Calypso's radio channels were unique. There were two for the team, the first serving almost as an emergency beacon in the fact that regardless of where a teammate was in the city, they could be heard by the rest of the team. The second channel was also omnidirectional, but lacked the immense range and was only open to teammates within a certain proximity of each other. Useful for situations where the team would be split up and in different battles, like they were now. Quatro was sure the enemy team had an identical set of radio channels as well.

Quatro was on the second channel as he drove down the main road towards the commotion near the highway entrance. Directly ahead, at the end of the street, a green dune buggy came speeding from around the corner in reverse. A thin, lime-green stream of some kind of acid sprayed form a hole in the hood onto its attacker. The dune buggy registered as a teammate on his sensors but the econo car with the blue, red, and yellow floral patterns that followed it around the corner, was not.

Quatro sped forward to intercept. The dune buggy kept reversing down the road perpendicular to the one he was on, kept battling the econo car. Quatro maneuvered the hover bike over the sidewalk and across a dirt plain to meet them.

Amanda was on the second radio channel as well, and when she saw Quatro flying in from the side to relieve her, said, "I'm breakin' off!"

She expertly spun the dune buggy around and sped away just as he activated his signature microwave shockwave. The econo car swerved off the road and struggled to maintain control, but Quatro rammed it right in the driver's side and sent it into a sidelong roll. He followed up with another microwave shockwave and launched the econo car up through the air and almost onto the highway. The car crunched against the concrete guard rail and fell heavily back to the ground.

Quatro saw that his foe had landed in a gap between the highway and the back end of a decrepit strip club. He drove into the strip club's parking lot to get a better angle into the space where the econo car lay on its side, unmoving. He cycled through his weapons and armed the sticky detonator. It was actually a semtex explosive covered in a super strong, environmentally durable adhesive and would be fired from its own separate cannon with its own specially designed casing all around the inside.

As intricate as it seemed, the manufacturers hadn't been the most imaginative bunch when it game to naming weapons. He fired and, true to its name, it stuck like glue to the highway wall. When he detonated it, it blew a large chunk of concrete out of the wall and destroyed a section of the strip club. He didn't see the rest of the damage, but the announcer told him all he needed to know, along with a second report he didn't find as satisfying.

"Flower Power destroyed. Meter Maid destroyed. Five opponents remain. Five team members remain."
