As the mid day sun started to shine over Third Earth's grounds, high up in the atmosphere, a fireball started to appear as it penetrated the planet. As the fireball started to get lower and lower, the flames covering it started to disappear and a shape started to emerge. As the flames finally started to vanish, the shape of the Thundercat's Feliner vehicle started to emerge as the craft finally finished entering the Atmosphere of Third Earth, everyone inside the vehicle was shocked at what they were seeing.
"GREAT JAGA!" Lion-O shouted as they started to see what was left of the Thundercats Cat's Lair.
As soon as Lion-O finished shouting, both himself, Linka and Panthro were in a state of shock over seeing what has happened to their home.
After their last battle with Mumm-Ra's newest allies in evil, the Lair's Cat Head was completely ripped off from the Lair's foundation, but this time, most of the Lair has been completely destroyed. As they looked on, the claws and the lower section of the Lair was intact, but the upper section, where the head would go as well as the Thundercat symbol was completely crushed. It was like something very strong and powerful started to press down on the lair and completely imploded the structure. As the Feliner finally finished it's landing procedure, everyone started to exit the vehicle but one person inside the Feliner was starting to have an emotional breakdown.
"CHEETARA! CHEETARA!" Lion-O shouted as Panthro and Linka also started to get out of the Feliner.
"Lion-O, calm down. We don't know what happened here." Panthro stated as he tried to calm down the Lord of the Thundercats.
"Lion-O, please you have to stop and calm down." Linka started to say. "I'm sure that everyone is safe."
"But what happened here? We were only gone for a day." Lion-O stated in a confused tone in his voice.
"I don't know Lion-O, but we will find out what happened here and find everyone." Panthro started to say in his most honest and reassuring tone.
"I know Panthro it's just that-" Lion-O started to say when everyone started to hear some sort of noise coming from what was left of the Lair.
"LION-O!" Linka shouted while seeing some rocks move at the base of the lair.
"I see it Linka." Lion-O replied as he gestured everyone to follow him.
As the Thundercats and Planeteer started to reach the base of the lair, they started to see small pieces of rock being moved around. It was like someone was trying to uncover themselves from a secret hiding spot. After finding where the rocks were moving around, Lion-O Panthro and Linka started to move some more rocks out of the way to reveal some sort of secret panel.
"Panthro what is this?" Linka asked with wonder.
"It's an entrance to a underground control room for the Cat's Lair. Tygra and I built it a long time ago when we first came here. We knew that if the Lair was ever seriously damaged that we would need a backup to try and keep the Lair safe." Panthro stated in his most honest tone.
"Well it looks like someone is under this panel." Linka started to say as the panel started to burst open.
As the panel on the ground started to open up, two furry animals as well as a Bulkin and a Wolo started to emerge from the underground location. After helping everyone out, both furry animals started to get their bearings as well as starting to see who was helping them out.
"Thanks for the hand brrrrrr. LION-O, PANTHRO, LINKA!" Snarf started to shout. "BOY IS IT GOOD TO SEE YOU GUYS! Snarf snarf."
"LION-O?! IT IS! OH IT'S SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!" Snarfer shouted as both Snarf and Snarfer started to give Lion-O a big hug.
"Snarf, Snarfer, what in Jaga's name happened here. " Lion-O started to say in a confused tone. "We were only gone for a day at least."
"Brrrr. It is a long story Lion-O." Snarf stated while having a saddened look on his face.
"What happened to the others?" Panthro asked with wonder.
"Snarfer, Snarfer. They were all captured by Mumm-Ra's forces."
"WHAT?!" The Thundercats and Linka yelled.
"It's true Thundercats." The Bulkin stated in his most honest tone." They all left to protect our homes from destruction but then was captured."
"Kwami, Ma-Ti, were they captured as well?" Linka asked with much concern.
"I'm afraid so my dear." The Wolo replied with a saddened look on his face.
"Quickly, tell us what exactly happened here and why it looks like the Lair was almost crushed to the ground." Lion-O stated in his most determined tone.
As Snarf, Snarfer, the Bulkin and the Wolo started to fill Lion-O and the others in on what happened, let's all go back in time to when the Feliner had finally disappeared from the Planet's view.
As the Feliner continued to travel through the depths of deep space, back in his home, the Ancient Spirit of Evil was just about to launch his biggest threat ever to destroy the Thundercats and their allies. As the dark sky continued to strike all four of the mini Pyramids with its powerful lighting bolts, deep inside his home the Blood Red cloaked mummy started to enjoy what he was seeing inside his magic cauldron.
"Excellent. Everything is going according to plan. The lord of the Thundercats and two of those pesky Planeteers are out of the way. Now it is time to strike and make the people of Third Earth regret betraying me." Mumm-Ra stated as he started to wave his arms to change the image in his magic Cauldron. "Are you ready to strike?" Mumm-Ra added as he started to shift his attention towards his new allies in evil.
"Dude, I've been ready for hours." Pollution stated with a sadistic look on his face.
"Not so fast Mumm-Ra." Zarm started to say. "What if our ally on New Thundera fails us?"
"If he does fail us, then that means that the Thundercats would have to break their most sacred of codes. Never attack a fellow Thundercat." Mumm-Ra stated while his red eyes started to glow. "Now to organize the rest of the troops." He added as he started to look back at his cauldron. "DRILLER, MASSIVE DEMION OF THE EARTH! MUMM-RA SUMMONS YOU TO BATTLE! APPEAR BEFORE ME AT ONCE!" He yelled into the air.
After a moment, a tornado started to appear in front of Mumm-Ra on the opposite side of his magic Cauldron. As the tornado started to vanish, a silver being with a giant drill bit started to appear in front of him.
"Is it time to strike Mumm-Ra?" Driller started to say in a bored tone. "I need something to do before I go crazy from doing nothing."
"It is time Driller." Mumm-Ra started to say in his most evilest tone. "Attack the Wolos village and destroy everything. Leave nothing standing."
"As you command mighty Mumm-Ra, just remember to give me the rest of my payment after I'm done."
"You will get your Diamonds Driller. My word is my bond."
"Yea right." Pollution whispered while listening to Mumm-Ra and Driller.
"Quiet you fool." Zarm whispered back.
"Don't be silly Dude." Pollution continued to whisper. "It's not like he can hear us."
"OH NO!" Mumm-Ra yelled as he started to turn his attention towards Pollution and Zarm.
"Now you've done it you fool." Zarm stated in his normal tone.
"Calm down dude." Pollution started to say in a frantic tone. "I didn't mean anything by it. What I meant to say is that-"
"SILENCE YOU FOOL!" Mumm-Ra yelled while cutting off Pollution in mid sentence. "I know what you meant and if we weren't so close to victory, then I would make you pay for your words."
"Calm down Mumm-Ra. Besides save your anger for our enemies and total victory." Zarm stated with a sadistic look on his face.
"On that I agree, but don't make me regret giving you a pass Pollution."
"No Problem dude." Pollution stated in his most honest and scared tone.
"Now to recruit one more set of allies in order to destroy the remaining Thundercats." Mumm-Ra stated as he once again started to wave his hands over his Cauldron's mystic
As the mummy continued to wave his arms, a image of a pirate ship started to appear inside the Cauldron. This ship has a skull in the front as well as men wearing metal armor and their leader with a metal arm and fist. After a moment the image started to shift from the outside of the ship towards the leader of the pirates.
"HAMMERHAND!" Mumm-Ra started to shout towards the image. "I HAVE NEED OF YOU AND YOUR BERSERKERS!"
"Mumm-Ra." Hammerhand started to reply in his most shocked tone. "What in the world do you want from me and my crew now? We almost lost everything after helping you the last time."
"Ah, but this time I can give you something that you've always wanted."
"And what might that be?"
"All of the Unicorns in the Unicorn forest. Help me to defeat the Thundercats once and for all and the Unicorns are all yours."
"Come on boss, this sounds like a good deal." Another pirate stated while wielding a spiked ball and chain.
"SILENCE TOP SPINNER!" Hammerhand started to shout. "THIS SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE!"
"Come on boss." Another pirate started to say with a metal red helmet on his head. "When do we ever get a chance to have Unicorns for free. I say we take the deal."
"BE QUIET RAM-BAM OR I WILL TIE YOU TO THE MAST!"
"Boss be reasonable. Just do it and the Unicorns will be ours." Cruncher started to say with a smirk on his face. "Plus maybe we can capture that black-haired wench from before. I like her style and fire."
After Cruncher's statement, Hammerhand started to laugh with excitement and glee.
"Hammerhand?" Ram-Bam started to say with a confused look on his face. "Is everything alright?"
"I'm fine Ram-Bam, it is just that this is the first time that my crew has made me change my mind on anything." Hammerhand stated while placing his repaired metal fist on the ship's steering wheel. "We will do it Mumm-Ra, only if we can get the blacked haired wench and the fool who made me spend alot of our ill gotten goods on fixing my metal hand."
"Very well Hammerhand. A bargain is struck." Mumm-Ra started to say with a grin on his mummified face. "Now get to work." After his statement the mummy once again started to wave his hands and remove the image from the Cauldron. A moment later the mummy started to shift his attention towards Pollution, Zarm and Driller. "Are you all ready to carry out your jobs?" He asked in his most eager tone.
"Ready to go." Zarm replied.
"I am ready, just remember my payment." Driller stated.
"Come on already, let's get this show on the road, dude." Pollution added.
"One moment my friend." The mummy stated as another image started to appear inside his Cauldron. "First I have to make sure that Blight's computer is finished with its task." He added as he started to speak into the Cauldron's image. "Dr. Blight, this is Mumm-Ra, is your computer friend ready to go?"
"Mumm-Ra?!" Blight yelled in a confused tone. "I'm not sure yet." She added as she started to turn towards the main computer in Castle Plunn-Darr. "MEL, are you done yet? Our benefactor wants an update." She added.
After a moment MEL's computerized green face started to materialize on the main computer of Castle Plun-Darr.
"Hello there Doctor." The computer replied.
"Mel sweetie, are you done with your task for Mumm-Ra yet?" Blight asked in her most romantic tone.
"All modifications and system checks are completed my dearest doctor." The computer replied in it's most honest tone.
"MEL, are you sure that everything is ready to go?" Mumm-Ra started to say in his most angered tone. "I want to be able to crush those pesky Thundercats now that their leader is light years away."
"Don't worry about a thing Mumm-Ra." MEL started to say. "I have computed that after the attack begins you will win in under a day."
"Are you sure about those facts?" Blight asked with concern.
"My dearest doctor, I'm never wrong about my calculations." MEL replied with a smile on his computerized face.
"There is always a first time bit brain." Nukem stated in a angered tone. "Every time you calculate that we will win, we loose big time."
"But this time the leader of the Thundercats is off world and the Planeteers are down by three. We can easily overpower the other Thundercats, destroy their allies and conquer everyone."
"Your computerized friend speaks well Doctor. We will begin the attack momentarily." Mumm-Ra stated with a grin on his face.
"Not yet Mumm-Ra." MEL started to say. I need to make one final systems check before we begin."
"How long do you need?" The mummy asked with wonder and anger in his tone.
"At least an hour to do a proper scan."
"You have only 10 minutes."
"10 minutes?!" MEL shouted in his most computerized tone. "But that isn't enough time to-
"10 MINUTES AND THAT IS ALL!" The mummy yelled. "I've been waiting for a chance like this to happen for years and now I want to take full advantage. 10 minutes and not a second more."
"All right, but I can't guarantee that all systems will work." MEL replied as he started to run his scans at super top speed.
"Just make sure that you are ready to move out." Mumm-Ra stated through his Cauldron.
"Mighty Mumm-Ra, if I may suggest something." Zarm stated with an evil and nice tone in his voice. "What if we started the plan right now and keep everyone distracted so that MEL could finish his scans in the proper time.
"DO YOU QUESTION MY DECISION TO MOVE FORWARD?!" Mumm-Ra shouted in anger towards Zarm while turning his attention towards him and Pollution.
"Not at all, but listen to reason. Every time you started to launch a plan, something always goes wrong and the Thundercats win. This time however you need to start thinking outside of the box. Let Blight's computer work on his scans for the hour and the rest of us will cause such chaos and destruction that the Thundercats will never know what is happening until it is too late."
"You speak wise and well, but do not test me any further." Mumm-Ra replied as he started to turn his attention back towards his Cauldron. "MEL, you may have your full hour. Complete your tasks and be done with it."
"Th-Thank you mighty one." MEL replied as he started to run his tests at normal speed.
"Just don't make me regret my decision." Mumm-Ra replied as he started to remove the image from his Cauldron. "Now to begin the assault." He started to say as he started to shift his attention towards Driller, Zarm and Pollution. "Driller, you will attack the Wolos, Zarm you will attack the Berbils and Pollution, I want you to attack the Warrior Maidens. I want them all to pay the price for aligning themselves with the Thundercats and their cause."
"But what if the Thundercats and the remaining Planeteers try to stop us?" Zarm asked with a curious tone in his voice.
"I want you to capture them and bring them all to me. For their roll in beating me all of these years, I shall make them all serve me as my slaves."
