Natsu did not sleep well that night.

Only because he was trapped in a very large quiet room and there wasn't a busty blonde asleep beside him. She did sneak in during the night and blew him till he was seeing stars but it didn't help that she slipped away sometime in the night and left him all alone and horny. He spent the majority of the night tossing and turning and being a brat because he knew he couldn't sneak over to her room because he was afraid of who or what was watching but also that Lucy had specific rules when it came to her home and he wasn't going to fuck with that.

Rich people are scary and he did not want to unleash the wrath of whoever dared to catch them and it didn't help that Lucy had been so upset about her father's absence that he didn't want to sour her further.

Though, she did suck the shit out of his dick to the point he could still feel his spine tingling but he regretted not being able to pleasure her out of her misery.

Eventually he did get some sleep but not a lot as he woke up with the sun in the sky and birds chirping as if he was fucking Snow White being awoken from his slumber but his princess was across the hall and he was fucking exhausted. He wondered if he could force Lucy in taking a nap with him because he needed a big fucking cup of coffee (or alcohol) to wake him up and he was going to crash sooner than later.

He squinted and glared at his phone, seeing how it wasn't even seven in the morning and there was no way Lucy was up at this hour. He didn't even get up this early on a normal day. Would it be indecent for him to just barge into her room? To see if he could crawl into her bed just for a little morning time? It is his favorite.

Cursing while sitting up in his bed, Natsu rolled his neck and joints around for it to pop. He groaned and smacked his lips together, blinking into the clean sheets before he was up on his feet and dragging himself into the bathroom.

He did his business and splashed some cold water on his face to wake him up but the bags under his eyes screamed at him through his reflection. He was quick to brush his teeth and didn't bother changing out of his sleepwear before he was slowly opening his bedroom door to peek around.

The coast was clear and he was being extra quiet, shutting the door with a soft click and then tiptoeing right across the hall to slowly and quietly turn her doorknob. His eyes flickered down the halls to ensure nobody was to see him and he was grinning to himself as he was able to go into her bedroom and not get caught.

He turned around to see his princess still asleep in bed, the veil draped across her mattress in such a romantic manner as the sunlight broke through the curtains. He walked closer to her and found his heart racing at the sight of his sweet princess asleep with a sleep mask over those chocolate eyes and sprawled out.

Unable to contain his mirth any longer, Natsu quietly hopped into bed with her, enjoying the way her silk sheets felt against his skin and the warmth of the bed. He was smiling, scooting in and delicately wrapping himself around Lucy who stirred slightly. A small whine fell from her lips and Natsu shushed her, cooing at her softly while brushing her hair away. His warmth allowed her to go right back to sleep, soft snores spilling out of her lips while she curled into his side.

He was instantly at peace, his own body betraying him as he relaxed and began to doze off with his prize in his arms. He tangled his legs with hers, ensuring she was trapped and wouldn't disappear, and soon fell asleep.

By the time he woke up again, he was alone in bed and he was getting real fucking tired of it.

He was in her bed in her room and she left him?! Why didn't she even wake him up? More specifically with his dick inside of her one of her holes.

Natsu groaned and kicked off her nice comforter and threw a fit, throwing his limbs around in protest.

What does a man have to do to get some quality time with his girl around here?

Natsu felt crazy. Which he was, but he felt borderline obsessed with his little girlfriend and he needed her to be in bed in his arms and not wherever the hell she could be.

With his sensitive ears, Natsu could hear the water splashing on the other side of the door to her bathroom and he perked up, throwing himself to the edge of the bed to roll out. He was giddy to find his girlfriend in the bath and he had a huge grin on his handsome face as he burst through the door and Lucy shrieked as she covered herself in the tub.

Until she noticed it was her boyfriend and she let out a loud sigh, body visibly relieved.

"Natsu! You scared me! Don't just burst into places like that!"

