Extra Mile
Fashion season is at peak yet again and Julienna Duris-Hizuri or internationally known as runway's fairy godmother is as usual busy and miles away from her dear and precious family to attend a grand fashion show held in Paris, all her staff, assistants and models are on the edge and walking on eggshells, having the woman to a little extra spicy after skipping mothers day because of the event.
While dealing with arrangements, "Ma'am?" you have an important package. A tall blonde man in an overall delivery suit handed Julie his clip board for her to sign.
The Hizuri mother not feeling well, wanted to excuse the man, "Sofia, kindly deal with that please." she groaned massaging the bridge of her nose.
Sofia on the other hand noticed and smiled sighing in relief, "You might really need to sign it yourself, its good for your mental stability at the moment." Julie internally groaned and about to take the pen when.
"Happy Mother's day." He smiled making Julie stunned.
Her husband grinning from ear-to-ear, "But you have work!" she gasped and gave him a tight hug.
With a chuckle, "Paulie works miracles, babe." Kuu winked, "Now instead of signing this, why dont you reply to this instead." handing her an iPad and saw her youngest son's greetings, "And accept those too." pointing at his fellow delivery personnel in the same jumpsuit.
Julie jumped in glee after seeing Kuon and Kyoko holding a giant bouquet of flowers and an equally giant white teddy bear in a suit, giving her oldest son and future-daughter-in-law an affectionate embrace, "Happy mother's day, mom!" they greeted and handed the items to the other staff to place in Julie's hotel room.
Kuu with a sad smile, "I'm sorry, hun... As much as Julianne wanted to join and surprise you, he had a business in New York and would need an all important fire arms expo since it's his first appearance. But he requested to have these for you." Julie cant help but feel disappointed she can't spend her first mother's day after her sons are finally home.
She can't blame her baby, he was a business man just like her and she would always be proud of him, "It's okay, darling. Here, I'll let him know I got his presents." Kyoko also revealed that it was Julianne who arranged the flight and accommodations for them to surprise Julie and join her for mother day.
Requesting Sofia to take their family picture with the presents, they then sent it to her busy son. The models who has been in agonizing platform breathed in relief after Julie gave them. break and finally loosened-up.
While on break, they were cooing at the giant bear in a suit and the expensive looking giant bouquet with colorful roses with diamonds. Teasing the woman about being lucky to have Julianne as a son.
"I bet, Julianne sent this for you in place of him!" one squealed and even suggested to bring it to the show and have it sit inplace of her son in his reserved seat. Kuu had to agree and promised to carry it later.
It was adorable when Kyoko placed a neat name tag on the bear as 'Julianne' as a joke and sent a picture everywhere they would take it around the hotel and sights while the younger couple went out.
In return, Kuu thanked one of his youngest son's security as they sent him stolen pictures of the youngest in his first expo.
As the evening of the event started, everyone was hyped, Kyoko and Kuon as an international model was recognized by the MC and had been introduced too. Throughout the fashion show Julie's angels were in grind and mood after Julian's previous inspiration that drained the poor man after.
Of course, Julie was not pleased and felt jealous when she heard her son sent flowers and thanks to the ladies for always cooperating with her, but knowing Julianne it was his gentlemanly way of appreciation to the ladies and making sure they are plenty inspired for her main event of the year.
The show went on without any issues and hitch, making it a great success. Alot of celebrities as well high profile people loved all her designs and combinations, "Before we end the evening, we would like to greet all the mothers in our guests as well staff, but most of all the fairy godmother of runway. You have a very special guest who came rushing just to surprise you." Sofia who took the microphone revealed the guest.
Julie gasped in shock seeing who it was, Kuu holding her was in awe as he failed to expect his son to appear. Julianne with a luxurious looking bouquet of roses, wrapped with gold silky ribbon, full of expensive looking gems that matched his mother's dress appeared and took the center stage with the other ladies. He was rocking the same suit as the bear with his mother's brand.
With a soft smile, he approached Julie who started crying, "Happy Mother's day, mom." He said and Julie just locked her arms around to embrace him, "Mind if I take you for a mother and son date?" Kuon laughed in the background turning to Kyoko.
It seems he expected it knowing his brother well, between them, it was Julianne who's the biggest momma's boy and would always one-up him when they were younger when it comes to Julie's birthday and mother's day.
"Of course, baby boy!" hugging him again.
He gave a genuine smile making the female population in the vicinity shriek and faint, "Congratulations, mom on the job well done." Julie's clients, audience and staff melted at the mother and son moment.
Julie equally proud of her baby, "And Congratulations to you too in your first expo!" she said. Julie then excitedly started to inroduce her youngest son to her clients and other high profile people within the fashion community, she received praises and compliments after her son became a gentleman's icon with his suits, but of course him being a multi-billionaire businessman.
Kuu feeling a little jealous, let his youngest son take his wife to a mother and son date. Julianne with his trusted security had them safely ride his armored limousine and down to the five-star high rise hotel restaurant, to Julie's amazement, her son had the whole establishment reserved with only a single table by the topfloor window.
Having their late dinner, "How did you manage to arrive on time, sweetie?" she asked still baffled at his timing.
"I am actually late, I was supposed to arrive before your fashion show started, but the customs had to make another inspection and I had to call a friend to get us off the hook." he sighed.
"Was it your firearms again?" she was used to it.
He nodded, "Yes, and I had to reveal Im one of the high profiles that needs security twenty-four-seven."
Julie did not mind since she gets to spend her day with her husband and babies, especially her youngest that she missed so much. She appreciated the extra mile he pulled just to spend the special day with her.
Julie thanked her son fir all the presents and the expensive jewels he gave her from the flowers, Julianne revealed that it was Kuon and Kyoko who gave him the idea, "Also, while I was in New York, a friend of mine who was an aspiring accessory designer have me textile samples that you might like." he stated making Julie interested.
Julie thought of thanking the younger couple later too, "Can I see his designs?" and Julianne was happy to show it to his mother, "Give me his contacts! I am in love with all his pins and brooches!" she squealed like a teenage girl, "I'm also thinking of adding few helpful acccesories for your suits too!" Julie found joy in dressing up her son, she can't wait for her eldest to finish his contract with the blasted RMandy too.
Before ending the evening, they took a mother and son picture dancing and Julie had the biggest pride of posting it to her official social media letting everyone know how much she cherish and treasures those type of moments with her sons, especially the youngest whom she missed so much, and giving all those ladies trying to gain her baby's graces that he is not for the market.
The next morning, the family had plenty of free time before they fly back to California, thus they decided to have a tour and spend it as family including Julianne's emotional support dog Diesel. Of course they did not go unnoticed to their fans and was followed by camera flashes.
Still, they felt secured with all the security provides by Julianne bringing along two-thirds of his security contractors. Kuu who had been holding back from the night before kept dragging Julianne and Kyoko to all food stalls, of course he and his son as usual had matching iconic cowboy hats which made Julie envious.
Understanding that it was his form to connect with his boy, Julie respected it, and instead, she planned to have fancy gold pins made for her husband, sons, fairy daughter and herself to match.
Hilarious how Kyoko kept helping Julie shoo away the ladies trying to make advances to her clueless youngest son, especially the models who had been flocking him whenever they get the chance.
