The Umbran House
ESKK: Another day and another chapter. Sorry for taking so long now let's get this started.
(Start Purgatory Boiling Isles)
It's been a couple days since the Boiling Rain as Lucina was currently in Purgatory. Currently she was fighting off Angels that were trying to snuff her out. Lucina fired her guns left and right taking out the foes as they came. As Lucina fought them off, she kicked one in the face before filling it with bullets before jumping off. Sliding across the ground Lucina glared at the Angels who were falling like flies around her the delinquent charged in and with her wicked weave slammed her fist into another Angel and splattering it all over the wall.
She then jumped back and performed a Wicked Weave kick to another Affinity before going for her next move. She then slammed her boots on the ground and summoned and Iron Maiden. She smirked before using her Wicked Weave the drag the Angel into it before closing it on her enemy. The Ground was being littered by halos as Lucina dealt sever damage to her enemies.
She then used her Wicked Weave to crush an Angel between the two fists by clapping her hands together. Lucina then smirked as she looked at the last two Angels on sight, Grace and Glory. They came after her and Lucina for her part dodged the attack and used Witch Time. That spell takes a lot out of her, so she only uses it during battle. She took out her sword and sliced through the two Angels and shot them both in the head ending their lives. The Angels exploded into a flurry of blood and halos that Lucina began to gather up.
"Piece of cake." Lucina said as she sheathed her sword and did a gun twirl before holstering her guns. She then opened a portal and returned to the Boiling Isles in Chaos before heading over to Eda's stand. But as Lucina walked, she then noticed something off about today and that was the fact the entire marketplace was barren and empty.
(Later at Eda's Stand)
"Hey Luz, hey hag, hey cubone." Lucina said using the nicknames she assigned to the two.
"Still not over that crown trick, are you?" Eda asked glaring at Lucina who smiled and shrugged. "Anyway, do you have any idea what's going on and why everyone is missing?" Eda asked as she looked to Lucina wanting answers.
"I was hoping you could tell me." Lucina said as she looked to Eda wanting answers.
Luz, Lucina something amazing is happening today." Gus was heard as he, Willow, and Winnoa approached the stand.
"Gus, Willow, Winnoa; hey." Luz greeted the pair as Lucina gave them the sideways peace sign in greeting.
"It's the annual convention student witches get to see all the types of covens before they're placed in one." Willow said with a smile of excitement on her face. "There's even a mystery guest this year." Willow added pointing to the part of the poster that detailed this.
"A Job fair for Witches!" Luz cried out in excitement as Lucina laughed to this.
"Oh, I remember my first job fair." Lucina said recalling that so long ago.
"You mean the one that ended up with the entire Gymnasium being condemned when you set off a bomb from a makeshift science experiment that contaminated the place and to this day has yet to fully recover?" Luz asked as Lucina smiled recalling the memory.
(Flashback)
Lucina was seen laughing maniacally as the people fled from the Gym while a green slime substance oozed out of the doors and smoke could be seen outside. "Run fools run and suffer!" Lucina yelled as she was behind the boarder that had a sign detailing, she was not allowed to cross it.
(End Flashback)
"Yeah, I know good times." Lucina said as Eda looked to Lucina in shock.
"Nice." Winnoa said with a smile on her face seeing Lucina for what she was, a walking force of Chaos.
"How'd you get away with it?" Eda asked wanting to hear that story.
"Easy, lots of careful planning, set up, and timing." Lucina said with a smirk towards Eda. Truth was Lucina had the prank set up days in advance so when it went off no one could connect her to it. She had a solid alibi and she had been banned from the Job Fair after what happened the previous year. Yes, they went on and on how missing such an even was a horrible punishment and she'd be missing out on all the fun that comes with deciding on her career. Fuck that Lucina knew that these adults were out of touch because while she was banned from the site, she had a great day which got better with her prank. They still talk of the Great Slime Bomb of Bonesburough that they hesitate to have any events in there.
"Can we go?" Luz asked as she leaned up to Eda.
"Absolutely not." Eda said and thus Luz whined as she slid down to the ground. "I never joined a Coven for a reason. Sure, it's like a fun club for witches but your also giving up your magical independence to be part of a crooked system." Eda said slamming her fist down to the table. "Eh but no judgement." Eda said when she saw Willow and Gus look upset.
"Now I really want to go." Lucina said as they all saw her digging through the merchandise and loading it into her bag.
"Why does that scare me?" Luz asked as she lifted her head from under the table with a skeptical look at her big sister. Lucina simply smiled a huge grin at Luz suggesting that acts of chaos were afoot.
"In any case." Eda said stepping back into the topic. "I haven't been to one since we were girls." Eda and thus Lucina and Luz perked up.
"We? Who the hell is we?" Lucina asked as Eda stuttered at this.
"You have a mysterious past now we got to go." Luz said wanting to go to the convention.
"No." Eda said and thus Luz smirked knowing the secret weapon to use.
"Alright you leave me no choice." Luz said and in response Lucina put her earplugs back on to ignore what King was about to do.
"You shall not shan't doeth no more harm" Azura callethed out," King read out the book as he walk over to Eda as her eyes looked in pain as she hear the story as she said, "So Flowery, So awful."
Lucina can't hear what was being said but she can read Eda's face as she said to her, "You know Eda the only way for it to stop if you agree to go, unless you want to spend the rest of the day hearing 50 more chapters?"
Eda try to escape as she open up the door to Earth as she walk through it while Luz quickly throw King through it before it closed up as the doorway closed up behind them, as Lucina counted from three with her fingers as when zero hits, the door open up again as Eda came back with King on her head as she yells out, "Stop it! Stop it! I will literally do anything, just stop this!"
Lucina remove her ear plugs as she said, "Then to the witch convention, here we go."
Later at the Convention
"Ahh!" Eda went as she rub her eyes while willow clap her hands a bit, Luz seem excited to see this Witch Convention, King just stood by, while Lucina just smile seeing Eda's reaction as she said to her, "You know this would happen sooner or later anyways."
"I'm feeling a bit excited for all of this," Winnoa said as the demon wonder what will happen today, as if it goes well... she may give Lucina a break for a while as Eda was trying to pull up her hood as King was hanging off of her as she said, "Gotta keep a low Profile."
Luz Help Eda out by pushing in Eda's thick bushy hair as she said to her, "IS this Cowl really Necessary?
"Do you think all my wanted posters are for Petty Theft?" Eda ask with Lucina said, "Yes." With that as Luz got Eda's hair pushed into the Cowl, all sort of random and no doubt stolen good fell out of her hair as Eda went on saying as she started to put all the stuff she stolen back into her hair a bit, "Well Partly. But the big wham is I disobeyed the law and refused to join a coven. If I'm seen, I could go to jail... again."
"Maybe this informative event will inspire you to join a coven," Willow said as she held up one of Eda's wanted posters as Eda made a small magic circle that made Willow's hood to glow and cause to to get pulled over her head.
