Part 10

Bond

Kuon with his attempt to patch his brotherly relationship with his sibling had this idea of involving him to his spotlight as an actor, introducing as well as making him an important person in his media updates.

It was a miracle that Julianne haven't refused and pushed him the same as when they met again a year ago. Despite the sheepish and awkward greetings, talks and bonding, Kuon was thankful his brother was trying too.

Kuon as usual with his content, holding his phone and bothering his brother, "One of my guy fans asks how you do your daily concealed carry." Of course Kuon always tries to break the ice with his brother with a topic he's most intersted and likely to eagerly respond.

Currently, Julianne was in his fancy walk-in closet getting ready for his day, "It depends... I have two ways to conceal carry depending on my clothes of the day." Fixing his buttons leaving three of it open, and making sure his pants were snug.

"Can you show us?" Kuon asked and his brother willingly obliged.

Turning to his brother's camera, "Since I am wearing a casual suit today, my choice of conceal carry is a shoulder holster." Showing a vintage looking leather shoulder holster that housed his custom silver magnum desert eagle, Kuon whistled seeing the heavy pistol.

Kuon asked again, "Is that what you always carry?" making sure his brother was still engaged.

Julianne shook his head, "No... I have multiple firearms that I carry as I see fit for my clothes." shrugging, "For example-" Turning his back and opening his huge closet vault, Kuon just chuckled in amazement seeingbthe plethora of firearms stashed, Kuon kind if forgot that his brother creates and sells all sorts of weapons and tactical amenities to the government and international security contractors and associations.

"For example if I'm jus wearing a normal jeans and collared shirt, I'd have this tucked in front of my waist band." Showing him a nine millimeter pistol attached with a red-dot optics and flashlight. "-If your fan is looking for an advice to do waistband concealed carry, I suggest he get a hard shell waistband holster with elastic attachments for the sides to avoid those hip marks, accidentally shooting himself and easy access. Of course to anchor everything a good sturdy battle belt. I use mine that can be tucked under my leather belt." Of course Julianne personally designed and have it custom made for himself making sure to match his mother's outfit made just for him.

Kuon was impressed as usual and toured the camera around the closet armory showing off the rifles and snipers hanged on a wall secured by a biometric wall mount. Once he was done touring and asking his brother the advice it turns into another awkward silence and then goodbye.

Kuon having his rare dayoff from work, quietly edited his recording with his brother that morning, Yashiro who was supposed to be relaxing noticed his charged repeated-exhausted sighs, "Okay, mr. hotshot, tell me what's wrong?" he sat across him.

Kuon let out another sigh, "The usual..."

Yashiro looked at him strangely, "What do you mean? As I noticed, Julianne-kun is actually reaponding and getting along with you..."

Kuon shook his head, "Civily he does, and I appreciate him trying too, but it's always awkward once we don't know what to talk about, unlike Kyoko and him, they're more siblings that me and him who's actually blood related!" he complained.

Yashiro sadly cannot help him with that issue, "Are you done editing your update? If you are, why don't you blow off some steam?" He suggested.

"I'll finish this soon. Say, can you ask any of the guys if they can spar with me?" Turning at Julianne's remaining security at home.

Yashiro patted him, "Sure." and went to the poolside area where most of the men are patrolling with the Hizuri Security dogs.

It took Kuon around afternoon to finish and later apologized to the guys who willingly wanted to help him with his training. Kuon is currently bulking up and gaining the exact weight for his character who's an underground fighter.

Thankful that his brother's trusted securities are well versed with mixed martial arts and close combat, he gets free training everu now and then for his role.

After defeating three of the security men, they shared water breaks and few merry talks until, "Can I have a go?" He was shocked to see his sibling's shining eyes.

Kuon was a little hesitant to spar with his brother but the other bodyguards as well as spent contractors started to cheer and egged them to fight. Kuon with another sigh of defeat thought of going easy making sure not to break his brother.

Yashiro was thrilled and whipped out his gloves and phone to record the whole thing, Julianne gracefully took off his suit coat and neatly handing them with his shoulder holster to his aide, Lugh.

One of his men, then handed him with a glove which he wore and secured, "Don't hold back..." he said and got into position, Kuon was at loss of words and still decided to hold back.

To his shock his brother just tackled him and pinned him to the ground aggressively, there was this silent aggression his brother was letting out after his rough and hard blows, Kuon knew those will live bruises and marks.

