Stephanie thinks about her life as she listens to a song by Fleetwood Mac. She decides it’s an honest depiction of her relationship with Joe and Ranger. Stephanie takes a step back to consider what she wants to do with her love life.

Ranger arrives back from an extended mission and is thrust straight into a crisis the likes of which he never could have imagined. Will they all make it out alive? Angst, angst and more angst.

A seemingly kind act brews trouble for Stephanie.

When Ranger is given an unimaginable opportunity to live his life over from an unknown point, he takes the chance to save Stephanie. But he also seizes the opportunity to help people where he couldn't and to avoid making the same mistakes from his previous life. But even seemingly small changes to time can alter destiny. AU. Steph returns home for the holidays after a year away. She discovers some things can't be resolved with just time and distance. It all leads back to him and her hometown, you can run but only so far. Loosely inspired by the song of the same name by Taylor Swift.

Even from different areas of the world, outside forces are willing to go above and beyond to help Ranger and Stephanie get back to each other.
