Summary:

In a climactic battle with Trix, Stella releases her dormant moon powers to protect her love and friends, but in doing so, she unintentionally losses the power of the sun, the main source of her planet Solaria. Struggling with this newfound dilemma, Stella embarks on a journey to reclaim the lost power of the sun, torn between her fear of losing it forever and the imperative to protect her realm. Amidst this turmoil, Brandon, harbors a secret of his own—his mysterious family and powerful mana, a gift typically reserved for the loyal. As the pressure mounts, Brandon's identity becomes a focal point, drawing the attention of the kingdom's ruler and setting him on a journey of self-discovery.

Brandon leaned over her, using himself as a shield to protect her from Stormy's attacks. He had almost driven himself to madness until he got here. What was she thinking? What was she thinking by not telling him about the plan? Brandon's eyes were fixed on her angrily as her long and delicate fingers were pressed on his chest, trying to push him away.

"Brandon no! What are you doing here?!"

Stella's concerned and stunned tone almost made Brandon smile, but the smile that was about to form faded away unseen when he remembered what a foolish situation she had gotten herself into.

Throughout his life, he had always fought to protect his planet and had always strived to fulfill his promises. However keeping Stella safe and unharmed was not so much a promise to Stella's father as it was a promise to himself. He couldn't bear to lose her. He had so few reasons to hold on to life, and Stella was the main reason among them.

Feeling the rapid beating of his boyfriend's heart in her palms, Stella tried to stand up by pushing him again. She was still in shock and wasn't expecting to find him on her after Stormy had hit her with the light ball and caused her to fall from the sky. He was using himself as a shield to protect her!

She could see Brandon was not going to move, so she spread an illusionary warmth from the sun's rays on her palms to spread a shockwave in him, only doing it because she was afraid of losing him and her friends. She has to be more careful and block Stormy's attacks better. This would not be repeated again! She'll make sure of it.

As Brandon felt the warmth he was startled and about to fall on Stella for a moment, but he held himself back at the last second. While he gave a look at the situation of his girlfriend's wellbeing, whom he feared would be crushed under his weight, realized she was nowhere to be found. He got up immediately, searching for her. Stella was now in front of him, facing the enemy. That's exactly what she was expecting.

She created a large sun shield, protecting her friends and her boyfriend. As Brandon's protest filled her ears, Stella tried to ignore it for the sake of her purpose. I have to baby, please forgive me. This would be over tonight. Tecna and Flora had been sleeping unconscious for days because of the damn Trix. These three witches always managed to come back stronger and with different plans to destroy the Winx.

This time she wasn't going to give them a chance. Death didn't scare her that much anymore. The Trix had to die, especially Icy. But right now, they should be focusing on their weakest link, Stormy. Stormy, who caused Tecna and Flora to lie unconscious in intensive care. She had first managed to weaken Tecna's power supply by filling all technological networks with big Trojan viruses. Then took down her friend by using that virus to directly destroy her.

As Stella's eyes filled with tears, she knew that now was not the time to be emotional. But the rest of the girls had been breathing, eating and living for days, afraid that they would receive that terrible news from their friends. Flora was better than Tecna even though just a little. As many forests began to disappear, she still was alive, as her home planet had not yet been taken over and destroyed. Linphea was now protected by all kingdoms just in case.

After all Winx fairies were not ordinary fairies, they were warriors and guardian fairies of the planets and the galaxy itself. They had to protect the girls if they needed protection from them.

"Stella!" While Brandon's screams caused her to clench her teeth, she prayed to the stars for the sun shield she created to hold up. If her plan worked, they would be able to return without even bleeding from their noses. It didn't matter what happened to Stella.

While Bloom was trying to damage her shield with fireballs one after another, the absorbing shield that Stella applied helped her absorb the power from every blow applied to the shield. Musa was holding Aisha as strong as possible, since she was ready to kick the barrier or jump to it until it cracked. Meanwhile the guys were all surprised not sure what to do and who to calm first.

Stella sighed and frowned at the dragon fire building within her. Unless it was its source, it was considered a weak energy. Each fairy can only become stronger with her own resources, foreign resources may only be necessary to survive for a couple of minutes until you find your own reserve.

"So we have a volunteer?"

Looking at her with her annoying smile, Stormy slowly stepped on the ground and tilted her head to the side, eyeing the fairy of the sun, stars and moon. To her least favorite fairy. Not like she had favorites but she definitely hated this one in particular. Stella was the exact opposite of the powers Stormy owned. The presence of this fairy, even from afar, could cause her powers to weaken. She was one of the rare fairies that scared her. But of course, no one knew this and she had no intention of telling.

