At the time I was writing this fanfic site was down so I was disappointed. Hopefully it'll be fixed and I can post the next chapter.

Chp 17: Dragon/Phoenix

Mira in her she-devil form continued to hold tight on King Faust. "You wench what've you done to slayer?"

"I'm right here." The king looked to the side of him to see his slayer without his mask(Author note: yes as I said before go back and reread the revised chapter)

"Impossible but how?"

"You see."

Let's cut back to after meeting up with the others in E-land. While the group were shocked to see Slayer he began to glow and reveal to be Mira using her transformation magic. Much to Elfman's relief he ran over and gave her a great big hug.

"Right on girl I knew you'd beat that loser."

"Yeah In a way you can say I'm a loser, alright." From behind the pillar out walked none other than Slaye himself, helmetless. All were stunned to see the man's face for it was a dead ringer for their resident fire dragon slayer.

"Everyone meet Edolas Natsu, or you've come to know him as Slayer." Mira said. For a moment everyone was shocked, especially Natsu who marched up to his counterpart and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

"Hey tell me something!" Natsu said with a tense tone. "Do you suffer motion sickness?"

"What the hell." Cana spat.

"Natsu you moron that isn't the main issue, sis how come he's here did this jerk brainwash you or something?!"

"Elfman relax Slayer or rather Natsu isn't our enemy anymore, in fact he was never truly evil."

Slayer went on to explain his story of how he ended up working for Faust as the slayer, a long time ago he was put under a spell by Faust thinking that his brother was alive but sick and if he acquired earthland magic then he could heal him. But his younger brother was long dead and as soon as the magic was taken from Earthland he'd cut his strings. This made Zodie's blood boil remembering his own brother he had felt for Edolas Natsu.

"What a rotten dirty scumbag!" Elfman spat.

"If I ever see that guy he's gonna pay!" Natsu said, igniting his fist on fire.

Edolas Natsu fell to his knees grabbing his head. "All those lives I took because of that madman!" He broke down crying.

Feeling sympathetic Lissna walked up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see her smiling and offering him her hand. "It's not too late you know, you can atone for your actions, let's take down Faust and save everyone you owe them that much." After thinking about it for a while he takes her hand and is helped up to her feet.

"Ok so what do we do?"

"I have a plan?" Said Mira.

Now back in the present moment. "And that's what happened." Mira finished.

"You're gonna pay for what you did to me Faust." Edo Natsu went over to the keyhole and attempted to change the direction of the cannon but nothing happened. "What the hell?"

Faust began to let out a chuckle. "Fool, I thought something like this might've happened, you breaking the spell and turning on me, so I had Byro make the keyhole to where the cannon can't be altered. Mira Natsu and Cana were wide eyed in shock.

Cana begins shaking. "N…no way that can't be."

Back over with Gajeels group he and Lily halted their bout as the dragon chain attached itself to the island. "What on earth is that?" Said Juvia.

Lily had a triumphant grin on his face. "You're too late, the dragon chain cannon has already attached."

Happy flew to the bottom of the island to confirm it. "Oh man he's right there's something stuck right at the bottom of it."

"Bollocks, they didn't make it in time," Said Pip.

Back in the chamber

"Attachment now complete." Reported a soldier.

"DO IT NOW SMASH THAT BLASTED ISLAND!" Faust ordered.

"No!" Cana exclaimed.

"There's gotta be something we can do, it can't end like this." Natsu said, hitting the ground in frustration.

Suddenly the ceiling began to bust open and a legion entered. "Hey guys, rescue mission taxi service." Said Lissana. With Elfman next to her.

"Hurry, we need to move now!" Coco said on the reigns of the behemoth. Natsu emitted fire from his feet and flew up to the legion before the creature roared, scaring the soldiers away before taking it up in the air and flying out of the chamber. Mira flew out after them.

A soldier went over to help up Faust but the king shoved him away. "Don't you all just stand there after them, It's time to deploy the Dormin arma!"

