AN: I reposted this chapter because of changes I'm making to this story.

Death in Heaven

The Cybermen stopped and people were just walking around them, "Look at them!" said Aunt Missy, "My boys."

"Cybermen in broad daylight?" asked The Doctor, "You think people won't notice?"

People were taking selfies and pictures of the Cybermen. Aunt Missy took her hat off and dropped it on the ground in front of one of the Cybermen. "Photos with the big metal men, one pound," she said. The Doctor, Annabelle and I looked around confused at what was going on, "Oh, honey!" said Aunt Missy. She pulled us over to her and she showed us the screen of her device. There were pictures of people with Cybermen, "New York. Paris. Rome. Marrakesh. Brisbane. Glasgow. Denver. Everywhere. Anywhere. Me and my boys. We're going viral."

She was going to take as selfie, when Osgood from UNIT, came up to us, "Would you like me to take a picture? Sorry, selfies are never as good, are they? And you're having a lovely moment. Hang on!" She grabbed the device out of Aunt Missy's hands.

"No, just..." Aunt Missy started to say. But The Doctor and Annabelle quickly grabbed Missy's arms.

"Nice bow tie," I said.

"Bow ties are cool. Big smiles, and now!" Just then everyone who was just taking selfies pulled guns and a bunch of soldiers came out of nowhere with guns and they surrounded the Cybermen.

Just then we hear a female voice say, "Afternoon," It was Kate Stewart, "You've picked a lovely day for it. My, don't you look shiny." She looked over at the Doctor, "Haircut?"

"Bit of a trim," he said.

"Might want to do your roots. The woman in purple."

"Yes, ma'am," said a solider. Then a couple of them came up and held onto Aunt Missy.

Then Kate turned back to the Cybermen, "Kate Stewart. Divorcee, mother of two, keen gardener, outstanding bridge player. Also Chief Scientific Officer, Unified Intelligence Taskforce, who currently have you surrounded."

"Human weaponry is not effective against Cyber technology," said one of the Cybermen.

"Sorry, you left this behind on one of your previous attempts," Kate dropped an old fashioned Cyberman head on the ground, "So now that I have your attention, welcome to the only planet in the universe where we get to say this. They're on the payroll." she said as nodded her head toward us.

"We are?" asked Annabelle.

"Well, technically."

"How much?"

"Shush," said Kate.

"Annabelle…" I said.

Kate looked at the Cybermen, "Any questions?"

The Cybermen put a fist to their chests. Stomped their feet and stomped their feet again. Rockets started to fire in their feet., "Back, back, everyone, back!" said one of the solders. We moved back. Then, the Cybermen flew away.

Then, Osgood said, "Oh, my God! Is it supposed to do that?" We looked up and saw each segment on the dome on top of St. Paul's open up, "Is that new?"

"A sun roof on St Paul's?" I said, "Yes, I'd say that was new."

"There's going to be mass panic," said Kate, "Everyone in London can see that."

Just then a bunch more Cybermen flew out. Then, The Doctor said, "Everyone in London just clapped and went whee. Hush, I'm trying to count."

"87," said Osgood, "I think. OCD."

"91," said Aunt Missy, "Queen of evil."

"How could St. Paul's be full of 91 Cybermen and nobody noticed?" asked Kate.

"Dimensional engineering," I said, "One space folded inside another. Bigger on the inside," I turned and looked at Aunt Missy, "Easy if you're a Time Lady."

"Mostly deploying south," said Osgood, "a smaller number east."

"Yep, but one straight up," said Annabelle, as we looked at the lone Cyberman hovering high over St. Paul's.

"So 91 isn't a coincidence?"

"Of course it isn't.," she said as she took Aunt Missy's device from Osgood.

"Osgood?" asked Kate, "91. Explain."

"91 areas of significant population density in the British Isles," said Osgood.

Annabelle brought up a map of British Isles with each of the 91 places marked, and The Doctor said, "That's one Cyberman for every city and major town. It's happening everywhere, all over the world, right now."

"Sweet planet, this," said Aunt Missy, "I think I might keep it."

"One Cyberman per city. What could they hope to accomplish?" asked Kate.

"Doctor!" said Osgood, as she pointed up.

Just then the Cyberman explode and a dark cloud started to fill the sky, "Has it exploded?"

"More than that," said Aunt Missy, "Cybermen don't just blow themselves up for no good reason, dear; they're not human."

