Setting 1 Back on the boat
When we last left our cast everyone was doing their own thing on the boat. The adults were cooking and talking. While Allee and Hailey were watching the kids.
-Lapis- So Auntie Allee how do we play ring toss?
-Jade- No, the better question is how do I win at ring toss.
-Jasper- Who says that you are going to win?
-Jade- I always win that's who.
-Allee- Alright settle down you two. The rules are very simple. (She said holding up bottles.) Each bottle is worth different points depending on their color. Red is ten. Blue is five. And yellow is one. I will set up the bottles right here and you three stand here. Now try to throw these five rings on to the bottles. Who ever scores the most points at the end of each round wins.
-Jasper- Neat I want to go first. Please.
-Hailey- Sure Jasper.
-Jasper- (He threw the ring and did not get any of the bottles.)
-Jade- Hahahaha. Oh I'm sorry what did you say bro? That you would win well, how if that was your…
-Jasper- Warm up throw that is what it was you will see. (He throws it and this time got a one.) Yes I did it.
-Lapis- Yay big brother.
-Jade- Beginners luck
-Jasper- (He threw it again and got two more ones and then a five.) Hahah beat that Jade.
-Jade- Oh it is on. (She throws the rings and got all fives.)
-Jasper- How did you do that?
-Jade- Natural talent.
-Jasper- Oh I am going to beat you just watch…
-Lapis- Um actually…
-Jade- Hahaha that will be the day. Nerd.
-Jasper- You take that back.
-Lapis- Excuse me.
-Jade- Oh I am sorry would you prefer geek.
-Jasper- No that is worse and…
-Lapis- I WANT A TURN!
-Jasper & Jade- (They looked at her) Oh sorry sis.
-Lapis- Thankyou. (She got her rings and managed to get all tens.) Yay I win! (Jade and Jasper stared in disbelief.)
-Allee- Great job now, who wants to try next?
-Zam- Oh me Zam wishes victory.
-Allee- Ok Zam.
-Zam- (He throws and his first ring bounces off of the bottle.)
-Allee- Hit the deck. (Everybody ducks except for Lapis who gets hit with the ring. It bounces off of her and she falls to the floor and then it lands on top of one of her horns.)
-Zam- (Everybody runs to see if Lapis is ok.) Oh Irk no Lapis are you ok?
-Lapis- I think so. My head feels heavy though.
-Jade- That is because haha you have a new hornring hahaha.
-Hailey- Jade it is not funny. (She picked up Lapis..) Oh Lapis we should get you metical aid.
-Lapis- No I am fine. Really it was kind of fun. You know what maybe, I should be the target.
-Hailey- WHAT!
-Allee- Good idea Lapis we will form teams of two to see who can get a ringer.
-Lapis- Yay!
-Hailey- No no no Allee this is dangerous. What if they put Lapis' eye out?
-Lapis- (She flew out of Hailey's arms.) They will have to catch me first. It will be like dodge ball but with rings.
-Allee- Exactly but one target is not challenging enough. Hey Marvin, come here. (She grabbed Marvin.)
-Marvin- Allee what is going on?
-Allee- You are going to be a target.
-Marvin- I am what?
-Allee- The teams of two are going to try and throw rings on you and Lapis' horns. Meanwhile you and Lapis try to dodge.
-Marvin- What this is absurd. I don't want to play.
-Lapis- Please grandpa! Please! (She looked at him with those eyes.)
-Marvin- Alright fine but I won't go easy on the teams. I play to win.
-Lapis- Woo
-Allee- Alright. Hey Athena Aurora you want to get in on this action?
-Athena- Sorry but, I am almost done with a really good chapter in my book. (She said on her lounge chair.)
-Aurora- (She was playing with Arthur.) No, Arthur and I are going to play Pegasus. Would you like that Arthur?
-Arthur- Yay ups.
-Aurora- (She put him on her back and acted like a pegasus and flew off.) Nay!
-Allee- Fair enough. Now the teams will consist of Rose and Jasmine. Hemme-Rysse and Zam. Ezekiel and Vitani. And Jade and Jasper.
-Jade- What but I will lose with him on my team.
-Jasper- I object! There is no way I am going to work with the rude klutz.
-Jade- Hey! I am not a klutz.
-Jasper- Oh yah then explain the time you knocked over my experiment and caused an explosion.