The group Coco, Natsu, Canna, Elfman, Mira and Lisanna were making their way to the where the dragon chain cannon was launched hoping they could stop it. "Hey where'd the two Zodies go?" Elfman asked.

"They went to Extalia to assist Wendy and Carla." Cana said. "I hope they can be convinced of their current danger."

"Is this thing really gonna be able to save everyone?" Elfman asked, sounding uncertain.

"It's gonna have to be, I mean we won't know unless we actually try." Said Natsu.

Back in Extalia where Shaggotte has now introduced herself as the queen. Carla and Wnedy couldn't believe what they were hearing, this member of a rebel squad was the queen. "You see there was never a king of Extalia, what you're all seeing is a caleum."(Author's note: I know their celestial spirits but in Edolas they're a form of technology). "It was created by me."

The citizens had recovered from what Carla had done slowly and groggily, waking up before noticing Shaggotte and recognized her as their queen.

"Y…your highness it's you."

"Thank goodness you're back with you here you can get rid of these humans."

"Yeah to think that we'd believe that the humans could ever revolt

"It's no joke, I'm afraid, look closely." The exceeds looked in the direction Shaggotte pointed and noticed a glowing red light which gave them a sense of uneasiness. "What the human girl and her companion say is true, our home is on the brink of destruction."

"Hey what the heck is that thing?"

"Oh no it's the royal army they're attacking."

"No way they can't be that stupid right."

"Your highness surely you can put a stop to this right?"

Shaggote said nothing as she looked away. "I…I'm afraid there's nothing I can do."

"Huh but what do you mean?"

Carla stepped forward. "It's time you finally come clean about your story."

"And what do you mean when you said you created this thing to act as ruler?" Wendy asked.

"Very well, first of all you can all stop thinking so highly of me because I don't deserve it. I am merely just a regular exceed like you acting as ruler and living a lie as a god to strike fear into humans. But eventually I couldn't handle it anymore, I could;nt live with myself with the lies so I created this device to deceive you all as acting ruler." Carla was disgusted while all the other exceeds were in utter shock. "But I see now how my actions have led to the revolt of humans against our kind." Tears ran down her face as Cornelia crouched down, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Now I ask you all to leave Extalia. I will remain here and fall with the island which was once my home.

Carla walked over to Shaggotte and delivered a hard slap to her face, the citizens were shocked by this. "So you just want to take the easy way out again, is that it, just run from your problems and not atone for your misdeeds.!?

"Carl." Wendy said/

From above both Zodies touched down from above. "Wendy Carla you both okay what's going on."

"We're fine just in a compromising situation." The sky maiden then noticed the taller individual next to her friend. "Who's this an ally?"

"Wendy, this is my Edolas counterpart." The sky maiden became distracted by Edo Zodie's as she became enamored by his good looks. From the depths of his eyes to the build of his body; no wonder Edo Wendy was so attracted to this man.

"Wendy…Wendy…WENDY." Earthland Zodie shouted as he lightly shook his friend to snap out of it.

"Y…yes."

"We gotta get out of here."

Coming through the crowd came Nadi looking anxious. "My lady if I may but she's right, live on make things right with your people, you owe us that much!"

Back on the lacrima island Gajeel Juvia Pip and Lily stood there as they were making their way to Extalia for its destruction.

"This isn't good." Happy exclaimed with panic.

"Gajeel." Said Juvia. "Smash it now before it's too late."

"It's no good this damn thing is moving too fast."

Pip then looked up and happened to notice something flying towards them. "Oo we got a bogey in bound."

Back with Natsu and co the legion they road grew closer and closer to the lacrima island before colliding its massive body with it. However the beast creature was no match for the island's size and was moving way too fast.

Natsu leaped off the legions head and slammed his hands onto the surface of the moving island. "Come on, don't just stand there, we gotta do what we can to stop this thing."

"Manly leap." Elfman shouted as he transformed into his beats mode and assisted Natsu. Soon Mira began to help as well. From up above they were then joined by Gajeel Pip and Juvia.

"Well glad you could make it to the party chrome dome." Natsu teased.