"If it's not exploding, what's it doing?" I asked.

"Pollinating. Falling like rain into the cracks of the Earth. The dead are coming home, my dear niece. All shiny and new. In 24 hours the human race as you know it will cease to exist."

"What are you doing?" asked The Doctor, "Explain. Tell me now."

Just then a solider came up to Aunt Missy and shot her in the neck with a tranquillizer dart, "Oh! That was nice. Must do it again." A couple of soldiers caught her as she fell to the ground.

"No. No, no, no, no, I need to talk to her! We need her awake," said The Doctor.

Then, the solider started to head toward The Doctor and Annabelle switched into solider mode. She grabbed ahold of the solider with the tranquilizer gun by the arm, flipped the woman onto her back, and pinned her down to the ground. Annabelle looked right at Kate, "That was the stupidest thing you could have ever done! I could have killed this woman! You are damn lucky that I showed restraint!"

"Annabelle, release," I said.

Annabelle let the woman up, then Kate said, "I'm sorry. In the event of an alien incursion on this scale, protocols are in place. Your co-operation is to be ensured and your uncle's unreliability assumed. He has a history."

"You need to update your protocols," said Annabelle.

"Noted."

"You don't need to worry about him with us around," I said.

"Good, shall we go?" asked Kate.

"What about Clara and The TARDIS?" asked Annabelle, "They are both still in St. Paul's"

"We'll get them out,"

"Lead the way," said The Doctor, "But, there is something very important that needs to be done."

"What's that?" asked Kate.

"We need to guard the graveyards."

We were taken to a UNIT base and to a hanger. We waited while they brought the TARDIS and loaded it onto a plane. Kate told us they were unable to gain access to the building to search for Clara but they were able to get the TARDIS out. She promised us the moment that Clara was found she would be brought to the base. We reluctantly boarded the plane without her.

We were led into a conference room, "Where are we going?" asked The Doctor, "Cloudbase?"

"You mean the Valiant?" asked Kate.

"Cloudbase was Thunderbirds," said Osgood.

"Too conspicuous. We need your location concealed, not advertised. From now on you're a moving target."

I smiled when I saw a painting of the Brigadier on the wall, "One of my biggest regrets was I never got to meet your father, Kate."

Just then a man walked up and saluted us, "Sir. Ma'am. Miss."

Annabelle and I saluted back but The Doctor said, "Oh, don't do that. You look like you're self-concussing, which would explain all of military history, now I think about it."

"Colonel Ahmed, sir. Privileged to meet all three you."

"Love your outfit, Colonel Ahmed. Are you in the Scouts? Are you a Man Scout? I didn't know they had those." Said The Doctor as he walked away.

I rolled my eyes and we followed The Doctor to get some tea. "It was Captain Scarlet," said Colonel Ahmed to Osgood.

"Sorry?" she said.

"Not Thunderbirds."

"Oh God, so it was,"

"My confidence is growing every minute," said The Doctor, as he got his tea.

"The President and Vice President are on board," said Kate into a phone.

"Mind you, me and Sylvia Anderson, you've never seen a foxtrot like it. Hang on a second. The President? We don't want Americans bobbing around the place," said The Doctor as we sat down at the table. The Doctor sat at the head. I sat to his left and Annabelle on his right, "They'll only start praying."

"Not the President of America, sir. The President of Earth," said Col. Ahmed.

"There isn't one," I said.

"There is now."

"The incursion protocols have been agreed internationally," said Kate, "In the event of full-scale invasion, an Earth President is inducted immediately, with complete authority over every nation state. There was only one practical candidate."

I watched as my uncle dropped cube after cube of sugar in his tea and I shook my head and started to take a sip of my tea, "That's your answer for everything, isn't it?" said The Doctor, "Vote for an idiot."

"I wouldn't say that about your eldest niece."

I nearly spit out my tea, "What?! I was named President of Earth?!"

"We figured that since you were raised by humans you would be the best choice of the three of you," said Kate, "You're the Commander in Chief of every army on Earth. Every world leader is currently awaiting your instructions. You are the Chief Executive Officer of the human race. Any questions?"

"Yeah, you said Vice President too," I said, "Who's my Vice-President?"

"The Doctor, of course."

"Fine with me," said The Doctor, "I would make a rubbish President," as he took a sip of his tea.

