Unaware of the battle that is about to happen at the Tower of Omens, Wheeler had just finished emerging out of the cave entrance from Spidera's lair. As he finally reached the surface, he couldn't help but start to remember the words that the queen of the spiders have given him about the poison that effected Linka. As he continued to approach the surface, the words that Spidera said were making him grow more angry by the minute as well as turning into despair. As he finally reached the green pasture of grass from the forest, he started to wonder off in order to clear his head.
As he continued to walk through the forest, he started to approach a section of the forest that had no sounds coming from it at all. As he tried to call for anyone, he started to realize that he had lost the ability to talk. After a moment or so of walking through the silent forest, he started to come a clearing full of beautiful white horses each with a white horn on their head. After seeing these beautiful creatures, Wheeler started to remember Gi's story about seeing these exact same creatures and the people who were looking after them.
As he was trying to catch his breath from all of the walking he had done, the fire Planeteer decided to rest underneath one of the trees while at the same time started to watch all of the beautiful unicorns just moving around. As he continued to watch the animals, Wheeler didn't realize that two people were coming up from behind him.
"Are you lost young man" An elderly woman spoke.
After hearing the woman speak, Wheeler started to get off the ground and turned his gaze around to the two people who just joined him.
"I'm sorry." Wheeler started to say. "I didn't mean to rest here, I was just a little tired, that's all."
"Young man there is nothing to apologize for." The elderly man started to say.
"But you do seem to be lost in thought." The elderly woman stated.
"In a way I guess you could say that." Wheeler replied in his most honest tone.
"Please tell us what is on your mind, perhaps we may be able to help you."
"I don't know if you can." Wheeler started to say before he took in a deep breath to continue. "The woman that I love and married doesn't remember how we feel about each other and now when I went to get some answers, all I got was more questions and a broken heart."
"Married… Now I remember where I saw you from before." The elderly woman started to say. "You're the young man I saw getting married to the beautiful blonde woman a few days ago."
"That's right, my name is Wheeler." The planeteer stated as he extended his right hand out at the elderly couple.
"Nice to meet you Wheeler." The elderly woman replied as she and her companion both took Wheeler's hand. "We are the keepers of the Unicorns. This is their home and we both watch over all of them as their guardians."
"They are very beautiful, my friend Gi told me about them and I wanted to see them for myself for a while." The planeteer started to say as a tear started to come down from his eyes."
"Wheeler, why are you crying?" The elder man started to ask while seeing the sadness in their friend.
"I wanted to take Linka here to see them as part of our honeymoon, but that was before everything that had happened during the ceremony."
"Yes, we both did see what happened when Mumm-Ra attacked the two of you. "The elderly man started to say. "I am glad that you are feeling better."
"I'd be much better if I had gotten Linka out of Spidera's kingdom before all of this happened." Wheeler started to say while trying to contain his feelings about what happened.
"Wheeler, are you alright?" The elderly woman started to say. "I know that you are sad about what happened to your beloved, but I feel that there is something else that you are keeping buried inside."
"I don't know what you are talking about." Wheeler retorted back while trying not to be rude.
"Young man, you can be open with us. We will not judge you or your actions." The elderly man stated while seeing the pain and frustration on the Planeteer's face.
"I'm not sure that I want to talk about it…. No, I am sure that I don't want to talk about it." Wheeler replied in a much more determined and honest tone.
"Young man, anything you say to us, we will not tell anyone else. You can trust us."
"I'M NOT SURE THAT I CAN TRUST ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN MY LIFE!" Wheeler replied in a angered tone.
"Please Wheeler, just calm down and tell us what you are truly feeling right now." The elderly woman stated.
"What I am feeling right now is that I want to go to the person that I love, but a part of me is telling me to leave her alone." Wheeler started to reply as he started to show tears in his eyes. "I just don't know what to do."
As Wheeler and the two Unicorn keepers continued to have their conversation, one of the Unicorns in the group started to head towards the trio, while at the same time, started to have a strange object glow on it's horn.
As the Unicorn finally reached the trio, it started to nudge the fire planeteer a little with it's beautiful horn.
"What's this? " Wheeler stated as he started to turn his gaze towards the creature that snuck up behind him. "You know, that was very dangerous." Wheeler started to say in a much more calmer tone. "I could have fried you." He added as he started to rub the Maine on the top of the Unicorn's head.
As Wheeler continued to rub the Maine of the Unicorn, both keepers were being surprised by what was happening.
"Do you see that?" The elderly woman stated.
"Yes I do." The elderly man replied.
"What are you two talking about?" Wheeler replied as he continued to rub the Unicorn's Maine.
"Young man, look at the horn." The elderly woman stated as Wheeler started to notice something appearing on the horn of the Unicorn.
As the object finally revealed itself, the Pyro Planeteer started to remove the object, while noticing that it is also the same size as his own Planeteer ring.
"What is this?" Wheeler stated as he finished removing the ring from the horn of the Unicorn. "Is this some kind of ring?"
"That is a special ring my young friend." The elderly man stated.
"It was also worn by a friend of ours years back." The elderly woman started to say in her most honest and surprised tone. "The only other person to wear that ring is the Lord of the Thundercats. He received it after saving our friend here, and it's little one."
"But I didn't know that he was going to give it to you as well." The elderly man stated.
"Maybe our friend knows something about the ring that might help our new friend."
"Maybe, but for now, why don't tell us your story for a while. We both would like to more about you and your friends."
"It is a long story." Wheeler stated as he watched both Unicorn keepers start to kneel down towards the ground and make themselves comfortable.
"We have the time, and maybe we might be able to help you as well." The elderly woman stated as Wheeler started to go down to his knees as well.
"I'll try to explain who the Planeteers are and what our mission is, and how we got here. I just hope the others are doing alright." Wheeler replied as the Unicorn started to kneel down as well to keep his new friend company too.
As Wheeler was about to tell the Unicorn keepers everything that has happened before and after their arrival, out at sea, the Berserker ship started to lay anchor as smaller boats filled with Hammerhand and his crew started to head towards the beach and a confrontation with the red headed Planeteer.
Unaware of the battles to come, Bengali and Gi have finally caught up with the others as Panthro started to place Linka down on one of the Bio-beds inside the medical chamber of the Cat's Lair.
"How is she?" Bengali started to say with Gi right beside him. "Any change?"
"Nope." Panthro started to reply in his most honest and caring tone. "She still hasn't regained consciousness."
"Is there anything that I can do to help Bengali?" Gi started to say while trying to keep her sadness from showing.
"No Gi." Bengali stated while placing his right hand on her left shoulder. "You've already done more than enough."
After hearing those words coming out of the Medical Thundercat's mouth, tears started to emerge on the Water Planeteer's face.
"I feel so bad for what I put her through. I should have left well enough alone." Gi stated while feeling very sad.
"Gi, it is not your fault." A voice stated from inside the room.
"As Gi started to clear her face of the tears, she started to see Wilykit and Wilykat coming towards her with hope on their faces.
"What do you mean that it is not my fault!?" Gi started to yell but in a calm tone.
"Gi, if you are upset because of what Bengali said to you, then you have gotten the wrong idea." Wilykit stated.
"What do you mean by that Thunderkitten?"
"What my sister means is that Bengali is not mad at you and neither are the rest of us." Wilykat started to say as both he and his sister started to take Gi to Linka's bedside. "Bengali just meant that you showed a lot of courage in trying to help your friend regain her memories of Wheeler. Any one of us would have done the same thing to help you out as well."
"But what if I only made things worse?" Gi started to state while showing tears in her eyes. "She is like a sister to me and I…I…" She continued to state until she was cut off.
"That is enough of that Gi." Panthro interjected as he approached Gi while listening to everything. "It is not your fault. If anything I am surprised by how well you and your friends are handling this. This must be very painful for you."
"More than you know Panthro. I literally slapped my best friend in the face and caused her great pain in the process."
"Gi, what you did was maybe for the best." A voice stated from behind.
After hearing the statement, both Gi, Panthro and the Thunderkittens turned their gaze to where the voice was coming from.
