In Midoriya's mom's apartment...
Lila helped Midoriya's mom set up the bed since it was getting late. The bed sheets looked like something Midoriya would have since they were AllMight blankets.
"I'm sorry I don't have any other blankets," Mrs. Midoriya said to her, "I'd get you others, but they're getting washed right now."
"That's okay. I don't mind," Lila said back with a smile, "I'm just glad that I get to sleep in an actual bed tonight."
As they got the bed ready, Lila wondered if Midoriya and his friends were anywhere close to figuring out where she was staying. She figured that they were in school, so probably not. She smiled, realizing that they probably just got out of school.
"So, have you heard from Izuku yet? He's probably pretty excited to hear from you since he was stuck in Paris for so long," Lila asked her as they finished making the bed.
"No. not yet. He's busy with school, so I didn't want to call him until he was done," Mrs. Midoriya said to her, "I don't want to get in the way of his studies and hero training. They can get pretty... intense with their training."
"Wow! Sounds like a pretty crazy school. It must be hard to take care of him since he's always training and possibly getting hurt," Lila pointed out.
"Yeah... A little..." Mrs. Midoriya said as she trailed off, "It can be a little worrisome, but then I remind myself that he's doing this to be a great hero someday. It can be a bit nerve racking, but he's happy there. His friends are there to help him out too, so I'm not worried as much as I used to be."
Lila noticed that she was starting to tear up and tried to hide her eyes rolling at her. Then she smiled at her, hoping that she wouldn't go on and on about how adorable he was back then.
"I'm sure you'll hear from him soon. But I bet he would love to hear from you after school," Lila said back to her, "You know, just to surprise him. I bet he'd like that a lot."
Mrs. Midoriya's eyes lit up as she wiped the tears away. Lila noticed that she looked more confident now.
"You're right, Cerise," Mrs. Midoriya said back, "I should call him right now. He would understand why I'm calling him."
Midoriya's mom pulled out her cellphone and went into the other room. Lila watched her from inside Midoriya's room, and she was already calling him. She couldn't help but smile, knowing full well what might happen.
Earlier in Class 1-M's dormitory...
After hero training, everyone got dressed and headed back to their dormitory. Class 1-A really wanted to see their dormitory, so AllMight and Mr. Aizawa allowed it for now. They had to go back to their dormitory before curfew however. They were all entering their dormitory, noticing how different it looked. It still looked like their dormitory, but there were noticeable differences in the kitchen and the common room.
"Wow! This place is amazing!" Ashido cried out.
"Your kitchen is so cute!" Yaoyorozu cried out with sparkles in her eyes, "It looks like something out of Paris!"
"Yeah. I guess Mr. Aizawa knew that we'd feel a bit homesick," Marinette said to them, "He even put up that Eiffel Tower picture in the common room."
Everyone in Class 1-A was shocked to learn this. They all knew that Mr. Aizawa can be pretty supportive at times, but this was just something they couldn't see him doing for them.
"Seriously? Are you sure he did that and not some other teacher?" Kaminari asked them.
"Yeah. He did," Marinette said as she looked at it with so much appreciation for it.
"He even helped Cementoss with our rooms. Our rooms are pretty cool," Adrien said to them.
"Can we see them?!" Ashido cried out with sparkles in her eyes, "We've gotta see them!"
Soon enough, almost everyone ran into the elevator to see their rooms. Adrien wanted to show his room to Class 1-A and got really excited. Soon enough, he got to his room with some of his classmates and friends. He opened his door, and everyone gasped when they saw his room. Even Ashido seemed to really like it a lot.
"Whoa! This is so cool!" Ashido cried out, "This is so Cat Noir!"
"Umm... Thank you?" Adrien asked, not sure if that was a compliment or not.
"This is pretty sick, dude!" Kaminari said to him, "I wish my room was this cool."
"Your room no where near this cool," Jirou said back.
Adrien didn't even notice Jirou show up, and then got a little nervous being near her. No one seemed to know that he and Jirou used to date. When he asked Yaoyorozu about Jirou, she said that she heard her crying the other night. She wouldn't even tell anyone about what happened in Paris. He really hoped that she was okay. They ended up locking eyes with each other and felt something between them.
"Hey! You totally need to show us your rooms!" Ashido cried out, "I wanna see Nino's next!"
"Alright, just don't touch anything please," Nino said back.
They all exited Adrien's room, and Jirou was the last one to leave. Before she could leave, Adrien grabbed her wrist very gently. They didn't say anything, they just stood there in silence. He could tell that Jirou already knew why he stopped her from leaving.
"Yaoyorozu told you, didn't she?" Jirou asked him.
"Y-Yeah... She did..." Adrien said back, "Don't be mad at her. She's just worried about you... and so am I."
