A/N: Hi, it has been awhile. I was not really happy with chapter two and onwards, so I'm rewriting some of the story over. Enjoy!

The sun rose early in the Hidden Leaf Village, casting a warm glow on the rooftops and flooded the streets with soft light. Sakura Haruno was already awake, her heart pounding in anticipation for her first day of survival training with her new team. In her small room, she stretched her limbs, feeling the familiar patterns of her surroundings with her bare feet. The vibrations beneath her gave her a sense of comfort. Today was the day she would prove that she wasn't just the blind girl; she was Sakura Haruno, a future powerful kunoichi.

As she prepared, Sakura's mind raced with the memories of yesterday's team introduction. She thought of Naruto's boisterous laughter, Sasuke's dark presence, and their sensei's indifferent demeanor. What will they think of me? she wondered. Will they see me as weak? Determined to change that perception, she focused on her strengths—the knowledge she had acquired, the experiences that had shaped her. She may not have seen the world as they did, but she had learned to navigate it in her own extraordinary way.

After a quick breakfast of rice balls that her mother made for her, she dressed in her dark green ninja outfit and tied her pink hair into pigtails. With one last pat down to ensure she was ready, she set out to meet her team.

The village was eerily quiet at this hour. She walked barefoot, enjoying the sensation of the warm dirt beneath her feet. The vibrations helped her navigate as she moved swiftly through the streets, growing increasingly aware of the different presences around her.

When she arrived at Training Ground 44, the sun was just beginning to rise higher in the sky. She could feel the fresh, crisp air and the rustle of leaves around her. Sakura took a deep breath, filling her lungs with the scent of nature—fresh dew, bark, and earth. It was invigorating. But the clarity of the morning was soon disrupted by the collective buzz of energy from her teammates.

Naruto was already there, hopping from one foot to the other, impatience radiating from him. Sakura could sense his excitement from a good distance away.

"OHAYO, SAKURA-CHAN!"

"Tone it down, she's blind not deaf." Sasuke scoffed

"Where's Kakashi-sensei?!" Naruto complained, crossing his arms and pouting.

"Relax, dobe," Sasuke retorted, his voice low and steady. "He'll show up when he's ready."

Sakura felt a flutter of nerves. They were already bickering! But she steadied herself. Regardless of their dynamics, she would not allow herself to be overwhelmed. The part of the team she could influence was herself. Sakura sat down and began meditating and tuning into mother earth.

Suddenly, a presence arrived, its arrival signaled by a shift in the air and a familiar feel of chakra. Kakashi Hatake materialized in front of them, leaning casually against a tree as if he had been there all along. But of course, he had probably been observing—something she could both relate to and respect

"Good morning, team," he said, his voice lazy yet authoritative. "Hope you're ready for some fun."

"YOU'RE LATE!" Naruto screamed.

"Fun? What do you mean?" Sakura asked, trying to keep her voice steady. She was up half the night and couldn't sleep due to anxiety.

From Kakashi's pocket he took out a clock

Kakashi grinned, though she couldn't see it. "Sounds like someone is eager to get started! Today's training will be—" he paused for effect—"a survival challenge. Your goal is to take these two bells away from me by noon. Those who can't do it, won't get any lunch. They get tied to a stump and I'll eat my lunch before your eyes. Also, if you don't take a bell by noon, one of you will be sent back to the academy."

"And, you won't be able to take the bells unless you come with the intent to kill."

"What?!" Naruto exclaimed, eyes wide. "That's not fair!"

"Life isn't fair," Kakashi said simply, holding up the two bells dangling from his fingers. "Now prepare yourself."

Before the team could even react, he vanished in a swirl of leaves.

Sakura the whole time and been thinking the meaning of the lesson. It had to be none other than team work. Before Naruto could do anything stupid, she dragged Naruto off with her into the bushes. She'd find Sasuke later.

Sakura immediately began focusing her sensory abilities, trying to hone in on Kakashi's chakra signature. She felt the energy shift around her, and a determined grin formed on her lips. "We have to work together," she stated, turning to her teammate. "If we don't work as a team, we'll never succeed."

"Sakura-chan, how can be so sure?"

"Kakashi-sensei is a jonin. He was anbu and graduated the academy at an early age. There's no way to beat him!"

"There's no way I'm working with that bastard."