"Let's just get this over with," Eda said as soon enough with that everyone walks into the building that for Lucina, it reminded her of those building that comic-cons were held in, as they soon walk in and saw many stalls as now Lucian can say it definitely reminded of a Comic-Con as Luz went, "Whoa. Was I even alive before now?"
Lucina grab Luz arm and put her hand to her pulse as she nodded a bit as she went 'Hu-hmm!' as she soon said, "Nope I think you died and became a zombie."
"quit it!" Luz said as she pull her arms away from her sister as Gus point out other nine banisters above as he said, "Those are the main nine covens, but there are hundreds of other ones you can join."
Soon enough the group walk down the way looking at each small as they were look like they were selling something or giving away stuff too as Willow points out the different covens as she said, "There's flower coven, Artist Coven, Big Dog coven, Small cat coven."
"Being Dumb Coven?" Lucina question as she just said it randomly as Willow points it out saying, "That will be the Boob coven, or the Dumb-Dumb coven as everyone calls it."
looking over to the Dumb-dumb coven as there was a lot of weird stuff going on as one with one person hitting another person with a shovel who was wearing a giant diaper, while a monster looking guy with many feet said, "I can't find my foot."
"What's the different between a Puck? I don't know, what is the different between a Puck? I already told you I don't know, stop asking," a guy who seem to be talking with himself said to himself, as the monsters guy with the many feet look down and smile as he said while reaching for one of his feet, "Oh there it is, I found my foot. Oh no wait, it's someone else's foot."
"What the fuck?" Lucina said as Luz points out to her, "Swear word." Lucina wave her off as she said to her, "Yeah-yeah I'll put another one in the swear jar when we get back, but seriously What the... F?"
"There are a lot of weird covens, anyways there also the tiniest cat Coven" Willow started off saying until Eda groan in annoyance as Willow whispers to Luz, "Also the Grumpy coven."
"What was that?" Eda said as she look like she was in a threatening mood as the group ran off from her leaving her alone next to a cyclone witch stall in the Cooking Coven, then someone came up to her as they said to her Eda, "Uh, excuse me, Ma'am, but you look rather familiar."
The guy look over to the wanted poster nearby as Eda said, "Ahh, no I don't. Distraction Spell!" She pull out a small bag of Hex-mix down to the floor before she ran off as the guy was about to pick up the bag of snack, until Eda came back, pull the guy's hood over his head, grab the bag of snacks, and ran off again and join back with the group.
Back with the group Lucina smiled with her hand in her pockets as she and Winnoa were basically the responsible adults for the time being with Eda. "Heh reminds of the job fair." Lucina said as she looked at the convention.
"Lucina, you promised." Luz warned as she knew the damage her sister caused to the Job Fair. The Janitor was still in therapy due to PTSD induced spasms.
"I won't and you know they haven't caught me yet." Lucina said with a smirk on her face.
"Seriously what did she do?" Gus asked a bit fearfully as Lucina then smiled at the kid.
"Nothing you can prove." Lucina said before giving off a maniacal laugh.
"Oh, what's that?" Luz asked pointing to something nearby.
"Hey, it's that nose twerp." Lucina said causing Luz to elbow her sister.
"That's the construction coven one of the main nine." Winnoa said with a bored tone just before the main in a hard hat lifted up a mass of brooks and wood which all flew up before falling down to form a house. "They use power Glyphs to increase their strength." The elder witch said as they saw the man put a sigil sticker on the nasal person.
The little guy then roared in fury feeling the power boost. "I am the destroyer of worlds!" He yelled destroying everything in her path while throwing the old man to the sky.
"Dayuum." Lucina praised as she saw what happened.
"Dayuum." A transparent blue copy of Lucina repeated as she stepped out of the Umbran Punk.
"The fuck!?" Lucina gasped as Luz saw it as well.
"Ah, you've been taking in by the allure of the Illusionist Coven." Gus said as Lucina glared at it. "We like to magic with a hint of showmanship." Gus said as he poofed away and appeared nearby with a bow.
"That sounds great... by the way which one of you dick heads made the clone?" Lucina said a threat clear in her voice.
"Lucina." Luz said as Lucina smiled.
"Easy I was kidding baby sister they know it right." Lucina said as the two older ones nodded with a hint of fear.
"This place is disgusting." Madama Obscura said as she got Lucina's attention.
"Oh, I almost forgot you were there." Lucina said with a tired sigh as she heard her infernal contact demon.
"You, gest but this place this system is an afront to those of us in Inferno who embody the aspects of the mystic arts." Obscura said as she found the scene to be sickening to her.
"Hey Eda how come you never joined a coven?" Luz asked as she looked to Eda curious about this.
"Watch closely Luz." Eda said as both Noceda sisters paid close attention. "When you join a coven all your other magic is sealed away." Eda said as a student had a sigil placed on his arm. "From now on, that kid will only be able to make illusions." Eda explained as Lucina had a thought. "Since I never joined a coven, I can do every kind of magic." Eda boasted as she summoned a fireball in one hand and a water ball in the other. "That's why I'm the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles." Eda said as she continued to walk forward.
"That is debatable." Obscura voiced as she had seen many witches in her time and most of them were many times stronger then Eda.
"Ah in the Boiling Isles you are powerful." A new voice was heard. Looking to the source Lucina smiled a bit when she saw Baron had appeared. "But beyond the isles I dare say there are those whose power far exceeds you own Owl Lady." Baron spoke before taking off his hat and bowing to the group. "Pardon my intrusion but I simply had to have taken view of this gathering with my own eyes." Baron said and then Luz saw her sister do something she had never done before.
"Baron it's you again." Lucina greeted as she was glad that Baron was here.
"Ah lady Lucina the Umbran Witch." Baron greeted taking Lucina's hand into his own. "A pleasure to see you once more." He greeted before kissing her hand causing Lucina to giggle a bit.
But then Lucina regained herself and went back to her bad girl persona. "I mean, sup." Lucina greeted as Luz began to smile mischievously.
"Ok flower talker whoever you are." Eda began but then Baron cut her off.
"Oh, pardon my rudeness." Baron began and thus got down to it. "I am Baron an adventurer and explorer of the unknown." Baron introduced himself before smiling and then presenting his right arm and a lack of sigil. "And much like yourself a wild witch." Baron said and thus Eda smirked at the new arrival.
"Well not often I see a friendly face." Eda said but was on edge of the sweet talker.
"Do I know you?" King asked as he walked up to Baron. "Something about you is familiar." King said as he looked at Baron.
"Oh, a most curious creature you are." Baron said as he looked upon King. "Perhaps a new breed of Demon no that would be far too obvious, maybe your something more." Baron said as he looked upon King studying him and poked his horn.
"Hey, knock it off I am the king of demons!" King announced but Baron chuckled to this.
