The scene at Betty's party unfolds in a lavish setting, capturing the essence of her style and charisma. The large living room is spacious and elegant, with high ceilings and grand chandeliers casting a warm, golden light over the room. The walls are adorned with tasteful artwork, and large windows overlook a beautifully decorated backyard, where the party spills out into the open air.
The backyard is a vibrant extension of the living room, filled with colorful lights strung between trees and along the edges of the garden. The area is meticulously decorated with flowers, balloons, and streamers in shades of gold and purple, Betty's favorite colors, creating an atmosphere of celebration and sophistication.
Inside, long tables are covered with white linens, laden with an array of delicious food and sweets. Platters of gourmet hors d'oeuvres, fresh fruits, and decadent desserts are arranged in an inviting display. Servants, dressed in crisp uniforms, move gracefully through the crowd, offering more delicacies to guests and taking special requests for freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen. A chocolate fountain stands as the centerpiece, surrounded by an assortment of treats for dipping—strawberries, marshmallows, and delicate pastries.
The living room is buzzing with activity. In one corner, a group of guests is gathered around a sleek billiards table, engaged in a friendly game. Nearby, another group is playing a lively round of charades, laughter ringing out as they try to guess each other's clues. The music playing in the background is a mix of upbeat pop tunes and smooth jazz, perfectly tailored to Betty's taste and creating a lively yet relaxed ambiance.
Near the back of the living room, close to the doors leading out to the backyard, a large group of fans has gathered around Betty. She stands at the center, the star of the evening, graciously chatting with her admirers, signing autographs, and posing for photos. Her laughter and charm light up the room, drawing people to her like a magnet.
On the opposite side of the room, another crowd is clustered around Nick, who is just as popular among his own group of fans. He's leaning casually against a table, a confident smile on his face as he engages in conversation, his fans hanging on his every word.
At Betty's party, the atmosphere was lively, filled with chatter, laughter, and the soft hum of music that played in the background. The large living room was beautifully decorated, with elegant furniture arranged to create cozy corners for conversation, while the glass doors offered a view of the decorated backyard, where more of the party was in full swing. The backyard was lit with string lights, casting a warm glow over the scene, with guests mingling around tables laden with delicious food, sweets, and delicacies prepared by the servants.
Brittany, Sarah, and Jessica, wandered through the party, trying to take in everything around them. They moved from group to group, observing the games being played and the conversations taking place. Despite the excitement, something felt off to them. They couldn't shake the feeling that they were missing something, or someone. The girls exchanged puzzled glances, their curiosity growing with each passing moment.
"Hey, Nick!" Brittany called out as she spotted him talking to a group of friends. She waved him over, and he approached them with a casual smile.
"What's up, girls?" Nick asked, his usual charm on display.
"Where's Cindy?... and Libby, they never miss parties like this," Sarah said, her voice tinged with curiosity.
Nick's smile faltered for a split second, and a flicker of irritation crossed his face. He quickly masked it, but not before the girls noticed. "How do I know?… They might be busy." he replied, his tone sharper than usual.
The abrupt change in Nick's demeanor only fueled their curiosity. Brittany, Sarah, and Jessica exchanged glances, sensing there was more to the story. "It's strange that both of them aren't present, at least one of them should be." Jessica pressed, her brow furrowing in concern.
Nick's patience was wearing thin. He clenched his jaw, trying to keep his frustration in check. "Look, I don't know, and that's all there is to it...Just because they're not there doesn't mean there won't be a party."
Determined to get to the bottom of it, Brittany, Sarah, and Jessica decided to find Betty. They made their way through the crowd, asking a few people along the way until they finally spotted her near the group of her fans. Betty was in the middle of a conversation when they approached, but she noticed them and turned to greet them with a smile.
"Hi, girls! Are you enjoying?" Betty asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Yeah, it's great," Brittany said quickly, before getting to the point. "Um...we were just waiting for our friends Libby and Cindy...aren't they here yet?"
Betty's smile wavered for a moment as she considered her response. "Well… I didn't even invite them...just disagreements I hate talking about." She replied, trying to sound nonchalant.
