The Caretakers

We landed the TARDIS in Clara's living room and she walked in, "So, where we off to?" she asked.

"Clara, you, you look lovely today. Have you had a wash?" asked The Doctor. I rolled my eyes.

"Why are you being nice?"

"Because it works on you."

I stepped over, "Listen, I'm sorry but there's going to be no trip today. But something very important came up and we've got to take care of it. It might take a while.

"What thing?" asked Clara.

"Just a thing," said Annabelle.

"You three are being mysterious, and do you know what means?"

"I'm a man of mystery," said The Doctor.

I rolled my eyes then Clara said, "Hmm. It means that you are a very clever people making the mistake, common to very clever people, of assuming that everybody else is stupid. Where are you going?"

She grabbed the monitor and it switched to a view of the galaxy, "Undercover. Deep cover." said The Doctor.

"Can you do deep cover?"

"What do you mean?"

"Have you seen you?"

"Of course I can do deep cover."

Clara giggled, "Where, the Magic Circle?"

The Doctor snapped his fingers and the doors opened, "I'll see you when I see you."

Clara snapped her fingers and the doors closed, "When's that?"

I snapped my fingers, "When we see you."

"Hmm. Hmm. I'll be sure to have a wash."

"Excellent. I was meaning to bring it up," said The Doctor.

Then Clara left. We didn't like lying to her but the less she knew about what was going on the better.

From Clara's reaction, I could tell she was shocked when The Doctor, Annabelle and I were introduced to the facility of Coal Hill School as the new caretakers. The Doctor was using his normal cover name of John Smith. While Annabelle and I used our names. After the staff meeting everyone left except for us three Time Lords. We were looking at a plan of the school buildings. The Doctor crumpled it into his pocket as Clara came back in, "So, you recognized us, then." asked The Doctor.

"You're wearing a different coats," said Clara.

"But you saw straight through that."

"Deep cover in my school? Why? Where's Atif, what have you done with him?"

"He's fine," said Annabelle, "We Hypnotized him. He thinks he's got the flu. Also a flying car and three wives. It's going to be a rude awakening."

"Is it aliens?" asked Clara, "Oh, my God, is that why you're here? Are there aliens?"

"It's assembly. You'd better get going. Go and worship something," said The Doctor.

"Are there aliens in this school?"

"Listen, it's lovely talking to you, but I've really got to get on. I'm a caretaker now. Look, I've got a brush."

Clara turned to me, "Teddy, are there aliens in this school?"

"Yes, The Doctor, Annabelle and I. Now, go. The walls need sponging and there's a sinister puddle."

Clara looked right at The Doctor, "You can't do this. Teddy and Annabelle can. But you cannot pass yourself off as a real person among actual people."

"I lived among otters once for a month," said The Doctor, "Well, I sulked. Teddy and I, we had this big fight…"

"For the millionth time," I said, "Human beings are not otters!"

"Exactly. It'll be even easier."

"Okay. One question," said Clara, "And you will answer this question. Are the kids safe?"

Annabelle walked up to her friend and said, "No. Nobody is safe. But soon the answer will be yes, everybody is safe, if you let us get our work done. Now, pretend you don't know us. Stay out of our way. The less you know, the better. I'll explain it all later."

"Go and sing with the otters," said The Doctor.

"I hate you," said Clara as she looked right at The Doctor.

"That's fine. That's a perfectly normal reaction."

After Clara left The Doctor, Annabelle and I spit up and started to put devices up all around the school. Once we were all done we headed back to the Caretaker's storeroom where we stored the TARDIS and we started to start our scans. The Doctor was the last one in and he said, "Okay. Now we're in business. Let's see the lie of the land. Time to see what's going on."

We started our scans and a green light filled the console room. Then we heard a female voice call out from outside the TARDIS, "Hello? Oi. What are you doing? Are you in there?"

"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the most dangerous of them all?" said The Doctor. I stopped our scans and the lights went back to normal.

The voice said, "There's been a spillage in Geography, I need some paper towels."

The Doctor stuck his head out of the TARDIS and said, "Can't you read?"

I turned on the outside camera to see who my uncle was talking to and I saw a young black girl. She said, "Course I can read. Read what?"

"The door. It says, Keep Out."

"No, it says, Go Away Humans."

"Oh, so it does. Never lose your temper in the middle of a door sign."

"What was you doing in there? What's that box?"

"The caretaker's box. Every caretaker has their own box."

"It says Police."