"Been here the whole time where the hell you've been numb nuts." Gajeel shot back.

Mira whacked both dragon slayers over the heads, ceasing their bickering which frightened Happy and Elfman. "Guys not to sound like a debbie downer but we're getting closer to Extalia, pretty soon they'll collide." Whined Cana.

"We can't stop, we have to keep going." Said Mira.

"Do they really think they can stop what's about to happen?" Asked Lilly looking down at them, his attention was caught from something in the distance. She flew in and joined everyone

"Carla, your back." Happy said with joy.

"I didn't come alone." With her were the rest of the citizens of Extalia along with the two Zodie's and Carla.

"Not to worry cavalry's here." Spoke Edolas Zodie.

"We're not stopping no matter the cost!" Wendy cried.

As everybody combined their magic power a green light shined from the surface, the pressure grew less and less as everyone let out a loud scream till the lacrima island had finally come to a stop. Crazy thing is that the giant lacrima was now gone along with the dragon chain cannon, it was unbelievable, so much so everyone was silent.

"We…did it…right you guys?" Wendy asked.

"The lacrima…it's gone so I guess that's a yes." Lisanna answered.

"But where's the lacrima?" Elfman asked.

"Be at ease, fairy tail." A voice spoke from above them. The voice came from none other than Mystogan who was atop a legion. "Sorry for my absence, it took a lot longer to find a remnant for reversing the anima, you'll be happy to know that your allies are safe and sound."

All the excess then erupted with a chorus of cheers. Lily leaped from the island and flew over to Mystogan. "Y…your highness it's you." Jellal took his mask off, making Coco begin to cry joyfully.

"The prince you've returned."

Edolas Zodie wiped a tear from his eye. "Well it's about damn time."

The earthland wizards were flabbergasted. "Wait what." They spoke in unison.

"I'm sorry but who the hell is this guy?" Exclaimed Gajeel.

Right before Lily could say anything he was hit in the midsection and sent plummeting to the ground if not for Edolas Zodie reacting in time and catching him he would've died.

"No! My black cat." Gajeel cried.

Zodie with his eyesight looked to find the origin of the blast and saw a horde of legions were heading towards them. On top of them were soldiers being led by the bronze knight. "Guys, we have incoming soldiers."

Everyone was now on guard as the whole army arrived. "You just can't trust anyone nowadays, add the furball to the list of traitors."

"Lily." Coco cried still atop of her legion.

"Hey asshole, that's my cat you just injured your gonna pay for that!"

Bronze ignored Gajeel. "Never really like that guy, always barking orders like he owned the place, or rather meowing I should say." He laughed at his joke. He then looked up at Jellal. "Your next!" He said pointing his sword at him.

"Sieghart, you dare raise your blade up to me, the future king of edolas, dear brother."

"WAIT, BROTHER!" Everyone yelled in surprise.

The said knight removed his helmet to reveal himself to look almost identical to Jellal only difference is Sieghart has violet blue eyes and longer blue hair with a pointier chin.

"Future king huh, DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH BOY." Scoffed a voice. "It'll be a cold day in hell before I ever let you become king."

"That voice it's faust." Coco Scoffed.

"Where is it coming from?" Asked Natsu.

"Come on bucko, quit being a wuss and show yourself like a real man." Said Elfman.

Zodie then noticed something down at a coliseum, a glowing green light. "Hey everyone down there." He pointed. The group looked down to what Zodie was pointing at, a rumbling sound could be heard from down below and the area was giving off an enormous amount of magic power.

"Something's coming from under ground you guys." Spoke Cana.

"And whatever it is, it's powerful." Said Mira.

A massive silver egg shaped object emerged from the ground glowing covered in chains. "An egg." Happy said.

"Is this some kind of weapon, is anyone here allergic to poultry?" Gajeel said.

The egg shaped object began levitating and the chain's covering started to break. "I've got to hand it to Faust. He's really outdone himself with this new weapon."

"Father, what're you doing?!"

"The dragon chain cannon failed me but this beauty is my trump card, with it i'll dispose of you all then that pesky fairy tail guild is next, and no one will stop me from having unlimited magic power!"

