Baby Steps
Kuu was surprised to see his son already up early, "Good morning, son. You're up early?" Kuu greeted Julianne who started making breakfast.
Despite his cold attitude and way of responding to Kuu, he was still civil, "I had to review all the blue prints Nakahara sent over for me to check." He replied.
Showing interst making sure to engage his son, "Is it about the new rugged bullet proof vest you guys are designing?" Kuu started making coffee for him and his son.
With affirmative hum, "Uh-hmm... the standard military issues were uncomfortable and heavy, however we're trying to maximize the space unused, lighter and make it breathable for the wearer." He explained.
"Indeed, there are plenty of designs and even functions, its difficult to make a better fit for it. Say, did your engineer released a new rifle model?" Kuu trying to continue their conversation.
"Yes, it's finger print activated. We decided to issue it with the peace keepers and world organization." Kuu whistled.
"I bid you good luck with that. Also, did you hire a new guy?" Kuu remembered.
"Yes, Tsukuyomi Nasa-san. He's Japanese and quite versed with our advanced systems. You will see plenty of him from now on, he and his wife are staying with me." Julianne introduced, his newly purchased mansion next door became his private office, workshop and testing facility. With the insistence of his brother and future-sister-in-law, he ended up moving back with his parents and still sleeps in his old room.
The matriarch finally came down to join them, "Good morning you two!" Julie beamed at her husband and son happily, "And that smells wonderful honey!" She complimented her son.
Julianne made more breakfast for the family, and shortly his brother and Kyoko came down to share breakfast, they talked about their later schedule and planned a shared lunch, "How about you dear?" Julie turned to Julianne.
With a nonchalant shrug, "I'll have Hajime-san take me to your location of choice." Knowing he can't win against his mother. Julie sounded pleased at his response and planned out a good restaurant for later.
Indeed as promised the family inserted to their schedule 'the all important lunch date.' Paparazzi and even fans started snapping pictures of the famous Hizuri couple sporting big smiles as they are joined by the younger couple; their eldest son and soon-to-be-daughter-in-law. However the paparazzi and on lookers got a field day after spotting Julianne who rarely shows himself to public or even on camera, the media feasted and flashed their devices at the former child actor turned intrapreneur, his bodyguards just allowed the situation since their employer didn't make any negative reaction, instead he gave them a polite wave and downward nod from his car window.
Stepping out the luxury custom Bronco with his personal security, ladies dining at the nearby cafés and even passers by stared at him in awe. "Grab a separate table and order, tabs will be on me." He was kind to his staff and security.
The two men smiled and gave him a salute, "Thank you, boss!" They said and accompanied him to the establishment.
Julie was pleased that her namesake inherited one of the main Hizuri trait of catching everyone's attention, "Well, that was quite the entrance." Kuu chuckled.
The younger couple were amused, "Goes to show, he's quite the Hizuri through-and-through!" Kuon chuckled.
"How did the meeting go, son?" Kuu asked and Julianne gave a smug look, "Glad it did well." Kuu proudly patted his shoulder. Their lunch was merry and the older couple were ecstatic to enjoy this precious moment which they thought they can only have in their dream. Sharing meals, merry conversations and having their boys with them, and it was even greater when Kyoko finally joined their family of four.
When the waiter handed them the bill, Julienne pulled out his wallet and dropped his black and card, "On me." pointing at his security and driver's table. And before leaving, he left a hefty sum of bills for the waiters.
By that afternoon, social media, tabloids and gossip platforms were buzzing because of the Hizuri family, especially their youngest son. Articles about him started to circulate whereas naming him one of the young billionaires in the world.
People who knows and worked under him, even the waiters claimed he is quite the kindest and generous person. Sharing some of his foundations and even scholarship charity. Kuu and Julie proudly shared his story and achievements as a teen and even in his college days.
Kuu found his son staring seriously at a fancy wooden box, "What are you frowning, son?" Kuu noticed him sitting in his office lounge, staring at a fancy box of cigar. "Oh... that's quite the expensive and luxury ones, kid. Where'd you get it?" Kuu interested why his son had those old-school smokes.
"It was a present from Mikogani-san." Julianne's short reply and still don't know what to do with the cigar. "I don't know how to use it."
Kuu chuckled and assured him, "I'll teach you. Don't tell you mother about this." Kuu warned and Julienne shook his head in amusement. Julianne handed him a gold zippo lighter that has intricate wolf design and a matching cutter that came with the expensive cigars; Kuu showed him how to snip the tip and properly light it up, "Don't puff while you burn the end, you get your first puff once its starts to burn, it gives you that nice aroma when you do." he explained.
Kuon spotting his brother and father doing something decided to join, "Yo, woah... that's some nice cigar you got there?" Kuon came in, he too learned how to properly burn the cigar. Kuon having no idea about Julianne and Kuu's agreements about keeping the cigar a secret from Julie made a quick snap and uploaded it online, this caused the mother to be furious at Kuu teaching her sons how to smoke, however pleased that Kuu reminded the boys to only smoke cigars for important events and celebrations.