"Can I be Secretary of Defense?" asked Annabelle.

I rolled my eyes then the Just then the pilot came on the PA, "This is your captain speaking. Please prepare for take-off."

Once we were in flight. The Doctor, Annabelle and I went down to the cargo hold. Osgood was working on Aunt Missy's device while, Aunt Missy was still asleep. We had the doctors wake her up. When her eyes opened The Doctor asked her, "Why are you still alive?"

"You three saved me," said Aunt Missy.

"We saved Gallifrey," I said.

"Yes, Gallifrey too, I suppose." Aunt Missy looked at The Doctor, "There's always collateral damage with you and me. It's our Paris."

"Gallifrey's lost in another dimension," said Annabelle.

"Yes and no."

"Meaning?" asked The Doctor.

"Yes, it's in another dimension," said Aunt Missy, "No, it's not lost."

"You know where it is?" I asked.

"Yep! You know the best part about knowing?" Then she whispered, "Not telling you three."

Just then Col. Ahmed said over the PA, "Madam President, ma'am, We're ready for you up here."

"We're on our way," I said.

"Thank you, Madam President."

"Remember all those years when all you wanted to do was to rule the world?" asked The Doctor, "All you had to do was be nice like her… and they would have given it to you…"

The Doctor, Annabelle and I walked over to Osgood and she said to us, "Oh, er, it's her little device thingy. I thought there might be useful information on it. Who is she?"

"You'd never believe me if we told you," said Annabelle.

"Cos I thought she might be the Master, regenerated into female form?" She looked at The Doctor, "Your childhood friend, responsible for a number of previous incursions."

"That was fairly quick," said The Doctor.

"We do have files on all our ex-prime ministers. She wasn't even the worst," Osgood looked at me, "Teddy, there's something nobody's talking about."

"What?" I asked.

"The clouds caused by the exploding Cybermen, they haven't dispersed. They're still there. In fact, they've expanded and are covering almost all the land masses. We're all looking at the graveyards. Maybe we should be looking up?" The three of us looked at each other. Then Osgood asked, "What do you think?"

"All of time and space?" said The Doctor, as we headed back up to the main part of the plane.

"Sorry?"

"Just something for your bucket list," I said with a smile. I heard Osgood take puff from her inhaler as we left.

When we got back to the conference room. We sat down this time with me at the head of the table, and Kate started the briefing. We watched as images of graveyards played on the news, "Localized rain in the cemeteries has resulted in what can only be described as disturbances to the soil," said the news reader, "Extraordinary eyewitness accounts are claiming that silver creatures are climbing from the graves."

"These scenes are being repeated everywhere," said Kate, "Every cemetery, every mortuary, every funeral home, every hospital, the dead are returning to life as Cybermen."

"The public are being advised to stay away from all cemeteries."

"We've done heat scans of some of the cemeteries and, in each case only a handful of Cybermen have so far emerged. But every individual burial site is active."

"Active?" asked Col. Ahmed

"Hatching," said The Doctor.

"More are coming. Potentially millions," said Kate.

"So the rain caused all that in just a few hours?" said Col. Ahmed.

"It wasn't rain, Man Scout," said The Doctor, as he stood up, "It was pollen. Cyber-pollen. Every tiny particle of a Cyberman contains the plans to make another Cyberman. All it has to do is to make a contact with compatible living organic matter and bang! Full conversion."

"But if they have learned how to convert the dead…" I said, as I looked up at a monitor that showed Aunt Missy in the cargo hold, "That's what she was doing. That's what 3W was for. She created an all-new paranoia among the super-rich about dying. She exploited the wealth and the mortal remains of vulnerable people so she could create a whole new race of Cybermen. Cybermen who can recruit corpses."

"Throw away your guns, Colonel, it's all over," said Annabelle, "How can you win a war against an enemy that can weaponized the dead?"

"They're not attacking, apart from isolated incidents," said Col. Ahmed, "They're just wandering about."

"They're newborns. Give them time," said Annabelle as she stood up she walked over to Kate, "Why were you there this morning? Why were you already attacking?"

"Been investigating 3W for a while, then we got a tip-off," said Kate.

"From a woman with a Scottish accent," said Col. Ahmed.

"Can't play to the gallery unless there's a gallery, and here we are," said The Doctor.

