As Char and the rest of the Thundercat's allies started to work on repairing the sword, inside his home in the middle of the desert of sinking sand Mumm-Ra plots his next move. As we approach the temple, bolts of lighting continue to spark striking above the small opening of the Pyramid. As we look inside the massive building, Mumm-Ra is cackling in his most evilest tone while a small object is in the center of a small rock table.
"HA HA HA HA !" Mumm-Ra started to yell into the emptiness "Finally something has gone right for a change." He added as he started to look at Zarm and Pollution. "Well done my minions."
"Who are you calling a minion dude?" Pollution retorted.
"Quiet you fool." Zarm added. "My dear Mumm-Ra, now that we've brought you the Eco-Geek, I'll be happy to help with your other problem but first I would like to request something from you."
"And what is that?" Mumm-Ra asked while trying to figure out Zarm's next step.
"I want the Eco-brat's ring for my own."
"No."
"No? What do you mean no?"
"I have other plans for the ring and the Planet-brat."
"NO THAT RING IS MINE TO DO WITH AS I PLEASE!" Zarm started to yell. "WITH THAT RING I AM UNSTOPPABLE AND FURTHERMORE-"
"SILENCE!" The devil priest shouted as he raised his mummified arms and energy bolts started to emit from his hands. "THAT RING AND THE ECO-BRAT ARE MINE TO DO WITH AS I PLEASE. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!" He added.
"Fine, for now." Zarm started to reply. "So what are you going to do with Wheeler anyway." He added as they both started to shift their attention to a person being chained to the left wall with Pollution guarding him.
"Now what form of punishment should I do to this nuisance." Mumm-Ra stated as he used his right hand to grab the lower part of Wheeler's face.
"I can use him for target practice dude." Pollution stated with gleam in his voice.
"No. I have a better idea. My ultimate revenge will be to turn this brat against his friends."
"That won't work." Zarm stated in his most honest and determined tone. "I tried to turn them against Gaia before with my Iron Fists, but she was able to bring them back."
"You didn't have me back then. I am going to erase all of his memories and mold him from scratch." Mumm-Ra replied as he started to return to the center of his home.
"Dude, this is crazy." Pollution started to say. "What does he mean by erasing the Eco-Geek's memories. Is that even possible do to?"
"I'm a bit in the dark as well. But lets us see what develops from this." Zarm stated as Wheeler started to come around.
"Uh…. Where am I? What happened?" Wheeler started to say as he opened his eyes. "YOU TWO!" Wheeler yelled as he started to realize that he has been chained to the wall. "Let me out of here or I am going to burn you both down."
"YOU ARE GOING TO DO NOTHING MY FRIEND!" Mumm-Ra started to yell. "NOT WHILE I HAVE YOUR RING HERE! HA HA HA HA!"
"GIVE THAT BACK TO ME OR I WILL TAKE IT BACK BY FORCE YOU BAG OF OLD BONES!"
"SILENCE!" Mumm-Ra yelled as he fired an energy beam at Wheeler's chest, striking his Thundercat Symbol.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH" Wheeler yelled as his symbol started to be ripped into shreds before passing out from the pain.
"Now that is more like it." He stated as he started to talk to the giant statues. "ANCIENT SPIRITS OF EVIL, GIVE ME THE POWER TO ERASE THIS PLANETEER'S MIND AND MAKE HIM MY LOYAL SERVANT FOREVER.!" He shouted as the statues eyes started to turn red.
"MUMM-RA…." The statues started to yell back in their most darkened tone. "IN ORDER TO ERASE THIS PERSON'S MIND, YOU MUST CORRUPT SOMETHING THAT IS VERY SPECIAL TO YOUR VICTIM AND THEN MAKE SURE THAT IT NEVER COMES OFF! ONLY THEN WILL HE BE YOURS TO CONTROL! ALSO, WE KNOW ABOUT YOUR OTHER SCHEME!"
"SCHEME?! WHAT SCHEME?!" Mumm-Ra replied in horror and shock.
"THE GOLDEN SPHERE IS NO MORE, SO DON'T EVEN TRY TO GET IT BACK! IF YOU DO THEN WE WILL BE VERY ANGRY!"
"NO! OF COURSE NOT ANCIENT ONES!" Mumm-Ra replied in fear as he began to transform once again.
As Mumm-Ra was in position, the statues of the Ancient Spirits of Evil started to walk over to him once again to bathe him in their energy. As the waves of energy started to pour down, Mumm-Ra spoke his incantation.
"ANCIENT SPIRITS OF EVIL…. TRANSFORM THIS DECAYED FORM….. TO MUMM-RA…. THE EVER LIVING!" He shouted as he started to transform into his altered form once again.
Once he had finished his transformation, Mumm-Ra started to grab the Planeteer ring with his right hand and then place it inside his cauldron. After a moment, he started to chant an ancient spell to corrupt the ring. As he continued to chant, the ring started to change. As he continued, the silver ring started to change into a purplish color and the emblem of fire started to change into a darker version. After he was finished, Mumm-Ra picked up the newly transformed ring and placed it back onto the small table. A moment later he started to speak.
"Now to make sure that the stupid fool doesn't suspect a thing," Mumm-Ra stated as he started to bombard the ring with red energy beams from his hands.
As the beams started to hit the ring, it started to disguise itself back into it's original form.
"Now all we have to do is wait till our victim wakes up." Mumm-Ra added as he started to revert back to his mummy form.
"How long will it take to erase that fool's memory." Zarm asked with some wonder.
"It will only take a short time to take effect, but once it does, there is no going back. He will be mine forever."
"Don't you mean ours Mumm-Ra."
"Of course, as long as you can keep your end of the bargain."
"Don't worry about me, I already have a plan to get back the item. Now let's be silent for a moment, the fool is waking up."
After Zarm's statement, The Fire Planeteer as started to awaken.
"What…What's going on here?" Wheeler stated while starting to remember what happened before. "Mumm-Ra… You are gonna pay for this." He added while looking down at his shredded Thundercat symbol.
"Then come at me and show me what you've got." Mumm-Ra stated with an evil tone in his voice.
"Once I can get my hands free, you're done for." Wheeler stated as he started to try and shake the chains loose from the wall.
"You'll never break those chains." Mumm-Ra stated while looking at Zarm and Pollution. "You two come with me to my treasure room," He added as all three of them started to make there way into Mumm-Ra's secret room.
After Mumm-Ra's statement, both himself, Pollution and Zarm started to enter into another room which was barren and empty as well as sound proof.
"What's going on here?" Pollution stated. "I thought that we were going to get some treasure."
"Silence you fool. I had to say that in order to let the Planet pest think that we left him." Mumm-Ra stated as he started to raise his arms and fire an energy bolts from his hands into the wall.
"What is this?" Zarm asked with wonder as the wall started to transform into a see through glass.
"I have enchanted this side so that we can see what is going on, but it will only last for a short while." The mummy stated as Wheeler continued to try and get free. "Did you do what I asked before we left the room?" He asked to Pollution,
"Of course dude." Pollution started to say. "I've made sure that the Eco-Brat would be able to break free after a few good shoves on the chains."
"Excellent. Now let us watch the fun begin to unfold."
"And also to watch the beginning of the end of our enemies forever." Zarm added as they all started to laugh in their most evilest tones.
Unaware that his actions were being watched by his enemies, Wheeler continued to try and break free the chains that were holding him on the wall.
"I have to get out of here and get back to the others." He stated as he continued to try and shake his hands free. "There must be someway to get out." He continued until he started to see something on the wall where one of the chains was being hung from. "That chain seems to be loose." He started to think. "If I can just get up enough strength to yank on the chain hard, then maybe I can free myself." He continued to think as he started to pull much harder on the chains.
After a few more times of pulling, the chains started to break free from the wall freeing the Planeteer.
"That's better." Wheeler stated as he started to shake off the metal shackles from both of his wrists. "Now to get my ring back and get out of this place." He added as he started to head towards the small table which his ring was located.
As Wheeler approached the small rocky table, he started to look around for any traps that could be set off when he starts to retrieve his ring. After a moment of looking and examining the table he grabbed the ring from the table.
"That's better." He started to say as he started to place the ring back onto his right ring finger. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" He started to yell as the ring started to show it's true form. "WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!" He started to shout as the darkness started to emerge from the ring and affect his mind.
