In the Gobi desert, a gust of wind pushes back some sand back as a green portal opened up revealing Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ultra Magnus, Prowl, Drift, Lincoln, Clyde and Lucy exiting the portal. "So this is Gobi Desert?" Ultra Magnus asked.
"Yeah, and it's super hot here." Clyde replied as he started to sweat.
"Sigh I already hate it here." Lucy said as she was sweating.
"You know Lucy. You didn't have to come, I can contact Ratchet to open a ground bridge." Prowl said.
"Do you wanna go back to the Ark?" Lincoln asked.
"No. I don't want to slow you all down." Lucy said.
"Then that is her decision. Let us begin our mission." Drift said.
"We also need to be aware of our surroundings in case the Decepticons plan a surprise attack." Optimus reported.
"If they're here, I'll be ready." Bumblebee said.
"Let's roll out!" Optimus Prime said,
The Autobots transformed and Lincoln, Lucy and Clyde got onto their respective Autobot guardians before they all drove along the sand.
Elsewhere in the desert, another green portal opened and Megatron stepped out of the portal. "So this is the planet the Autobots have landed on?" He asked.
"I have to admit it's really boring." A voice said from inside the portal.
Just then Barricade, Sidesways and Demolisher come out of the portal. "I agree with Barricade. What's so speical about this planet?" Demolisher
"I'm already hate it here." Sideways added.
"The sooner we get the Energon, the faster we can get out of this place." Barricade said.
"Let's do it then." Demolisher said before he walked right ahead.
"If the Autobots are with their humans we can use them as leverage." Barricade suggested.
"A wise idea Barricade." Megatron agreed.
"Can I at least dispose of one human? You know, just for the fun of it." Sideways said.
"Business before pleasure Sideways." Megatron said. "We can kill the humans first and wipe the Autobots out at the side time."
"Sounds good to me." Barricade agreed.
"Then let's go!" Megatron demanded. The four Decepticons transformed and started driving away.
The Autobots drove along the sand and their human friends were still riding alongside them.
"So do all places on Earth have sand like this?" Drift asked.
"Not all like this." Clyde said.
"Other places have grass, oceans, mountains, cities and even volcanos." Lincoln said.
"Even dark scary places." Lucy asked. "Like the Suicide Forest and the French catacombs made out of human bones."
"That's interesting." Prowl replied uncertain how to respond.
"Messed up is more like it." Bumblebee said.
"That sister of yours is…quite unsettling." Ultra Magnus muttered to Lincoln.
"Yeah I know." Lincoln said. "She really likes the dark and gloomy stuff."
"She's also into connecting with spirits AKA ghosts." Clyde added.
"Ghosts?" Drift asked. "That sounds silly."
"Oh, really? Would you believe us if we told you we've once met the ghost of our ancestors?" Lincoln asked.
"From the sound of your tone, I definitely believe it." Bumblebee replied.
"Sigh. I miss Lucille sometimes." Lucy said.
"Who is Lucille?" Prowl asked.
"Lucy's look-alike ancestor, but she's a ghost." Lincoln said.
"Wait you encountered ghosts?" Bumblebee asked.
"Yeah before we found out we're descendants of Scottish royalty." Lincoln said,
"I never went with them. I stayed home." Clyde said.
"Sounds like you humans have an interesting history." Prowl said.
"We do." Lucy replied.
As Clyde leaned out of Drift's door window, he started to see an unfamiliar vehicle drive up behind them in the distance.
"Guys, do police cars normal travel in the middle of a desert?" Clyde asked.
"No, they don't." Lincoln replied.
"What about that motorcycle?" Lucy asked.
"Or some weird tank with four barrels?" Clyde questioned.
"Or a weird jet." Lincoln said as he looks at Bumblebee's rear view mirror.
"Oh no. Please don't tell me that wired jet is who I think it is." Bumblebee said in a very nervous tone.
"I'm afraid so Bumblebee." Optimus Prime said.
"We can't let them hurt our human friends." Ultra Magnus said.
"Let's pick up the pace!" Prowl stated.