"A King of Demons you say." Baron said but sounded skeptical. "No that seems far too simple." He said disregarding Kings boast which got him upset. "Something about you is far too unique to be a simple king." Baron said as he spoke in a way suggesting that he knew more. "Regardless." Baron broke off as he stood before the group. "I had only come for a most brief of visits but perhaps we might cross paths again, lady Noceda." Baron said as Lucina smiled to the man but kept her aloof air.
"Yeah, we'll see." Lucina said and thus Baron smiled and began to leave.
"Then fare the well." Baron said as he took his leave of them.
"Alright bye." Lucina said smiling just as Luz was moving in with a smug smile on her sister. Without even looking Lucina was already scowling. "Don't." Lucina warned ready to go off on her sister.
"Oh, come on, sis I mean you're making some lovey dovey eyes." Luz began as Lucina growled.
"Stop." Lucina warned ready to bonk her sister.
"He's good looking, and apparently your type." She added as Lucina got angry.
"I'm warning you." Lucina went on ready to unleash.
"He hit all the right marks so..." Luz trailed off which Lucina knew what was next. "Lucina's got a boyfriend!" Luz teased and that did it. The elder sister proceeded to bonk her sister on the head, but Luz was not deterred. "So, you going to ask him out right?" Luz teased as Lucina then noticed something.
"Holly shit is that an Azura Coven!?" Lucina cried as Luz then changed gears.
"Really where?!" Luz asked looking for it only to be smacked upside the head by Lucina. "Ok I admit I walked into that one." Luz said with a defeated tone as they left while King stood there.
"Let that be a lesson for you Willow." Winnoa said with a bored tone as Willow nodded.
"Noted." Willow said as she followed after her sister and friends.
"Boy, am I glad I'm an only child." Gus said glad he didn't have an older sibling to do what Lucina and Winnoa did nor a younger sibling to do what Luz did.
As the group started to walk off with King following, while looked upset by that Baron guy a bit, no doubt due to what he said to him, but he swear the guy looked familiar to him, but his thoughts were interrupted when someone grab his shoulder as he said, "Wha-
He turn to see a witch who had stopped him for a moment as they said to him, "The tea leaves foretells that this will lead you to your destiny."
The witch held up a pen as she spin it in her hand a bit before putting it in Kind's hands as it had the words "Fortune Tellers" written on it as King said, "Destiny? Huh! I'm not paying for-
"It's free," the fortune teller witch said while she backs away looking at King as he said, "Are you bestowing gifts upon me? Yes! I accept your offering! The king of demon is back!"
With the group
With Luz, Lucina, Eda, and the others soon arrived at a Coven area that has a show going on as Luz points it out, "That panel looks popular."
"It's the emperor's coven!" Gus said as he gasp a bit too as he look to Willow and ask, "Do you think they'll sigh my forehead?"
"Only one way to find out!" Willow said as she and Gus ran ahead as Winnoa rush after her little sister as she calls out, "Hold on Willow, don't rush ahead!"
Luz was about to follow after then but notice Eda and Lucina wasn't following behind as she ask them, "Are you two coming?"
"No way," Eda said as she wave her hand to this as she went on saying, "Of all the covens, they're the worst. I'll wait out here."
For Lucina she didn't say a word, she just looks at the Emperor's coven as she sense something off with them but didn't say a word as Luz went on saying, "I got it, Eda. Covens: Bad. Individualism: Good. But I'm still figuring this world out, so I'm going to go in there and make up my own mind, okay?"
"Hold on, I'll join you," Lucina said as she came up to her little sister as she put a hand on her as she said, "Just in case some creep tries to forcefully make you join a coven, its freedom of choice, right?"
"Yeah!" Luz said with Lucina smile as she made that up to stick close to her little sister as this emperor's coven seem too good to be true itself.
Eda just watches them walk into the panel as Eda soon hear someone speaks about her as they said, "I just saw her. She's over there. I think that's her!"
The guy from before was talking to one of the guards as he pointed Eda out as the guard turn to Eda as her eyes widen a bit as she said, "Ah-oh. Luz, Lucina, wait up!"
She went into the Panel and caught up with the sisters as well and hopefully avoid the guard by blending in with the crowd itself as the three of them found some seats as Eda came to sit down next to them as she said, "All right, let see this mess."
"Something happen?" Lucian ask as Eda said to her, "I rather not talk about it right now"
Soon enough the lights dim down with everyone going silent before music blares out and a light from the stage came forth as Principal Bump from the school appear on stage with a spotlight shining on him as he drew a magic circle in the air as he then summoned forth a mic with wings on it as he started speaking in it saying, "Hello, Bonesborough! Students ask me all the time, "Principal Bump, what's the height of magical achievement?"
"Is it this?" some random student said as he drew a magic circle making his head glow, as it soon starts to inflate like a balloon but seem to have gotten too big and head as his neck crack a bit and his head fell on top of another student who was struggling to get free from the enlarge head that was on him as Bump looks at the kid and said, "Wow. I failed you as a principal."
Lucian snorted a bit to this as she said, "No doubt." Bump didn't hear her thankfully as he took the mic from the air and said to everyone, "It's being selected to join the best of the best. And there are none better than the jewel of the coven system and the enforcers of his will, the emperor's coven."
With that several members of the Emperor's coven came forth as they seem to have teleported onto the stage, with Lucian hear closely what the old guy said and didn't like what she heard the part being 'the enforcers of his will' part while Luz just went "Whoa" to this as she look to her friends as they call her out as they were pointing to Gus's forehead as it seem someone sighed it.
"Feast your eyes on this elite force, each member handpicked to help usher in a new age of controlled magic," Bump said as each member of the emperor's coven drew a magic circle and unleashed a different magic spell which combine in the air that exploded like fireworks with confetti coming forth as well as Eda lean towards another person and whisper to them, "When does that elite force get here?" she then slap her leg and laughs at her own joke while the person next to her seem uncomfortable as they scoop away.
"Members of the emperor's coven have access to all- Yes, all forms of magic. Ooh. Aah!" Bump said as he was looking like he was impressed by this, but he wasn't done as he went on saying, "But! only the best can ascend these ranks. Some day that could be one of you!"
He suddenly pointed out to a pair of familiar green and purple-ish hair sisters as Amity squeal a bit to this as she thought the Principal was meaning them as her sister didn't look amused by this while Eda just laughs at this as Lucian and Luz notice the sisters as Luz went, "Huh?"
"Oh crap," Lucina said as she notice Amelie was here as well, while back on stage as the three members of the emperor's coven vanish from the stage as Bump went on with announcement as he said, "And now I'm pleased to introduce the esteemed leader of this coven and this year mystery guest. You know her, you love her! Lilith!"
"Huh?" Eda went as she heard the name as the crowd went "Ooh" to this as suddenly above as the image of a raven bird is seen in glowing blue light that seem to be on a branch of sorts before it took off towards the stage and landed next to Bump as the raven crouch a bit before disbursing out light that surrounded the stage as within the raven down was a hooded woman with a bird's mask on her face as she spread her arms out with her mask remove itself and dismissing the bird itself reviling herself as the crowd cheer out for her while Eda was left... stun to this.
