"Yes," said Blake, "I remember it very well. Almost as if it were yesterday."

Adam Taurus and Blake were on a joint mission. They had hijacked a bullhead, and on the way to the island where Ruby resided. Once they arrived, they found a training course.
"This must be where she lives," said Adam.
"Do you think she will join us?" asked Blake.
"Yes," said Adam, "I know she will. She wants to help people, and she will help us."
They looked around, and found pictures of Jacques all over, along with some painted pictures of a Grimm Woman, all of which had scorch marks on them.
"Looks like we have something in common," said Adam, "We despise that man."
"And what of this woman here?" asked Blake, "And why does she look like a Grimm?"
She controls the Grimm, said a voice, and she murdered my father!
Adam and Blake got defensive, and turned to see Ruby had appeared out of thin air. She glared at them intently.
"I see," said Adam, "So, you're the great Mewtwo, I presume."
Ruby shot a warning at Adam, yelling, THAT IS NOT MY NAME! MEWTWO IS THE NAME OF A LAB RAT OWNED BY THE SCHNEES! I AM RUBY ROSE! DAUGHTER OF SUMMER ROSE, AND TAIYANG XIAO LONG, MEMBERS OF THE GREAT TEAM STRQ!
Adam regained his composure, saying, "I apologize for that, Ruby Rose. I am Adam Taurus."
Yes, I've heard of you, said Ruby.
Adam smirked, until Ruby said, And you've done a great job fucking up the lives of Faunus everywhere.
"Everything I've done has been for our kind," said Adam.
In the beginning, it was. Now, you've let your lust for revenge cloud your judgement. And if you're here to recruite me into the White Fang, I'll say it again.
Adam and Blake looked at Ruby, waiting for her response.
No!
"Please," said Blake, "You could do so much for us all."
I'm already seen as a monster, said Ruby, I will not join in mindless violence!
Adam held his sword, and looked at Blake, as she also readied her weapon.
"You will be coming with us," said Adam, "One way or another."
Ruby just stood there, unimpressed. At the last second, Adam launched himself, blade drawn, only for Ruby to dodge, and round-house kick him in the back of the head. Blake launched herself as well, only for Ruby to let the clone hit her, and grab the real Blake.
Illusions don't work on me, said Ruby bluntly, Your semblance is useless against me.
Ruby then unleashed a Furry Attack onto Blake, taking a chunk of her aura out. Adam charged, only for Ruby to jump onto the blade, and slap the Bull Faunus with her tail like a club.
Blake had recovered, and threw Gambol Shroud at Ruby, holding onto the ribbon, only for Ruby to grab the weapon, pull Blake in, and shoot her with her own weapon. Adam jumped from the air, only to be grabbed, and slammed into Blake. The White Fang members got up, as Ruby launched two shadow balls at them, with Adam blocking with his sword, and Blake using a shadow clone to dodge. Adam's hair started to glow a bit, as Ruby stared at the two. Blake then nodded at Adam, and she used her katana to clash with Adam, as Adam absorbed more and more power, ready to dish it back out.
Soon, Adam had plenty of energy, and he yelled, "BLAKE! MOVE!"
Blake jumped up, and a massive wave of energy was launched at Ruby, who stood there with a static look on her face. The blast was just an inch from her face, when she said one word: Counter.
The wave was sent returning to Adam, and he and Blake dodged, with their masks breaking, and every single rock behind them being reduced to rubble. Ruby, having enough, flew into the air, and launched Psystrike at the two.
The massive ball of energy slammed down onto the two, breaking their aura in one last hit. The dust settled, and both had bruises, and a scratches on them. Ruby gently landed before them with Adam saying, "Do it. Kill us."
If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you by now, replied Ruby.
"So why not?" asked Blake, snarling.
Look around you, said Ruby.
The two looked around, seeing all the rocks destroyed, and trees sliced in half.
Now, imagine if those were civilians. Faunus even. If we fought in a populated area, many innocent people would have gotten hurt, or worse.
Blake looked at the damage they did, and felt a hole in her stomach.
This is what your raids and attacks do, said Ruby, They harm not just Humans, but Faunus as well. Knowing this, do you wish to continue in this mindless violence?
Blake looked at the ground in shame, as Adam looked up at Ruby.
Tread carefully, said Ruby, You may loose something you hold dear if you continue down this path.
Ruby teleported the two back to the mainland, and turned to the sunset. She let out a sigh, thinking to her family back home.
Present...
"Your words stuck to me," said Blake, "And... I just wanted to make things right."
Ruby looked at Blake, who now had her bow off, showing her cat ears, and said, It will take time. But, you should be fine. I'll always be there for you, my friend.
Blake smiled at Ruby, as a voice said, "I knew you'd look better without the bow."