"I agree. We can't fight them with passengers." Ultra Magnus agreee.
"Let me guess, those are the bad robots?" Clyde asked.
"Correct. They are the ones we are at war with." Drift replied.
"And what's so bad about the one in the air?" Lincoln asked.
"That's Megatron." Ultra Magnus answered.
"He's the Leader of the Decepticons, he wanted to return Cybertron its former glory. But in the end it ravaged Cybertron in the process." Optimus prime explaiend.
"He sounds like a figure who was forged from a dark past." Lucy said.
"In a way yes." Optimus Prime sighed.
"Look out!" Lincoln cried out as Demolisher began to open fire on the Autobots.
"Move!" Bumblebee shouted before they all started driving out of the missiles's range.
"Prowl get ahead of us!" Ultra Magnus commanded but he sees Prowl is driving ahead of the group. "Oh nevermind you got it."
"He's a quick thinker." Lincoln admitted.
"Well, Prowl isn't much of a team player." Bumblebee said.
"Huh, so he doesn't take orders well?" Lincoln asked.
"Doesn't look like it." Clyde said.
Demolisher shot serval more missiles but Drift kept dodging them. "You can't avoid me forever!" Demolisher shouted.
"You won't need to!" Sideways said as he suddenly speeded towards the Autobots.
"Drift, behind you!" Ultra Magnus called.
But Drift didn't have time to dodge and Sideways rammed into him, making the two of them and Clyde fall down the large sand hill.
Sideways transformed into robot mode and laughed. "Didn't see that coming Drift?" Sidesways asked as he walked towards him and Clyde. "You took forever to catch up."
"It will take much longer for you to destroy me, Sideways." Drift replied as he get in front of Clyde and pulled out his swords. "I swore to myself that I'd always help Optimus and the Autobots defend innocent beings against Decepticons like you."
"Why would you wanna stop us? You used to be with us when the war started." Sideways said smugly.
"Wait, what?" Clyde asked confusingly. "Drift, what's he talking about?"
"Oh, so you haven't told your new human friend about where you really came from." Sideways chuckled. "That's not what an Autobot would do…Deadlock."
"Deadlock?" Clyde asked.
"You haven't told him. Well I might as well tell him. You see kid, Drift was a Decepticon like me." Sidesways said. "But he was once named Deadlock."
"What?!" Clyde asked in shock.
"I am not Deadlock anymore! My name is Drift!" Drift shouted before attacking Sideways with his swords, causing the Decepticons to block him with his arm beams.
"You can't escape your past!" Sideways said. "I can still feel the Spark of a Decepticon inside you!"
"That spark is no more!" Drift said as he breaks Sideways' block and strike again, but Sidesways disappear with a static like effect.
"Where did he go?!" Clyde questioned.
Then gets shot from behind and the shooter revealed to be Sidesways aiming his right arm beam at him. "Once a Decepticon always a Decepticon." Sideways said.
Just then, Ultra Magnus drove down the sand hill and he transformed before punching Sideways away.
"Clyde, Drift are you two alright?" Ultra Magnus asked.
"I'm fine, but Drift isn't." Clyde answered.
"I am fine commander," Drift grunted.
"Not until we get out of here and meet up with the others." Ultra Magnus said as he helped Drift back onto his feet.
"And before the evil bike Decepticons wakes up." Clyde said while pointing to an unconscious Sideways.
The two Autobots transformed as Cylde got into Drift and drove off.
Meanwhile Barricade sped up to Bumblebee and rams him.
"You're mine, Bumblebee!" Barricade said.
"Carful! I've got a kid inside me!" Bumblebee replied before he transformed and kicked Barricade away, catching Lincoln in his hands.
Barricade transformed into robot mode and pounded his fists. "He'll be nothing more but a stain on the ground." Barricade shouted as he spun his around like maces.
"Stay back, Lincoln! I can handle this bad Robo cop!" Bumblebee stated as he brought out his stingers.
Bumblebee ran towards Barricade and shoot at Barricade even hitting him in the optics. "Scrap!" Barricade cried out right when Bumblebee dodged one of Barricade's fists.