As they all turned around, the small group started to see Ma-Ti coming from Bengali's medical office with a look of good news on his face.
"Ma-Ti? When did you get here and what do you mean that what I did was for the best ? What if Linka never recovers?" Gi stated while trying to keep herself calm.
"Gi, you have to calm down and I will explain everything to you." Ma-Ti stated in his most caring tone as he finally joined the others at Linka's bedside. "After you left with Bengali, I had a small conversation with Kwami and Gaia. Afterwards I decided to head towards the medical bay to see if I can use my ring again to try and make contact with Linka's mind."
"And?" Gi asked while trying to control her feelings.
"I think that I was able to hear Linka's thoughts, even though it was only for a moment. The connection was very weak." Ma-Ti replied as he finally sat down with the others and Linka's beside.
"Were you able to hear anything useful?" Wilykit asked while the others waited very patiently.
"I'm not sure, but I think that I heard her say "Do it for Boris" that is if I heard it correctly."
"That is good news." Gi stated with a certain excitement on her face.
"How is that good news Gi?" Wilykat asked with some wonder.
"That is what Wheeler said to Linka in order to help her recover enough to call Captain Planet back in D.C." Gi started to say while the look on her face started to change from sadness to happiness. "That means that Linka is trying to fight whatever is happening to her and hopefully come back to us."
"That may be the case, but we still won't know how she will react once she wakes up." A voice stated from behind the sitting group.
As soon as the group heard the statement, they all turned around to see that Bengali had just joined them while carrying some medical devices to continue more scans on Linka.
"Bengali, how is Linka doing?" Wilykit asked as Bengali started to run his scans on Linka.
"Let's see here." Bengali started to say while looking at the results. "Physically she seems to be fine, but I won't know anything else until she wakes up."
"Isn't there anything you can do for her?" Gi asked while trying to control herself.
"I might be able to wake her up, but I wouldn't recommend it. It would be much safer for her to awaken on her own."
"Bengali, if there is a way to wake her up right away, then please do so." Gi stated with much anticipation in her voice.
"Gi, that would be a bad idea." Wilykit stated while trying to be mindful of Gi's feelings.
"Wilykit, I mean no disrespect but please, back off." Gi retorted in a much angered tone.
"GI!" Wilykat shouted while trying to keep his voice down. "Don't tell my sister to back off." He continued in a much more calmer tone. "Bengali and my sister are correct about how to handle Linka's condition."
"Wilykat, I don't want to hear anymore about-"
"Gi, listen to me! If Bengali did try to force your friend to wake up, it could cause more damage to her. Besides, aren't you Planeteers about caring for each other and the planet? Is this what Gaia taught you about?" Wilykat stated while trying to be reasonable with Gi.
After hearing Wilykat's explanation, Gi almost immediality fell to her knees in order for her face to match up with the Thunderkittens.
"Wilykit, Wilykat." Gi started to say in a much more softened and caring tone. "I'm…I'm sorry for the way I reacted. You were right about everything. Gaia did train us to be caring for everyone no matter what the situation. I should have remembered that. Please forgive me." She stated as Wilykit came over to Gi and gave her a hug.
"Gi." Wilykit replied. "Of course I forgive you. Linka is your best friend as well as your sister in your family." The Thunderkitten stated as Gi released her from the hug.
After Gi had released the Thunderkitten from their hug, the Water Planeteer started to get up on her feet as her face started to see Bengali while he was finishing up his scans.
"Bengali, Ma-Ti, will Linka recover?" Gi asked as both the Medical Thundercat and the South American as they finished their conversation.
"Gi, Linka will be just fine." Bengali started to say. "According to these latest readings, she should wake up in just a few hours or sooner."
"And I'll try to re-establish contact with her and Wheeler to tell him the good news." Ma-Ti added.
As everyone was finishing up their discussions, they all started to hear a voice on the Cat's Lair intercom.
"ATTENTION ALL THUNDERCATS AND PLANETEERS!" The voice started to say. "PLEASE REPORT TO THE CONTROL ROOM RIGHT AWAY! THERE IS AN UNDIFINITED SHIP HEADING OUR WAY AND IT APPEARS TO BE DAMAGED!" The voice completed and the intercom went dead.
"We all better get moving." Panthro stated as he and the others started to head towards the exit doors.
"What about Linka?" Gi started to say. "Shouldn't someone stay here with her in case she wakes up?"
"Tell you what Gi." Bengali started to reply as he took a seat near Linka's bedside. "I'll stay here and keep an eye on Linka while the rest of you head back to the control room."
"You sure about that Bengali?" Panthro replied.
"I'm sure Panthro, now you all better get going. I'll let you know of any developments."
"We'll also stay and try to help out Bengali with Linka." Leia stated as she and Nayda went straight to work.
"Thanks Bengali." Gi replied as the entire group minus Bengali left the medical bay and headed back towards the control room.
As Panthro, the Thunderkittens, Ma-Ti and Gi started to leave the conference room, moments later, Tygra, Pumyra, Snarf, Lion-O and Cheetara also started to leave to heads towards the hanger to continue the repairs on the Thundercats badly damaged vehicles as well as try to protect them from their new enemy's weapon.
As Tygra and the others started to move ahead, Lion-O used his right hand to grab hold of Cheetara's left hand and stopped her in the hallway.
"Lion-O." Cheetara started to say. "Is everything alright?"
"I don't know Cheetara. Something feels off but I just can't figure it out." Lion-O replied in his most honest tone.
"Maybe you are still thinking about our kiss from before." Cheetara stated while placing her right hand on Lion-O's face and started to glide it down.
"No. It's not that Cheetara." Lion-O replied as he took his left hand and placed it on Cheetara's right hand. "Ever since that nightmare, I kept feeling that something bad was going to happen. I just don't want that vision to happen. I-" Lion-O started to say until he was cut-off.
As Lion-O was about to finish his sentence, Cheetara started to give him a very passionate kiss on the lips in order to help the Lord of the Thundercats calm down.
"Are you alright now Lion-O?" Cheetara asked after removing her lips from the kiss.
"I think so Cheetara." The lord of the Thundercats stated before continuing. "Why did you do that for anyway, not that I am complaining?"
"I wanted you to know how much I care for you and you should also know that we are all here for each other no matter what happens. We have been through a lot since leaving our home, going back to New Thundera, and then deciding to come back here for good." The cheetah-like Thundercat started to say as she took Lion-O's left hand and her own right hand, and moved both of them in the middle." We have also changed a lot in those years, especially you."
"Me?" Lion-O stated with a bit of confusion. "How have I changed?"
"When we first left Thundera, you were only a small child, but then we all had to go into the suspension capsules in order to survive our space trip to our new home. Also remember what Jaga said before we went into our sleep."
"Yes. He said even though the suspension capsules slow down the aging process, some aging does take place."
"Right. When we finally arrived here you were a very handsome man, and I couldn't help starting to fall in love with you. And over the months since and even after your anointment trials my feelings were starting to grow much stronger as well. You have also matured over the years."
"How have I matured?"
"You used to be a little headstrong, arrogant, and a little to quick to act. Maybe even a little cocky"
"I'll admit, back when we first crash-landed I wasn't really ready for the responsibility of being the Lord of the Thundercats." Lion-O started to say as he moved Cheetara's left hand with his right towards his face. "But thanks to everyone, and the lessons you have all teached me, I feel that I am a much better leader than before. But I know that there are more lessons about life that I need to know, and I would like to learn them from you." He finished as he kissed Cheetara's hand that he had risen towards his face.
"I would be happy to teach those lessons to you, but after we help our friends find Wheeler and help Linka regain her memories." Cheetara replied as she took both their hands back down.
"Your right. I guess I still have to learn some patience." Lion-O replied with a little chuckle and a smile.
"Don't worry. I'll teach you everything you need to know but later., but right now I'm going down to the hanger to help Pumyra and Tygra while they are both working on the vehicles." Cheetara stated as she gave Lion-O another romantic kiss on the lips before she started to release her hands from his.
"Right, and I better go and check in on Lynx-O and see how Snarfer is doing at the Tower." Lion-O replied as he started to see Cheetara walk away from him.
