Hazbin 3: Rise of the Nephilim Epilogue

A Year Later

Adam walks wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase. "Phew!" he sits in his chair and reclines back. "I thought a job where you just sit at a desk looking at a screen would be easy. I'm exhausted."

Lute enters the room in an apron with a can of beer and passes it to the first man. "Just don't quit like the last three, Sir. I'll be back from leave soon and you won't have to work as many hours as you have been," she goes to walk away but is quickly pulled into Adams lap.

"We're married and you still refer to me as your superior officer?" he smiles. "After everything we've been through, everything we've done with each other… to each other," Adam gets a laugh at seeing the usually reserved woman blushing. "We are family, Lute. Nothing less than that. Speaking of," he lifts her up, sets her down on her feet, and walks down the hall. "How's mini me?"

"AJ is currently taking a nap," she follows him into the nursery and leans over the crib to watch the slumbering baby.

"Hey, If you want to stay and care for him. I won't mind."

Lute blinked before smiling. "It's not that I wouldn't like to stay and care for our son. Our financial situation is not in an acceptable state. And no offense, Adam, you're not as… agile as you used to be. It would be best if we both work. I've already found a suitable daycare that is well within our current budget. As soon as we are stable we can move AJ to someplace better."

Adam walks up to the woman. "Always taking care of things for me. As always," he leans in and the two kiss.

.oOo.

Celest is in her room and is currently using an orb to check up on Adam and Lute. She feels somewhat responsible for the two since it was her idea to send them to Earth as humans. So, the Morningstar checks up on them every once in a while. Though, there were times she wished she hadn't.

Ding!

"Oh?" Celest dismisses the orb before picking up her phone and reads the message.

Mama: It's here!

"Yes!" the Not-so-Little Hazbin jumps up from her desk and runs to her Mama's office.

The doors are slammed open as she rushes up to the desk where Vaggie is sitting, hiding the lower half. "Where is it!?"

"Calm down, Honey," Vaggie chuckles at her daughter's excitement and hands over an envelope. "Here," and it's quickly snatched from the eyepatch woman's grip. She watches as her daughter just stares at it. "Aren't you going to open it?"

"I'm kinda scared."

The former Exorcists smiles. "It's okay to be scared. Especially with—Oof!" she brings a hand down to underneath the desk.

"Everything alright, Mama?" Celest walks around to see Vaggie rubbing her extended belly.

"Yeah. The girls are just playing rough in there."

That catches the Not-so-Little Hazbin's attention. "Girls? As in plural? Wait! I thought you and Mom were wanting to wait to find out."

At that, Vaggie sighs. "We were but after the struggles we went through when you entered our lives unexpectedly I just wanted a head start. Don't tell your mother. You know how she likes to be surprised." The two then jumped slightly at a voice.

"Surprised by what?" Charlie walks in and glances at her wife and daughter.

The two give a warily glance before Celest looks at what was still in her hand and lifts the envelope.

The Princess of Hell gasps. "Is that what I think it is!?" she runs around the desk. "Come on! Open it, open it!" It's a wonder where their daughter gets her enthusiasm.

Celest takes a deep breath, opens the envelope, takes out a letter, and reads. "I got in!"

The three cheered.

Vaggie cheers. "Congratulations, Honey!" while her wife eagerly hugs their daughter.

"This is great, Sweetie," the Hotel Owner pulls away. "My baby girl is going to the best arts school in the Realm. I'm going to miss having your little feet running around."

"Oh, Mom. It's not like you won't have any more running around," the Not-so-Little Hazbin places a hand on her Mama's belly.

"Yeah. All thanks to a little potion from Uncle Ozzy."

Vaggie then chimes in. "And a whole lot of lovin."

Celest's face then contorts. "Ew! I really did not need to hear that," she then looks at the letter in thought.

"Sweetie?" Charlie walks up to her daughter. "I thought you would be happier. If you don't want to go to school there are other options. You can even help run the Hotel if you want."

