Truth is a drink best served cold
Setting 1 lunch time on the boat.
-Amethyst- Kids come on, food is ready. (All of the kids run to the table and sit down.)
-Aurora- Wow, look at all the yummy food. Thank you Dad!
-Will- I can't take all the credit, you kids did a great job fishing and gathering seaweed.
-Jasper- Thanks Uncle Will. We had a lot of fun. And Allee, the game was super exciting! I even enjoyed being on a team with Jade. Once we started working together better.
-Jade- I have to admit, we did a good job.
-Allee- Thanks, that was the plan all along.
-Zam- Speaking of the game, when do we get brownies?
-Will- After lunch. Everybody knows that.
-Tak- Exactly and you don't get the first one. Ezekiel and Vitani do. Go on my brilliant son, tell them all how you both won.
-Ezekiel- Well, I came up with the idea to use Vitani's wings to make us invisible and then we creeped up on Lapis and Marvin…
-Vitani- For a sneak attack. It was so cool and we got all the rings on their horns.
-Victoria- Oh congratulations you two! That was very well done.
-Vitani- Thanks Mom. By the way, can you warm up this fish- it is kind of cold?
-Victoria- Sure. (She used her fire powers to warm up the fish.)
-Vitani- Thanks, Mom.
-Victoria- I love hearing her call me mom.
-Greta- Caw!
-Rose- Oh, sounds like Greta is hungry. Mom, can I bring her to the table to feed her some fish?
-Paige- Ok, but just as long as you can keep her under control.
-Jasmine- Don't worry we can handle it. (The twins grabbed Greta and brought her back to the table and fed her the food.)
-Will- So that is your class Griffin. How do all these paranormal creatures keep hiding from humanity?
-Rose- You can thank the witches and wizards of the world for that. they keep them well hidden.
-Kierra- Just as long as that bird stays far away from me.
-Rachel- He will, right Rig?
-Rig- What? I learned my lesson.
-Rachel- Sure you did and I imagine that look you just gave Kierra.
-Rig- Well ah… Hey! I think Arthur wants food.
-Arthur- Hungry.
-Athena- Don't worry little bro, here comes the space ship. (She said holding the spoon.)
-Arthur- Yay! (He ate it.) Brownie?
-Athena- No, Arthur you are too young for brownies and…
-Rig- No, I think he means the crumbs on the table leading to Lapis. Did you take some brownies?
-Lapis- No, I did not.
-Amethyst- Then why do you suddenly have freckles?
-Lapis- Well, I- uh… (She drank some of her tea.) Yes! I stole two brownies for me and Marvin. I'm sorry, was that wrong? I mean Marvin and I were targets so we did not have a chance to win.
-Zim- No Lapis, you are not in trouble. I am impressed that no one even saw your ingenious theft.
-Will- Zim, you should not encourage her bad behavior…
-Zim- Silence, filthy human! you are just jealous that she outwitted you.
-Will- So we're back to filthy human…
-Lapis- Mom, am I in trouble?
-Amethyst- No, Lapis, you brought up a good point. In fact why don't we all just give the kids their brownies now.
-Kids-Yay!
-Hailey- But Vitani and Ezekiel you grab next. (They did and then the rest of the kids had their brownies.)
-Lapis- Here Marvin! This is your brownie. (She gave it to him.)
-Marvin- Thank you, Lapis. (He took a bite.) Yum, chocolate chip and almond brownies are the best kind, by far.
-Jade- (She took a sip of her tea.) This tea tastes kind of weird.
-Jasper- (He took some of his.) Tastes fine to me, maybe a little goofy- just like Uncle Will's apron. I mean the joke says "Why does no one ever take the duck scientist seriously? Because he always quacks everybody up." (He said pointing at Will's aprons with a duck dressed in a lab coat.) Don't you think that is a little… corny?
-Aurora- Hey me and Athena got Dad that apron for Father's Day.