Finally getting out of his brother's vice, he collected himself still stunned, Julianne was a powerhouse, indeed he was taller standing in six-foot-seven but he was packing some serious muscle after getting his life back on track.

In the end, poor Kuon had to tap-out after getting him into a slipper hold, and having a bruise on the cheek. The whole ground security team betted on their boss and won a hefty amount.

Yashiro's jaw dropped at the outcome as well. With everyone cleaning up after Nanny Mel scolded them for letting her boys get a little rough, Kyoko ended up patching up her husband-to-be who sat silently, confused and frozen at how he was defeated, menwhile his brother who got out scarch free went to change to his comfortable home clothes and snacked on whatever their chef was making.

Later that evening, Julianne found his brother just sitting by the poolside alone, "Sorry... are you okay? Did I go a little to hard? I told you not to hold back..." he said simultaneously, concerned at his brother's beuised state.

Kuon laughed, "Nah... Im cool, don't worry. Just a little surprised, by the way where and how did you learn about that?" he asked.

Julianne sheepishly rubbed his nape, "Sit here." Kuon tapped the free space beside him.

His brother then took the offer, "University, my flat brothers were the one that got me into it." he revealed, "And it got me the full scholarship too." Kuon kept getting surprised with all his revelations.

"Can you tell me about it? But I thought you were already in full scholarship?"

Julianne shook his head, "Nope, it was just a partial... Once my recommendation and credentials were accepted, half of my tuition was already covered by the scholarship program, for me to get the full program, I had to play as varsity for chess. I won the championships but I grew tired of it so I opted out for half and started working part time. Then my flat buddies got me into a gym, trained and then played for amateur matches until I decided to have a got at it in my university tryouts and got accepted around my senior year, thus covering my full tuition again. I mainly lived off free food from the café I was working for or the once they are giving out from the campus." he laughed, but during my seniors I started making blue prints and selling them for millions, that how I got my starting cash for my business." Kuon was really proud how his brother came the long way.

"Im so happy you turned out better than I did." hugging his brother, "For the longest of time, I blame myself for everything that has happened to you, our parents and even Rick..." Kuon doing his best not to sob.

Julianne returned his embrace, "It was no one's fault." he paused, "If it's anyone's fault, its 'that' person who ruined you. That's why I dread joining the industry and made my own path, as far away possible." Kuon could not blame him either for turning his back from acting.

"Don't tell the old man and the fancy old man, but I really do like acting, I had fun with my friends, but as I realized it was a nasty environment." Kuon had to agree and promised to keep his brother's secret.

"Don't worry, our feelings in that front, is mutual. There was a point in time I wanted to quit, but I know this is where I wanted to be and I'm glad I just changed location." he laughed.

"And you found Kyoko." they shared a small laugh. Kuon then asked about how his therapy was going. Kuon even kept complimenting and petting Diesel of how of a good boy he was keeping Julianne happy and safe.

Meanwhile, Julie and Kuu who just got home saw the brothers bonding by the poolside bench, leaning and elbowing sharing laughs here and there.

It made Julie tear up seeing her boys get along, "That has been an hour ago, and it seems they have been sharing a heart-to-heart talk." Kyoko commented, looking pleased.

On the other hand, Yashiro was occupied editing the brother's sparring session from earlier.

Right after the boys went inside, intime for dinner, Julie was horrified seeing Kuon's massive bruise on his face, Kuu only laughed after watching the clip Yashiro was editing.

Over their dinner, Kuon shared his new discovery about his brother being part of the varsity, a waiter from a café in his university campus- just to earn for his living expenses and the pranks pulled to him by his flatmates.

This pleased the parents that little-by-little their youngest son is finally opening up. Kuon was even eager to show his brother's university pictures during his varsity days, his fatmates with him wearing his judo gold medal. Julie even demanded where was his trophies and medals at, only to know it was piled in an old cardboard box in the dark storage room being packaged after coming home.

Julie even cried after finding his official college graduation picture and had it put in a huge frame with the diploma for both his engineering and business courses, she had to request a custom frame for her son's highest honor medal, stole and ribbons, having it hanged on the family wall together with Kuon, Kyoko and Kuu's best actor and actress awards.

The next morning after Yashiro uploaded the fifteen minutes edited clip of the brothers fighting, Kuon's lady fans were all over social media praising and sharing thirst messages towards Julianne.

Kuon was not pleased of what they were saying but amused that his brother might flip his colleagues in Japan from the top spot for most desirable bachelor, after his recent updates he was sharing. "You know... I have a schedule in Japan next week, and I'm scared... no... peteified to visit the country with all these thirst posts." Staring at Kuon with a horrified look.