As Wheeler continued to be affected by the darkness released from his ring, Mumm-Ra and his two partners continued to watch with glee at the Planeteer's pain.
"He's ours now." Mumm-Ra stated with glee as the darkness continued to affect the Plateneer's mind.
"So when can we turn him against his former allies?" Pollution asked with concern.
"Quiet you fool." Zarm started to say. "Mumm-Ra, how long until we can have him strike?"
"First we must mold him into the perfect weapon, then we release him on his former friends." Mumm-Ra stated as the darkness finally started to disappear from Wheeler's body. "Now is the time."
After the statement made by Mumm-Ra, himself and his two partners in evil started to leave the secret chamber and enter back into the main room of the Pyramid. As they all entered the room Wheeler was starting to come around after his ordeal.
"Wh…..What is going on here?….. Where…Where am I?" Wheeler stated in his most confused tone.
"Are you alright my young friend.?" Mumm-Ra started to say as he and his two minions started to approach the Fire Planeteer.
"Who.. Who are you?" Wheeler started to reply "And more importantly, where am I?"
"My young friend, don't you remember?"
"Remember? I can't even remember my own name?"
"I am Mumm-Ra and you are Wheeler. A warrior for the forces of evil and darkness. I chose you to defend all that is evil from those who would fight for justice and goodness. I also gave you that ring which contains your most evilest power." The red- shrouded mummy stated as Wheeler started to look at his ring.
"Evil and darkness?" Wheeler started to say with a confused tone in his voice. "I don't understand."
"My friend, let me show you something." Mumm-Ra stated as he helped Wheeler off the ground.
"Um, before you tell me about my life, who are those two people behind you?" Wheeler asked after seeing Zarm and Pollution standing right behind Mumm-Ra.
"These two are my associates and your friends in our battle for evil." Mumm-Ra started to say as he started to gustier to Pollution and Zarm. "This is Pollution and this is Zarm."
"Pleased to meet you again dude." Pollution stated with an evil grin on his face.
"Yes it is good that you are alright my young friend." Zarm started to say. "The loss of your wife and children also the battle we went through must have really done a number on you."
"My wife? My children? What battle?" Wheeler replied more confused than before.
"Calm yourself down my friend. I will explain everything to you but first you should sit down. This will take a while." Mumm-Ra stated as he waved his hands to mold some rocks into a makeshift chair for Wheeler to sit down in. "Now look into the cauldron, and I will explain who you are and your purpose for the forces of evil and darkness."
After Mumm-Ra's statement, Wheeler started to sit down onto the rocky chair while at the same time looking into the murky waters of the Mummy's cauldron.
As Mumm-Ra was about to speak, images of Wheeler's fake life started to appear inside the cauldron's murky waters.
"You are Wheeler, a nobleman living with your wife Trish and two daughters in a secluded part of a meadow. At the time you were both happily married and were planning on having another child. Then one day the Thundercats and their allies the Planeteers showed up and started to destroy your home. You tried to ask them to leave you and your wife in peace but they didn't listen." As Mumm-Ra continued to tell his tale of evil, the images from inside the cauldron continued to change to help the story take shape. "When you told them that there was no reason to fight and that this was your home, the blonde Planeteer started to approach your wife and used her power on her." As Wheeler watched, the images started to show Linka using her Planeteer ring to envelope his wife in a vortex of wind while at the same time draining the life out of her. "You begged her to stop, be she just continued to torture your wife until she was dead. Afterwards she started to attack your children and killed them as well. Then the Thundercats used their tank to destroy your home. Feeling angered and saddened by your loss you started to pray for a way to make them pay, that is when I approached you and made you this offer. Join my evil ranks and I will give you the power to get your revenge. You accepted but started to run off after your prey. Afterwards you met your enemies but they struck you down first and left you for dead. That is when my minions found you and brought you back to me for help and healing." Mumm-Ra stated as the images started to disappear from the water. "Do you remember everything?" Mumm-Ra asked while hoping that his little fictional show would give him the results that he wanted.
"Yes. I remember now." Wheeler started to say as he started to pick himself up from the stone chair. "THOSE THUNDERCATS AND PLANETEERS WILL PAY FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO ME!" Wheeler yelled in anger.
"Excellent, but before we can start on a plan, I have a gift for you." The Mummy stated as he started to head back towards his sarcophagus. After a moment he returned with a small object in his hands. "This is the Sword of Plunn-Darr. It is a very powerful weapon and the equal to that of the Thundercats own Sword Of Omens. I was planning on giving it to you before you left. Here take it." Mumm-Ra added as he started to give the small object to Wheeler.
As Wheeler started to grab the object, the two sets of snakes at both ends started to turn and two powerful, sharpened blades started to appear at both ends.
"Ah, the sword has chosen you to wield it's power. This is a great honor my friend." Mumm-Ra stated as the blades started to retract back into it's hilt. "How do you feel?"
"Like the Thundercats and the Planeteers, must be destroyed." Wheeler stated as he started to place the hilt into his jacket pocket.
"Excellent, but before we can get started on getting your revenge, we need to get you some appropriate clothing and devise a plan of attack."
"Then let's get started." Wheeler stated as both Pollution and Zarm looked on.
"I hate to admit this Zarm, but this Mumm-Ra dude is good." Pollution stated with a grin on his face.
"Yes, he is very talented, but how long can he keep up the ruse." Zarm stated as he and Pollution were being gestured to join Mumm-Ra and Wheeler.
As soon as Pollution and Zarm approached the duo, all four of them started to over a plan to finally finish their enemies once and for all.
Unaware of what was happening to their friend, Willa, Quick-Pick, Hachiman and Mandora have almost finished following Char's instructions for re-forging the Thundercat's Sword Of Omens.
"This had better work Char." Mandora started to say as she was wearing a metal apron while holding a metal grabber in her hands.
"Don't worry, I'm almost done." Char replied as he started to pound a metal object caught in Mandora's metal grabber. "Are you ready over there with the special solution for the sword?" He added as he continued to pound a molten metal wad.
"We're ready over here." Willa started to say. "Quick-Pick, give me the current temperature." Willa asked while looking at the green mechanical alien.
"What do you think I am, a temperature gauge?" Quick-Pick stated while using a device to measure the heat coming off from the boiler. "It says about 850 degrees."
"That's perfect. Hold it right there." Char replied as he an Mandora started to join the others. "Alright Mandora, carefully place the metal inside the flames." Char stated as Mandora started to follow Char's lead.
"Char, are you sure that this solution will work on Lion-O-san's sword?" Hachiman asked while holding a small vile of molten metal.
"To be honest, I don't know. The tests did show a 40% success but I'm just hoping that once we are done everything will be fine." Hachiman replied as Mandora finished placing the wad of metal into the fire.
"Are you sure that we have to heat up the sword in this way?" Willa asked with some concern. "What if it doesn't work?"
"Calm down my friends, it will work." Char stated while lowering the metal face plate on his head." Once the metal is hot enough, we'll add the solution then heat it up again to weld them both together. This isn't the first time that I repaired their sword, but I will do whatever I can to help them."
"I just hope that this works." Quick-Pick started to say with a worried tone. "I don't want to end up being a melted form of myself. Then people won't hire me for jobs."
"You should be more worried about helping your friends than yourself Quick-Pick." Maandora stated as she started to see the metal blob start to change color from the heat of the flames.
"Alright Mandora, now remove it from the flames and Hachiman, get ready to pour the solution right away." Char stated as both Mandora and Hachiman started to do what they were told.
As the group started to work together, the red hot metal blob was then removed from the hot flames of Char's boiler and then coated with the vile that the samurai had ready in hand. As they all looked on, the solution started to react from the intense heat and began to bond into the metal blob.
"That's it." Char stated in his most excited tone." Now quickly place it back into the flames for a few minutes, while I get my special tools together. "Char stated as Mandora started to place the blob back into the flames.
"This has got to work. I can't help but worry for the Thundercats back at my home and Wheeler's capture. We have to save him." Willa stated in her most determined tone.
"We will Willa, but first we must finish restoring the Thundercats sword." Mandora replied as the metal blob started to turn red again.
"Let's just hope that the sword's powers will be restored as well." Hachiman stated as he started to remember the way the sword was from before. "If the jewel is fixed then maybe the sword's powers will be as well.."