"Now that would be something cool to see dude." Pollution replied with a grin on his yellow and brown face.
"Now be gone and complete your tasks." Mumm-Ra replied as he started to strike his warriors with energy blasts while at the same time starting to teleport them to their destinations. "Do not fail me." He added as the eyes of his statues started to glow red.
As Mumm-Ra's plan started to go into full swing, back at the Lair, the Thundercats and the remaining Planeteers were starting to say good bye to some friends who had their own lives and missions to get back to. As Char, Mandora, Hachiman and Mumm-Rana were getting ready to depart outside the Lair, Ma-Ti and the remaining Thundercats were giving their friends a proper good-bye while Bengali stayed in the medical wing still looking after Kwami and Cheetara.
"Are you sure you have to leave us?" Wilykit asked in an upset tone.
"Yeah, can't you guys stay a little while longer?" Wilykat added.
"I'm sorry Thundercats, but I have to go back on patrol. Evildoers never rest so I can't rest either." Mandora stated in her most stern tone.
"I also have to head back home to my people. I have to make sure that everyone back home is protected. It is the job of a Shogun to look after his people." Hachiman added.
"I also need to leave. I need to recharge my powers." Mumm-Rana started to say as she started to kneel down towards the Thunderkittens. "But I will promise to return when you need my help again." She added as the Thunderkittens gave her a big hug.
"I am glad to have met all of you. Since coming here with my friends, it has been one adventure after another." Ma-Ti started to say as Hachiman started to approach the youngest Planeteer.
"My young friend, you may be the youngest of your group, but your power is the strongest of them all." Hachiman stated as Ma-Ti looked confused.
"What do you mean by that? I don't understand?" Ma-Ti stated as a familiar family member started to walk behind Ma-Ti.
"He means that your power has brought everyone here together and will continue to grow in everyone's hearts." The voice stated as Ma-Ti started to turn around.
"Gaia. Thank you." Ma-Ti started to say with still confused and worried. "I appreciate what you say Gaia, but I'm still worried about Gi and Linka. I hope that they can free Wheeler and bring him back to us."
"Ma-Ti, if anyone can help your friend return to you Lion-O san and your friends can do it. You just need to have some faith." Hachiman stated with a smile and confidence in his tone. A moment later the Samurai started to place his helmet back on top of his head. "Mandora, Mumm-Rana are you ready to go?"
After Hachiman's question both Mandora and Mumm-Rana started to nod their heads.
"But how will you get home by the way?" Wilykit asked with some wonder.
"Yea, I mean I don't think that Mandora's Electro cycle would be able to carry all of you at the same time." Wilykat added.
"I will be taking them all home. Consider it a favor for when your friends here helped me reclaim my ship from Zarm and Pollution." Char stated while picking up Mandora's cycle with his two upper arms.
"Watch it Char. That is still Galactic property." Mandora stated while seeing Char lift up her cycle.
"I'll treat it with kid gloves Mandora, plus if you like I can run a maintenance check on it and possibly give it an upgrade."
"Fine but nothing illegal. I'd rather keep my cycle in a proper and law abiding condition."
"Don't worry Mandora, I'll help to make sure he doesn't." Quick-Pick, the green skinned robotic alien stated from behind Char.
"Now I know I will be sorry." Mandora stated as everyone started to laugh a little.
"Hachiman, we Thundercats are very honored that you and the others have come to us in our hour of need." Tygra stated as he started to grab Hachiman's right arm with his own right hand.
"It is my honor to help you Thundercats. Time and time again you have saved my life and the life of all others in deep space and on Third Earth. For us, this was our chance to repay the dept." Hachiman stated as he started to use his left hand and mouth to whistle for his mechanical steed. "But for now I have to return home to take care of my people, but if you ever need me again, then please send a message."
"Or we could just send Mandora to get you again." Lynx-O stated with a grin on his face.
"That would also be a nice surprise." Hachiman replied as Mandora started to blush a little behind her face helmet.
"What about Nayda? I thought that she would be heading back to her people as well?" Mandora asked with some wonder.
"Nayda wanted to stay here for a while longer to help Bengali finish up some work for our Wolo Friends." Tygra stated with an honest tone.
"I think Nayda wanted to spend some more time with Kwami in the medical bay." Wilykit stated with a smile on her face.
"Wilykit, whatever you are thinking of, get that thought out of your head." Tygra stated in his most honest tone.
"It is alright Tygra." Lynx-O started to say while hearing everything. "I could sense that Nayda has started to develop some strong feelings for our Planeteer friend."
"I don't need my ring to understand that either." Ma-Ti added as everyone started to laugh again.
"Alright everyone." Char started to say while trying not to be rude to the group. "Char flight 001 is now ready for boarding. All passengers please present all ID's and make sure to stow all belongings inside the cargo bay before takeoff. Lets' have a nice flight." He finished as everyone all started to laugh after what Char stated.
"Well my friends it's been my pleasure." Hachiman stated as his mechanical steed approached him and then started to enter Char's ship.
"Thundercats, Ma-Ti, I promise to return and help out once my powers are fully restored." Mumm-Rana stated as she started to bow to show her respect before entering Char's ship.
"I promise to return as well. When I get back home, I am going to have our scholars do some research about finding a way to send you and your friends home." Hachiman stated as he started top enter the ship.
"I will also consult the Ancient Spirits of Goodness to help as well." Mumm-Rana added as she started to enter the ship as well.
"I'm going to go back on patrol, but I will contact my commanding officer to see if he can help as well." Mandora started to say as she started to enter Char's ship. "See you soon Thundercats." She added as the loading ramp into Char's ship finally started to close up.
After a few minutes, the massive engines underneath Char's massive space cruiser started to power up and then started to lift itself back into the clear blue sky. As everyone continued to watch in awe, Char's ship started to emit a bluish light around itself activating it's own Faster than Light drive system. Within moments of activating it's FDL drive system, Char's massive ship disappeared into a flash of light and then vanished.
As Char's ship vanished, all of the Thundercats plus Ma-Ti started to head back into the Lair to continue repairs as well as try to re-connect the Lair's massive Cat Head.
As everyone continued to re-enter the Lair, back in the main control room, Pumyra continued to monitor everything that was happening on their home while back in the medical wing, Bengali and Nayda continued to take care of both Cheetara and Kwami.
"Nayda, how are those results for both Cheetara and Kwami coming along?" Bengali asked with some concern.
"Here you go Bengali." Nayda replied as she handed him the latest results.
"Let's see here." Bengali started to say while looking at the results." Looks like Kwami should be able to walk on his own within an hour. As for Cheetara, all of her tests show that she is in perfect health."
"But what about her Sixth Sense?"
"I'm afraid that is something that medical science can't fix. I know she still has it inside her somewhere, but it would appear that some part of her mind is blocking it out."
"You said that she responded to Kwami's hypnosis treatment. Could you try it again?"
"I could, but I don't want to cause her any more pain. As a doctor, we have an oath to do no harm to anyone."
"I understand that but this is Cheetara's choice, isn't it?"
"It is, but I'm just not so sure that it would work a second time."
"I think we should ask Cheetara and see what she thinks."
"I agree. Then afterwards you can help Kwami with some physical therapy." Bengali stated as Nayda's cheeks started to blush bright red. "Something wrong?" Bengali added after he started to notice Nayda's face.
"No…. No nothing is w…wrong at all."
"Come on Nayda. Something is on your mind."
"It.. It is just. I… I think that I might be in love with your Planeteer friend. I don't understand why this is happening to me."
"I think I do." Bengali started to say as he got up from his chair. "You have been with your sister for a long time and now we have the Planeteers here and one of them was from Africa. Also he also works to protect their home from destruction."
"Yes. But that doesn't explain why I started to fall in love with him. I mean he only kissed my cheek after we finished talking about how our home reminds him of Africa."
"Maybe, but for you it was unexpected."
"Yes it was. I don't know what to do about all of it. I'm so confused."
"Go and talk to Kwami while helping out with his therapy. I think that you both need this."
"Ok." Nayda replied as she started to head towards Kwami and Cheetara.
"Just take it easy with him. He still needs time to heal."
"Fine, but no promises." Nayda replied with a small smile as Bengali started to chuckle a little.
As Bengali and Nayda continued to have their discussion, in the Medical bay, Kwami and Cheetara were still laying down on their Bio-Beds while waiting for their latest test results.
"How are you feeling Cheetara?" Kwami asked with some concern for his Thundercat friend.
"Still the same Kwami, but something is off." Cheetara replied with concerned look on her face.
"Are you still trying to piece together the images you saw from before?"
"Yes, but." Cheetara replied with a saddened tone in her voice.
"What is it?" Kwami asked with much worry.
"I feel like I can't do anything without my Sixth Sense."
"I believe I know how you feel Cheetara." Kwami replied in his most caring and honest tone.
"You do? How?"
"On one of our missions as Planeteers I kept seeing people destroying their home soil and their environment while ignoring me and others who wanted to protect their homes. After that I decided to quit the Planeteers. I gave back my ring to Gaia because I had completely lost hope for everyone and everything."
"I'm sorry. I didn't know." Cheetara started to say in her most honest tone. "What happened next?"
"Gaia showed me that a young girl started to care for her home and it started to re-ignite my hope that everyone really does care for the Earth. Then while I was in a very bad situation, Gaia gave me back my ring and I re-joined the Planeteers."
"I'm happy to hear that but what does this have to do with me?"
"You can never loose hope for any reason. When things are at their darkest, that is when hope burns bright in each of us."
After hearing Kwami's answer to her question, Cheetara paused for a moment before responding back.
"Kwami, I believe I know what you are trying to tell me and I just want to say thank you."
"If I may ask, for what?"
"For telling me that I shouldn't give up and that I should stop feeling sorry for myself."
"That is what I was trying to tell you so, you're welcome." Kwami stated with a small smile on his face.
As Cheetara and Kwami continued to have their conversation, both Nayda and Bengali started to enter the room, to chat with their patients.
"And how are my two favorite people doing today?" Bengali asked with a smirk on his face.
"Just waiting till I can get back on my feet and help my team out Bengali." Kwami replied.
"Well I'm happy to say that you can start doing that after some physical therapy."
After Bengali's response, Nayda's face started to blush up again, but she was able to hide it before anyone started to notice.
"Nayda, I think you should start his therapy right away." Bengali stated as he started to gesture Nayda to Kwami's bedside.
"All right." Nayda replied as she started to approach Kwami's bed. "Now just put your arm around me and I'll help you up." She added as she started to blush again when the Earth Planeteer placed his right arm around the back of Nayda's neck.
"Kwami, before you begin your therapy, I have something to ask you and Cheetara." Bengali stated as Kwami and Nayda stopped in their tracks.
"Of course Bengali. What is it?" Kwami asked with wonder.
"Cheetara, do you still want to try and regain contact with your Sixth Sense?"
"Of course I do Bengali. Why do you ask?" Cheetara asked with some wonder for Bengali's question.
"I had to be sure. The last time we tried Kwami's form of treatment, it caused you great pain. I don't want to put you in that same situation again."
"I understand your concerns." Cheetara started to say as she started to sit up on the bed. "But I have to try no matter what the cost."
"But trying to force you to access you Sixth Sense could kill you from the intense pain."
"Bengali, Cheetara is a strong and resilient Thundercat. I'm positive that she can do this." Kwami stated to say with honesty in his tone as Nayda started to blush after hearing those words as well.
"Nayda, is something wrong?" Cheetara asked while noticing Nayda's face turn a little red.
"No… No… Nothing is wrong." Nayda replied while still feeling a little nervous helping Kwami.
"Nayda, is there something on your mind that we should know about?" Kwami asked with some concern as he started to see the redness on the young Warrior Maiden's face.
"Actually there is something I need to talk to you about, in private." Nayda replied while trying to control her feelings.
"Alright." Kwami replied as he started to shift his attention towards Bengali and Cheetara. "Bengali, is it alright for us to use your office for a private chat?" Kwami asked with wonder in his tone.
"Of course Kwami." Bengali started to say with an honest tone. "I'm sure that you and Nayda have lots to talk about. Just try not to break anything while you're in my office. I still have to run a few more tests and finish up those medical records for our Wolo Friends."
"We promise." Nayda replied as she started to help Kwami into Bengali's office.
As both Kwami and Nayda started to head into Bengali's medical office, Cheetara started to have a worried look on her face.
"Bengali, should we be worried about Kwami and Nayda?" Cheetara asked in her most caring tone.
"I don't believe so." Bengali started to say in his most calm tone. "Nayda just has a lot on her mind, plus I do believe she is smittened by our African Planeteer friend."
"I'm happy for her."
"Same here but we might have a problem."
"What do you mean?"
"Don't forget Cheetara, that our Planeteer friends were brought here against their will by Mumm-Ra's magic and their enemies science. We don't even know if we can send them back home."
"I believe I know what you are worried about."
"I'm sure you do Cheetara, but for now, let me run another set of scans to try and help you get better."
"Alright. I know better than to argue with a doctor."
"I'm sure Lion-O will be happy to hear that when he and the others get back from New Thundera."