"Someone you know?" Lucina asked as she elbowed Eda a bit.
"You can say that." Eda said as she was at a loss for words.
Luz gasped when she heard this all excited. "Mysterious past." Luz said wondering what was in store for her.
"Thank you all." Lilith began as she banished her mask and cloak. "It wasn't easy for me to rise to the top. I also started from humble beginnings." Lilith said as Lucina rolled her eyes.
"Here we go, public speaker with a premade speech." Lucina said hearing it all before.
"Now I have the highest honor of enforcing the Emperor's will. So be more, The Emperors Coven awaits you." Lilith said summoning a massive raven as a show of her magic. During this Eda was glaring at Lilith which Lucina noted despite her own glare at the Blight sisters.
(Later Outside)
"Well, that sucked." Lucina said as she walked out with her hands in her pocket.
"You said it." Eda as she walked with Lucina.
"Eda, Lucina where are you two going?" Luz asked as she grabbed Eda and Lucina by their arms.
"I'm going home to grow some weed." Lucina said making it clear they both needed it.
"Ok first, that's wrong." Luz said as Lucina gave the, I don't care, look. "And second we haven't even taken the quiz to determine our coven type." Luz said holding the question booklet in her hand.
"Laser or bullets?" Lucina asked Eda who didn't even respond and just fired a laser through the book.
"Stay with the kids." Eda said as Lucina was left there.
"What but..." Lucina began but Eda was already gone. "Dammit." Lucina cursed and thus they began to walk off only for Luz to yelp when she bumped into someone.
"Hey, watch where your," Amity began as she and her sister looked to see Luz and Lucina. "Oh, it's you, Willows abomination thing." Amity said as Lucina had to hold herself back from harming them... for now.
"Ok for the record we're humans, not slime blobs and second don't think I forgot you tried to kill my sister." Lucina said glaring at Amity.
"And don't think I forgot what you put my sister through last week." Amilia said pushing Lucina away from Amity.
"Great so I got the little bitch." Lucina said gesturing to Amity. "And her keeper the skank." Lucina said switching over to Amelia.
"Don't forget I won that fight." Amelia said as Lucina glared at her.
"Only because you caught me off guard skank." Lucina countered as the two glared at each other.
"Um Lucina maybe you and your new friend should." Luz began hoping to defuse this situation.
"STAY OUT OF IT!" Both, Umbran Witches yelled causing Luz to jump back.
"Look you two can't be here." Amity said as she split Lucina and Amelia apart so Lucina was standing with Luz again. "This place is for Witches only." Amity said unknowingly tempting Lucina to bring up that Witches were normally woman but let it be.
"Hey, I'll have you know that my sister is an Umbran Witch." Luz began as she looked to Lucina with a smile only to get a glare. "And secondly I'm training to be a witch I'm receiving magic lessons from a powerful witch and ferocious demon." Luz said as Amelia then glared behind the pair.
"So, I guess that's your demon over there." Amelia said as she pointed to King.
Looking King was seen walking towards them causing Lucina to facepalm. "Cupcakes in my tummy-tum makes a king say yummy-yum." King said as he made his way over to the group. King was dressed in merchandise from the Covens as two chefs were following him.
"So will you join the bakers coven?" The chef that was following King asked as King was ready to bite down on the cupcake.
After King ate the cupcake, he gave his answer. "Hmm nope." King responded before running off towards the Noceda sisters. "Hey Luz, Lucina, look at all these offerings." King said only to yelp when he tripped dropping his cupcake.
"Way to go cubone." Lucina said and just as Luz was about to get Kings treat Amity stepped on it.
"Oops that was an accident." Amity taunted and thus Lucina felt something snap in her brain.
"Why are you being so mean, Amity?" Luz asked as Amelia was quiet.
"Because you, your pet, and your delinquent are giving witches-in-training a bad name." Amity said and thus Lucina had enough.
"Ok I've had just about enough of you." Lucina said as she stood up and glared at the pair. "It's one thing to mess with my friend but no one says my sister can't be what she wants to be except for me." Lucina said as Amelia scoffed to this.
"She was just stating facts, without an infernal contract or a bile sack she's just as magical as blade of grass." Amelia said as Lucina then grabbed Amelia by the collar of her shirt. "Do it I dare you." Amelia said as she had a gun to Lucina's midsection.
"Alright, I'll take a page out of Luz's book, we challenge you to a witches duel!" Lucina said as she pointed at Amelia.
"Yeah!" Luz added as she stood with her sister. Of course, the challenge got everyone who heard them to gasp as things were clearly escalating.
Amelia and Amity looked to each other before walking towards Lucina and Luz. "We accept." Amelia said looking forward to humiliating Lucina again.
"Let's set the terms for this duel, shall we?" Amity said as she was ready to fight.
"One, if I win, you apologize to King for squashing his cupcake." Luz said as she looked to Amity.
"And two you both admit you're a couple of skank ass bitches." Lucina said as she knew what Luz would have said instead and thus had changed it.
"Fine by me. But when I win, not only do you have to tell the whole convention you're not a witch you, have to stop training forever." Amity said as this surprised Lucina.
"Do it, Luz, for my honor!" King called out as Obscura was ready for a fight.
"Fine! Let's shake on it." Luz said offering her hand to Amity.
Amity responded by drawing a circle around Luz's hand and then shaking it causing a glow to resonate between the hands. "The everlasting oath is sealed." Amity said and thus Lucina was surprised by this.
She then looked to Amelia who raised a brow. "What? If I made that deal Inferno will be after both of our asses." Amelia said as she knew how quick to anger an Infernal was. "Meet back inside the theater in one hour." Amelia said and thus she left leaving the sisters to their own devices.
"Fine we'll show you we're the sort of witches you don't fuck with." Lucina said making it clear she planned to win this.
"Ok that's not fine." Lucina said as she and Luz looked at the younger Noceda's right hand.
"What have we done?" Luz asked as she was worried for what may come next for them. All the while King ate his cupcake off of the floor ignoring what was going on now.
"Luz..." Lucina began as she got her sisters attention. "I'm going to do it again." Lucina said and for a moment Luz was confused but then went wide eyed in horror while Lucina walked off to gather supplies.
"No wait Lucina you promised!" Luz cried out as she knew that Lucina was going to do her greatest prank again. When Lucina ignored her Luz chased after her big sister. "Lucina wait think about what you're doing!" Luz cried knowing that if Lucina does what she's about to do, all Hell will break loose... again.
"I gotta do it Luz, they asked for it." Lucina said making it clear she was going for the nuclear option now.
"Come on Lucina think about this, mom is still getting dirty glares after that stunt." Luz said as whatever Lucina had done and was going to do was certainly not going to do no one any good for several years.
