The dull roar of a cheering crowd drowned out nearly everything else around them. Despite the overwhelming sound, many classmates were still chatting amongst themselves; some gushing about finally making it here, others boasting about their agency placements, while many reminisced about their high school memories. Bakugo was not one of these people however, he spent his time leaning against the wall and staring off into space with the same scowl he usually sported. All of the graduates were lined up in an entrance tunnel to the same stadium where they made their sports festival debut only a couple years ago. Like a river in their UA blue caps and gowns only mildly broken up by various colored cords for various majors and academic achievements. All of the hero students received special stolls with the color of their hero suits, making Bakugo's all black with a green outline and orange accents. He had also received a golden cord for outstanding academics, his old lady wouldn't stop bragging about it to everyone they came across much to his dismay. Internally he groaned already thinking about the assault of photos that she was going to subject him to as soon as this shit was over.

A familiar laugh caught his attention and he side glanced to where he knew it would be coming from. Uraraka was at the end of the line with the ponytail girl, laughing about whatever the two had to chat about. Bakugo let out a hiss and whipped his head in the opposite direction. His thoughts raced though, was she talking about their spar this morning? Was she telling people that he confessed to liking her? Is that what they were laughing at?! He could feel his jaw creak as he gritted his teeth at that last thought and small sparks lit in his palms from inside his pockets. If this bullshit didn't start soon he was going to blow this whole place to bits just to get the hell away from it.

Almost as a saving grace, music began to play and a few younger students that volunteered for today started escorting the lines of graduates out into the arena. As they marched out of the tunnel the bright afternoon light stung Bakugo's eyes, the dull roar of the audience before became a deafening blast of cheers and shouts. Those with more flashy quirks were letting off small shots like blasts of confetti that was, coincidentally, also showering over them. He almost couldn't hear the principle talking into the microphone over the crowd's antics. They finally reached their chairs and sat down as the staff attempted to quiet the crowd.

Most of it passed in a blur for Bakugo, a lot of teachers gave short speeches and there was a dedication to those who had passed during their time at UA, too many people were on there that should have been saved. People that he could have saved. His fingers tightened around his arms, his resolve needed to be steel and he needed this to be a reminder to always be the greatest and save those that others couldn't. The ambition to be the number 1 hero still hadn't wavered in his mind, he was determined to show all these extras what a real hero looked like. Deku was also asked to give a speech which Bakugo only half paid attention to, he was just looking forward to the end of this stupid parade.

Finally it was time to walk across the stage. Bakugo shuffled along as fast as he could, barely stopping to shake the rat man's hand as he took his diploma from him. He couldn't help but be stopped though when faced with his home room teacher. He didn't much care for Mr. Aizawa when he first started here but damn had that man put respect on his name over the last few years. His hand silently moved up reaching out to Bakugo for a handshake, to which he firmly grasped as both their cold gazes refused to break from one another. Aizawa pulled him in with a quick arm around his shoulders for a brief hug as he whispered "I'm proud of you Dynamight, it has been an honor to teach you." Bakugo's eyes widened in surprise at the unusually affectionate moment. Just ask quickly has it had happened it ended and he was moved along the stage. It was to be expected that he would say that crap to some of the other extras in class but he was shocked to hear it towards himself.

His thoughts were interrupted by the next figure he approached. The man that inspired him to be a hero in the first place. There was almost an ember of the old All Might glowing in his face, nearly literal beams of pride coming off of him exuding pride. "Ah young Bakugo" he said, radiating a warmth that made even lord hot head himself melt just a little. Bakugo reached out his hand and offered a small smile to the idol. All Might swiftly took his hand and tugged the young boy into his chest before throwing his arm around him and rubbing his knuckles into the top of the blond boy's head. "I always new you were made for greatness, you have come so far and I know you'll keep making us proud." He mused as Bakugo pushed himself back up and caught his cap before it fell off from being disturbed by the hero. "Just try not to cause too much trouble alright?" All Might asked while giving the boy a thumbs up.