Brittany, Sarah, and Jessica exchanged confused glances after hearing Betty's response. They had always assumed that Cindy and Libby would be at the party—after all, they never missed events like this. The revelation that Betty hadn't even invited them felt strange and out of character for her.
"Oh... we didn't know," Sarah said, trying to mask the awkwardness that had settled over their conversation.
"Yeah, we thought they'd be here," Brittany added, her curiosity now tinged with concern. "What kind of disagreements?"
Betty's expression tightened slightly, a flash of something—irritation, maybe—crossing her face before she forced a smile. "It's nothing really. Just... You know how Cindy is, a troublemaker who claims to be above everyone else. I didn't want any drama at my party, so I decided it would be better not to invite them."
Jessica raised an eyebrow, not entirely convinced. "That doesn't sound like Cindy or Libby. They're always fun at parties."
Betty's forced smile faltered for a moment before she sighed, her shoulders slumping slightly. "Well, maybe I overreacted. But it's my party, and I wanted it to be perfect. No distractions, no unnecessary drama."
The girls nodded, though none of them looked completely satisfied with Betty's explanation. They knew Cindy and Libby well enough to know that they wouldn't cause trouble without a good reason. The tension between Betty and the two girls was a surprise, but it also made them wonder what had really happened to cause such a rift.
"Anyway," Betty said, her tone more upbeat as she tried to steer the conversation away from the awkward topic, "let's not worry about them. This party is about having fun, right? Come on, let's enjoy it!"
She gestured toward the rest of the party, encouraging the girls to move on and join in the festivities. Brittany, Sarah, and Jessica exchanged one more glance before nodding and following Betty's lead. But as they moved through the party, the curiosity and concern lingered in the back of their minds.
Betty heard the doorbell ring, every time someone came she would look out her window to see who it was, she had a servant to greet guests. Betty's heart raced with excitement as she hurried to the door, her fans and servants watching curiously. She never personally greeted guests like this, so they assumed it had to be someone special. But when she opened the door and saw Jimmy standing there, their surprise was palpable—not just because he had arrived, but because of how different he looked.
Jimmy looked at Betty in confusion, then glanced around, thinking, expressionless...Not bad...I think a party like this is really worth it...
Betty's initial excitement wavered as she noticed the coldness in Jimmy's eyes. The warmth and friendliness that used to define him were gone, replaced by an unsettling detachment. "Jimmy, I'm so glad you could make it!" Betty exclaimed, trying to sound cheerful despite the unease creeping into her voice.
Jimmy's lips curled into a half-smile, but it didn't reach his eyes. "Yeah, figured I'd drop by," he said coolly, looked around. He seemed to be assessing the scene, his gaze lingering on the guests who had paused to watch him enter.
Betty's smile faltered as she noticed that Jimmy's usual enthusiasm was missing. He was here, but it was clear he wasn't the same person she used to know, almost dismissive....They certainly haven't found a way to rid him of that clone yet.... "Feel free to join in on any of the activities," she said, trying to sound upbeat. "Everyone's having a great time!"
Jimmy nodded slightly but didn't respond. Instead, he walked past Betty, his presence commanding the attention of everyone. He moved through the crowd with a confidence that bordered on arrogance, his expression indifferent to the stares and whispers around him.
As Jimmy settled into a corner where some boys were playing on his Nintendo Switch, he watched them with detached interest. One of the players, a boy around his age, glanced at Jimmy and asked nervously, "Hey Neutron, want to join us?"
Jimmy raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Why? So you can lose even faster?" he replied, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
The boy's face flushed with embarrassment, and he quickly looked away. The others around them exchanged uneasy glances, unsure how to respond to Jimmy's cutting remark. The atmosphere grew tense as Jimmy continued to watch the groups, his wry smile never faded. He didn't even think about why he was here, but he had the urge to tease and maybe play some pranks to amuse himself. Or maybe even bombard fronts, he was used to that because of Cindy, he felt increasingly confident and above everyone.