While Lion-O and Cheetara were having their little discussion, Lynx-O finally reached the main control room of the Cat's Lair. As he started to sit down at the main monitor screen, he started to press a few buttons in order to contact the Tower of Omens, where young Snarfer has been taking care of things.
"Cat's Lair to Tower of Omens… Come in Tower of Omens." Lynx-O stated as the main display screen started to come alive.
After a moment, the main display screen started to show young Snarfer inside the Tower's main control room.
"This is Tower of Omens, Snarfer here." Snarfer replied. "Lynx-O!" Snarfer shouted in a most excited tone. "It is sure good to hear from you, yup sure is, yes sir."
"Calm down my friend." Lynx-O started to say while chuckling a little. "I'm sorry that myself and the others are still here at the lair, but we needed to stay to help our new friends out."
"I understand that, yup, sure do. Just one question, how long are you going to be away… Snarfer…Snarfer." The furry animal stated while trying not to show any signs of being afraid.
"Not long my friend, in fact I have some good and bad news, I'm afraid."
"Brrr, what is it, it can't be all bad. Yup sure it isn't I hope."
"Relax my friend, Linka has regained consciousness, but for some reason her memories of Wheeler and what they mean to each other have somehow been blocked off."
"If that was the good news, then what is the bad news?"
"Wheeler has apparently left on his own to try and get some answers. His fellow teammates are very worried about him."
"How can I help?" Snarfer replied in his most excited and helpful tone.
"Can you try and use the Tower's sensors to locate him. Ma-Ti tried to use his ring's power before, and somehow Wheeler blocked him out."
"Snarfer…Snarfer… I'll try and do that, yep sure thing, you betcha, but it will take a while for the scanners to find him. Lynx-O, if I may ask. Where was Wheeler when you lost contact with him?"
"We believe that he was down in Spidera's kingdom."
After hearing those words from Lynx-O, a cold chill started to effect Snarfer as he continued to get more information.
"Are you alright my friend?" Lynx-O asked as he started to sense something wrong coming from Snarfer.
"Just hearing about that place gives me chills. Yup sure does, yes sir."
I wouldn't worry about it my friend, now what about trying to locate Wheeler."
"I'll start working on that right away."
"Thanks Sarfer." Lynx-O stated in his most honest tone. "Contact us when you've located him." He added before the image of Snarfer on the screen disappeared. "I sure hope that Snarfer can find Wheeler." Lynx-O started to state in his most worried tone. "I feel that something is off but I just can't figure it out right now.
After a moment, the communications relay from the Tower started to activate, as if it was receiving a message.
"Snarfer couldn't have found Wheeler so quickly. I'd better see what is happening." Lynx-O stated as he started to push a few buttons on the main control panel.
As soon as Lynx-O started to place the image of Snarfer on the main display screen, the image completely disappeared, but only for a moment.
"Snarfer, this is Lynx-O. What happened, your signal dropped out for a moment?" The blind Thundercat stated with much concern.
"Lynx-O." The new image of Snarfer started to say. "Sorry about that, it seems that there was a malfunction in the security system. Yup, sure looks like it, you betcha ya."
"Well I hope that you have everything else under control my friend." Lynx-O stated in his most honest tone. "Any luck finding Wheeler?"
"Not yet, but I will let you know once I've located him. Yea sure you betcha ya."
"Thank you my friend." Lynx-O replied while laughing a little. "Cat's Lair out." The Thundercat finished as the image disappeared from the screen.
After a moment Lion-O started to enter the main control room as Lynx-O was continuing to try and locate Wheeler.
"Any luck Lynx-O?" Lion-O stated while approaching the blind Thundercat at the main controls.
"Not yet I'm afraid." Lynx-O started to state in his most honest and worried tone. "I've asked Snarfer to help with the search, but so far nothing yet. And what about you? Anything interesting happen to you?"
"Me? What do you mean?" Lion-O responded with a bit of shock in his tone.
"Lion-O, I may be blind, but that doesn't mean I can't sense certain things." Lynx-O replied as he started to turn his chair around towards Lion-O. "Is there something going on between you and a certain female Thundercat?" He asked as Lion-O's face started to turn a slight red.
"How did you know about me and Cheetara?"
"I've sensed her feelings towards you even after our new friends arrivial, but I didn't want to say anything."
"Thank you for not saying anything. Cheetara and I still have a lot of things to work out between us."
"And your feelings towards her?"
"I love her. That has never changed, even after she saw me all grown up for the first time after we crashed here. I still fell in love with her, but I had a lot of growing up to do."
"And now?"
"I still have some growing up to do, but Cheetara said that she would help me figure everything out after our current situation is taken care of."
"Now that is a good idea."
"Cheetara agreed with me about that as well. Now maybe we can-"
As Lion-O was about to continue his sentence, the Sword of Omens's Cat's Eye started to glow white as well as begun to roar.
"Lion-O, the sword." Lynx-O stated as they both heard the warning signal.
"On it my friend." Lion-O replied as he pulled the sword out of the Claw Shield that was attached to his right leg. "Sword of Omens…Give me sight beyond sight."
No sooner did Lion-O say the command, the sword's cross bars started to curl as Lion-O finished placing the sword right in front of his face. As soon as he finished placing the sword, the Lord of the Thundercat's eyes started to open wide in order to see what the sword needed to show him. As he gazed into the sword, he started to see the image of the Tower of Omens, but he also started to see that nothing was wrong. A moment later, a blinding flash of light came out of nowhere and completely blinded the sword, causing Lion-O to take the sword away from his eyes.
"Lion-O? What happened?" Lynx-O stated after sensing what has happened.
"I don't know, some kind of light." Lion-O replied as he re-positioned the sword.
After placing the sword back into position, Lion-O then started to look through the curled cross bars in order to see what was happening. As he looked all he could see was some kind of orange and white wall of energy, completely blinding the sight away from the sword.
"I can't see anything now." Lion-O stated as he lowered the sword. "Something must be blocking the sword's power of sight."
"Let me see if I can pickup something." Lynx-O stated as he turned the chair back around towards the main monitor.
As Lynx-O started to press the buttons on the control panel, all of the systems started to go completely crazy for a moment and then suddenly stopped.
"Lynx-O, what's happening?" Lion-O asked in his most worried tone.
"I don't understand."
"Understand what?"
"All of the signals from the Tower of Omens have just completely stopped."
"Could it be an equipment problem?"
"Not possible. All signals to and from the tower has just stopped with out any reason."
"Something is not right here."
"I agree. First Snarfer calls here and then tells me that there was a system malfunction, and then your sword's vision is blinded and now all transmissions from the tower are down. Something weird is going on here."
"Can you try and get the signals back?" Lion-O asked while trying to keep his nervousness from showing.
"I'll see what I can do." Lynx-O replied as he started to try and re-establish contact.
"All of this doesn't make any sense."
"How so? If you don't mind an old Thundercat asking."
"Lynx-O you are not old. I am just trying to figure out what end game Mumm-Ra's newest allies have in store for us. First the attack on our friends and a strange beam that seems to target and overload our vehicles' power supply and now loosing contact with the tower. We're missing something but I just can't figure it out."
"We'll know everything soon enough my young lord, but for now I am starting to pick up a weak signal coming towards us." The blind Thundercat stated as he started to place the image on the screen.
"Can you increase the magnification?"
"No. For some reason, I can't get the image any closer, and what's worse, it would appear that the ship is damaged and heading straight towards the lair."
"Quickly Lynx-O, open the intercom channel. We'll need everyone's help if we have any hope of stopping whatever it is."
"Channel opened."
"ATTENTION ALL THUNDERCATS AND PLANETEERS!" Lion-O started to say. "PLEASE REPORT TO THE CONTROL ROOM RIGHT AWAY! THERE IS AN UNDIFINITED SHIP HEADING OUR WAY AND IT APPEARS TO BE DAMAGED!"
"I'll try to see if I can get the image cleared up any better." Lynx-O stated as the doors to the control room started to open.