"I hope so." Cheetara started to say while starting to feel a little saddened in her tone. "I just told Lion-O my true feelings for him and his for mine. I want to show him how much I love him."
"Believe me Cheetara, Lion-O already knows how you feel about him, but just remember he is still a young boy inside a man's body."
"I know and I am going to help him in every way possible."
"That maybe so but you need to have patience with him. He still needs to lean a lot about life and love."
"I understand that and I am going to help him understand everything that he needs to know." Cheetara stated as an alarm started to go out through out the entire Lair.
As Bengali and Cheetara started to have their conversation, Nayda had just helped the Earth Planeteer sit down on a chair, and a moment later, she herself started to place a chair in front of Kwami before she started to sit down as well.
"Alright, now what did you want to tell me Nayda." Kwami asked with some concern and wonder.
"It is hard for me to say Kwami. I've been having these strange feelings ever since that day when you first kissed my cheek." Nayda replied while her face started to flush red.
"What exactly are you trying to tell me Nayda?" Kwami replied with concern in his tone.
After Kwami's question, the warrior maiden just took in a deep breath, closed her eyes and started to give Kwami her most passionate kiss that she had even done.
As Nayda started to press her lips against Kwami's, a rush of pure emotion started to come from the female as the kiss started to become more passionate. After a moment the two parted lips, as Nayda finally realized what she had done.
"K…Kwami." Nayda started to say while starting to feel really embarrassed about what happened. "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me I-" She was about to continue until Kwami cut her off.
"It is OK Nayda." The Earth Planeteer started to say with an honest tone in his voice. "You have nothing to apologize for."
"But the kiss?'
"Actually I wanted to do that as well when we were alone for the first time."
"Why didn't you?" Nayda asked with wonder.
"In all honesty, I don't know how long myself and my fellow Planeteers will be here for. So I didn't want to start anything that would cause you pain in the long run."
"And now?"
"Well it would appear that we might be staying here a lot longer then we all thought before."
"So would that mean that we could?"
"I'm not making any promises Nayda, but it might be possible." Kwami replied as Nayda started to give him another passionate kiss.
As they both continued to kiss, their moment of bliss was interrupted by the sounds of the Lair's alarms going off.
"What's happening?" Kwami asked after breaking the kiss with Nayda.
"That's the Thundercats danger alarm sounding." Nayda started to say as she started to get up from her chair. "We better see what is going on." She added as she started to help Kwami back to his feet "Ready to go?"
"I am." Kwami replied as Nayda started to help the Earth Planeteer out of the office and re-join the others.
As Kwami and Nayda exited Bengali's office, Bengali and Cheetara were also wondering why the alarms inside the Lair were going off.
"Bengali, what is happening?" Kwami asked while still hearing the alarms.
"One moment and I'll check." Bengali replied as he started to activate the Medical bay's comm link. "Medical bay to anyone, what is happening?" He asked as silence started to appear from the comm link.
After a moment a voice started to come out from the comm link.
"Bengali, this is Pumyra, we have a major problem." Pumyra stated through the comm link.
"What is the problem?" Kwami asked while hearing everything.
"Kwami, our allies are under attack." Pumyra started to say. "The Wolos, the Berbils and the Warrior Maidens home are all under attack from Mumm-Ra's forces."
"WILLA!" Nayda yelled.
"Calm down Nayda, we will go and help them." Bengali replied.
"But we can't all go, our other friends are in trouble as well." Cheetara added.
"We would have to split our forces up to get to everyone at the same time." Lynx-O replied through the comm.
"But in order to do that we would need everyone we have right now to help." Kwami stated.
"I can use my Heart power to tell everyone that help is on the way and then go to help the Wolos." Ma-Ti stated through the comm.
"But you would need help to defeat Mumm-Ra's forces." Bengali stated.
"Here is what we should do." Lynx-O started to say in his most honest tone. "Bengali, is Kwami and Cheetara able to help?"
"Kwami should be fine, he just needs some physical therapy for his leg, but otherwise his is fine."
"And what about Cheetara?"
"I should be fine. Except for my Sixth sense being blocked somehow, I'm still able to fight." Cheetara stated with pride in her tone.
"I should be alright as well." Kwami stated as he started to remove himself from Nayda's arm.
"Kwami, you need to rest." Bengali stated as he started to see what the Earth Planeteer was doing.
"There will be plenty of time for rest once we help our friends. They are our top priority."
"Spoken like a true Thundercat." Pumyra replied through he comm.
"Fine then, here are the teams." Lynx-O started to say. "Kwami, you Cheetara will go with Nayda to help the Warrior Maidens. Bengali, you and Pumyra will go and help the Wolos. Ma-Ti, Tygra and I will go help the Berbils."
"What about us?" Wilykit asked through the comm.
"We need you and Wilykat to stay here and help Snarf and Snarfer take care of the Lair."
Just then Pumyra started to register another problem for the Thundercats.
"I'm afraid that we have another problem Lynx-O." Pumyra started to say. "The Unicorn Keepers are under attack from Hammerhand and his Berserkers."
"They must be after the Unicorns again." Wilykat started to say. "We have to help them as well Lynx-O."
After a moment, the blind and wise Thundercat started to speak again.
"Alright, Wilykat and Wilykit go and help the Unicorn keepers. Snarf and Snarfer will have to take care of the Lair as well as our guests while the rest of us are out."
"Right." Both kittens stated at the same time.
"Thundercats" Lynx-O stated.
"HO!" Everyone shouted at the same time.
As the Thundercats and the remaining Planeteers were saying good-bye to their friends, Mumm-Ra's plan of attack has already started with their first target.
At the base of their home, two of the Warrior Maidens were continuing to repair the damage done to them when Wheeler was under Mumm-Ra's control. As they continued to try and help the trees heal up they both started to get into a heated discussion about what happened.
"Think this will be enough?" One of the maidens stated as they started to place some special materials on top of the tree's burn marks.
"I don't know. There sure is a lot of damage." The other Maiden stated.
"We should get Willa to punish the person responsible for this mess." The first maiden replied.
"I agree with you but Willa decreed that the person responsible for this was not in his right mind."
"Still that person deserves to pay." The first maiden started to say with a determined look on her face. "Does Willa know who it was?"
"Yes. I was within earshot when Willa and the Thundercats were talking. It was Wheeler who did this."
"Then we should make him pay by Warrior Maiden Justice."
"But Willa said-"
"I don't care what Willa said." The Maiden stated while seeing anger develop in her tone. "He deserves to pay for what he has done to us."
"I know but he is a friend of the Thundercats and he couldn't help himself. He was under Mumm-Ra's power."
"I don't care about what and why. He caused a crime against us and Maiden law demands retribution."
"I don't know about that."
"Well I do and I am going to tell Willa right now." The first maiden stated as she started to head towards the elevator and towards Willa's hut.
"Wait for me." "I have a bed feeling about this." The other maiden stated and thought while running after her friend.
As the Maidens were heading back up the elevator towards Willa's hut, down on the ground and hidden behind a few bushes, Pollution was secretly listening in on the two Maidens's conversation.
"Nice job there Eco-geek. I sure would like to watch the fireworks happen when you get back, but for now I need to have some fun as well." Pollution stated as he started to rise up from the bushes, and started to fire his energy beams at the already burned trees. "This should get their attention and then the real fun will begin." Pollution added as he started to chuckle while watching his handy work take shape.
As Pollution was beginning to work his magic at the base, back in her main hut, both Willa and Leia were going over the reports from Wheeler's attack.
"Is this the latest info Leia?" Willa asked with some concern.
"As far as I know yes." Leia started to say while starting to feel a little sad on the inside.
"How bad are our sisters?"
"Some of them have a few burnt marks, some scratching and a few broken bones. But all of that will heal in time."
"Something on your mind daughter?" Willa asked while seeing Leia's sadness start to show.
"What are we going to do about this Willa? How are we gonna survive if more of our sisters get hurt?"
"Leia, calm down." Willa stated as she started to get off her throne of wood and comfort her daughter. "We will survive. We did before and we will again."
"AT WHAT COST WILLA!" A female voice shouted as she entered the main hut.
"What are you doing here?" Willa spoke to the Maiden who shouted as she released her daughter from their hug. "I thought that repairing and securing the base of our home was everyone's top priority."
"It is but so is justice." The Maiden spoke in her most determined tone.
"Listen, I know that you are upset and everything but we can't just go and arrest a friend of the Thundercats for what happened."
"So you are gonna let the one who did all of this walk away scott free?" The maiden started to say while her anger started to boil.
"You don't know all of the facts."
"I KNOW THE FACTS, AND WHO DID THIS!" The warrior started to yell. "IT WAS WHEELER WHO DID THIS AND HE SHOULD BE MADE TO PAY FOR WHAT HE DID TO OUR SISTERS!"
"How did you know his name?" Willa asked as another Maiden entered the hut.
"Willa, please don't be mad at me , but I told her what happened and who did it. Don't get me wrong, I want justice for what happened, but I trust your judgment in this matter." The other maiden stated with an honest tone.
"WELL I DON'T!" The first maiden started to yell. "HE SHOULD BE MADE TO PAY. HE ATTACKED US AND THERE IS ONLY ONE PUNISHMENT FOR HIS CRIME." She took in a breath before saying her next words. "He should die in the Cave of Time."
"OUT OF THE QUESTION!" Willa shouted back. "NO ONE HAS EVER USED THE CAVE OF TIME AS A PUNISHMENT!"
"THEN IT IS TIME THAT WE DO!"
"NO! HE IS OUR FRIEND AND A MEMBER OF THE THUNDERCAT FAMILY! I CAN'T IN GOOD CONSCIOUS ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE!'
"THEN I AM HEARBY CHALLENGING YOU FOR LEADERSHIP OF THE WARRIOR MAIDENS!" The Maiden yelled with authority in her tone.
"Out of the question." Leia started to say in defense of her mother. "Willa does not have to fight for her right to lead us. She has done well for many years and will continue to lead us a lot longer. How dare you challenge her for making a noble decision." Leia started to say until Willa raised her right hand for Leia to stop speaking.
"That is quite enough Leia." Willa stated as Leia stopped defending her mother. "I understand your frustration in this matter but we can't-" Willa started to say until someone interrupted her.
"WILLA, LEIA, EVERYONE COME QUICKLY! THE TREES ARE ON FIRE AGAIN!" A Maiden in a brown outfit started to yell as she entered the main hut.
"That's' impossible." The first Maiden started to say with determination in her tone. "My sister and I made sure we covered the bark of the burned trees to prevent that from happening."
"Something else must have happened." Willa stated as she started approach the Maiden who entered the main hut. "Leia, I want you and the other two Maidens to come with me at once. Everyone else form a fire brigade and get those flames under control."
"RIGHT!" The Maidens all yelled at once.
"After ward we are going to continue our discussion from before." Willa stated at the Maiden who made her challenge as they all headed towards the Elevator to the ground level.
As Willa and the other Maidens started to descend towards the base of their homes, Captain Pollution was waiting behind some bushes for his moment to attack the unsuspecting targets.
"That's it my pretties, come into my trap." Pollution thought to himself as all of the maidens exited the elevator.
"QUICKLY, LET'S GET SOME DIRT ON THOSE FIRES OVER THERE!" Willa shouted as she and the other Maidens started to throw some loose dirt onto the fires.
"IT'S NOT ENOUGH WILLA!" Leia started to shout back. "WE NEED WATER TO PUT THESE FLAMES OUT!"
"HOPEFULLY WE SHOULD HAVE SOME WATER SHORTLY!" Willa replied as another elevator started to descend with more Maidens carrying buckets of water.
"WE'RE HERE WILLA!" One of the Maidens shouted.
"QUICKLY, SPREAD OUT THE WATER ON THE FLAMES AND KEEP THROWING DIRT ON THE FLAMES AS WELL!" Willa shouted as the women started to get off of the elevator and started to pass out buckets filled with water.
As Willa and the other Maidens continued to try and control the flames, Captain Pollution was just now rising out from his hiding place with both of his red gloved hands aimed at the females. As soon as he was ready we would strike them all down in one shot, but then he thought about what Mumm-Ra said back inside his Pyramid.
"Pollution, when you attack the Warrior Maidens, leave them all alive. I want you to capture the Thundercats at any cost except causing potential slaves to be killed in the process. Ha ha ha ha ha. I will need them to help build a statue in my honor for riding this world of the Thundercat threat once and for all."
"As you wish Mumm-Ra." Pollution replied before he left on his mission.
As Pollution was remembering his conversation, Willa and the others finally was able to get the flames under control to the point of a very small spark. A moment after seeing what Willa and the others have done, Pollution started to emerge from his hiding spot to confront the Warrior Maidens.
"Well now, what do we have here." Pollution stated while getting the attention of the Warrior Maidens.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Willa stated as the other Maidens started to grab their weapons to confront the intruder.
"Now now my dear, there is no need for weapons. I am just your friendly tax collector and it is time to pay up."
"What taxes?"
"Your lives for serving Mumm-Ra once again." Pollution replied as he started to fire beams of red energy at the Maiden and her sisters.
"EVERYONE LOOK OUT!" Willa yelled as the beams started to get closer to all of the Warrior Maidens.