Kuon on the other hand laughed, "Don't worry, you got a handful of security to help you." giving the men a thumbs up, "And dealing with crazy fangirls was a solid terrifying ride." he aweated.

To be continued

Extra: National Nii-san

Typical Sunday morning became the brothers' bonding time. Hanging out by the poolside sharing coffee has been their thing, and Julianne being faced with his brother's camera has become a common sight.

Kuon sipping his coffee, "You know, your tips and hacks you have been sharing had become a hit towards the teen boys in my community." Julianne was not expecting much of it but appreciate that others likes it, "And shared that all you have been teaching are things you learned and picked up during your years without dad helping or guiding you." Kuon sounded very proud.

"And if you don't mind, I would like to continue to include you and your 'Nii-sama wisdom' for my young viewers who doesn't have any solid paternal or older brother model and guidance." Kuon asked and Julianne shrugged letting him know it's alright.

Kuon with a chuckle, "And it seems you have earned yourself a new monicker from my younger viewers." Julianne looked skeptical, "You've become everyone's competent Onii-sama." Julianne breathed in relief that it wasnt as terrible as the ladies calls him.

Kuon noticed and laughed a bit, "I swear I was expecting I've become everyone's dad for some reason." he bashfully chuckled, "Its enough, 'Heart's Angels' calls me daddy for some reason." This caused Kuon to tumble in laughter.

Collecting himself, "I mean you 'spoil' them when you find a chance." teasing his brother.

"Its just appreciation for the cooperation they do for mom." he looked flustered, "And mother raised 'us' as gentlemen." Kuon had to agree but his brother pulls his 'generosity' a little extra mile.

"Since we're on the topic of being a role model, what is your take in it?" Kuon interested.

Julianned took a sip of his own coffee and leaned back to his chair, but still looked classy and elegant, "I don't mind becoming those young men's positive brotherly figure, I hope I am not assuming too much..." he said modestly, "And I would love to be of help on their life of independence." he shot the camera gentle smile.

Kuon really appreciate him, and kind of felt guilty that he wasn't there for his brother growing up, "And I am stoked to be everyone's brother too." Julianne added.

"Since we're on the topic of tips and hacks, one of my followers asked, what are the best basic things you keep in your wallet aside from cash, cards and IDs." Kuon too was interested to know.

To his susprise, Julianne pulled out his wallet and started to show its contents, of course his black, gold and custom diamond designed credit cards were neatly kept in compartments, the thousands of bills were also neatly folded on the side attached to the wallet clip.

Pulling out a carbon fiber card, "This is actually a tool, I designed and have this custom made to my specifications, but I'm planning to have this manufactured for those who wanted it and recently patented this for my own creations protection." Kuon chuckled knowing his brother, the item had those sharp tiny removable knife, flexible scissors, pick and twizers. The item was as thin as two credit cards stacked, "I learned from one of my old professors that a man should always be equipped by a tool. And he always carry a swiss multitool." Kuon has to agree.

"Recently, I've been carrying one too." showing a smaller Swiss multitool attached to his car keys.

His brother approved, "But in my case, I prefer my things flushed, minimal and kept in one carrier." Kuon was impressed how neat his wallet was, "And, always keep bandaids in your wallet too..."

Kuon confused, "You're not the type to get cut..."

"True, but it is always better to be prepared. And I carry a wider one for my lady friends, they tend to bruise and blister on the back of their foot showing off those high heels. And they would always appreciate an extra care."

Kuon grinned, "No wonder mom's models adores and loves you." he laughed making his brother blush.

Clearing this throat, "Any ways, you can also pack some alcohol prep pads to go along with those bandaids, disinfecting is the best way to go before covering cuts, he showed the thin first aid pack he had to even have a butterfly for longer cuts." Kuon never thought of packing a boo-boo kit for him and Kyoko, now that he has an idea, he'll prep one for them.

Even though the tip was very simple, it was quite informative and helpful for any emergency. Later that afternoon, Kuon started to do some editing magic while Kyoko busied herself by doing the same for her own vlog.

Of course after Kuon uploaded his update, it became popular as ever and now plenty of his followers were begging to have more of those basic tips and advice, definitely embracing Julianne as their new favorite Onii-san who became a famous brotherly figure willingly teaching them basic life skills that would guide those young men on surviving society as well for adulthood.