Outside, Cindy remained hidden behind the metal fence, her eyes never leaving Jimmy. She had expected him to be here, but the way he was acting sent chills down her spine. This wasn't the Jimmy she knew and loved. The evil clone's influence was unmistakable, and it terrified her to see how much it had changed him. Cindy clenched her fists, determined to find a way to bring real Jimmy back, even if it meant confronting the dark force controlling him.
Jimmy, now in the large backyard, moved with an air of superiority as he surveyed the party activities. The backyard was buzzing with guests engaged in various games and challenges. A few were competing in a three-legged race, while others tried their luck at a ring toss. A group was gathered around a table, attempting to build the tallest tower out of playing cards.
Jimmy strolled past them, his eyes narrowing with amusement as he spotted a boy and girl struggling to keep their card tower from collapsing. He walked up behind them, hands casually in his pockets, and watched for a moment before leaning in.
"You know, if you used a bit of common sense, you'd realize that base is all wrong. But hey, keep trying—maybe you'll figure it out by the time this party's over," Jimmy said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
The boy's hands trembled, causing the entire tower to come crashing down. His face turned red with embarrassment, and the girl beside him glared at Jimmy, who simply shrugged and walked away, clearly pleased with himself.
Nearby, a group of girls were playing a game of Twister. Brittany, Sarah, Jessica laughing as they tried to contort themselves into the increasingly difficult positions called out by the spinner. Jimmy paused, watching as one Jessica struggled to reach a green dot without toppling over.
"Be careful girl, I don't want you to fall on your face in front of everyone." Jimmy remarked with a smirk, causing the girl to lose her balance and fall, much to the amusement of some of the onlookers. Jimmy chuckled, seemingly enjoying the discomfort he was causing others.
"Neutron!" Jessica shouted, her cheeks flushed. Jimmy didn't care and continued walking through the backyard, noticing a boy nervously trying to impress a small crowd with a magic trick. Jimmy wandered over, intrigued.
"Watch this," the boy announced as he prepared to pull a coin from behind a girl's ear.
"Let me guess," Jimmy interrupted, "it's a quarter, right? Or maybe a penny if you're feeling cheap."
The boy's face flushed, his confidence shaken. He fumbled with the trick, dropping the coin, which rolled away into the grass.
Meanwhile, Cindy somehow managed to jump into the backyard and sneak, carefully maneuvering among the guests to avoid being seen by Betty or Nick, she definitely won't announce she's here. She kept her head down, trying to blend in with the crowd, but her eyes were always on Jimmy. She needed to get closer to him, to figure out what he was up to.
As she slipped past a group of girls giggling over their party favors, Cindy saw Jimmy near the pool, idly tossing pebbles into the water and watching the ripples spread. She knew she had to be careful. One wrong move, and Betty or Nick might spot her, and that would ruin everything.
She ducked behind a decorative bush when she saw Nick approaching from the opposite direction. He looked annoyed, possibly still rattled by the girls' questions about Cindy earlier. Cindy held her breath, waiting for Nick to pass by, her heart pounding as she kept her eyes locked on Jimmy, who seemed to be contemplating his next move.
Cindy remained hidden behind the bush, her heart pounding as she watched Betty approach Jimmy, who was standing near the edge of the pool, lost in thought. His expression was a mix of boredom and annoyance, and it was clear that he wasn't in the best of moods.
Betty, however, seemed oblivious to his demeanor. She walked up to him with a bright smile, acting as if everything were perfectly normal. "Jimmy!" she greeted cheerfully, trying to capture his attention. "I'm so glad you're here, what do you think of my party huh?"
Jimmy glanced at her, his eyes narrowing slightly, he simply gave a small nod, acknowledging her presence. "Um...I can say it's the best party I've ever been to." He said without thinking.
"Oh...Thanks James," Betty said smiling, "Is there anything you'd like to eat? We've got all kinds of food—whatever you want, just name it, and I'll have one of the servants bring it to you."
Cindy, still crouched behind the bush, frowned as she observed the interaction. She didn't like the way Betty was treating Jimmy, almost as if he were some kind of special guest. It made her stomach churn with a mix of jealousy and suspicion.
