Soul Chamber

The Lin Kuei cyborgs mercilessly dealt with Outworld's patrol. 5-2-0 crashes 1 frozen body to the ground, while 7-T-2 charges smoke into another, burning its skin.

- 5-2-0: A pity you could not have cooperated.

- 7-T-2: Let us proceed, 5-2-0. Any fights outside of our target, are not welcome.

As cyborgs warped away from the area, Jax arrives, while looking at his radar - "The readings were getting stronger, and now they're gone."

An enormous green energy emitted from giant serpent's mouth - "You have disturbed our regeneration process." - Jax recognises a new arrival - "Ermac." - Special Forces soldier grabs the mummy by neck - "Gotcha!" - Ermac intercepts his attempt of slugfest and pushes him away - "We will break you."

Unknown to Jax, Ermac was merely toying with his opponent going hand to hand kombat. Earthrealmer may have scored a noticeable amount of solid hits, Shao Kahn's creation endured the onslaught and wore his opponent down.

Ermac lifts Jax into the air with telekinesis. First he rips Earthrealmer's arms and legs from his torso; Then shifts the corpse in upsidedown angle; And slams it to the ground, crushing the head. - "We are unbreakable." - Ermac floats away.

Koliseum

Raiden observed Kobra and Mokap winning their tag match against Outworld soldiers. Then Kenshi scores antoher victory for Earthrealm.

When Ermac joins the audience on Shao Kahn's sight, latter announced - "Who among you is worthy of challenging Ermac?"

Kobra bravely walks - "I accept the challenge!" - Raiden and Mokap tried to stop him, but Outworlders blocked their path.

Kobra approaches his opponent with confidence - "One mummy back to dead... in a tick." - Karateka attacks with burning fist.

Ermac intercepts him with telekinesis and transports him to another side of Koliseum. Kobra gets up seeing Ermac pulling forward his arm, palms facing up, and bending his fingers (from index to pinky).

Now enraged, Korba launches a windmill kick in attempt to knock Ermac's head off. Shao Kahn's creation blocks and leg sweeps his opponent.

Korba evades Ermac's jumping stomp and fires a chi blast at his opponent. Ermac, however, intercepted the blast with his own green wave and returns it back to Kobra.

When Kobra's body got caught, Ermac lifts him up; shifts his opponent's body to inverted vertical angle; slams his head to ground, damaging his neck.

Ermac floats above Kobra and slams his elbow on to back, damaging the spine.

Seeing no point prolonging Shao Kahn commands - "Finish him!" - Ermac catches Kobra's whole body in his own energy. The mummy's magic shrinks his opponent's body.

By the time Kobra came back to his senses, he saw Ermac lifting his leg up and planting it on to his latest victim, squishing him like an insect.

Ermac wipes the blood from his sole and crosses his arms as victory pose.

Mokap looked at the image with disgust - "I may have never liked Kobra, but such end wouldn't be wished upon even the worst enemy." - Shao Kahn announces - "The next match will be Ermac vs Charles Golden."

Mokap closed his note where he scribbled all of the information he gathered and steps to the arena. Ermac emits his powers - "You are next."

Mokap tries Jeet Kune Do tactics mixed with Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Karate and Wing Chun. Thanks to Shaolin teachings, his caution and unconventional fighting combination, the Earthrealmer makes Ermac struggle.

Ermac regains the upper hand by pushing Mokap away with Telekinesis, giving himself enough time to power up.

Powered up Ermac adjusted to Mokap's unpredictable fighting style and was constantly overpowering him.

Outworld warrior captures Earthrealmer to his powers and slams him to the ground multiple times, until Mokap ceased to breathe.

Cyrax enters the Koloseum.

- Cyrax: Raiden, what's the situation?

- Raiden: You're just in time. Kobra and Charles Golden had been dedeated, and I no longer sense Jackson Briggs's presence in Outworld. Where are the others?

- Cyrax: Liu Kang and Taven are at Evil Monastery, keeping Outworld's interference at bay. They've sent me here to win the tournament or buy some time, until they arrive.

The emperor sees new addition to Earthrealm and announced - "The next match will be Ermac vs Cyrax."

Ex-Lin Kuei, now Shaolin monk steps up - "I'll kill you if I have to."

Having fought 2 matches in a row (3, counting Jax), Ermac has only slightly more power than he had at Earthrealm's tournament.

(While gamplay-wise Ermac is supposed to be a winner) Outworld warrior went all out to keeps himself in a fight and while he batters Cyrax, he is also getting a beating of his 2nd life.

Cyrax developed his chi attack looking like net, capable to immobilise its prey for the time being. Ermac had a mixed success evading it.

When both kombatants were kneeling in exhaustion, 5 cyborgs surround Cyrax, trapping him.

L-Ks 5-2-0 and 7-2-0 appear in front of irritated emperor - "Who interrupts my tournament?" - both cyborgs bow.

- 5-2-0: We request that we may return him for judgement

- Shao Kahn: And what do I get for granting this bold request?

- 7-T-2: The Lin Kuei's loyalty and service.

While trapped Cyrax could still hear familiar voices despite their Cyber Initiative. Plus they wore familiar shades of blue and grey - "Thundra?... Smoke?..."

A/N: There you have it: Chapter 8. Would playable villains be less hated, than certain example?

Jax wouldn't have much of a story, with Sonya being dead. It's very unfortunate there was no one to help him.

Now I can finally refer cyborgs to their well known names, since MK kast (Cyrax) are now aware of their identities.