Her sisters greatly underestimated Stella's powers because they never listened to Stormy. She had tried to warn them, telling them a thousand times that this fairy must be destroyed as soon as possible before she could use or learn to use her ready-made moon powers. The girl had three energy sources, and as Stormy explained that one of these power sources was the sun, which powers most planets, and the estimated 200 billion trillion stars in the universe, her siblings rolled their eyes and ignored her all the time.

Stella was strong, even though she didn't want to compare, she guessed she was even stronger than Bloom. While Domino was the first to exist, the planet that Domino formed immediately after was Solaria. But even when Domino was not there, there was always the sun, the stars and the moon. That moon power that they know very little about! That power that no one else can use. It was a power between the light and the darkness, two complex dynamic forces.

Stella's mother, had ever used her moon powers for defensive purposes since there was no war while she was a successful fairy in Alfea. After Stella was born, of course, most of the power was transferred to her daughter. This was Luna's own choice. She had sensed how a powerful fairy her daughter would be, even when Stella was still a fetus, and had slowly allowed her daughter to absorb much of the moon's power in her womb. That's what Stormy was afraid of. While the domino dragon gains power with the presence of fire, known as the most powerful source of the universe. Stella was gathering power from both there and her sources.

In the past, she felt a little relieved knowing that the blonde was not aware of the power, but now the fairy standing in front of her was tired of standing in the shadow of her best friend and realized her own powers or maybe, she knew but chose to not use them. Still, she wasn't going to give up that's for sure. "Thought you might have missed me." muttered Stella.

Behind the shield she created, Brandon thrust his sword into the barrier with all his might, causing Stella to be filled with a strange, dark energy. She frowned and looked at her boyfriend, puzzled by what had caused the sudden surge. Though she knew Brandon possessed the rare force of mana, the source of which was still a mystery to them. Helia, Sky, and Riven attempted to restrain him, but Brandon's strength proved formidable, even against Codatorta's efforts.

While the universe was divided into two energy sources as mana and magic; Magic was predominantly associated with women and often wielded by fairies and witches. On the other hand, mana, a power unique to men of noble bloodlines.

In the divided universe of mana and magic, Brandon's family traced back to the planet Nyxoria, where he was raised as a squire. Despite growing up in a society of orphans, the noble blood that coursed through his veins granted him the unique ability to harness mana, a power rarely seen even among royalty like Sky. Yet while he worked to become a knight of the King, Stella always wondered who his parents were and where they were now.

Brandon pushed his friends and was about to stab the shield with his sword again, but Stella turned and muttered, "Don't, you'll hurt me." She did this on purpose of course. If Tecna was there she would quickly scan the barrier and figure out her lie. Although the energies of her friends and her boyfriend created enough energy to sustain her, if Stormy attacked the shield thinking it would harm Stella any way; than Stella could've used that power to convert for more energy.

Brandon's sword slipped from his hand and he suddenly stopped, as the desperation in his eyes made Stella's heart sink. "Don't, you don't have to do it alone. If something happens to you, Stella..."

"Blah, blah, blah." Stormy intervened and decorated the sky to her liking. "Handsome, all you have to do is watch while I skin your princess alive. There's nothing you can do but shut up." While Brandon's palms were turning into fists on both sides, he didn't even care that the person in front of him was a woman. If Stella got hurt, Brandon would not hesitate to use the same threat she had just used against the woman he loved, on that witch without batting an eyelid.

Stella didn't even flinch as Stormy suddenly caused a bolt of lightning to fall from the sky right at Stella's feet. While her friends were watching the duo helplessly, Bloom was looking at her best friend with her palms clenched, unable to stop the tears flowing from her eyes. Just like Brandon, if there was even the slightest harm to Stella, she would destroy even that witch's carcass without caring about the shield. They came here without a plan. Stella had been following Stormy for a long time and finally found her trace by reading the sky, something they both had in common.

Stormy frowned as Stella walked towards Stormy, slowly and sauntering like a total princess. Of course she didn't expect Stella to walk away trembling, but she shouldn't have been so cold-blooded either. She was… too calm for Stormy's liking. Stormy looked at the princess of Solaria, whom she had always envied and who had a beauty that the whole universe envied also, even if they did not accept its reality. I'm going to destroy your pretty face, she thought, even an ogre would puke seeing your appearance.