"You left me," he ignored her, a pout on his lips as he crossed his arms across his chest. "Even after I snuck over here, you left me. Again."

Natsu had a hard time even speaking to his girlfriend about such depressing matters as all he could concentrate on was the sweet scent of strawberries and her naked glory. She looked extra soft and extra clean and he was watching in jealousy that a bead of water slid down her neck and in between her breasts when it could be him.

"Natsu, we talked about this last night. You shouldn't have even done that. What if one of the maids—?"

"Fuck the maids." Natsu was quick to dismiss them and ignored the scowl on her face. "I miss you, babe. You know the mornings are my favorite." He whined in that voice she loved so much and she was putty to him as he crawled over to her tub, sitting at the edge as he dipped his fingers into the warm water. "And you're even taking a bath without me." His puppy eyes were lethal and Lucy cringed at how corrupted she had become to his eyes.

Lucy sighed and rolled her eyes, pushing herself to the edge of the tub so she could peek over the edge at him. His bottom lip was pushed and he really did a great job at the sad kicked puppy on the side of the road gig because he really did look too sad for her mushy self.

"I made up for it last night, didn't I?" She caressed the side of his face and she swore he was purring as he leaned into her touch.

"No, you left me high and dry all alone. I barely slept!"

"I'm sorry you feel this way, Natsu."

"This sucks." He huffed, glaring at the bubbles on the surface of the tub as she giggled. "If I knew I couldn't sleep in the same bed as my girlfriend then I wouldn't have suggested coming."

"Would you rather I come by myself?"

"I would rather have you sleeping next to me than across the hall."

"We can't have everything we want."

"Funny coming from a heiress," he scoffed, ignoring the way Lucy glared at him. "Can I at least come in?"

Lucy sighed out loud and shifted in the tub where the water splashed around, her back pressed against the tub. "Fine, but not long—"

Natsu was already stripping out of his sleep clothes, not even listening to what else she had to say. He was shivering as he got in the tub and the water rose with his body easing into the water and Lucy couldn't help but smile at the way the rosy-haired male moaned. He was quick to make his way over to her and grab her by the waist, dragging her across the tub and into his lap.

He nuzzled himself against her neck and she squealed, laughing out loud as he pressed open mouth kisses on her skin.

"God, I missed you so much." He murmured and she shivered at the way his breath forced goosebumps to rise on her skin.

"You are ridiculous," she said but she was wrapped around him as well, body pressed against each other. "I missed you, too."

Natsu purred against her and he was nipping playfully against her shoulder, his pout now replaced with a bright smile.

He was back where he belonged and now nothing can stop him now—

A knock on the door had the couple both jolt, eyes widening as Lucy gasped out loud. She immediately shoved her hand against Natsu's lips to keep him quiet and he stared at her with wide, scared eyes.

"Y—yes?" Lucy called out, holding a finger to her lip to indicate for him to be quiet.

"Miss Lucy, breakfast is ready for you and Mr. Natsu whenever you're done in the bath."

"W—what?" Lucy almost sputtered out, her face growing hot. "N—Natsu and I are not in the bath together!" She almost screeched in embarrassment, her heart pounding. They shared a wild look at one another and Lucy's face couldn't grow a deeper shade of red even if she tried.

"Excuse me, my apologies, Miss Lucy. I didn't mean to imply you are, I am simply putting it as when you are done in the bath and have reunited with Mr. Natsu for the morning."

Natsu slapped his hand against his forehead, his eyes narrowing to look at the blonde whose mouth opened in a silent cry. He rolled his eyes and Lucy scowled at him, hissing at his amused looking expression while she kept her hand over his mouth to hide the smirk he probably had.

"O—okay," she stuttered out and she took a deep inhale. "We'll be downstairs shortly."

The sound of her footsteps echoed and the shut of the door allowed Lucy to exhale. She pulled her hand away from Natsu's mouth and she just knew her boyfriend would have this stupid look to his face. Her eyes narrowed and she huffed, puffing her cheeks out in frustration.