"Here comes Char, and it looks like he is ready to begin." Quick-Pick stated as the four-armed alien returned with special hammers and pincers in all of his hands.
"Alright, that should be enough time in the fire." Char stated as he started to release one of his tools with his lower right hand and grabbed the metal pincers from Mandora. "Now this is the tricky part." Char stated as he started to take blob out of the flames and into a special vat to cool off the hot metal. Then he placed the cooled wad onto a special metal table to begin his work. "Everyone better stand back." Char added as he started to lower his metal visor over his face.
After the statement made by Char, the group of allies started to move back a little as red and white sparks started to appear from the table. As the group continued to watch, they saw Char's massive upper left and upper right arms start to swing both metal hammers into the metal blob at an incredible rate. As they continued to watch, Char would place the metal blob back into the fire for a few moments to heat it up again before striking it down once again. As he continued to strike, the blob started to change it's shape. Within what would seem like hours, the metal blob was gone and in the metal pincers was the newly re-forged Sword Of Omens. After Char was finished hammering it down into shape, he then placed the sword into a vat of cold water to remove any heat from the metal. As soon as he place the sword into the vat, massive smoke started to emerge letting everyone know that the job was completed. After a moment more, Char raised the sword while still in the pincers from the water vat to oversee his work.
"Now this is a thing of beauty." Char stated as he started to place down all of his tools and examined the sword very carefully. "That should do it, but weather the Sword's powers will be restored that Is another q-"
Before Char could complete his statement, a bolt of white lighting started to strike the sword forcing it to be released from Char's hands. After a moment Char started to remember something similar that happen when he first fixed the sword.
"Is it supposed to do that?" Quick-Pick asked as the sword's brownish Cat's eye started to glow.
"It is. That means that the sword's powers are back as well." Char replied as Willa started to approach the sword.
"That is great news, now we can help the Thundercats get-" Willa started to say until she tried to grab the Sword's hilt.
As soon as Willa started to try and grab the hilt of the sword, the Cat's Eye inside the sword started to turn from a brownish color to a bright red. While at the same time the inner part of the eye started to glow a brightest white.
"WILLA, GET BACK!" Hachiman yelled while he saw the colors change from the sword.
"No Hachiman. The sword is just a little confused. It knows that no one with a touch of evil can use it." Willa replied as she started to speak again. "Sword Of Omens." Willa started to say as she went down to one knee in front of the floating sword. "The Thundercats are very ill and we need your help to save them. You know I have no evil in my heart and my friends and I have worked very hard to restore you." The Maiden leader continued to say as she started to get back to her feet. "May I please hold you so that I may bring you back to your owner?"
After Willa's heartfelt plea, the Sword's bright red and white Cat's Eye started to dim back into it's brownish color. As the sword started to change back, Willa then realized that the sword does have a mind of it's own and that it can sense when someone is speaking the truth. After a moment more, Willa grabbed the sword from it's hilt and started to place it under her rope belt from her clothing.
"Thank you Char." Willa stated while turning her attention to the four-armed alien. "You may have just saved the Thundercats again."
"It is my honor to help them, but I would like to ask you a favor." Char replied while wondering what Willa's next answer would be.
"A favor? What is it?" Willa replied with wonder.
"I would like to go with you to check in on the Thundercats."
"I think that the Thundercats would like that, but we have no room for anyone given our current condition." Mandora stated while trying to be honest with Char.
"Don't worry about that Mandora, just move all of your vehicles inside my ship and I will fly us all back to the Tree Top Kingdom." Char stated in his most honest and prideful tone.
"Are you sure about that?" Quick-Pick started to say. "I'm sure that you have other customers out there besides us."
"My mechanical friend, it would be my honor to help you as much as I can. Now please, get your vehicles into my ship." Char replied as he started to push a few buttons on one side of the ship.
As they all watched, a small hatch started to open inside the massive ship showing the outside and a metal platform started to emerge moving down towards the ground.
"I'll get my Electro-Cycle, Hachiman, can you secure your horse?" Mandora stated as she started to head towards her machine.
"Right behind you Mandora." The Samurai replied as Willa was about to say something.
"I'll go with you, there is someone that we should tend to as well. "Willa replied knowing full well who she was talking about.
As the trio started to emerge from the giant spaceship, Hachiman started to coarse his mechanical horse into the ship while Mandora started to do the same with her vehicle. As they both started to re-enter the ship. Willa was having a little trouble trying to help a special friend move inside.
"I know you are afraid of this ship my friend." Willa started to say as she started to move her right hand through the Unicorn's white mane. "Char is giving us a lift back to my home, and I know you are afraid." She added as the Unicorn started to back off a little. "I know you sense that something is off right now and I won't argue with you. Wheeler has been captured and we will get him back once the Thundercats are better. But in order to help them we must get their sword back to them." Willa added as the Unicorn started to kneel his head and upper body down. "Are you saying that you want to take me back to my home?" Willa asked as the Unicorn started to make a small noise.
As Willa was continuing her discussion with the animal, she didn't notice that someone from the ship was approaching the pair.
"Is everything alright Willa?" A voice asked as Willa started to turn around.
"Hachiman. How long have you been there.?" Willa asked with some concern.
"Only a little while. Is everything alright?"
"Our friend here is scared of going inside Char's ship but she is offering me a lift back home." Willa replied as the Unicorn's head was still lowered.
"If she is offering you a lift home then you should accept it." The Samurai stated while moving his left hand across the animal's white mane.
"Are you sure?" Willa asked with some concern.
"I'm sure, it will probability take some time for us to get everything secured before we take off and besides, the Thundercat's condition is still critical."
"I'm worried about the Thundercats as well but I can't help but worry about what Mumm-Ra is doing to Wheeler."
"I understand, but there is nothing that we can do for him now. We must get the Thundercats and his friends back so that they can help us save him." Hachiman stated while placing his right hand on Willa's left shoulder.
"You're right Hachiman." Willa started to say in her most calm tone. "We have to get the Thundercats better so that they can help the others. I was so worried about our new friend that I almost forgotten who I am."
"And who are you Willa?" Hachiman asked with some wonder.
"I am the leader of the Warrior Maidens and a true friend to both the Thundercats and the Planeteers. And they would want me to help them get better." Willa stated as she started to climb on the Unicorn's back. "Please tell the others that I will meet them back home." She added as the Unicorn's head started to rise back up.
"I will Willa." Hachiman stated as he started to look at Willa and the Unicorn with respect. "Willa, I would like to congratulate you for your decision."
"My decision?"
"Yes. At this moment you have proven to me that you are a true Samurai and a loyal friend to everyone. Only a Samurai would do what is right, despite the urge to help their friends. Your decision to help the Thundercats rather than going after Wheeler half-cocked proves that you have earned your position as leader of your people." The Samurai stated as he started to bow his head towards Willa and the Unicorn.
"Thank you Hachiman." Willa stated as she urged to Unicorn to turn around. "I'LL SEE YOU AND THE OTHERS BACK HOME!" Willa yelled as she and the Unicorn started to race back towards the forest.
"Safe journey my friend." The samurai responded with pride.
After seeing Willa and the animal disappear back into the forest, the Samurai warrior started to re-enter Char's massive ship to tell the others. As he started to emerge inside the ship, Hachiman started to see Mandora and Quick-Pick finishing securing the Electro-Charger as well as Hachiman's mechanical steed. As he approached the group, Mandora noticed that someone was missing from their group.
"Hachiman, where is Willa?" Mandora asked with some wonder.
"Willa went back to the Tree Top Kingdom on the Unicorn's back." Hachiman replied with an honest tone.
"Did she give any reason why?" Quick-Pick asked in his most annoying tone.
"The Unicorn was scared of Char's ship and offered Willa a ride."
"That is understandable." Char started to say. "I've never had any wildlife inside my ship for reason that they might die from the intense heat. Your friend did the right thing."
"So how long before we can join her." Mandora asked.
"If you help me secure everything here, we should be ready to leave in about an hour at the most." Char replied.
"Then we'd have better get started." Hachiman stated as everyone started to pitch in securing Char's equipment before lifting off.
As the group started to finish securing all of Char's equipment, Quick-Pick started to walk over to Char to ask him a personal question.
"Char, may I speak with you a moment?" Quick-Pick asked with wonder in his tone.