"Less talkie, more workie." Stella grimaced to the Stormy's words. "You really are a witch." She murmured while Stormy laughed dramatically letting the lightings to hit the ground.

Stella was thankful for their new transformation. Thanks to it, she could easily adopt to any situation. The girls were all surrounded by colors symbolizing the powers within them. While their transparent shoes made it appear as if each of them were moving on tiptoe, anyone who looked carefully would notice the glitter of stones circling their calves were connected to a heel. She was thankful that her hair didn't spread to the ground this time. Sometimes she didn't even want to transform for fear of it getting damaged, even though she knew that wouldn't happen. The worries she once had, meant nothing now. She didn't even care about this outfit, with its nude colored material, with diamonds and gold surrounding every curve. Fairies had to look beautiful, this was a necessary condition for survival. As it's known, while those who hunted fairies were sometimes seriously powerful, their best trump card was to manipulate with their appearance. Just like mermaids do with their voices. Stella took one last look at her dress, she loved this mini dress that hugged all her curves and was made of a strong material even a bullet can't get through, but tonight it would be ruined.

Sighing to herself Stella looked up at the sky. It was pitch black, something that warned that Stella should be extra careful. This was Stormy's area, she could easily refresh her powers while Stella has neither sun nor the stars. Biting on her lip she gave a short look to the moon but shook the idea without even considering. Not going to happen.

Stormy tired of waiting jumped up and throw a ball filled with thunder which Stella pushed with the back of her hand. That wasn't something special, Stormy was underestimating her and her attacks were proving it. I'll show you who you're fighting with. Gently rising in the air, she faced Stormy with sunrays warming on her palms.

"I'm bored." said Stormy checking on her nails. Stella smiled, oh honey, I was counting.

As the tension crackled in the air, Stella and Stormy faced each other, their gazes locked in a battle of wills. Stormy's eyes gleamed with malicious intent as she summoned dark clouds overhead, crackling with energy. Kitsch, thought Stella.

With a flick of her wrist, she unleashed a barrage of lightning bolts aimed directly at Stella, seeking to overwhelm her with sheer force. But Stella stood her ground, her expression resolute as she called upon the power of the sun. A radiant shield of light formed around her, deflecting the lightning strikes with ease. With a determined expression, she began to advance towards Stormy, her motions unwavering despite the chaos surrounding them.

Why isn't she panicking, wondered Stormy. Suddenly feeling anxious.

As Stella closed the distance between them, Stormy responded with a fierce onslaught of wind and rain, aiming to disorient and distract her opponent. But Stella remained focused, her movements fluid as she weaved through the tempest, closing in on Stormy with each passing moment.

"What the hell!" Stormy's scream echoed in the destroyed forest. How is she doing this? Looking up Stormy checked if by any chance the sun was there. Of course it wasn't but Stella was… powerful. But how?

Brandon frowned looking at his girlfriend. Why are you so calm Stella? What's your plan? Not wanting to think that Stella is risking her life over this stupid witch he pulled on his hair trying to calm his nerves. You can't leave me.

With a sudden burst of energy, Stella unleashed a brilliant beam of solar energy towards Stormy, forcing her to stagger backward under the intense glare. Seizing the opportunity, Stella pressed forward, her fists clenched as she prepared to deliver another blow.

With a defiant snarl, Stormy retaliated with a surge of raw power, unleashing a tidal wave of thunder towards Stella. For a moment, it seemed as though Stella would be overwhelmed by the attack. Yet, with a fierce determination burning in her eyes, Stella summoned the strength to push through the storm.

It was Stormy's turn to laugh, "Oh and I was thinking where was this power coming from when there's no sun! You've been collecting, I see." Yes she was, she didn't use her powers for days and had her ring collect most of the energy by just staying under the sun of Solaria. Stormy's attack was too powerful to stop and she had to use most of her powers to get through it.

"I'm dead." Stella murmured, aware that she had used most of her power to get through her storm. Closing her eyes she lowered herself to the ground so her wings would not use the rest of her energy.

"Yes you are sweetie." The sudden shockwave that Stormy sent enveloped Stella like a dark, ominous cloud, knocking her off balance and sending her crashing to the ground on her back.

"The Winx girls were going to go one by one anyway. But I thought you would stay last. I was wrong," Stormy sneered. Meanwhile, the girls, safely positioned behind the barrier, erupted into raucous anger, their voices echoing until their throats were raw. Amidst the chaos, Brandon frantically pounded on the barrier, desperation overriding any concern for the damage he might cause to Stella in his attempt to reach her.

