The Big Bang

Honestly, the second the Pandorica closed, I was sure I was never going to see the outside world again. So when the Pandorica opened again and I saw Rory standing there, the three of us were surprised.

"How did you do that?" I asked, as the restraints around us Time Lords started to unlock.

"You and The Doctor gave me this," said Rory, as he held up The Doctor's sonic screwdriver.

The Doctor took the screwdriver out of his jacket pocket, "No, I didn't."

"You did. Look at it."

Us Time Lords stepped out of the Pandorica and The Doctor held out his sonic to the one on in Rory's hand and they sparked, "Temporal energy. Same screwdriver, at different points in its own time stream. Which means it was me who gave it to you. Me from the future. I've got a future, that's nice."

"That's not," said Annabelle as she looked behind Rory. I looked and saw the petrified remains of our enemies.

"Yeah. What are they?" asked Rory.

"History has collapsed," said The Doctor, "Whole races have been deleted from existence. These are just like after-images. Echoes, fossils in time. The footprints of the never-were."

"Er, what does that mean?"

"It's a total event collapse," I said, "The universe literally never happened."

"So, how can we be here?" asked Rory, "What's keeping us safe?"

"Nothing," said Annabelle, "We are in the eye of the storm. We're just the last light to go out." Then she started to look around, "Where's Amy?"

Rory then took us back above ground. We saw Amy's body being covered by a blanket. The Doctor squatted down beside her and lifted the blanket covering her," I killed her." said Rory.

I gave him a comforting hug, "Oh, Rory…"

"Teddy, what am I?"

I broke our hug, "You're a Nestene duplicate," I said as I moved to kneel next to Amy and scan her with my sonic.

"A lump of plastic with delusions of humanity," said The Doctor.

"But I'm Rory now. Whatever was happening, it's stopped. I'm Rory!"

"That's software talking."

"Can you help her? Is there anything you can do?"

"Yeah, probably, if I had the time," said The Doctor as he stood.

"The time?!"

"All of creation has just been wiped from the sky. Do you know how many lives now never happened? All the people who never lived? Your girlfriend isn't more important than the whole universe."

Rory went up to The Doctor, spun him around and punched him in the jaw, knocking him to the ground, "She is to me!"

The Doctor stood and laughed, "Welcome back, Rory Williams! Sorry, had to be sure. Hell of a gun-arm you're packing there. Right, we need to get her downstairs. And take that look off your plastic face. You're getting married in the morning!"

We got Amy into the Pandorica and Rory asked, "So you've got a plan, then?"

"Bit of a plan, yeah. Memories are more powerful than you think, and Amy Pond is not an ordinary girl."

"She grew up with a time crack in her wall," I said, "The universe poured into her dreams every night. The Nestenes took a memory print of her and got more than they bargained for."

"Like you," said The Doctor, "Not just your face, but your heart and your soul." he placed his hand on either side of her face and closed his eyes, "I'm leaving her a message for when she wakes up, so she knows what's happening." Then, The Doctor used his sonic to close the Pandorica.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you doing?" asked Rory.

"Saving her," said The Doctor.

"This is the ultimate prison," said Annabelle, "You can't even escape by dying. It forces you to stay alive."

"But she's already dead," said Rory.

"Not quite," I said, "The Pandorica can stasis-lock her. All it needs is a scan of her living DNA and it'll restore her."

"Where's it going to get that?"

The Doctor looked at his watch, "In about 2,000 years." He walked over to River's bag and took out her vortex manipulator.

"She's going to be in that box for 2,000 years?!"

"Yeah, but we're taking a shortcut. River's vortex manipulator. Rubbish way to time travel, but the universe is tiny now. We'll be fine."

"So the future's still there, then? Our world?"

"A version of it," I said, "Not quite the one you know. Earth and everything on it is now the entire universe."

"Let's go and have a look," said The Doctor as he held his arm out, "You put your hand there. Don't worry, should be safe."

"That's not what I'm worried about," said Rory.

"She'll be fine," said Annabelle, "Nothing can get into that box."

"You all got in there."

"Because we were put in there."

'This box needs a guard. I killed the last one."

"No. Rory, no," said The Doctor, "Don't even think about it."

"She'll be all alone."

"She won't feel it," I said.

"You bet she won't!"