Jimmy, on the other hand, seemed to consider Betty's offer for a moment. "Fine," he finally said, his voice devoid of emotion. "Get me something sweet. I don't care what."
Betty nodded enthusiastically and quickly turned to one of the servants nearby. "You heard him! Bring us the best dessert you've got, and make it quick!"
The servant hurried off to fulfill the order, leaving Betty and Jimmy alone again. Betty, sensing an opportunity to get closer to Jimmy, decided to steer the conversation into more personal territory.
There was a white table with an umbrella and three chairs, they both sat down, Betty seemed very happy to have him near her, Cindy quite the opposite. Jimmy was kind of annoyed, wondering why Betty treated him like this above everyone else, even though he was just a boy and not popular, he didn't know why, but he felt like a part of him really wanted to stay close to her.
Betty leaned in slightly, her voice soft and seemingly casual as she began, "So, Jimmy, that boy with the pink hat—Timmy, I think—he seemed really intent on provoking you. What's his deal? Why does he bother you so much?"
Cindy was far enough away to hear the conversation, she felt strange that Betty was the first thing you ask about is Timmy....What does Timmy have to do with what you're planning, Betty?... It doesn't matter, you'll still be watched...
Jimmy sighed, clearly frustrated. He responded with a nonchalant tone, "He's just a stupid loser who can't do anything on his own without his little 'parents.'" He was referring to Timmy's fairies, though he saw no point in elaborating further.
Betty, however, wasn't satisfied. She pressed on, her curiosity not yet sated. "I get that you're upset with him, but that doesn't really answer my question. What's really going on between you two?"
Jimmy folded his arms, his expression darkening with a mix of irritation and something that almost resembled regret. "He was just trying to belittle me, trying to get Cindy's attention because he likes her... even though I don't ca—" He paused, and for a brief moment, Cindy thought she saw a flicker of sadness in his eyes. "She... she didn't care. All his attempts failed... even though I thought she might have liked him at first."
At that moment, a servant arrived, carrying a tray laden with an assortment of sweets and cakes. Betty glanced at the treats, then back at Jimmy, seizing the opportunity to steer the conversation in a different direction.
"Well, then maybe it's because she doesn't like him as much as I think she likes you," Betty said, trying to sound casual but with a hint of something more in her tone. "Listen,... why don't you just leave that girl to Timmy?, she's mean, arrogant and demanding, I don't think she'll ever grow up, you deserve a better girlfriend—a girlfriend who respects and appreciates you no matter what you do wrong."
Cindy's heart pounded in her chest as she listened. Betty's words were like daggers, each one piercing deeper than the last. She felt her fists clench involuntarily,...That was before!...If he confirms to me one more time that I am officially his girlfriend...there will definitely be no need for me to treat him the same way... the urge to leap out from her hiding place and confront Betty growing stronger by the second.
Betty continued, her voice laced with nervousness now, "If you like her, that's your choice. But I just thought... geniuses like you deserve perfect girlfriends who will stand by you whenever you want, because I have a feeling that your intelligence might make you famous one day."
Not even five minutes had passed, but Cindy felt like she was on the verge of losing control. She could barely contain the anger simmering inside her, the desire to wipe that smug look off Betty's face. If Betty didn't stop talking soon, Cindy knew she'd have a hard time restraining herself.
As Betty's words hung in the air, a strange shift came over Jimmy. He stared off into the distance, his mind drifting away from the party and into a vivid daydream. He imagined himself as a twenty-something.
He pictured himself being the center of attention, effortlessly charming everyone around him. The envy of every man, the desire of every woman. His intelligence, his fame, his success—it all seemed to come so easily in this fantasy. And those girlfriends? They were exactly what he thought he deserved—women who admired him, who saw him as the brilliant genius he was, who would never challenge or argue with him like Cindy did.
But just as quickly as it had come, the dream began to fade. The cheering crowds, the adoring girlfriends, the fame—they all started to dissolve, leaving Jimmy with an unsettling emptiness as he returned to the present, back to the backyard party, and back to Betty's eager, waiting gaze.
