Part 12

A Day in Their Life

Waking up into a bustling and rowdy house is now a common occurrence within a year after his youngest son came home from college and his eldest with his wife-to-be moved back; laughing securities, complaining housekeepers at the noisy bunch, dogs happily barking and running around with staff's children, was a welcome sight and racket.

Kuu as usual would wake up extra early to start his day with a workout and rundown from his youngest son's head of security about any reports. Usually, Kuu would be accompanied by the dogs down the private beach after checking the weather report and water surveillance.

Once he's done taking the 'working security' doubling as their family pets for a walk, he'd then personally feed and give them treats for the job well done keeping everything nice and safe for the human inhabitants of their estate. Getting back, he'd then find his sons' nanny helping the chef preparing a massive breakfast feast for everyone.

Julie then joined him for coffee, "Why don't you wake up Sasha, signor?" the nanny smiled, she's been doing her best to help the father and son mend their relationship ever since she was called to work for the family again.

Kuu never went to wake up and greet his son after he turned seven, and hearing the woman suggest, it would be a nice change to do it again.

Julie had to agree and gave her husband a little push, Kuu gave her a kiss and left in a hurry, but every time he take a step on the stairs it becomes heavy, he still feels alittle cold and distant whenever his son gives him the confused look.

Knocking gently over his son's door, he then went a head and silently enter making sure not to suddenly wake him up. Slowly approaching the bed where he found Diesel all snuggled with his son. Kuu sat on his bedside and slowly patted him awake.

"Son... It's already seven, come and have some breakfast." Kuu informed, "Yaya Mel made you a big breakfast, it'll get cold if you keep on sleeping." Kuu always remembered how he would call his son up when he was little, as much as he wanted to carry his boy, sadly he's now six-foot seven and much taller and heavier than him.

Groggy Julianne hummed and turned over rubbing his eyes, Kuu then reached out to get his son's glasses making sure not to touch the lenses and get it smudge and handing it to him, "Thank you..." he yawned and patted his dog who huffled and whined.

As usual Julianne sleeps shirtless, Kuu also took a fresh cotton shirt from his son's closet for Julianne to wear. Kuu wanted to be part of his morning again and thus planned to ask the nanny if he can take over waking Julianne up.

Heading down, Kuon and Kyoko woke up as well and donning their cute matching robes.

The dining was clamoring from the random conversation, jokes and pranks pulled by the family members, staff and even the securities. The Hizuri family personnel has become a big part of their little family and accepted as their own. Per-usual Julie went a head and made plans for lunch which would pull her sons and future-daughter-in-law into the mix.

Of course, with the tight security and for safety reasons, the head of security and Julianne's aide suggested the safest restaurant the family could gather, "Oh! Chiori and Moko-chan are in town with the new members of Love Me section! Can I bring them along?" Kyoko asked and Julie was theilled to know Kotonami Kanae's in LA and would bond again with her, this time another of Kyoko's best friend and now juniors.

Kuon also informed, "Hiromune Igarashi and Kijima-san are here as well..." Kuu laughed.

"Bring them to join us for lunch. The more the merrier, right?" In Kuu's purpose, he wanted more company with his family, Julianne had no issues as well as he has met with them already.

The younger couple then informed the older couple about their plans for their morning schedule with the help of Yashiro and planned when to meet, "What about you, Sasha?" Kuu's pet name for his youngest.

Julie hid her amusement when Julianne felt flustered at his childhood name, it has been years since Kuu affectionately called him that. Clearing his throat, "Liam and I are planning to meet at some café for some business." sipping his coffee, still groggy.

With agreement on what time to meet for their lunch, Julianne informed his crew about the plans and went a head with their morning.

Kuon and Kyoko with their shared manager left for work first and was followed by the older couple, meanwhile Julianne was already and casually dressed for his friendly meeting. His men as usual followed their safety protocol and always on high alert whenever their beloved boss is out on the streets of California.

Making their short ride to the location, the pair Yuuya and the head chamberlain; Lugh went around securing the place before letting Julianne proceed. Hajime who is originally the driver would put himself to join the two protecting their employer. The Hizuris most especially Julianne treats all his personnel and private security his own brothers and sisters, and in return those men and women that kept him safe- affectionately treat him as their own younger sibling and close precious family

"All clear sheriff." Lugh allowed him out while the other two security kept their position on each side.

Safely entering the establishment, his childhood best friend came to greet him with a tight hug, to his surprise their other childhood friends were present too.