(Meanwhile with Eda)
Eda was making her way through the crowds as she tried to keep a low profile. But despite her best efforts and years of experience as a con artist Eda was unable to avoid the one looking for her. "Sister?" Came the voice of Lilith. Eda looked and saw Lilith there signing autographs from young aspiring magic users. "It's been so long since I've seen you last." Lilith said finishing up the last autograph and making her way over to Eda. "What are you wearing?" Lilith asked while making her way over to Eda with the kids following. "You look like some sort of trash collected. Oh right. You are." Lilith taunted with the kids following after her.
"Oh, Lily, I had to see the leader of the Emperors Coven in action." Eda began as she had her own comeback ready. "You know when we were kids Lilith was so excited to see the Emperor's Coven, she peed a little." Eda said to the kids with Lilith causing Lilith to blush in embarrassment.
"That's all for today." Lilith said as she ushed the children away. Once they were gone Lilith focused her attention back onto Eda. "You shouldn't even be here. You're a wanted criminal." Lilith said trying to figure out why Eda was even here. "Unless..." Lilith trailed off as an idea occurred to her. With a gasp Lilith began to smile at Eda for what she was assuming. "I don't believe it. You're here to join the Emperor's Coven." Lilith said taking Eda's hands in hers.
But, in response to this Eda began to laugh as Lilith got the wrong idea. "In your dreams." Eda said between laughs as Lilith then glared at Eda.
"You think being coven-less makes you so much smarter than everyone else." Lilith began as she was scolding Eda. "But while you run from the law like a degenerate, I'm mentoring the next generation of powerful witch students into the world." Lilith said boasting of her own accomplishments.
"Well, I have a student two of them in fact." Eda said as she was trying to get one over on Lilith. "And I bet she can wipe the floor with any of your prissy little blue bloods." Eda countered as she glared at Lilith.
"Is that a challenge?" Lilith said getting up in Eda's face.
"Oh, It's a promise." Eda said refusing to backdown from Lilith.
Just then Luz appeared as she was in a panic. "Eda, I need your help. Lucina got angry and made us challenge Amity and Amelia to a witch's duel, I think she's going to kill me all the way dead, and Lucina is about to make a repeat of her prank on a wide scale." Luz said as she had lost Lucina when the girl entered Purgatory to better grab what she needed.
"Mm. It seems your students has met my strongest of protege's." Lilith said with a smirk on her face.
"And look at her ears, is she human?" Lilith asked looking at Luz ears. "Is the other one also human?" Lilith asked before laughing a bit. "Alright Edalyn." Lilith began while making a circle banishing all of Eda's wanted posters. "For one day you don't have to hide from the law because I want to see how good a teacher you really are." Lilith said as she began to walk away.
"Come on kid we need to prepare for bloodshed." Eda said but Luz had other ideas.
"Can we do that while we're looking for Lucina?" Luz asked as she was very much scared of what Lucina will do. "If she has everything, she needs this entire Convention is going to be a victim of Lucina's chaos." Luz said knowing her sister was going to do it.
"Oh, how bad can it be?" Eda asked but really wanted to see what Lucina was cooking up.
(Meanwhile with Lucina)
Lucina was in a backroom as she was wearing a mask over her mouth, chemistry goggles, and rubber gloves as the Umbran Witch had a full chemistry set in front of her. "I can't believe they had this stuff." Lucina said as she did her work.
"What is it?" Winnoa asked as she had gotten done digging a hole under the floor for Lucina.
"This my dear plant girl, is a little recipe I learn in chemistry class." Lucina said as she continued to work. Next to her was a machine that she planned to load her mixture into as she smiled a under her mask. "It's a combination of Hydrogen peroxide and saturated potassium iodide." Lucina said as she let out a small maniacal laugh. "The fact you guys have enough of it for what I'm about to do is even better." Lucina said as she had raided Eda's stores for this stuff.
"What does it do?" Winnoa asked and thus Lucina smirked to this.
"Oh, nothing much." Lucina said in a tone suggesting Winnoa did not want to know what Lucina was about to do. "Just make sure you, Willow, and Gus are out of here after the fight." Lucina said as she began to prime the sequence and load the chemicals into it. "You Blights want to fuck with a Noceda then you better have the balls for it." Lucina said as she took off the gear and replaced it with a hard hat. "Now keep Luz from figuring me out." Lucina said as she then turned on the light. "I got a nuisance to make of myself." Lucina said as she then jumped into the hole with her machine in hand not even waiting for Winnoa to comment.
"I'm both scared of what she is going to do and strangely interested to see where this will go." Winnoa said while looking down the hole Lucina crawled into.
(Back with Luz and Eda)
Eda suddenly put on a headband as she was going to prepare Luz for her Witch's duel with the blight sisters as Eda said to Luz, "All right, Luz. Let's start your training."
"Shouldn't we find Lucina first?" Luz said as Eda wave her hand a bit as she said to her youngest student, "Oh she'll be alright, she can handle herself well, it's you that need to prepare for your duel, now I'm coming to you with a blast of fire. What do you do?"
Luz pull up her kitty hoody over her head and lay down on the ground as Eda realize what was wrong as she said, "Oh, that's right. I haven't taught you many spells, huh?"
The young Noceda shake her head no to this as Eda soon said, "Boy, I hope you didn't make an everlasting Oath to stop learning magic or anything. You'll be toast." With that Eda just rub some salt in the wound as Luz looked worry."
"I-is there a glowing hand thing that happens, or uh..." Luz said as before she could finish Amity came calling out saying, "Abomination rise."
Luz look over to see Lilith with Amity and her sister as Amity summon forth her abomination, which was looking very small at the moment, but didn't mean it was weak as the thing took off its own head and throw it in a witch baker's face that feel down with the big nose guy took the baker and throw him across the room while powering up like he was going super Saiyan, before Amelia summon forth a wicket weaver from a magic portal and smack the little nose guy with ease before removing the tag that was on him so they won't cause anymore needless destruction and chaos.
"Oh boy," Eda said as she saw Luz may be in trouble and that is just from Amity, while Amelia has full control of her powers well as Luz said, "I can't believe I'm gonna have to stop learning magic!"
"Listen to me Luz. We are not going to let those snobs win that easy! We are not going to let them win at all. I've got an idea," Eda said as if Eda brain grew or her hair was that thick as her headband suddenly rips and breaks off her head, as whatever idea she had knew it could win the duel and also, she still believe Lucina can handle herself... she hoped.
Just then a new voice was heard that got their attention. "Hola Cobronas." Lucina greeted as she was dusting herself off.
"YOU!" Luz yelled and jumped at Lucina. "Where did you hide it, how long do we have!?" Luz yelled knowing that Lucina must have set it up already.
"What?" Eda asked as Luz then looked to Eda.
"That prank she did, she's doing it again." Luz warned as Eda smiled to this.
"No way I finally get to see the noodle incident." Eda said as Luz was shocked and scared.
