The magical therapist chapter 3, some magic happens

After Harry was found, Vernon and Petunia were arrested and taken into custody. It was like years of memories had been unleashed, "Yo Tom what do you want to do with the Dursley kid? I can call social services but it might be a few hours." one of the police on scene asked.

Tom Granger looked at the boy he had been the reason he found Harry. He was just as much of a victim as Harry was. Something in his mind was tugging at him, but he wasn't sure why. He shook his head, "Nah their case should be tomorrow or at some point this week depending on when Judge Bones has an opening in her books. I will take him for the night Jean will love to have someone else to spoil." Tom said "Son go get your things. Hermione you take Dudley home and let your mother know we have a quest and that I went to the hospital to check on a patient and I might not be home till tomorrow night." Tom Granger ordered the two children around.

Hermione nodded and waited patiently for Dudley, "Yes Daddy. Come on Dudley maybe Mommy will make us hot cocoa with extra marshmallows." Hermione said the boy followed looking like a lost puppy.

Tom Granger wasn't surprised his life was more or less changed and taken away from him all in the course of a night. He knew Jean didn't often let Hermione have sweets being a dentist, but he had a feeling tonight would be different. He shook his head his thoughts now on Harry as he sat next to the boy in the hospital bed. Beaten, bruised, and broken. He couldn't believe all this young boy had gone through in the short term of his life. He promised to make it better no matter what. He felt his phone ringing in his pocket and thought it might be his wife, but noticed it was the court. "Office Granger this is Madame under secretary Brown I was calling to inform you that Amelia Bones has an opening in the next hour if you can attend and bring the information from the hospital. On patient X." Madame Brown informed him.

Tom looked at his watch and nodded, "Yes I can be there with the documents shortly. Their child is currently in my custody in case they get out though with the proof I have I severely doubt it." Tom Granger said. They exchanged pleasantries and ended the call. Tom Granger walked out and saw an auror standing beside it, "No one is to be alone with that boy. He is to be protected at all costs! Do you understand?" He asked the skinny tall couldn't be over twenty kid.

He nodded, "Yes sir I will protect him with my life." the Auror replied.

Tom Granger nodded and walked to the main office receiving all the information and documentation when he left he was angrier than a bull in a china shop and heartbroken about what and how much this young boy had already faced in his young life. He would make sure justice was served one way or another. He stepped into the elevator in full uniform one of his co-workers nodded at him, "Must be important for you to be here. That bad of a case Tom?" the co-worker asked.

Tom looked at him and the other man swore he saw death from his eyes and shrank back in shock and fear, "Worst than you can possibly imagine I am going to make these people pay for what they have done. Teddy go home tonight and hug your
daughter. And, cherish her I know I will be when I get home." Tom said to him. The door opened, "Good day Teddy" he said as he exited the elevator.

Many backed away and moved out of his way. It wasn't often that Officer Granger was in the building, and when he was you got out of his way and you knew it was a big and not to mess with him. Officer Granger didn't mind that people feared him it made his job easier, though at the same time harder since people tended to run faster when they knew he was on their tail. But, he had never lost a case yet, and he didn't expect to lose today. A young secretary sat outside the chambers, she wore a poodle skirt and white blonde hair. "Ah Officer Granger I wondered what the noise was all about in our fair hallways. I was afraid the nargles were finally being seen by the unbelievers. But, alas it is just you." Patiene Lovegood said with a dreamy look in her eyes.

Tom Granger grinned and reached into his pocket pulling out some Holly. Patience's eyes grew wide with excitement, "I remember you telling me that Holly was good for the baby. So I thought I would bring you some. How is Xeno? Excited to be a father?" Tom Granger asked with eyeing her growing baby bump.

She took the Holly in officer Granger's offered hand with a large smile, "Oh yes this is just perfect I haven't been able to get to the shops to secure any I am much appreciated. We already have the young one our lovely Luna. She should be around here somewhere. Last I saw she was chasing the nargles. She will come back she always does. Xeno is excited about this one, not that he wasn't excited about the news of our precious Luna being born, but I have a feeling is going to be a boy." She said with such joy in her eyes.

Officer Granger smiled at the young woman. A feeling of longing and something missing touched him inside like a missing memory but he just shook his head. "I am gonna head in but be sure to get in contact with Jean so the girls can have a play date soon. And, of course, have you and Xeno over for dinner." He said to her.

She smiled at him and nodded, "Of course, they are ready for you now. And, it seems the nargles are clearing from your own mind, and you will soon learn things you have long forgotten. Congratulations Officer Granger." Patience says then goes back into her own world.