"Oh shut it. I don't want to hear it."

"Even I could have told you that she wasn't implying we were in the bath," He leaned back against the tub, snickering at the way she glared at him through her embarrassment. "Way to play it cool, babe."

"Oh shut up!" She huffed, turning around in the tub to face her back to his front. "Now be useful and wash my hair for me."

"Yes, Miss Lucy, anything for you m'lady." He said jokingly and she turned to glare at him over her shoulder.

"Don't start that with me, Mr. Natsu."

Natsu only chuckled and leaned in to press his lips against her shoulder, gathering up all her wet hair to push to the side. "Yes, Miss Lucy."

—X—

After taking a nice relaxing bath where Natsu scrubbed Lucy clean, he was delighted to know she returned the favor by running her fingers through his locks. He could only groan into her palms, his leg practically kicking out as he relished in the feeling of the massage. It took a bit too long for them to get out though as he got distracted by the way her tits looked and felt with soap all over them and he spent a good amount of time lathering her body up.

Gray would be proud of him for not jumping Lucy every single chance he got. He's been such a good boy the past couple weeks as the presence of their parents got to the best of them.

Lucy had to go to his room to collect clothes for him since he was only in a towel and she wanted him dressed for the day. To say he wasn't scared shitless someone was going to burst through the door to see him only in a towel sitting on the Lucy Heartfillia's bed was an understatement. He felt anxious as he waited for her to come back and he suddenly got such a brilliant idea in finding her an outfit since she was finding him one so he ventured into her maze of a closet to look for something she could wear.

He was still in awe with the layout, curious hands sliding open doors to peek in and see what she had. She even had this ridiculously big island smack dab in the middle of her closet and from what it looked like, all her accessories and underwear were tucked into it.

Why did this woman need twenty different belts with at least half of them looking exactly alike? Or literally the same pair of earrings but in different sizes? Just what the hell did she need all this for?

It was overwhelming him and he was low key panicking now as he tried to think of something to pick out for her.

But why did all these goddamn dresses look exactly the same and why did this woman have to color code so all he was staring at was clothes that look all too similar.

"Natsu?" Lucy's voice had echoed from the bedroom.

"In here!" He was frantic now, trying to shove drawers back in and shut doors.

Soon, she came back in her fluffy pink robe and arm full of clothes for him. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to pick an outfit for you since you're picking one for me but it's honestly super overwhelming here." He admitted sheepishly, coming over to grab the pile of clothes from her hands. "Why the hell do you color code? You don't do this at school."

"It's easier to color code in this closet versus the small one I have at school, Natsu. And besides, I can't bring all my stuff with me." She giggled at the way he twisted his lips and furrowed his brow at her.

Natsu dropped his towel and got dressed, yanking up his boxers and socks on each foot while Lucy went about doing her own thing, going from one drawer to another.

In a way, Natsu felt like they were newlyweds getting dressed in their closet and having to spend the day full of bliss.

But it stressed him out to think that he really did have to work his ass off so he could provide Lucy the life she deserves. This princess has had everything from the moment she was born and if he started to slack now, he didn't know if he would be able to give her the big ass house she wants or the bigger closet she needs.

"What's the agenda for today?" Natsu asked while he was popping one foot into each pant leg at a time, hopping around slightly.

"The weather seems nice so maybe we could go swimming for a bit and then try out the courts and whatever else." Lucy offered a wide smile as she shimmed up on a white tennis skort, the pleated material catching his eyes. He watched how she paired it with a nice matching blue and white top, nodding to himself in approval. "First, let's go get some breakfast."

Natsu perked up at the mention of food and the two were rushing to finish up their morning task before heading downstairs to the dining room.

The stomach clenching scent of cinnamon, bacon, and fresh squeezed orange juice had his stomach gurgling and he practically barreled through the doors when he saw an unfamiliar body already sitting at the table. He didn't even have time to process what was going on before Lucy was beside him and growing stiff as a board.