I looked up at the screen and saw Aunt Missy looking up at the camera and sticking her tongue out at us, "Dead bodies don't have minds, of course," I said, "but she's been upgrading dying minds to a hard drive for a long time. So she upgrades the hardware, and then she updates the software."

"What do you mean, a long time? How long?" asked Kate.

"Well, she must have a TARDIS somewhere, so as long as she likes. The past, the future..."

"How long, Teddy?"

"How long has the human race had a concept of an afterlife?"

"Turns out the afterlife is real, and it's emptying," said The Doctor, "Every graveyard on planet Earth is about to burst its banks."

A little while later the plane started to shake, I sat down in my seat. Kate went over to The Doctor, "Mr. Vice-President, you need to get back in your seat."

"I don't like being the vice-president," said The Doctor as he picked up a flower out of the arrangement in front of the Brigadier's portrait, "People keep saluting. I'm never going to salute back." Then, he took a big sniff of it.

"Do you know, that was always my dad's big ambition, to get you to salute him just once."

"He should've asked."

The Doctor looked out a window, "Doctor, what are you looking at?" asked Kate.

"The clouds. Still there. So what else have they got?"

Just then a Cyberman appeared in the window, "Oh, dear Lord!" said Kate.

"There's a Cyberman out there on the fuselage," said The Doctor.

"But on the plus side, it's not turbulence," said Annabelle.

I looked up at the screen that showed the cargo hold and Aunt Missy, her guards and Osgood were missing, "She's out," I said as I stood up, "Who let her out?"

The Doctor, Annabelle and I rushed down to the cargo hold. When we got there we started to look around. Then, I heard The Doctor step on something that sounded like glass. We looked down and saw Osgood's broken glasses. We knelt down and looked at them. Just then we hear Aunt Missy say, "Oh, she was really scared. It's classic." We looked up and saw her standing next to the TARDIS, "Have you got any more friends I can play with?" The plane started to shake as Aunt Missy walked up to us, "Oh, o-o-oh. Ask me."

"Shut up!" I said.

She put her hands on her hips, "Ask me! Come on, you know you want to. You want to know what my plan is." She walked around us, "You'll be surprised. I've got a gift for you three. You know, I've been up and down your timeline, meeting all those silly people who died to keep you three alive. And you know what I worked out? What you three really need."

"For what?" asked Annabelle.

"To know that you lot are just like me!" Just then the outside phone started to ring on the TARDIS, "Oh, and now it begins. Doctor, I do believe you're on call." We ran to the TARDIS, "Miss Oswald expects. Who else but the girl who's got your number? Whoops!"

Just then it dawned on us, "It was you!" said The Doctor.

"You were the woman in the shop?" I asked. Aunt Missy was the one who gave Clara the number for the TARDIS.

"Computer helpline, love," said Aunt Missy, "That's the one. Best helpline in the universe."

"You put us together," said Annabelle.

"I kept you together," said Aunt Missy. I knew what she meant she was the one who put the ad in the paper when we were in London just after The Doctor regenerated.

"Why?" asked The Doctor.

"Cos she's perfect, innit? The control freak and the man who should never be controlled. You'd go to hell if she asked. And she would. The phone's ringing, Doctor. Can you hear that? Now that is the sound of your chain being yanked. Heel, Doctor!" We opened the phone door and Aunt Missy imitated Clara, "Help me, Doctor. Help me. Help me, Doctor."

"Clara?" said the Doctor as the three of us shared the phone.

"Doctor. With Danny," said Clara.

"Danny's dead, Clara," I said.

"Not yet. Not quite. But he wants to be."

"Clara..." said Annabelle, "Clara?"

"He's a Cyberman," said Clara, "Danny's a Cyberman. And he's crying. He feels it. He's crying."

"Clara," I said, "Whatever he wants you to do, don't do it. Just don't do it!"

"It's in his chest. He says it's an inhibitor. It can delete emotion or something."

"I know what it does," said The Doctor, "If you turn it on, he'll become a Cyberman."

"He's already a Cyberman," said Clara.

"Not yet, he isn't."

"He's hurting because I hurt him and he wants it to stop."

"If you stop the pain and he'll kill you!" I said.

"Look, are you lot going to help me, because I can't do this alone," said Clara.

"We're not going to help you commit suicide."

"Look, the TARDIS can home in on this call, right? Either you help me, or you leave me alone."

"Clara?" asked Annabelle, "Clara, no..."