The metal egg began to open up like a flower when it bloomed, it began to take a new shape and took the form of a metallic bipedal fusion of a dragon and phoenix. It had sharp silver talons with black wings

"What is that thing?" Lisanna exclaimed. "Some kind of robot dragon bird."

"It's the Dorma anim." Edolas Zodie spoke with uneasiness to his voice. "Or at least I think it is."

"The Dorma what?" Elfman asked.

"Dorma anim translated it means dragon knight. It's a magical armored dragon, one of the most dangerous items in Edolas according to the twenty-third article imperial constitution of the kingdom of edolas."

"Indeed." Spoke Jellal. "However based on what we're seeing doesn't quite seem to be the case, this is something different so we might be in trouble."

Coco on her legion flew back up now with Lilly laying down unconscious. "It's made from wizard canceller, a rare lacrima that cancels out magic, but for all we know that thing could possibly do much much worse." Said Coco. "King Faust is inside that thing."

"Feast your eyes on the Dorma Anim Phoenix enforcer, ENOUGH CHIT CHAT CAPTURE THE EXCEEDS."

Many soldiers flew in armed with cannons and blasting at the fleeing exceeds. They flew as fast as they could but it was no use. One by one they were caught in the blast and turned into lacrimas dropping down to the ground.

"Oh crap this is bad. What're we gonna do now!" Said Elfman.

"Our magic can't hurt it so we'll have to avoid its attacks for now." Jellal said.

"Think so." Faust charged up a beam from the Anim's mouth and blasted at the group. Jellal on his legion flew in front of the beam to block it with his staves.

"Three layered magic circle mirror." The blast was then reflected but not at the dorma anim due to it not being able to do damage but blasted at the soldiers.

"Impressive using my attack in order to target my soldiers, but you won't be doing it a second time." The dorma anim blasted another shot towards Jellal but this time was faster not giving the prince enough time to react he was blown out of the sky and plummeted.

"Jellal hang on." Yelled Edolas Zodie as he flew down to save him but was suddenly intercepted by Sierghat's legion. "Going somewhere I've got a score to settle with you." Both fighters were flown to another area away from the dorma anim.

"It's hopeless there's nothing you can do now, you're powerless against the all mighty Dorma anim."

"Sure about that?" An explosion went off the neck of the machine making it stagger. Another attack hit it in the sternum from a large iron rod. Faust was shocked. "What an attack and it actually caused damage."

"Sky dragon roar." A certain blue head blasted at the behemoth pushing it back into a wall.

"How is this possible? Who's doing this." The old man got his answer when he looked down to see the fairy tail's three dragon slayers standing in front of him."

"Heh, so my theory was right, your fake ass dragon is impervious to magic except for dragon slayer magic." Said Natsu.

"It makes sense folks are saying that our magic can do things others can't." Gajeel added.

"Now you're gonna pay for what you did and all the people you've hurt, Wendy said."

Finally the Dorma had an attack hit its left eye catching Faust off guard, this was Zodie's doing he turned invisible and striked the mechanical beast. "Not very clever on your part by making it half phoenix, it just means strength in numbers for us."

Everyone from atop the legion looked down at the trio. "Guy's come on, they've got this because they're all real men." Said Elfman.

"Wendy is a girl you ignoramus." Said Carla.

"The big guy's right, get going we got this." Natsu called out. Coco's legion began to fly away. Natsu and Gajeel stood in front with Wendy behind them with a look of determination while Zodie was above them, wings sprouting ready to throw down.

Boom done another chapter down only 1 or 2 more chapters for the edolas arc and it'll be done. As for the Dorma Anim I could'nt think of a cool name so I called it the phoenix enforcer,Now let's touch up on the bronze knight identity Sieghart. He's a character from rave master who resembles Jellal; don't believe me look him up. Anyway, more to come in chapter eighteen, and don't worry Zodie will join the dragon slayers in the battle. P.S Fairy tail 100 year quest is released i'm so excited im a dub watcher for anime btw.
