Part 13
Apple
Despite his age, Kuu Hizuri is still hard in action and preferred to do his own stunts, and because of it, he is now currently spending his days at home with a broken right leg after a freak accident from a stunt for his top rated drama series.
To console his feelings and loneliness, his youngest who had coincidentally the same day fell from his office roof and broke his left leg. Now, they were mopping in sadness being grounded by the matriarch at home.
Lazing in the living room with sports channel flashing the television, "Hey son, do you wanna bother Kuon?" Kuu mischievously asked.
Julianne who was about to fall asleep from the heavy medication, "Sure?" impulsively.
"Cool! Lets go!" Kuu then helped his sluggish son up and changed into a matching pair of shorts since they were rocking casts and pink tropical shirts.
With the crutches, they limped their way to the drive way and had Hajime take them to Kuon's location without notice to his manager.
Once they arrived, Eltra Duris was present and questioned the father and son, "What the hell happened?" Kuu's manager sarcasticly snorted while Julianne's aide gave an awkward cough.
Paul explained while diverting his gaze elsewhere, "The older prefered to do his own stunts." Kuu in response whipped his head and glared at his long time friend and manager.
Again, Lugh coughed rolling his eyes, "And the son insisted to install the turret on the roof himself and fell leg first." Julianne made a slow head turn and glared at his subordinate for snitching.
Eltra sighed, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." face palming, "Still stubborn I see?" and then turned to his charge who laughed guiltily.
Kuon puts his hands up, "On my defense, I do my stunts in the safest way possible or Kyoko would slit my neck." Kyoko behind him hummed in agreement.
Since they were on break, Kuon together with his manager and Kyoko headed to his dressing room taking his father and brother along.
His young female co-stars eyes were sparking seeing the armed bodyguards in a classy yet laidback attire standing beside their boss, guarding him securely.
The script writer on set could not help but admire and be inspired by the current looks, posture and demeanor of the three, Lugh standing behind Julianne in his slick all-black-three-piece-suit and bloody red ribbon tie, Hajime in the same black suit minus his suit coat, inner waistcoat while showing a bit of his chest leaving three buttons open and revealing his leather shoulder holster keeping a silver magnum sidearm by his side, while Yuuya stood on the left sophisticatedly in his all-black-attire 'U' shaped waistcoat, slim tie that's being secured by a silver clip.
"What made you guys come and visit?" Kyoko asked, but thrilled Kuu was there to watch her and Kuon act.
"Sasha and I were bored at home and decided to pop-in and watch live on set. besides, its been a while since Sasha set foot to a studio." Julianne used to be an actor and being on a set felt nostalgic.
When the director hearing it, "Do you guys want to make a quick cameo?" Pushing his luck, Kuu was expecting his youngest to refuse and would only agree if there's benefits for him.
But, "Sure." shrugging nonchalantly which surprised his father and brother.
In a heart beat, "I'm in!" Kuu grinned and wanted to bond with his sons in one production even if it was just a second of air time for them.
The director made a quick meeting with the managers as well as Lugh, and the script writer who voted in agreement where she can have the father and sons be in one frame.
Planning out a scene, Kuu and Julianne will actually play as Kuon's family and would be sharing a dinner with Kyoko. It is where Kuon will supposed to be having a brawl.
And since the script writer saw Julianne and Kuon's sparring, asked if it was alright if Julianne can join his brother to the brawl but concerned for his injured leg.
Julianne yet again shrugged and went with the scene, the stunt men who were playing as the thugs did not expect to be picked up with ease and thrashed from left to right by the younger Hizuri. Kuon had a hard time not to crack in character watching his calm brother throwing people left and right while his father being unbothered and continued to inhale the food offered on the table.
When the director called cut, Kuon and Kyoko doubled over from laughter and it took them a minute to calm down. "You okay, Jules?" Kuon asked.
Julianne calmed down from his rage play, "I guess... just a little frustrated though." he again shrugged.
Kyoko and Kuon understood why he was frustrated, but the others didn't, "Huh? Why?" the director confused.
"This." pointing at his leg.
Lugh then gave him a sarcastic look, "And who's fault was it, Chief?"
"Mine, but Im still intalling antenas and turrets myself." this caused his three top-hands to slap their foreheads.
Kuu laughed, "You better do your job keeping the stubborn boss of yours alive, boys!" It was unusual for Julianne to be a little stubborn and hurt himself, especially act up a little. Though, his three stooges understood that he's under heavy medication and uncomfortable.
Paul scowled at him, "Like Mr. Eltra mentioned, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree..." he said bitterly.
Lugh with a deep loud sigh, "You're not even rethinking your life choices, aren't you?"
Julianne shook his head, "Nuh-uh... not one bit, and I still need to install an additional antenna for that turret though." provoking his guys even more.
"There is a point in my employment sometimes where I want to hand in a resignation." Lugh deeply disappointed.
Julianne had an innocent smile, "No one's quitting unless I decide to dismiss anyone, but there's zero chance I'd let you shuffle your way to Nakahara's door." The boys knew their boss considers them family and there will be no way they can be fired.