"Of course my friend." Char replied as he took his lower left arm and placed it on the green robotic alien's back. "Now what is it you want to ask me about?'
"I was wondering if you might be interested in having a security system installed."
"Security system? Why would I need a security system?" Char replied with some wonder.
"Well after what happened to you and your ship, I just figured that you might consider one. Just to make sure that this doesn't happen again."
"I appreciate your concern and sales pitch, but I can get along fine without one."
"I understand." Quick-Pick replied in his most depressed tone. "But just in case you change your mind, here is my business card." He added as he started to take out a business card from his red vest pocket.
"Thanks." Char replied as he used his lower right arm and hand to take the business card." I'll hold onto this and let you know." He added as he took the card with his right hand and placed it inside a pocked on his shirt." Now let's hurry up and meet up with Willa."
"Oh joy. More work." Quick-Pick replied as Char started to chuckle.
After their conversation, the duo started to re-join the others in securing everything before they all headed towards the bridge of Char's ship. As the main doors to the bridge opened up to everyone, Char started to head towards the main console to input the coordinates for the Warrior Maiden's home in the trees.
"Everyone ready to go?" Char asked as the computer gave the OK signal to begin takeoff procedures.
"We're ready Char." Mandora started to say in her most determined tone. "Take us up."
"You got it ma'am." Char replied as he started to initiate the takeoff procedure.
A few moments after Char had started to sequence, the massive rockets started to ignite, causing massive flames to be emitted from the bottom of the ship. As the ship started to rise up from the ground, the amount of sand and rocks started to get blasted everywhere from the launch position. Once the ship has reached optimal range from the ground, the rear rockets started to ignite as the lower rockets finally shut off. After a moment more the ship was on it's way back to the Warrior Maiden's home.
As Char and the others worked on getting the ship ready for it's voyage back to her home, Willa and her Unicorn friend were making good time. The speed of the Unicorn had Willa racing through the forest faster then she could have ever went on her own. As they both continued to move, the beast started to stop in a clearing for a few minutes rest.
"I'm sorry." Willa started to say as she saw how exhausted the animal was." I didn't notice that carrying me got you so exhausted." She added as she started to remove herself from the Unicorn's back. "We'll rest here for a while until you are ready to move out again."
As the Unicorn started to go down to it's four legs on the nice soft grass, Willa decided to also relax on a tall tree while waiting herself. As she started to relax for the first time in a long time, she started to take the Thunder Cat's sword off from her rope belt with her right hand and started to look deep into the Cat's eye.
"I don't know if you can understand me, but I am worried about my friends back at my home. Can you please show me how they are doing? Willa asked the sword in her most honest and caring tone.
As the sword continued to listen to Willa's plea, a soft cat like roar started to emerge from the sword.
"What was that saying that I heard Lion-O used once before." She started to say. "Now I remember. Sword Of Omens, give me sight beyond sight." Willa stated as the sword started to react.
As Willa watched with amazement, the Thundercat's Sword started to respond to her command as it would do to Lion-O's. The sword's crossbars started to curl into two eye ports while the Eye Of Thundera started to brighten. As Willa started to look into the curled crossbars, her eyes started to turn bright orange as the sword started to show her something. As she looked into the sword, she started to see her fallen Thundercat friends still unable to move and starting to get worse. The medicine that Hachiman brought with him was able to slow down what was causing them to get weaker, but now the medicine is gone and they are getting worse.
After seeing those images, Willa started to get back to her feet and headed towards the Unicorn who was now grazing in the open meadow.
"My friend." Willa started to say as the Unicorn started to feel her presence. "I must get back to my people. The Thundercats are getting worse." She added in her most determined tone.
After hearing how determined Willa is in getting back to her friends, the Unicorn stopped grazing and allowed Willa to climb back onto the animal's whit back.
"Thank you my friend." Willa stated as she started to secure herself by holding a little of the Unicorn's white hair. "Now please my friend, let's hurry." Willa added as the Unicorn started to run faster than before.
As Willa was racing back to her people, and Char's spaceship was getting ready to liftoff, back at the Warrior Maiden's home, the nurses inside the medical hut were continuing to try and treat the fallen Thundercats.
"Do we have any more of the medicine that the Samurai brought back with him?" One of the maiden's stated with much concern in her tone.
"Give me a sec and I will check." Another maiden stated while looking at their make-shift medicine rack. "No, we used it all up a while ago."
"We have to try something, the Thundercats are starting to get worse again." The first maiden spoke.
"Maybe one of our remedies might work for a while." The second Maiden stated.
"Those remedies were made only for us, we don't know how they will work for the Thundercats." The first maiden stated with much concern in her tone.
"We have to try. They are starting to burn up." The second maiden started to say. "We need to make a poultice in order to try and lower their fever."
"I have all of the ingredients right here, but it will take some time." The first maiden stated while gathering up everything they would need to get started.
"If we work together and each take half of the ingredients, then we should get done in half the time." The second maiden stated as she approached the first maiden at the make-shift medical table.
"Here you go, now we have to hurry." The first maiden stated with much worry in her tone of voice.
"We will but we must do everything by the book if we are to get it right for everyone. One mistake and it could make our friends worse." The first maiden stated with determination and honesty in her tone.
"Then we had better get started." The second maiden replied as they both started to get to work.
As both maidens started to mix their parts of the poultice, the fever infecting the Thundercats started to get worse. As the two finished their parts, they started to mix both halves together until it started to show a dark greenish color. Once they got this color they both knew it was ready to be administered to the Thundercats.
"Are you sure this will work?" The first maiden stated as they started to administer the poultice.
"It has to work." The second maiden started to say. The Thundercats have always helped us when we needed it, now it is our turn to help them." She added as they all finished placing the medication on top of each of the Thundercat's foreheads.
"Please let this work." The first maiden stated as they started to see something happen almost immediately.
As the medication started to take effect, something inside the Thundercats started to fight back. Within moments of administering their medication, light steam started to appear from each of the fallen Thundercats completely destroying the medicine.
"What happened?" The first maiden started to say in shock. "The medicine it's been evaporated."
"And we don't have enough to make more." The second maiden stated with much fear in her tone. "What are we gonna do now?
As the two maidens were wondering what to do next, both of them failed to realize that someone was approaching them from behind.
"I sure wish that Willa was back. She would know what to do." The first maiden started to say until both maidens heard a familiar voice from behind them.
"Is everything alright here?" The voice said as both maidens turned around to see who it was.
"WILLA!" Both maiden yelled with excitement.
"Quickly, tell me what has happened so far." Willa asked in her most concerned tone.
After Willa's statement, both the maidens started to tell her what has happened to the medicine that Hachiman brought back and what they tried to do.
"You both did the right thing in trying to help them." Willa stated as she started to remove the Thundercat's sword from her rope belt.
"Their sword." The first maiden spoke with surprise.
"Char fixed it." The second maiden added.
"Yes he did but it is a long story that I will tell the two of you later." Willa stated as she started to head over to Lion-O's bed to hand him the sword.
"WILLA STOP!" The first maiden yelled with much intensity.
"What's wrong?" Willa replied as she stopped dead in her tracks only a foot away from the Lord of the Thundercats.
"The Thundercats are burning up with some kind of fever. We are already starting to feel the heat from here." The second maiden stated as they were all starting to feel the heat coming out from the Thundercats.
"We have to do something." Willa stated as the sword started to make a loud roar like sound.
As Willa heard the sound coming from the sword, she started to see the Eye of Thundera glow intensely red and white. It was if the sword was asking her to do something that only the Lord of the Thundercats could do.
"Willa what is happening to the sword." The first maiden asked with confusion and wonder in her tone.
"Everyone stand back." Willa stated as she started to gestured both maidens to get behind her. "I think I know what the sword wants me to do." Willa stated as she started to hold the sword close to her face. "Please let this work and please allow me to call upon your power Eye of Thundera." Willa thought as she was about to do something that she was never able to do.
As she started to raise the sword above her head she started to shout at the top of her lungs. "THUNDER…..THUNDER…..THUNDER…..THUNDERCATS…..HOOOOOOOOO!" Willa shouted as the sword started to respond in kind.
As Willa continued herself and her fellow maidens were almost in a state of shock as the Thundercat's sword started to change from a short dagger form to the long sword form. A moment later, the Cat's Eye inside the sword started to change as well as it also changed into the symbol of the Thundercats. Then a moment after the Cat's Eye started to change, a red beam started to emerge from the sword and the Thundercat symbol started to appear high near the roof of the medical hut.