"Exactly, there's a policeman in there, in case of emergencies and children. Towels, there, g-g-go."

"What was that green glow? There was a green glow coming from in there. What was it?"

"Of course there was. What's a policeman without a death ray?" said The Doctor. Just then the school bell rang, "Oh, listen, there's the bell. Off you go. Haven't you got shoplifting to go to?"

"I'm going to tell the Headmaster," said the young woman.

"Oh, yes, fine. Well, cut along, you're running out of time."

"For what?"

"Everything. Human beings have incredibly short life spans. Frankly, you should all be in a permanent state of panic. Tick tock, tick tock."

"You're weird."

"Yes, I am. What about you?"

"I'm a disruptive influence."

"Good to meet you."

"And you."

They shook hands then The Doctor said, "Now get lost."

"Okay." the young woman started to leave as Clara came in, "Hello, miss. Love to the Squaddie."

"Sorry, what did you say?" Clara turned and looked at The Doctor, "What was she doing in here?"

"Paper towels," said The Doctor, "Now, I imagine you have many questions. Fire away. I won't answer any of them."

"What were they like?"

"What were who like?"

"The others before me. Did they let you get away with this kind of thing? This school is in danger."

Annabelle and I stepped out of the TARDIS and I said, "Well, it's lucky we're here, then."

"From you three," said Clara.

"Us?"

"You wouldn't be here if there wasn't an alien threat nearby. Your strategy for dealing with it involves endangering this school."

"You don't know that," said Annabelle.

"I don't know anything because you haven't told me anything," said Clara, "which means I wouldn't approve, which means you are endangering this school." The Doctor activated his sonic screwdriver and a green glowing globe hologram appeared, "What's that?"

"It's a scanner. I'm scanning. Why do I keep you around?" asked The Doctor.

"Because the alternative would be developing a conscience of your own. Scanning for what?"

"Any alien technology in this vicinity should show up," I said, "You know. I used to have a teacher exactly like you once."

"You still do," said Clara, "Pay attention." The hologram showed a four legged machine that looked like a wheelchair with an alien sitting in it, "What the hell is it?"

"A Skovox Blitzer," said Annabelle, "One of the deadliest killing machines ever created. Probably homed in here because of artron emissions. You've had enough of them in this area over the years. There's enough explosive in its armory to take out the whole planet."

"Then leave it alone."

"We'd love to but sooner or later it will come out of its hidey-hole and some military idiot will try to attack it."

The Doctor turned off the image, "The world is full of PE teachers."

We went inside the TARDIS and Clara asked, "So, your insanely dangerous plan is?" The Doctor held up a digital wrist watch with an expandable metal band, "A new watch. Tiny bit disappointed."

"This is a very special watch," said The Doctor. He put it on, pressed a button and disappeared.

"Doctor? Oi! Ow! Did you just flick my nose? You're invisible. Ha, ha! Oh, my God, that's incredible."

"Correct. I am invisible and I am incredible," said The Doctor's voice, "It's simply a matter of reversing light waves. Hang on, I'm coming back."

"All right, where are you?" asked Clara.

The Doctor reappeared, "So, we give the Blitzer a tiny whiff of non-threatening alien tech, We lead it back here, but we don't want it to scan us, hence invisible."

"So you're, you're leading the thing here? To a school? My, my school?"

"My school?" I said, "Oh, that is telling. This is the only suitably empty place in the area. we've set up a circle of time mines around the school. Chronodyne generators. Bit unstable." I threw one of our devices to Clara.

"We switch them on, the Blitzer gets sucked into a big old time vortex, billions of years into the future," said Annabelle.

"It's dead easy. Tiny bit boring. I'll need a book and a sandwich," said The Doctor.

"And me," said Clara, "You're not doing this without me."

She gave me back the device and I said, "We don't need you this time. We'll see you tomorrow. We'll go somewhere nice."

"Ancient Egypt," said The Doctor, "Crocodilopolis. They worship a big crocodile there, so the name is a useful coincidence. Go and canoodle with your boyfriend. Come on. I wasn't born yesterday. Far from it."

"You did recognize him," said Clara.

"Possibly reminded me of a certain dashing young time traveler."

"Oh, of course you recognized him. I. Sorry. Stupid. I, I underestimated you."

"It's easily done. There's a lot to estimate."

"And you, you like him?"

"Yes, I like him very, very much. Go home and canoodle. Doctor's orders. Come on."

"Just this once, I'm doing what I'm told."