Tom just shook his head he wished life could be as simple as she seems to make it out to be. He pushed the doors open and the whole hall was in quiet whispers. Many were in shock to see who had walked into the door. "Ah, Office Granger right on time. The court is being called into session. In the case of child neglect, abuse, and criminal charges. Against Vernon and Petunia Dursley against." Amelia's eyes went wide and she looked at Officer Granger for him to acknowledge what she was about to say. Tom looked at her sadly and nodded. She shook her head and raised her head again, "The House of Potter. The abuse and neglect were against the minor left in their custody by," Once again she looked at Tom in shock he just nodded his face hard as stone, " Order of Merlin, First Class, and the Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards as well as the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore." many shocked gasps broke out throughout the presiding. "Who was unable to make this proceeding, but if it has come to pass the Wizgnot will be pressing the necessary charges against him as well. Officer Granger you were the arresting officer on scene please tell us how this came about." Amelia said to him from the head seat. Vernon and Petunia were in magical chains and in raggy clothing. Tom has a small grin of victory seeing them like that, but he knew it was time for the truth to come out.

Officer Granger stepped forward placing the documentation on the column in front of him. Though he was a squib he loved magic. The papers glowed and were multiplied and sent to each head of house making decisions to read at their own time. "I was asleep when I received and heard a noise complaint. It was in the house next to me and I realized it was a child. As many of you know Vernon Dursley has been on our radar for quite some time, but we were never able to pin anything on him. Until now." Officer Granger starts out.

Before he can get another word out he was interrupted, "THIS IS ALL LIES! HE IS SIDING WITH THE FREAK! DON'T BELIEVE A WORD HE..." Vernon Dursley's shouts were cut short.

Amelia replaced her wand back in her robe and Vernon was becoming purple still shouting though no noise was coming out, "Now I didn't give you permission to speak Vernon Dursley. Please continue Officer Granger with this court's dearest apologies." Amelia says with a nod.

Inward Tom was doing a dance of victory of the buffoon finally being silenced. "Yes ma'am. As I was saying I went to inspect the noise. It sounded as if a child was being harmed or in danger. I had acquired a warrant from you. Mr. Dursley was the one to open the door, though he didn't seem happy to see me. I explain I am there to check on the noise which had only gotten louder when he opened the door. So I knew the noise was coming from inside. I thought at first it was Dudley Dursley their son" he paused an odd taste in his mouth when he called Dudley their son. "He is currently here with my wife and daughter. As the heads can see no harm and he is well. And, so when inquiring about others on the premises he began to become jumpy and enraged. I knew something must be going on. So when I entered the premises I called for backup not knowing what scenario I was going to find I thought better safe than sorry. Soon after entering his wife Petunia Dursley came down the stairs and soon after that their son Dudley Dursley. I received information that his parents had placed the child Scoin of houses of Black and Potter being the son of Lord and Lady Potter and the godson of Lord Sirius Black making him his next heir until he has his own child, into the cupboard under the stairs." he paused for a moment when the hall became enraged.

A child is the most sacred thing you can have in the wizarding world. It isn't always guaranteed but you need a child to carry on the bloodline. So to treat a child worse than a house-elf even enraged the pureblood in the court today. "ORDER ORDER I WILL HAVE ORDER," Amelia said through the projection charm. The hall was once again silent, "Please continue Office Granger," Amelia says though he could see the anger plain as day in her eyes.

He had no doubt he would be winning this case and they would pay, "Thank you, Madame Bones. As I was saying after receiving the information from their son he quickly ran back to his room. If I had to guess it was to be away from his enraged parents. But, I won't speak on his behalf just by what my observations were. I went to open the closet door and there on an old mattress, stained with feces and urine, springs coming out of the mattress. He lay bloody, bruised, and looked to be not breathing if not for the noises of pain I would have thought him to be dead. I ask the heads of houses to take into account the documentation I have provided along with the photos to grant justice to the house of Potter. We have already lost two amazing heads may Lady Lily and Lord James rest in peace. Get these monsters off the streets so they can not harm another child or human being. What if it was your own heir? Let us get justice for scion Harry James Potter. I am finished madame Bones." Officer Granger said with a slight bow and returned to his seat.

Amelia nodded toward him, "Thank you Officer Granger for your testimony now Mr. and Mrs. Dursley is there anything you would like to say in your defense at these horrible accusations against yourselves?" Madame Bones asked them knowing there was no way they were going to dig themselves out of this hole they had been put into.

Vernon was still unable to speak which Officer Granger thanked Merlin for. And, it seemed Petunia was fed up and knew she wasn't getting out of there, "I NEVER BLOODY WANTED EITHER OF THEM! DUMBLEDORE MADE ME TAKE THEM DUDLEY ISN'T EVEN OUR SON! DUMBLEDORE TOOK HIM AND SAID HE WOULD BE THE PERFECT SON FOR US. I HAD WISHED MY SISTER DEAD FOR YEARS AND WAS JOYFUL WHEN I RECEIVED THE NEWS! BUT THEN FUCKING DUMBLEDORE LEFT THE MISTAKE ON OUR DOORSTEPS BECAUSE HIS GODFATHER WAS AWAY! I WANTED HIM DEAD HE WAS GOING TO MAKE IT SO DUDLEY WASN'T THE PERFECT SON! YOU ARE ALL JUST A BUNCH OF FREAKS WHO SHOULD BE ELIMINATED AND LET US NORMAL PEOPLE LIVE WITHOUT YOU." Petunia's shout of guiltiness rang through the hall.