As soon as everyone heard Willa's warning, all of the Maiden started to evade the red beams of energy from Pollution. As they continued to evade the beams, they also started to impact the trees around the area, causing multiple fires to emerge and burn their homes.
"Now look at what you made me do dudette." Pollution stated with a evil grin on his face. "Are you gonna allow me to continue to destroy your homes or are you gonna pledge yourselves to serve Mumm-Ra once again?"
"WE WILL NEVER SERVE THAT MUMMY!" One of the Maidens yelled.
"WE WOULD RATHER DIE!" another Maiden yelled.
"Have it your way." Pollution replied as he started to aim his hands again at the Maidens. "I did promise Mumm-Ra that I wouldn't kill any of you, but I guess he wouldn't mind if I just killed a few instead." He added as he started to shift his attention towards Willa. "I think I'll start with you girl." He finished as he was about ready to fire.
As Pollution was getting to fire, some of the Maidens started to see a strange shape coming from the clouds. As they continued to look on, Pollution started to notice that they were all looking at something in the sky.
"What do you think you are looking at?" Pollution stated as he started to see the object getting closer to the group.
As they all continued to look on, the object started to become much larger and a shape was beginning to form. As the shape continued to form, Pollution started to have a look of concern as the Maidens all started to look relieved, as if their prayers have been answered. As Pollution continued to look on, he then started to notice beams of blue energy coming from the object and heading straight towards him. A moment before the beams impacted, Pollution was able to dodge the beam while trying to return fire with his own energy beams.
As Pollution was about ready to fire his own energy beams on the object, he started to notice a new colored beam of green energy coming from the object and impacting the ground causing the Earth itself to shake. As Pollution started to try to keep his balance the object finally came close enough to be identified. It was the Thundercat's Thunderstrike vehicle being piloted by Cheetara with Bengali and Kwami in the co-cockpits.
As the Thunderstrike finished it's landing procedure, Pollution had finally regained his balance as the Warrior Maidens started to surround Pollution. At the same time, Kwami, Cheetara and Bengali had finally exited the Thunderstrike and started to join the others.
"Don't move invader." Willa stated as all of her Maidens aimed their spears at Pollution.
"Oh babe." Pollution started to say with a grin across his brownish face. "You don't know me at all." He added as he started to get back to his feet.
"WILLA LOOK OUT!" Kwami started to yell. "THAT'S CAPTAIN POLLUTION! THE EVIL COUNTERPART OF CAPTAIN PLANET!"
"You are correct Eco-Brat." Pollution replied as he started to emit heat from his entire body and focused it towards the weapons being held by the female warriors.
As Pollution continued to generate and focus his heat, the weapons being held by the warrior started to become quite hot. As the weapons continued to heat up, the metal tips started to turn red as all of the maidens dropped their weapons before they all started to combust into flames.
"Awe, no weapons to defend yourselves. What a perfect situation for me." Pollution stated as he started to get ready to strike.
"No you don't Pollution." Cheetara stated as she, Nayda and Kwami readied themselves for battle.
"Don't you know that you can't defeat me Thundercats. I am invincible."
"You forget one thing Pollution." Kwami stated with pride in his tone.
"And what might that be Eco-Geek?"
"You do have a weakness and it is one that we know about." Kwami replied as he started to turn towards the Warrior Maidens behind Pollution. "QUICK WILLA, HAVE YOUR PEOPLE THROW ANY PURE WATER AT HIM! IT WILL WEAKEN HIM!"
"Are you sure about that?" Pollution replied with a wicked grin on his face.
"Maidens, do what Kwami asked and throw every bit of Water we have at the invader." Willa commanded as the Maidens were able to get their buckets of water from tending the flames and try to douse Pollution with them.
As the Maiden started to throw their buckets of water at Pollution, the evil counterpart of Captain Planet started to increase his heat and create some sort of barrier that evaporated the water as it started to impact. As the last of the water suddenly became vapors, Pollution started to show a grin of victory after protecting himself from getting weaker.
"Anything else you want to try before I reduce your homes to ash ladies?" Pollution stated as he started to raise his left arm and hand at the Maidens main tree.
"Kwami, what is going on here?" Nayda stated with a worried tone. "I thought you said that water would weaken him."
"It should have." Kwami started to say after seeing what happened with the water and the Maiden's weapons. "Obviously something has happened to Pollution that allowed him to repel the attack."
"You are so correct dude." Pollution replied while still keeping his left arm and hand ready to strike. "You can thank your friend Mumm-Ra for my recent power up. He gave me an energy infusion that allows me to repel any attack from pure elements, making me completely invincible."
"No one is invincible Pollution." Cheetara started to say as she was ready to strike with her Bow Staff. "Mumm-Ra's power always wears off after a short time. And we are going to defend our friends until that happens." The female Cheetah stated as she started to strike her staff at the ground to launch an attack of her own.
As the female Cheetah Thundercat struck her bow staff at the ground, a orange energy bolt started to head from the point of impact and straight towards Pollution's location. As the energy beam started to continue on it's course, it started to rise off the floor and into the air. A moment later it started to impact on Pollution's Left hand while still aiming at the Warrior Maidens's main tree.
"Is this supposed to hurt me Thundercat?" Pollution stated with a vile look of glee on his face. "I'm made of pure dark energy. I can take your attack and re-direct it back to you like so." He added as he started to turn his body around and fired the orange energy beam back at Cheetara.
"CHEETARA WATCH OUT!" Kwami yelled as the energy beam started to strike Cheetara's Bow Staff.
As the beam of re-directed energy started to impact Cheetara's Bow Staff, the female Thundercat also started to feel the shock as the beam started to blast Cheetara back into a tree, causing her to black out on impact.
"CHEETARA!" Kwami and Nayda yelled as Pollution started to turn his attention to them as well.
"Worry about yourselves Eco-Geek." Pollution stated as he got in a sneaky shot while both Kwami and Nayda were distracted.
"Kwami!" Nayda yelled as she started to see Kwami go down to the ground hard.
"Don't waste you time about that Eco-Geek. Worry about your homes." Pollution started to say as he approached both Kwami and Cheetara. "Now if you will excuse me, I have to return with my trophies."
"GET AWAY FROM THEM!" Nayda yelled as she tried to stop Pollution.
"Get lost you ridiculous excuse for a fashion model." Pollution replied as he shoved Nayda away with his left arm just as the Warrior Maiden was just about to strike.
"NAYDA!" Willa yelled after seeing what Pollution had done to her sister. "You will pay for this, mark my words."
"Sorry dudette, no more time to play around." He added as he started to lift both Kwami and Cheetara up and place both of them on his red shoulder pads. A moment later he started to look at the sky. "MUMM-RA!" He started to yell. "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, READY TO RETURN!" He added as he started to disappear with both of his prisoners.
As Pollution started to vaporize while holding onto his prisoners, Nayda started to fall down to her knees and started to cry.
"NO! KWAMI!" Nayda screamed while still in tears.
After seeing what has happened to their friends, Willa started to head towards Nayda to try and comfort her while seeing how upset she had become.
"Nayda?" Willa started to say. "Are you alright?" She added as she started to go down on her knees to wrap Nayda in a embracing hug.
"Willa." Nayda stated while still crying. "What is happening to me? Why do I feel like my heart is breaking apart?"
"You are in love Nayda, but we can't worry about that now." Willa stated while helping Nayda get back to he feet. "We have to repair all of the damage that Pollution did to our homes and you need some medical attention as well." Willa added while seeing the bruise on Nayda's left face cheek.
"What about Kwami and Cheetara? We have to do something?"
"And we will but first we must attend to everyone who is injured , then we will go and rescue our friends. I promise."
"Alright and thank you Willa."
"You are my sister in the tribe and I sometimes feel that you are my sister outside the tribe as well. For know let's get you patched up and tend to everyone."
"Alright." Nayda replied as Willa and the other Maidens started to take care of the wounded and come up with a plan to rescue their friends.
As the attack on the Warrior Maidens had begun by Pollution a similar attack was about to begin at the Berbil Village by Zarm.
As Zarm started to materialize about a few feet away from the Berbil Village, the former Spirit of the Earth decided not to arouse any suspicion about his appearance. After a moment to think about what form to take, Zarm started to surround his body in a red light as his form started to change.
As the red light started to shrink, Zarm's new form started to emerge. This form was a combination of both Wolo and Bulkin species. Zarm started to think that no one would ever question a outcast from both villages, looking for a place to stay and a hot meal. A moment later the new and improved Zarm started to approach the Berbil village. As he started to get closer, two of the robotic bears noticed and went towards to greet their guest.
"Who are you?" One Berbil stated in his Robotic voice.
"Just a traveling outcast looking for a place to stay for the night." Zarm stated while in his disguise.
"Can you please follow us. We must introduce to Ro-ber-bill. He his our head Berbil." The other Berbil replied.
"Lead the way." Zarm replied in his disguise.
As they all started to enter the village Zarm started to see what looked like hundreds of Berbils all wearing the same light-brownish fur on their heads to their feet. A few minutes later the small group finally approached the leader of the Berbils Ro-Ber-Bill.
"Ro-Ber-Bill." One of the two Berbils started to say. "We found this stranger outside near our fields."
"He said he is an outcast and is looking for a meal and a place to stay for the night." The other Berbil added.
"Why have you come to our land?" Ro-Ber-Bill asked while trying to be kind.
"I am only a simple traveler and outcast from both the Bulkins and the Wolos. All I ask is a place to stay for a night and some food to eat. I can earn it anyway that I can."
"I believe we can help you with a place to stay and some food to eat." Ro-Ber-Bill replied in his most honest tone.
"Thank you." Zarm replied in his most honest and evil tone.
"But before we can make you something to eat, we need to harvest our crops for inventory." Ro-Ber-Bill started to say in his most honest mechanical voice. "Would you be willing to help us?"
"Of course. I would be honored to let a helping hand." Zarm stated while concealing his glowing red eyes.
"This way." Ro-Ber-Bill added as he started to escort Zarm to the Berbil's food fields.
As Zarm started to follow the Berbil leader, the former Spirit of the Earth was in awe while seeing the buildings that were build by the tiny robotic bears. As the continued to move through the village, Ro-Ber-Bill lead Zarm towards their storage barn on the way to the fields.
As the small group left the storage bin behind them, they soon arrived at their destination. As Zarm looked on, he started to see dozens and dozens of Berbils tending to the different small trees of Berbil food trees. While he started to look in awe, he almost didn't notice another Berbil coming towards the group, but this Berbil had red fur on her body.
As the red fur Berbil approached the group, it started to speak in a much different tone than the others.
"Ro-Ber-Bill, who is out guest?" The red fur Berbil asked in a female tone.
"Ro-Ber-Bell this is." Ro-Ber-Bill paused for a moment. "I'm sorry I don't know your name."
"That is because I don't like to pronounce it. It sometimes make people laugh at me. Just call me Traveler, after all that is what I do."
"Traveler, that is a nice name." Ro-Ber-Bell replied as she started to extend her robotic fur hand to shake Zarm's.
"Ro-Ber-Bell, can you show Traveler to the fields. We would like him to help us harvest our crops for today." Ro-Ber-Bill asked in his most polite tone.
"Of course." Ro-Ber-Bell replied as she started tro take Traveler to their fields to get started.
As Zarm started to enter the fields, he started to see miles and miles of trees with food on them and a surprise, Candy fruit on a couple of trees.
"Is that candy growing from some of your trees?" Zarm asked while still in disguise.
"Yes. It is our most favorite crop of food. The Thundercats also likes them. Snarf always comes here once a week or later on to stock up on supplies for their home."
"I see." Zarm replied as his eyes started to glow red. "Thanks for the info my robotic little brat, but I'm afraid that no Thundercat will ever be getting any food from you and your stupid friends ever again." Zarm stated as he started to transform back into his true form.
"Who are you and what do you think you are doing?" Ro-Ber-Bell asked while seeing Zarm transform himself back into his true form.
"Me?" Zarm stated while aiming his right and left hands towards the fields of food that the Berbils were tending to. "Just doing a little fumigating." He added as he started to fire red energy beams at the Berbil's trees.
Within moments of his red energy beams coming from his hands, the Berbil's fruit fields started to combust into flames. As the flames started to increase, the small robotic Bears started to do their best to counteract the flames and save their food supplies.
"STOP THIS! YOUR KILLING US BY DOING THIS!" Ro-Ber-Bill yelled as the flames continued to ignite from Zarm's red energy beams.
"No my little robotic fool." Zarm started to reply with a grin of evil on his face. "I will not stop until every last bit of grass and dirt is utterly destroyed." Zarm added as he continued to set fire to everything within the Berbils's fields.
"Berbils, we must try to contain the flames until help arrives." Ro-Ber-Bill stated as the rest of the Berbils started to try and put out the flames.
As Zarm continued to set fires to the Bewrbils fields, the Robotic small bears started to try their best to contain and put out the flames. As they continued Zarm started to notice and re-ignited the areas where the small bears were finished causing much panic and more flames to put out. Just as the last of the fields were set on fire, a blue energy beam and what looked like mini marbles started to strike the flames from the right side of Zarm.