As they all watched, the Thundercats symbol started to growl as all of the Thundercat insignias started glowing for each fallen warrior. A moment later, the symbol in the beam disappeared and then the red beam started to envelop the entire room, completely covering the Thundercats and Willa and her maidens.
As the red beam completely enveloped the room, the Thundercat's sword started to lift away from Willa's hands and then started to hover in the center of the room. A moment later that sword itself started to spin itself faster and faster, as it it was creating some kind of tornado inside the room. After a moment more a bright white light started to emerge from the spinning sword and impacted each Thundercat lying down on their beds.
As the white light started to impact each Thundercat, an orange color started to emerge from inside the Thundercat's own bodies. As the white light kept getting the orange glow to emerge, the sword then started to absorb the energy being released from the fallen warriors. As the sword continued to absorb the orange energy, it started to change the energy's color from orange to a yellowish tone and then re-directed it back towards the fallen warriors.
As Willa and the others continued to watch in amazement, the sword started to slowdown it's spinning as it finally came to a complete stop before falling down to the ground. As the sword fell to the flat surface, Willa ran over to the Lord of the Thundercats as the others checked on the other Thundercats.
"Are they alright?" The first maiden stated as Willa started to examine Lion-O.
"I think they are getting better. I am starting to feel their pulse getting stronger." Willa stated as she started to turn to her two friends. "How about the others?"
"Panthro seems to be getting better." The first maiden stated as she started to head over to the other fallen warrior.
"Tygra seems to be getting stronger." The second maiden spoke.
"Lynx-O is starting to get stronger as well. I can feel his heart rate getting stronger as well." The first maiden stated.
"That's good to hear." Willa stated as she started to move a wooden chair from the far wall and placed it next to Lion-O's bedside. "Both of you start getting something for the Thundecats to eat. I'll stay here and wait for them to wake up. I have a lot to tell them about."
"Yes mam." Both maidens stated as the first maiden started to leave the room.
"Willa." The second maiden stated as she started to grab the sword from the center of the room. "I think you should give this back to Lion-O when he wakes up," She added as she started to hand off the Thundercat sword before she left the room.
As Willa started to reach to reclaim the sword it started to change back into it's dagger form. "Thank you my friend for helping us save your people." Willa stated as the sword started to let out a small growl before the light started inside the eye started to go out. "You deserve a break, thank you again."
As the Sword of Omens continued to rest in the right hand of Willa, the maiden leader started to think of everything that has happened between herself and the sword.
"Sword of Omens." She started to think. "I am glad that you were able to help your fellow Thundercats get better, but something is still bugging me. Lion-O always says that the sword would not respond to anyone with an evil heart, and I know that sometimes my heart is evil when it comes to protecting my people. But then you allowed me to evoke your powers to save everyone here, so I want to say thank you and I would be honored to help you out again." She continued to think until she started to become distracted by some kind of noise coming from Lion-O's bed.
As the Lord of the Thundercats continued to lay down on his bed, his eyelids started to open wide to indicate that he was finally awake and conscience. After a moment of getting his bearings, the Lord started to speak.
"Wha…What happened to us?" Lion-O asked with much concern in his tone.
"Take it easy Lion-O." Willa started to say in her most caring tone. "You and your fellow Thundercats are here in the Tree Top Kingdom. But you and the others should rest, you've all been through a lot."
"I appreciate your concern but I am more worried about the rest of our friends back at the Lair." Lion-O stated as he started to see the sword in Willa's right hand. "How did you, when did you get the sword?"
"It is a long story Lion-O." Willa started to say. "And I will explain everything to you and the others once you've all rested. All of you were in really bad shape when Mandora, Hachiman, Quick-Pick and Wheeler helped me bring you all here."
"Wheeler? He was there?"
"Not really. He showed up after the battle was over and was completely saddened by what happened."
"It wasn't his fault, but I'm glad that he is safe. Where is he anyway?"
"I'm afraid he was captured by Mumm-Ra and two of his newest allies."
"Captured? By who?"
"Please Lion-O, you need to rest and regain your strength." Willa started to say trying to calm down the weakened Thundercat. "I will explain everything once the others get back."
"No. I must go and help everyone back at the Lair." Lion-O started to say until he started to hear a voice from across the room.
"Lion-O, you should listen to Willa, We've all been through a lot." The voice stated as Lion-O started to shift his gaze to the person speaking.
"Lynx-O, I understand what you are saying but I have to get back to the others at the Lair."
"Lion-O, I know you are worried about Wheeler but I also know that you are more worried about Cheetara."
"You know?"
"My friend, I have had a feeling for a while now and I am so happy for you. But that can wait until we get better. I am also feeling very weak from what happened to us, so we must take Willa's advice and get better."
"Of course, you're right Lynx-O." Lion-O started to state as he turned his gaze back to Willa. "Willa, I'm sorry for how I just acted."
"It is OK Lion-O. Don't worry about it, besides I've send my aids to get some food for you and the others. They should be back soon."
"Glad to hear that, I don't like being on bed-rest for any time period." A voice stated from across the room.
"Panthro, glad to see your up and around." Lion-O stated as Tygra also started to stir.
"When I find out what was in that beam I going to make those new allies of Mumm-Ra pay for this."
"Just be glad that you are alive for now." Tygra stated. "It could have been a lot worse."
"It almost was my friends." Willa started to say in her most saddened tone. "You were all seriously injured and burning up with fever. We had some medicine from Hachiman but we used it all up trying to help you."
"How were you able to cure us Willa?" Tygra asked while starting to see the Sword of Omens in her hands.
"After Char repaired Lion-O's sword, I got back here as fast as our Unicorn friend would allow it. Then the sword allowed me to use it's powers to save your lives. I couldn't understand why."
"I think I know Willa." Lion-O started to say in his most honest tone. "The sword knows that you have a good heart and you also used it once before years ago."
"But that was when Mumm-Ra tricked me into using it."
"Maybe, but the sword then knew that your heart was pure and when the time was right, it would allow you to help us. Just like you did for us right now. So thank you for saving our lives."
"Yes Willa, thank you from all of us." Lynx-O added with a smile on his face.
"You Thundercats have always saved us from trouble almost on a daily basis, so it was time for us to help you." Willa stated while trying not to blush.
"Well we are all glad that you did." Tygra stated in his most honest tone." Now please tell us what has happened after the battle."
"One moment my friend." Lynx-O started to say as his ears started to glow red for a moment. "I think that we are about to have some company." He added as the sun started to become eclipsed by a massive shadow.
"Willa, don't tell me you forgot to pay your light bill." Panthro stated in a joking mood.
"It must be Char and the others." Willa stated as she placed the sword at Lion-O's bedside and got up to her feet. "I'll let the others know that you are all recovering and then we will fill you in on what has happened." She added as she started to approach the entrance. "But for now, all of you stay put and rest, that is an order." Willa added as she gave the Thundercats a wink and then exited the building.
"Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I am going to listen to her and stay put." Tygra stated in his most joking mode.
"You're right Tygra, I don't want to get Willa mad at us or at me again." Lion-O added as all of the Thundercats started to laugh a little.
As Willa went to get the rest of her friends from Char's spaceship, back at his Dark Pyramid Mumm-Ra was seething with anger after witnessing what has happened to the fallen Thundercats. As he continued to watch, his anger continued to boil over while his allies were almost frozen in fear.
"Now what dude?" Pollution asked with concern for his own safety.
"Not now you fool. I want to continue watching and see what happens next." Zarm replied as Mumm-Ra stated to speak.
"Curse those Warrior Maidens and that meddling Char. I will make them pay for healing those Thundercats." Mumm-Ra stated as he started to shift his gaze towards a darkened section of his Pyramid. "Now my newest ally in evil, come forth." Mumm-Ra stated as a dark shadow with red eyes started to walk towards the mummy.
As the shadow started to move closer into the light, it started to take shape to be a human person wearing a Thundercat garment while wearing some golden armor shoulder pads as well as some kind of chest armor. Also the symbol on the chest was that of Mumm-Ra's double serpent logo which is burned into his own chest.
"Now my warrior, are you ready to begin?" Mumm-Ra asked with some wonder in his tone.