"Yeap we just need to finish up the fight and then BOOM." Lucina boasted as she looked to Luz.
"We'll never be able to show our faces again." Luz bemoaned knowing that if they don't find Lucina's device, they were all going to be banned from ever coming bac. "At least mom isn't here to find out." Luz said as this could only be topped by Lucina's Mondo Stink Bomb incident when Lucina was a Freshman in High School.
(Later at the arena)
In arena where the Emperor's coven was shown was the area where the duel will take place at with Lilith announced to everyone currently in the audience as she stood with her two students, "Beloved citizens, the Emperor's coven proudly presents an impromptu demonstration of the sort of witches we seek every year. Introducing Amity Blight and Amelia Blight."
The crowd cheer out for them with a guy with a form finger that says, 'Amity #1" with another guy with a sign that says, 'We Love you, Amelia!' while the form finger guy said, "Woo Amity!"
"Versus..." Lilith continue announcing as she point over to Eda's side as Lucina was the only one showing standing next to Eda as she notice her sister hiding behind Eda as she pulls her out as Lilith said, "A couple of human girls."
Lucina flips off Lilith for that with the crowd went 'Ehh?' with one then said, "humans?"
"Humans can't do magic," a small witch said as a pigs face witch said, "They aren't Amity or Amelia." Suddenly a gun shot was heard as the tip of his foam finger was shot off as it came from Lucina who held up her gun with the tip of it smoking as she blew on it showing she wasn't going to take any Bull shit as Luz said as she shake Eda a bit, "Eda, sis? what am I going to do?"
"Calm down. Do you see those mounds?" Eda said as she points them out as the sisters looks at them as Eda went on saying, "Get either of those sisters to land on one of those and she'll set off magic traps?"
"The kind that blows up or the kind that turns them into a frog?" Lucina question as Eda looks at her and then scoffed before she' then said, "No one on the Isles goes around turning people into frogs, we turn them into toads, but I didn't set any of those up, so it's mostly spikes or blowing up, so watch it."
"That's cheating!" Luz said to Eda as she said to her, "Nobody will know. to all eyes up there it'll look like you're performing magic. Just trust me."
"But I know in my heart!" Luz said as her sister smack her upside the head a bit as Lucina said to her, "Just do it Luz. You're better off going with Eda's plan anyways. For me, I have a score to settle with skank #2"
Looking at Amelia as she was preparing herself to fight as well as she got all of her guns ready to fight with, as much Lucina wanted to stop by the gates of hell to pick up a few things, she could only work with what she has at the moment as she inspect her own guns as she said, "I maybe the only one that can take on that bitch. Just stick with Eda plan… and you may live long enough to either win or for me to get you out of trouble."
The screaming bell went off and when it was heard both Lucina and Amelia went at each other head on. They clashed with their guns going off looking like a mixture of kung fu and gunslinging. Punches were met with gun shots, kicks were met with gunshots, and both Witches had the goal to beat the other. Parting ways again they fired at each other while moving to the side jumping and weaving to avoid each other's bullets. They eventually met at a halfway point, charged at each other, and passed by the other. Luz and Amity saw for a moment as a gash appeared on Lucina's worn green jacket, but at the same time a tear came at the side of Amelia's shirt.
Lucina then charged at Amelia and turned into a puma to attack. But while she did this Amelia jumped back and transformed into a bird to avoid Lucina's attack. Lucina flipped over and returned to her human form before she opened fire upon Amelia once more. They clashed again as they went for the attack before both landed on the ground. Amelia glared at Lucina and felt something was off, not with Lucina but with herself. Seemingly unaware to Amelia there was something attached to the back of her neck. The two then went on the attack once more with the sound of tearing fabric being heard.
Meanwhile back over with Luz and Amity the pair saw their elder sisters fighting before going back to her own foe. "Well while the big girls handle their own thing." Amity said while cracking her knuckles ready to fight. "Abomination rise!" Amity called out as she drew the circle and made her abomination rise up. But Amity was then shocked however when her Abomination rise five times its normal size.
"Wow." Amelia said from her battle only to avoid another attack from Lucina who went after her. The two witches continued to do battle intent on snuffing each other out and claim victory.
"Show me what you got, human!" Amity taunted as she smirked at Luz.
"I'm not good under pressure!" Luz cried out as she ran away from the massive slime monster who tried to stomp down on her. The Abomination in response removed its head and proceeded to throw it at Luz. Luz managed to avoid the attack but soon found herself pushed against the wall like a cornered animal.
Eda saw this as she began to get worried for Luz. The massive Abomination came close on Luz who saw the mound of dirt knowing the trap that laid within. Luz then shielded herself as the Abomination stepped on it causing a blaze of fire to shoot upward from it burning it.
When Amity saw this, she glared at Luz wanting answers. "How did you do that!?" Amity demanded as she glared at Luz.
"I uh." Luz began but then cried out in shock when stray bullets nearly hit her. The source of it was none other than the battle between Lucina and Amelia as they continued their fight. Lucina and Amelia avoided each other's attacks but had soon gotten to using their Wicked Weaves to start sending punches at each other. The arms of their respective Infernal Contracts collided at blinding speed as the impacts caused the air around them to ripple from the impacts.
"How did you learn to do most of this?" Amelia asked as the two parted from each other.
"I'm a quick study, especially in the heat of the moment!" Lucina called out before going on the attack again. Bullets were flying all over as the two Umbran Witches were really going at it almost like they truly wanted to kill the other. The battle had been progressing this way both sides seemingly matched up as Lucina used Witch Time every chance she could. But that power worked both ways as Amelia also used Witch Time to her full advantage.
The two charged at each other trading gunshots before Amelia weaved by and wrapped her legs around Lucina's head. She then proceeded to flip her over and toss the elder Noceda Sister to the ground before topping it off with a Wicked Weave kick. Lucina hit the ground hard and the fact they had yet to land on any mounds was nothing short of a miracle. As Amelia was coming back down, she was blindsided by a Wicked Weave that delivered a right hook sending Amelia crashing to the wall.
From the smoke Lucina got up and spat out some blood while glaring at Amelia. Amelia got out of her crater while she glared back at Lucina both sides intent of snuffing out the other. "Oh, did the princess ruin her dress?" Lucina taunted as Amelia scoffed to that.
"Like your one to talk rags." Amelia retorted and in turn Lucina saw her own clothing were trashed. "But let me fix my bit." Amelia said as she then to the shock of many tore off her ruined clothing. All eyes were on her for a moment but then to their shock her hair grew from her head and covered her in a new outfit. Many would argue that Amelia was dressed more like a dominatrix right now as the outfit had two scarfs that went from her arms. Another thing to note was that her hair was not naturally green and thus as her outfit was formed her roots covered her entire form contrasting with her skin tone.
