Midoriya's eyes couldn't stop looking at Lila. She was standing there in his mom's apartment. He couldn't even move as she stood there with a sly smile on her face. Even Bakugo was a bit thrown off seeing her there.

"Oh! So you're Izuku," Lila said to him, "You're a little clumsy there, aren't you?"

She reached out her hand towards him, confusing him. It felt really weird to be doing this with her of all people. He remembered her acting a little weird like this in the museum, and she was doing the same thing here as well. Only this time, she was pretending as if they had never bumped into each other ever.

Midoriya was hesitant to have her help him, but then his mom walked into the room. He took her hand, realizing that she was also pretending to be nice so that she could stay here. She pulled him up, almost a little too hard.

Then he spotted someone in the kitchen, helping cook a meal for lunch. His heart skipped a beat, seeing that it was Gabriel. He barely looked at him, knowing full well who he was.

"Izuku, this is Cerise Bianca," Midoriya's mom introduced to him, "She's from Paris, believe it or not. Her and her dad lost their luggage, so I'm having them stay here until they figure things out with a hotel. Cerise, this is my son, Izuku and his friend Katsuki Bakugo. It looks like they are going to be staying with us for lunch."

Midoriya couldn't believe that this was even happening. He already felt like calling Marinette to let her know what was going on.

"It's so nice to finally meet you, Izuku!" Lila said to him with a big smile, "Your mom's told me so much about you. You must be pretty strong and smart to end up in an amazing school like U.A.!"

Midoriya felt so thrown off by her attitude that he didn't know what to say to her. He didn't like the fact that his mom told her stuff about him and wondered what she could've possibly told her. Even Bakugo thought it was kind of off putting.

"U-Umm, yeah. I kind of got kind of lucky with the entrance exam, but after that it worked out really well," Midoriya said, trying to match the same energy.

"Even your friend over there looks pretty strong. Does he go to U.A. too?" She asked him.

Midoriya could tell that Bakugo really hated playing along to whatever she was doing here. They couldn't do anything right now though, so he went along with it.

"Yeah. I do," Bakugo said with a slight growl to it.

"That's so cool! I wish I had a quirk too. Then I could get into a school like U.A.! Your mom even told me how you used to be quirkless," Lila said to him with a sly smile.

Midoriya's heart skipped a beat, not believing what he just heard. He felt sick to his stomach just seeing her here, and now she knew about stuff that she shouldn't know at all.

"M-Mom! W-Why did you tell her that?" Midoriya asked, making it seem like he was more embarrassed than anything else.

"I'm sorry Izuku. I just missed you so much that I kind of babbled a bit," Midoriya's mom tried to explain.

"It's okay. I understand, I'm quirkless too," Lila said back as she stepped closer to him for support, "I was so devastated when I found out that I was quirkless. I really wanted to be a pro hero just like AllMight. Hearing about you and what you've been through is pretty inspiring. Maybe I'll consider looking into a school soon."

Midoriya was still really thrown off by her attitude. He was almost convinced that she had a twin or doppelgänger here in Japan or something. The only thing that brought him back was the fact that she was wearing the Butterfly Miraculous on her chest. Hearing talk about AllMight and what happened to him yesterday almost tempting enough to take the Miraculous from her right then and there.

Bakugo didn't like the fact that she was lying so easily. It actually made him sick to his stomach to see her saying all of things that were all lies.

"Why don't you guys settle down in the living room? Me and Gabi will make lunch," Midoriya's mom said to them.

"Sure, Mrs. Midoriya," Lila said to her, "I'll handle things over here."

Midoriya put his backpack down onto the floor next to the couch, just in case he needed his upgrades. He sat on the couch next to Bakugo as Lila sat on the floor by the coffee table. Even with her sitting on the floor, they still felt that she was the one in control here. Even when Midoriya's mom was away from there, Lila still acted like Cerise.

"So, what's it like in U.A.? It must be pretty crazy with all sorts of quirks there!" Lila asked them.

Bakugo couldn't stand this anymore and stood up to face her.

"You can cut the act, Caterpillar," Bakugo growled at her.

"Caterpillar? That's a weird nickname to call a new friend," Lila said back with a slight laugh.

"What the hell are you doing in Aunti Inko's apartment?" Bakugo growled at her.

"Aunti Inko? I didn't know you two were that close," Lila said back.

Bakugo looked about ready to transform, when Midoriya tried to get him to back off. He realized that she was not dropping the act, not with his mom around.

"Cerise, maybe we can talk in my room," Midoriya said back.

"Sure! Your mom is actually letting me stay in your room for bit anyway," Lila said to him.