-Jade- Hey that was not my fault the pole bolt pole fell off the sticks and onto your lame project.
-Allee- (She blew on her whistle.) Enough this is why you are on the same team. You two are siblings and you must learn to get along. What better way then to team up to win the prize. Of first dibs on the dessert of brownies
-All of the kids- Yay!
-Hailey- When did you make brownies?
-Allee- I didn't, but I can go ask Paige to make them. Watch the kids for me. (She ran off.)
-Hailey- Wait no Allee don't leave me alone.
-Lapis- Come on Hailey let's start.
-Hailey- Ok but you are both wearing goggles
-Allee- Hey Paige.
-Paige- What do you want, Allee?
-Allee- What, I don't want anything wonderful sister.
-Paige- Really, because you have got that look in your eyes that says you do.
-Allee- Fine, can you guys make some brownies for the kids? It is the prize for the winner of the horn toss.
-Amethyst- Horn what?
-Allee- It was Lapis' idea.
-Amethyst- What was?
-Allee- Well it is like dodgeball, but with rings and the object is for Marvin and Lapis to dodge the rings thrown by the teams.
-Paige- What is this safe?
-Allee- Perfectly the rings are rubber. Please you guys look they are having fun. (She pointed to the group of kids and they saw Lapis and Marvin having fun dodging the teams.)
-Amethyst- Wait, you put Jade and Jasper on the same team. That will never work. They can't get along.
-Allee- Oh you would be surprised what happens when you are forced to work together.
-Jasper- Ok look Jade I don't know about you, but I want those brownies so let's try to get along ok.
-Jade- Fine. (They throw the ring. Jade gets the ring on Lapis but Jasper keeps missing.) Jasper stop. Listen you will never get a ringer if you throw over hand. You have to throw like a friz-bee. Watch. (She throws it at Marvin and gets a ring.)
-Jasper- Ok fine I will try. (He threw it at Marvin and it worked.) Hey I did it. Watch out Lapis you're next. (He threw it but she dodged it by flying out of the way.) Hey no one said you could fly.
-Lapis- Technically no one said I couldn't neither.
-Jade- Don't worry we got this.
-Jasper- Yah you're right.
-Amethyst- Aww look at Jade and Jasper they are getting along. (She hugged Allee.) Thank you Allee this was a great idea. Of course we will make the brownies.
-Allee- Sweet. (She ran back to be the ref with Hailey. )
-Will- So Shadow Amethyst is the reckless parent right?
-Shadow- Yep. I am sure you can relate.
-Rachel- Hey I want to play. (She ran over to play.)
-Will- Yep. (They both started laughing.)
-Victoria- (She landed on the ship. With Tak and Skoodge.) What's so funny?
-Will- Ahh geeze will everybody stop scaring me half to death. (He used his inhaler.)
-Victoria- Oh sorry Will. I came to pick up Vitani (She pointed to the spaceship that was hovering above the boat.)
-Amethyst- No wait Victoria you and Vitani should stay for the feast.
-Victoria- Oh I don't know Amethyst I…
-Amethyst- What's wrong?
-Victoria- Well ahh… Can we talk over there? (She pushes Amethyst away.) Look, it is not that I don't want to stay. I do, but things still feel a little awkward between me Will and Paige. I mean. I know they say they forgave me. But I did kill a lot of their fellow humans and threaten their lives and…
-Amethyst- Oh don't worry Vic we put all that behind us.
-Victoria- Really?
-Amethyst- Of course now come on, you can help me and Paige make brownies.
-Victoria- Ok.
-Amethyst- Hey Paige look you and I just got a new baking assistant.
-Paige- Oh Cool. I'll go gather the ingredients. (She said with not much enthusiasm.)
-Tak- Five bucks says this will not go well. (She says to Skoodge.)
-Skoodge- You are on and I think it will work.
Meanwhile Kierra and Max were plotting their revenge.
-Max- So Kierra, how are we going to get Rig back?
-Kierra- Well, I was thinking that we throw a pie in his face.
-Max- Brilliant!
-Kierra- Oh on second thought he might like that.
-Max- Well he is asleep. How about we draw all over his dumb face. (Someone started laughing.)
-Max- Who is laughing? Show yourself. (He said taking out his guns.)
-Starlight- Oh sorry Max, but I did not realize I was listening to amateurs. (She said as she continued to clean herself.)
