In this chapter, our heroes will fight Mama.
If they manage to take her down, our heroes have saved Earth. It'll be a safe bet that our heroes won't have to worry about alien invaders for a good long while.
But can they do it?
Kim has done that many times.
I doubt she can take on this giant plant alone though. Even if she is the girl who can do anything.
Just look at the size of the thing!
As a side note, they're making two more seasons of Phineas and Ferb. It's surprising that they're doing that after all these years, but I'm not complaining.
Considering that there was an episode that left with a cliffhanger (the 2nd Dimension episode), I think that's a good idea.
Since they're making two more seasons, I figure that I just might be continuing this crossover fanfic. I think it might be a sequel...though it's up to you whether I should continue this one or not.
Chapter 74: Mother's Day
Just when our heroes thought it was finally over, they had one final threat to deal with.
Mama let out another roar.
Our heroes covered their ears.
Thankfully, Irving's glasses did not shatter.
After all, they would cost a pretty penny to replace.
More than his allowance, that was for sure.
It was a very loud plant, it seemed.
It was rather unusual, since plants weren't known for being noisy.
But this plant was literally out of this world.
Unfortunately, it seemed that Mama was still hungry after eating the Doctor. She was a big eater, it seemed.
And it looked like they were all on the menu.
"How do we take on this thing?" asked Isabella.
"I'm scared!" exclaimed Irving.
"Nobody blames you." answered Baljeet. He was feeling scared too. He never thought he would be in danger of becoming plant food, though Mama decidedly wasn't the only carnivorous plant in existence. There was a book about carnivorous plants that was rather scary, though there wasn't mind control involved.
Even Buford was feeling frightened. He had sweat coming down his face.
Of course, for some strange reason, he happened to be afraid of a little girl with blonde hair. Her name was...Sally something?
"Maybe if we overwater it we can take it down.'' suggested Phineas.
Given how smart he was, it made sense that he knew a thing or two about plants.
Though it was on the fence if he could save the rainforest.
"Maybe. But alien plants are likely different from Earth ones." noted Isabella. After all, was there any plant on Earth that could mind control humans?
To her knowledge, no earth plant grew giant and swallowed people whole.
At least, not unless they had been used by a mad scientist as part of their evil schemes.
Still, it was worth a shot.
Chances are they would need a lot of water to take Mama down, given her big size.
But they could still pull it off if they worked together.
The Fireside Girls immediately pelted the plant with water balloons.
And yes, it was ironic given their name.
"Where's the nearest fire truck?" questioned Baljeet.
"There's one right over there." pointed out Buford.
"Really? That's pretty convenient." remarked the boy.
"I'm starting to wonder if I should have come with Phineas and Ferb on this adventure." noted Irving as he stared at the frightening plant. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
But now he was in danger of being eaten by a plant.
Mama proceeded to lift the fire truck and smash it with telekinesis.
"Uh-oh! It looks like eating the Doctor caused Mama to inherit her powers!" exclaimed Phineas.
By that logic, it would obtain the powers of whoever it ate.
That would cause for concern.
But just as when it looked like our heroes had won, Mama decided that she would eat more victims.
She could use the pick-me-up. Especially since the battle had worn her out.
This time she decided to grab the two Lorwardians that had fallen.
Conquesta gasped.
"I never thought we would be plant food." remarked Conkerer.
Mama swallowed the two Lorwardians whole.
As soon as she consumed Conquesta and Conkerer, Mama grew even bigger.
"This cannot be good." spoke Phineas.
"Most definitely." agreed Ferb.
No doubt that she had grown stronger as well.
It appeared that she had absorbed their power.
Which would most likely mean it could use the Lorwardians' superpowers.
Could they still win?
Well, one thing was for sure.
They couldn't throw in the towel.
Not when there was so much at stake.
Mama attempted to hit the heroes with a giant vine.
Which they narrowly avoided.
"I'm starting to wonder if I should run home to my mother.' questioned Irving.
'But if you run away, you won't be able to help us fight the plant monster!" exclaimed Isabella.
"True." nodded the boy.
"Hang in there!" exclaimed Vivian.