Jirou looked up at him, and he knew that she was hurting. Something about the way she looked at him told him that she really was crying the other night. He gently guided her towards his bed, and they sat down together. For a while, Adrien and Jirou just sat there quietly. Adrien let her settle down before saying anything to her.
"Kyouka... You do know that I still care about you, right?" Adrien asked her.
"Of course I do. It's just..." Jirou said back and then trailed off, "I didn't expect you and all the others to come with us back home. I thought that you'd already be back in Paris by now. It just feels... a little awkward..."
"I understand. I didn't exactly think I'd be stuck in Japan with my teammates, let alone go to U.A. for a while," Adrien said back.
"Yeah. If I had known that, maybe I wouldn't have..." Jirou trailed off, realizing what she was about to say.
Adrien felt himself blush, and so did she. He could barely look at her without getting those same old feelings that he had for her back in Paris. Something about it felt different this time around. He really cared about her, but ever since he got together with Marinette, he realized how much they've progressed in their relationship. He held her hand, which grabbed her attention.
"Kyouka, I really like you," Adrien said to her, "It's just... Me and Marinette are partners, not just as Ladybug and Cat Noir, but also as a couple. For a long time, I never realized that I even liked Marinette at all in that way. Once I found out who she was, things just started clicking. Those days when we were together though, there's nothing I'd ever trade for those days and moments together. I really hope that you can understand that."
Jirou's eyes widened, and she looked down at the floor. Adrien then noticed that she was crying. He tightened his grip on her hand, and she looked up at him. Adrien felt so bad that she even felt this way at all. He wanted to wipe those tears off of her face, but he couldn't get himself to do it. Before he could say anything, Jirou suddenly kissed him.
Adrien definitely wasn't expecting that, and she quickly pulled away. Her face was bright red, and she got up to leave.
"I-I'm sorry Adrien... I just... I still..." Jirou said back, but couldn't find the words to tell him.
Before she could run off, Adrien grabbed her wrist. Adrien was speechless from her kissing him.
"Kyouka please," Adrien said as he held her hands, "Please tell me what is wrong! I want to help!"
"That's the problem, Adrien," Jirou said back a little harshly, "There's nothing that you can do!"
"Then why did you kiss me?" Adrien asked her.
"Because I'm in love with you, idiot!" Jirou cried out.
That got Adrien to let go of her, and she ran for it. Adrien stood there, not even daring to go after her. He wanted to, but he couldn't even get himself to move his legs towards her. Then he realized in that moment that he didn't feel the same way.
"Kyouka..."
Earlier in Class 1-M's common room...
Marinette, Chloe, Midoriya, Uraraka Kirishima, and Bakugo decided to stay in the common room since they were still tired from training. Marinette sat down on one of the couches, and Uraraka joined her. Midoriya noticed Chloe talking to Kirishima and Bakugo and knew that he should give him back his Miraculous. He played around with the ring and walked up to him.
"Kacchan?" Midoriya said to him.
Bakugo looked up at him and spotted his Miraculous right away. Midoriya played with it for a second and took it off. He felt Sparkky disappear on top of his head, and he felt kind of sad.
"I talked to Sparkky, and they said that they would be more patient with you. I understand why you wouldn't want something like this around all of the time, but I would," Midoriya said to him.
Bakugo didn't say anything, but Midoriya definitely noticed him listening to him.
"You have no idea how much I miss Dekku. Just having Sparkky around just reminded me how much I miss having a Kwami around. I hope that you can at least give Sparkky another chance," Midoriya said as he gave him the Miraculous.
Bakugo looked at it with Chloe and Kirishima around. He hesitated to take it back, but Midoriya could tell that he kind of missed having it on him. Bakugo bit his lip and took it back. He put it on and Sparkky showed up in front of him.
"Finally," Sparkky said to Bakugo, "You should listen to Izuku more often. He's pretty smart."
Midoriya felt a little more from that compliment, but then eyed Sparkky to give him a chance.
"But I understand why you don't want me around all the time," Sparkky said to him, "You're just not used to it. That's all."
Bakugo didn't really say much, but Midoriya could just tell that he didn't know what to say to him.
"It's fine. I just needed some space is all," Bakugo said under his breath, "If you stop going through my stuff, I'll give you something to eat."
Sparkky's eyes sparkled like fireworks, and the Kwami flew around Bakugo really fast.
"Really? Can I have one of your spicy candies?" Sparkky asked him.
"Fine. That doesn't mean that you can eat them all at once though," Bakugo said back.
Midoriya couldn't help but laugh at them, and even Chloe and Kirishima were happy to see them back together again. Midoriya walked away from Bakugo, feeling much better about them hanging out together. He sat down and noticed Marinette digging through his backpack.
"What're you doing, Marinette?" Midoriya asked her.