As the former Spirit of the Earth continued to look on, a bolo whip started to emerge from behind him and started to extinguish the flames faster than Zarm could start them. After a moment Zarm started to turn to his right to see three strangers standing right in front of him, These three strangers were wearing Thundarian clothing and all have the Thundercat Symbol on the clothing.
"Well well, what do we have here." Zarm stated while showing an evil grin on his face. "Let me see now, two cat like people with a strange symbol on their clothing…. You must be Thundercats." He stated as he started to see a familiar face as well. "Well Ma-Ti it is good to see you again"
"That's right we are and you age going to pay for what you have done here." Tygra stated in an angered tone after seeing the destruction of the Berbil's fields.
"Ma-Ti, do you know this person?" Lynx-O asked after hearing Zarm's words towards the Planeteer.
"His name is Zarm and was a Spirit of the Earth just like Gaia. Be careful, he is more powerful than anyone you have faced before." Ma-Ti replied in a worried tone.
"You should listen to your Planeteer friend there. He knows from experience, and once I am done, I will take your ring once again Ma-Ti." Zarm replied with a grin on his face.
"You really think that you have a chance of defeating us?" Tygra stated while himself and Lynx-O got their weapons ready for action.
"Oh please, you almost sound like you are gonna win." Zarm started to say with a grin on his face. "Oh wait, you won't." He added as he started to get ready to fire his energy beams .
"You can't win Zarm." The blind Thundercat started to say. "We have always managed to defeat anyone who works for Mumm-Ra."
"Normally yes, but this time the plan was not created by that mummy." Zarm replied as he took in a short breath before continuing. "The plan was created by your former Planeteer friend, Wheeler."
"YOU LIE!" Ma-Ti shouted after hearing those words. "WHEELER WOULD NEVER HURT HIS FRIENDS!"
"Oh my poor diluted friend, he would with a little help from Mumm-Ra."
"Mumm-Ra." Tygra started to say after that as well.
"Yes. Wheeler is an excellent guinea pig for his plans of destruction. Right now he is on New Thundera and is destroying your home as we speak."
"Lion-O, Panthro, Gi and Linka will stop him." Ma-Ti started to say with determination in his voice. "They will stop him."
"Not without killing him. He doesn't remember anything except what Mumm-Ra had showed him. Poor little Thundercats and my old friend Ma-Ti. Getting ready to be orphans again and then to be conquered by my mighty hands once more."
"That will never happen Zarm."
"Well then I guess we should get started then." Zarm started as he then raised both his arms and started to fire red energy beams from both of his hands at both the Thundercats and Ma-Ti.
As soon as the red energy beams started to emerge from Zarm's hands, both Tygra and Lynx-O started to evade the beams thanks to their cat-like reflexes. As for Ma-Ti, he also tried his best to avoid the energy beams. All of the time that the Planeteers started to train sure has come in handy as the littlest Planeteer also evaded the energy beams from Zarm.
"Stand and fight me you miserable Thundercats." Zarm stated while still trying to hit both Tygra and Lynx-O with his energy beams.
"Maybe you should try them on for size yourself Zarm." Lynx-O stated as he started to aim his reflection mirror towards Zarm.
"And what is that gonna do to me? Show me my reflection?" Zarm boasted as he started to fire a concentrated energy beam at Lynx-O.
"Have a taste of your own energy beams Zarm." Lynx-O replied as he started to re-direct the energy beam hitting his mirror.
As the beam of energy started to strike his mirror, Lynx-O was able to reflect the beams back towards Zarm. After a few seconds, Zarm was then struck by his own energy beams but a bit more powerful than before.
"What…. What did you do to my energy beams?" Zarm stated as he started to feel weak from the impact of his own weapon.
"I just re-directed them back to you, but you should also know that anything that is reflected is more powerful than before." Lynx-O boasted as Tygra and Ma-Ti started to join him.
"Lynx-O, be careful." Ma-Ti started to say in his most worried tone. "Zarm is a master of deception and manipulation. He may be down but he is still dangerous.
"How right you are my stupid little Planet pest." Zarm started to think inside his head. "Come closer to me my little fools and then it will all be over."
As Tygra and Lynx-O started to get close to Zarm, something inside Ma-Ti started tro go off like a warning signal. After a few seconds the South American Planeteer started to act on his feelings.
"Tygra, Lynx-O wait a moment. Something is very wrong here." Ma-Ti stated with a worried look on his face.
"Are you sure about that Ma-Ti?" Tygra asked while still approaching Zarm.
"Tygra, we should not be so hasty to dismiss Ma-Ti's warning." Lynx-O replied as they were both about a foot in front of Zarm.
"All right Zarm, up on your feet, nice and slow." Tygra stated as he started to get his Bolo Whip ready for anything.
"You know you really should listen to the Eco-Geek's warning." Zarm started to say as he started to close his eyes. "NOW PAY THE PRICE FOR YOUR FOOLISHNESS!" He yelled as a burst of energy came from outside his body in a circular pattern.
"TYGRA, LYNX-O, WATCH OUT!" Ma-Ti yelled just as the energy wave started to impact both the Thundercats.
As soon as the energy wave started to emerge from Zarm's body, both Tygra and Lynx-O were struck with smo uch force that they both lost consciousness as soon as they both hit the ground. A moment later the energy wave also struck Ma-Ti , causing his to fall to the ground and get knocked out.
"All too easy. And I thought that these Thundercats were tough. What a grave disappointment." Zarm stated as he started to gather the fallen warriors and the Planeteer. A moment later he started to yell to the sky above him. "MUMM-RA!" Zarm started to shout. "MISSION COMPLETED, READY TO COME HOME!" He added.
After Zarm's message to the sky, both himself and the fallen Thundercats and Planeteer started to de-materialized right in front of the Berbils and what was left burning ruin of their fields.
"Ro-Ber-Bill, what do we do now?" Ro-Ber-Bell asked with a saddened tone in her robotic voice.
"I don't know Ro-Ber-Bell but we have to get these fires under control before everything is lost. Once that is done then we can head towards the Cat's Lair and hopefully tell the others what happened here." Ro-Ber-Bill replied in his most robotic determined tone.
A moment after Ro-Ber-Bill's statement, all the Berbils started to work on putting out the fires as well as trying to make sure that their fields were still O.K. to plant crops again. As the Berbils continued their work, something inside Ro-Ber-Bill was telling him that what happened to their crops was only the first step in something much bigger.
As the attacks on both the Warrior Maidens and the Berbils was going into full swing, the Wolos, have just finished cleaning up all of the damage from the last attack when Sludge started to cause fires all across their homes. Durning the attack, Gi was able to use her water power to put out the fires, but they still had a lot of water and smoke damage to clean up.
As the small group of Wolos were finally finished with re-supplying their fountain with water, their leader and friend started to join them to make sure that everything was running perfectly.
"How's the job coming along?" Gregory asked the small group of Wolos by the fountain.
"Almost done Gregory." One of the Wolos started to say. "That Sludge person sure did a number here."
"Yes but don't forget that we had help to put out all of the fires."
"Yes we did." Another Wolo started to say. "I'm just sorry that I was tricked into believing that Gi was our enemy and not a friend of the Thundercats." Another Wolo stated while showing sadness in his tone.
"It is alright my friend. No one was harmed and besides, it was quite a show that Gi gave us when she put out all of the fires at once."
"Yes it was, but it also ruined our fountain." The first Wolo stated.
"The fountain can be re-built, but we can't re-build a life." Another Wolo stated while finishing on the bricks for the fountain.
"You're right about that. I'm am just so glad that no one was hurt, and Gi I wish that I-." The first Wolo started to say until Gregory cut him off in mid sentence.
"She know that it was not your fault. She already accepted your apology from before." Gregory stated with a honest tone in his voice.
"Thanks Gregory." The Wolo replied as he finally placed down the last brick for their fountain.
"Do you think that the Thundercats and Gi will like this fountain. We wanted to thank them for everything that they have done for us over the years." The Wolo stated as they all looked up at the statues on top of the fountain.
The Wolo's fountain, after it was destroyed when Gi used her water power to save their homes has finally beenm rebuilt to honor their heroes and their friends. The statue on top of the fountain has all 10 members of the Thundercats plus one special and newest statue to honor the Water Planeteer who saved their village not so long ago. All of the statues are carved out of the same marble stones that the Wolos have used to re-build their fountain, but they also tried to make them life-like to remember their friends.
As the Wolos were still admiring their handiwork, Gregory gave the signal to restart to water flow from their river into their new fountain.
As the water started to flow into the fountain, streams of water started to emerge from small holes in the second layer right below the Statues. A moment later the bottom of the fountain started to fill up. After a moment more all of the Wolos started to cheer and applause themselves for a job well done.
While the Wolos were celebrating their accomplishment, Driller has just finished emerging from the deep Earth after planting some explosives that he had obtained a few years earlier. Driller had placed the explosives near the top of the mountain, right in the path of the Wolos village, hoping for maximum damage. After he had finished emerging and admiring his handiwork, the damean of the deep Earth started to once again burrow back into the ground .
As the Wolos finished their celebration, they were all distracted by the sound of someone drilling underneath their feet.
"Gregory, what is that noise?" One of the Wolos said while still listening to the sound.
"I have no idea." Gregory replied while feeling a little puzzled himself.
"It sounds like one of the drills we used to carve the marble statues." Another Wolo started to say.
"Are all of the tools accounted for?" Gregory asked while starting to have a bad feeling.
"I've checked and double checked before everything was put away. All of the tools are accounted for." The second Wolo stated in pride in his tone.
"Then where is this noise coming from?" The first Wolo stated as the ground started to shake.
Suddenly a giant hole started to emerge in the center of town, very close to their new fountain. As the hole completely formed, both Gregory and the other Wolos started to see something very strange coming out of the ground. As they continue to look on they all started to see some kind of diamond emerging out of the ground followed by a metallic face and metallic body. As the intruder continued to emerge, all of the Wolos started to back up so not to be injured in any way.
"Who are you and what do you want here?" Gregory asked as he started to approach the strange metallic person.
"I am Driller and I have come with a message from my master Mumm-Ra." Driller stated in his most intimidating tone.
"We don't want to hear any message from Mumm-Ra. Just go away and leave us alone."
"My master's message will be heard or I will destroy your homes."
"You must be crazy if you think that we are gonna listen to anything that mummy has to say." Another Wolo started to say in an angered tone.
"You will listen or you will die." Driller replied in a much more angered tone.
"Alright everyone, just calm down." Gregory stated while trying to preserve the peace. "Now please tell us your message and be gone from here."
"Gregory you can't be serious." The Wolo stated while still feeling angry.
"Better to hear the message then to have others hurt my young friend." Gregory replied as Driller started to relay Mumm-Ra's message.
"To my loyal servents, I Mumm-Ra, the Ever Living Source of Evil will forgive all past transgressions if you vow to serve me once again for all eternity. If not then I will destroy your homes and take your lives." Driller stated word for word.
"Tell you master that we would rather die then obey his rule again." One of the Wolos spoke.
"I'm incline to agree." Gregory started to say. "We are not afraid of Mumm-Ra any more and besides that, the Thundercats are here to help us."
"Your faith in your friends will be your undoing." Driller replied as he started to pull out some kind of remote control.
"This device is set to set off some bombs that I have placed around the rock structure surrounding your homes. Either you do what I say or they will be detonated." Drill stated in his calm and truthful tone.
"You're bluffing." One Wolo started to say. "You are bluffing."
"Very well then." Driller replied as he started to flick a switch on the device. "Then a demonstration is in order." He added as he flicked another switch on the device.
As soon as Driller was finished using the remote a sound and flash of explosion started to appear at the far section of town. This explosion was near a section that was going to be re-built after all of the fire damage was completely removed from the site. After a moment a large piece of the rock wall started to come down and impacted some of the abandoned homes near the fire damage. After a moment Gregory and the Wolos started to look at Driller with anger in their eyes.
"HOW DARE YOU!" Gregory yelled in anger. "You had no right to do that." He added in a calmer tone.
"I have every right to do so. Now pledge your allegiance to Mumm-Ra or watch you entire village destroyed." Driller replied as he started to flick more switches on his remote.
"We will never pledge our loyalties to that over grown excuse for a mummy." One of the Wolos stated.
"My friend is correct." Gregory stated while looking Driller right in his solid green eyes. "You may destroy our homes but we will survive."
"As you wish Wolo." Driller stated as he was about to flick the main switch on the controller and set of all of the explosives.
As Drller was about to detonate the remaining explosives that he had placed, a blue energy beam started to stike the device and made it explode into tiny pieces. After the device had exploded, Driller and the Wolos started to shift their eyes towards the location of the energy blast. As the group turned around, they all saw two Thunderian Warriors with their weapons drawn and ready to strike. After a moment one of the warriors started to speak at Driller.
"I think that you have caused enough trouble for today Driller." The Light blue Thundercat stated.
"I agree." The brown haired female Thundercat started to say. "Leave our friends alone Driller."
After both of their statements, Driller started to turn his attention towards the broken device, now in pieces on the ground.