As the doors to the control room opened, Cheetara entered the room first with her cheetah-like speed hoping to find out what is going on.
"Lion-O, Lynx-O, what's going on?" Cheetara asked as Pumyra and Tygra also started to enter the control room.
"Lion-O, what is happening?" Tygra asked in his most worried tone.
"We've lost all contact with the Tower Of Omens, and there is a damaged ship coming straight towards us." Lion-O replied as the door once again opened.
As the door finally opened, everyone that was inside the medical bay started to enter into the control room followed by Kwami and Gaia.
"Lion-O, what is going on?" Gi stated.
"There is a damaged ship heading towards us and we can't seem to get a clear enough image."
"Tygra, Pumyra, give me a hand in trying to clear up the image. "Panthro stated while starting to sit down at another station.
"Sure thing." Pumyra replied as she and Tygra also started to sit down.
As all three Thundercats tried to clear up the image, the last of the Thundercats finally entered the control room.
"Snarf… Snarf… What's going on here? I was just about to make lunch for everyone." Snarf stated as he walked in on his two back furry legs.
"There is an unknown ship heading towards us and it seems to be damaged." Lynx-O stated as Snarf approached the main monitor.
"We should have a better picture of it now." Panthro stated as the image started to clear up.
As the image of the ship started to clear up, the look on Snarf's face started to change from confusion to absolute terror.
"THAT'S SNARFER'S SHIP!" Snarf yelled in his most saddened and worried tone.
"What? Snarfer's ship?" Lynx-O interjected as he started to sense the furry Thundercat's fears.
"Snarfer told me that he had gotten a newer Snarf ship cause the one he was using was about to fall apart. Now he is in danger, and I don't know what to do."
"Don't worry Snarf, I know exactly what to do." Lion-O stated as he started to shift his gaze to Gi. "Gi. I need you to assist me in trying to save Snarfer and his ship."
"I'll try, but I don't know what my water power can do." Gi stated while being a little confused.
"You'll see.." Lion-O added as they both started to run out of the control room.
As soon as Lion-O and Gi got out of the control room, they both started to head towards the top of lair while exiting inside the giant mouth of the Cat's Lair's moveable head. As they reached the opening of the head they both started to see the ship carrying Snarfer starting to heads towards the ground.
"It's time Gi." Lion-O stated while moving his sword into position. "Just follow my lead and aim your ring power at the beam."
"What beam?" Gi stated.
"THUNDER….THUNDER….THUNDER… THUNDERCATS…..HO!" Lion-O shouted as the sword started to transform.
As Gi watched, the sword started to complete its transformation from short sword to long sword as well as the cat's eye transforming into the insignia of the Thundercats. After the transformation was complete, a red beam started to emerge from the sword into the night sky with a loud roar, but this time the beam started to change. As both of them watched, the insignia inside the red beam started to change into another beam and started to head towards the ship.
As the beam hit the ship in order to help it arrive at the lair safely, the other engine on Snarfer's ship started exploding causing a massive fire towards the damaged engine. Without a moment to spare, Lion-O shifted his gaze to Gi.
"Do it Gi. NOW!" Lion-O started to shout.
"Alright." Gi replied as she started to aim her ring in the direction of the Sword's energy beam. "WATER!" She shouted as a blue energy started to surround the top of her ring.
As Gi shouted her command, a blue energy aura started to surround part of the Thundercat's water flow underneath the bridge between the Lair and the ground on the other side. As the water started to rise up, Gi started to command the water with her mind to follow the red energy beam and douse both flames appearing on the engines of Snarfer's damaged ship. As the water finally hit their targets Gi started to become distracted, but for only a moment.
"I sure hope that this works." Gi started to think as she continued to concentrate on the task at hand. " I have to stay focused and not let anything distract me." She continued to think as the water finally did it's job as it put out the fires that was near both engines.
After Gi was done with her part, Lion-O used the sword's energy beam to gently land the ship right in front of the lair in front of the two giant claws. As the beam started to disappear from Snarfer's ship, The Lord Of The Thundercats started to shake the sword back into it's shoirt sword form as he also started to change his gaze towards Gi.
"Nice job out there Thundercat." Lion-O stated as he placed his left hand on Gi's right shoulder and used his right hand to place the sword back into the claw shield on his right leg.
"Thank you Lion-O." Gi replied in her most exhausted and honest tone. "I'm just glad it worked."
"Oh?"
"To be honest, I thought we weren't going to make it in time."
"I felt the same way." Lion-O stated as he took his hand off Gi's shoulder. "We'd better make sure that Snarfer is alright before Snarf starts to worry."
"I agree, I don't want to see how a Snarf reacts when he starts to get worried." Gi replied as they both started to laugh a little while they both starter to leave the mouth of the Cat and headed back into the lair and towards Snarfer's ship.
As the Thundercats, Planeteers, and their two guests started to head towards the damaged ship, all of them still had no idea that all of their actions were being monitored by Dr. Blight's computerized companion MEL via the virus that was implanted into their systems some time ago. As they continued to get Snarfer out of his ship, Dr. Blight started to enter the main control room of the Mutant's old headquarters while at the same time, hoping to get a progress report from her favorite computerized friend.
"MEL! MEL! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Blight yelled while entering the main control room.
"Right here my dearest doctor." MEL replied as his digital face started to appear on the main monitor screen.
"Do you have anything to tell me?"
"My dearest doctor, I always have something to tell you." Mel stated as smaller images started appear below MEL';s computerized green face. "It would seem that our little friend as finally arrived at the Lair."
"Excellent." Blight replied while starting to cackle in her most evilest tone. "Now, what about the Warbot? Are you finished yet?"
"The last of the modifications is finally complete. The Warbot is ready to strike the Cat's Lair."
"It's about time micro-brain. I was starting to get bored." Duke Nukem stated as he and Sly Sludge entered the control room as well.
"Yea doc, I want to see those Thundercats and those pesky Eco-Geeks taken care of once and for all." Sludge added.
"We will, we just need to play this battle very carefully." Blight started to say as she took her right hand and tossed a little of her white hair, covering her bad eye. "Remember, the Pyro Planeteer left the lair and Blondie still hasn't got her ring power restored."
"That maybe true, but we shouldn't take any chances and wipe them out." Nukem injected in his most angered tone.
"Not to worry." MEL started to reply. "According to all of my calculations, this attack will finally put an end to all of them."
"It's not that I believe you bit-brain, but I would like to see it with my own eyes."
"I agree with brick brain over here." Sludge stated while trying to be insulting. "Every time we think we have a fool-proof plan, we're the ones who always end up being the fools."
"I never thought I'd ever hear myself say this but, Sludge is correct." Nukem replied to everyone's surprise.
"Nukem agreeing with me on something, now I know we have to get home." Sludge stated in his most insulting tone.
"Once the Thundercats and the Planeteers are destroyed, then we will go home, but for now." Blight started to say as she shifted her gaze towards her computerized friend. "MEL, begin the attack."
"Right away my dearest doctor." MEL replied as he started to issue commands to both the main hanger entrance and to his counterpart inside the Warbot.
"So how long will the machine take to get to the lair and destroy it?" Sludge asked with a hint of curiosity.
"It should take about 10 minutes to get to the lair, thanks to the modification that I have made since it's last attack." MEL replied in his most honest digital voice.
"But don't you think that the Thundercats will be able to see it?" Nukem interjected.
"Not after this command." MEL stated as he started to issue more commands to the Warbot's computer.
As they all started to watch from the control room, the main entrance for Castle Plunn-Darr started to become visible while the Warbot started to emerge from inside. Once outside the castle, the machine then started to emit it's white light once again, making it completely vanish from sight as well making it completely invisible from all tracking devices.
"Hey doc, you better make sure that your smart aleck computer knows what he is doing." Sludge started to say as the Warbot started to disappear from sight. "One slipup and it will be curtains for us."
"Don't worry about a thing my inferior friend." MEL started to say with a smile on his digital face. "I have compensated for every possible scenario that the Thundercats and Eco-geeks could come up with." He added as the image started to shift towards the main camera inside the Warbot. "Now just relax and enjoy the show." MEL concluded as the Warbot was completely invisible from all sensors.