Kuu looks forward to their planned lunch dates, he gets to spend time with his family and it has become one of their routines, especially with their busy schedules. With Kuon and Kyoko bringing along their friends to join, Julie was thrilled to have them as well engaging them to a merry conversation. "When is Sasha coming, darling?" Julie asked her husband eagerly.

Kuu checked his phone to see the time, "I'll call him." Assuring his wife, but when he was about to dial Julianne's number, "Oh look, he's here." Just like true Hizuri fashion, Julianne gathered quite the audience and more female admirers when he stepped out his armored Bronco.

Still im his stylish attire, despite out of his usual slick business suits; rocking a white jeans, baby blue polo shirt and a pair of brown loafers. Julie's models who joined them for lunch were in awe seeing the their muse wearing something rare for a change.

Instructing his three companions; Lugh, Hajime and Yuuya, "Go grab a table nearby and order anything you want." The three gave a mock salute, happy their boss is always generous, "And order some takeouts for everyone at home and for later." It seems Julianne made plans with his three stooges.

Kyoko's love me juniors were awe struck at the three suit clad men that followed Julianne Hizuri, they were attractive with how they looked and even present themselves.

Kuu called his son to sit beside him, Julianne thanked his father for saving him a seat and surprised at the amout of guest they had.

And as usual, the models wasted no time to bother him, "So, how was your reunion?" Kuu striking a conversation.

"Oh..." putting down the menu, "Liam asked if I can help him write a motivational song for his new project." This surprised his father.

Intersted, "Really? So are you going to do it?" Kuu was excited since he knows his son had the talent and skill to act, he was however a little sad when Julianne retired but still proud of him.

Julianne replied, "I accepted, I missed making songs and playing with him." Julie as usual was making sure Kuu wouldn't make any awkward mistake.

Kuu on the other hand was really stoked hearing his son would be down to play along with his old best friends. When their food arrived, "Here, son... try this." Kuu placed a huge slice of meat on his youngest's plate.

Julianned took it and tasted- mid chew he did a slow head turn to his father who was talking to him about the dish.

Julie familiar of the gesture giggled catching the other's attention, "I told you, Sasha, its good right?" looked really pleased and chuckled putting more on his son's plate and adding more rice. Kuon and Kyoko were amused at how Kuu uses Julianne's nickname.

"Do you know how to make these?" Julianne asked and Kuu gloated he knows and can make him one when they get home.

It seems the advices their head housekeeper was giving the couple are working and bringing the inner childish behavior from their ever stern and stiff son, "And I got those bagoong and durian candies from the Asian market this morning." Kuu knows has the similar interests with his younest and he's also using it to his advantage.

Once their lunch was over, they were supposed to leave separately, but the younger couple decided to take their friends with them to hangout at home, and Julie's models tagged along wanting to spend time with the youngest Hizuri.

Sadly, they failed after Julianne went with his now off duty bodyguards by the beach and dug a donut shaped hole and placed a small grill in the middle and Julianne holding the marinated meat his father made like a prize.

Yuuya was just bouncing carrying cases of booze to share. Kuon shameless invited himelf at the boys' drinking session and dragging his Japanese celebrity friends along.

And just like Kuon, Kyoko pulled the girls and Julianne was kind enough to ask one of his guys to get the girls some cocktails. So far that afternoon, Kuon and Kyoko's friends uploaded in their respective social media and causing it to have another down time after flashing a half-naked-in-summer-wear-top-two celebrity bachelors plus Kuon who's been every ladies' dream. Of course Julie's internationally famous models and Kyoko's company in a very sexy two piece bikinis.

Of course the poor models were hilariously unnoticed by the oblivious Hizuri bachelor. They were actually wasn't subtle in their advances especially when they kept on complimenting him. Unlike his older brother who flaunted his abs and chest, Julianne adored his baby blue with flamingo tropical shirt and long brim Panama fedora his mother got him.

With the poor ladies ignored while Julianne complimented and gave his four legged best friend plenty of kisses and affection, in the distance Kuu and Julie watched the rowdy bunch by the beach hanging out.

Kyoko's juniors who were obvious with their stares at Julianne's company made Yashiro introduce them and play as a cupid.

With a playful snicker, "Hey cowboys, why dont you introduce yourselves to the newcomers?" inwardly giggling.

Lugh was the first one to introduce himself, "Hello, ladies. I'm Lugh, and Im Chief's Chamberlain, combat engineer and sniper expert." one of the girls giggled at his sly wink.