Bakugo glared with a slight flush of embarrassment on his cheeks before responding, "tsk, yeah alright." All Might's grin spread even wider and he clapped Bakugo on the back as he walked by and back to his seat.

He reached his chair and turned to the stage just in time to see a certain bubbly brunette be called across the stage. Her eyes sparkled, she seemed to almost float with every step across the stage, he half wondered if she had accidentally activated her quirk in the nervousness she was most likely feeling. Watching as she moved across the stage and received her congratulations, he noticed her cheeks growing increasingly pink the more she was acknowledged. A small chuckle escaped him as he thought to himself that her cheeks hadn't been that pink since he had her pushed up against a wall silently begging for him to-

Bakugo internally slapped himself across the face. She obviously didn't think of him that way, it was just stupid hormones, and he didn't need to get riled up in the middle of a stadium being watched by thousands of people right now. Temptation still got the better of him though as he couldn't help but watch the way her hair bounced with every step and how delicate her hands were as she shook them with the teachers. Once she had reached her spot again and was out of casual view Bakugo settled for staring straight at everyone's shoes on stage for the rest of the event.

Eventually the last student crossed the stage and everyone around him stood up, pulling him out of his day dreams and quickly standing with them. "It is with great honor," Principle Nezu spoke into the microphone, "that I present to you this years UA graduating class and newest alumni! Go forth and go beyond, plus ultra!"

The crowd erupted into screams and cheers echoing 'plus ultra' as more confetti cannons blasted overhead. Hats went flying in all directions as Bakugo simply slid his hands into his pockets, waiting for the commotion to end. He felt a hand smack up against the back of his cap, sending it flying a few inches in front of him. Turning to glare in the direction of the hit he noticed pinky grinning like a cat that ate the canary at him and throwing up a peace sign before carrying on in her celebration. A deep huff left his chest as he rolled his eyes at her and bent down to retrieve his hat. The old hag told him to keep it so she could have it framed and his life would be hell if he returned without it.

The same volunteer students as before started escorting them back to the entrance tunnel as before, attempting to make order of the students dashing to retrieve caps from here and there. Bakugo just rolled his eyes at the antics and marched forward. Eventually they were cut loose and he pulled out his phone expecting a call to meet his parents somewhere outside the stadium. Sure enough a call came through from his father shortly after. After a brief discussion it was decided they would just meet up at the dorms so he could change out of the dressier clothes the school insisted on forcing him to wear to this shit show and they would take him out for lunch. He was never one to deny free food, though it was a rarity since the rest of these extras couldn't figure out how to cook so he was usually the one feeding the rest of them.

As he walked toward the dorms his mind wandered back to the mistress of gravity. He knew they were told to dress up but no one could even tell under the blue robes, but he wondered what she had decided to wear. It had to have been on the shorter side to not poke out the bottom of the gown, the thought of a small pink dress flitted through his brain. Visions of long and slender legs erupting from the bottom of short silky fabric consumed him, picturing how low cut it may have been to show off those goddess-like breasts that his hands had been all over just a couple days prior. What he wouldn't give to have his hands on her now, to hold that stupid delicate little hand in his or feel her soft skin pressed up against him. He would have given about anything to be laying next to her in bed again so he could catch a whiff of her shampoo off of her hair again. That night they both had reeked of alcohol but there was an unmistakable scent of vanilla and some flower he couldn't place rolling off her that had driven him crazy.

Bakugo was still lost in thought as he approached the dorms and heard a familiar voice call out. "Katsuki!" A woman yelled, waiving an arm in the air trying to flag him down. He was shaken out of his visions to see his mother calling to him and his father smiling by her side. His eyes rolled as he strolled up to them and prepared for the hag's onslaught he was sure to receive. Once he was close enough he opened his mouth to start saying hello but was quickly cut off by his mother near tackling him in a hug and squeezing his head and shoulders into her. "Katsuki, my baby, you have made us so proud!" She gushed as she swung him back and forth, arms pressing him into her chest and damn near suffocating him. With all his might he pushed against her trying to catch a breath but somehow she was always stronger than him and held on with the death grip of an anaconda securing its prey.