"Oh man, I'm starting to worry if we're going to be next." remarked Atrosis as she looked at the giant plant that was threatening Earth.
She did have superpowers herself after all. And so did Shego.
Now that she thought of it, didn't Kim Possible gain a superpower herself?
She actually had it once before, but being the generous girl she was, she decided to give it back to Hego.
It seemed her kind act had been rewarded.
Now that Mother had absorbed the two Lorwardians, she could use ice and electrical attacks.
She breathed ice on our heroes, leaving behind snow in the process.
Atrosis was careful to avoid it. She knew that ice and rubber didn't mix.
Fortunately for Shego she had little to worry about.
She blasted Mama with plasma, causing her to roar.
'This snow reminds me of when we tried creating winter in summer." remarked Phineas. Personally he thought it was one of their best ideas. Perhaps they could try doing it in reverse during the winter?
"That was sure fun." nodded Baljeet.
'I wish I had been there to see it!' exclaimed Irving.
"Maybe if we manage to stop the invasion, we can try creating winter in summer again." noted Phineas.
Alternatively, they could try visiting Santa.
Phineas and Ferb were on the nice list...though Candace thought that they should be on the naughty list. She did make a song about how evil they were. Though if she wanted evil, maybe she should check out Dr. Drakken or Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Mama then followed by shooting lightning.
"Aah!" exclaimed Ron.
One of the lightning bolts had almost hit him.
It was a good thing he was so fast on his feet.
Fortunately for Atrosis, she didn't need to dodge that attack.
She attempted to slam into Mama, but she swatted her away.
"Oof!" exclaimed the sidekick of Professor Dementor.
As before, our heroes tried overwatering it.
They could try setting it on fire...but then they would have to put the fire out afterwards.
So it looked like they were going to be using water either way.
Mother attempted to swallow our heroes by sucking them in.
'It's a good thing I made a bomb out of a teddy bear.' remarked Wade.
'You made a bomb out of a teddy bear?" asked Phineas. That didn't seem like a good use of a children's toy.
"Well, it did smell kind of funny.' admitted the boy.
Wade quickly tossed it into Mama's mouth.
The bomb inevitably exploded.
Mama was covered in soot.
"That's gonna leave a remark." remarked Phineas.
Wade had designed a powerful bomb, it seemed.
Dr. Doofenshmirtz hit Mama with a giant water balloon he fired from a catapult.
It reminded him of what he tried to do when he went on vacation.
Mama let out another roar and collapsed on the ground.
"Did we win?" asked Baljeet.
Mama spat out everyone that she had consumed.
This included the Super Super Big Doctor and her two Lorwardian cohorts.
"We're alive?" asked Conquesta.
Conkerer shrugged.
It was a miracle, to be sure.
"Man, did my plan to conquer the galaxy backfire on me!" exclaimed the Super Super Big Doctor. It was lucky that Mama had spat her out.
Seeking redemption was looking to be more and more of a good idea.
Afterwards, Mama shrank in size.
She had been reduced to a small flower.
It seemed that the crisis was finally over.
Now the world was safe.
They wouldn't have to worry about being mind controlled, that was for sure.
"We did it! We saved the world!" cheered Phineas.
It certainly was something to be proud of. Though in their babysitter's case, she had done that before. Small wonder she happened to have friends all across the world.
Since the plant was no longer attacking everyone, Dr. Drakken decided to pick it up.
Perhaps he could do research with it.
Kim looked at Dr. Drakken.
"You're not planning to use it to conquer the world, are you?" asked the cheerleader who had saved the world more times than she could count.
If so, she was going to have to stop him. Like she always did.
She had probably gone up against Dr. Drakken a hundred times by now. He was her arch-foe. after all.
Although, she had been encountering Professor Dementor a lot lately. It seemed that his female sidekick had a lot of fans. Hence the reason why she ended up staying in the fanfic.
"After all the trouble the plant caused? I think not!" exclaimed Dr. Drakken. Conquering the world and destroying the world were two different things. Though perhaps there were villains that believed that destroying the world was conquering it.
Perhaps the flower would make his hideout smell nicer.
"I guess we should head back to our planet." noted Conquesta.
They were going to have to try to conquer the planet again later.