"What's the matter?! You got a singing feeling in your eyes?!" Bumblebee asked mockingly as he kicked Barricade and tossed him by the arm.
"More like an annoyance!" Barricade said as he punched Bumblebee in the face and smacks him to the side. "I'm gonna rip that voice box of yours out of you!"
"No thank you!" Bumblebee said before shooting Barricade with his stingers.
"Then maybe I'll take down your human." Barricade said as he runs towards Lincoln.
"Oh crud!" Lincoln exclaimed as he ran away from the Decepticon.
Barricade began to chase after Lincoln until Bumblebee tackles him to the ground. "Not a chance." Bumblebee said.
He picked up Barricade and used all his strength to toss him many metres away from him and Lincoln.
"Thanks, Bee." Lincoln said.
"Don't mention it." Bumblebee said, he then transformed into car mode and opened his passenger door for Lincoln, as he got in and drove off.
Demolisher was still firing missiles at Optimus, but Prowl drove in front of him and transformed with Lucy on his back.
"I'll take care of this Decepticon." Prowl proclaimed before throwing his ninja stars at Demolisher.
"Prowl! Don't put your human in danger!" Optimus Prine shouted but Prowl didn't listen and charged towards Demolisher as he transform into robot mode. Demolisher throws punches trying to land a hit on Prowl, but he was dodging Demolisher's punches.
"I'm slipping! Stop being so fast!" Lucy shouted as she struggled to hold onto Prowl.
Prowl noticed that Demolisher began shooting from his fingertips, so Prowl took cover behind a sand dune. "I got him cornered!" Demolisher cheered.
But then, Prowl threw one of his stars to the side and it boomeranged all the way to Demolisher, hitting him in the face.
"Scrap!" Demolisher yelped in pain,
"Big strength, small brains." Prowl snickered.
"I'll show you who's dumb!" Demolisher shouted as he charged towards Prowl.
"Gasp! Move out of the way, Prowl!" Lucy exclaimed as she jumped out of Demolisher's way.
Prowl jumps in the air and performs the bicycle kick on Demolisher, then gives him a roundhouse kick to the face knocking the Decepticon out. "Come along Lucy, we have Energon to find." Prowl said.
"You could have at least thanked me for warning you." Lucy said with a scoff.
"Very well. Thank you for warning Me." Prowl said as he transformed into a police motorcycle.
"Good." Lucy said.
She got onto Prowl and he drove after the other Autobots.
Optimus was driving at high speed when he look at his side mirror and sees Megatron coming towards him. Megatron shot an energy blast at Optimus knocking him out of his path and transformed into robot to recover from landing. Optimus Prime looked up and see Megatron transforming into robot mode.
"Megatron." Optimus Prime glared.
"Optimus. Been well?" Megatron asked with a smirk. "I see you and your fellow Autobots have already made friends in this planet's native life forms."
"You will not harm them." Optimus Prime as he got up and took out his Energon blade.
"You cannot stop the inevitable. This planet will learn of out existence and I shall destroy these humans." Megatron said as he brought out his own gladiator blade.
"I will not let you or the Decepticons destroyed this planet like what you did to Cybertron," Optimus Prime said.
The two enemies charged at each other and engaged in a blade battle, blocking each others attacks and not backing down.
They both locked blades and glares at each other. "The people of this planet will not trust you. They will betray you, and hunt you Autobots down." Megatron said.
"That remains to be seen!" Optimus proclaimed.
Optimus breaks the block and slashed Megatron across the the chest and gives him and uppercut.
But Megatron ended up recovering and fired his fusion cannon at Optimus, who immediately dodged the shots.
Optimus turned his left hand into a blaster and opened fire on Megatron, but he dodged the shots. "Those humans. Do you think they can be trusted Prime?" Megatron asked.
"Some of them have already displayed courage and kindness towards us." Optimus said.
"Not all humans are the same." Megatron said while firing another shot from his fusion cannon.