Just then Kate came in, "The Cybermen are in. The plane's going down."

"Oh, great. It's the daughter one. Do you like her? I like her." Aunt Missy pressed a button on a device on her wrist and the plane shifted. We all grabbed on to overhead straps to keep standing up. Then, hatch on the plane blew open and Kate was sucked out!

"Why did you do that?" I shouted, "You didn't have to do that!"

"Oh, don't be so selfish. I'm going to miss her, too. In fact, you know what? Just for that, I'm leaving," Aunt Missy then spoke into her wrist device, "Boys, blow up this plane and, I don't know, Belgium, yeah? Kill some Belgians. Might as well. They're not even French. Byeeee!" Then, Aunt Missy teleported out.

The plane started to tilt and we had to keep hanging onto our straps to keep from falling out. But we knew the plane was going to blow up at any moment. We looked at each other and nodded. Then we let go and we started to fall. A few moments later, there was an explosion. I felt something hit me in my back, but I just brushed it off. As we fell the Doctor pulled out his TARDIS Key.

Once we got through the cloud layer we saw our ship. The Doctor went in first, then Annabelle and I followed. When we got in the TARDIS. Then, we started the TARDIS up and locked onto the location of Clara's call. I felt another pain in my back. Again, I just brushed it off.

We landed in a graveyard. There were quite a few Cybermen milling about and we saw Clara standing in front of Cyber Danny. I knew it was Danny because I could see his face "Clara, don't!" I shouted as we ran to her.

"Help me," she said once we reached her.

"If you do what you're trying to do, if you succeed, he will snap you," said The Doctor.

"No."

"Then he will step over your broken body and break another and another and another," said Annabelle, "He will never stop."

"I will not harm her," said Cyber Danny.

We walked over to Danny and walked around him. Then, The Doctor said, "PE... PE..."

"Sir."

"I had a friend once. We ran together when I was little. And I thought we were the same. But when we grew up, we weren't. Now, she's trying to tear the world apart, and I can't run fast enough to hold it together. The difference ... is this." The Doctor put his hand on Danny's chest, "Pain is a gift. Without the capacity for pain, we can't feel the hurt we inflict."

"Are you telling me seriously, for real, that you can?"

"Of course I can."

"Then shame on you, Doctor."

"Yes. Oh, yes."

There was a rumble as the clouds started to thicken, "Danny," I asked, "I need you to tell us what are the clouds going to do? What is the plan?"

"How would I know?" he asked.

"You're part of a hive mind now. Presumably that's how you found Clara. Just look."

"I can't see much."

"Look harder," said The Doctor.

"Clara, watch this," said Danny, as he looked to Clara, "This is who they are. Watch the blood-soaked old general and his lieutenants in action." He looked at us and said, "I can't see properly, sir, because this needs activating. If you want to know what's coming, you have to switch it on. And didn't all of those beautiful speeches just disappear in the face of a tactical advantage? Sir?"

We stepped back. We were caught between a rock and a hard place, "We need to know," said The Doctor, "We need to know."

"Yes. Yes, you do," said Danny.

"Give me the screwdriver," said Clara.

"No," said The Doctor.

"Just do it, Doctor. Do as you are told."

The Doctor took out his sonic screwdriver and Danny said, "Typical officer. Got to keep those hands clean."

Clara took it and we turned away, "Just point and think, yeah?" she asked.

"Yes."

I felt another pain in my back. "mmm…"

"Mom?" asked Annabelle, "Are you OK?"

"Yeah… I'm fine…"

Just then we heard Clara say to Danny, "OK. I wasn't very good at it, but I did love you."

"I love you too," said Danny.

"I'm never going to say that again."

"Me neither."

"Ready?"

"Yeah."

Clara started to cry, "I feel like I'm killing you."

"I'm already dead. You're here this time at least."

"Goodbye, Danny."

"Goodbye, Clara."

Then, we heard Clara activate the sonic screwdriver. Then, she ran up to him and hugged him. We turned around and saw this. We ran up to them and said, "Oh... Clara, no!" said The Doctor.

"Step Back!" said Annabelle, "He's activating! Clara, step away now!"

The Doctor tried to pull her back but she was holding on tightly, "Danny," I said, "Danny, if you can hear me, if you're still there, what are the clouds going to do?"

"The rain will fall again," said Danny, "All humanity will die."

"And rise again as Cybermen," said The Doctor.