"I am happy," the grown child sighs. "I'm just kinda bummed that I missed out on a lot. I left Mayberry's early, skipped Middle School, and instead of High School I crammed everything I needed for an Equivalency Exam," she then looks at her Mom. "I would have liked to have gone to prom based on the stories you've told me, Mom."

"Oh, Sweetie," Charlie walks up to plant a kiss on her daughter's cheek. "I'm sure everything will work out. Now tell Emily I said hi."

"Right!" Celest starts running but stops once she reaches the door. "Hold on!" and turns to her parents. "How'd you know I was going to see Emily?"

"Uh…"

"You told us," Vaggie wears a smug grin. "Just now."

At that, their daughter blushes a bit before leaving the room.

After a few moments when they were sure she was gone, Vaggie lightly smacks her wife on the arm and scolds. "Way to go, Charlie! You almost ruined it!"

"Sorry," the Princess of Hell assists her wife up.

"Now, let's hurry and get ready. Dad will be here soon."

.oOo.

As Celest was about to reach the embassy, she took out a pocket mirror to double check her appearance.

"Celest!" Emily in a trench coat calls out from the front steps and quickly runs up to greet her.

"Hi, Emily," they hug. "I got some news," Celest shows the letter. "I'm in!" the two shriek.

"I'm so happy for you, Celest," the seraphim then sighs. "The only downside is that we will be seeing each other even less."

"I know," the Not-so-Little Hazbin sits on the steps. "You've been so busy since your mom appointed you Heaven's Ambassador."

"Yeah," the seraphim sat next to her. "But, hey! You won't have classes on weekends, and I get a handful of days off a month. I'm sure I can work those days around so that we can go out."

Celest blinks before smiling, "It's a date," she then blushes noticing Emily smiling brighter. "I mean… it's.. uh… oh," her hand is then taken.

"I know what you mean, Celest," the ambassador then stands, pulling Celest along with her. "Now…" the walk up to the steps. "I have something very important to ask you," they stop at the doors. "Celest. Will you go to prom with me?"

That question made the Not-so-Little Hazbin tilt her head.

The doors are suddenly thrust open, and she turns to gasp.

The interior of the building is decorated with streamers, ballons, and even a banner that says Prom. It's much like what Celest had seen in many movies. And from what she can see, everyone she knows is there wearing dresses and suits. From her family to her friends. Even the Carmines with a small imp boy wearing leg braces.

Turning to her side, Celest finds Emily taking off her coat to reveal a sparking grey dress. "I hope you like it."

Celest smiles. "I do like it. You look like an angel, Emily," she then glances at her current attire being black slacks, a red jacket over a white top, and simple tennis shoes. "I now feel embarrassed that I showed up like this," she then spins around and is then wearing a red poofy dress with black frills. "How do I look?"

"Beautiful," they then hook their arms and walk in as everyone cheers.

The Not-so-Little Hazbin walks up to her parents and accuses, "You two knew about this, didn't you?"

"Guilty!" Charlie raises her hand.

Vaggie nods. "Your mom felt bad about telling you stories from her prom night. So, we all gathered here for one big surprise."

"Thanks, guys!" Celest hugs them but pulls away. "But should you really be out here, Mama?"

"I'm fine, Honey," the former Exorcist pats her stomach. "I still have awhile and it's not like I plan on being on the dance floor."

"If you say so," she then rubs her Mama's belly. "I can't wait to meet my sisters," she misses the fact that Vaggie froze at that before walking off.

"Sisters?" Charlie glares at her wife. "Vaggie!"

.oOo.

Celest and Emily run up to where plenty of couples were getting their pictures taken and right after Husk and Angel Dust, they walk up to get a couple themselves. The two were then pushed away to make room for Alastor and Rosie, both of whom had been regaining their hellish colors.

.oOo.

"Is that my granddaughter?" Lucifer shouts as he and his wife walk up to Celest. "Wow! You look wonderful, Celest."

"Grandma, Grandpa," the Not-so-Little Hazbin hugs them. "You're here!" she looks around. "What about Damien? Did you not bring him?"

