Hazel woke up in a daze, strung up on his feet upside down and shirtless as he swayed back and forth lightly, it was cold. He blinked a few times to regain his bearings, the ringing in his ears subsiding slightly as the sound of arguing can be heard close by. Hazel quickly turned his head, noticing that he was strung up inside some kind of interrogation room.

"I'm just saying," he heard a female voice this time, from outside of the room, must be that woman that snorted all those Dust earlier, even Hazel was confused as to how that worked, seeing as how she didn't have any kind of Aura, "If you were less pissy about things, the world becomes infinitely more enjoyable!" or maybe she was purposefully withholding her Aura… hmm…

"Oh I'm the pissy one?" Taurus replied to the woman, he sounds agitated, "Most of my Faunus brothers and sisters are dead and you're saying that I should just… 'chill out?!" Hazel heard the sound of something being punched, it was a thud, so probably a wall, "Gods you're even more insufferable than Courrier…"

"Why can't you just be glad that I'm here at all?"

"…" the silence was deafening, "Where are the three lackeys that always followed Courrier around? Or did you kill them too so that you can assume a position of power in the NVR?"

"Hey! I did not kill Courrier! He's my brother! Why would I kill a family member?" the woman huffed, so she was Courrier's sister? That Courrier? The one that saved a bunch of people in Vale AND the leader of the NVR and he's dead?! Hazel raised an eyebrow, silently eavesdropping on the conversation, interesting… "For your information, they're off doing my bidding right now!"

"And what could that possibly be?"

"That's none of your business."

"Yeah, not shady at all…"

"Fuck off."

"But that's beside the point, what matters right now is your attitude! At least Courrier was somewhat civilized when it came to more serious matters like this!"

"Serious? Is it my fault that you thought they were unconscious rather than dead? Y'know, with their heads all bent the wrong way and stuff?" the woman scoffed… or snorted, maybe she chuckled; it was pretty hard to hear…

"Don't mock them!"

"I'm not mocking them, I'm mocking you!"

"Fuck you!"

"Ah-ah, remember, you need me- I mean, my brother's product! Heheh…" the door was kicked in by the woman, holding an opened bottle of lightning Dust as she grinned at Hazel, he shuddered slightly, she looked psychopathic to say the least, blood-stained clothes and a faint scar on her forehead, he grimaced as she smacked him around a bit, "But enough of that, we have to question big man over here," she sniffed the lightning Dust, "He killed your 'brothers' right? Well now's your chance to get revenge!"

Taurus looked angry, "You!" he drew his red katana and pointed it at Hazel, "You'll answer for your crimes against the White Fang later," Taurus then sheathed the sword before punching Hazel in the jaw, "Who do you work for?!" Taurus was about to go in for another punch before his fist was stopped by the woman, "The hell?"

"You're not doing it right," the woman shook her head, sighing dramatically and clicking her tongue, "Tsk tsk Adam, you never learn anything from Courrier do you?" she held the bottle of lightning Dust out for him to grab, "Here, just stab it into his chest, trust," the woman grinned, Taurus just looked at her as if she's stupid.

"Are you trying to help him escape?" Taurus smacked her hand away, "I saw how he used Dust, you saw it too!" the woman just shrugged before jabbing the vial into Hazel's chest, he activated his Semblance and gritted his teeth when he feels the current of the Dust run through his veins, "What the hell!"

"No, no, watch," the woman pointed at Hazel as sparks of lightning shoots off his body, "Boom, the ropes binding him are not conductive enough for him to do anything right now," she cackled, "So here's my plan, we just keep stabbing him with lightning Dust until he overdoses OR until he tells us the correct answers, sounds good?"

"You're a sick, sick woman," Taurus grimaced, looking at Hazel's muscles tensing up from the Dust; he probably thinks that this hurts, which it does, with or without his Semblance, "I'm cool with beating the answers out of someone but torturing them like this? Yeesh…"

"Blah, blah, blah, spare your moral arguments for someone who cares," the woman waved her hand dismissively before crouching down to Hazel's level, "Alright, here's the deal, I rattle off some names and you tell me if you work for them, if you cooperate, then I'll maybe probably won't shove another vial into your chest, cool?"