"And Im Hajime, I'm Sheriff's personal driver, mechanic and assults specialist." The silver haired man did a casual head nod upwards cooly.

And a polite inteoduction came from Julianne's head security, "I'm Chief's demolition expert, close combat, rifle specialist and head of security; Tenjou Yuuya, you may call me Yuuya." he made the raven haired girl blush when he held her hand for a shake.

Kyoko in interest pushed the girls to introduce themselves, "Hi... I'm Yue." the smallest of the juniors confidently started and happily took Hajime's hand.

"Hello and it's n-nice to meet you all, I'm Kaori." she then made a polite bow which helped by Yuuya to straighten up.

"And lastly" Kyoko turned to the silver haired girl.

"Dia Viekone." confidently offering her hand to Lugh again who gave it another kiss.

Shortly they noticed Julianne setting up to a distance with a guitar on hand and recording himself singing some type of a new island reggae song as he promised his childhood friend for a project.

The celebrities present were impressed and bobbed their heads from the beat of the acoustic guitar and catchy lyrics.

Its a wonderful day to be living life,

Im living days with a big smile,

I can see the couples being sweet and dogs play by the sea side,

I don't worry about problems and its feels amazing to be living my life with a smile

Kuon also told his friends that if Julianne did not pursue his life as an engineer, he's be making music with his childhood best friends instead.

Kuu breathed in content pulling his wife close as they watched the chaos insue by the beach, "You know darling, I see wonderful changes from you and Jules. You no longer have those nightmares making you cry during sleep, and I see Julianne going out more often." Julie leans her head looking satisfied, "But I'm not gonna lie, I'm always terrified he's going to get killed with all those threats."

Kuu bit his lip, "Likewise, babe. But I trust him and his chosen friends. They kept him safe, and they will continue to do so in the future." he assured, "But you know what, with this new daily things out family does, I have to get used to it and would love to have new things as our routine." Kuu changing the subject.

"Let's go join them?" Julie pulled him and went to join their childred and rescuing Julianne from her starving angels.

Extra: Throwback

Fathers' day, Kuon and Kyoko were occupied making Kuu a massive breakfast and making sure he feels appreciated.

However the father himself felt guilty if he deserved having to be treated as a good father considering how he broke his boys, especially the youngest- they almost permanently lost a few years ago.

Kuu was really pleased and felt grateful for what his eldest son and future-daughter-in-law was doing, but he was low-key hoping his youngest would at least greet him like he used to. Reminiscing the time where his little Sasha would jump on their bed giving him a tight hug and kisses letting him know he loves him.

Kuu in the middle of bathing had his tears fall, but once he was done freshening up, Julianne who woke up on his own greeted him good morning and sheepishly invited him for lunch, just the two of them for father's day.

Kuu's heart was thumping in excitement, and made plans where they are going to eat and hangout. "Are you busy today?" Kuu remembered that his son is always busy and considered his circumstance first.

But Julianne shook his head, "My day is open which is convenient and planned to stay home until lunch with you." This puts the father at ease.

Kuu thrilled that his son is not occupied, "Tell you what, why don't you go change into something nice and you can come with me to my set." Julianne for a change wore decent tropical shirt and another white long brim panama fedora his mother designed just for him. Kuu took his son to his work like old times and allowed him to wander around the place used to and find anything within his interest.

Kuu's female co-starts as usual would flock Julianne and took it upon himself to rescue the socially challenged son. In the safety of his private dressing room, he gave his son a breather.

Once done with his scene leaving his director friend satisfied, he and Julianne headed to the restaurant they planned to go. Hiddden at the very back for privacy, they shared decent conversation and good food. Kuu was a little sad that his son never greeted him but what they did for the day was even better and appreciated what he can get.

However what surprised him when Julie literally shoved her phone on his face playing a music video.

It was a compilation of Julianne and Kuon's childhood home videos with Kuu, and to his surprise the lyrics was actually the latest project of Liam, Julianne's closest childhood bestfriend and Julianne himself. The lyrics his son sung speaks to him, their story how rocky his teenage years to becoming young adult, but still grateful to be alive and spending it with his family.

"Darling, where's our 1999 albums of the boys?" Kuu asked.

This made his wife giggle, "Why? And what picture are you searching?"

Kuu with a warm smile, "My favorite." he said and Julie showed him the albums and Kuu immediately found what he was looking for.

In reply, he posted an old picture of him and his young sons on his shoulder and arm, with another recent picture with Kyoko joining the image, thanking his children for the day, and his youngest son's tribute.