"Oh, sing hosanna."

"Ah. So easy."

I was a little surprised when The Doctor said that he approved of Clara's boyfriend. With Danny being a solider, I didn't think he would like him. But, I didn't press the point because we had a lot of work to do.

That night, The Doctor, Annabelle and I walked out the main door of the school. The Doctor turned his sonic on to find the Blitzer and he said, "And we're off". We tracked it to an old building, "Home, sweet home." We turned on our invisibility watches and head inside. "Where are you, my sleeping beauty?" After a few moments we spotted the Blizter, "Gotcha. Let's dance!" Then we started to run back to the school. We knew it would be able to pick up our footprints.

We ran inside the school, the Blizter was close behind us. We ran into the auditorium and turned off the watches. We had a circle of chairs set up with time mines on them. They were all red instead of green. Which meant that something had knocked them offline, "What? Red? Red. No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no!"

We were about to see what was wrong when the Blizer entered, "Range one point four nine scan complete problem… problem…"

Annabelle spoke up, " Listen. We're unarmed. We're peaceful. Don't you understand? We, we know that you shouldn't be on this planet but We can help you with that. We…"

"Problem solution destroy," said the Blitzer.

Just then Clara's boyfriend, Danny walked in, "I want a word with you."

"Get back!" shouted The Doctor.

The Blitzer turned to Danny, "Problem solution destroy."

The Blizter started shooting. Danny ducked and threw himself to the floor. I then saw he was holding one of our chrondyne generators. It slid into the circle of chairs and turned green. Then Danny picked up a chair to attack the Blitzer, "No! Get away from me!"

The Doctor used his sonic and a temporal vortex appeared. The chair Danny was holding was sucked into the Vortex and The Blitzer was started to be pulled toward along with Danny, "Temporal disrupt," anounced the Blitzer, "Warning. Warning. Temporal failure."

Just then Clara came in and grabbed Danny,"No! No, no, no, no! Doctor, stop! Doctor!"

"Warning system failure. Abort. Abort."

The Blizter went into the vortex then the Doctor turned if off. He spotted the generator Danny picked up and said, "Oh, oh, well done, PE, brilliant work. What's this? A chronodyne generator? I'll just deactivate that, shall I? I've got a swimming certificate so that qualifies me to meddle with higher technology. Never mind that some people are actually trying to save the planet. Oh, no. There's only room in my head for cross-country and the offside rule."

"Danny, what are you doing here?" asked Clara.

"I was checking up on them," said Danny," They've been up to something, fiddling with the electric, but what the? No. What? Did you see that thing? Tell me you saw that thing."

"I saw the thing, yeah," Clara looked at us, "Are we safe? Is the planet safe? It's gone?"

"For the moment," said Annabelle, "But the thing is the chronodyne generators have to be precisely aligned to generate the vortex. But the sergeant here, he went and moved one."

"But the chronodyne worked. It's gone."

I took out my sonic and did a quick scan, "But not far enough. The vortex will open here again, but not in a billion years."

"Then when?"

"Seventy four hours. Three days? "

"Three days to think of something new because now it knows what to expect," said The Doctor, "Now it has scanned me and my nieces and it will kill us on sight, thanks to PE here."

"Clara, why are you talking to them like that?" asked Danny, "Why are you using words like chronodyne? Was that thing a space thing? Oh. Oh, my God, you're from space. You're a spacewoman. You said you were from Blackpool."

The Doctor started to do some figuring in his notebook, "It's a play!" said Clara, "For the summer fete."

"It's a what?" asked Annabelle.

"Yes, it's a play. We are rehearsing a play. Shh, shh, shh, shh. A surprise play. And, er, you see, the vortex thing is, is a lighting effect. Very clever. And that thing is, is one of the kids. In fancy dress. Really, really good fancy dress."

"Clara," I said.

"How stupid do you think I am?" asked Danny.

"I'm willing to put a number on it," said The Doctor.

"I'm not a moron, Clara. And they are not caretakers. He's your dad. Your space dad. And they are your space sisters."

"Oh, genius. That is, that is really, really brilliant reasoning. How can you think that I'm her dad when we both look exactly the same age?"

"We do not look the same age," said Clara.

"I was being kind," said The Doctor, "Right, I'm going to hypnotize him. I'm going to erase his memory. "

"Doctor, stop!"

"Tiny little brain, only take a moment."

"He's my boyfriend."

"Well, I'll try not to erase the whole thing. I'll leave the bits that."