With a little post made by Kuon; Kyoko convinced him to continue, that way they can bond with Julianne more. It was adorable whenever Kuon with the help of his manager catches his father or brother off guard with the camera.
Then it has become a habit and usual thing, "Hey dad! can you make us something?" Kuon handing his father some liquors and Kuu always on the of his game, mixed some good cocktail for his sons, explaining its names and the best mixes or pairs, even adding some few life advices.
Once Kuu was done, Kuon took the other glass and carried it to his brother's office. Yashiro following Kuon and holding the camera could not hide his laughter when they accidentally intrude Julianne's online meeting; wearing his upper suit and a pair of khaki shorts. Kuon also could not help but laugh.
Started, "Go away!" Julianne protested and shooed them out.
That little display won the hearts of the younger couple's fans in Japan, with Julianne's popularity. Kuon's fans are no longer bitter after learning he has quite the eye candy brother they can steal.
Kyoko too, introduced Julianne over her updates, and he's the kind of figure in her perspective as the reliable and generous brother who would often help her out when needed and always ready to accompany her in any cases.
"By the way, these guys are Yuuya, Lugh and Hajime-kun!" Kyoko introduced Julianne's security, aide and driver. "Hajime Nagumo-san is Julienne-kun's full time chuffer, while Tenjou-san is Julianne's head of security and Tuatha Dé-san are Julianne-kun's aide, he needs to be with at least two every time he leaves, threat to his life has grew quite a bit." Kyoko sadly sighed.
"These are the big guys that keep our Julianne safe!" Hajime and Yuuya gave an affirmative and playful salute to the camera assuring Kyoko's fans that they got it handled. They are currently having tea at Julianne's garden, by his pool, while some of his male staff are cooking and grilling some stake and burger.
Taking notice at a familiar figure approaching, "Oh here comes boss!" comes from one of his personnel.
Julianne accompanied by Kuon finally joined them, Kuon still in stitches after telling Kyoko about what happened. "He walked in while I was having a remote meeting with my associates." Kyoko confused.
Kyoko confused, "What's seems to be the problem and why is Kuon running out of breath just because of that?" Kyoko still puzzled.
Hajime and the other securities hid their laughter knowing what Kuon saw. "I typically wear a suit on the top and shorts at the bottom." Julianne explained and Kyoko started to imagine.
Kyoko followed Kuon in laughter, Julianne just sported his 'unbothered-king-look' and everyone could not stop themselves from laughter. Kuon uploaded the picture of his brother after that event.

Extra: Wholesome
"Good mo..." Kyoko stared at the scene long and hard (That's what she said) at the scene; Julianne Cooking while three of his bodyguards sat and sipped their morning coffees over the huge breakfast counter. It was quite the sight to see the employer cooking and serving his employees breakfast. The actress could not help and snapped a quick photo of the scene and send it to her fiancé.
"Care to join us, ma'am?" The boys offered and Kyoko happily joined, except she went and helped her future-brother-in-law.
Later that day, "Babe, have you seen my..." Kuon this time found his brother mopping the floor while his security just stare at him.
"If you're looking for your tie, Kyoko returned it to your closet." Julianne explained and Kuon, still baffled; slyly took a picture of his brother.
The couple ended up compiling quite the collection of Julianne doing chores while his 'highly paid securities and staff' watches him do all of it. And somehow they ended up uploading it online for their fans begging for more 'Julianne content'.
Their followers could not help read their updates in disbelief, seeing the young multi-billionaire do every day chores while his paid employees watch.
"I'm sure, this is a publicity stunt!" wrote by one of the bashers that hated Julianne after his popularity with the women.
"Who does that?" Another complained.
Funny how Julianne actually responds to them directly in the comment section with photo attachment, "I'm still an ordinary guy doing my personal business..." he responded, "And before I massed my wealth, I was a struggling broke, college boy that worked four jobs to give myself a roof, and food three times a day." he said as a matter of fact. "I never begged for my parents nor asked them to pay my tuition. I'm proud to say I lived off a scholarship and played for varsity."
Gossip platform and tabloids ate his comments and dug up plenty of his college photos abroad, attaching his varsity pictures that melted a lot of Japanese girls' hearts. He was quite the heart breaker as what Kuu stated- even with his dorky and nerdy look wearing those thick prescription glasses, university hoodies and checkered pajamas.
Even his personnel were interviewed by Kyoko for her daily vlogs, Hajime and the other confessed that they get scolded if they try to take the pan or mop from their boss.
From being a business prodigy, philanthropist and billionaire, it is safe to say that they can add 'Wholesome' to his name. Every girl in Japan and America that knows Julianne wants him.