"For fucks sake woman you're choking me with your fucking tits!" He griped at her once he was able to push his face away enough to get a sentence out. Her closed fist came down hard over the top of his head and he glanced up to see her expression had changed to a murderous one.

"Stop being a little bastard and let your mother love you!" She said half through gritted teeth.

"You two, please? Can't we have a nice day where you don't fight?" Bakugo's father chimed in from behind them in an attempt to smooth over the interaction.

In a swift motion, she shoved Katsuki away from her but still held him by the shoulders. Her previously murderous expression now replaced again by one beaming with pride. "Yes, yes dear. I just want to hug my baby! My big pro-hero baby that I love so much!" She responded in a once again cheerful manner. With her emotions flipping like a switch Bakugo was amazed he didn't get whiplash from it.

Bakugo brushed her hands off his shoulders as he responded to her, "yeah yeah, now let me go get changed and we can-"

"Bakugo!" A sweet voice called from behind him.

"Oh! Who is this now?" His mother cooed as she leaned around to peak at the girl running up behind him.

"Bakugo!" Uraraka called again.

"Damn it" he muttered under his breath causing his mom to look at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Bakug- oh." Uraraka trailed off as she finally ran up to the trio realizing that he was with his parents and not other students. "I'm so sorry," she stuttered out. "I didn't realize you were… I can come back…"

"Katsuki," his mother said with honey dripping from her voice. It was a sharp contrast to the flat palm that came up and smacked the back of his head as she continued, "who is this lovely girl and why haven't you properly introduced us?"

Bakugo rubbed the back of his head where it stung from his mother's smack and glared at her. There was no way he would be able to get out of this one. He let out a defeated sigh before responding while gesturing with his hands, "This is my classmate, Uraraka. Uraraka, these are my parents."

Uraraka quickly dove into a bow as she continued to stammer out, "It is lovely to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Bakugo, but please, call me Ochako."

"It is lovely to meet you as well Ochako!" His mother replied. "You seemed in an awful hurry running up here, was there something important?" She inquired with a near devilish grin pointed at her son.

Bakugo swore that he could feel steam billowing out his ears at the impish actions of his mother. The old hag really knew how to drive a nail under his skin. "Oh! Um… I was just.. maybe.. going to see if.. um.. Bakugo would want to meet me for dinner… later tonight?" Uraraka stammered out while avoiding any eye contact and fidgeting with her gown. He swore that his mother's grin widened from ear to ear upon hearing that.

"Well I'm just certain he would love to!" His mom answered for him. If daggered stares could kill she would have about 40 knives sticking out of her right now. "Say, we were just about to grab some lunch, would you like to come with us?" She asked. Make that about 80 daggers.

"Oh! Well I would love to, but my parents are here and also wanted to have lunch with me." Uraraka spoke as she turned and nodded towards a couple in the parking lot that were as equally round as she was. Guess Bakugo knew where she got it from now.

"How lovely, we could all go together! Katsuki doesn't tell us much about his school friends so we would love to get to know you!" His mother gushed. "Here," she said pulling out her phone. "We were planning on going to this restaurant not too far from here, would that work for you and your parents?"

"Oh, yes, I think that would be fine." Uraraka said very unsure of herself.

"Wonderful!" His mother said with a single clap of her hands. "Let me get your number so I can send this to you and we will all meet there!"

The ladies exchanged information before Uraraka turned to return to her parents and inform them of the new plans. Mrs. Bakugo smiling and waving as she walked away. "What the fuck was that!?" Bakugo spit quietly so Uraraka wouldn't hear.

"That was your mother wanting to get to know one of the only girls who has shown serious interest in you." She spat back. "Now, I think we should head that way, after all you will want to stay dressed up to impress her parents."

He started to scream a string of profanities at her but was quickly cut off by her grabbing his ear and starting to drag him towards their car, the both of them bickering the whole way. His father simply rolled his eyes at the two, used to their explosive dynamic, and began to follow them as he riffled through his pockets for the keys.