"He's my boyfriend. I thought you'd figured this out."

"Him?"

"Yes, him."

"No, he's not."

"Yes, he is," I said, "That is Clara's boyfriend."

"Yes, I am," said Danny."

"But he's a PE teacher," said The Doctor, "You wouldn't go out with a PE teacher. It's a mistake. You've made a boyfriend error."

"I am not a PE teacher. I am a maths teacher."

"You're a soldier. Why would you go out with a soldier? Why not get a dog or a big plant?"

"Because I love him!" said Clara.

"Why would you say that?" asked The Doctor, "Is this part of the surprise play?"

"There is no surprise play."

"Oh, it's a roller coaster with you tonight, isn't it? What about the handsome one, the one with the bow tie?"

"Who? Adrian? No, no, no. He's just a friend and not my type."

"Clara, are you going to explain any of this? Who are they?"

"The Doctor, Teddy and Annabelle are…"

"Go on." I said.

"Yes, explain," said Danny, "Who are they? Why have you never mentioned them?"

"Because they're aliens," said Clara.

"Er, are you an alien?"

"No, no, no, I'm still from Blackpool. Me and The Doctor and his nieces, we travel through time and space."

"Exhibit A," I said as us three Time Lords stepped up to the stage and pulled back the curtain to show the TARDIS.

"It's called a TARDIS," said Clara as she walked up on stage, "but it's disguised as an old police phone box."

The Doctor said to her softly, "It's bigger on the inside."

"And it's bigger on the inside than the outside."

Annabelle opened the TARDIS doors, "Voila."

"And we travel the universe in it," said Clara.

Danny leaned in, looked around, looked at the outside, then back inside. "And what about that thing? Did you bring that here?"

"No," I said, "We're going to protect you from that thing."

"You said it was coming back."

"Yes, it is coming back, thanks to you," said Annabelle.

"This is a school," said Danny, "We have to evacuate, call the Army."

"And that is the most dangerous thing right there," said The Doctor as he closed the TARDIS doors.

"Are you sure hypnotizing not on the menu?" asked Annabelle.

"Yes." said Clara.

"But we need to get help," said Danny, "This is an emergency."

"Look, take him away," said The Doctor, "Shut him up, shut him down. Up or down, it doesn't matter to me. We've got a lot of work to do. Again."

"Will you be okay?" asked Clara.

"Why wouldn't I be okay? I was fine till you two blundered in."

"Am I just being ignored?" asked Danny.

Clara had to help Danny down the stairs from the stage, "Come on, Danny. It's all right, it's. Come on, it's all fine. You'll be okay. Let's er, get those legs moving. That's it, down those stairs. Yep, that's it. This can all be explained and everything will be fine."

"And when this is all over, you can finish the job," said The Doctor.

"How do you mean?" asked Clara.

"Well, you've explained me to him. You haven't explained him to me."

We moved the TARDIS back to the Caretaker's storeroom and we started to work on our next plan to take care of the Blitzer.

The next day, we were working our device when Clara came in, "Afternoon," said The Doctor, "Thanks for keeping out of my way. You haven't brought Dave with you, I hope."

"His name's Danny," said Clara, "And no, I haven't. I've er, I explained it all to him. He gets it. He took it really well."

"Pass me that synestic," I asked Clara.

She handed me the tool and said, "So, when the Blitzer comes back, are you going to catch him with that?"

"Yes but it's be a long, complicated job," said Annabelle, "It's going to take us at least twenty four hours."

"Even longer if people keep talking to us, so do keep going," said The Doctor.

"You hush," I said.

"If it comes back Thursday night, are you sure about that?" asked Clara, "Cos you said the chronodyne is unstable."

"If you want bother someone, go and bother PE." said The Doctor.

"He's a math teacher," I said.

"That's a shame, I like maths."

"Not a soldier," said Clara.

"Interesting," said The Doctor. Then The Doctor said to Annabelle and me telepathically, "PE is in here… Clara must have took one of our invisibility watches."

"He's a math teacher," said Annabelle.

"What is?" asked Clara.

"I'm bored. Let's go somewhere fun. What do you say? Do you want to see the Thames frozen over? Oh, those frost fairs." The Doctor went around the console and started to set the controls.

"Sounds good to me," I said, "I need a break."

The Doctor started the TARDIS. But Clara stopped the dematerialization, "But you can't. The Skovox thing."