Lucina was surprised by this and then rolled her eyes. "Fuck it." She said and in turn tore her out outfit off. It worked like the wicked weave and thanks to this Amelia's outfit looked more like military camo. From her shoulders the two sashes of hair formed giving it more of a scarf like look. Another thing to note was that Lucina had her arms bare looking like a woman of the armed forces. "You're not the only one who can make an outfit, only I can do it better!" Amelia called out and in turn the two Umbra Witches went at it again. Firing their guns and fighting each other like mortal enemies they did battle with rage and fury clear inside them.
(Meanwhile over with Willow, Gus, and Winnoa)
The trio watched as Luz ran away from Amity while Lucina and Amelia continued to duke it out. Bullets flew and spells boomed and through it all these three continued to bear witness to it. "I love offerings!" King was heard as he arrived at the fight scene. "What did I miss?" King asked looking between the three.
"Luz and Lucina are in a Witch's Dual." Willow said shocked over what she was seeing.
"But at this point it's bound to escalate with Lucina and Amelia." Winnoa said making it clear that trouble was upon them.
(Back to the battle)
Lucina and Amelia glared at each other as it was time to cut loose. "PDI BARMA!" Lucina invoked as she did a small spin of the Sabbath and summoned her demon. Her hair receded back to a bikini size and shot out towards a portal. From a second Portal Madama Obscura rose from it.
"PDI BARMA!" Amelia responded and performed her own infernal summoning. Her hair did the same as Lucina's as it shot to a portal, she summoned causing a second to form. Form the second Portal an infernal demon the same size as Obscura rose ready to fight. They were dressed similar to each other but while Obscura was Owl like this new demoness was raven like. This new Infernal was known only as:
Madama Frigga Corrupter of Desire
Obscura and Frigga then went at each other as the fight had escalated this. "Ay, Dios Mio!" Luz cried out as she and Amity's fight had been cut off when the two demons rose from Inferno. They began to duke it out their clash even more titanic then when it was just the Wicked Weave's in use. This was how true demons did battle as the Infernals were destroying everything around them taking out several of Eda's traps in their clash.
On the ground Lucina and Amelia continued to fight it out as they fired their guns off with the barrels at each other. The bullets collided and sent both witches flying back from the blast. Demons did not care for their surroundings for them there was only the victor and the loser. Obscura blocked a shot and forced it back before kicking Frigga back with her heels. Frigga stumbled from it but held her ground regardless and countered attacked by rushing Obscura. Obscura was pushed into the stands forcing the observers to flee from it before they could be crushed.
"Holy cow, this is going to far." Amity gasped as she saw the battle was destroying the stadium.
"Lucina please." Luz begged as she was scared... no she was terrified of what was going on. Whatever kind of Witch that Lucina had become, it was making Luz second guess her desire to be a witch. Up from the stands King was knocked over from the chaos and was falling down the stairs. On the stage Lucina and Amelia were fighting with Obscura and Frigga doing the same.
"Stop." Amity begged as she saw what was going on. King fell down the steps losing some of the merchandise he had collected.
"Please stop." Luz went on as the fight kept going on. Boulders and rubble were falling as even Eda saw that things had gone too far.
"WEH!" King was heard as he landed on a mound of dirt and in turn caused spikes to shoot out of the ground. Unfortunately, the spot was too close to the battle between the witches and their demon contract holders. While King's merchandise may have saved him Luz was wide eyed as Obscura was about to fall onto the spikes in question.
"KING!" Luz cried out and thus something happened. The roof broke apart as something shot in and bashed Obscura away from King. Everyone was wide eyed by this as even King was shocked. Standing over King after moving Obscura and destroying the spikes was a large creature with wings on its back, black fur around its body, what appeared to be a large sash around his waist that covered his tail. It was noted that he bore a striking resemblance to King only he was bigger than King.
The skull faced new arrival looked at King who gulped a bit at what he saw. "Are you ok?" He asked and thus King nodded to him. "Good." He said and from the looks of it, Frigga was about to stomp down on him. Snarling the new arrival roared out and blocked the kick before pushing back and zooming through the battle to Luz. Luiz was caught off guard by this as the new arrival then handed King over to him. "Watch him." He said before looking to the demons.
"Sure." Luz said with a stutter before she saw the two go after Lucina and Amelia.
"ENOUGH!" The new arrival roared out and in turn slammed the two Umbran Witches into the wall with his massive, clawed hands. Obscura and Frigga were about to attack only for the new arrival to turn around and let out a mighty roar causing the two to fall over and be dragged back into Inferno after being knocked out.
"W-what?!" Lucina asked as she noted the creature was huffing a bit out of breath.
"Calm down and sit down." the creature snarled glaring at them as Lucina noted that it looked like an older and angrier King. He then let go of them as he began to walk off.
"Hey!" King cried out as he regained his composure. But instead of waiting the creature jumped to the wall at blinding speed before zooming up pillars before leaving the same way he came in. King just sat there confused as to what had just happened seeing as this was the first time, he had met anyone who looked at him.
As everything began to calm down Lilith stepped up shocked and amazed over what had happened. "That was..." Lilith began but Eda cut her off.
"Have you lost your mind!?" Eda yelled as she looked directly at Lucina.
"I ask myself that every day." Lucina said dusting herself off.
"Don't get snippy, look at this!" Eda yelled gesturing to the destruction Lucina and Amelia had caused. "How can you be so irresponsible!?" Eda yelled as she looked at Lucina while Luz got flashbacks of her mom yelling at Lucina for getting into trouble.
"Oh, I'm irresponsible that's rich coming from you, Owl Lady." Lucina responded but Eda held her ground.
"I'm not denying that but when I cause damage, I don't get innocent people involved if it can be helped and certainly not in a way that could kill someone!" Eda said as she had lines, she would not cross, and Lucina had almost crossed those lines.
Lilith looked ready to intervene but even she found herself in a similar situation with Amelia. "What in heavens name were you thinking?!" Lilith yelled at Amelia as both elder girls were being lectured too big time.
"She started it!" Amelia defended as Lucina was the one to initially summon the demon.
"And I'll finish it!" Lucina yelled but Eda stepped in.
"Your focus is here young lady!" Eda countered as clearly Lucina had issues. "You could have killed someone, you almost killed King!" Eda yelled as Luz held King nearby. "What if that other guy didn't step in when he did or worse you lost control." Eda said and then realized something. "Oh, Titan I sound like mom." Eda said realizing what was happening.
"Oh, so when your cheating we can roll but when I'm fully invested in winning its bad." Lucina said as Eda was losing her cool.
"It's how you went about it that's the issue." Eda said gesturing to the destruction around them.
"Wait you cheated?" Lilith asked but then Amelia cut in.
"Can't cheat us if we're doing the same?" Amelia said as she walked to her sister and then reached behind her neck. Then to Amity and Lilith's shock Amelia tore off two power glyphs.
"Lilith?!" Eda began but then saw Lucina sneaking away. "Hey hold it!" Eda yelled as she grabbed Lucina by the ear. Amity stood there in shock watching Lilith go off on Amelia and Eda go off on Lucina before she ran off.
