WHY I'M SO STUPID?
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.
I know, I know, it's been over two years since the last chapter. Life kept happening, and I needed to keep up with things adult related, like bills and such. I'm not going to promise to keep up, since it'll be one that just can't be kept.
Well, here you go, another chapter.

Namikaze Compound
Naruto is in the kitchen, preparing breakfast in bed for Sakura, who is currently going through a few rounds of morning sickness. It had been about two months since he received the news that they were going to become parents, and about a month for his nuts to heal, after Sakura used her kick of anger to turn them into butter.
He has a shadow clone by her side, to help her make it back to bed, whenever Sakura must release whatever chunks, into the nearest toilet. When he asked Tsunade what he could do to help Sakura get through these next few months of challenges, before their child was born, all she did was give some quick advice, and told him to do all that he can do for her.
So here he was, cooking a breakfast that had an 'unique' mixture of ingredients, to satisfy Sakura's current cravings, while Naruto could hear Kurama giving off loud gagging noises, since they could share the same senses. He has another clone making breakfast that he could eat, so that he can go through any missions available, on a full stomach.
Just as he was close to finishing Sakura's breakfast, he got a brief memory message from the clone with Sakura, making one final request to her breakfast. Going slightly green, Naruto went to the pantry to get the requested ingredient, while wondering if the cravings would go away completely, once their child is born. What he made for Sakura was a quiche, mostly veggie, but with a few extras that would make even Choji refuse in an instant upon smell alone. What he retrieved was a jar full of pickles, that he was requested to put on top, whole.
After completing the meal, and putting everything he could away, "Heads up kid," Kurama's voice rang out in his head, "I sense something coming from one of the summon realms, the one with the Toads."
After given a nod, to confirm that he felt it as well, a large puff of smoke appeared out of nowhere. Once it cleared, there stood Fukasaku, one of the great toad sages. After taking a brief look around, the old toad turned towards Naruto. "Hello, Naruto, I hope I am not intruding on anything." he said with a smile.
"Hello Great Toad Sage, it is a pleasure to see you." Naruto replied, with a small bow. "Actually, you just caught me about to have breakfast."
Looking at the tray that Naruto just finished, "My boy, I might be a toad, but are you sure you want to be eating that food?" Fukasaku asked.
"Actually, this is for Sakura, since she is on her second month of pregnancy." Naurto explained. "Good thing she wasn't in the room when you showed up, otherwise she might have launched you through a wall out of shock."
Fukasaku, not looking phased at the expression, "Just another lump to go along with the ones your mother gave me, when she was pregnant with you." He spoke. Turning back towards the food, "Although, I can never understand how human females can stay healthy, after eating food like that, while bearing young."
"I'm not sure if they know either." Naruto said, before picking up the tray. "Now, if you would excuse me for a few minutes, I need to give Sakura her food asap. Since a hungry, pregnant, Sakura, is a very dangerous Sakura."
"Take your time, my boy. What I have to say, can wait." Fukasaku said. After getting a nod form Naruto, before he left, the old toad looked around the place. Some things he can remember, when Minato and Kushia were staying, from the design of the kitchen itself, to the dinnerware in the cabinets. The rest, he can see a touch of the new generation added to the mix, as if to connect the past and the present together.
Once Naruto returned, Fukasaku was glancing at a wall, containing a variety of pictures. "Well, Sakura is now fed, at least for another hour or two." He said, before grabbing his breakfast, gesturing to his guest towards a nearby table.
After both took a seat, Naruto started to eat, while Fukasaku kept looking around, until his eyes came upon a variety of pictures at a nearby wall. One caught his attention, which brought him some fond memories, is the final picture of Minato and a very pregnant Kushina. "There were times that I can recall to where Minato would go to anybody for advice on things, such as fatherhood and raising children, even me." He said, getting Naruto's attention. "Sometimes, even if we are different species, there are times when parents can just sit down, sharing life stories and such. Even sharing a few drinks, although we both stuck to the light stuff, since we were both afraid to deal with our mates while dealing with a hangover."
Naruto gave a slight snort, while thinking about the times when Sakura could become so scary, that Kurama would quickly cut the link as some form of self-preservation. After finishing off breakfast, and catching up on things, Naruto went to put his dirty plates into the sink and created a couple of shadow clones to handle the cleanup. Returning to his seat, "So, what is the purpose of your visit.?" he asked, getting down to business.