"Clara, It's a time machine," said Annabelle, "We can get back right away, like we always do on your dates. Just make sure you don't get yourself a tan or anything, or lose a limb."

"I don't think we should, not this time."

"You've never said no before," I asked, "Not even in the middle of dinner. Remember when you had to eat two meals in a row?"

"I just think, with the school in danger" said Clara. Just then Danny appeared inside the TARDIS, "Danny, why are you?

"They already know I'm here," said Danny, "That's why they were talking like that. They were being clever."

"Now you mention it, being a Time Lord," said The Doctor, "I can feel a light shield aura when it's right next to me."

"Oh ho, ho. Time Lord? Might have known."

"Might have known what?" I asked.

"Well, the accent's good, but you can always spot the aristocracy. It's in the, the attitude."

"Excuse me?"

"Danny." said Clara.

"Now, Time Lords, do you salute those?" asked Danny.

"Definitely not," said The Doctor.

"Ah. Sir!" said Danny, as he saluted.

Normally, I would like being saluted but there was something about Danny's attitude that I didn't like. "And you do not call me, sir" said The Doctor.

"As you wish, sir. Absolutely, sir."

"And, if you are going to disrespect my family like that you can get out of our TARDIS, RIGHT NOW!" I shouted as I headed to the door to let him out. The Doctor and Annabelle were close behind.

"Immediately, Ma'am!" said Danny, as he moved to the door.

"Teddy, this is stupid, this is unfair."

"One thing, Clara," said Danny, "I'm a soldier, guilty as charged. You see them? They are officers."

"I am not an officer!" said The Doctor.

"I might be," said Annabelle.

"Annabelle," I scolded.

"I'm the one who carries you out of the fire," said Danny, "They are the ones who lights it."

"Out. Now," said The Doctor.

"Right away, sir. Straight now?"

"Yes."

"Am I dismissed?"

"Yes, you are!" I shouted.

"That's them," said Danny, "Look at them, right now. That's who they are." Then Danny walked out.

Once Danny was gone, Annabelle said, "All things considered, I think that went quite well."

I rolled my eyes. Then Clara walked out of the TARDIS. We followed her out and heard her call to Danny, "Danny, it's not time to go home yet. It's parents' evening." Then Clara left to follow him.

"Humans. I never learn," said The Doctor.

We turned to go back in the TARDIS, when we heard a female voice, "What's in the box?" we turned and saw the young black girl The Doctor was talking to the day before, "It's not really a policeman, is it?"

"You want to know what's in that box?" asked The Doctor, "I'll tell you what's in that box. It's a time machine," He opened the door, "It also travels in space. And it usually contains a man and his two nieces who just want to get on with their work of preventing the end of the world, but keeps being interrupted by boring little humans."

"Cool. So, that's really a spaceship?" sad the girl as she took a step inside.

I grabbed her by the collar and pulled her back, "He meant what he said," I told her, "We are trying to save this planet."

"End of the world for me tonight, whatever you do. Parents' evening."

"Is your name really Disruptive Influence?" asked Annabelle.

"Courtney Woods," said the girl, "Can I go in space?"

"We'll let you know," I said as I escorted her out of the storeroom, "We may have a vacancy. But not right now."

Once Courtney was gone The Doctor said, "Two days. We can do it." Then we headed back into the TARDIS.

We went back to work and a few minutes later. I said, "Ugh… I need a break… I'm going to get some coffee. You two want anything?"

"I'll take one," said Annabelle.

"Uncle Theta?"

"I'm good" he said.

I headed down the steps to the galley when the scanner we were working on started to beep, "No, no, no. No! No, no, no, no, no!" said The Doctor. He grabbed the device and ran out of the TARDIS to get Clara.

We saw her in the gymnasium sitting at a table having a parent teacher conference. We signaled for her to come out as quick as she could. Her and Danny both followed us outside said and she asked, "What's happening?"

"Clara, the vortex is opening," I said.

"You said Thursday night. Right, hall, quick," said Danny.

"PE, shut up. Clara, it'll scan the area," said The Doctor, "If it gets to parents' evening, it'll kill them all."

"We've got to evacuate."

"Shut up!" I shouted at him.

"Quickly. What do I do?" asked Clara.

"It'll be here any second. Get to the hall," said The Doctor.

I handed her my sonic screwdriver, "Give it some squirts of helicon energy, setting number forty one."

"But, no more than three seconds each, random pulses," said Annabelle, "Distract it, then you lead it away from the hall, give us two minutes."