"Good morning, Lucy!" His cheerful voice chirped and Natsu stood there staring at what must have been her father.

He was all smiles and sunshine as he waved at his baby girl and Natsu turned to look at Lucy frowning, her bottom lip pinched between her teeth.

When he placed a hand on the small of her back, she jumped and turned to look at him with a slight flush and wide eyes. "Sorry, um, I just wasn't expecting my dad to be here."

"I knew it," Natsu whispered under his breath while Lucy started to drag him over towards the large table where a spread of breakfast items were scattered.

Lucy's father had a bunch of smile lines all over his face but he could see the wrinkles that were produced with his scowls. He was taller than he is but not by much but he was really trained on that mustache because how did he get it so perfectly combed and shiny like that?

"Hi daddy, I didn't think you were still here." Lucy spoke softly, rocking back and forth on the ball of her feet while the two approached him.

Natsu cleared his throat trying to distract and adjust himself, the sound of her even saying daddy making him grow hard.

"This is my boyfriend, Natsu, the one I told you about over the phone." She motioned towards him and Natsu grew stiff as the dark eyes of Jude Heartfillia pinned on him.

Natsu offered a little smile, thrusting his hand out to the businessman who eyed his hand. "Hello, Mr. Heartfillia. It is such a pleasure meeting you and being in your lovely home. Your daughter is a real firecracker."

Natsu felt a bit awkward as Jude just stared at his hand, not moving a muscle to return the gesture. unl he was. He could practically see Lucy seething with annoyance at his lack of manners but he didn't take any offense to it as he shoved his hands back into his pocket.

"So, Natsu, was it?"

Natsu grew stiff and slowly nodded his head as he and Lucy found open seats.

"Lucy tells me you're an engineering major. Any particular reason why you picked this course of study?"

It was hot as hell out of nowhere and he was glad Lucy was fixing him a plate because his hands were shaking. But he remembered? Maybe there was hope.

"I'm very into chemistry and building things by scratch. I hope to become a chemical engineer in the future and be the best I can to provide for your daughter." Natsu exchanged a glance with Lucy who gave him a bashful smile.

It was as if the silence couldn't get any louder as everyone in the room turned to look at the college student in shock. Natsu didn't know if he liked this side of Jude as he barely looked at him or responded. He seemed like he wasn't interested in him at all but all at the same time he was. Asking him questions about where he's from, where his parents are from, how long he has been attending MU and if he were to pursue a masters.

His tone wasn't anything special but more of a flat monotone and he wondered if he was this boring in real life as he was right now. Jude didn't seem to give a shit about him or what were to become of them but he definitely did give a shit about his daughter when he was all smiles and coos at the younger blonde.

Lucy would merely scowl and flush, brushing her father off who would place extra croissants on her plate because he knew she liked those.

Natsu tried to talk back to Jude and ask questions but he didn't seem interested anymore as he flat out ignored him and asked Lucy if she would want more fruit. So he took the hint that Jude was done interrogating him and shoveled food into his mouth. Lucy seemed alright but not nearly as good as he liked her to be. He could see how she clenched her fists under the table and gave that god-awful fake smile she thought was so cute.

By the time he was going for this third plate, Jude had stood from his seat. He tucked the newspaper he had under his arm and came over to where Lucy sat to place a hand on top of her golden hair and then a small kiss on top.

"Hope you kids have fun today. I'll see you for dinner," Jude cooed at Lucy who huffed and swatted at him. "Oh, and daddy said he had a surprise for you, remember?"

Natsu watched from the corner of his eye how Jude fished into his pocket and handed her a set of keys he recognized to be a sports car. He tried his best not to drop the food in his mouth as his jaw became slack to see that Lucy's father gifted her a goddamn Porsche for whatever the hell the reason was this time.