"We are talking 2,000 years, Rory," said Annabelle, "In this form, you're not capable of sleep. You'll be conscious every second. It will drive you crazy."

"Will she be safer if I stay?" asked Rory, "Look me in the eye and tell me she wouldn't be safer."

I sighed, "Rory…"

"Answer me!"

"Yes. Obviously."

"Then how could I leave her?"

I smiled, "Why do you have to be so...human?"

"Because right now, I'm not."

The Doctor started to press buttons on the vortex manipulator, "Listen to me," he said, "This is the last bit of advice you're going to get in a very long time. You're living plastic, but not immortal. I have no idea how long you'll last. And you're not indestructible. Stay away from heat and radio signals when they come along." Annabelle and I put our hands on the vortex manipulator, as The Doctor continued, "You can't heal, or repair yourself. Any damage is permanent. So, for God's sake, however bored you get, stay out of…" Then The Doctor activated the manipulator and we vanished. "...Trouble." finished The Doctor when we reappeared, in the National Museum. We turned one way and saw the Pandorica. We turned another way and saw a Dalek, "Oh!" then we turned behind us and saw Amy and Amelia. "Two of you? Complicated."

"Exterminate!" said the Dalek, "Weapons systems restoring."

The Doctor took Amy and Amelia's by the hand and said, "Come along, Ponds." I took Annabelle's hand and we ran from the room.

"Exterminate!"

We stopped at a display representing North Africa. The Doctor stumbled into one of the mannequins and took the fez from its head. "What are we doing?" asked Amy.

"Running into a dead end," said The Doctor, "where I'll have a brilliant plan, that basically involves not being in one."

Just then a night watchman walked in the room with a flash light. We went and hid behind the Pandorica. "What's going on?" asked the watchman. I couldn't help but notice the watchman a familiar voice.

The Doctor looked at Amy, "Get out of here. Go! Just run!" she didn't move.

The Dalek turned to the watchman, "Drop the device" it said.

"It's not a weapon," said Annabelle, "Scan it. It's not a weapon, and you don't have the power to waste!"

"Scans indicate intruder unarmed."

"Do you think?" said the watchman. He dropped his flashlight and his hand opened to reveal a gun. He fired at the Dalek's eyestalk.

"Vision impaired! Vision…" said the Dalek, as the watchman moved out of the shadows to reveal himself. I smiled when I saw it was Rory.

We came out from behind the Pandorica and Rory said, "Amy?"

"Rory!" said Amy as she ran to him and they hugged.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. It just happened.

"Oh, Shut up," said Amy as she kissed him.

The Doctor came up between them, "Yeah, shut up, cos we've got to go. Come on!"

"I waited. 2,000 years," said Rory, "I waited for you."

"No, still shut up," said Amy as they kissed again. (long kiss)

"And break!" said I as I tried to break them up, "And breathe! Well, somebody didn't get out much for the last 2,000 years."

Then, Amelia tugged on the Doctor's sleeve, "I'm thirsty. Can I get a drink?"

"Oh, it's all mouths today, isn't it?!" said The Doctor. He put the fez on her head but she shoved it back at him.

Annabelle was looking at the Dalek, "The light from the Pandorica must have hit the Dalek." Then we saw the Dalek's laser move, "Everybody Out!" The Doctor rushed Amy and Rory out of the room and grabbed Amelia's hand.

When we got to the foyer, Rory closed the door and I locked it with my sonic. "So, what did you do for 2,000 years?" I asked.

"Kept out of trouble."

"Oh," said The Doctor as he put the fez on his head, "How?"

"Unsuccessfully," said Rory. The Doctor picked up a mop and was about to put it through the door handles, when Rory said, "The mop! That's how you looked all those years ago when you and Teddy gave me the sonic."

"Ah! Well, no time to lose then," said The Doctor as he grabbed my hand. I placed it on the manipulator, he activated it and we found ourselves back at Stonehenge.

Rory was keeling on the ground with cradling Amy's body, "Rory!" said The Doctor, "Listen, she's not dead. Well, she is dead, but it's not the end of the world. Well, it is the end of the world. Actually, it's the end of the universe. Oh, no. Hang on!" The Doctor took a hold of my hand again tapped the coordinates into the vortex manipulator and we were back in the museum.

"Oops, sorry," The Doctor took the mop and placed it in the door handles to close the door.