"Correct."

"How do we stop it?" asked Annabelle.

"We cannot be stopped."

Just then Aunt Missy appeared, she slowly fell to the ground holding an umbrella in her hand, "Oh, that was brilliant!" She landed and started toward us. She closed her umbrella and said, "Oh, I love the telly here, but did you see that? Oh, Clara, you poor thing. You must feel like death. Let me pop away the pain." She took out her device and started to tap on it.

"Don't you dare!" said The Doctor as he grabbed the device and threw it away, "Don't you think about it!"

"Oh, sorry, hon, I'm just getting a bit carried away. It's your friends, they're so more-ish. Hmm? Oh, stop looking all cross-pants. I'm here to give you a gift. Could you at least try and be excited?"

Annabelle and I walked up to my aunt and uncle, "What gift?" I asked.

"Cyberdears!" said Aunt Missy, as she spoke into the device on her wrist. The Cybermen snapped to attention. "Look at Mummy!" the Cybermen looked at her and started to follow her commands, "Raise your arms. Lower your arms. Raise your right. Lower your right. Turn on the spot. There are exits at the front and rear of the aircraft. Please follow the lights up the aisle." Then she looked at us, "You see, Doctor? The power to slaughter whole worlds at a time, then make them do a safety briefing. Everyone who ever lived, man, woman and child, is now at my command. An indestructible army to rage across the universe. The more they kill, the more they recruit. Happy birthday. Oh! You didn't know, did you? It's lucky one of us remembers these things. Happy birthday..." Then she removed the device from her wrist and placed it on the Doctor's, then she sang, "Mr. Vice President."

"Doctor," said the Cybermen.

"Tiny bit pleased? Oh, go on, crack a smile. I want to see if your eyebrows drop off."

"All of this. All of it, just to give me an army?" asked The Doctor.

"Well, I don't need one, do I? Armies are for people who think they're right. And nobody thinks they're righter than you." The Doctor took the device off and Aunt Missy grabbed his hands, "Give a good man firepower, and he'll never run out of people to kill."

"We don't want an army!" I said.

"Well, that's the trouble! Yes, you do! You've always wanted one! All those people suffering in the Dalek camps? Now you can save them. All those bad guys winning all the wars? Go and get the good guys back."

"Nobody can have that power," said The Doctor.

"You will, because you don't have a choice," said Aunt Missy, "There's only way you can stop these clouds from opening up and killing all your little pets down here. Conquer the universe, Doctor. Show a bad girl how it's done." Then, she did a curtsey.

"Why are you doing this?" asked Annabelle.

"I need you three to know we're not so different," Aunt Missy looked at The Doctor, "I need my friend back. Every battle, every war, every invasion. From now on, you decide the outcome. What's the matter, Doctor? Don't you trust yourself?"

The Doctor thought for a moment, "Thank you. Thank you so much," said The Doctor, he knelt down and kissed Aunt Missy on the lips.

Annabelle and I stood there dumbfounded, "What?" I asked, "Doctor! Have you lost your mind?!"

"No," He said as he stood, "She's helped me see the light!"

"What?!" said Annabelle and I together.

"I really didn't know. I wasn't sure. You lose sight sometimes. Thank you!" He stood up and walked back to us, "I am not a good man! I am not a bad man. I am not a hero," The Doctor looked at Danny, "And no, I'm not an officer. Do you know what I am? I am an idiot, with a box, his brilliant nieces and a screwdriver. Just passing through, helping out, learning. I don't need an army. I never have, because I've got them." He pointed at Clara and Danny, "Always them. Because love, it's not an emotion. Love is a promise." I watched in amazement as Danny put his arm around Clara who was still hugging Danny, "And he will never hurt her," said The Doctor, "PE, catch!" Then, The Doctor threw the wrist device to Danny, and he caught it, "You didn't notice, did you? While you were doing all your silly orders, while you were showing off, the one soldier not obeying."

"No, that's wrong. That's impossible," said Aunt Missy.

Danny put the device on and walked over to us, "The rain will not fall," he said.

"Oh? Why won't it?"

"The clouds will burn."

"And who'll burn them?"

'I will burn them."

"How?"

"I will burn."

"One burning Cyberman is hardly going to save the planet."