-Max- (He put his guns away.) If you are so smart. What is your plan?
-Starlight- (She told them her plan.)
-Kierra- I love it.
-Max- Yes, why didn't we think of it?
-Starlight- Because you too may be smart, but you're not clever as a zoola. Now come on. We have work to do. (They walked off.)
-Rose- I almost got him. (She said as she threw her ring. Just then Marvin used his ice as a shield.) Hey that's not fair.
-Marvin- I don't remember Allee saying it was against the rules.
-Rose- But…
-Jasmine- Don't worry Rose- I have a plan. Just throw.
-Rose- Ok. (She threw the ring at Marvin. He put up an ice shield, but Jasmine used her magic to levitate the ring right onto his horn.)
-Marvin- Clever girl.
-Jasmine- Naturally. (They continued with their turn.)
-Zimila- (She walked over to Athena, Aurora, and Arthur.) Hey Athena and Aurora can I ask you a favor?
-Athena- What?
-Aurora- Athena don't say it like that.
-Athena- What I am trying to read?
-Zimila- Don't worry this won't take long. I know what I want to present Marvin as his gift for the wedding.
-Aurora- That is great.
-Athena- What does it have to do with us?
-Aurora- Raula would never let you talk like that if he was around.
-Athena- I know which is why I am savoring this act of rebellion.
-Aurora- I am sorry Great Zimila…
-Zimila- It is ok I like rebels. Now let me tell you my plan. (She whispered her request.)
-Aurora- Aw that is so romantic.
-Athena- And amazing. I am in.
-Zimila- Oh thank you girls. (She hugged them.) Now I need to go talk to Rose and Jasmine.
-Rose- Woo thanks for assisting Jasmine.
-Jasmine- Of course, sis. Now we should really see how Greta is doing. (They walked over to where they left her and she was sleeping.)
-Rose- Aw, she looks so cute.
-Zimila- Hey girls. I need to recruit you and your magic skills for the wedding.
-Jasmine- Really what did you have in mind?
-Rose- Yah question can we go big or small.
-Zimila- Oh trust me I want big.
-Jasmine & Rose- Woo! Tell us your plan.
-Rig- (He was sleeping peacefully when all of a sudden he started levitating off of the lounge chair and over the edge and then over the ocean.) Yum~ No, I want more crêpes. And… (The levitation was deactivated and he fell into the ocean. Big splash.) What just happened? Where are the pastries?
-Starlight, Max, and Kierra- Hahahaha
-Rig- I should have known you were behind this. Oh I am going to make you pay.
-Kierra- Oh~ we are so scared.
-Max- Yah, why don't you fly up here and get us?
-Rig- Don't think I won't. (His jets would not work.) Hey- my jets won't work. What did you do to me?!
-Starlight- Oh, we might have put some dough in your jets while you slept. Don't look so mad you said you wanted pastry. Of course you are not the only one who likes bread.
-Rig- What is that supposed to mean?
-Starlight- Oh you'll find out.
-Rig- Ow hey what hell is going on? (The fish were biting on his feet to try and get the dough.) AHH! FISH ATTACK! (He swam for his life.)
-Starlight- Hahaha take note children, that is a prank.
-Kierra- Remind me to never get on your bad side.
-Hemme-Rysse- What are you three looking at?
-Rig- Help, they won't leave me alone.
-Starlight- A prank gone purr-fectly right.
-Zam- Hahaha good one Starlight.
-Hemme-Rysse- Oh no poor Rig. Shouldn't we help him?
-Kierra- Why he was a jerk all day.
-Hemme-Rysse- Maybe so, but there are fish on Matrixdeamanta that eat metal.
-Kierra- Wait- what!? Starlight, you never mentioned that.
-Starlight- What you said you wanted to get him back. (She said licking her paw.)
-Kierra- Yes, but I did not want him to get eaten.
-Starlight- Fine, party pooper. (She levitated Rig out of the water. And dropped him on the deck.)
-Rig- Thank you. Now would someone get this dough out of my jets!
-Zam- Hahaha!
-Rig- What is so funny.
-Zam- It looks like you have bread shoes. Hahaha
-Hemme-Rysse- Zam stop it is not that funny. (She said laughing under her breath.)
-Vitani- Then why are you giggling.
-Hemme-Rysse- Because it is…a little bit. I admit it. Hahaha!