As the Warbot started heading towards the Lair, the Thundercats and the Planeteers finally was able to get Snarfer out of his ship. As they got Snarfer safely out, they all noticed that he was hurt very badly. Probereily when the other engine started to explode. As Panthro started to hold Snarfer in his big blue arms, they all started to take him towards Bengali inside the Lair.
"Bengali." Panthro stated while carrying Snarfer followed by the others. "Snarfer is hurt, can you do anything for him?" He added as he started to place the young Snarf on a Bio-bed next to Linka's.
"Let me see what I can do." Bengali replied as he started to shift his gaze towards Leia and Nayda. "Leia, I need a medical scanner right away and Nayda prepare 4ccs of adrenaline just in case."
"On it Bengali." Nayda replied as she and her sister of the Warrior Maiden tribe started to get everything that Bengali needed to help Snarfer.
As both maidens returned with the supplies, Snarf has just entered the medical bay and started to head right towards Snarfer just as Bengali started his examination.
"Snarfer! Snarfer!" Snarf started to yell as he saw Bengali starting to scan his nephew.
"Snarf, you have to calm down and let Bengali do his job." Lion-O stated as he started to kneel down to his furry best friend.
As Lion-O started to join his furry friend, Snarf started to look at the Lord of the Thundecats with a look of complete helplessness.
"Lion-O brrr, I don't know what to do. I feel so helpless." Snarf started to say in his most upset tone.
"There is nothing that you could have done my friend." A voice stated from behind both Snarf and Lion-O.
After hearing the voice from behind them, both Lion-O and Snarf started to shift their gaze towards both Lynx-O and Kwami who has just entered the medical wing.
"What do you mean that there was nothing I could have done?" Snarf asked with a curious tone in his voice.
"I think what Lynx-O is saying is that no matter what happened, you just couldn't prevent this from happening." Kwami replied in his most honest tone.
"Your right about that Kwami." Lynx-O replied in his most honest tone. " Snarf, even if you were with Snarfer when it happened then the two of you would be in the same boat. Just have some patience and let Bengali finish his scans." Lynx-O added as Snarf started to shift his gaze back towards Snarfer.
"Snarf… Will you be alright?" Lion-O asked in his most caring and honest tone.
"I'll be just fine when Snarfer wakes up."
"Then you should start to feel happy right now uncle Snarf." A voice stated from the medical bed.
After hearing his voice, Snarf started to get more excited and leaped onto the bed with his nephew.
"SNARFER! IF YOU DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT TO ME AGAIN, I AM GOING TO KILL YOU! I AM GETTING TO OLD FOR STUNTS LIKE THIS!" Snarf yelled as he started to see Snarfer move around as well as raise his furry head up.
"Sorry uncle Snarf." Snarfer started to reply. "But what happened to me was no stunt."
"I'm incline to agree with Snarfer." Bengali stated while finishing up his scans. "Snarfer has a slight concussion and a little smoke inhalation, but other than that he should make a complete recovery."
"That's good to hear." Lion-O started to say as he started to get up on his feet. "Now Snarfer, do you think you can tell us what happened to you?"
"Why don't you ask Lynx-O." Snarfer started to say in an angry tone. "I told him what was happening and he did nothing to help."
"Snarfer, what are you talking about?" Lynx-O replied in a most confused tone. "Told me about what?"
"I told you that the tower was under attack and you told me that help was on the way. That is what I am talking about."
"Snarfer, you didn't tell me that."
"ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR?!" Snarfer stated in a much more angered tone.
"No one is calling you anything Snarfer." Lion-O stated while trying to figure out what is happening. "But we do need to figure out what happened. Now please tell us what happened to the Tower."
"Lion-O… The Tower of Omens….It's….It's." Snarfer started to say while trying not feel any sadness towards his failure. "It's been destroyed."
"What?" Panthro started to say. "But that's impossible. Tygra and myself made sure that the Tower was more sturdy after Mumm-Ra destroyed it the first time. There is no way it can be destroyed again."
"It is Panthro. I failed the Thundercats by allowing it to happen. I'm sorry." Snarfer started to say while tears started to show on the furry animal's face.
"Snarfer my friend." Lynx-O started to say in his most honest tone. "There was nothing that you could have done. You've made the right decision in coming here and telling us what happened."
"Don't talk to me you traitor!" Snarfer stated while still feeling angry and sad about what happened to the tower.
"That is enough nephew." Snarf stated while starting to get very angry at his nephew. "Don't you dare talk to Lynx-O or any other Thundercat in that tone. Do you understand?"
"I understand." Snarfer replied while starting to feel a little ashamed for his actions. "Lynx-O, everyone, I'm sorry for my outburst."
"It is alright my furry friend. Now let's try to piece together what exactly happened to the tower."
After the statement made by Lynx-O, the youngest and furriest Thundercat, started to explain to the rest of the Thundercats and Planeteers what exactly happened to the Tower and the strange creature that attacked him.
A moment after Snarfer had completed telling the other what exactly happened to the Tower Of Omens, the look on Panthro and Tygra's faces was one of complete surprise and shock.
"Snarfer, are you telling us that the machine that attacked the tower had a giant metal beak on it's face?" Tygra asked while hoping his hypothesis wasn't correct.
"Yes. I'm afraid so." Snarfer replied in his most saddened tone.
"Panthro, you know what this means." Tygra stated while looking at Panthro who had both his bluish arms across his chest.
"It seems that the Planeteers enemies has rebuild the Mutant's old Warbot." Panthro replied in his most honest tone.
"Panthro, Tygra, I don't mean to be rude." Kwami started to say in his most curious tone. "But what is this Warbot that you both are talking about?"
After the statement made by Kwami, Lion-O started to explain what the Warbot is.
"Kwami." Lion-O started to say. "The Warbot is a machine that nearly destroyed the Thundercats years ago. You see, when the Thundercats tracked down a sort of time machine from our old spaceship, I accidentally got caught in the image."
"What happened after that?" Gi stated while listening to everything that was happening.
"After I was caught in the image of our old home back on Thundera, I was somehow transported there. Once there, I started to head towards our old Capital City while our people was starting to evacuate the planet. After walking for a few moments, I saw the leader of the Mutants, Slive attacking my father Clovis inside our old home. After making sure that Slive got away from my father, he managed to give me a copy of the plans for the Warbot that was copied by one of our spies. After that the Opti-crystal that brought me to the Thundera of the past brought me back in order to stop the Mutant's plan and destroy the Warbot."
"What happened to your father?" Ma-Ti asked while sensing Lion-O's pain.
"After Clovis gave me the plans, he started to make sure that our flag ship was safely navigated away from Thundera before it exploded. I thought that my father was killed in the explosion."
"What happened to your father Lion-O?" Gi asked in her most caring tone.
"My father was transported to another dimension where he was a prisoner of an old enemy. I was sent there as well via a trap set by Mumm-Ra. I was able to free my father as well as return to Third Earth to defeat the Mutants attack."
After Lion-O finished telling his story, Panthro and Tygra started to have a weird look on their faces as if something wasn't right.
"I don't understand." Panthro stated.
"I am also confused Panthro." Tygra added.
"Care to let the rest of us in on the conversation?" Ma-Ti interjected.
"We are trying to figure out how your enemies were able to re-construct the Mutant's Warbot." Tygra stated.
"The last time we saw it the machine was in a million pieces." Panthro added.
"The Eco-Villains are very resourceful when it comes to causing trouble." Kwami replied in his most honest tone.
"Panthro, do you think that it might be possible that the Mutants had the original plans in their computer at Castle Plunn-Darr?" Gi asked in her most curious tone.
"It is a possibility, and if it is, then they must have built it the same way as before leaving the weak spot visible." Panthro replied in his most confidant tone.
"Weak spot?… What weak spot?" Both Kwami and Gi asked.
"There is a small weak point at the bottom of the Warbot's right leg. It is used to power up the machine with energy from the Mutant's own fusion reactor." Panthro stated.