"How can he do that?" Amelia asked Amy, "Is he magic?"

A second later we were back at Stonehenge, "You need to get us out of the Pandorica." I said as The Doctor reached into his pocket and took out his sonic screwdriver.

"You're not in the Pandorica." said Rory.

"Yes, we are," I said, "You see, The Doctor and I are from the future after you get us out."

"It's easy to open from the outside," said The Doctor as he handed Rory his sonic, "just point and press. Now go." Then we went back to the museum, "Right, let's go then." he started up the stairs and stopped, "Wait! Now I don't have my sonic, I just gave it Rory 2,000 years ago." He tapped on the manipulator and vanished. He reappeared a second later and said, "Right then," he reached into Amy's inside jacket pocket and took out his sonic, "Off we go!"

"Wait a second," said Annabelle, She looked at Amelia, "How did you know to come here?"

Amelia reached into her coat pocket and pulled out a pamphlet for the National Museum with 'Come along, Pond' written on it and a post-it note with 'Stick around, Pond' written on it, "Ah, my handwriting. OK!" said the Doctor. He ran over to a stand to grab a pamphlet then he ran over to a desk to grab a post-it note. Then he activated the manipulator again and vanished. He returned a second later with a drink cup for Ameila he handed it to her and said, "There you go, drink up!"

"What is that? How are you doing that?" asked Amy.

"It's a Vortex manipulator," I said, "It's a cheap and nasty form of time travel."

"Very bad for you. I'm trying to give it up," said The Doctor.

"Where are we going?"

"The roof," said The Doctor. Just then at the top of the landing, another Doctor appeared. His jacket was smoking and he looked beaten up. Then he fell down the stairs and rolled to a stop. The Present Doctor rushed over to him and used his sonic on him.

"Doctor, it's you. How can it be you?" asked Rory.

"Doctor, is that you?" asked Amy

"Yeah, it's me," said The Present Doctor, "Me from the future." Future Doctor then opened his eyes, sat up and grabbed The Present Doctor and whispered something in his ear. Annabelle and I listened into the Future Doctor's plan through our telepathic link, then fell back to the floor unconscious.

"Are you... I mean, is he... Is he dead?" asked Amy

"What?" said The Doctor as he stood, "Dead? Yes, yes. Of course he's dead." he climbed over the body and went up the stairs, "Right, I've got 12 minutes, that's good."

"12 minutes to live?" asked Amy, "How is that good?"

"You can do loads in 12 minutes... suck a mint, buy a sledge, have a fast bath. Come on, the roof!"

"We can't leave you here, dead." said Rory.

"Oh, good! Are you in charge now?" asked The Doctor, "So, tell me, what are we going to do about Amelia?"

Rory turned around and Amelia was gone. Her cup was lying on the floor., "Where did she go?" asked Amy.

The two of them ran down the steps, "Amelia?" called Rory.

"There is no Amelia," I said, "From now on, there never was. History is still collapsing."

"How can I be here, if she's not?" asked Amy.

"You're an anomaly. We all are. We're all hanging on in the eye of the storm, but the eye is closing, and if we don't do something, reality will never have happened. "

"Today, just dying is a result. Now, come on!" said The Doctor as Annabelle and I ran up the steps to join our uncle.

When we got to the top we saw Rory and Amy still at the bottom, "Move it. Come on!" shouted Annabelle. Then the two of them started running up the stairs.

We reached the roof and saw it was light out, "What, it's morning already? How did that happen?" asked Amy.

"History is shrinking. Is anybody listening to us?" said The Doctor, "Universe is collapsing. We don't have much time left." The Doctor used his sonic on a small satellite dish.

"What are you doing?" asked Rory.

"Looking for the TARDIS."

"But the TARDIS exploded."

"OK, then. We're looking for an exploding TARDIS." said Annabelle as she and I helped The Doctor remove the dish from its mounting.

"I don't understand," said Amy, "So, the TARDIS blew up and took the universe with it. Why would it do that? How?"

The Doctor stood on a raised section of the roof, "That's a good question for another day," I said, "But I have a better one… Total event collapse means that every star in the universe never existed. Not one of them.. Ever… So, if all the stars that ever were are gone, then what is that?" I pointed up to a large ball of fire in the sky, "Like we said, we're looking for an exploding TARDIS."

"But that's the sun." said Rory.