"Daddy got it painted in a sparkly pink for you!"

"Thanks," Lucy barely acknowledged the keys he placed in her hands, tossing the metal keys onto the dining table. "Daddy, I love Natsu."

Natsu choked on the piece of pineapple he was mid-chewing and he turned crimson at the fact she just told her father she loves him when he's right next to her. What the hell was she trying to do? Get him skinned alive?

Jude seemed to narrow his eyes to look at him and Natsu gulped, offering an awkward and wobbly smile.

"As long as you're happy, dear." He patted her one last time on the shoulder before he was whirling around and walking away.

Natsu didn't know how to take this interaction as his jaw dropped and he watched his girlfriend's father disappear through the doorway.

In a way it could have been worse but it also could have been better. He doesn't doubt that her father already dug into his personal files and knew everything he had already told him during their brief breakfast exchange.

He didn't know how to read Lucy as she silently sat in her seat pushing a single grape back and forth on her plate.

Jude clearly shows he loves and adores his little girl but he also shows he prioritizes his business before ensuring his little girl is alright.

"Hey, babe?" Natsu called out for her and she lifted her head up to look at him. "You okay?"

"I guess," she sighed loudly, plopping her elbow on the table as she leaned her head against her arm while continuing to play with her food. "Sorry he was such a dick to you."

"I kind of expected it but it honestly wasn't that bad." He waved her apology off as he chased his last omelet with a cup of orange juice. "Don't need to worry about me, I have thick skin." He grinned and he liked how she gave him a small smile. "But I am going to worry about you. You've been so out of it, are you okay?"

Lucy stayed silent for a couple heartbeats before she sighed out loud and dropped her fork. It clattered loudly against her plate and she looked at him with such adorable doe eyes he had a hard time peeling his eyes away from her.

"Honestly? No. I don't like how he treated you and it's ridiculous that he's acting like that. He didn't even apologize for missing dinner last night. He knew you and I were coming home yesterday and he didn't even care to call me or anything! I'm just honestly so fed up with it all and he wonders why I don't come home as often." She scoffed, shoving her plate away from her so she didn't keep messing with it. "I'm sorry I can't give you what you gave me. Igneel was so loving and warm and my father is just the complete opposite." She grimaced as if she had eaten something rotten. "And then he just thinks just because he gives me such nice, expensive things that I'm going to just magically forget about it…" she started to finger the car keys in front of her, grumbling.

Natsu watched her play with the key fob before his eyes found her annoyed face again. "Well, we both can't have great dads and I'm sorry you have to be the one to take one for the team." He reached over to place a hand on top of hers that were fiddling with the key fob. "On the bright side, you just got a brand new car. Could I take you on a ride?"

Lucy could see how excited Natsu looked as his eyes kept flickering down at the fob underneath their hands to her face, a sparkly look mirroring his features. She giggled and opened her palm up to let him take the fob and he was bright and giddy as he looked over the car keys.

"You'll be fine driving a pink sparkly Porsche?"

"Luce, I don't give a fuck if it has a pair of tits or dick and balls on the thing. It's a fucking Porsche and I am going to drive it."

She gave him a genuine laugh and smile after that and he gave her a sweet kiss that had her melting into it. He gave her a wide grin and the two finished up their breakfast before Natsu was excitedly running back and forth in circles to have her bring him to the garage.

She just kept giggling as he mirrored a golden retriever puppy, his invisible tail wagging aggressively.

She guided him towards the garage where she knew her new car was probably sitting in and when she opened the door and the light flickered on, she could barely contain her laughter when Natsu was back to dropping his jaw.

Inside the nice six car garage was more than what Natsu was expecting. Honestly, he didn't know what he was expecting because this man probably has enough cars he could rotate around for the entire year.

"Holy shit, your dad has an Aston Martin?" He gawked before his eyes found a nice slick sports car. "And a Bugatti?!"