"You Thundercats are so predictable. He knew that you would come to save your friends and leave yourselves vulnerable in the process." Driller stated while not showing any emotion at all.
"Who said?" The Female warrior replied.
"I believe his name is Wheeler and he is working for Mumm-Ra."
"WHAT?!" The female warrior replied. "YOU LIE!" She added as she started to get mad.
"Pumyra, don't let your emotions get the better of you. You have to calm down." The light blue Thundercat stated while trying to calm down his fellow Thundercat.
"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN BENGALI!" Pumyra yelled back. "WE BOTH KNOW THAT WHEELER WOULD NEVER WORK FOR MUMM-RA!"
"That's right Pumnyra, he wouldn't but if Mumm-Ra has him under some kind of spell."
"You're right Bengali." Pumyra started to say in a much more calmer tone.
"Now Driller tell us what you are doing here and what you think you are doing to our friends." Bengaliu stated as he and Pumyra shifted their attention to the man made of metal.
"I came to deliver a message to the Wolos and awaited their response. Now I will have to deal with you as well as them." Driller stated as he started to show another control device. "This should hold you for a moment or two." He added as Driller started to press a few buttons on his device.
As soon as Driller was finished pressing a few buttons, some sort of energy beam started to emit from the device and then started to strike both Bengali and Pumyra. As the energy beam continued to strike them the color started to change into a darkened orange color.
"What is happening to us Bengali?" Pumyra stated while starting to feel a little strange.
"I'm not sure Pumyra. It feels like my strength is leaving my body." Bengali replied as they both continued to get weaker.
As both of the Thundercats continued to get weaker, Driller started to move towards them while still showing no emotion on his face.
"I have to admit, this device that I acquired from the Mutants years ago sure does come in handy." Driller stated as both Bengali and Pumyra started to hit the floor while still encased inside the energy beam.
"Mutants….. That explains everything…." Pumnyra stated while getting weaker. "It must be a Thundrainium ray Bengali. We have to do something before we are too weak to move." Pumyra stated while trying to resist the beam's effect on both of them.
"If I can get a lucky shot with my hammer." Bengali started top say while trying to muster enough strengh to aim his hammer at Driller's device. "I think I should be able to knock it out."
While Bengali and Pumyra were having their discussion, Driller started to figure out that something wasn't right and that he should remedy the situation.
"I don't know what you two are up to, but it shall end right now." Driller stated as he started to turn a knob on the device.
As Driller turned the knob on his device, the intensity of the energy beam, started to become much more powerful. As the increased power started to show, both Pumyra and Bengali started to become weaker at an accelerated rate. At this rate both of the Thundercats will be unable to move and pass out completely in under ten minutes.
"That's better." Driller stated while seeing his prey much weaker.
"Bengali…..Can you…..get a….. shot out…. From your….hammer?" Pumyra stated while started to feel tired and wanting to sleep.
"Just another….. Moment…. and I should…have it." Bengali replied as he finally stirred up enough strength to aim his hammer and fire an energy beam at Driller's device.
As Bengali was finally able to fire a beam of blue energy towards Driller's device, thanks to the Thundrainium being at a higher power setting, Bengali's energy beam started to become weaker and then evaporate into nothing. After the beam of energy was gone, both Bengali and Pumyra finally passed out from their experience with the Thundrainium. After a moment more, Driller started to put his device away and started to grab both of the fallen warriors.
"Now you see that you have no choice but to submit to my master." Driller stated while holding both Bengali and Pumyra in his arms. "I shall take these two back to my master while the rest of you decide on your next move. Be enemies of Mumm-Ra or submit to his rule. The choice is yours." Driller added as he started to return into the earth with both of his captives.
As the Driller started to return into the Earth with his two captives, the hole started to fill back up again, leaving no trace at all. After a moment Gregory and some of his Wolos started to have a saddened look on their faces.
"What are we gonna do now Gregory?" One of the Wolos asked with a concerned look on his face.
"I don't know. I just don't know." Gregory replied while shaking his head left and right.
As the attacks on the other allies of the Thundercats started to go into full swing, deep within the forest, near a large group of Unicorns, stood two elderly people holding wooden rods. These two elderly people are wearing a white type of clothing similar to cloaks worn by people of high standards. These two people also have blue starts on their faces to honor their position. They are called the Unicorn keepers and their sole duty is to protect all Unicorns from anyone who would due them harm.
Both of the Unicorn keepers first met the Thundercats when Lion-O rescued one of the Unicorn's from a creeping tree that was trying to eat it. As a reward for saving it's life, the Unicorn gave Lion-O a special ring to wear to protect him from harm. Afterwards, the Lord of the Thundercats returned the ring after saving the baby Unicorn that was captured by Hammerhand and his Berserkers years ago. The ring had never been seen again until Wheeler received the ring from the same Unicorn.
"Is something on your mind dear?" The elder man started to say. "You look lost in thought."
"Nothing to be concerned about my dear." The elderly woman replied. "Just wondering how our new friend is doing these days. I know that our Unicorn friend gave him his ring for protection, but we haven't seen or heard from him in a while."
"I know, but we just need to take things as they come." The elderly man stated as he started to sit down on the grassy ground. "Now please sit down and rest. It will do us no good if we both pass out from exhaustion. Remember we are not as young as we used to be."
"I guess your right." The elderly woman replied as she started to sit on the grassy ground as well. "I guess these old bones can use a little time out."
"Now please tell me what is really on your mind. I know you well enough now to know when you aren't telling me everything."
"I never could keep anything from you could I? I'm just worried that something terrible has happened to our young friend. I know I shouldn't be worried but I-"
Before the Elderly Unicorn keeper could complete her statement, the Unicorn who gave Wheeler it's ring started to sit on the ground next to the keepers. A moment later the other Unicorns started to join them as well.
"It looks like our Unicorn friends want to comfort us. I think that they can sense how worried we both are and more worried from you my dear."
"My dear Unicorns." The elderly woman started to say as she placed her right hand on top of the first Unicorn that sat beside them. "I appreciate that you all are worried about our health and well being, but don't be. We both will be around for a long time to take care of you and that is a promise."
"I think that our Unicorn friend is also worried about our new friend as well."
"I believe that you are right, but there is nothing we can do about that for now. Just hope that the Thundercats and the rest of his friends can save him from Mumm-Ra's clutches."
"On that we both agree."
As the Unicorn keepers were continuing to have their little discussion, deep with the farthest part of the forest, a group of men in pirate clothing started to make their way towards the Unicorns and their keepers. As they continued to get closer, their leader started to speak.
"Now listen here my Berserkers." Their leader started to say. "We have only one objective to do, capture the Unicorns and if the Thundercats try to stop us, capture them."
"Captain." One of the men started to speak. "Are you sure about this? I mean do you think that Mumm-Ra will honor his word?"
"Quiet Crusher." Hammerhand started to say in a low tone. "If that mummy fails to honor his payment to us, then he will pay the ultimate price."
"Good, good." Another member of his crew started to say. "I want to put that black haired wench to work after what she put us through."
"Calm down Top-Spinner, I also want to have my revenge on that red haired person for what he did to my fist. I had to use almost all of our ill gotten gold to have it repaired and re-built."
"But we were able to get the gold back after he finished your new hand and arm." Cruncher stated while the others started to snicker.
"Aye Cruncher. You did a good job, now get ready everyone, it is time to get what we came for." Hammerhand stated as he and his pirate party started to get ready to strike.
As Hammerhand and his troops were getting to strike, both of the Unicorn keepers started to get themselves off of the grassy ground as well as to make sure that their animal friends were doing the same thing.
"Come along my friends, break time is over." The elderly male keeper started to say. "We all still need our exercise."
"You know that there is such a thing as too much work dear." The elderly female keeper replied.
"I know my dear but-" The Unicorn keeper started to say until her started to see something wrong with the Unicorns.
"What is it?" The elderly woman asked with much concern.
"I don't know. But maybe our animal friends do."
Suddenly without warning Hammerhand and his Berserkers started to jump out from their hiding place near the farest section of the clearing. As they all finally emerged from their hiding spot, their leader started to speak.
"GET THEM! GET THE UNI-CORNS! ALL OF THE UNI-CORNS!" Hammerhand shouted as the berserkers started to try and capture the animals.
"No. Leave these poor creatures alone." The elderly woman stated while trying to protect her flock of friends.
"Out of the way lady. "Cruncher started to say while looking very mean. "These Unicorns now belong to the Berserkers." He added until he started to feel something hit his helmet.
"You overgrown brute. How dare you try and attack my mate." the elderly man stated after hitting Crusher on the head with his staff.
"Was that supposed to hurt me old man." Cruncher styated while turning around and grabbing the elderly man's clothing. "You are no threat to us so why don't you and your old maid here run away."
"OLD MAID!" The elderly woman replied as she struck Cruncher's right underside knee with her staff.
"You're getting me mad woman." Cruncher replied.
"CRUNCHER, STOP PLAYING AROUND WITH THOSE TWO AND HELP US SECURE ALL OF THESE UNICORNS!" Hammerhand yelled as the others Berserkers started to capture all of the Unicorn's head with rope to prevent them from escaping.
"NO STOP! LEAVE THEM ALONE YOU MONSTERS!" The elderly woman yelled while trying to make the Berserkers listen to reason. "These are the only Unicorns left in the world. Why do you want them?"
"My dear, these beasts will fetch us a high price on the black market as well as people wanting a piece of their horns." Hammerhand stated while looking at one of the horns from one of the grown up Unicorns. "This one will do nicely. I am going to personally cut off his horn an sell it to the highest bidder."
"NO! YOU CAN'T!"
"Oh yes I can and who is going to stop me and my crew." Hammerhand stated until something strange started to happen next.
Within moments of Hammerhand's statement, clouds of red, blue, brown and yellow smoke started to appear around all of the Berserkers as well as Hammerhand. After a moment, while all of the Berserkers were choking on the smoke two small shadows started to move within the smoke and started to free the Unicorns from their ropes. After a moment more the Unicorns were freed and the shadows started to reveal themselves.
As the smoke started to clear, the two shadows started to take full shape as their forms started to emerge from the colored smoke. These two forms were smaller than the other Thundercats as well as wearing utility belts for their assortment of tricks to use against their enemies, They both had long hair, the female's hair was standing up like a statue while the other's hair was parted in the middle. These two warriors were the Thunderkittens Wilykit and her brother Wilykat.
"Thundercats. :cough:" Hammerhand started to say while trying to get the smell of smoke out of his lungs. "You will pay for interfering with our little hunt."
"Picking on elderly people and capturing innocent creatures is not what I call a little hunt." Wilykit stated while getting her lasso rope ready for action.
"Yea. Four against two doesn't seem fair, unless it is four against two in our favor." Wilykat added as he got his own lasso ready as well as a few capsules ready for action.
"BERSERKERS! GET THOSE THUNDERCATS! GET THEM!" Hammerhand yelled as soon as his pirate team finally got their bearings.
"Right captain." Top-Spinner stated as he started to launch the first attack.
As Top-Spinner started to twirl his upper body into a vortex type attack, Wilykat started to throw some of his capsules towards the Berserker. As the capsules started to explode on impact Top-Spinner started to become covered by some kind of fluid. While Top-Spinner continued to twirl around, his increased speed started to cause the fluid to harden. After a while more Top-Spinner what stuck in what looks like some sort of glue.
"That should hold you for a while buddy." Wilykat stated after seeing use capsules in action.
"Nice job Wilykat." Wilykit stated after seeing her brother's work.
"Thanks sis."
While the kittens were busy praising themselves Hammerhand was getting furious.
"TOP-SPINNER YOU FOOL!" Hammerhand yelled in anger. "RAM-BAM, CRUSHER, GET ME THOSE TWO THUNDERKITTENS!"
"RIGHT BOSS!" Both berserkers yelled back as Ram-Bam and Crusher started to approach the kittens.
"Wilykat, let me handle these two. I have just the thing to give them a real fit." Wilykit stated as she started to take out some capsules from her utility belt as well.
"Sure thing sis." Wilykat replied as he started to watch his sister in action.
As Crusher and Ram-Bam started to approach Wilykit, Ram-bam started to hit the dirt so that he can use his motorized wheel to gain an advantage over Crusher. As they both approached the female Thunderkitten, Wilykit started to throw some capsules from her hand to impact on the ground. As the capsules impacted, they started to release a red and blue type fog that started to enevlop both Crush and Ram-Bam.
"What is this, some sort of smoke screen?" Crusher stated while starting to feel very strange.
"Hey, what's going on here." Ram-Bam also started to say as he started to feel strange as well.
After a moment, Ram-Ram started to sneeze uncontrollable while at the same time, Crusher started to scratch different parts of his body.
"What are you idiots doing now?" Hammerhand stated while seeing what his two Berserkers are doing.
"Sorry captain, I can't help it. I have to scratch." Crusher replied.
"Ah-choo. Captain I, ah-choo I can't stop sneezing I ah-choo."
"You both are completely useless." Hammerhand replied as both of the kittens were discussing Wilykit's strategy.
"Nice job sis." Wilykat started to say with pride in his tone. "Now I know what you meant by fit."