Hazel nodded, he's as good as dead anyways, but if ratting out on Salem without her knowing means that someone can kill her and Ozpin by proxy then he'll spill as many beans as he can, "Great, you work for Salem right?" he tensed up, what the hell? "Ah-ha! Adam, be a dear and get out of the room real quick alright?" Taurus looks displeased at this but reluctantly left anyways, the woman turned back to Hazel when the door clicked, "Alright, keep answering questions, and I want verbal confirmation this time, got it?"

"Yes."

"Great, so you're like that bitch Cinder and her two goons right? Y'know them? Tweedledee and tweedledum? Girl with green hair and the idiot cripple that she carries around?" Hazel nodded, although he wouldn't call them such crass things, "Alright, alright… what's your mission here? Why'd you kill everyone?"

"She… Salem, she saw that Taurus was going against what she first predicted," Salem thought that Adam was easy to manipulate, on accounts of his emotional personality and extremely reactionary mindset when it comes to the White Fang or that Belladonna girl, so it came as a surprise when someone like him suddenly had a change of heart, completely abandoning his task given by Cinder and going off on his own, "She sent Fall to give him a role in the Vale attack but… well, you know how that went."

"Is that it?"

Hazel wracked his brain for any other reason, "Yeah… yeah, I think that's all," the woman looked pleased, "What's going to happen to me now?" Hazel sighed, he's as good as dead if Salem knows about this, but seeing how that woman snorted Dust without any consequences made him afraid for what she can do to him a lot more than Salem. At least with Salem, she'll just kill him and that's that.

"So what're you going to do if I let you go?"

"Report back to Salem, right now I'm as much in the dark as you are," Hazel looked away, he never was particularly loyal to Salem, only following her because he wanted to hurt Ozpin, aside from that… there's really nothing else that would compel him to stick with Salem and her schemes, "Maybe one of the others will contact me for a mission, but I don't know if that'll happen for sure."

The woman held up his Scroll, "Well, let's wait and see shall we?" she sat down on the floor and placed his Scroll in front of him, "Let's just sit here and wait for the Scroll to ring, I have time," Hazel blinked, she has that much free time?

Raven blocked a blow from Sharon's oversized pickaxe; she refused to call the woman her last name since Summer deserved to have her family name not tarnished by the deranged, murderous maniac in front of her, "Wow! Nice block! D'you do the same thing with your emotions when wittle Xiao Long looked at you for the first time?" Raven grits her teeth, how the fuck did she know about that? "Struck a nerve did I? Not like you have much of that when you ran away!"

Sharon vanished before reappearing right behind her, Raven quickly twirled around and raised Omen to block the hit, gritting her teeth as she felt the oversized pickaxe's edge digging into the weapon's blade, Sharon raised an eyebrow as she saw her weapon's edge freezing, "Ice? Interesting…" she quickly disengaged before smacking Raven in the face with the handle, "Poorly designed weapons and Branwens goes hand in hand don't you think?" she knocked away a few of the tribe members before grabbing Vernal by the throat.

"You don't seem to be very worried about your 'Maiden' being held at Scythe-point," Sharon glanced at Vernal, "You look like you should be in school! Not bumming it with unwashed savages!" she dropped Vernal before kicking her in the stomach, sending her a fair distance away before turning back to Raven, "You have the powers that I want, and unlike your cowardly rear, I intend to kill Salem with it," Sharon grinned, "Don't look so distraught dear, that's what Summer would've wanted right?" she drawled out that last word, Raven jumped at Sharon with Omen while the woman was busy talking shit.

"Woops," she held up her oversized pickaxe and blocked Omen's attack, the ice Dust blade slowly freezing her weapon as frost accumulated at the point of impact, "No respect for your elders anymore? No wonder you Branwens are either thugs or alcoholics! I just don't know what Summer sees in you two…" Sharon then teleported behind Raven before kicking her in the back of the knee, forcing her down to the ground before she slammed her weapon to the back of her head, Raven felt her Aura wittle away as she quickly jumped to Vernal's side.