"Correct," Danny then turned around and then he said into the bracelet, "Attention!" The Cybermen snapped to attention, "This is not a good day. This is Earth's darkest hour. And look at you miserable lot. We are the Fallen. But today, we shall rise. The army of the dead will save the land of the living. This is not the order of a general, nor the whim of a lunatic."

"Excuse me?" said Aunt Missy.

"This is a promise. The promise of a soldier!" Then Danny turned and Looked at Clara, "You will sleep safe tonight" Then, Danny and all the other Cybermen flew up into the sky and once they reached the clouds, they all exploded dissipating all the clouds. Returning the skies to normal.

"Well. The clouds have all gone," said Clara.

"Yes, burned up," said The Doctor, "Totally burnt. Burnt to nothing," the he turned and looked at Clara, "Sorry."

Annabelle and I walked up to Clara and gave her a hug to comfort her. I felt another pain in my back. But I bit my tongue. Something was wrong but I couldn't check it out until I got back to the TARDIS. Then Aunt Missy said, "10, 0, 11, 0, 0, by 0, 2"

"What did you say?" I asked.

"The current coordinates of Gallifrey. It's returned to its original location. Didn't you ever think to look?"

The three of us walked up to her, "You are lying!" said Annabelle.

"We can, we can all go together," said Aunt Missy, "A family outing."

"You'd be clapped in irons," said The Doctor.

"If you like."

"Doctor, I'm assuming you'll remember those coordinates?" said Clara.

We looked at her and saw she was holding Aunt Missy's device.

"No. No, don't you dare," said The Doctor, as we went over to her, "We won't let you."

"Old friend, is she?"

The Doctor nodded a little, "She's more than that," I said, "She's family… She's mine and Annabelle's aunt. She married my mother's sister."

"Friend or family," said Clara, "If any of you have ever let this creature live, everything that happened today, is on all of you. All of it, on you three. And you're not going to let her live again."

"Clara, all we're doing is not letting you kill her," said Annabelle, "I never said we were letting her live."

"Really?" said Clara.

"If that's the only thing that will stop you, yes," said The Doctor.

Clara gave The Doctor the device. The Doctor took it and got ready to use it on Aunt Missy, "Seriously," said Aunt Missy, "Oh, Doctor. To save her soul?" she chuckled, "But who, my dear, will save yours? Say something nice." He shrugged his shoulders, "Please?" said Aunt Missy.

"You win," said The Doctor.

"I know," said Aunt Missy.

The Doctor got ready to fire but before he could, a blue beam, from behind us, hit Aunt Missy and she disappeared. We turned and saw a lone Cyberman. Then, he pointed to his left. We looked in the direction it was pointing and we saw someone laying on the ground, "Doctor!" said Clara.

We ran over to her and it was Kate! "Kate!" I said as we knelt down next to her. I put my head near her mouth, "She's breathing! She's alive! She can't be here."

"She is," said Clara.

"Clara, she fell out of a plane," said Annabelle, "The Cyberman must have caught her."

Clara put her ear to Kate's mouth, "She's talking about her dad."

The Doctor stood up and looked at the Cyberman, "Of course. The Earth's darkest hour and mine. Where else would you be?" We knew who that Cyberman was. It was the Brigadier. Annabelle and I stood. Then, all three of us saluted the Brigadier. Then, the Brigadier flew away, "Thank you," said The Doctor. Then, I was hit by a tremendous pain in my back. I fell to my knees and then I passed out.

(AN: The role of Teddy Duncan will now be played by Debra Messing.)

When I woke up. I was in my bedroom on the TARDIS. I felt different. I looked and I saw Annabelle, The Doctor and Clara. Annabelle and Clara were by my bed but The Doctor was sulking in the corner. Clara smiled, "You're awake…"

"What happened?" I said, as sat up. I heard my new voice for the first time, "Whoa… That's going to take some getting used to.

"From what, we could tell before you regenerated," said Annabelle, "You got hit in the back, by a piece of the plane after it exploded. It broke some ribs in your back and punctured your kidneys and liver. Your blead internally for a while."

I nodded and looked over at my uncle. He was still sulking, "What's wrong with you?"

"Look at your hair," he said. I pulled some hair in front of my eyes. I could tell it was on the long side. Then, I saw the color… red, "This is the second time you've been a ginger and I haven't been one once…"

I laughed and walked up to my uncle a hug. Then, I looked in the mirror and got a good look at myself. "Woah… Not bad…" I looked to be in my late 40's in human years. I turned and looked at Annabelle, "I guess it won't be hard anymore to convince people that I'm your mom now."