-Athena- And we came up with the joke.
-Jasper- Oh sorry I don't know why I said that I like ducks.
-Will- It is ok Jasper.
-Paige- Yeah, we know it is not your fault it-
-Amethyst- Was just a short slip of the tongue.
-Lapis- (She took another sip.) Speaking of short. I always thought it was strange that Uncle Skoodge is the shortest Irken, yet he conquered his planet first and Grandpa Zim never conquered anything. Oh no, why did I say that? I am so sorry Grandpa! Please don't hate me!
-Zim- I could never hate you, Lapis. (He said hugging Lapis.) I did not need to conquer that filthy planet. Being a warrant is the only job worthy of my giant brain meats.
-Tak- Tch, more like ant size.
-Zim- What was that Tak? How dare you say that to the great Zim.
-Jade- Yeah no wart face deserves to say that to him.
-Zim- Haha good one Jade.
-Tak- What no this is a beauty mark.
-Skoodge- Yah Jade apologize to Tak.
-Jade- I'm sorry Tak that just slipped out. Even though I always wondered what it was since having a wart is more of a human thing. Oh I am sorry.
-Zim- Hahah don't be, she deserved it.
-Tak- Oh, just you wait Zim someday you will have to obey me. Because I am the third tallest.

-Tak- That's right I just got the measurement results in today read them and weep. (She showed him her phone.)
-Zim- What no Zim demands a redo. Zim refuses to obey you if anything happens to the tallest.
-Lapis- But don't we want something bad to happen to the tallest I mean, they are awful.
-Skoodge- Well yes we all think that but we can't say it out loud. And Zim the results are final.
-Julie- He's right Zim everything is legit.
-Zim- This is the worst news ever.
-Amethyst- Jason, what is going on? Why are the smeets saying truths that we did not even ask for?
-Jason- I don't know, what kind of tea did you give them?
-Amethyst- Rose tea.
-Jason- That explains it. Trutha's use roses as pheromones it must have enhance the effects of the venom.
-Amethyst- What? Why didn't you tell me that?
-Jason- Sorry you did not tell me you were using rose tea.
-Paige- Yah don't blame Jason Amethyst this was your idea. So you had better ask them the question before they say something worse.
-Amethyst- You are right. Hey smeets why have you three not been sleeping well?
-Jasper- Well we ah…
-Jade- Because we have been having nightmares about Esquire coming back and you turning into Scourge and killing us all.
-Jasper- Jade?! Why! would you say that?
-Jade- I don't know but I'm glad I did. I'm sorry Mom, I never wanted to keep the secret. But these two won the vote and the coin toss.
-Jasper- Hey! You agreed to it and I really did not want Mom and Dad to find out that I melted my dresser.
-Shadow- You did what?
-Jasper- Sorry, Dad but I could not control my powers. I bought a new one…The night after Jade portled into my room.
-Jade- Hey at least I did not blast a hole in my wall like Lapis. Oh! I am sorry Lapis! I did not mean to say that at least you got it fixed…
-Lapis- I stole power BRACELETS FROM GRANDPA ZIM'S VAULT TO KEEP OUR POWERS UNDER CONTROL! (She covered her mouth.)
-Zim- You… were able to get into my vault? That is amazing Lapis. How did you do that? I mean that security is state of the art. Maybe next time I go after an escape convict I should take you along.
-Ametyst- Dad you will not take any of my smeets on a dangerous mission like that.
-Zim- Why not? Clearly Lapis would excel.
-Shadow- No Zim just no.
-Zim- Hmm party pooper.
-Jason- Is this why you wanted all those gymnastic lessons from me?
-Lapis- Yes.
-Paige- Jason, why would you teach her that?
-Jason- I didn't know she would use it for a crime. She's a princess, she is the authority.