This time, Optimus jumped over the shot and charged at Megatron before punching him across the face, sending him crashing through the sand.
"They would never betray us." Optimus Prime said as he turned around and began to all away, but he felt something was wrong, so he turned around and see Megatron coming towards him. So Optimus shot another blast at Megatron knocking him down.
With Megatron down, Optimus transformed and drove away to regroup with the Autobots and their human friends.
Megatron gets back up and sees the Autobots driving away, he clutched his fists and screams in frustration.
Pretty soon, the Autobots regrouped with each other and drove along the sand with Lincoln, Lucy and Clyde still riding in them,
"So that was Megatron?" Lincoln asked.
"Oh yeah. He's even uglier in any angle." Bumblebee said.
"And he's definitely gonna give me some nightmares." Clyde muttered nervously.
"He would haunt the demons of the underworld." Lucy said.
"I don't know what an underworld is, but so did everyone else back on Iacon." Ultra Magnus said.
"At least we're not going to deal with him for the rest of the mission, right?" Lincoln asked.
"We can only hope Lincoln." Ultra Magnus said,
"So, is that Energon close?" Prowl asked
"I believe so." Ultra Magnus said. "Just a few clicks away."
"I think I see some glowing crystals ahead of us." Lucy said as everyone else saw there was indeed some crystals sticking out of the sand ahead of them.
"Energon." Optimus Prime said as they approached the Energon crystals.
Lincoln, Lucy and Clyde got off their Autobot guardians as the Bots transformed.
"Man there's enough Energon to keep the Ark up and running for years." Bumblebee said.
"I never thought something like this would be on our world." Clyde admitted.
"Let's grab the Energon before those Decepticons catch up." Ultra Magnus said.
"Agree. We don't want a firefight to break out here." Drift said. "Energon is highly unstable if it gets shot."
"I'll start gathering it." Prowl said as he used his ninja stars to cut the Energon into smaller pieces.
Drift took out his swords and started slicing Energon into pieces as well. "I figured you would need a hand." Drift said.
"I'm not seeing any Decepticons. Just a lot of sand." Lincoln said while keeping a look out.
"Sigh. I don't like sand." Lucy said. "It gets everywhere."
"Don't Lucy once we gather up the Energon, we'll be out this place in no time." Lincoln stated.
But then, Sideways drove out from the sand and he transformed before kicking Bumblebee down.
"I'll rip out your optics, Autobot!" Sideways shouted as he grabbed Bumblebee's face.
"Pick on someone your own size!" Prowl stated before he tackled Sideways.
Sidesways recovered from the attack and punched Prowl only for it to be a hologram. "Show yourself coward!" Sideways shouted.
"With pleasure." A voice replied as Prowl suddenly kicked Sideways from behind.
Optimus brought out his blaster and he shot Sideways with it before Ultra Magnus slammed him onto the sand.
"Surrender Sideays. You're all alone and outnumber." Ultra Magnus said.
"Guess again Magnus." Sidesways snickered.
Ultra Magnus suddenly got hit by a blaster shot and everyone saw that it came from Barricade, who was holding a Cybertronian rifle in his hand.
"Just be lucky I didn't hit that Energon!" Barricade replied.
"This Con is all mine!" Bumblebee stated.
He fired his stingers at Barricade as Lincoln, Lucy and Clyde got behind Optimus.
Barricade gets hit by the stingers, until Demolisher shows up, transformed into robot mode and opened fire on Bumblebee. "Dance Autobot!" He chuckled.
Bumblebee yelped in shock while avoiding all of Demolisher's shots, until Drift sliced off his cannons with his samurai sword.
Then Megatron flies towards the Autobots until Optimus Prime takes out his blaster and shoots the Decepticon leader in the wing, causing him to crash land.
"Okay, we need to get out of here!" Lincoln stated fearfully.
Right when the kids began to run to a safe place, Barricade began to chase after them only to get tackled by Bumblebee. "They're off limits." Bumblebee said.
"Get those insects, you fools!" Megatron ordered as he charged into Optimus and punched him down.
"Yes, Lord Megatron!" Demolisher replied.