"But what if they have already found out about the weakness and figured out another way of powering up the machine?" Ma-Ti asked while hearing the conversation.
"It is possible, but what would they use for power. It would have to be pretty strong to control that machine." Tygra replied in his most honest tone.
"Snarfer…Snarfer… All I know is that machine hit the Tower with some kind of powerful energy beams that completely shorted out all of the systems inside the tower, as well as somehow weakening the Tower's own Thundrillium power supply." Snarfer added while trying to regain his strength.
"It could be the same beam that disabled the Thundertank as well as the Thunderstrike." Lion-O added.
"If it is the same beam then we might have some trouble with it. I still don't know how to protect our systems from that type of beam." Tygra stated in his most worried tone.
"We have to figure out something." Panthro stated while starting to get a little angry. "We can't let what happened to my tank happen to the Lair."
"We won't my friend." Lynx-O stated while starting to sense something."
"Something wrong Lynx-O." Lion-O stated as he started to see the ears of the blind Thundercat start to light up.
"I'm…I'm not sure." Lynx-O replied.
After Lynx-O's response, Cheetara started to feel strange as she started to loose her balance.
"CHEETARA!" Lion-O shouted as he caught the Cheetah-like Thundercat before she fell to the floor. "Are you alright?" He asked while moving some of her hair from her face.
"I… I don't know." Cheetara replied as Lion-O started to help her back to her feet.
"Everything alright Cheetara?" Kwami asked with much concern.
"I started to sense something and then some strange force caused me to loose my balance."
"We better get back to the main control room and see what is happening out there." Panthro stated as all of the Thundercats and Planeteers left the medical bay except for Bengali, Linka, Snarfer, Snarf, Leia and Nayda.
While the Thundercats and the Planeteers were starting to head towards the main control room, back in the forest clearing, Wheeler had just finished tell both Unicorn keepers the story of who the Planeteers are and how they got here.
"And that's how we got here and who the Planeteers are." Wheeler stated while finishing up the story. "I hope that explained everything."
"After the statement made by Wheeler, both of the Unicorn keepers were completely mesmerized by what they both have heard.
"Your explanation about who the Planeteers are and how you got here was quite impressive." The elder man started to say. "I am just sorry that you and your friends were dragged from your home."
"I agree." The elderly woman started to add. "But on a positive note, it was nice to hear that you and the others fight to keep your home safe from any destruction."
"That maybe so but-" Wheeler started to say but then started to look at his Planeteer ring.
"What is the matter?' The elderly woman started to say.
"I just don't know. I…I feel that something is different right now."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Ever since I re-connected with my ring's power, I started to feel strange, as if a new dormant power has started to awaken from within. I'm afraid that if it is happening to me, then it may happen to the others and my wife."
"Young man, if your power is growing as you say it is, then maybe it is for a reason."
"She is right my young friend." The elderly man started to say. "After what you and your friends have been through since arriving here, maybe this new power can help."
"I don't know. The only thing that I know is that my wife hates me and that she doesn't remember that we are married. There has to be a way to get through to her."
"Young man, if there is a way then I'm sure that you and the others will find it." The elderly woman started to say as the Unicorn next to Wheeler started to get back to it's feet.
"What is it?" Wheeler started to say. "What's going on?" He added in a most concerned tone.
"The Unicorn senses something wrong." The elderly man stated as the other Unicorns started to feel the same way.
As the Unicorns started to sense something coming towards them, both Wheeler and the Unicorn keepers started to get back on their feet as the bushes at the north of the clearing started to move.
As both Wheeler and the Unicorn keepers got back to their feet, the bushes in the far north started to reveal the shadows of four strangers coming towards them. As the light from the clearing started to shine on the shadows, they started to reveal who has entered the clearing. As all four of them finally revealed themselves to be the same pirates who attacked and captured Gi when the Planeteers first arrived on Third Earth. As the Berserkers and their captain with his right metal hand and arm cleared the bushes, their leader Hammerhand started to shout instruction to his crew.
"THAT'S THE WHELP!" Hammerhand started to yell. "GET HIM, GET HIM, GET HIM!"
"Captain, what about the Unicorns?" Cruncher started to state. "They are right here and ready to be captured."
"We have our orders. Get the whelp."
"Right away Hammerhand." Ram-bam stated.
"Top-Spinner, try to distract him so Ram-bam can get him." Hammerhand ordered.
"Right away captain." Top-spinner replied as he started to head towards Wheeler and the Unicorn keepers.
As The Berserkers started to head towards the trio, all of the Unicorns started to run away and out of the clearing.
"Our Unicorns!" The elderly woman shouted as the Berserkers started to approach them.
"Quickly, both of you get to safety." Wheeler started to state while he started to raise up his ring." I'll take care of these guys. I owe them for what they all did to Gi." He finished in his most determined tone.
"But what can you do against Hammerhand and his Berserkers?" The elderly woman stated in her most curious tone.
"I don't know, but clearly they are after me, so get your Unicorns to safety." Wheeler replied as a Unicorn approached him.
"I think our friend here wants to help you." The elderly man stated as the Berserkers started to get closer.
"At this point I will take all of the help that I can get." Wheeler replied as he started to climb on the Unicorn's back. "Now get your Unicorns out of here." He added as he started to head towards the Berserkers on his new friend's back.
As Wheeler started to get on the Unicorn, all of the Berserkers and their Captain stopped in their tracks, while trying to figure out what was going on here.
"Captain.. What is this?" Cruncher stated while being confused.
"I'm a little confused as well." Ram-Bam added.
"Is it some sort of trick?" Top-Spinner added.
"I don't care what it is you fools, just get that whelp." Hammerhand stated in his most demanding tone.
As all of the Berserkers and Hammerhand were having their conversation, Wheeler and the Unicorn approached both Ram-Bam and Top-Spinner at full speed.
"Captain, are those two crazy?" Cruncher stated as Wheeler and the Unicorn started to get closer by the second.
"STOP THEM! STOP THEM! STOP THEM!" Hammerhand shouted as Wheeler and the Unicorn was right in front of them.
As Wheeler and the Unicorn approached the Berserkers, Wheeler's thought's started to become those of being very panicked.
"I don't know what you plan on doing, but please I don't want to end up a sandwich with those Berserkers all over me" Wheeler started to think as his new steed did something amazing at the last second.
As Wheeler watched while riding, the Unicorn started to make a giant leap from it's front hine legs and then blasted them both into the air and over both Hammerhand and his Berserkers.
"Nice move there." Wheeler stated as he gently pulled back on the Unicorn's Maine as they both touched base with the ground again.
As the Unicorn started to slow down, Wheeler started to shift his gaze back towards the Leader of the Berserkers with rage in his eyes.
"HAMMERHAND!" He started to yell. "IF YOU WANT ME, THEN COME AND GET ME!" He finished as he gently gave the Unicorn a slight nudge to move off towards the beach.
As Wheeler and the Unicorn started to disappear from sight, Hammerhand started to get very angry at what happened.
"Ca…Captain… Are you alright?" Ram-Bam asked while keeping his distance.
"NO! I AM NOT ALRIGHT!" He started to respond while still being very angry. "EVERYONE! AFTER HIM! I WANT HIM CAPTURED RIGHT AWAY!"
"Yes sir." The Berserkers all stated at once as they all started to chase after Wheeler through the forest and straight towards the beach.
As The Berserkers started to follow both Wheeler and the Unicorn towards the beach, back at the Lair, the rest of the Thundercats and the Planeteers were trying to figure out exactly what Lynx-O and Cheetara had started to sense a while ago.
"Anything Panthro?" Lion-O asked as Panthro started to push some buttons on the control panel.
"Nothing, I'm afraid." Panthro started to say. "Kwami, Gi, Ma-Ti, any luck from your stations?
"Nothing here." Kwami replied.
"Same here." Gi added.
"I have nothing as well." Ma-Ti started to reply in his most honest tone. "I wish that Linka was awake right now. She knows more about scanners and maybe she can help us locate Wheeler."
"I know Ma-Ti." Tygra stated from behind Ma-Ti while trying to help. "Don't worry about Linka, Bengali is doing all he can to help her wake up while trying not to cause any more damage to her memories."