"Is it?" asked The Doctor, "Here's the noise that sun is making right now." he held up the dish and amplified the familiar sound of the TARDIS, "That's the TARDIS burning up. That's what's been keeping the Earth warm."

"Doctor, there's something else. There's a voice."

While The Doctor adjusted the settings on his screwdriver, Amy asked, "I can't hear anything."

"Trust the plastic," said Rory.

Then we started to hear the voice of River repeating, "I'm sorry, my loves."

"Doctor, that's River," said Amy, "How can she be up there?"

"It must be like a recording or something," said Rory.

"No, it's not a recording," I said, " The TARDIS emergency protocols sealed off the control room and put her into a time loop to save her. She is right at the heart of the explosion."

The Doctor disappeared and a second later he reappeared with River and she called out, "Teddy! Annabelle! Amy! And the plastic Centurion?"

"It's OK, he's on our side," said Annabelle.

"Really? I dated a Nestene duplicate once... swappable head, it did keep things fresh. Right then, I have questions. But number one is this…"River looked at The Doctor, "What in the name of sanity have you got on your head?"

"It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezes are cool." said The Doctor. River looked at Amy and me and I nodded. I knocked it off my uncle's head, Amy caught it and threw it up into the sky. Then, River pulled out her blaster and shot it. "Oh!" said The Doctor.

Just then we heard the Dalek call out, "Exterminate!" a second later the Dalek appeared levitating up the side of the building."

"Run, run, move, move!" shouted The Doctor, as we ran for the hatch that lead to the stairwell.

"GO!" shouted Annabelle as she used the satellite dish like a shield to block the Dalek's attack.

Once we were all back inside The Doctor used his sonic to seal the hatch. River had her blaster out just in case.

"Doctor, come on." called River.

"Shh," said The Doctor as he listened at the hatch, "It's moving away, finding another way in." he climbed down the ladder, "It needs to restore its power before it can attack again. Now, that means we've got exactly," he checked his watch, "four and a half minutes before it's at lethal capacity." Then, we started down the stairs.

"How do you know?" asked Rory.

"Because that's when it's due to kill me."

"Kill you? What do you mean, kill you?" asked River

"Oh, shut up, never mind," said The Doctor, "How can that Dalek even exist?" we walked into a hallway, "It was erased from time and then it came back. How?"

"You said the light from the Pandorica…" said Rory.

"It's not just a light," I said, "it's a restoration field. That light brought Amy back, but how could it bring back a Dalek when the Daleks have never existed?"

"OK, tell us." said Amy.

"When the TARDIS blew up, it caused a total event collapse," said The Doctor, "A time explosion. It blasted every atom in every moment of the universe. Except…"

"Except inside the Pandorica," said Amy.

"The perfect prison. Inside it, perfectly preserved, a few billion atoms of the universe as it was. In theory, you could extrapolate the whole universe from a single one of them, like cloning a body from a single cell. And we've got the bumper family pack."

"No, too fast, I'm not getting it," said Rory.

Annabelle rolled her eyes, "The Pandorica contains a memory of the universe, and the light transmits the memory. And that's how we're going to do it."

"Do what?"

"Relight the fire," Said The Doctor, "Reboot the universe. Come on!"

"Doctor, you're being completely ridiculous," said River as she caught up to us, "The Pandorica partially restored one Dalek. If it can't even reboot a single life form properly, how will it reboot the whole of reality?"

"But, what if we give it a moment of infinite power?" I said, "We transmit the light from the Pandorica to every particle of space and time simultaneously?"

"Well, that would be lovely but we can't, because it's completely impossible."

"Ah, no, you see, it's not," said The Doctor, as he tapped River on the forehead, "It's ALMOST completely impossible. One spark is all we need."

"For what?"

"Big Bang Two!" whispered The Doctor, "Now listen…"

Then out of nowhere the Dalek appeared and shot The Doctor and he fell to the floor. I moved Amy and Annabelle out of harms while the Dalek called out, "Exterminate! Exterminate!"

River knelt at The Doctor's side while Rory moved to the take cover in the archway, "Get back. River, get back now!"

"Exterminate!" said the Dalek.

Rory fired at the Dalek a couple of times and it stopped moving again. River looked down at my uncle "Doctor. Doctor, it's me, River. Can you hear me? What is it? What do you need?" The Doctor struggled and activated the manipulator, "Where did he go? Damn it, he could be anywhere."