Jimmy blinked, his eyes refocusing on Betty. "Well...uh...to be honest, I just thought Cindy Vortex would have been a good girlfriend but... if only she were less aggressive, and didn't treat me like trash."
Jimmy's words reminded her of the dream she had last night...it wasn't just a dream, we could have been better off really,...I feel...so disgusted!...Cindy thought, feeling extremely guilty about herself.
For a moment, Jimmy felt as if he was truly himself now and the effects of his evil clone had been temporarily disrupted.
Jimmy sighed, his gaze drifting away from Betty and into the memories that were now surfacing. "You know," he began, his voice tinged with a mix of frustration and sadness, "I always thought Cindy could have been like any other normal classmate." He nodded, his expression conflicted. "I never wanted to take Cindy's first place when we first met. I was just trying to do my best, you know? But... it was Cindy who started it all. She hated me from the moment I showed up, just because I was smart, just because I could do things she couldn't. She looked down on me, insulted me, made me feel like I was nothing."
Betty frowned, sympathy in her eyes. "That must have been really hard for you."
"It was," Jimmy admitted, his voice low. "At first, I tried to resist her, not to respond to her insults. But it got to the point where I couldn't stand it anymore. I became her rival because I had to, not because I wanted to. She forced me into this competition."
Cindy's heart sank as she heard Jimmy's words. She knew he was right—she had been the one to initiate their rivalry. He had never wanted to be her rival—he had been forced into that role by her own insecurities and need to prove herself.
Jimmy's expression hardened as the sadness in his voice began to turn into anger. His fists clenched slightly as he continued, his eyes narrowing. "And you know what? I get that she might actually like me, but what good is that if she's still going to treat me like I'm nothing?...I...don't feel safe."
Betty's eyes widened slightly, but she remained calm, nodding sympathetically as Jimmy vented. "It sounds like she's really hurt you, Jimmy. You deserve someone who appreciates you for who you are."
Jimmy scoffed, the bitterness evident in his tone. "Exactly. And what if she decides to leave me for someone else? Someone richer, or more popular, or... I don't know, someone who can give her something I can't? I'm not sure I can trust her. A girl like her... she's always looking for the next best thing."
Betty placed a reassuring hand on his arm, her touch gentle and understanding. "I can see why you're angry. It's tough to trust someone when they've treated you like that. Maybe it would help to take a break from all this... to clear your head. Why don't we walk around for a bit? You can get away from the crowd, and maybe it'll help you think things through."
Jimmy thought for a moment, his mind racing with doubt and frustration. Finally, he nodded, as if he had made up his mind. The anger that had flared up inside him had cemented his decision—he wasn't sure he could trust Cindy anymore. "Yeah... maybe that's a good idea," he said, his voice resolute.
Betty smiled softly and led the way, guiding Jimmy away from the crowd. Cindy watched from her hiding spot,...No...it seems that Betty also had an effect on breaking that clone of his...Damn you, I'm supposed to be the one being saved...She could only watch helplessly as Jimmy walked away with Betty, unsure of what to do next.
10:13 PM
Cindy remained in her hiding place, feeling utterly defeated. The conversation she had overheard left her with a heavy weight of guilt, and she struggled to process the emotions swirling inside her. For a few minutes, she stayed rooted to the spot, unable to move or even think clearly. The sounds of the party around her seemed distant, drowned out by the echo of Jimmy's words.
But then, something strange caught her attention. The guests at the party began to murmur, their voices tinged with curiosity and concern. Cindy blinked, shaking herself out of her daze, and peered through the leaves of the bush she was hiding behind. In the sky above, a bright light streaked across the atmosphere, like a comet burning its way through the night.
Everyone at the party turned their gaze upward, pointing and exclaiming in awe. The light grew brighter and larger, moving with a speed and precision that was unlike any natural phenomenon. Cindy's heart raced as she realized this wasn't comet....Could they be Heartis and Libby?...
The light continued its descent, revealing itself to be a spaceship, its sleek metallic surface gleaming as it approached. Cindy's eyes widened in shock as she recognized the ship. Inside, she could make out three figures—Heartis, Libby, and someone else... someone she hadn't seen in a long time.