Midoriya was a bit thrown by her staying his room, and even felt a bit nauseous. He got Bakugo to stay out here and keep an eye on his mom. He still kept an ear out for anything just in case he needed to get in there. Midoriya got Lila into his room, and he closed his door behind her.

"Are you sure you want to close the door? Won't your mom get the wrong idea?" Lila asked him.

Midoriya felt his cheeks turn bright red and instantly thought of the moment she touched him in the museum. He tried to shake it off, but it wasn't going away anytime soon.

"Alright, Lila. Tell me what you are doing here? In my mom's apartment of all places?" Midoriya asked her with his arms crossed.

"Lila? I told you my name is Cerise. I don't know where you got the name Lila from," Lila said back, "Maybe you're mistaken me with someone else."

Midoriya could see why Bakugo was so annoyed with her at this point. She wouldn't stop pretending to be Cerise, and it was starting to frustrate him.

"Come on, Lila. Stop playing around," Midoriya said through clenched teeth, "You're not quirkless, and you don't want to go to a school like U.A. Stop pretending to be someone you're not. I even saw you in the museum yesterday. You and I both know that we ran into each other there."

That seemed to get Lila's attention. She smiled slyly, and she seemed to understand what he was doing now.

"So, you found me," Lila said to him, finally revealing her true colors, "What are you going to do about it? It's not like you can kick me out or anything. This is your mom's apartment. Not yours."

Midoriya clenched his teeth, ready to take that Butterfly Miraculous away from her. He tried to inconspicuously look around for his Miraculous, but didn't see anything else besides Uraraka's. It was still on her finger. The last time he saw his Miraculous, it was around her belt but it wasn't there.

"I still don't understand why you just had to pick my mom's apartment of all places to stay here. You should've just gone somewhere else," Midoriya said to her.

"Oh and miss out on your mom's cooking. She's a pretty good cook by the way," Lila said back to him, "Her ramen is pretty good, but maybe a little too much soy sauce."

Midoriya couldn't take this anymore and tried to get himself to calm down.

"Leave my mom out of this," Midoriya said through clenched teeth, "She doesn't deserve any of this."

"Oh? Did I hit a nerve?" Lila asked him, "What, did your dad leave or something? I don't see anyone else here. Maybe that's why this apartment is so small and run down."

Midoriya felt something in him snap as he tried to take Uraraka's ring from her. Lila wasn't expecting him to run at her like that and almost felt the ring slip out off of her finger. With her Miraculous off, he had the advantage here and was able to push her against the wall.

"You don't want to do this, Izuku," Lila said, surprisingly calm.

"And why not?" Midoriya asked back, "This is my mom's apartment. You shouldn't even be here."

"Because you're the one that's starting this fight," Lila pointed out.

Midoriya almost had Uraraka's Miraculous, and then tried to take off the Butterfly Miraculous. Lila suddenly yelled out, shocking him. He almost stumbled as he held her against the wall, knocking down a couple of things. Then Midoriya's mom came running in to see Midoriya pinning Lila against the wall. She looked absolutely terrified, which got Midoriya's attention.

"Izuku, what's going on?!" Midoriya's mom cried out, "Let go of Cerise!"

Midoriya felt his heart jump and realized what he had just done. He attacked his mom's guest, and Lila knew what she was doing.

"I-Izuku... He attacked me!" Lila cried out, "I was just showing him my grandmother's locket, and he tried to take it from me. I even told him that my grandmother was a pro hero just like AllMight. When I didn't give it to him, he pushed me against the wall!"

Midoriya couldn't believe what he just walked into. Lila knew how to lie her way out of a situation, and he fell for it.

"Izuku, is this true?" Midoriya's mom asked him with a concerned look on her face.

Midoriya could see Bakugo behind her, ready to transform. He looked at his mom and noticed how hurt and disappointed she looked at him.

"N-No, mom! O-Of course not!" Midoriya cried out, "Cerise is lying! She shouldn't even be here!"

That seemed to make things much worse as Midoriya's mom looked furious at her son.

"Izuku! These are our guests! They lost their luggage and needed a place to stay!" Midoriya's mom cried out, "I was just trying to help them out. You come in and do this to our guests! This is not how I raised you!"

Midoriya almost had Uraraka's Miraculous. It was right there. He couldn't even take it from her now.

"Let go of her, Izuku," She demanded.

Midoriya's eyes widened with shock and never thought he'd be doing this right in front of his mom. He really needed his Miraculous back. She had it on her somewhere, but he couldn't find it. He soon let go of her with Bakugo glaring at Lila behind Midoriya's mom.

"M-Mom. Please, Cerise is not who you think she is," Midoriya said to her.

"Save it, Izuku," Midoriya's mom interrupted him, "I'm really disappointed in you. I'm sure AllMight would not be happy with you either."