"Then what?" asked Clara.

"Just run straight to the TARDIS," I said.

"But your gadget isn't ready yet," said Danny, "Twenty four hours, you said." he pointed at Annabelle.

"Yes, well, I've revised that down to two minutes," she said, "Probably. Clara, go."

"On my way," said Clara, as she left.

"You're using her like a decoy?" asked Danny, once she was gone.

"No, not like a decoy. As a decoy," I said.

"Don't they teach you anything at stupid school?" said The Doctor.

"Well, is there anything I can do?"

"Yes," said Annabelle, "Yes, and this is very, very important. Leave us alone!"

We went back to the Caretaker's storeroom and got the device working as quickly as possible. We were almost done when we saw Clara run in the room and the door explode open a few seconds later.

"Destroy. Destroy," we heard the Blitzer say.

"Doctor, now! It's got to be now!" said Clara.

"Twenty seconds," said The Doctor as he and I strapped the device onto Annabelle's back and made some final adjustments.

"Destroy. Destroy," said the Blitzer as it opened fire on Clara.

"Doctor!" she shouted as she dodged the weapons fire and made it to us.

"Am I green?" asked Annabelle, "Am I green?"

"You're green!" I said .

She spoke into a microphone attached to the device, "Stop! Skovox Blitzer!"

"Awaiting orders," said the Blitzer.

"Superior Skovox Artificer. Analyse stop analyse stop."

"Superior recognised. Pattern one one oh, Orders orders."

"Why's it listening to you?" asked Clara.

"We've tricked it into thinking I'm its general," said Annabelle, "Initiate input. Commence shutdown protocol. No conflict. Conclusion?"

"Problem solution," said the Blitzer.

"Conclusion. "

"Final input code missing. Emergency terminate. Initiate self-destruct in nine eight," The Blitzer's eyes turned from blue to red.

"The input code!" said The Doctor, "I forgot the final input code!" The Doctor quickly started tapping on the keypad on the device.

"Seven six five"

"Do it now!" shouted Clara.

"We need time," I said, "Distract it, Clara!"

"Me? What can I do?"

The Blizter started counting down, "Three two one."

"Oi, Skovox. Over here," called Danny's voice. He turned off the invisibility watch he was still wearing. Then, he ran and somersaults over the Blitzer.

"Under attack," announced the Blitzer as it opened fire on Danny. But, it never hit him. When he landed he ran behind us and to Clara.

"Ready!" anounced The Doctor,

"Artificer Artificer," said Annabelle, "Stop. Confirm stop override final input code."

"Code accepted," said the Blitzer, "Abort self-destruct. Orders accepted Stop stop stop." then the Blitzer powered down.

Clara hugged Danny and said, "Oh, my God! Oh, my God, you were amazing! Oh, my God, you were so brilliant."

"Well, yeah, I was okay, wasn't I?" said Danny, "I was behind you every step of the way. Had to make sure you were safe." He looked at us three Time Lords, "You okay?"

The three of us looked at each other, "Yeah, we're okay," said The Doctor.

"Just okay?" asked Clara.

"It's all right, it doesn't matter," said Danny, "I don't need them to like me. It doesn't matter if they like me or hate me, I just need to do exactly one thing for you." Danny looked right as us, "Am I right?"

We nodded, "Yes." I said.

"What? What one thing?" asked Clara.

"I need to be good enough for you," said Danny, "That's why they're angry. Just in case I'm not."

"He, er, he did just save the whole world."

"Yeah, yeah." said Annabelle as we turned and looked at the deactivated Blizter, "Good start."

A little while later, us three Time Lords figured the best way to dispose of the Blizter was to set adrift in space. Clara need to get back to parents night so we decided to take Courtney on a short trip.

The three of us Time Lords pushed the Blitzer out of the TARDIS and watched it drift away, " Farewell, Skovox Blitzer," said The Doctor, as the four of us stood in the doorway "Have a nice war." he looked down at Courtney and said, "So, Courtney Woods, impressed yet?"

Courtney was holding on to the doorframe for dear life, "Actually, I'm feeling a bit ill."

I nodded, "I understand it can be a bit overwhelming. But look. The Olveron Cluster. A million stars, a hundred million inhabited planets."

Courtney gagged and ran inside. Then we heard the sound of Courtney throwing up on the console room floor.

I put my hand to my forehead, and The Doctor said, "Ah, yes. There has been a spillage."

"I'm not cleaning it up," said Annabelle.