"I know, it's just-" Ma-Ti started to say as the doors to the control room started to open.
As the doors to the main control room finally opened, everyone inside started to see Bengali enter with four other people behind him.
"Bengali, how is Linka?" Kwami started to say as he started to turn around in his chair. "Anything at all?" He finished as he and everyone else got a very big shock.
As the Medical Thundercat finally entered the control room, he started to gesture to the four dark figures to join him. As all four of the dark figures started to step into the light of the room everyone started to see the faces of Leia, Nayda, Gaia and a weakened but determined Linka enter the room.
"LINKA!" All of the Planeteers shouted with glee as they all saw their blonde haired friend enter the room.
Without a second to loose, all the Planeteers quickly got off their chairs and started to give Linka the best hug that she had ever gotten.
"Nyet you guys." Linka started to say as the rest of her team started to suffocate her. "If you don't let me go, you are all gonna kill me." She finished as the others started to release her.
"Linka…but how? When did you wake up, and why didn't anyone tell us?" Gi stated while trying to keep her anger and excitement down a little.
"Linka started to wake up moments after you all left the medical bay." Bengali started to say. "I was going to call you but Linka wanted to know what was happening right away."
"Bengali's quite correct." Gaia started to add. "I was on my way to check in on Linka when I saw her start to move and wanted to help."
"That's great news." Kwami started to say. "But Linka, how are your feelings towards Wheeler? Are they any better?" He finished while asking in his most curious tone.
"I'm afraid I don't know what you mean by that Kwami." Linka started to say with confusion in her tone. "My feelings towards Wheeler? I know that he is our friend, but that is all he is."
"Linka, you can't just stand there and tell us that you have no romantic feelings for Wheeler." Gi started to say while trying to restrain herself. "You and him are married. You must remember that. He also risked his life for yours on several occasions. You just can't forget all of those either."
"Gi, I know that Wheeler has saved me on occasion, but it is just what that Yankee does to get attention. I also know that we are not and nor will never be married" Linkla replied in her most honest tone.
"That is not true Linka." Ma-Ti started to say." I know Wheeler, he is like my big brother and I can tell you for certain that he loves you very much." He finished in his most honest tone.
After Ma-Ti's statement, their leader Gaia start to approach the Planeteers after hearing most of the conversation.
"Planeteers." Gaia started to say. "Give Linka some time to fully recover. She is still a little weak from waking up in the medical bay."
"I agree with Gaia." A voice stated from behind the Planeteers.
After hearing the statement from behind them, Kwami, Ma-Ti and Gi all started to turn around to see that Lion-O and Lynx-O were standing right behind them.
"I also agree with Gaia." Lynx-O started to say with wisdom in his tone. "Linka may be awake right now and up to walking around, but you shouldn't try to push her so hard. Doing so might do more harm then good."
"But she is our friend and partner." Gi started to respond in her most determined tone. "We have to try and make her remember her feelings for Wheeler."
"I understand what you are trying to say and do Gi." Lion-O started to say as he placed his right hand on Gi's left shoulder. "Just answer me this question: What you do if the medical people on your home planet told you to follow instructions in order to help Linka. Would you do as they say, or would you ignore them and do what you wanted."
After Lion-O's question, Gi started to slowly understand what the lord of the Thundercats was talking about. After a brief moment, the Water Planeteer started to answer back.
"I think I see what you are trying to tell me Lion-O…. I'm sorry for my actions." Gi replied in her most honest tone.
"It's alright Gi." Lion-O replied as he lifted his right hand off of Gi's left shoulder before shifting his gaze towards Linka. "Linka, I know that you might not be feeling up to this, but we have a problem that maybe you can help us out with."
"What is it Lion-O?" Linka replied.
"Something weird got Cheetara and Lynx-O's sixth sense to go off and we are trying to find out what it is, unfortunately we are currently detecting nothing out there."
"It maybe something that our sensors can't detect." Lynx-O added.
"Da, I think that I might be able to help you with that." Linka replied as she started to head towards one of the smaller scanner stations on the right side of the Lair's main control room.
As Linka was trying to walk towards the station, she started to loose her balance and started to fall down towards the floor. As Linka was about to hit the floor, Gi was able to reach Linka in time and started to brace her while trying to help her regain her balance.
"Thank you Gi." Linka replied as they both started to head towards the station.
"No problem Linka." Gi started to say. "Look, about what I did in the conference room, I didn't mean for that to happen. I was just trying to-"
"I know Gi." Linka started to say while cutting off her best friend and her sister within the Planeteers. "You were just trying to help me remember. I do appreciate it, but next time, please try not to hit me so hard. I can still feel the pain from your hand."
"I'll try Linka, but I make no promises." Gi replied with a smile on her face.
As Gi and Linka reached that station, the Wind Planeteer was able to sit down at the station's chair and started to get to work on their little mystery. After a moment or two started to pass, Linka started to make a rather bizarre discovery.
"Lion-O, Lynx-O." Linka started to say. "I think that I have found the reason why your systems aren't working correctly." She added.
"Panthro, you'd better take a look at this as well." Lion-O stated as Linka started to show Lion-O what she has discovered.
"What is it Linka?" Panthro asked as he joined the others.
"Take a look at this." Linka started to say as she pointed towards a section on the display screen.
After a moment of silence started to pass, the dark bluish Thundercat started to speak.
"I can't believe it, That's impossible." Panthro stated while in a disbelief of shock.
"What is it Panthro?" Lion-O asked with concern.
"According to what Linka has found, all of our sensor data is being blocked while at the some time false data is being transmitted in."
"Is that possible?" Gi started to ask. "I mean you said that your technology is very advanced so it should be impossible to change."
"Da. That is correct, but something seems to have infiltrated the Thundercat's systems." Linka replied.
"Can you find it?" Lion-O asked.
"Da. But it will take some time."
"Linka, try to repair our scanners while the rest of us will run some diagnostic tests on all other systems." Panthro added.
"I'm on it." Linka replied as she and the others started to work on checking all of the systems.
As Linka and the Thundercats started to run tests on all of the systems within the Cat's Lair, unbeknownst to them all the Eco-Villains' Warbot has just reached the outskirts of the Thundercats Bridge heading towards the lair. As the giant machine was about to move in for the kill, two small groups of people started to cross the bridge, heading right towards the Lair.
As the two groups started to approach the Lair, both groups started to show themselves as they made their way towards the Lair's main doors. The two small groups were made up of two Bulkins and two Wollos whom the Thundercats as well with the Planeteers met while trying to find a cure to help Linka.
"Are you sure that we won't be disturbing the Thundercats Gregory?" One of the Wollos asked withy concern in his tone.
"I'm sure that they won't mind, Bernard." Gregory started to say. "Anyway I thought that Gi and the kittens would like to know that we've almost completed re-building our homes from the fire that she put out."
"Yes, that was quite exciting. I just hope that she is doing alright."
"The Thundercats also helped us out when our home was being attacked by a giant Earth Monster." One of the Bulkins started to say. I thought that we would be goners if it weren't for that Planeteer."
"Yes he managed to get some of our enemies to help us defend our homes and also managed to make a cease fire with them." Another Bulkin stated.
"Our leader wanted to be here but he had other duties that required him to stay in the village."
"I'm just glad that we both met up while heading towards the Thundercats." Gregory stated.
"Same here." Bernard added as he pressed the doorbell on the right side of the doors.
After a moment of waiting, the doors to the Lair started to open while Snarf was on the other side to greet their guests.
"Snarf, Snarf.. Hey there." He started to say. "Is anything wrong?"
"If it is OK, we would like to speak with the Thundercats and the Planeteers. That is if their not busy at the moment." Gregory stated.
"I know that they all headed towards the main control room for something urgent but I think that I can get them to greet you in the conference room." Snarf started to say in his most honest tone. "If you'd follow me, I'll take you there and then I will get in contact with the Thundercats and Planeteers."
"Thank you Snarf." Gregory stated.
"Yes. Thank you for us as well." One of the Bulkins stated, as they all followed Snarf into the Lair to meet the Thundercats and Planeteers.