"He went downstairs. 12 minutes ago," said Amy with tears in her eyes.

"Show me!"

"River, he died."

"Systems restoring!" said the Dalek, "You will be exterminated!"

"We've got to move," said Annabelle, "The Daleks coming back to life."

"You all go to the Doctor. I'll be right with you."

We all ran out of the hall and went to the foyer where we left The Doctor's body. When we got there we saw The Doctor's body was gone, "How could he have moved? He was dead!" as he ran down the stairs, "Doctor? Doctor!"

"But he was dead!" said Amy.

Just then River appeared at the stairs, "Who told you that?" she asked.

"He did," said Amy

River walked down the stairs, "Really… And did Teddy or Annabelle confirm what he said?"

Amy looked at us and we both found it hard to look our companion in the eye, "No? Why?"

River smirked, and looked at us, "Rule one. The Doctor lies…"

"Where's the Dalek?" asked Amy.

"It died." said River as she opened the door to the exhibit hall.

The five of us made our way through the exhibit hall and headed to the Pandorica Room. Where we saw The Doctor sitting inside it, hunched over, unconscious. "Doctor!" exclaimed Amy as we ran over.

Annabelle, River and I reached him first and I scanned him with my sonic to make sure he was OK.

"Why did he tell us he was dead?" asked Rory.

"We were a diversion," said Annabelle, "As long as the Dalek was chasing us, he could work down here." I smiled when I saw he was OK.

"Doctor, can you hear me?" asked River, "What were you doing?"

The explosion of the TARDIS started getting brighter "What's happening?"

"Reality's collapsing," I said, "It's speeding up. Look around the room."

The displays were there mere seconds ago were now gone, "Where did everything go?"

"History is being erased," said Annabelle, "Time is running out."

"Doctor, what were you doing?" asked River, "Tell us! Doctor?"

The Doctor slowly came to, "Big... Bang... Two…"

"The Big Bang," said Rory, "That's the beginning of the universe, right?"

"What, and Big Bang Two is the bang that brings it back?" asked Amy, "Is that what you mean?"

The Doctor gave a small nod, "Oh!" said River.

"What?" asked Amy.

"The TARDIS is still burning," said Annabelle, "It's exploding at every point in history. If you threw the Pandorica into the explosion, right into the heart of the fire…"

"Then what?"

"The light from the Pandorica would explode everywhere at once, just like he said."

"That would work? That would bring everything back?"

"A restoration field, powered by an exploding TARDIS, happening at every moment in history. I don't see how it couldn't."

"Oh, that's brilliant." said River, "I'm surprised you didn't think of it…"

I smiled, "Who says I didn't…" I took my sonic and ran it along the wires, "He's wired the vortex manipulator to the rest of the box."

"Why?" asked Amy.

I looked at Annabelle, River, my uncle and then at Amy, "So we can take it with us… The Doctor, Annabelle and I are going to fly the Pandorica into the heart of the explosion."

River help us get the Pandorica ready for flight. When we were ready we had River get Amy. River walked out of the Pandorica and looked at Amy, "Amy... They want to talk to you."

"So, what happens here? Big Bang Two? What happens to us?" asked Amy.

"We all wake up where we ought to be. None of this ever happens and we don't remember it."

"River... tell me they come back, too."

"They will be the heart of the explosion."

"So?"

"So all the cracks in time will close, but they'll be on the wrong side... Trapped in the never-space, the void between the worlds. All memory of them will be purged from the universe. They will never have been born. Now, please. They wants to talk to you before they go.

"Not to you?"

"He don't really know me yet. Now they never will."

Amy walked into our vision we were all locked in and ready to go, "Hi." she said to us.

"Amy Pond." said The Doctor weakly, "The girl who waited. All night in your garden. Was it worth it?"

"Shut up. Of course it was."

I looked at Amy and said, "You asked us why we were taking you with us and I said..."No reason". I was lying."

"It's not important."

"Yeah, it's the most important thing left in the universe," said Annabelle, "It's why we're doing this. Amy, your house was too big. That big, empty house. And it was just you."

"And Aunt Sharon," said Amy.

"Where were your mom and dad?" Where was everybody who lived in that big house?"

"I lost my Mum and Dad."