"Yes my master." Wheeler started to say as he went down to one knee. "The Thundercats and the Planeteers will pay for what they have done." Wheeler added as he started to take out the hilt of the Sword of Plunn-Darr from the belt below his golden armor. "With this sword and my ring at your command, our enemies will be vanquished forever." He added as the gigantic blades of the sword started to emerge and then disappear.
"I'm glad the armor fits you my young friend."
"Thank you my master." Wheeler added as he started to place the helmet that he was carrying on top of his head. "Now I am ready to begin." He added as he started to rise back to his feet.
"Excellent. Your first target is the Thundercats at those annoying Warrior Maiden's home. Destroy everything and burn their homes to the ground."
"As you command my lord." Wheeler replied as Mumm-Ra started to blast him with his energy beams and then made him disappear.
After the Planeteer now turned enemy left the Pyramid, Pollution and Zarm started to walk towards Mumm-Ra with some looks of confusion on their faces.
"Are you surer about this?" Zarm asked with some concern. "What if the Thundercats are able to save him from whatever you have done to his mind."
"Calm down." Mumm-Ra stated in his most evilest tone. "The spell that I have placed on his ring is too powerful to be destroyed by the Thundercats's own power. It would require an enormous about of energy and I doubt that after Wheeler is done that there will be anything left."
"Are you sure dude?" Pollution started to say. "I mean those Thundercats and the Global geeks have a habit of always finding a way to save their friends."
"This time they will fail." Mumm-Ra replied as he started to move towards his cauldron. "Now let us watch our newest ally of evil destroy his former friends. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA."
Unaware of what Mumm-Ra was launching into effect, Willa has just reached the top of her home as Char, Quick-Pick, Hachiman and Mandora were exiting the massive spaceship. As they all left the ship, the computer inside the spacecraft started to move the massive vehicle away from the Warrior Maiden's home.
"Char, where is your ship going?" Willa asked with some concern.
"Don't worry about a thing Willa." Char started to say while starting to get his bearings. "I simply programmed the autopilot to take the ship back to the Thundercat's home and land in an area which is completely baron."
"I hope that you also factored in that there are statues outside the lair." Quick-Pick replied.
"Not to worry, I've made sure that the computer knows where to land. Now what about the Thundercats, are they alright?"
"They are just fine." Willa started to say. "You did a wonderful job repairing their sword. It was able to heal them and now they are recovering down in the medical hut."
"Did you tell them what happened to Wheeler?" Mandora asked with some concern.
"Only a little, I wanted all of us here to fill everyone in on the details."
"Then we'd better get started." Mandora stated as she started to gesture to the others. "The sooner we fill them in on what happened, the sooner we can save the others and launch a plan to rescue Wheeler."
After Mandora's statement, the group started to head from the main hut down to the medical hut. Once inside they all see the Thundercats all sitting up on their beds as Willa's two aids started to bring in some food to help them all recover.
"Feeling better I hope." Mandora stated while the entire group entered.
"Yes Mandora. We are." Tygra replied as they all stopped for a moment.
"Willa, Mandora, Hachiman. Quick-Pick, Char, thanks for everything that you have done for us." Lion-O stated with much pride in his tone. "You all worked together to save our lives."
"Lion-O it is the least we can do for all of the help you have given us over the years." Hachiman stated as he gave the recovering warriors an honorable bow of respect.
"Now that we are starting to feel better, care to fill us in on what has happened?" Panthro asked in a curious tone.
"It is a long story and we will tell you everything." Willa started to say until she was stopped unexpected.
"WILLA! WILLA! WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" One of her maidens shouted as she entered the medical hut.
"Calm down." Willa started to say. "What is the emergency?"
"Willa our forest is on fire." The aid stated.
"WHAT!?" Everyone replied.
"Explain quickly." Willa stated with anger in her tone.
"Our sentries reported that a strange person in golden armor is burning down the trees with a strange power and flaming sword. If something isn't done and fast our homes will be lost."
"Thundercats, I know that you are still recovering but can you help us save our homes." Willa asked with compassion in her tone.
"You don't even have to ask Willa." Lion-O stated as the weakened Thundercats started to get off their beds to help.
"Lion-O, Thundercats, thank you." Willa stated as the entire group started to leave the medical hut and headed down towards the base of the kingdom.
As the group started their journey down to the base of the kingdom, the golden armored warrior is continuing to burn every inch of the forest. As he continues to swipe his massive two-bladed sword, waves of pure fire started to come out of the sword and strike every tree within range.
"That's it burn into nothing, destroy the Warrior Maiden's home. No one shall ever dare to defile myself or my master ever again." The warrior shouted as the forest continued to burn. "Now where is my next target to destroy." He added as he started to enter the heart of the Warrior Maiden's home.
As he entered the clearing, every maiden from the Tree Top Kingdom started to aim their bows and arrows at the golden armored warrior.
"WHOEVER YOU ARE, STOP DESTROYING OUR HOMES!" The leader of the group shouted "THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING!"
"YOU DARE TO HELP THE ENEMIES OF MY MASTER!" The warrior shouted back. " THEN BURN!" HE added as he started to swing his sword.
"WARRIOR MAIDENS FIRE!" The leader shouted as all of the Maidens started to fire their arrows at the warrior.
As the Warrior Maidens fired their arrows at the golden warrior, the fire wave from the double sided sword completely vaporized the wooden arrows. As the flames continued to destroy the arrows, it also started to head towards the Maidens in the trees.
"EVERYONE MOVE NOW!" The leader shouted as the flames started to impact the tree branches blow the warriors.
As the flames started to burn through the branches, all of the Warrior Maidens were able to get away before they were all burned by the flames. After he had taken care of his small problem, the golden warrior continued to approach the clearing in order to destroy the homes of the Warrior Maidens once and for all.
As he approach the main tree, the elevator carrying both the Thundercats and the rest of their friends finally came down towards the ground to meet this newest enemy. As they all exited the elevator Lion-O started to approach the warrior.
"Who are you? Why are you doing this to our allies?" Lion-O stated while looking very carefully at the armor.
"Who I am is not important." The warrior started to say. "What is important is that my mission is to destroy you and the Planeteers for ruining my life and destroying my family."
"What are you talking about? We had never met." Lion-O replied in a most confused tone.
"It doesn't matter." The warrior started as he started to wield the Sword of Plunn-Darr at Lion-O.
"Who ever you are you will be stopped." Hachiman stated as he also started to wield his own sword out of it's sheet.
"I'm not afraid of your sword." The warrior started to say as he started to point his ring at the group. "Feel my power and burn. DARKNESS FIRE!" He shouted as a black beam started to emit from his ring.
"EVERYONE LOOK OUT!" Lion-O shouted as he started to deflect the beam with his sword.
As the black beam started to strike Lion-O's sword, it was being redirected towards another set of trees over to the right of the group. As the beam continued to be diverted, the trees started to catch on fire.
"LION-O STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!" Willa shouted. "YOU'RE BURNING MORE TREES!"
After hearing what was happening, Lion-O tried to re-direct the beam until he found the correct angle and diverted it into deep space. After a moment the dark energy beam started to disappear from the warrior's ring.
"Blast it." He started to say with anger in his tone. "You Thundercats will pay for what you have done to me and my world, but for now I shall leave and allow you to live for now." He added as he started to teleport away from the forest.
"What was that all about?" Panthro asked with some confusion.
"Never mind about him." Tygra started to say. "We have to put out these fires."
"Let's get to it Thundercats." Lion-O stated as he noticed something bothering Lynx-O.
"Lynx-O, are you OK?" Lion-O asked while they were attending to the fires.
"I'm not sure Lion-O." Lynx-O started to say. "Something about that golden warrior is bugging me. I sense that we do know him some how."
"I'm sure we will meet him again. He has a lot to answer for." Lion-O started to say in his most determined tone. "But for now we need to help our friends." He added as they all continued to take care of the fires.
As the Thundercats and their allies continued to tend to the fires, back in his Dark Pyramid Mumm-Ra wasn't sure how to react during the actions of his newest ally in evil. As he continued to watch Wheeler finally re-materialized on the opposite side of his evil cauldron.
"What happened out there?" Zarm started to say. "Why did you stop when you could destroy them all?"