Hopefully the Super Super Big Doctor had a better idea than the plant that had gone amok.
She didn't want to be eaten again.
Suddenly, a message droid flew towards them.
"Hmm?" asked Conkerer.
The news was dire.
"Terrible news! The Lovpeacians have seized our planet!" exclaimed the messenger droid.
It was a shocking turn of events, to be sure.
"What?! No!" bellowed Conquesta.
It looked as if the Lorwardians' days of conquering planets were over. The Lovpeacians had won the war.
No doubt the rest of the galaxy would be pleased to hear that.
Meanwhile, Super Super Big Doctor was surrounded by the aliens that she had formerly enslaved.
They were none too pleased with her.
"Hello?" asked the Doctor nervously.
"You're under arrest, Super Super Big-can we just call you Doctor?" questioned the Feebla-ootian.
He didn't know why she had a long name.
Maybe they should ask her parents about it.
"I suppose I was going to have to own up to my actions sooner or later." admitted the Doctor to herself. This was a part of redemption.
Her evil actions had an impact on a lot of people, after all. An entire planet, in fact. The Super Super Big Doctor might have been dethroned, but her wrongdoings weren't going to be forgotten.
She was taken back to Feebla-oot, where she was sentenced...well, to be imprisoned.
Perhaps if she was lucky she would get some time off for her good behavior.
Ironically, she would be locked up in the dungeon that she used to imprison her brothers. It would be a good way to remind her of what she had done to them.
At Dementor's evil lair, the former and Atrosis were discussing recent events.
"I have to admit, it feels ironic saving the world instead of conquering it." remarked Atrosis. It made her wonder if they were turning a new leaf. Though if her boss still wanted to take over the world, she would be happy to help him.
"I know. I guess zis is how Dr. Drakken felt when he saved ze world." noted Professor Dementor. He didn't think that was too long ago. Now that he thought of it, didn't he use his plant formula to take down their tripods?
He had to admit, it was quite impressive.
Perhaps since they had saved the world, it was indeed possible for them to take over the world. Even with Kim Possible always thwarting him along with Dr. Drakken.
But he didn't have any plans for that at the moment.
Granted, he was bound to think of one eventually.
Or maybe Atrosis would. Her advice was pretty helpful, after all.
"I wish I thought of using a mind control plant to control ze planet." remarked Professor Dementor. It was a brilliant idea. Dr. Drakken had thought of a similar idea...but it had comically backfired.
He would have loved to see Dr. Drakken with flower petals surrounding his head. Maybe he could have Atrosis take pictures of it.
"Are you sure? The plant eventually turned on the Doctor..." questioned Atrosis. She didn't want Dementor to suffer a similar fate. He couldn't take over the world if he became plant food.
"Oh, right. Still, you have to admit, it did have some pretty impressive results!" exclaimed the professor.
She nodded. Who would have thought that a single plant would be enough to conquer an entire planet?
Dementor wondered if he could be successful like the Doctor was...though he also wondered if he would meet a similar fate to her. He didn't look forward to spending his time in a dungeon. What if there were rats in there?
He had broken out of the asylum before, but still.
"I have to admit, the Doctor kind of reminds me of myself." remarked Atrosis.
"How so?" asked Professor Dementor.
"She was evil, but friendly." noted the woman.
It made her wonder why she decided to use a mind control plant to get what she wanted. With her charm, she could probably become a leader without resorting to mind control.
She had made friends with Candace very quickly, after all. Aside from The Doctor using mind control to subjugate a planet, the two had a lot in common. It was a shame that the Doctor decided to be evil.
Though in the Doctor's defense, she had felt embittered by the fact that she was in her brothers' shadow. That was a contributing factor.
"You don't have ze sarcastic personality of Dr. Drakken's sidekick, zat's for sure." remarked Professor Dementor. Had she ever made a sarcastic remark in her lifetime?
If so, he wondered what it was.
"Yeah...I think I'll be fighting her again sooner or later." noted Atrosis. It was evil vs. evil...though perhaps Atrosis wasn't as evil as Shego was. She hadn't been a superhero in her lifetime, but still.
It was interesting fighting somebody who had superpowers like she did.