"How?" I asked, "What happened to them? Where did they go?"

"I... I don't…" said Amy as she struggled to try to remember what happened to her family

"It's OK," said The Doctor, "Don't panic. It's not your fault.

"I don't even remember."

"There was a crack in time in the wall of your bedroom and it's been eating away at your life for a long time now. Amy Pond, all alone. The girl who didn't make sense. How could we resist?"

"How could I just forget?"

"Nothing is ever forgotten, not really," I said, "But you have to try."

The ground started to shake

The ground shakes

"It's speeding up!" said River.

Amy placed The Doctor's sonic into his pocket then he said, "There's going to be a very big bang. Big Bang Two. Try and remember your family and they'll be there."

"How can I remember them if they never existed?" asked Amy.

"Because... you're special," I said, "That crack in your wall, all that time, the universe was pouring into your head.:

"You brought Rory back," said Annabelle, "You can bring them back, too. You just remember, and they'll be there."

Amy backed away a bit, "YOU won't."

"You'll have your family back," said The Doctor, "You won't need your imaginary friends any more." he laughed weakly, we could see the tears forming in Amy's eyes, "Amy Pond... crying over me, eh? Guess what?"

"What?"

"Gotcha," then the Pandorica closed.

I looked at Annabelle, "Ready?" she nodded and wiped a tear from her eyes. Then I looked at The Doctor, "Ready?"

He nodded, "Let's do this…"

"Launching the Pandorica into the exploding TARIDS in 3... 2... 1..." I press the button on the manipulator and we launched into the sky. As we flew, I saw The Doctor send a message to River via his communicator. It was one word, "Geronimo"

As we flew I held on Annabelle's hand with my left hand and The Doctor's with my right. The G-forces were amazing. Then all of the sudden everything went white. The next thing we knew we were laying on the floor of the control room of the TARDIS. We sat up and The Doctor said, "Oh! OK. We escaped, then. Brilliant!" I Love it when we do that," I rolled my eyes as he examined himself, "Legs, yes. Bow tie, cool. I can buy a fez."

Then all off the sudden we heard The Doctor say, "The beach. The beach is the best. Automatic sand."

"Automatic sand?" asked Amy, "What does that mean?

"It's total automated." said Annabelle.

We stood up and saw the four of us dressed for the beach, "Oh." I said.

"Cleans up the lolly sticks…" said The Past Doctor.

"That's last week when we went to Space Florida, said Present Annabelle.

"We're rewinding," I said, "Our... Our time streams are unraveling and erasing. The cracks are closing." we looked at the monitor and saw the crack closing. Hello, Universe, goodbye, us.

"Amy…" The Present Doctor sighed. Past Amy turned around, "Amy?"

Our timeline rewind more until we appeared in front of the apartment that The Doctor shared with Craig, when the rest of us were trapped in the TARDIS. Amy crossed the street in front of us. "Ah, three weeks ago, when she put the card in the window," said The Doctor. "Amy!" Amy looked up, "I need to tell you something. She can hear us!"

"But if she can hear us…" I said.

Time rewound again. We were on the Byzantium in the forest clearing, "Good luck everyone," said The Past Doctor, "Behave. Do not let that girl open her eyes. And keep watching the forest. Stop those Angels advancing. Amy, later!" he tapped her on the head, "River, going to need your computer." Then, he started off.

We approached Past Amy and The Doctor put his hands on hers, "Amy. you need to start trusting us, it's never been more important."

"But you don't always tell me the truth." she said.

"If we always told you the truth," I said, "We wouldn't need you to trust us."

"Doctor, the crack in my wall, how can it be here?" asked Amy.

"We don't know yet, but we're working it out," said Annabelle. We looked up and saw our past selves looking at River's computer. Annabelle continued, "Now, listen. Remember what we told you when you were seven?"

"What did you tell me?"

The Doctor rested his forehead against hers and said, "No, no... That's not the point. You have to remember." He kissed her on the forehead and then time rewound again.

We found ourselves in Amy's house, "Amelia's house," said The Doctor as he checked his watch, "When she was seven. The night she waited." We went outside and saw little Amelia curled up asleep onto of her suitcase.

I smiled and felt a tear form in my eye. It hurt me that we didn't come back when we said we would, "The girl who waited." I said.