-Vitani- Hahah maybe we should mass produce the bunshoes
-Zam- Hahaha- stop it V, I am going to die laughing at this rate. Hahaha!
-Hailey- What is going on over here? Oh my Utopia- Rig what happened to you?!
-Rig- Don't ask Hailey, please help.
-Hailey- Don't worry I will. (She brought out her tools and started cleaning.) So I repeat… What happened?
-Ezekiel- Max and Kierra put dough in Rigs jets. Then Startlight levitated Rig into the water while he was sleeping. He woke up, activated his jets and turned the dough into bread.
-Hailey- And you did not try to stop them because…?
-Ezekiel- Two reasons, one I was curious what would happen and two mom says interrupting a prank is unacceptable.
-Hailey- Tak needs to reword her parenting speeches. As for you three what do you have to say for yourselves?
-Max- It was all Starlight's idea.
-Starlight- Yep and I take full credit for how funny it was to watch. Hahaha.
-Hailey- Starlight, Max, Kierra, I expect better from you. (She said just now getting both loafs of bread out of his jets.)
-Kierra- He started it.
-Hailey- Does not matter, you all need to stop this.
-Rig- Never! I will make Starlight the Jerk pay and her evil minions too.
-Rachel- Do you want to go back in the water Rig? (She said with an evil look in her eyes.)
-Rig- No I am sorry- I get it- prank wars are bad- please don't put me back in the water. (He begged on his knees.)
-Rachel- We won't, but there is more to be said.
-Rig- Right. Kierra I am sorry for pranking you today.
-Kierra- I'm sorry too Rig.
-Rig- You should be.
-Mini Moose- (He threw a fish at him.) Meep.
-Rig- Ahh uw fish it is still alive get it off. (He got it off.)
-Rachel- Mini Moose, I saw that.
-Mini Moose- (He flew behind Zim.)
-Rachel- That's better. Max Starlight your turn.
-Max- I'm sorry Rig.
-Starlight- Me too… I guess. If I have to be.
-Rachel- Good now it is my turn. Lapis Marvin you had better bring your a game.
-Lapis- Grandpa should we be afraid.
-Marvin- Oh, very much so.
-Rachel- (She threw the rings and no matter how hard they tried to dodge, Rachel got a perfect score with two rings. Marvin put up a shield and Rachel threw two of her rings so hard that the force broke the ice. Then when she threw the last one Lapis screamed.)
-Lapis- Ahhh! (She destroyed the ring with her horn blast.) Oops, I'm sorry I didn't mean to.
-Rachel- It is ok Lapis, it's just a game. And maybe I got a bit too intense.
-Marvin- You think?
-Lapis- Those rings were not expensive were they?
-Allee- No, you can find them anywhere at a dollar store.
-Lapis- That is a relief.
-Zam- Now! it Zam's turn!
-Hailey- Ok Zam, but this time try not to hurt anybody.
-Zam- Chill, Hailey, Zam does not make the same mistake twice. (He threw his ring and got a ringer this time.) See?
-Hemme-Rysse- (She threw her two rings and got Lapis and Marvin.) Bullzeye
-Zam- (He tossed the ring and missed.) No! Zam was so close! Evil ring, how dare you betray Zam?!
-Allee- Sorry Zam, that is how it works sometimes. Alright- Vitani and Ezekiel you are the last team are you ready. Hey, where did they go?
-Vitani- (She appeared out of nowhere carrying Ezekiel.) Sneak attack. (They threw their rings and got perfect ringers.)
-Ezekiel- Yes!We won!
-Zam- Wait, how did you do that? Zam demands to know.
-Vitani- Used my camo-wings to turn us invisible and then attacked.
-Ezekiel- Yes, it was my strategy. Why was that not allowed?
-Tak- Of course, it was allowed. (She hugged Eziekiel.) Oh I am so proud of my brilliant boy. You did so well.
-Eziekiel- Thanks, mom.
-Hailey- Don't look so glum you guys- you can still have brownies and it is not whether you win or loose it is how you play the game and you all had fun right?
-All the kids- Woo!
-Allee- Great, now how about a book.
-Hailey- No horror books the triplets aren't ready.
-Allee- Relax, I have other books like Warriors. Which are cat books.
-All kids- Yay cats!
-Paige- Amethyst I think something is wrong with the baker, it never turned on.