The hall became deadly silent, many were shocked. Hell, I was shocked she just admitted that Dudley wasn't her son and she wished harm on her own nephew. "Did you help in the abuse of scion Harry James Potter Mrs. Dursley?" Amelia asked her through clenched teeth.

Petiunia spits in her general direction, "I wish I would have done more. I had no doubt with the infection he had this time tomorrow if fucking Officer Granger hadn't interfered he would be dead! And, out of our life! FREAKS SHOULD BE PUT TO DEATH!" she said her voice getting louder and louder with each passing word.

Amelia thankfully silenced her as well. "Heads and members of the wizgnot you have heard the sides of this case. If you think the defendants Mr. Vernon and Mrs. Petunia Dursley are innocent of all charges please light your wands at this time." Amelia called out. Tom Granger looked around the room not a single wand was lit. He had done it he finally got Vernon Dursley! "And, those who think the Durleys are guilty of all charges please light your wands now," Amelia called out. As soon as the words were out of her mouth all wands lit. The vote was unanimous. "Thank you heads and wizgnot. Petunia and Vernon you have been found guilty of multiple counts of child endangerment, abuse, and a few other charges. Twice the amount because even if you weren't doing it to Dudley as blatantly as you were doing it to Scoin Black and Potter. The court still sees Dudley is still a victim, knowing he isn't your real son and didn't want him. We the wizgnot see his home life was enough for Officer Granger to charge his adoptive parents with abuse and neglect as well. Aurors please take them into custody to be sent to the next boat to Azkaban holding cell. Case dismissed." Amelia Bones called out.

Tom went to meet with his family knowing he would have to do some paperwork with yet another win, but he wanted to check on Dudley after the news he has just heard the child must be a wreck. Dudley sees Tom coming up to them and even though he'd only been free from his capacity for less than 20 minutes, Dudley decides it was time he helped protect people. Because in his mind and just what he saw and witnessed Harry and himself were both victims. Dudley walks over to Officer Granger and grabs his head as memories he didn't know were missing came flooding back to him. He looks at Officer Granger in shock and knew it was more important than ever to tell him, "I know of a lot more reasons the Dursleys should be in Azkaban." Dudley says to Tom Granger.

Tom Granger was about to ask for more information when he began to hold his head in pain. Memories came flooding back, and he knew the truth. After all this time. And he knew the wizard he could blame. Dumbledore. Tom looked at Dudley in a new light, "Dudley. Oh son I am so sorry! Oh, Dudley!" Tom Granger finally remembered he had a son! Years were taken away from him because of that monster. He would make him pay!

As the two embraced Hermione cried out in pain as she remembered she had a twin brother. Dudley and Tom rushed over to her "Mione are you ok?" Dudley asked in concern. Knowing what she was going through, but never would he want his baby sister only by three minutes to be in any pain.

Hermione hadn't heard anyone call her that except for the faint memory in her head. Hermione looked at Dudley in confusion, "What did you just call me?" Hermione asked in shock.

Dudley held her close thinking she was going into shock from memory overload, "Mione that's what I called you. It's what I have always called you." Dudley answered. As the twins were getting reacquainted the reunited family walked out of the hall.

Patience was still there and she had the brightest look on her face was joy, "Oh thank Merlin the nargles have finally been lifted and the family of Granger is finally together again! We must celebrate come to the house tonight I am making moon pies!" Patience says.

Little Luna seeing her friend rushed from behind her mother's legs, "Hermione! Now we're both going to have brother's isn't that great" Luna said happiness and wonder in her eyes. Tom Granger often wondered if the young Lovegood was a seer like her mother. But, she got one thing right! Hermione got her brother back and he and his wife have their son back. The Granger family was finally whole again! And, he would murder anyone who tried to separate them again. In their joy and excitement, they didn't notice the two people standing in the shadows watching the happy family before they disappeared in thin air. It was truly a day for the history books that no one would forget for a long time. The Granger's never would that's for sure.

Harry: Woah! I was hardly in this chapter, but this was a lot of feels!

Isaac: You'll have to thank my beta for that before she got her hands on it. It wasn't even 300 words. She is a miracle worker!

Dezirae: Oh Isaac I just took your idea and enhanced it! This masterpiece is all you!

Hermione: I want to point out in Dudley being my twin does that mean he gets a redemption ark?

Dezirae: Yes and it was all Isaac's idea!

Harry: Thanks, man! Oh, who were those creepy people watching in the shadows?

Dezirae: Creepy People Harry wha... (hand appears and takes her)

Isaac: DEZIRAE DEZIRAE WHERE ARE YOU!

Harry: Oh no Hermione what's going on are you going to be taken next (grabs wand and the claw spear of Ravenclaw) You can't have here you hear me mystery hand!

Isaac: YOU CANT HAVE MY BE...(hand appears and takes him too)

Harry: ISAAC ISSAC Hermione we have to get the others we have to help them.

(Harry and Hermione rush off)