"Come here, you," said The Doctor as he scooped her up and carried her inside. Annabelle picked up her suitcase and I opened the doors for the Doctor.

Once we got Amelia in bed, I tucked her in. The Doctor sat down in the chair next to the bed with Annabelle standing behind him. I sat down on the bed and brushed a stray hair off her face and tucked it behind her ear, "It's funny," I said, "We thought if you could hear us, we could hang on somehow."

"Silly us. Silly old Time Lord and Time Ladies," said The Doctor.

"When you wake up, you'll have a mom and dad," said Annabelle, "And you won't even remember us."

"Well, you'll remember us a little," I said, "We'll be a story in your head."

"But that's OK," said The Doctor, "We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Cos it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it."

I looked at my uncle, "You stole it…"

My uncle looked at me, "I was always going to take it back."

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever…" Then I turned back to Amelia. "You'll dream about that box of ours, Amelia. It'll never leave you."

"Big and little at the same time," said The Doctor, "Brand new and ancient. And the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Woulda had... Never had."

"In your dreams, they'll still be there," said Annabelle, "The Doctor, Teddy, Annabelle and Amy Pond. And the days that never came."

I looked at the crack on Amy's and it started to close, "The cracks are closing. But they can't close properly until we're on the other side. We don't belong here any more."

The Doctor stood up, "I think we should skip the rest of the rewind."

I nooded as I wiped a tear from my eye, "Yeah… I hate reruns…" I turned to Ameila and kissed her on the forehead, "Live well…"

I stood up then Annabelle came over and kiss her on the forehead, "Love Rory."

Then, The Doctor kissed Amelia on the forehead, "Bye bye, Pond."

We looked at each other and we all joined hand and walked into the crack and once again we were consumed by white light.

"Raggedy Man," said Amy's voice, "I remember you and your nieces, and you are all late for my wedding!"

Then all of the sudden we were in the control room of the TARDIS. I could tell by the sound of the engines we were in the process of rematerializing. We looked at each other and we were all dressed for a wedding. The Doctor was wearing a black suit and top hat, with a white tie and tails, he also had a white scarf hanging loosely around his shoulders. Annabelle was wearing a nice TARDIS blue blouse and black dress pants. I was wearing a simple TARDIS blue ankle length dress with short sleeves. I just stood there dumbfounded, "I can't believe that worked…"

"Well, I'm know to have a good idea once and awhile…" said The Doctor.

Just then the TARDIS engines stopped and we heard a knock on the door, " OK, guys. Did I surprise you this time?"

We went to the door, The Doctor opened it and saw Amy in her wedding dress, "Yeah," I said, "We are completely astonished."

"We never expected that to work," said Annabelle.

"How lucky I happened to be wearing this old thing," said The Doctor as we stepped out of the TARDIS.

I rolled my eyes and said to the group, "Hello, everyone. We're Amy's imaginary friends."

The Doctor walked up to a bald headed man, who we learned later was Amy's father, at the head table and shook his hand, "But we came anyway." he said.

Amy was leaning against the TARDIS and she strode over to The Doctor, "You absolutely, definitely may kiss the bride."

The Doctor planted a finger on Amy's puckered lips. "Amelia!" he said. From now on, I shall be leaving the... kissing duties to the brand new Mr. Pond." Rory walked up and The Doctor shook his hand.

"No, I'm not Mr. Pond," said Rory, "That's not how it works."

"Yeah, it is," I said with a knowing smile.

"Yeah, it is."

"All right, everyone," said Annabelle as she walked to the TARDIS, "We'll be right back. We need to move our box." Then she went inside.

I nodded as The Doctor and I walked to the TARDIS, "We're going to need the space." I said the two of us went inside.

Then, The Doctor peeked his head out and looked at Amy, "We only came for the dancing."

Later, Annabelle and I were dancing with Amy to Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" when she started laughing. I turned around and saw my uncle doing the strangest dance I ever saw. It's hard to describe but it involved sticking your arms straight up in the air, and shaking your whole body. Amy laughed and said, "You're terrible. That is embarrassing!"

And the next thing we knew he was teaching the dance to all the children at the reception, "That's it. That's good. Keep it loose." he said.

Amy, Rory, Annabelle and I just watched and laughed…

Latter, us Time Lords were watching Amy and Rory slow dance to James Morrison's "You Give Me Something". The Doctor leaned against a doorway and said, "2,000 years. The boy who waited. Good on you, mate."