"SILENCE!" Mumm-Ra roared while walking to his newest ally in evil. "My friend, why did you let them live?"
"Master." Wheeler started to say. "I know I was supposed to destroy them but instead I let them live in order for them to be at full force. Once that is done then I will finish all of them once and for all."
"I see." Mumm-Ra replied with a vicious tone in his voice. "Your arrogance is quite refreshing but don't let them get the upper hand."
"I won't my master." Wheeler replied as he, Mumm-Ra, Pollution and Zarm started to come up with a new plan of attack.
Unaware of what was going on at Mumm-Ra's home, the Thundercats and their friends have finally gotten all of the fires under control. As they continued to put each and every fire out, the charred remains of burned trees has released a lot of black smoke into the atmosphere.
"I'm glad that is taken care of." Panthro stated as he finished putting out the last of the small fires.
"Same here but I'm sorry about the damage done to your homes Willa." Tygra added with symphony in his tone.
"It is alright Thundercats." Willa started to say. "As long as no life was lost, then we can rebuild, but I'm still worried about Wheeler."
"Same here." Lion-O stated as he started to draw his sword out of the Clawshield. "Maybe the sword can find him. "He added as he placed the sword in front of his face. "Sword of Omens… Give me Sight Beyond Sight." Lion-O commanded as the sword started to respond in kind.
After the command made by Lion-O, the Sword of Omens started to respond once again by curling it's crossbars into two telescopic eye slots for the Lord to look through. As he continued to look through, the sword couldn't show Lion-O anything about Wheeler's position or his condition.
"Lion-O, what did you see?" Willa asked with much concern.
"Nothing. The sword showed me nothing. I don't understand it." Lion-O replied in a saddened tone.
"I'm sure Wheeler is alright." Hachiman stated as he approached his friend. "But for now, we should finish here and then rest up before heading back to your home to help the others."
"You're right Hachiman. Thundercats and friends let's finish up here as fast as we can." Lion-O stated as they all went back to work.
After Lion-O's statement, everyone went back to work on putting out every last one of the small fires. After they were done, they all took the elevator back to the Tree Top Kingdom and went back to the Main hut for dinner before they all got some rest. As night started to appear over the planet Willa and Mandora were keeping watch while the others got some well deserved rest.
"Mandora, is something bothering you?" Willa started to say. "You look distracted."
"I don't know." She started to respond in a very concerned tone. "After finding out that two of the Planeteers are my descendants my life has been turned upside down."
"In what way?"
"I never knew much about my past. I always wanted to be a defender of the law. I guess that in some way it is like the Planeteers. They were chosen to help save their home, and I chose to be a champion for the law."
"Well we are all better off because of the choices that we make in our lives."
"Yes but-" Mandora started to say before she started to feel strange.
"Mandora, are you alright?" Willa asked with much concern.
"I…I feel strange." Mandora started to say before she started to disappear and then re-appear only a moment afterwards.
"Mandora, are you alright?"
"I don't know. What happened to me?"
"You faded away from my vision and then quickly came back."
"It must have something to do with the Planeteer still stuck in stone. We must help them."
"We will Mandora but first we all need some rest."
"Aren't you worried about anyone?"
"Yes, I am worried about Nayda and my daughter Leia. They are still back at the lair and frozen in stone."
"How are you able to keep yourself together without falling apart?"
"It is hard for me, but I have to be strong for my people."
"When I was training in the academy, I was told that feelings was a weakness and that they would serve no useful purpose."
"But you passed every test right?"
"Yes, but I had to control my feelings or I would get into trouble."
"Well I'm glad that you are here for my people and the Thundercats and the Planeteers."
"Same here and I will not stop until I help the others rescue Wheeler."
"Come, it is nearly dawn and we have a lot to do today."
"I just hope that Mumm-Ra hasn't done anything to Wheeler yet."
"When it comes to Mumm-Ra and his evil plans who knows what he has in store for him and us."
"If you are trying to make me feel better Willa, you are doing a terrible job. "
"Sorry Mandora. It is just thanks to everyone that we have had years of peace and now this happens."
"Evil like criminals never stop no matter how much we want them to."
"I know the feeling."
"Same here."
"Come we need to start getting everything for breakfast and then off to the Lair to help the others. We would be honored if you would help us cook our food."
"I have never cooked anything in my life. Everything I eat is always prepared by the station and before that from my family."
"Well it is about time you learned something else." Willa stated as she placed her right hand on Mandora's left shoulder. "We will help you."
"Thank you." Mandora replied with a smile on her lower face. "Just don't be angry if I start to burn some food up."
"As long as you don't burn down our kitchen and homes, we will be fine." Willa replied as they both started to laugh before heading towards the Maidens kitchen to begin.
As the duo entered the kitchen, they all saw that they were not alone as the Thundercats, Hachiman, Quick-Pick and Char were also lending a hand in preparing their morning meals.
"What is all this?" Willa asked with much surprise in her tone.
"Have a seat Willa. This time the meals in on us." Tygra stated.
"It is our way of saying thank you for saving our lives." Lynx-O added.
"Besides, we all though it was about time that you had some outer space cuisines to sample." Lion-O added.
"That is really thoughtful of all of you, but shouldn't you all rest?" Willa stated as Mandora refused to go help.
"Willa, you helped us now let us repay you in kind." Tygra stated in his most honest tone.
"In that case we would be honored, but only on one condition."
"Name it." Panthro added.
"Please allow Mandora to help with the preparations of the meal."
"Now wait a minute Willa." Mandora started to say. "I don't think that I should help them out."
"Mandora." Lion-O stated while approaching Mandora. "We would be honored for your help as well. Char might have four arms, but he sometimes has trouble using them to prep the food." Lion-O stated while everyone started to laugh.
"Alright, alright. I'll help as well." Mandora stated as she went and grabbed a makeshift apron and then started to help the others.
As the Thundercats, and their friends started to get all of the ingredients ready to cook, Mandora, was helping Char prepare some eggs, as well as learning to make some of the Thundercats favorite dishes. As they continued to make the food, Panthro and Tygra started to use their Thundarian weapons as heat sources to help cook most of the food for what is going to be one of the best morning meals that they have ever had. As they continued, Quick-Pick was helping Lynx-O and Lion-O to set the table as well as making sure that the dishes were full of the food that was just about ready to serve. As they continued, Mandora started to get some flour on her lower face and then a short food fight started to happen. After the fight was over and they all had a good laugh about it, everything was ready for the Maidens morning meals. As they finished up Willa could already start to smell all of the dishes of food that they made in perfect harmony.
"Here we go Willa." Lion-O started to say as the rest of the Warrior Maidens entered the hut for their meals.
"Lion-O, you and the others did a fabulous job." She started to say. "The smells are incredible."
"Just wait till you taste them." Panthro added.
"We did have to modify some of the dishes." Tygra started to say. "Usually Snarf does the cooking but he did teach us how to make some of the meals just in case he was visiting relatives back on New Thundera or the Planet of the Snarfs."
"Just don't tell Snarf about this or he just might want us to do the cooking for now on." Lion-O stated as everyone laughed a little.
"It looks wonderful." Willa stated in her most proud tone.
"Willa, we would like you to say a few words before we start." Lynx-O started. "It is a Thundercat tradition for the honored person so say a few words before we eat."
"I would be honored Lynx-O." Mandora stated to say as she started to get up from her chair. "My friends, we celebrate this meal with loyal and trusting friends. And we honor those who can't be here with us right now, but we shall rescue the captured and free the imprisoned and stop the evil once and for all." She stated as she started to raise her cup of juice." To freedom and the return of the Thundercats and the Planteers."
"TO FREEDOM!" Everyone shouted as they all raises the cups before having morning meals.
After everyone had finished their toast they all started to eat the meals prepared by their guests. Willa and the other maidens were almost in heaven having meals that they have never tasted before. Willa also gave Mandora a thumbs up her part in preparing the food as well. When it was over her fellow maidens started to clean up as the Thundercats and their friends started to get ready for their trek back to the lair. As they were getting ready to leave, Willa showed up with a strange gift for one of her friends.
"Willa, are you ready to join us?" Lion-O asked while noticing that Willa had something in her left arm.
"I'm sorry my friends, but I am needed here to make sure that what happened to our homes doesn't happen again." Willa replied in a disappointed tone.