The spaceship slowed as it neared the ground, preparing to land a little distance away from Betty's house. As it hovered closer, the faces inside became clearer. Jimmy, who had been walking with Betty, stopped in his tracks. His eyes locked onto the figure inside the ship. "What?!..."
Jimmy's hand trembled, causing the juice cup he was holding to slip from his grasp and fall to the ground with a soft thud. The liquid splattered across the grass, unnoticed by everyone, as all eyes were fixated on the spaceship descending from the sky.
Betty, sensing the shift in Jimmy's demeanor, followed his gaze and gasped. The party guests, including Cindy, were in a state of shock and disbelief. The spaceship, now fully visible, landed gently on the ground, very close to Betty's house.
As the spaceship touched down near Betty's house, the once lively party atmosphere evaporated. The guests, stunned and curious, began to abandon their drinks and conversations, their focus now solely on the mysterious ship that had just landed. A wave of excitement and confusion rippled through the crowd as they rushed toward the spacecraft, eager to see who—or what—was inside.
Jimmy, still reeling from the shock, followed the crowd, he didn't wait for Betty, who called after him as he hurried toward the spaceship. Cindy, still hidden in the bushes, saw Jimmy heading toward the ship. Without thinking, she sprang to her feet, her guilt and uncertainty temporarily shoved aside by the urgent need to follow him, but as she began to move, her foot caught on a root, and before she could regain her balance, she collided with Nick, who had been running in the same direction.
Cindy hit the ground hard, the impact jolting her back to the reality of her surroundings. She quickly tried to scramble to her feet, but the shock of the fall left her momentarily dazed. As she struggled to stand, a voice behind her made her freeze.
"Well, well, what is the big mouth girl doing here?" It was Betty, her voice dripping with suspicion and surprise.
Cindy's heart skipped a beat. She was trapped—Nick stood in front of her, blocking her path, while Betty loomed behind her.
Nick, who had been momentarily startled by the collision, narrowed his eyes as he looked down at Cindy. "Didn't you say it was a trash party? or should I just say you were just here to monitor Neutron!" he sneered, his usual arrogance evident in his tone.
Meanwhile, away from the party, everyone was waiting to see what would come out of that spaceship. Most of the guests were suspecting that this spaceship definitely belonged to Jimmy and not aliens as some feared.
Among them was Jimmy, who must have known that this was the spacecraft that Libby and Heartis had taken....Woe to you, Libby, if you come back without Sheen, you will pay me!...
As the spaceship's door hissed open, a collective gasp echoed through the crowd. All eyes were glued to the gleaming vessel, the tension thick enough to cut with a knife. Jimmy, his initial shock morphing into an arrogant smirk, puffed out his chest as he marched toward the ship. In his mind, this was clearly his doing—his technology, his genius. He was already mentally preparing the speech he'd give to explain how he had orchestrated this entire event.
The door of the spaceship slowly lowered to form a ramp, and out stepped Heartis, his expression calm and focused as he surveyed the crowd. He was followed by Libby, who looked around with a mix of relief and caution, as if she couldn't quite believe she was back on Earth. The crowd murmured in confusion, recognizing Libby and wondering what she was doing aboard the strange ship.
But it was the third figure that truly shocked the crowd. Sheen Estevez, who had been missing for two months, came bounding out of the spaceship, his usual goofy grin plastered on his face. "Holy shit! it's been a long time since I've seen this many humans" he shouted, "wait a minute...I AM ON EARTH!" he shouted, throwing his arms wide as if to embrace the entire world.
The crowd erupted into gasps and exclamations. People pointed, some shouting in disbelief. "He's alive!?"
Jimmy's smirk faded as he watched Sheen's over-the-top reaction. This wasn't the grand entrance he had envisioned—it was Sheen, being Sheen, stealing the spotlight in the most ridiculous way possible. Jimmy clenched his fists, annoyed that his moment was being overshadowed.
Meanwhile, in the backyard of the party, there was just Nick, Cindy, and Betty.