Yuuya shooks his head in disappointment for his boss, "Apparently, we're doing a terrible job at it." he sighed.
"I don't know if my work as a merc will end me first or the heart attacks from Sheriff's stubborn streak." Hajime also expressed his disappointment.
Julianne adorably pouted for once, "Oh pipe it. Im alive, just with a broken leg." The girls on set blushed at his adorable expression. meanwhile he scratched and tried to reach his finger down the loose space of his cast, "Are they always this itchy?"
Kuon still amused at the exchange, and Kuu chuckling "Considering he can yeet those big guys easily, Sasha's fine." Kuu vouched.
Once the props crew finished retouching the set and having the choreographer explain at the brothers where to throw the stunt men, this time Julianne followed the instructions and completed the scene in one take. Still, some of the parts from the first were taken as well since it looked organic.
Getting home, Julie was not pleased that her boys exhausted themselves by being in a scene but relented knowing they had fun. The story about Julianne throwing those huge men with ease became another fuel for memes about him being his bodyguards' guardian instead.
Kuon was very proud to share online the behind the scenes where his brother and father joined him on set and for a certain scene.
And since it's the weekend, Julianne was dragged by his closest stooges to another drinking spree by the pool, where they set up some foldable camping chairs, table and a tiny grill, together was a lonely and mopping Kuon also in house arrest after a mishap.
Kuu working the grill and handing the boys some good juicy meat as chaser for their drinks, "As I was informed there were supposed to be only two Hizuris that got injured, what happened to you?" A baffled man in an Egyptian outfit walked in.
Kuon gave an awkward chuckle, "Like what Mr. Duris said... the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Kuu grinned and gave a peace sign, while his sons guilty looked away.
Meanwhile Yashiro snorted, "Jinxed" and this caused the other security to burst into laughter.
Extra: The Hangover
It was the usual weekend, the three top-hands' days off but still prefers to stick around their beloved employer's side, and gragging him to their usual excessive drinking spree, setting up the mini grill and a huge box of cooler by the dug-out sand where they often sit and hangout, just under the shade provided by the palm tree.
The three men prefers to flash their upper bodies and bask under the sun living in comfort without the prying eyes of any annoying females trying to get their attention or bothering them.
Meanwhile their boss, preferred to cover up with his stylish tropical shirts. Kuon on his free time enjoys hanging out with the bachelors and often record their fun and chaotic drinking session by the beach, hilarious when Julianne gets one too many, he'd start a crash-course in engineering while Hajime would pull out his iPad and intently starts drafting the ideas laid out, Yuuya would doze off and already rolling on the sand with his new puppy, while Lugh keeps on distributing shots after shots and bottles of booze to everyone, especially the one that kept on escaping, and for a rare occasion, Julianne's trusted lawyers were present, one was mopping and crying after his fifth shot, while the other trying to escape, but Lugh had a tight hold and kept serving him more shots.
And since its a special weekend having more company, Kuon being laid off from work for a while due to his recent injury- is joining them, "What do you think about Jules?" quickly whipping out his phone with his good hand. Kuon was playing the drinking stereotypes with Yashiro who remained sober.
"I call it the Master Class." they shared quite the laghter after naming the first one.
Kuon then added, "I say Yuuya-kun is the Aurora of the bunch." they dubbed the poor-lightweight-head of security as one of the cortoon princesses.
They burst out in laughter when Yaahiro added, "I'd say its not a true-love's kiss that would wake him up. It's going to be a dose of either Tylenol or Ibuprofen and a good puke." Kuon's hand was shaking and failed to focus the phone.
Kuon turned his attention to the scheming chamberlain, "What about Lugh?"
Yashiro thinks for a second and replied, "The Boogeyman."
Kuon confused, "Why?"
"Look at him... He's like that scary monster causing death to poor Kazuya-kun!" Yashiro explained making Kuon burst in laughter yet again, Yashiro on the other hand shook his head in disappointment. "And I think I don't need to explain why is Kazuya-san is called 'the walking dead' after the amount of mixed concoction forced to his system." Kuon was coughing from the creative stereotype names.
Panning his phone camera at the other lawyer that seems emotional and crying his wife's name, "And we have Wein-kun." Kuon was totally snorting watching the overly-emotional man begging for his wife.
"Ah... yes... my personal favorite, the 'Werewolf' He either turns aggro, or an emotional wreck, depending on the topic about his wife." Yashiro was well acquainted with all the staff and associates of Julianne, especially their families that often comes visit the estate for business.
After another hour, Kyoko arrived and fetched her temporary disabled husband-to-be and barely sober shared manager, meanwhile Julianne and Hajime continued their drinking spree while creating questionable abomination of hardwares in his personal workshop. One of the two lawyers is passed out under the coconut tree, the other was dragged by his wife home after weeping like a tortured banshee, Lugh passed out in Julianne's sofa like a normal drunk and Yuuya was left by the porch by Julianne and Hajime after half way dragging him.