"Amity, wait!" Luz cried out and chased after Amity hoping she was ok.
(Later over with Luz)
Luz left the venue as she tried to look for Amity but didn't see her in the area at first. The venue behind her was cleared out but so far, the panic seemed more or less contained. But Luz focused on trying to find the missing Blight Sister. But turning her head Luz soon saw a shadowed corner and there Amity was sitting in a fetal position while crying.
Walking over to Amity Luz wanted to make things right. "Amity, I'm sorry." Luz said trying to make Amity feel better.
"Seriously? Just leave me alone." Amity said refusing to hear Luz out.
"I didn't mean for any of that to happen to either of you." Luz said knowing her sister had a bad habit of taking things too far. "I didn't even want my sister to do what she did to you embarrassing you." Luz said but Amity then shot up.
"That's all either of you ever do, first at school and now this!" Amity said shooting up making her displeasure known to Luz. "You made me look like a fool in front of the Emperor's Coven. My future." Amity said as she looked at Luz blaming her for this. "You think it's so easy to be a witch. I have been working my whole life to get to the top." Amity shouted before getting down to it. "You lost. You cheated. Say it. Say you're not a witch." Amity said pointing an accusing finger at Luz's face.
"I'm not a witch." Luz admitted with a sad tone in her voice. She then sat down and pulled out a notepad before drawing the Light Glyph on it. She then tapped it and thus the paper turned into a ball of light that hovered in her hand. "But I'm training hard to be one." Luz said as she knew Lucina was refusing to share with her how to become an Umbran Witch.
(Back with Eda and Lilith)
Getting everything squared away Lucina and Amelia were sent off... separately to avoid any further confrontation. Though the glare that the pair sent each other showed they were not letting this slide. "So... what now?" Lilith asked as she saw the two Umbran walk off.
"Call it a draw?" Eda asked as she looked to her sister.
"Yeah, probably for the best." Lilith said as they both had a problem student now. "I'll admit I was surprised when I first saw you today." Lilith said with a sad look on her face. "But I must confess I never pegged you to be the responsible one." Lilith admitted as she saw how Eda gave that tongue lashing to Lucina.
"She reminds me of a younger me... and after this I might have a bit more respect for you and mom later." Eda said realizing if dealing with Lucina was like dealing with Eda then she owed a few people an apology... NOT.
"We should probably go, before Lucina and Amelia cross paths again." Lilith said as she realized that the two problem girls were currently without supervision.
"Right... see you later." Eda said and thus she took her leave of Lilith.
(Back with Luz and Amity)
At the same time Amity saw the ball of light she scoffed it off. "That's nothing. A child could do a light spell." Amity said as she looked away while Luz cancelled the spell. "But I've never seen it cast like that." Amity added while looking back to Luz.
"It doesn't come naturally to me like it does for you, so I've had to improvise." Luz said holding her notepad.
Amity then sighed and in turn drew a circle and stuck her hand through it. She then took Luz's hand and thus the Witch Oath glow as seen before it vanished. "The Oath is unbound." Amity said before getting up and walking away.
"Did it work? Can I still learn magic?" Luz asked with concern in her voice causing Amity to stop.
"Humans have no magical ability." Amity began as she looked away from Luz. "But I doubt that'll stop you." Amity said before leaving to go find Amelia.
"Oye Luz." Lucina was heard as she walked up to her sister with King riding in a tote bag.
"Hey sis." Luz said with a smile on her face.
"Look about what happened." Lucina began knowing where this was going.
"Lucina... do you think I can be a witch?" Luz asked with a sad tone.
"I think you can... but I don't want you to be one." Lucina admitted as this caused Luz to look at her sister. "Escucha hermana, I became a witch because I thought selling my soul to have power to get us to safety was a good idea." Lucina said as she explained things. "But thanks to that, my ass is one a one-way ticket to hell when I die, and no amount of good deeds will change that." Lucina said which got Luz sad. "But doesn't matter what I think or what I want... you just gotta do you." Lucina said which made Luz smiled at her sister.
"So does that mean you'll help me." Luz began but Lucina cut her off.
"Don't push it." Lucina said making it clear Luz would NOT be an Umbran Witch.
"Hey kids." Eda was heard when she walked in. "Good news my sister is letting us off with a warning, so we don't have to pay for damages." Eda said and in turn Luz was reminded.
"Well speaking of all things got sorted so... how about you hit the abort button on your prank?" Luz asked to Lucina who gave her younger sister a strange look.
"Abort button? Luz, I don't do aborts if I do something I commit." Lucina said and thus it was clear what was to happen.
"Wait... you don't mean?" Eda began with a bit of excitement.
"RUN!" Luz cried out and thus she ran for the exit with Lucina in tow and Eda following behind.
(Under the floorboards)
The timer Lucina had set was flashing red and withing a few more beeps the red turned green. Thus, the system activated and released the return of Lucina's greatest prank to date. What came next was a large amount of foam and as it built up so too did the pressure as it sought an escape route from its prison.
(On the surface)
The center of the convention saw the floor blast apart as it came out of nowhere. A geyser of foam shot outward and began to flood the entire center. Everyone began to panic as they ran for the exits, but the foam filled the room to quickly to stop it. Soon the floor was covered but the foam kept rising up getting all the way to the roof above. Every room, every stall, nothing was safe from the foam fury of Lucina's prank.
Soon the entire convention center was filled and needed an escape which was provided for by the doors and windows. What came next would go down in the history of the boiling isles as the biggest mystery known to man.
(Outside the Convention Center)
Eda, Luz, and Lucina all watched as soon enough the windows shattered and the doors burst open releasing all the foam inside it. They had managed to get to the high grounds as the streets around was covered din foam curtesy of Lucina's prank. Lucina and Eda were laughing at it as Luz just stared at it in horror recalling the last time Lucina did it.
"Kid this almost makes up for what you did in that fight." Eda said praising Lucina as they watched what Lucina did. "Hell, if you were a Hexside student they'd have to name the detention hall after you." Eda added as Lucina bowed to her audience.
"Dios Mio." Luz moaned as she grabbed her face with the memories of Lucina's prank letting loose. Then what followed was Lilith's roar of fury and in turn Eda flew off with Luz while Lucina went into Purgatory to avoid being blamed for this, not like they can prove it.
(Meanwhile with the creature)
The creature was jumping between rooftops as it made its way to the closest hiding spot it could find. Once it got to an alleyway it hid behind a few dumpsters as it growled and snarled. Soon enough the shadow of it was seen as it shrunk and reformed. Soon the creature was human size and began to walk out revealing it to be Baron.
"Well, that was most certainly an adventure." Baron said as he fanned himself with his hat. "But now I best make myself scarce, less several undesirables catch my scent." Baron said and thus began to take his leave of the alleyway and into the main street. Already he could hear the whispers of what had happened and then some. But first he must see Rodin to help him hide out for a bit longer.