Midoriya's eyes widened and felt his heart break, especially once he saw his mom's sad eyes. She left his room, and Midoriya ran after her. Bakugo noticed what had happened and wondered if he'd be able to do something without causing a fight.

"Mom, please. I know that you're just trying to help these people," Midoriya said to her as he stopped her in the living room, "But, they aren't people that should be here. I know them, I met them in Paris."

Midoriya's mom looked a little confused and still didn't understand what he was talking about.

"Wait, she knew you before I met her?" Midoriya's mom asked him, "That doesn't make any sense unless she followed you back to the airport."

Midoriya understood that no one told her or the other parents that they were sent to another Paris. He didn't know if he agreed with that at the moment, but he went along with it for now.

"Yeah, she basically did," Midoriya said back, "Mom, she's a villain. She's the one I said to look out for."

Midoriya's mom's eyes widened in shock, and Midoriya could tell that she didn't want to believe it.

"B-But, she's so nice, and the stuff that she said about her mom and grandmother..."

"It's all a lie, mom," Midoriya said back, "Please believe me. You know I would never hurt someone unless they were doing something they shouldn't be doing."

Midoriya's mom looked at him, and he really wanted her to know that he was looking out for her. Before she could say anything, both of them heard something fall over. It was Lila. She had tripped and fallen over right in front of Bakugo. Something had fallen right out of her pocket and slid over to Midoriya. His eyes shined when he saw it.

It was his Miraculous.

"Are you okay, Cerise? That looked like a hard fall," Bakugo said as he tried to help her up.

"You did that on purpose, you wannabe hero," Lila growled out.

"Me? I didn't do anything. You're the one that has two left feet," Bakugo said back.

Lila growled at him, and then realized what she was doing. Midoriya's mom just saw her trip and was still staring at them both.

"Careful, Aunti Inko is watching," Bakugo said with a smirk.

Then Bakugo noticed her spotting Midoriya holding his Miraculous and patted down her pockets frantically.

"Izuku, that looks like your hero costume," Midoriya's mom pointed out, "She stole that from your room, didn't she?"

Midoriya then noticed how easy this was for him now. He looked at her who was sitting on the floor looking pretty desperate for that Miraculous.

"Yes. She did," Midoriya confessed, "I told you they can't be trusted."

Before he could put his Miraculous on, Lila ran for it and tried to take it from him. Even Gabriel noticed and stopped what he was doing. He almost dropped it because of her, but kept going for it. He tried to hook it onto his belt, but she pulled onto his hair. She wasn't playing around now, and Midoriya knew that she wasn't giving this Miraculous up any time soon.

"There's no way I'm letting you get this Miraculous back now, Izuku! Not when I'm so close!" Lila cried out.

Midoriya tried to get her off of him, but she just wasn't letting up. She even tried to scratch him to get him to drop it.

"Cerise! What is going on with you?!" Midoriya's mom cried out, "Leave my son alone!"

"Back off old lady!" Lila cried out, "I'm not letting your little Izuku get away with something like this Miraculous! I need it!"

Midoriya clenched his teeth as rage built up within him.

"Don't call my mom old lady, Lila," Midoriya growled at her, "Even though she didn't know you, she still cared about you and took you in to take care of you!"

"I don't care about that," Lila said back as she tried to take back his Miraculous, "Just give me that Miraculous!"

Midoriya tried to put it back on his belt, but she kept pulling his hair and scratching him. He then looked at Bakugo, and nodded at him. Bakugo smirked and got ready to help out.

"Sparkky, Ignite!" Bakugo called out.

Bakugo then transformed with an orange glow surrounding him. Once he was in his hero costume, Midoriya's mom was in complete shock.

"Wow! I guess U.A. really upgraded their hero costumes a lot recently," Midoriya's mom commented.

Bakugo ran off and grabbed Lila by the arm and flung her into the couch. Lila glared at them and looked down at her Miraculous. Bakugo had a feeling she wasn't playing around anymore.

"Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise!" Lila called out.

Lila was surrounded by a purple glow, and Midoriya's mom was shocked to see her transform.

She had transformed into Chrysalis with her cane at the ready.

Another amazing chapter!

This is a pretty fun chapter! I definitely like where this is going with this one! Midoriya and Lila have a pretty interesting confrontation, but I wanted to play around with how she lies out of a situation. She would definitely pull stuff like this in Japan! She lies about being quirkless makes the most sense because then she doesn't have to prove to have any sort of power. Bakugo and Midoriya getting frustrated with her is kind of funny, mostly Bakugo though!

Midoriya and Bakugo finally facing off against Chrysalis!

More to come soon!