"So all these cars along this wall are all my dads," she pointed to the left side of the wall where a row of sedans, convertibles, and SUVs sat. "And these are all mine."

Natsu could pass out from all the excitement and shock as he eyed the six cars that were all either sparkly pink or white with sparkly pink accessories.

He sucked in air and turned to look at his girlfriend with tears in his eyes and she was rolling her eyes at his whimpering.

"Did I tell you how much I love you?"

"I love you, too," she smiled, sharing a quick kiss with him. "Now, which one would you like?"

"All of them!"

Laughing out loud, Lucy opened the garage door and gave him a wide grin. "Anything for you."

Natsu was in heaven.

He truly was beginning to love and enjoy the life of luxury as Lucy allowed him to drive her nice expensive cars around town. He loved how they rode so smoothly and how nice the heated leather was under his weight. Even the looks he got was something he ate up because he was so fucking cool and these motherfuckers wished they were as cool as he is.

He even had Lucy snap photos of him to send to his dad and Gray to rub in their faces that his girlfriend is that awesome and he had to turn his phone off because Gray wouldn't stop blowing up his phone to come pick him up from MU.

Ain't nobody gonna get in the way of his time with his girl and he sure as hell ain't going to go pick that douchebag up.

But after driving around for a couple hours where Lucy showed him the area, he found himself really enjoying himself just being with her. She was all smiles and giggles as she showed him the cafe she used to go to after school with her classmates and the park she liked to come run in some days. They even drove past her high school and his jaw dropped at the prestigious all girls private school that stood tall and wide.

He really was tempted to ask if she still had her uniform because his mind was going at a thousand miles per hour by imagining him ramming into her with her uniform on.

When they had returned home, lunch was already made and prepared for them so Lucy requested it be taken out to the pool so they could enjoy it out there. Natsu was a giddy little boy as they changed into their swimsuits and ventured out to the massive outdoor pool.

The sight was nothing like anything he had seen before as he took a dip in her giant pool, eating lunch and talking about random things as he stared out into the vast land of the Heartfillia estates. He tried his best to keep Lucy's mind off her father as he stuck to her like the love sick puppy he was. Constantly kissing her and touching her in any way he could to fuel his obsession with the blonde heiress.

He didn't care if anyone saw him all over her, as long as he didn't say or do anything raunchy, he realized Lucy didn't care either.

So while he laid on her stomach with the sun naturally drying him, he found himself in heaven. His girl was running her fingers through his damp hair while she read her novel and he was content, sighing lovingly into her chest.

Natsu Dragneel is in love and he now fully knows what it was like to be in love.

He knew it was love. He didn't second guess it or think he was. He is and he didn't know why it took him this long to come to terms with it because this woman was perfect for him and he wasn't willing to let her go.

He could imagine her as the perfect wife with her perfect swollen belly that will give him the perfect kids.

Moving down to press his head against her stomach, he was purring into her touch while she giggled and he pressed a kiss against her abdomen.

"Let me put a baby inside of ya, Luce." He stroked her flat stomach with his palm, images of it swollen with his baby popping up.

"What did I say about threats like that?" She gave him a playful smile as her eyes were now on his face instead of her book in her hand. "I'm not popping out kids till I get a nice ring on my finger."

"Well even if I do put a baby in you, you still have nine months in between so how about it?"

"I'm not going to get pregnant so we can have a shotgun wedding, Natsu." She rolled her eyes.

"It's not a shotgun wedding when I want to marry you, anyways. It'll just be a regular wedding with the bonus of a baby."

Lucy sighed as he gave her a cheeky grin. "How about we talk about getting married before you talk about impregnating me."

"Why not both?" He now sat up, straddling the bench as he faced her. He had a wide smile to his face as she furrowed her brows.

She pursed her lips and stared at him hard, squinting her eyes. "Seriously?"

"Dead serious."