After shooing the others out, I got dressed. I chose a light blue tank top with a dark blue button-up shirt over top, black jeans and black Adidas Campus sneakers. Then, we took Clara back home. After dropping her off, we deiced it was time. Time to find out if Aunt Missy was lying.

We figured that Annabelle should have the honor of taking us home if Aunt Missy was telling the truth. She slowly entered "10 – 0 – 11 – 00 : 02" into the console. Then, the TARDIS started up. When, we landed there was no readings. We walked to the door and there was nothing there except the blackness of space and a few stars.

We closed the door and slowly walked back to the console. We stood there for a few moments. She did it to us again. The Doctor pounded the console in frustration as he did it sparked. I stood there and I started to cry. Annabelle then gave me a hug.

We spent the next month or so just flying around. Then we got a message from Clara asking to meet us at a diner. We walked in and saw Clara sitting alone at the table. We walked up to her and The Doctor said, "Hey." I sat down next to Clara. Annabelle and Clara sat down across from us.

"Hey," said Clara.

"We got your message," said Annabelle.

"Two weeks late."

"Not bad," said The Doctor.

"Improving," said Clara.

I looked down and saw that Clara was wearing the controller bracelet that we gave Danny to control the Cyberman. "I see you've got news for us."

"News?"

"He figured it out then?" asked Annabelle, "He figured out there was a way home."

"Yeah. Yeah, he did."

"Oh, good old PE," said The Doctor, "He'll make a maths teacher yet."

"Listen," said Clara, "There's, there's something that I have to tell you guys and, er, it's not good news so just, just listen, OK?"

"We know," I said.

"Sorry?"

"We know exactly what you've got to tell us," said Annabelle.

"You do?" asked Clara.

"You and Danny are together now," said The Doctor, "That's great. That's how it should be. But the old man, his nieces and the blue box, that's never going to fit in. So no more flying around. No more lying."

"OK, no, that's not exactly..."

"It's fine," I said.

"No, it's not fine. It, it really isn't fine," said Clara.

"We've found Gallifrey."

"Wow! Oh, my God,"

"I entered the coordinates, just like she said," said Annabelle, "And we found Gallifrey."

"For once, she wasn't lying," I said.

"So, what are you going to do now?" asked Clara.

"Go home," said The Doctor.

"OK."

"Gallifrey can be a good place. We can help make it that."

"What, you?"

"Shut up!"

"You won't just steal a TARDIS and run away?"

"No, not this time," I said, "Never again."

"Never again," said Clara.

"It's a long commute," said The Doctor, "so, you know, we thought, with you and Danny..."

"Yeah. Me and Danny," said Clara, "Me and Danny, we are going to be fine. Don't you worry. You go home. Go home. Go be a king or something."

"Yeah, I might do that."

"Or queen, you know. Whatever."

"Yeah, queen, that would be good too," said The Doctor. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah," said Clara, she sighed and said, "Tell you what, seeing as it's goodbye, shall we break a habit?

"What? What habit?"

"Hug… you and I."

"Why not. Within reason," then, he stood up. Clara sat there then he said, "The Doctor: Come on, you're on the clock."

"Fair enough." said Clara. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Then, The Doctor slowly wrapped his arms around her. "Why don't you like hugging, Doctor?" she asked.

"Never trust a hug. It's just a way to hide your face," said The Doctor.

"Yeah."

Annabelle and I then each gave Clara a hug and we walked out to the TARDIS. The Doctor started to walk in first, then Clara said, "Doctor?" We stopped and turned, "Travelling with you three made me feel really special. Thank you for that. Thank you for making me feel special."

"Thank you for exactly the same," said The Doctor, then he went inside.

Annabelle went next. Before I went inside I turned and looked at Clara. She started to walk away and I said, "Clara?"

She turned and looked at me, "Yeah?"

I shut the door and walked up to her, "You still have my number… If you need anything give me a call, okay?"

Clara smiled, "Okay…"

I gave her another hug and then walked into the TARDIS. The Doctor started it up and we headed out.

AN: The reason I had Teddy regenerate now is that I really wanted to make Debra Messing the next incarnation of Teddy but I didn't want to wait for the next regeneration of The Doctor. If you like this story, Review, Favorite and Follow. It gives me motivation to keep going.