"Naruto, please, do this for me! Look, I haven't been the nicest to you, but now I want to make a change."

Naruto deflated and gave in.

"Alright, let's go find Teme!"

Sakura heard a groan not too far away and Naruto saw Sasuke was stuck in ground. Only his head and neck were visible.

Sakura and Naruto snickered

"What do you two want?" Sasuke was furious

"Listen, Sasuke, we need to work as a team. Right, Naruto?" Sakura exclaimed

Naruto nodded his head

"How do I know you two won't just take the bells from me?"Sasuke's voice lacing with suspicion

"Look, Sasuke I want to do this as a team. You don't have to like us but we need to do this together!"

"Let's go, Dattebayo!"

"Hn..Fine.."

With reluctant agreement, Sasuke spat out a mouthful of dirt and rose from the ground, brushing himself off with a scowl. They might not be the best of friends, but in this moment, they were bound by a mutual goal—taking those bells from Kakashi. The stakes were high, and Sakura could feel the adrenaline surging within her teammates.

"Alright," she said, drawing the boys' attention. "First, we need to come up with a plan. We can't just charge at him; we need strategy."

"Strategy?" Naruto grinned, his excitement bubbling back up. "I'm all for charging in fists flying!"

"No, we need to be smart. Kakashi-sensei hasn't trained as a ninja for years for nothing. He'll anticipate a direct attack." She paused, feeling the pulse of nature around her and the distant chirping of birds—a calm amid the storm of thoughts swirling in her head. "We need to distract him. If we can divide his attention, it'll give us a better chance to grab the bells."

Naruto rubbed the back of his head, "Alright, but how do we distract him?"

Sakura closed her eyes for just a moment, envisioning the natural surroundings. "I can use my sensory abilities to detect where he's moving. If I know where he is, I can guide you two into position."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow, a flicker of intrigue crossing his stoic face. "And what if you're wrong?"

"It's worth the risk!" Sakura replied, a fire igniting in her chest. "We won't know unless we try." Her heart pounded with determination, fueled by the desire to prove herself. "Are you in?"

Naruto clenched his fist, the excitement gleaming in his eyes. "You bet I am, Sakura-chan!"

"Fine," Sasuke muttered, "Let's just do this."

"Okay," Sakura nodded, feeling more confident now. "Let's spread out. I'll keep track of him, and once I sense he's distracted, I'll signal for you to move in. Remember, no fighting one-on-one; we need to work together!"

With their plan set, the trio moved through the bushes, each of them focusing on the task ahead. Sakura concentrated on the flow of chakra around her. She could feel the gentle vibrations of the trees and bushes, the whisper of the wind, and in the distance, the distinct energy of Kakashi. It was comforting to hone in on the familiar presence.

After a few moments, she sensed a shift. Kakashi was on the move, a ripple of his chakra brushing against her senses. "He's heading east," she whispered to her teammates. "We should flank him—Naruto, go around to the front, and Sasuke, you're coming with me. We'll wait for my signal."

They nodded, maintaining their positions as they made their way through the underbrush, careful not to make any noise. Sakura's heart raced as she prepared herself. The anticipation built within her, mixed with a hint of anxiety.

As they reached a vantage point, her senses flared. She could feel Kakashi nearby. "Now!" she hissed, and with that, she focused her chakra, sending a pulse—like a signal—to her teammates.

Naruto dashed out, yelling, "Take this, Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto's clones all coming at him at once

Sasuke followed closely with his fire style, leaping to the side in a bid to flank their sensei. The two attacked simultaneously, both throwing punches in a desperate attempt to take him off guard. But Kakashi was prepared; he dodged with ease, moving with incredible speed.

"I won't give up!" she shouted, rallying her teammates. "We can do this together!" Sakura came rushing in, however, time was up.

"No one will be going back to the academy." Sasuke exclaimed

"It's either you take all of us or none of us!" Sakura shouted

"Believe it!" Naruto exclaimed

Kakashi had a stern look on his face and Kakashi's sensei's chakra was swirling with trepidation

"YOU GUYS...PASS!"

"We're ninja! Let's go out for ramen guys!" Naruto was cheering

"Come on, Sasuke.." Sakura tugged on his sleeve

"Only if Kakashi comes with us." Sasuke said monotonly

The four of them went out for ramen that night. Maybe this team wouldn't be so bad afterall..