Lilith nods. "We did," she turns behind them. "We just found someone willing to watch him for a moment so that your grandfather and I could have some fun," not far is Sera playing with the new Prince of Hell.

The King of Hell turns to the young seraphim. "Your mom is pretty good with kids."

"Yeah," Emily smiles at the sight of her mother. "She did raise me after all."

Lucifer then turns to his granddaughter. "Your moms mentioned that you've been looking for someone."

"Yeah," Celest sighs. "But I have no luck. I promised to give them a message."

"You don't have to worry anymore!" the Big Boss places an arm over her shoulders. "As the Big Boss of Hell, I'm sure I'll have an easier time finding this person. Just give me their name," he smiles brightly. It is soon dropped as soon as the name was given.

"Samael."

Lucifer moves away and stares wide-eyed at the Not-so-Little Hazbin. "Out, out of curiosity. What is the message?"

Celest looks up to recall everything. "Um… I believe it was something like this. Where I do not believe I was in the wrong for being angry at you, I am sorry for making you suffer for so long. Where I was harsh when delivering your punishment, not once has that ever meant that I stopped loving you. I know that neither of us are ready, but I hope one day we can face each other. I am proud of you, son, and what you made for yourself here." She then looks at her grandfather and notices a slight tear in his eye. "Are you okay, Grandpa?"

"Yeah," he wipes away the tear. "I'm good. I know this guy you're looking for. I'll make sure he hears the message."

"Thanks, Grandpa!" she hugs him before she and Emily walk off.

Lilith gives her husband a small smile. "Samael. Been a long time since I've heard that name."

"Yeah," Lucifer nods while wearing a small smile of his own. "Thanks, Dad," he then looks up and is surprised by a figure over by the punch bowl. The figure raises a cup to the King of Hell and when someone passes between them, he vanishes.

.oOo.

Angel Dust runs up to the stage with a microphone. "Now to announce this evening's Prom King and Queen!" he waves an envelope before opening it. "It seems we have two Queens. Celest! Emily! Come up here!"

A spotlight shines on the two causing Celest to hop in place with a giggle.

Emily is a bit wide eyed. "Me?" she is then dragged up to the stage by Celest. "I-I didn't know about this part!"

That was heard by Angel Dust who smirks. "Yeah. It was Cherri's idea."

The young seraphim shook her head. "Of course it was." Then looks over to see the one-eyed Sinner giving the angel a thumbs up.

The two are then crowned as the former movie star then announces. "And now it's time for the Prom Queens Dance!"

The two are then led to the center of the room and they started to dance to the slow music.

"Thanks, Emily," Celest smiles at the angel. "For being my prom date."

Soon others started pairing up for the dance as well.

"I was kind of nervous about it?" Emily confesses. "I never been to one of these myself. It's nice that I'm able to share this first with you."

Over to the side, Tooth pulls Kayla close to him. Then, at the sight of Niffty, who lost her halo, but her colors are a mix of the bright heavenly and dark hellish, giving him a crazed look while holding a knife, the imp pushed the Sinner back a little confusing her.

"Yeah, um…" Celest looks away with a growing blush. "Mind if I have another first with you?"

The angel smiles. "Sure," and to her surprise, the taller girl leans forward, and they kiss.

Everyone soon stopped dancing to watch the moment.

Sera smiles seeing her daughter happy.

Lucifer and Lilith, who is now carrying her son, walks up to the High Seraphim.

The Big Boss turns to Sera with a large grin says. "You do realize that there's a chance that we'd be in-laws in the future?"

At that, the Leader of the Seraphim slouches. "Please don't ruin the moment, Lucifer."

End

NOTE: Now this is officially the end of Celest's Arc. However! I have one last story that takes place in this AU. Stay tuned for the upcoming story, A Broken Reunion: Broken and Lonely 2.

NOTE 2: I'm considering taking a quick break from this AU and go over some of my other unfinished stories along with a few new short stories that are only a few chapters long. But it won't be for more than a week or two as I do have a few Chapters of A Broken Reunion written. They just need some proof reading.