"Raven…" Vernal coughed, "Who is this woman?!"

Raven grimaced as she watched Sharon impale the tribe members with her oversized pickaxe, wincing every time an Aura-less schmuck gets dismembered as he charged at Sharon, "Did you get the Schnee girl out?" Vernal nodded, "That's our bargaining chip against Atlas; go and make sure she's secured, I'll deal with the threat." With that, Vernal quickly dashed off to where she supposedly stashed away the Schnee girl while Raven stared down Sharon, "Are you done living out your psychopathic tendencies, Sharon? What would Summer think?" she hated using Summer's name like this but Sharon only ever seemed to respect her and no one else.

"Summer would think that you're a coward, Branwen," Sharon clicked her tongue, decapitating another tribe member, "At least your little brother's doing something of use, unlike you," Raven switched out her ice Dust blades for a lightning one, "Come on little birdie, fly over to your master." Sharon mocked as Raven jumped at her. It's clear that Sharon knows that Raven was the Spring Maiden, which means there's no point in concealing her powers anymore…

As she prepared to blast Sharon with her acquired magic, Raven's eyes widened as Sharon was tackled by some mint-colour haired guy after he slid in at high speeds, stumbling to her feet, Raven felt a punch at her lower back before her legs loses sensation, causing her to fall to the ground. The mint-colour haired man held Sharon down while the woman he ambushed them with dropped an elbow on her head, knocking her out completely. Raven then watched as the two high-fived each other, "Hell yeah, mission accomplished!" the mint-haired man said, "Now all we have to do is find this 'Maiden' person…"

Raven's mind began running circles, who are these people? How do they know about the Maidens? Did they know that she is the Spring Maiden? She tried to push herself up to no avail… "How does he- she expect us to know what to look for?" the woman sighed, "Lavs, c'mere, leave the tribal savages alone," Raven glanced to the side to see another woman beating the tar out of some of her tribe members, "Courrier said that a Maiden is 'probably' in Mistral," the woman said in heavy quotation marks, "I'm not going to kill every woman in the continent to see if she's a Maiden or not!"

"That's why we start with the bandits, were you even listening? We've already killed all the female members!" the man shook his head, "Do you have memory loss or something? No shit we're not going to go and kill every woman in Mistral just to get the Maiden powers, besides, Courrier did say to try to not kill the Maiden because of obvious reasons," the man sighed, "The civilians? No go. But the murderous scum Bandits and crazy people?" he pointed at Raven and Sharon, "Bingo!"

The three then turned to look at Raven, "Do we start with the bandit or the crazy lady?"

"They're both crazy."

"…Let's start with the crazy lady- and she's gone, great," the man sighed as he kicked the pile of rose petals on the ground, the woman, Lavs, then walked towards Raven and crouched down to her level. Raven clutched Omen tightly before swinging it at her, causing her to jump back, "Woah, Johan, why didn't you disable her arms too?"

"Oh damn, I must've slipped up, sorry…"

Raven used this moment to activate her Maiden powers, using the magic to blast herself away with wind to a safe place, "Wha- Johan!"

"Sorry!"

Another chapter, my writing mood is pretty all over the place right now so updates are going to be very sporadic and random, sorry.

Just rewatched the Fallout TV show again and damn is it good, it's good to see the West Coast again since the last time was in New Vegas.

And we're going to see New Vegas in the shows?! Can't wait for the next season!

I think Bethesda is doing well with the series, even though I may dislike some of their decisions regarding the games. Although Fallout 76 is good now, and it's been good for the last 2 years! Big ups Bethesda, it's infinitely better than the bullshit it was at launch at least.

If you want to know what the original creators of Fallout think about modern Fallout, I highly recommend checking out Tim Cain's YouTube channel, especially his video with 'How To Drink' and basically all of his Fallout related videos, great watch!

Thanks for reading!
