Hey everyone! Here's the second chapter of the Power of Forgiveness Part two! This one was a little hard to write because I wanted to add something special to Carla. I really hope you'll like this one. Enjoy!
Mateo has been training Victor and Carla in being wizards, but he and Carla has a private session since she is the strongest wizard of the Delgados.
They were doing practice wizard battles against each other and since both of them were highly skilled they both succeeded neck and neck.
"Well that's a tie again." said Mateo who was panting from the fighting. You doing really good.
"Thanks, although I almost had you there." Carla joked.
"Hey I would've won if I hadn't stumbled in the bush" Mateo grinned. "Besides, I was just going easy on you." Mateo grinned.
"That's what you said the last five times." said Carla.
"Well I just warming up...those last five times. said Mateo
Carla chuckled as she was being grateful for Mateo's mentoring. "Alright teasing aside, I'm glad I'm getting the help."
"I have to say your magic skills are improving." said Mateo.
"Yep, I do have the gift. I get it from my…" Carla paused herself. She never wants to compare herself to a certain someone who destroyed her entire world. "nevermind."
Mateo felt awkward at that moment. "Okay, uh...let's just go through the basics one more time, and see if you got it all down."
"Okay" said Carla.
Mateo suddenly noticed something magical coming from Carla "Is that dark magic coming from your hand?"
Carla noticed it right away as well. "What?!"
Suddenly her old malvago tamborita came to her hand as she held her wizard tamborita in her other hand colors of yellow and purple started flowing all around her
"What is this? I've never been able to control this kind of power!" Carla said.
Mateo was amazed at what he saw. "It's amazing! Somehow you're able to control light and dark magic."
"Well this is new." said Carla.
She played with her drumwand a bit unknowingly sent her tamborita flying bouncing around wall to wall then right back at her when she caught it. "Wow I didn't know I could do that!"
"We need to tell Elena about this." said Mateo.
"Good idea." said Carla.
...
Elena was surprised and bewildered when she heard about Carla's new magical powers."Hold on so Carla can control light and dark magic?"
"It looks that way." Carla replied.
"It's highly unusual for a wizard or a malvago to do both at the same time." said Zuzo.
"But how is that possible?" asked Carla.
"I know how!" Zuzo answered. "Because you've mastered dark magic early at a young age you still parts of dark magic still left in after you Mateo undid fiero's spell that made you and your father malvagos, and now that you've mastered good magic, it has enhanced your dark parts therefore making a balance between the two."
Carla was surprised about this information but also confused because this was all new to her. "So not only do I have the power of light and dark magic but I also have to learn how to balance them?"
"And this power will allow you to perform new abilities and new spells no other wizard has done before." Zuzo added.
"Well that explains my boomerang trick" Carla commented.
"Do you know what this means?" Mateo said. "Your the first wizard ever to master the two sides of Maruvian magic! We could easily stand a chance against Esteban since he has Takaina powers.
Carla didn't feel so confident about that. "I'm not sure how I feel about controlling light and dark magic."
"Don't worry Carla, that's what we're here for."said Elena.
"But what if it turns me into something bad?Something that can hurt people?" asked Carla.
Elena gave Carla some reassurance. "Carla, ever since you turned from your evil ways and saved my life, you've done nothing but good for us. I highly doubt that your magic could be used for evil purposes even if you still have some dark magic in you."
"Besides,we've dealt with a lot of magical mishaps before." said Mateo.
Elena agreed. "It took a while for me to learn all the powers of my scepter, and sometimes I make mistakes by using them carelessly, but I learn from my mistakes and try to use my powers wisely."
"If there's something wrong with your magic, I'm sure it's nothing you can't handle, and we'll be there to help." said Mateo.
Carla still felt depressed. Elena decided to give some advice a certain little princess shared with her once. "You may be the one, but you're not the only one."
"Wisdom truly spoken." Zuzo smiled.
Carla felt a little better knowing that they have been through these types of situations before, and that they have the upmost confidence in her, and that they were willing to help. "Thanks Guys, I think I gonna be just fine."
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's just see what else you can do with two tamboritas!" Mateo said excitedly.
"I'm ready when you're are!"said Carla.
They trained and discovered many amazing things about Carla's new wizard powers, she had a feeling that her newly found magic was just starting to flourish.