"We understand my dear." Lynx-O started to say. "Once we get Nayda and Leia freed we will bring them back to you."
"Thank you my friends." Willa started to say as she started to shift her gaze to Mandora. "Mandora, this is for you." Willa stated as she started to pass a fabric cloth to the officer.
"What is it?" Mandora asked as she started to open the cloth.
As Mandora started to open the folded cloth it started to unfold into a uniform that all of the Warrior Maidens wear every day.
"Willa? What is this for?" Mandora asked with some wonder.
"I told you that I was gonna make you an honorary member of my people and so you are. For now on you may consider yourself a sister our eyes.
"Congratulations Mandora." Lion-O stated in his most proud tone.
"Yes well done Mandora" Lynx-O added.
"Don't tell me she is gonna cry. If she does then I am outta here." Quick-Pick stated as Mandora started to give the green robotic alien a very mean look.
"Alright that is enough of that you two." Hachiman stated.
"Alright Thundercats it's time to head back to the lair." Lion-O stated as Willa was about to say something else.
"Hachiman, please fill them in on what happened on your way back. Maybe then they can help rescue Wheeler." Willa stated as Hachiman bowed his head in respect as they all headed out.
"Good luck my friends." Willa stated as she saw all of them disappear back into the forest.
As the group entered the forest, Hachiman as well as Mandora and Quick-Pick started to fill in the Thundercats on the events that has happened while they were all trying to recover from their battle with the new and improved Warbot. As they continued, the Thundercats couldn't believe what happened with the sword as well.
"I still can't believe that Wheeler and Willa were able to use the sword's power." Lion-O stated.
"The sword is a mystery in itself my young friend." Lynx-O started to say. "It will allow those who do not possess an evil heart access to it's power."
"Yes, but that golden warrior stills troubles me." Hachiman started to say. "He had a sword as well and a ring on his finger."
"I know Hachiman, and what makes matters worse is that is was the Sword of Plunn-Darr." Lion-O started to say. "And Mumm-Ra owns that sword."
"Then who was the golden warrior?" Panthro asked with wonder.
"I don't know Panthro, but something tells me that we will meet him again."
"Agreed Lion-O, but for now our friends back at the lair needs our help." Tygra stated.
"Come, the sooner we get back to the lair the soon we can help the others." Char stated as they all continued to approach the lair.
Unknown to the group of friends, Mumm-Ra and his allies were continuing to monitor and watch their every move. As they continued, the look on Mumm-Ra's face was one of evil and glee.
"Excellent, they are heading back for their final destruction." Mumm-Ra stated while still in mummy form.
"I am ready to strike my master." Wheeler stated while showing a clinched fist in his right hand.
"I know you are my warrior, but like you said before you must have a little patience and wait for the right opportunity to strike." He stated as he started to go down to one knee.
"Are you alright my master?" Wheeler stated while looking at his lord.
"I'm fine, I just need to rest." Mumm-Ra stated as he started to head back towards his evil sarcophagus. "I will return after resting then we will begin." He added as he enters his sarcophagus and the cover starts to close.
"I will be waiting my master." Wheeler stated while still under the mummy's control.
As all of this was happening, Zarm and Pollution continued to look on with much curiosity. As they continued to watch, Zarm started to piece together the secret of Mumm-Ra's power.
"So that is the source of his power." Zarm stated in a low enough voice so that Wheeler wouldn't hear.
"What are you talking about dude?" Pollution replied.
"Fool. That sarcophagus is the source of the mummy's power."
"So, what is that so important to us?"
"You idiot, with that power increasing our own, we can easily defeat those Thundercats and those Planeteers once and for all."
"Oh? And how do you supposed we get that power? I mean it is not like Mumm-Ra will allow us to go inside that thing and become more powerful."
"You leave that to me, but for now we'd have better check on our newest ally. Some tells me that a part of the punk-a-teer is still alive inside him somewhere."
"What makes you say that dude?"
"Wheeler could have finished everyone inside the forest and destroyed the trees, but he choose to let them live."
"Dude, remember that Mumm-Ra erased all of his memories."
"He may have erased the Planet-punk's memories but they maybe some remnants still in his heart."
"So what?"
"So you fool, if those feelings come into play then everything could be lost forever."
"So what are we gonna do about it dude?"
"For starters stop calling me dude and bring that Eco-geek here to me for a moment."
"Fine, fine don't blow a vein unless it is a toxic one." Pollution stated as he started to approach Wheeler.
"Amm dude." Pollution started to say towards Wheeler."
"What is it Pollution?" Wheeler responded in kind.
"Zarm would like to see you for a moment. He want's to talk to you about what happened before."
"I already told my master everything."
"I know dude but Zarm has a few ideas that might help."
"Alright." Wheeler replied as he and Pollution rejoined Zarm.
"Ah Wheeler, I just wanted to run a test on you just to make sure that you have fully recovered from your ordeal." Zarm stated in his own fiendish tone.
"I can assure the both of you that I am fine." Wheeler replied.
"It would only take a moment and I'm sure that Mumm-Ra would approve."
"Fine. What do I have to do?"
"Just close your eyes and I'll do the rest."
After Zarm's statement, Wheeler did as he was told and closed his eyes. After his eye were completely closed, Zarm fired a stun beam at Wheeler to freeze him in order to remove his feelings for his former friends.
"Now to find these feelings that Wheeler has for his friends." He stated as he started to wave his hands around in order to probe Wheeler's memories and feelings.
As Zarm started to probe Wheeler's memories to find the source of his feelings, Mumm-Ra has just finished recharging and started to emerge from his casket. As he finally emerged, the mummy started to see Zarm doing something strange to his newest ally in evil. As Zarm continued to probe he was almost interrupted when he started to hear a dark and familiar tone.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING TO MY NEWEST ALLY, ZARM!" Mumm-Ra shouted as he approached to small group.
"Don't get your bandages in an uproar Mumm-Ra." Zarm started to say. "I'm just making sure that those miserable Thundercats and those Planeteers won't be able to save their friend."
"Oh? Explain quickly."
"I'm probing this Planet-pest to make sure that his memories are gone as well as making sure that any lingering feelings are also erased."
"I know how do erase a person's memory."
"Yes, but these Planeteers have one weakness that you do not have."
"And what is that?"
"They care about each other and they also learn from there mistakes."
"Ah dude, that was two things." Pollution stated.
"Quiet you fool." Zarm stated as what he was looking for finally started to show itself. "Ah, this is what I have been looking for." He added as he started to see images of love for his fellow Planeteers as well as a special love for Gi and Linka. "Now to wipe these feeling out and then he is ours." Zarm stated as he started to shred Wheeler's feeling into tiny pieces and then destroy them. "Now Mumm-Ra, he is ours." He added as he started to wave his hands again to stop the probing and then fired another beam to awaken Wheeler.
"How do you feel Wheeler?" Mumm-Ra asked hoping that what Zarm did will take shape.
"I feel like a great weight has been lifted and now I am more determined than ever to destroy the Thundercats and their allies once and for all." Wheeler stated while showing a reddish glow in his eyes.
"Excellent my servant." The mummy stated as he started to gesture Wheeler to the casket. "Please enter and allow my dark power to increase your own power a thousand folds."
"Yes my master." Wheeler stated as he started to enter Mumm-Ra's casket.
"Mumm-Ra." Zarm started to say. "If you want my help for the other project then I will need a power boost to complete it. Now if I was able to step into your-"
"SILENCE!" The mummy roared. "ONLY I WILL DECIDE WHO WILL GET THE POWER INCREASE. I DON'T TRUST YOU AND POLLUTION."
"And you shouldn't but you should keep your options open."
"You may be right about that but for now, but let us savior for the moment that the Thundercats and the Planeteers will soon be destroyed and that it will be done by their former teammate."
"How long will it take for power to corrupt Wheeler?"
"Not long, about an hour, but once it is done there will be no way for him to return to his friends ever again. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" He laughed as lighting bolts started to flash in the skies above his Dark Pyramid.
As the Thundercats and their allies continued to head back towards what was left of their home, Wheeler was continually being bombarded by Mumm-Ra's evil energy rays. As he continued to lay still inside Mumm-Ra's casket the humanity that was inside Wheeler's body and soul was quickly being replaced by raw power and darkness. Even if the Thundercats are able to restore their friends, they maybe no match for the horror and the danger that awaits them.