Demolisher and Sideways began to chase after the kids, but Prowl kicks Sidewasys in the face knocking him down. While Demolisher got clotheslined by Ultra Magnus.
"We must retreat!" Optimus called out.
"Good! Because we've got enough Energon!" Bumblebee said as he and Drift held some Energon cubes.
"Ratchet! We need you to open up a Ground bridge at our location!" Optimus ordered.
"And fast!" Ultra Magnus added.
"Opening up a ground bridge at your location." Ratchet said through a comlink,
Just then, a Ground Bridge appeared right behind the Autobots and they knew this was their ticket home.
"You three, get into the Ground Bridge!" Prowl ordered Lincoln, Lucy and Clyde.
Lincoln, Clyde and Lucy didn't even say a word, but they ran towards the Ground Bridge. Demolisher attempted to grab them but ends up getting blasted by Ultra Magnus. Sideways began to run after them until he get leg sweeped by Prowl, but then the three kids entered the ground bridge getting them out of the Decepticons' grasp.
"Sorry, Cons, but yay loose!" Bumblebee mocked. "We'll be taking this Energon to go!"
The Autobots grabbed the Energon cubes and ran towards the ground bridge as the Decepticons opened fire on them.
"Stop them, you fools!" Megatron ordered.
"We're trying!" Sideways replied.
Once Optimus Prime reached the ground bridge, Megatron runs towards the Ground bridge portal, but it closes on him right before he can go in. Megatron screams in frustration as the other Decepticons around him backed away in fear.
"I'm not sticking around to get punched by him." Barricade whispered. "That's Starscream's department."
"You let the Autobots escape with the Energon!" Megatron shouted. "Idiots!"
"If it makes you feel better Lord Megatron. There's still some Energon left over." Demolisher stated. In response, Megatron punched him a few yards away from where he originally was.
The Optimus Prime's team placed the Energon cubes on the ground as Ratchet walked up to him. "Optimus is anyone on your team damaged?" Ratchet asked.
"We are fine Ratchet. But we had a run in with Megatron." Optimus Prime said.
"Good thing he didn't kill us." Lincoln sighed.
"Thank goodness for that." Luan said.
"Have the others return?" Ultra Magnus asked.
"We sure have." Ronnie Anne replied as her team and the second team arrived into the room.
"We got our Energon, plus Cliff and Lola finally got along." Jazz said.
"Shockwave blew up our Energon." Arcee said.
"What about you guys?" Lynn asked.
"We got some Energon." Clyde said. "Plus I learn something about Drift."
"What is it?" Lana asked.
"We'll tell you another time." Bulkhead said.
"Oh, and we survived an encounter with Megatron." Lincoln admitted.
"Whoa really?" Luna asked.
"What did he look like?" Lynn asked.
"Like the stuff of nightmares." Lincoln said.
"You're lucky he didn't kill you." Mirage replied.
Lincoln gulped in fear to Mirage's response. "The most important thing is that you're safe." Jetfire said.
"And we've got some Energon." Cliffjumper added.
"Not only that, but those stupid Decepticons literally didn't get any." Lori said.
"Well we didn't get all of the Energon." Prowl said.
"Wait what?!" Blurr questioned.
"We couldn't let our human partners die. We had no choice to abandon the Energon." Drift explained.
"But we still managed to get half of it." Bumblebee assured.
"Yeah but the Decepticons have the other half." Jetfire said.
"All we can do now is prepare for what happens next." Optimus said. "Our war is far from over. And the Decepticons will stop at nothing to conquer Earth."
"It's always about conquering Earth, isn't it?" Lola asked in annoyance.
"Yes, it is." Lucy replied.
"But at least we'll be around to help out." Ronnie Anne said.
"Indeed. I can share my knowledge of human tech and the Autobots can do the same for me." Lisa said.
"I'm okay with that." Wheeljack agreed.
"Of course you would." Hot Shot said.
"Well, it looks like things are still gonna get more crazy for us." Lincoln admitted.
"You said it, bro." Luna said in agreement.