She tried to feel her solar powers but there wasn't even a small spark to help her get up. She was going to die. Swallowing hard, she couldn't shake off the feeling of incompetence and helplessness, knowing that she couldn't protect her friends.

Flora and Tecna's lives hung in the balance because of her failures. Stella's nails dug into her palm as she looked up at Stormy, who approached with a slow, menacing stride and a smirk that grated on her nerves. "The honor is mine," she muttered, Stella's brow furrowing at her defiance. In response, Stormy unleashed another brutal blow, as if enjoying the violence. Stella gritted her teeth, ignoring the pain searing through her body as blood trickled from various wounds Stormy created.

With Brandon breaking through the barrier and charging toward Stormy, sword in hand and reckless abandon in his eyes, her felt a surge of fear, anxiety, and hatred fueling his body. Stormy remained oblivious to Brandon's approach, her focus solely on tormenting Stella. As Brandon neared, the girls who attacked Stormy all together faltered, collapsing to the ground as Stormy struck them by a powerful shockwave.

Stella couldn't allow herself to believe it was over. She refused to let Stormy hurt people she loved just like that. Suddenly an unfamiliar source excelled inside her. Drawing on that wellspring of energy, Stella summoned every ounce of strength within her, controlling it with a determination born of desperation. The power surged through her veins like a raging inferno, overwhelming her senses until she felt as though she might burst from within. Yet she clung to it, refusing to falter in her resolve.

As Stella began to undergo a profound transformation, her hair, dress, wings, and even her aura shifted before Stormy's astonished eyes. Stormy, well-versed in the Winx girls' various transformations. But this one was also Enchantix, it wasn't a new one. Could it be that Stella had two transformations, or was there something she missed? As the realization dawned on her, Stormy instinctively took a step back, a chill creeping down her spine. The power of the moon...

With a mighty roar, Stella unleashed a burst of lunar energy, dispelling the dark clouds and sending Stormy reeling backwards.

No, thought Stella her legs shaking. She looked up to see the full moon. I can't, no!

Stormy, taken aback by Stella's sudden display of power, faltered for the first time. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she struggled to comprehend the magnitude of the fairy's strength. She does know how to use the moon power! She had to run away, immediately and tell her sisters about this stupid threat they were going to face. If only, if only they listened to her in the beginning.

With mounting panic, Stormy attempted to retreat, to escape the inevitable fate that awaited her. "Too late," murmured Stella. She didn't dare to look at her friends or even Brandon. They probably hated her right now. But they were not saying anything at all to protest what she was about to do. The lunar energy crackled and surged around her, forming into ghostly tendrils that reached out towards Stormy with relentless determination. I'm using it, I have no other choice, that's the only source I have right now! But why?! She tried to calm herself, it wasn't the right time to panic.

Desperation clawed at Stormy's heart as she frantically attempted to evade the encroaching energy, but it was futile. With a final burst of radiant light, Stella unleashed the full force of her lunar power, enveloping Stormy in a blinding cascade of energy mixing with white hues.

In an instant, Stormy was consumed by the brilliant glow, her form fading into nothingness as she was destroyed by the sheer force of Stella's energy. All that remained was a lingering echo of her presence, a testament to the power of the Guardian Fairy.

As the light began to fade and the dust settled, Stella stood alone amidst the aftermath of the battle, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she surveyed the scene before her. She felt different. While her legs touched the ground another shock washed over her, I'm different. She was, all white. Her protective transformation surrounded with warm colors was gone, replaced with white and grey.

As Stella studied herself, she noticed strands of white and gray interwoven among her blonde curls. Her feet appeared bare, yet they rested upon what felt like a smoke like mist, though she still sensed the cold earth beneath her toes. It was as if an invisible shoe shielded her from the soil. Surrounding her calves, like a celestial rope of enchantment, were beautiful sparkling stones. She blinked, observing her hands and arms as bright, diamond-like stones cascaded from her shoulders to her elbows.

A transparent, chain-like rope extended from her wrists to her fingers, adorned with shimmering white moonstones. Stella's breath caught in her throat. She had transformed into a moon fairy. Even without seeing her face, she exuded a captivating beauty that could ensnare Brandon's heart and probably the rest of the universe. It was as if the moon itself illuminated her features.

The sudden transformation left Stella so breathtakingly beautiful that she hardly needed to lift a finger in a battle. Her mere presence could disarm the enemy with her radiance alone. Yet, she couldn't shake the nagging question: What's the price she has to pay for this?