As both groups of Bulkins and Wollos entered the lair along wityh Snarf, Wilykit and Wilykat were running down the hall trying to see what was taking the furry Thundercat so long to re-join the others.
"Come on Wilykat." Wilykit started to say while they were both running in the hall. " I want to see what is taking Snarf so long."
"Wilykit, be careful or you might get into an accident." Wilykat stated as they both were just about to meet up with Snarf and his guests.
"Don't worry about me Wilykat. You just make sure that you-" Wilykit started to say until she got cut off.
As both the thunder kittens continued to run down the hall, they started to collide with Snarf while he was escorting their quests to the conference room.
"Ow." Snarf started to say while trying to get his bearings back together. "What in the name of Thundera hit me." He added while still in some pain.
"Sorry about that Snarf." Wilykit stated as she was the first to run into Snarf while her brother was able to slow down enough to stop. "Wilykat and I was wondering what was taking you so long and I guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I'm sorry."
"Brrrrr. You have got to be more careful Wilykit." Snarf started to reply in his most disappointed tone. "You could have hurt me and our guests." He added as he started to point towards the Bulkins and the Wollos.
"Gregory!" Wilykat shouted with some surprise. "What are you doing here?"
"My friends, we wanted to come and see how your friend was doing." Gregory started to say. "And also to see if you've had any luck with those papers that we gave you."
"Uh oh." Wilykit stated with a little surprise in her tone.
"Something wrong?"
"I'm afraid so. In all of the confusion and excitement, we've forgot to ask Bengali to help us out with your medical papers. I'm sorry." Wilykit replied in her most saddened and honest tone.
"It's alright Thunderkitten." Gregory started to say in his most understanding tone. "I was also wondering how your friend Gi was doing as well. I know that she looked very weak after what happened in our village."
"Gi's fine Gregory." Wilykat replied. "She just needed some rest and now she is doing much better."
"I'm glad to hear that."
"So am I." Bernard started to say. "I also wanted to apologize for what happened with the townsfolk. Thinking that she was a witch because of what that other stranger started to say."
"It's alright. From what we've been told, that Sludge person is a master of deception. There is no need to apologize, you only did what you thought was best under the circumstances."
"But the way that she was able to put out those fires was nothing short of amazing."
"The way you two are describing this Gi person, seems to think that you both see her as some sort of God." One of the Bulkins stated with some concern in his tone.
"It is not that my friend." Gregory injected before things started to get complicated. "She just has a special connection to her element, and her element is water."
"That almost sounds like something that a god would do."
"Well she isn't a God." Snarf started to say while the Thunderkittens started to nod their heads. "She is a called a Planeteer and she is also a member of our Thundercat family. So you better stop this and show her and the others the same courtesy that you show us."
"Sorry about that Snarf. I didn't mean and disrespect."
"Snarf…Snarf… It's OK." Snarf stated as he started to get back to his feet and open the doors to the conference room. "Now all of you , please step in and take a seat." He finished as both the Bulkins and the Wollos entered the room.
"Brrrr. Wilykit, please let Lion-O and the Planeteers know that some of our Third Erath friends are here to see them." Snarf stated as he started to lead everyone into the conference room.
"Sure thing Snarf, but we also have a small problem in the control room." Wilykit stated while walking with Snarf into the conference room.
"Problem? What problem?"
"It would appear that something unknown has effected our computer systems and is sending us false information."
"Snarf…Snarf… How could this have happened?" Snarf asked in his most confused and worried tone.
"No one knows but Linka is working on trying to figure it out."
"LINKA!?" Snarf yelled in the hall. "I thought that she was still with Bengali in the medical bay."
"She showed up with Bengali moments after we all reached the main control room. She is there right now trying to help us."
"I hope that she is alright."
"Bengali said that she still is a little weak but as long as she doesn't push herself to much, then she should be fine."
"Snarf… Snarf… Oh Wheeler, where are you when Linka needs you."
"That's the other problem Snarf." Wilykit took in a small breath before continuing. "Linka still can't remember her romantic feelings for Wheeler."
A Wilykit and Snarf was continuing to have their conversation, Wilykat had just finished helping the Wollos and the Bulkins to take their seats at the conference table while waiting for the Thundercats and Planeteers to arrive. As he continued to see both Snarf and his sister continue their conversation, both the Wollos and the Bulkins started to see the uneasiness starting to show and the young Thundercat's face.
"Is everything alright my young friend?" Gregory asked with much concern.
After the question issued by the Bulkin, the young Thundercat took in a deep breath before he started to speak. "I really don't know Gregory." He started to say in his most uncertain tone. "Wheeler is gone, the Tower of Omens has been destroyed, Linka still can't remember her feelings for Wheeler and now something is jamming all of our systems."
"Calm down Wilykat." Gregory started to say. ""Getting yourself worked up over everything is not gonna do you any good."
"Gregory is right Thundercat, you should just calm down." One of the Bulkins stated.
"I know that you are both right but I-"
As soon as Wilykat was about to finish his sentence, all of the lights within the conference room started to go out for a moment, then suddenly came back on.
"What was that?" Wilykit asked as she and Snarf started to make their way into the room.
"I don't know sis. The lights just suddenly went out and then came back on." Her brother replied.
"Did you Thundercats forget to pay your electric bill?" The other Bulkin stated while trying to figure things out as well.
"Brrrr.. We don't use electricity for the Lair, but maybe there might be a problem with the Thundrillium supply." Snarf stated while being confused.
"What's wrong Snarf? Why do you look so worried?" Wilykit asked with some concern.
"This is what Snarfer told us about before the Tower was attacked. About the power supply somehow being drained."
"Isn't that impossible." Wilykat stated with confusion in his tone. "I mean Lion-O and the others just replenished our power supply a few days ago."
"Brrr.. Normally I'd agree with you on that kitten but don't forget that we have new enemies to worry about , and who knows what they can do with the Mutant's old technology."
"Then we better get back to the control room and tell them what happened here right away." Wilykat stated with determination in his tone.
"You both get back to the others and tell them what happened, also please tell Gi and Ma-Ti as well as Lion-O to see to our guests. I'm going to the kitchen to make them something to eat.
"RIGHT!" Both Thunderkittens shouted as they left Snarf alone with the Bulkins and the Wollos.
As both the kittens started to head back towards the main control room to let the others know what just happened, Snarf was still feeling a little uneasy as the lights again started to go out. After a moment, the lights came back on again inside the conference room followed by some kind of rumbling sound.
"Snarf!" One of the Bulkins started to say while starting to feel a little scared. "What is going on here? Are we safe here?"
"Calm down my friend." Gregory started to say. "This is not the first time that the Thundercats have ran into trouble, and we shouldn't start to panic. If we just stay calm then we should be alright."
"Thanks for that Gregory." Snarf started to say as he started to shift his gaze towards the worried Bulkin. "Now listen, I don't know what is happening here but, whatever it is we will protect and defend our home as well as our friends."
"I believe you Snarf. I'm sorry I started to panic." The Bulkin stated is his most honest tone.
"It's alright, now maybe the four of you can help me whip up some lunch for our friends before we have a wide spread panic happening here."
"Sure thing." Gregory replied as both the Bulkins and the Wollos started to follow Snarf out of the Conference room and straight towards the kitchen.
Moments later inside the kitchen, Snarf was working on one of the recipes that he was taught from the Thundercat's new friends, but as they continued to make lunch for everyone, the lights continued to fade in and out as well as the rumbling sound started to get louder and louder. As they all continued, Snarf started to become lost in thought while trying to perfect the recipe.
"Lion-O." The furry animal started to think. "I wish I knew what to do to help you and the others find Wheeler and also try to help Linka remember her feelings. I also wish that I knew what was going on outside and why I am starting to feel so uneasy."
As Snarf continued to be lost in thought, everyone in the main control room was still trying to figure out what was going on with their systems. Also as Wheeler started to lead Hammerhand and his crew of Berserkers back to the beach, nobody knew that their greatest and most dangerous battles were about to begin.