-Will- Honestly I am surprised you did not. I mean you used them to sneak into the FBI building. Also I told you encouraging her thievery would come back to bite you in the but some day. Did not expect it to be so soon. Should have known that Zim would like it though.
-Zim- And why not, she is clearly a genius.
-Shadow- Zim, Will stop arguing and smeets why didn't you tell us about this sooner?
-Lapis- We're sorry, Dad. We just did not want to disappoint you. (She flew into his arms and hugged him.)
-Jasper- (He and Jade flew into Amethyst's arms.) We did not mean to keep it from you, Mom. I just did not want you to think I was a coward. I am the big brother. I have to be strong.
-Amethyst- No Jasper it is ok you three are not cowards.. We all make mistakes, remember the dreams Shadow and I told you three about?
-Jade- Yah but you guys were cursed and we are just scared for life right? We are not cursed are we?
-Zim- No, you are not and Esquire is gone for good. (He said as he hugged Jade.)
-Lapis- But that is what you said about Doom and he came back. (She said hugging her dad tight.)
-Shadow- Only because he was still alive inside of me and Amethyst. But there is no way for Esquire to ever come back. We beat him, and there is nothing wrong with you three having nightmares.
-Amethyst- Shadow is right. After I defeated Doom, I had nightmares that he would come back.
-Lapis- You did?
-Amethyst- Absolutely they were very scary.
–Shadow- I dreamed I would hurt your mom and Rachel again.
-Jasper- You did?
-Shadow- Of course,but I got over the dreams because I told Amethyst about them.
-Amethyst- And I told Shadow about my dreams. We worked through them together. Just like we are going to help you three get through this.
-Jasper- Thanks Mom and Dad. We're so sorry.
-Jade- Yeah, We did not mean to cause such trouble today.
-Amethyst- Oh we know that because I slipped thrutha venom in your tea.
-Lapis- What? Why would you do that?
-Amethyst- Because I am your mother and I know what is best for you.
-Lapis- That's… fair, I guess. Does this mean we don't get to go to the wedding?
-Amethyst- No, I would never ground you from the wedding. However, you are grounded for two weeks.
-Jade- That makes sense.
-Hailey- Oh don't look so glum Jade. At least we found out about this before you three crossed the threshold.
-Julie- Very true. I don't even want to think about how hard controlling your powers would be if you three did not get the full 8 hours of sleep. Now we have time to help you get over the fear.
-Hailey- If we can.
-Zimila- Hailey, don't say things like that. Of course they can get over their fears. And it will be in time for the great wedding. I have so many ideas that I can't wait for you all to see. But don't worry I am not telling you anything.
-Marvin- I would not have it any other way. (He said kissing Zimila.)
-Zim- Yuck- Mom, save it for the wedding please.
-Zimila- Oh Zim you know you are excited to have a new dad. (She said, patting him on the head.)
-Zim- Yes Mom but please stop, you are embarrassing Zim and messing up Zim's antenna.
-Tak- Hahaha now that is sweet karma.
-Jasper- Hey don't laugh at my grandpa. (He said as he threw some wasabi right into Tak's mouth.)
-Tak- Ahh that was way too hot.
-Zim- Hahaha nice throw Jasper.
-Jasper- Thanks.
-Tak- (She drank the tea.) Yes, that was a great throw. I am so annoyed that I got a taste of my own medicine. No… why did I say that?
-Jasper- Because that was my tea.
-Tak- Shoot, darn that vile creature.
-Zam- Hahaha now who is karma's victim?
-Hemme-Rysse- Hahaha- yeah that was hilarious.
-Paige- Hahaha I am glad some good came out of this fiasco.
-Lapis- Mom, should we give back the bracelets?
-Amethyst- Well ah…
-Julie- Actually, you three should keep them on till you get over your fears. But be sure to check on your powers everyday. So we know when you are crossing the threshold.
-Jade- Ok, do you think we will be over our fear by then?
-Shadow- Of course you will, everything is going to be fine.