-Amethyst- What? (She got the machine opened.) Gir?! what are you doing in there?
-Gir- Shh- me and Pinkie are playing hide and seek. (He closed the door.)
-Zim- Gir stupid robot.
-Diva- Gir there you are. (She opened it up and grabbed him.) Now we get to play a new game of my choosing. (She dragged him away.)
-Jason- I don't want to know what game she has in store for him.
-Amethyst- Man…Tthe smeets will be so disappointing and I wanted a brownie too.
-Zim- So did I.
-Victoria- Don't worry you guys I can take care of this. (She took the pan from Amethyst, put it on the table and threw a fireball on it.)
-Paige- Eepp! You burnt them.
-Victoria- No I did not try one. (She gave it to Paige.)
-Paige- Yum. This is so good.
-Amethyst- (She had one.) You are right. But I think we should let the rest of them cool. And Jason- please add the special ingredient to the tea.
-Jason- Don't give me that look Paige, it worked before. (He measured out the right amount and added it to each tea.)
-Victoria- uh…Jason what did you just do?
-Jason- Made this tea into trutha-tea.
-Victoria- Oh… what?
-Jason- It is a creature that's venom makes a person tell the truth. We used it to interrogate Marvin when we first met him and now…
-Paige- Amethyst wants to use it on her smeets to find out why they're having trouble sleeping.
-Victoria- (She turned to Amethyst.) Did you ever stop and think that you should ask… them?
-Paige- That's what I said. Wow I did not think you would be on my side Victoria. Or that you would be so good at cooking. How did you learn to do that trick with your fire powers?
-Victoria- It was not easy. You have to give just the right amount of power too much and you ruin the dish. I learned that the hard way one night when I was mixing chemicals. I blew up the lab. But that is science for you trial and error.
-Will- Oh yah I forgot you were the chemist of your family.
-Victoria- Yah look Will, Paige I am really sorry about how I treated you back then. I mean Will I turned the other cheek when Jess tried to get you killed by the shark. Paige I was the one who invented the potion that turned you into an arachnid. I know you still hate me for that.
-Paige- Victoria we don't hate you.
-Victoria- You don't?
-Will- Of course not. We are friends now.
-Paige- Yep and for what it's worth being an arachnid was not so bad. I loved my plant based powers. The whole experience helped me figure out my true calling. If anything I think the thing that really bothered me is that I was turned without my consent.
-Victoria- Yeah well that was Jess' idea. (She had tears in her eyes.) You know, they were not bad brothers at the beginning. Zack was a little abusive at times but I think it was mostly because he really wanted revenge. Jess was very fun and always wanted to help me when I needed help with my experiments. We did not know how bad of a mistake it was to make that contract with Silvia till it was too late. Now they are gone and I am the last of my kind. Sometimes I feel so… alone.
-Paige- That is not true you have, Vitani.
-Victoria- That is true and I would not trade her for the stars.
-Shadow- I am sorry about Jess but he was going to kill me and…
-Paige- No, I gave you the bullet.
-Zim- Zim is not apologizing for killing Zack.
-Victoria- I don't expect you guys to. I get it. My brothers and I were awful to you. You did what you had to.
-Julie- For what it is worth, I am sorry about your people, Victoria. Tallest Miamoto made his call and…
-Victoria- No It is alright, you let me out of prison.
-Paige- And you helped us defeat Esquire and Kerio. So all is forgiven.
-Will- As we say in the scientific community, sometimes you have to make a lot of mistakes before you obtain the best outcome. And what better outcome is there than friendship.
-Jason- Will, that was so corny.
-Will- What can I say? I am a dad so making dad jokes was inevitable.
-Victoria- Haha.. Thanks, you guys. I needed to hear that. I feel better now.
-Amethyst- You see Victoria I told you they were cool.
-Skoodge- Knew they would work it out. Better go tell Tak that I win. (He walked off.)
-Shadow- I am not surprised. I mean you were the one who threw Diva at us and Diva ate Will and they get along fine.
-Will- Shadow why would you bring that up? I have never gotten over that experience, I just suppressed it.
-Victoria- Again- I am sorry.
-Will- It is ok. Well the food is ready so Amethyst you had better call the kids over.
-Amethyst- Yes, let's get this interrogation- ah, healing process through truthfulness- underway.