"Yea, a sneezing fit and a itching fit." Wilykit replied as she and her brother stared to laugh a little.
While the two Thunderkittens were still laughing, Hammerhand approached the duo with a very mean look on his pirate face.
"Now you will have to face me Thundercats." Hammerhand stated as he started to swing his metal hand and arm towards the Thunderkittens hard.
As Hammerhand started to swing his hand around, both of the kittens with their cat-like agility were able to dodge it with ease. After a moment while Hammerhand started to get his bearings, the Thunderkittens started to twirl the end loop of their lassos. After a moment more the ends of their lassos started to encircle Hammerhand's upper body and then the Thunderkittens pulled hard to secure the leader of the Berserkers.
As the lassos tightened their grip Hammerhand started to feel the pin of both ropes against his skin as well as both of his arms. After a moment of making Hammerhand is secured Wilykit started to speak.
"I do believe that this wraps up the trouble with Hammerhand." Wilykit stated while starting to feel pride in her tone.
"Oh you do." Hammerhand stated with an evil grin on his face. "I'm not the same Hammerhand you're used to fighting Thunderkittens."
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Wilykit asked with a curious tone.
"Yea. How are you gonna get out of our ropes. They're on very tight." Wilykat added as they both started to see something happening to Hammerhand's metal hand.
As both of the kittens continued to watch, Hammerhand's metal fist started to retract back into his in metal arm and out came a new surprise. The new attachment was a very sharp blade, enabling the captain of the Berserkers to break free of his bonds. As he started to move the blade, the lassos holding him started to break from being sliced with only a small amount of pressure.
"You see Thunderkittens." Hammerhand stated as his metal arm started to change once again. "I'm not the same man I once was. Thanks to your red haired friend, I had to have my entire arm re-build with a few extras built in for just such this occasion." He added as his metal blade started to retract and started to emerge some sort of blaster rifle. "Now have a taste of this Thunderkittens." Hammerhand stated as he started to fire a red energy beam at the kittens.
As the red energy beam started to approach the kittens, both of them using their cat-like skills were able to avoid the beam, but then started to feel something strange.
"Wilykit, are you alright?" Wilykat asked while they both started to land on the ground.
"I don't know Wilykat." She started to reply as she and her brother started to gasp for some air. "I feel strange for some reason."
"Same here. I know that beam didn't hit us, but for some reason I feel weaker and a little tired." Wilykat replied as they both started to hear Hammerhand laughing maniacally.
"HA HA HA." Hammerhand started to laugh. "So you are starting to figure out that my new toy is a lot more dangerous than you both think. That is because this upgrade was added specifically for you Thundercats." Hammerhand added as he started to aim his laser rifle adaptor once again at the kittens. "Have another taste of my Thundrainium beam." He added as he started to fire another beam at the kittens.
As soon as Hammerhand started to send another energy beam towards the kittens, Wilykit started to lunge towards her brother causing them both to avoid the beam while starting to roll around the ground. As the two kittens started to get back up, Hammerhand started to have an idea pop in his head.
"You maybe fast enough to avoid my energy beam-" He started to say while shifting his targets. "But lets see if your elderly friends can say the same." Hammerhand stated as he started to fire another energy beam towards the Unicorn Keepers.
"NO! HURRY WILYKIT!" Wilykjat yelled as both kittens started to run as fast as they could to try and save their friends.
As the Unicorn keepers started to see Hammerhand fire his energy beam at them, they tried to move away as fast as they could, but to no avail. Just as the energy beam was about to make contact, something started to deflect and absorb the beam's power. As they both continued to watch, they both saw that Wilykit and Wilykat just managed to maneuver their bodies right in the path at the last minute. As the energy beam started to strike both of them, both kittens started to yell in great pain until they both started to pass out.
A moment later after Hammerhand saw what had happened, Cruncher and Ram-Bam had managed to stop sneezing and started to free Top-Spinner from his glue trap. After a moment more the pirate crew went to see their captain and started to rejoice in what has happened.
"Nice job there Captain." Cruncher stated.
"Yes great job there sir." Ram-Bam added.
"Now that they are out for the count, what do we do with them?" Top-Spinner asked while Hammerhand started to look at his men.
"Well what do you think you should with them you fools." He started to say as his laser canon started st retract and his metal hand started to re-appear. "Capture them and prepare them for transport."
"R-R-Right Captain." Cruncher replied as he started to pick up both Thunderkittens from the ground and started to place them over his giant muscular shoulders.
"So now that we have them, how are we gonna deliver them?" Ram-Bam asked with a curious tone.
"Like this." Hammerhand replied as he started to raise his voice and yell into the air. "MUMM-RA! WE HAVE THE KITTENS NOW MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETE YOUR PART OF THE BARGAIN!" He yelled into the sky.
After a moment of silence, a red beam started to come down from the sky and started to envelop Hammerhand and his crew. A moment later, the pirate leader and his band of Berserkers disappeared as the red light vanished.
After the light had vanished, the Unicorn keepers were wondering what has happened to their friends and why did the Berserkers wanted only the Thunderkittens and not their Unicorns.
"Do you have any idea why they would take our young friends honey?" The female elderly keeper asked with wonder.
"I don't know but we should take care of our flock and then head towards the Cat's Lair right away. I have a bed feeling about something." The elderly man stated as one of the Unicorn started to approach them.
"Our friend here is equally worried." The elderly woman stated seeing the concern on the animal's face.
"Nothing we can do for now. We better make sure that everyone else is alright."
After the fight with the Berserkers we now re-join Lion-O and the others as Snarf finished explaining n what had happened to the others.
"Great Jaga." Lion-O stated after hearing everything.
"That was some good piece of work there Snarf." Panthro started to say. "But how were you able to get so much details on what happened to everyone?"
"You can thank me Panthro Snarfer, Snarfer." Snarfer stated with pride in his tone.
"It was my nephew's idea to monitor their communications to keep track of everyone." Snarf replied.
"Da. It was a good idea, but where is everyone now?" Linka asked with much concern for her friends.
"I… I don't know. We lost their signals after they all teleported away." Snarf replied.
"I think I have an idea where they are." Lion-O stated as someone else started to emerge from the secret bunker.
"You mean?" Panthro started to say.
"Yes Panthro. Mumm-Ra's dark Pyramid."
"Snaaarf." Snarf added.
"Is everything alright here?" A voice asked while everyone was focused on Snarf and Snarfer.
As soon as the voice finished it's sentence, Linka recognized it instantly.
"GAIA!" Linka yelled with love as she started to give the spirit of the Earth an embracing hug.
"It is good to see you as well my Planeteer." Gaia replied as Linka released the hug. "Tell me, what has happened and why do I sense that something is not quite right with your heart."
"I thought you needed Ma-Ti's power to do that?"
"Linka, a mother knows these things. Now please tell me what happened and where is Wheeler and Gi."
"Gaia, that might be a sore subject for Linka to discuss." Panthro started to say without trying to be rude. "You see."
"I can handle this Panthro." Linka started to say while cutting Panthro off. "But can I tell you in private? Lion-O and Panthro already know and the less who know the better."
"Of course." Gaia replied as she and Linka started to move away from the others.
As Gaia and Linka started to have their conversation away from the others, Lion-O started to notice a strange look on both Snarf and Snarfer's furry faces.
"Snarf, what is bothering you my furry friend?" Lion-O asked with some concern. "Does it have to do with what happened to the Lair?"
":Snarf:" Snarf stated whiel not knowing where to begin. "Lion-O it was awful. One moment it was there and then the Lair was completely smashed into what you see now."
"Smashed. By who and what did this Snarf?" Panthro asked while seeing the pain and saddness on both of the fury animals faces.
"It was awful Panthro. Oh yes very awful." Snarfer stated while trying to be brave.
"Snarfer, Snarfer, who did this and why are you both so scared?" Lion-O asked with much concern.
"It….It….It was." The furry animals started to say."
"It was what?"
"It was Castle Plunn-Darr. That's what did the damage you see now." The furry animals stated at the same time.
"What? Castle Plun-Darr? That's impossible." Panthro started to say. "That overgrown Gargoyle of a building was never able to become mobile. It was only the Lunatacts Sky Tomb that was able to be mobile."
"Panthro, it is true. It was the Mutants old base. It started to approach us under some kind of hover power and then metal arms started to emerge and started to strike the Lair." Snarf stated while starting to feel a little better.
"I don't believe it." Panthro stated as Gaia and Linka started to return to the others.
"I take it that Snarf and Snarfer told you about what happened to us?" Gaia stated while still trying to process everything that Linka had told her about New Thundera.
"Yes, but I still find it hard to believe that all of that damage was done by the Mutant's old hq." Panthro stated while looking at the almost destroyed lair.
"Remember we told you once before not to underestimate our enemies Panthro. This is another reason why not to lower your guard." Linka stated while trying not to be rude to Panthro's feelings.
"She does have a point Panthro. We Thundercats haven't gone up against these enemies of the Planeteers. They know more about them and what they could do. We should have paid more attention to their warning." Lion-O replied while placing his right hand on Panthro's left shoulder.
"You're right Lion-O. I should have paid attention when you and the rest of your friends tried to warn us about Blight and the others. I'm sorry for not taking this more seriously." Panthro replied while having a since of honesty in his voice.
"It is alright Panthro." Linka replied with a smile on her face. "Now we have to know what exactly happened here."
"I believe I can handle that Linka." Gaia stated while starting to wave her hands and arms into the sky.
"Gaia, are you sure you can do this? It is not like back on Hope Island when you can use the Crystal Chamber to show us images."
"I'll be fine Linka. Ever since you managed to restore your connection to your rings, my power has also started to be restored. Maybe it is also due to the fact that there is no Pollution around."
"That could explain your powers but what about our new powers?" Linka started to say while looking at her ring. "I have never unlocked this power before even when we were training on Hope Island." She added whole aiming her ring into the distance. "THUNDER WIND STRIKE!" Linka shouted as a cat made up of wind started to appear out of her ring.
"That is a new power alright. One I never saw before." Gaia stated while seeing Linka's new power in action.
"I might have an answer for your new power Linka." Lion-O stated as Linka's wind creature started to disburse. "When I first used the Eye of Thundera to energize your rings it might have left something inside each of them."
"Then when we all became part of your family." Linka stated.
"The power from the Eye started to effect your ring's power, giving you all this new power."
"Well that is the best explanation for this, but we have a bigger problem to deal with." Gaia stated as she started to show everyone what happened to the Lair.
As Gaia started to show everyone what happened to the Lair, let's rewind to when the attack started to unfold.
As the Thundercats and the remaining Planeteers went off to save their allies, back in Castle Plunn-Darr, MEL was finishing up his calculations before they could launch their attack.
"Aren't you finished yet chip head?" Duke Nukem stated with anger in his tone.
"Be patient Nukem. Rome wasn't build in a day." Blight replied while starting to flip her gloved hands through her blonde and white hair.
"Come on Blight. By this time Mumm-Ra is probably wondering why we haven't started our attack yet." Sludge stated while starting to feel impatient.
"Patience my friends." The computerized green face started to say. "Just a few more moments and we can begin."
"You are testing my last nerve bit-brain." Nukem stated.
"Oh calm down Nukem and get ready for some fun." MEL stated as a panel inside the main control room started to open. "Now just step inside the circle and we shall begin." He added as a red circle started to appear in the center of the floor.
"This had better be good computer head or I am going to fry every last microchip that you have." Nukem stated as he started to enter the red circle.
"Trust me. You are going to like what happens next." MEL replied as wires started to attach themselves to Nukem's body.
"HEY! WHAT THE HECK IS WITH THESE WIRES?!" Nukem yelled as more wires started to attach themselves to Nukem's body.
"Just calm down." MEL started to say as a few more wires started to attach to Nukem's body. "It is necessary for you to have full control."
"Control? Control of what you overgrown calculator." Sluge stated while seeing the confusion in Nukem's face.
"It will all become clear in just a moment you uneducated Neanderthals." MEL replied with a smirk on his digital face.
"Why you overgrown excuse for a computer program, I outa-" Sludge started to say.
"QUIET ALL OF YOU!" Blight yelled to get everyone attention. "MEL sweety please explain to the lesser minded people about what is happening to Nukem." Blight stated in her most romantic tone.
"For you doctor, oh course." MEL replied in his most computerized censer tone.
"Ugh, all of this romantic garbage is making me sick." Slude replied. "Just get on with it."
"If you insist." MEL stated as a computer image of Castle Plun-Darr started to appear on the main monitor. "This is what I am talking about." The computer added as the image started to change form. "As you can see here, the Mutants had a plan to make their headquarters almost like the Lunatacs Skytomb but lacked enough power to operate it . Now with the crystal, I can complete what they started with a few modifications built in. One of them being the ability to control how the castle moves and acts. That is where these wires come into play Nukem. You will become the controller of the castle. What you do the castle will follow."
"Are you saying that we have to rely on Nukem moving this overgrown pile of rocks?…. We're doomed and buried." Sludge stated after hearing MEL's expiation.
"That is not true." MEL started to say with a smile on his digital face. "That is why I worked overtime to upgrade the base as well as reinforce some areas with special upgrades.