Fukasaku gave a small nod, knowing that the point had been put aside long enough. "I came to discuss with you about starting your sage training, although yours would be different when compared to Jiraiya's." He said. "Due to you gaining a powerful bloodline, one connected to whom, the shinobi has labeled, The Rabbit Goddess."
"The Rabbit Goddess?" A voice rang out, causing the two to turn, just as Sakura came in with a tray of her dirty dishes. After handing them to the clone doing the dishes, she took a seat next to Naruto. "I remember reading the stories about her, or rather the myths. That she ate some kind of fruit and became the first person to use chakra. As well as having some kind of connection to the Sage of Six Paths."
"Well, like most myths, they tend to be based on real events." The old toad said. "The Goddess weakened the barriers between our worlds, and the Sage started to help build bridges by teaching them about how to use chakra." Fukasaku pointed towards Naruto's belly, "And Kyubi might remember most of the story better, due to his association with the Sage, that is if he is willing to share that story with you."
Sensing the discomfort from his tenant, Naruto decided to return to the main subject. "So, how would my sage training be any different from the perv's?" He asked.
Not feeling offended at all about what the boy has done, "Well, for starters, you would need to meet with all of the other summons and gain their permission to summon them." Fukasaku stared to explain. "There well be a conference being held by the head of each summons, as well as a sage to serve as advisor."
""In order to keep past grudges from interfering with the meeting, right?" Naruto asked, knowing the obvious reason behind it.
"Exactly, since the ones who have contracts with the Sannin, still have bad blood between them, and since a lot of them are children of sages, none of them would be brave enough to risk our wrath." The Toad Sage said. "Getting back to the topic at hand, you would also be used to help find answer some questions, that would be asked in a private setting."
"And how long is this supposed to last?" Naruto asked.
Tapping his chin for a bit, "When it comes to things like bureaucracy, it could be anybody's guess." Fukasaku answered. "But it could be up to a month, at most, at least I hope."
Sakura had a worried look on her face, contemplating what to say about this. Noticing this, "Don't worry, Naruto well come back alive, but feeling spiritually drained after the whole event." Fukasaku said, lifting her spirits up a bit. "Now I'll take my leave from here, and you well have about a week to get your affairs in order."
Once the toad had left in a puff of smoke, Naruto and Sakura gave each other a look. "You have an appointment with Shizune today, right?" Naruto asked, "To check on the health of the baby?"
"Yes, in about a couple hours." Sakura answered. "And by the time we are done, we would be having lunch." Turning to Naruto, knowing what he is thinking, "Once those are taken care of, you can go talk to Lady Hokage about your upcoming training, while I go visit my parents."
Knowing when he has been beat, "Well, since we have some time to kill, what would you like to do?" Naruto asked.

Hokage's Office-Mid-Noon
Tsunade is sitting at her desk, doing a little light reading. Ever since the elders left the village, the village seems to be finally healing from the rot that has been made by those whom stayed on the job for about a century. Yet, the one thing she is refusing to do, is let this village get too comfortable with the peace, to where it becomes weaker to another invasion. The main reason why Orichimaru was able to get his ready, was due to all of the infighting over Naruto, and his rights as a person.
The book she is reading is on new medical procedures that came to happen, ever since her stint as Hokage started. While there were one or two that were created by her, Tsunade wanted to check out the ones created by other people. Even though most people would call her the best medic-nin in all the nations, doesn't mean that she can't learn something new from somebody else.
Even though her eyes were on the book, her mind was focused on the impending war on the horizon. Once she heard that the elders were able to escape prison, she had a good idea on where they would be going for their revenge, which would be the Akatsuki. Those three wouldn't care if the village were to be removed from the face of the planet, if they can remove those that did them wrong.
This was when a loud knock snapped her out of her thoughts. "What is it?" Tsunade said, while marking the page that she left out.
"Naruto is here to see you, Lady Hokage." Came the voice of the secretary that is filling in for Shizune. "He says that it's important."
"Very well, let him in." Tsunade said, getting up from her seat. After giving her limbs a brief stretch, a wolf whistle rang out of nowhere. Knowing exactly where, and from whom, that it came from, a vein appeared on her head just as she decided to administer some justice on the person responsible.
When he stepped in, it was just as Jiraiya was removing himself from the wall that Tsunade planted him in, with her fist, while Tsunade was giving him the death glare. Knowing that it's just a regular thing, "Excuse me," Naruto said, getting their attention, "As much as I want to interrupt your lover's quarrel, there is something more important to talk about."