I smiled, "Come on… I think its time to head out…"

The Doctor nodded and we headed outside where we parked the TARDIS. As we walked I took out my phone and called my mom, "Hello?" she answered.

"Hi, Mom…" I said with a smile.

"Hi, Teddy… What's wrong?"

I laughed a little, "Nothing's wrong. I'm good, The Doctor's good, Annabelle's good… We just had a long day and I needed to hear your voice…"

"Well, it's good to hear yours too… Will we be seeing all of you for Christmas?"

"We're looking forward to it…"

When the three of us reached the TARDIS, I said, "Mom… we are getting ready to go… I'll talk to you later."

"OK," she said, "I love you… See you soon."

"I love you too, Mom… Bye…"

Then I hung up, as The Doctor got ready to unlock the TARDIS we heard a familiar voice ask, "Did you dance? Well, you always dance at weddings, don't you?"

We turned and saw River Song walking toward us, "You tell me." said The Doctor.

"Spoilers."

The Doctor then handed River her journal back, "The writing's all back, but I didn't peek."

"I made sure of it," said Annabelle.

"Thank you." said River.

The Doctor gave her the vortex manipulator and asked, "Are you married, River?

She put it on and asked , "Are you asking?"

"Yes."

"Yes."

"No, hang on. Did you think I was asking you to marry me, o- o-or asking if you were married?"

"Yes."

"No, but was that 'yes', or 'yes'?"

"Yes."

I shook my head, and looked at her, "River...who are you?"

"You're going to find out very soon now," she said, "And I'm sorry, but that's when everything changes." then she activated the manipulator and disappeared.

"Nah," said The Doctor as we went inside. He tossed his top hat on the hat rack and danced up to the console.

As we started to prepare for take of the door opened and Amy walked in, "Oi! Where are you lot off to?" she looked at The Doctor with a seductive smiled, "We haven't even had a snog in the shrubbery yet."

Rory followed her in and shut the door, "Amy!"

"Shut up... it's my wedding."

"OUR wedding."

"Sorry, you guys," I said, "We shouldn't have snuck away like that. We have a lot of things we need to take car of."

"You all just saved the whole of space and time," said Rory, "Take the evening off. Maybe a bit of tomorrow."

"We'd love to," said Annabelle, "But, Space and time isn't safe yet. The TARDIS exploded for a reason."

"Something drew the TARDIS to this particular date, and blew it up," said The Doctor, as the phone started to ring, "Why? And why now? The Silence, whatever it is, is still out there, and we have to...Excuse me a moment." He picked up the phone, "Hello… Oh! Hello. I'm sorry, this is a very bad line… No, but that's not possible… She was sealed into the Seventh Obelisk… I was at the prayer meeting… Well, no, I get that it's important. An Egyptian goddess loose on the Orient Express…in space! Give us a mo…" he took the phone from his ear and put it on his shoulder. Then he looked at Amy and Rory, "Sorry, something's come up. This will have to be goodbye."

"Yeah, I think it's goodbye," said Amy. She looked at her husband, "Do you think it's goodbye?"

"Definitely goodbye," said Rory.

Amy then headed for the door. She opened it, waved and shouted, "Goodbye! Goodbye." Then she closed the door and walked back to the console.

Us Time Lords all smiled and The Doctor said into the phone, "Don't worry about a thing, Your Majesty. We're on our way."

Annabelle and I took our positions at the console with Amy and Rory and we all held on as The Doctor started up the TARDIS and we headed out on our next adventure…

A/N: Just one note I want it to be know that the episode "The Lodger" happened in this universe but Teddy and Annabelle were stuck in the TARDIS with Amy. Anyway, thanks to everyone that's been reading and reviewing. It really means a lot to me that you all like this story. Keep it up. Let me know what you like and what you don't like. I'm a big boy, I can take your criticism. Now, I'm sure everyone has seen the full trailer for Series 8, if you haven't than what's wrong with you! Anyway, with that said after seeing it I'm thinking about having an older person play Teddy when she regenerates again. So with that in mind, I would love to hear your thoughts on an older woman between 30-50 who you think would be a good choice. I just had an idea but I would love to hear your thoughts. Also, if you haven't be sure to check out my new story, "Liv and Maddie's Adventures in Time and Space."