"Good work, Agent P. I think the world would be safe for quite a while. You still have Dr. Doofenshmirtz to deal with, of course. But for now, I think you can take a break from being heroic." noted Major Monogram.
He wondered if Dr. Doofenshmirtz would become a good guy someday. He was aware that Dr. Doofenshmirtz hadn't had a good childhood. Perhaps somebody should counsel him over it.
On the other hand, he himself happened to have a good childhood. In no small part thanks to his owners Phineas and Ferb.
"I'm so proud of you, Agent P!" exclaimed Carl. He knew that there was a reason that Agent P was one of OWCA's top agents.
Agent P saluted Major Monogram, as he always did when he was about to go on a mission.
It would be nice to spend time with Phineas and Ferb, even if he didn't do much when he was off duty.
Though at the same time, he wouldn't mind fighting Dr. Doofenshmirtz again.
Fighting evil was what he did best.
But it seemed likely Dr. Doofenshmirtz had seen enough evil for the time being. He had met an alien that had enslaved an entire planet...even if she had decided to change her ways.
Perhaps he would be spending some of his time with his daughter Vanessa, rather than fighting a platypus that was a secret agent.
She would probably appreciate it.
Granted, she had tried to bust him by proving to his ex-wife that he was evil.
But she hadn't had any luck with that.
Irving considered his latest journey with Phineas and Ferb to be rather exciting.
Who would have thought that he would be fighting aliens?
Luckily, the planet was safe from them.
Feebla-oot was no longer under the Super Super Big Doctor's control as well.
"Now that we've saved the world from the SSBD, what do you think we should do next?" asked Baljeet.
"To be honest, I'm not sure what we're going to do after today." remarked Phineas.
It was hard to top saving the world from aliens.
Even Kim Possible had to admit that was pretty impressive.
But he was sure that he was going to think of something. Phineas and Ferb were nothing but creative.
After all, was his catchphrase not "Ferb, I know what we're going to do today!"?
Of course, his other catchphrase was "Hey, where's Perry?"
He would like to know where Perry always wandered off to.
"You think aliens will attack Earth again? It seems to be a magnet for aliens these days." questioned Ron. He wondered how many races of aliens they were. It seemed that they came in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
"Yeah..." nodded Rufus.
"I don't think we'll have to worry about the Lorwardians at least. Meap told me that the Lovpeacians' invasion of Lorwardia was a success." noted Kim. Chances are they wouldn't have to be concerned about tripods attacking Earth anytime soon.
Ron sighed in relief. He didn't want anything to happen to Kim. It was lucky his mystical monkey power had kicked in when Warhok and Warmonga were about to make a trophy out of her.
"Besides, we now know that not aliens are evil." spoke the teenager.
"True.' nodded Ron. It was relieving to know that not all aliens were out to conquer their planet. He had seen multiple movies where Earth had been invaded by aliens...like the ones that collected people's heads.
Phineas and Ferb had told him about that one.
There was more than Meap than meets the eye...(hence the title of his introductory episode), but he was every bit as innocent as he looked.
Everyone went back home to relax after a long day of saving the world.
It looked as if the world would be able to rest in peace once again.
Somebody else was probably going to try to take over the world...
...but they would cross the bridge when they came to it.
I think that wraps up this arc. Should I make a sequel to this fanfic or keep going with this one? If I keep going I might end up reaching the 100 chapter mark. Wouldn't that be a milestone?
I had an idea for an arc based on So The Drama. Dr. Drakken won't be the main villain though. I have someone else in mind. You can probably guess who if you've been reading this fanfic from start to finish.
It will also be based on Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension. Nobody said that it couldn't be based off of two different movies. And yes, that means 2nd Dimension Doofenshmirtz will appear. Ironically enough, both Dr. Doofenshmirtzs decided to become good...though 2nd Dimension Doofenshmirtz ended up becoming evil again.
I could have done that movie first (since it was the first Phineas and Ferb movie), but somebody wanted to see the Doctor. So I figured I would include her in this fanfic.
I might feature her later on, but she won't be a bad guy. I don't think she'll break out of prison seeing as she wishes to atone for her actions.