"ENOUGH TALK!" Nukem shouted as the last of the wires finally attached themselves to Nukem's body. "LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!" He added as the entire castle started to shake.
As the entire room inside Castle Plunn-Darr started to shake, outside more shaking was going on for the entire structure. As the structure continued to shake, cracks in the footing below the giant Mutant head started to expand and then started to move. As the rocks continued to crack, the building started to rise off from its' rocky foundations as well as started to spread out it giant wings made of rocks. As the building continued to rise more of the castle started to change form. The Castle was now hovering above 15 to 20 miles above ground level as another pair or rocky arms that were near the head started to crack and extend. After a moment the entire Castle was like a giant person made of rocks with some soft of a metal exo-skeleton being covered inside the rocks. After a moment more the Castle started to move away from it's former foundation and started to head towards it's desired target. The home of the Thundercats, the Cat's Lair.
Unaware of the danger heading towards them, back at the Cat's Lair, Snarf, Snarfer, Gaia and their Wolo and Bulkin friends were hard at work trying to get the Cat's Lair's main systems back online.
"How's it going over there uncle Snarf?" Snarfer asked while trying to get some of the main systems back online.
"It's going fine nephew. I don't need you to tell me what I need to do." Snarf stated as he started to grab some live wires to splice."
"NOT THOSE WIRES UNCLE SNARF!" Snarfer shouted as he started to watch Snarf get a quick jolt of electricity run through out his furry body.
"Snarf…" Snarf started to say as he was finally able to move. "You could have warned me a little sooner."
"Sorry uncle Snarf." Snarfer stated in a saddened tone.
"Go easy on your nephew Snarf." Gaia started to say while helping the Wolo and Bulkin. "We are all tired."
"I know Gaia, but with the Thundercats and Lion-O as well as your Planeters away it is so tough getting everything back in working order."
"I understand but do you think that we can check in on the Thundercats to see how they are doing?"
"Snarfer, did you repair the comms yet?" Snarf asked Snarfer.
"Nope, well sort of. We can hear what is going on we can't respond back, but I did repair the homing beacon signal coming from their comms."
"Well then punch it up." Snarf replied as Snarfer started to activate the main monitor screen.
After Snarf's statement, Snarfer started to transfer the info up onto the main display screen inside the Cat's Lair's control room. After a moment all of the Thundercats and Planeteers signals were on the screen.
"Everything seems to be alright." Gaia stated while hiding a sort of worried feeling in her tone.
"I'm sure everything is going fine Gaia if anything-" Snarf started to say until he was cut-off by Snarfer.
"UNCLE SNARF, UNCLE SNARF!" Snarfer started to yell.
"What is it now nephew." Snarf replied as he started to notice the same thing.
"The signals, they are going out for some reason . Yup, you betch ya for sure." Snarfer replied as they started to loose all of the Thundercat and Planeteer signals from the main display screen.
"Snarfer, what did you do now?" Snarf asked while starting to get very angry.
"It's not my fault Uncle Snarf." Snarfer replied while trying to understand what was happening.
"Calm down Snarf." Gaia started to say while helping both the Wolo and the Bulkin. "You shouldn't get angry at Snarfer. We are all under a lot of stress and trying to get your home working again."
"Brrr." Snarf started to say. "You're right Gaia. I guess I let the stress of what was happening get the better of me." The fury animal added as he started to shift his attention to his nephew. "Sorry Snarfer."
"It's OK uncle Snarf." Snarfer started to say in his most saddened and understanding tone." It is hard for me as well. I am so worried about our friends both here and on New Thundera."
"Same here but there is nothing we can do right now except-" Snarf started to say until something started to cut him off mid-sentence.
As Snarf and Snarfer was about to continue their conversation, the Cat's Lair's external alarms started to go off.
"What's going on now?" Snarf asked while starting to look at the Wolo and the Bulkin.
"Did the two of you mis-wire anything?" Snarfer asked while wondering the same thing.
"Snarf, Snarfer, I was helping the Wolo and the Bulkin connect the correct wires." Gaia replied in her honest tone.
"Then what is making your home's alarms going off about?" The Bulkin asked with wonder.
"Good question. Snarf Snarf." Snartf replied as the fury animal started to activate the main computer screen to bring up the external images from the Cat's Lair. "BY JAGA!" The furry yelled after seeing what started to appear on the main monitor.
"What is it uncle Snarf?" Snarfer started to ask as he also started to see the image appear. "That can't be right. Nope it can't be. No sir."
"I'm afraid that it is Snarf and Snarfer." Gaia replied after seeing the image herself. "This is real and I think that we are in big trouble." She added as they started to see the image become more clearly.
As everyone started to shift their attention towards the main monitor, the image started to become more frightful than ever before. Within a matter of seconds everyone started to see that Castle Plun-Darr was somehow hovering above the ground and started to change shape yet again. As every continued to watch, the stone legs at the bottom of the Castle started to crack and extend towards the ground as the stone arms also started to crack and disconnect from their positions near the legs. After a while the Castle was standing on two rocky feet with arms ready to pounce on anything in it's path.
"BRACE FOR IMPACT!" Snarf yelled as they all saw the rocky arms from the Castle start to strike the Cat's Lair's body.
As Castle Plun-Darr continued to impact the Thundercat's home, part of the Lair started to crack under the intense pressure from the rocky fists. After a while, the Thundercat insignia started to crack and then completely fall apart. As the fists continued to impact the lair, more of the body started to crack and then started to crumble into almost rock dust. As the lair continued to destroyed by the Castle, inside the main control room Dr. Blight, Sly Sludge and MEL were continuing to enjoy everything that was happening as they all watched as Duke Nukem continue to manipulate the Castle's arms into striking the Thundercat's home.
"This is much more fun that I thought." Nukem stated while controlling the Castle's movements.
"Yea, yea, yea. Just don't overdue it brick face. Mumm-Ra might want some proof if he is going to send us back home." Sludge injected.
"What makes you think that Mumm-Ra will send us home?" MEL stated with a confused look on it's digital face.
"What's that supposed to mean micro brain? He has to send us back so that we can pollute in peace without the Planeteers interfering with us."
"Wait a minute both of you." Blight stated while Nukem continued to destroy the Cat's Lair. "My sweetie does has a point there. Once we finish with our task and the Thundercats and Planeteers are no more he just might betray us just for fun."
"Then what are we gonna do? I don't want to stay here on this primitive planet."
"Calm down Sludge." Blight started to say as she started to approach her computerized love on the screen. "I'm sure that MEL sweetems has been working on something to help us get home."
After a moment the computerized head image started to speak. "Of course I have. I was able to store our home coordinates before we were teleported to this location but there is a problem."
"Problem?! What problem?!" Nukem asked while pausing for a few seconds before continuing his destruction.
"The problem is that we need an enormous amount of power to get back home."
"What about using the crystal that is powering both brick face and this castle?" Sludge stated while insulting Nukem.
"Sludge, if I wasn't having so much fun destroying the Thundercats base I would blast you into nothingness right now." Nukem replied.
"The crystal doesn't have enough power to get us home. We need to find a stronger power supply and use that to get home." MEL replied while still trying to find a stronger power supply.
"How much power are we talking about here?" Sludge asked in his most curious and annoyed tone.
"About the equivalent of three nuclear bombs going off at the same time." MEL replied in his most honest computerized tone.
"THREE NUCLEAR BOMBS?!" Sludge yelled before he continued. "Where are we gonna get three nuclear bombs around here. There is no pollution anywhere on this whole planet."
"Calm down Sludge." Blight started to say in her most evil tone. "We already have a power source much stronger then the Crystal powering the Castle."
"Care to share Blight?"
"We can just siphon it from that useless mummy if he tries to betray us."
"And you think that he will just hold still long enough for us to drain his power?"
"Of course not, but that is our failsafe plan if and when he does betray us. Remember the old saying, keep your friends close but your enemies closer."
"On that we all agree." Sludge replied with a smile on his back as Nukem finally finished destroying the Thundercat's home.
"Do you think that the Thundercats will like out little re-modeling job on their home?" Nukem stated while smoke started to emerge from what was left of the lair.
"I think they will love it Nukem." Blight started to say with a smile on her face. "Now let's get this floating castle to Mumm-Ra and find out when he will send us home." Blight added as all three of them smiled as well.
"Home to pollute without no Planet pests to interfere. It is a dream come true." Sludge stated with a smile on his face.
"Yes it is." Nukem added as they all started to laugh as Castle Plunn-Darr started to make it's way from the wreckage of the lair and headed straight towards Mumm-Ra's home.
As Gaia started to finish up her story of what happened to the Cat's Lair, Panthro's emotions were starting to get the better of him as he started to get very angry.
"Blast that Mumm-Ra and those new allies of his." Panthro started to say while trying to maintain his composure. "When I get my hands on them I am going to smash them into cosmic dust."
"Now just calm down Panthro." Lion-O started to say as he approached the dark blue Thundercat. "I know how you feel about all of this but you have to remember that no one was seriously hurt. That is what is important. Buildings can be re-build but lives can't."
"I understand that it is just a matter of pride. Tygra and myself spent countless hours designing and helping to build our homes. It is just-."
"You feel as if the entire world is against you and that there is nothing you can do about it but face it head-on right?" A voice said from behind the two Thundercats.
As soon as both the Thundercats heard the voice from behind them, both of the started to see a extremely saddened and fragile Planeteer with long blond hair.
"Linka." Panthro started to say. "I'm sorry I wasn't thinking about what you are going through as well. Both of your dearest friends stranded back on New Thundera and one of them fighting for their life and now the rest of your team being held prisoner by Mumm-Ra and his new flunkies." He added with a honest and much more calmer tone than before.
"It is alright Panthro." Linka started to say without trying to show her real emotions. "I know that what happened to Wheeler had effected him in some way and what Gi did to try and help free him was really brave." It is just-" Linka started to say as she started to cry without even knowing it.
"Linka?" Another voice stared to say from behind Linka. "Please tell me, what are you feeling right now." The voice stated in a much more calmer and motherly tone.
"I feel…. I feel like a coward Gaia." Linka started to say while turning around to see their friend and surrogate mother standing before her with open arms. "What Gi did was so brave that I couldn't believe it. She was willing to risk her own life to save Wheeler, and I just stood there." She added while starting to cry.
"Linka, what happened inside the Great Beneath was beyond anyone's control. You couldn't have know what she was going to do or how it was going to affect her in the process." Lion-O stated while trying to calm down the Wind Planeteer.
"I know Lion-O." Linka started to say while sobbing a little. "It is just that I love Wheeler and as his wife I should have been there to help save him."
"Linka, you couldn't have saved him. You may have made the situation worse." Panthro stated as Linka and the others all looked at Panthro with confusion on their faces.
"What do you mean by make things worse Panthro?" Lion-O asked while wondering about Panthro's statement.
"While we were on New Thundera, I took Linka and Gi to see the Book of Omens and to ask the Guardian for help. The Guardian of the book said that Gi was the only one to save Wheeler's life cause of her feelings for him."
"Feelings?" Snarf started to say after hearing Panthro's statement. "But I always thought that Wheeler and you were the perfect couple. I mean you both did get married."
"And look at how that got us in our current situation. I got captured and taken to Spidera's kingdom and then poisioned by her children's venom. Then I started to lash out at the man I loved before we were all turned to stone. Then Wheeler was brainwashed to believe that we were all his enemies and tried to kill us, and now Gi is fighting to survive while Wheeler is at her bedside. What can I do to change all of that and still be with the man I love.?" She stated before falling to her knees while still crying.
"Linka." Lion-O started to say as he started to join Linka on the ground. "I believe I know how you feel. I am worried about someone that I love as well, but we have to be strong and keep moving forward if we are to save everyone."
"What did you say?" Linka asked while a certain phrase that she had not heard in a long time.
"I said that we have to be strong if we are going to save everyone."
"Not that, before that."
"What? Keep moving forward?"
"That's it." Linka replied while starting to remember something when she was hearing that saying.
"What is so special about that phrase?" Snarf asked while starting to wonder.
"When we were once on vacation from the Planeteers, Wheeler convinced us all to go to a theme park in Orlando Fl. The park was named after it's creator with one saying always under his statue. The saying was "it started with a mouse and keep moving forward." I almost forgotten about that until just now."
"Do you know the name of the park?" Panthro asked with wonder.
"It was call Walt Disney World. It's a very popular theme park, full of magic and wonderful characters."
"I would like to hear more about this Disney World Park, when we have some free time."
"I agree with you Panthro, but first we have to come up with a plan to save everyone before Mumm-Ra starts his next attack."
"I hate to admit this, but I am worried about what might happen to our new friends and family." Gaia started o say while trying not to show any worry on her face..
"I know what you mean Gaia. If Mumm-Ra can effect Wheeler like he did, then who knows what is happening next." Linka replied in her most honest tone.
As everyone continued their discussion outside the wreckage of the Cat's Lair, evil has started to take a whole new level as Mumm-Ra and his newest allies have started to bring their ultimate plan for the final destruction of both the Thundercats and the remaining Planeteers.