Cindy heard Sheen's voice....Heartis you are really amazing, I can't believe you are my boy...Cindy felt so proud as. That even before she met Heartis, she dreamed of having a perfect son like him in the future, and what made her even happier was that he was the son of her dream boy. She still narrowed her eyes at Betty and Nick.
Cindy's heart was still racing with pride, her thoughts swirling with the realization of the future she might have with Jimmy and Heartis. Yet, the tension in the backyard was thick, with Betty and Nick eyeing her with suspicion and disdain.
Betty's voice cut through the silence, filled with a rare edge of authority. "Nick, why don't you leave it to me? Go see what's going on over there." Her tone was commanding, almost dismissive, as if she wanted to handle Cindy on her own.
Nick, caught off guard by Betty's unusual assertiveness, hesitated for a moment. He turned to Cindy, his eyes narrowing with a mixture of anger and warning. "Don't think for a second that you'll get away with anything." With one last glare, he stalked off toward the spaceship, leaving Cindy alone with Betty.
Sheen, ever the showman, had somehow managed to climb on top of the spaceship, his arms spread wide as if he were about to address a legion of devoted Ultra Lord fans. The crowd, still buzzing with shock and curiosity, quieted down slightly as they focused on him, waiting for an explanation.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" Sheen began, his voice filled with the same exaggerated bravado he always used when talking about his Ultra Lord. "Please, remain calm! I know you are all in the presence of greatness, and it can be overwhelming, but let me assure you—I am here to tell you the tale of Sheen Estevez, hero of Zeenu!"
He struck a dramatic pose, his hand on his chest as he looked up at the sky. "For the past two months, I have been living on Planet Zeenu, where I, Sheen, was treated like a king...no, like an Ultra Lord! I battled fierce creatures, made friends with the local warriors, and even saved the planet a few times." Blah blah blah.
The crowd watched in a mixture of disbelief and amusement, some whispering to each other, while others simply shook their heads. But Sheen was undeterred.
"And now, I have returned to Earth, bringing with me tales of bravery, heroism, and—" He was abruptly cut off by a voice that rang out over the crowd, dripping with venom.
"Give your stupid speech somewhere else! Get away from my spaceship!" Jimmy's voice was filled with an intense, unexpected anger, cutting through the atmosphere like a knife.
A collective gasp rippled through the crowd. Many of them knew that Jimmy and Sheen had been best friends for years, and this outburst was not only shocking but completely out of character. Heartis who felt strange from his father, and next to him Libby who was seething with anger, wanting to step forward and beat Jimmy up.
Sheen, taken aback by the hostility in Jimmy's voice, forced a nervous smile. He tried to brush off the tension, his usual goofy demeanor faltering as he jumped down from the spaceship and approached Jimmy. "Hey, Jimmy…my best friend…you have no idea how much I've missed you. Come on, palm off!" He extended his hand, hoping for some sign of the friendship they once shared.
But Jimmy's face remained stony, his eyes hard and unforgiving. He looked at Sheen's outstretched hand for a moment, the air thick with tension. Then, with a swift motion, he slapped Sheen's hand away, the sound echoing in the stunned silence. Without a word, Jimmy marched toward the spaceship, his posture rigid, his expression unyielding.
Sheen stood frozen, his hand still hanging in the air where Jimmy had slapped it away. The crowd was silent, their shock palpable. Sheen's face, usually so full of energy and life, crumpled with hurt and confusion. For a moment, it seemed as though everyone had forgotten how to breathe, the tension so thick it was suffocating.
Libby, unable to stand by any longer, took a step forward, but Heartis gently grabbed her arm, holding her back. "Please, not now." he whispered, his voice filled with a mix of caution and concern.
Sheen, swallowing the lump in his throat, tried to regain his composure. For the first time ever, Sheen couldn't even smile weakly. He felt so weak, regretting meeting Jimmy like this. "Well, uh…at least he should have told me why he was angry instead of embarrassing me!" he mumbled, more to himself than anyone else.
Sheen slowly turned to look at Jimmy, he felt disgusted, he couldn't believe that this was the same one as his best friend.