"Oh! I was just looking for your upgrades," Marinette said back, "I was wondering since you clearly still have a tiny bit of One for All left inside of you, maybe you can somehow get it to grow or something by eating one of your macarons."
Midoriya's eyes widened, never even thinking about them during hero training. He joined in and helped look for them. Soon enough they found it, and Midoriya opened the box. All of the macarons looked like they were all still intact. There was a tiny piece taken off of the red one from Black Whip.
"Are sure I should try it? I need to probably have one of you activate One for All for me in order to try it," Midoriya asked her.
Marinette quickly transformed into Ladybug without any hesitation. She soon focused on One for All and felt something after a few seconds. Her polka dots glowed pink, and Midoriya felt something come over him.
He was really curious as to what other quirks he might have. But then he remembered the list of quirks that Ladybug wrote down. He remembered one of them being called, Float. As he looked down at the box of macarons, he had a feeling that he should try a piece of the pink one.
Midoriya reached for it and took off a piece of the pink one. He was a little nervous that it wouldn't do anything. He had to know if he could still use his quirk. He was about to try it, when his phone vibrated in his pocket. He held it as he reached to get his phone. Once he saw the contact, he almost dropped it just seeing it.
"Midoriya, what's wrong?" Uraraka asked him.
"I-It's my mom," Midoriya said back to her, "S-She's calling me."
Everyone that was stuck in Paris stiffened up, remembering that they couldn't get a hold of anyone in there. And now Midoriya was finally able to talk to his mom.
Midoriya wondered if she knew about any of this and couldn't wait any longer. He got up to answer it.
"...H-Hello? Mom?" Midoriya said to her.
"My baby! Y-You're here! Oh my gosh! You're okay!" Mrs. Midoriya cried out.
Midoriya could tell that she was already crying through the phone. Just hearing her voice made him tear up a little.
"Y-Yeah mom. I-I'm okay," Midoriya said back as he fought the tears, "I'm guessing you know what happened?"
"Yes! I couldn't believe it! When I heard that U.A. lost contact with all of you guys during the field trip, I didn't know what to do!" Mrs. Midoriya cried out, still crying, "I just... Are you sure that you're okay?"
He couldn't believe that he was hearing his mom's voice through the phone. After what happened in Paris, it felt weird to say the least.
"Y-Yes mom. I really miss you," Midoriya said back, "I would love to see you soon."
"I miss you, too sweetie," Mrs. Midoriya said, "I'd love to see you soon, but I know that you're probably busy with school. I'll let you settle down. Besides, I've got some guests here with me that I need to take care of."
Midoriya's eyes widened with shock and confusion. He didn't understand why she had any sort of guests over, much less take care of.
"Guests? What guests?" Midoriya asked her.
"Oh, just a couple of really nice people that came all the way from Paris. Isn't that crazy?" Mrs. Midoriya said to him.
Midoriya's heart felt like it skipped a beat and almost dropped his phone. What she just said really couldn't be what he thought was going on. There was just no way. They don't know anything about Midoriya and where he lives. He had to know who these people were right away.
"Mom? Where or how did you meet these guests?" Midoriya asked her.
"Oh, she's really nice! She accidentally bumped into me and helped me with my groceries. Her and her dad just got here from Paris and lost of their luggage. I felt bad so I took them in until they can find another place to stay," Mrs. Midoriya explained to him.
Midoriya felt his knees buckle, and Ladybug noticed. She ran over there, noticing him looking really pale. She looked really concerned and didn't know what was going on.
"Izuku, what's going on?" Ladybug asked.
"M-Mom... What are your guests names?" Midoriya asked her.
"It's Cerise and Gabi Bianca."
Midoriya was a little confused by the names at first, but realized that Lila definitely wouldn't use her actual name. Neither would Gabriel. But it wasn't like anyone knew them here. Midoriya's heart felt like it was racing as he finished the call with her.
"Alright, mom. Please be careful. There are a couple of villains out there," Midoriya warned her.
"Of course, sweetie. I'll see you later. Cerise would love to meet you soon!"
Midoriya ended the call and felt himself let go of a breath he had been holding. Ladybug comforted him and others came running over to see if he was okay.
"Izuku, what happened?" Uraraka asked him.
Midoriya felt like he was going to be sick, and he really wanted to run over there. He really wanted to make sure those two weren't actually Lila and Gabriel.
But he knew. He knew it was them.
"I-It's Lila and Gabriel... I think they're staying at my mom's apartment."

This was a fun one to write after some hero training! I am surprised with how good this is turning out! It looks like everyone's excited about Class 1-M's rooms! Something's going on with Jirou! It looks like she's still in love with Adrien! She even kissed him!! Midoriya finally gave back Bakugo's Miraculous, and they seem to be getting along finally!
This is where things get interesting! It looks like Midoriya found out about Lila and Gabriel staying with his mom!