Lucy sighed one more time as she closed her book shut and placed it on the table beside her. She sat up straighter, giving him her undivided attention as she gave him the floor to talk.

Natsu beamed, grabbing her ankles to place them in his lap while he squared his shoulders and rolled his neck around as if he was warming up to a fight. Lucy snorted at his actions and he grinned at her in response.

"Alright so here's the plan. We go to the courthouse tomorrow and then we get down to business and get you pregnant."

A silence ticked by without Natsu saying anything else but that and she sat there blinking right back at him."That's your plan?" She asked in disbelief as he sat there smiling at her. "That's a horrible plan with no type of structure."

"Alright smartass, what's your brilliant plan?" He rolled his eyes, leaning back to give her a nice view of his chest and abs. He lolled his head to the side and she gave him such a heated look he was half tempted to rip her swimsuit off and take her right there.

"Okay, fine," she huffed, slightly irritated at the way he was grinning at her. "First of all, you need to get a ring because how are you going to propose without a ring? Once you get the ring, you plan the proposal because this is a big thing, right?" She waited for Natsu's small head nod and she continued. "So you buy the ring and plan the proposal and then that's when we can decide if we just go to the courthouse for a simple elopement or plan for a huge wedding."

"Ooh, huge wedding—"

"Let me stop you right there," Lucy held her hand up to stop Natsu's cooing. "You know how our brothers and sisters are. I cannot afford to replace everything and anything they destroy and it's going to be a disaster trying to keep everything nice."

Natsu scoffed. "We're rowdy, so what? We know how to have a good time."

"Not at a wedding. Especially a nice, expensive wedding like ours would be."

"Psh," he waved his hand out at her to dismiss it and she sighed.

"Anyways, and then after the wedding I would very much like to spend a year or two just us before we start talking kids because kids are forever and I don't want to give up my freedom just yet."

"One to two years?!" Natsu echoed in disbelief as Lucy quirked a brow at him. "I'm talking about putting a baby in you now but you're over here planning stuff that's like a four to five year commitment."

"A baby is a lifetime commitment, idiot."

"You are a lifetime commitment," he grinned as he grabbed at her to reel her in closer and she was whining but allowed him to do it. She sat in front of him with her legs over his hips and she pouted like the spoiled brat she was but he was making her melt with how gently he was brushing his thumbs against her chin and the soft look in his eyes.

He leaned down to plant a sweet kiss on her plump lips and she was back to smiling and giggling against his lips as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

Natsu swore he was in heaven because he was pretty content with sitting here forever with his girl in his lap with her tongue in his mouth and nothing could ever change his mind that he's where he's supposed to be.

"I'm just gonna have to put a baby in ya myself."

"Well how else would it work?" She rolled her eyes at him playfully and she was smiling as he grabbed her by the cheeks and kissed her so lovingly. "I want two."

"Well I want four."

"Four?!"

"Yeah! That way I have my own basketball team!"

"Oh for the love of—"

Surprisingly, Lucy's father showed up to dinner and Natsu didn't know if it was a good or bad thing because Lucy had tensed up once more and was using that stupid fake smile she has. He, of course, was as quiet as he could be since Lucy was in a weird funk and his future father-in-law (he just didn't know it, yet) didn't say a single word to him. He barely acknowledged him when they had come since he was more focused on his little sunshine but his little sunshine was a bit cloudy and it seemed as if thunderstorms were going to roll in.

Natsu had no idea her daddy issues ran this deep. She was such a brat and he was surprised to see her act this way towards her own father but then again, Jude doesn't seem like he really cares how she speaks to him as long as she's healthy. Lucy was a literal shot-down puppy who yelped and whined for help but her father seemed to only look at the puppy part because this man loves the hell out of his baby girl.

He could even see that from the small interactions he witnessed but it seems like a lot of stuff went over his head rather than in as Lucy continued to cry out for him.

Natsu had to place a hand on her arm to bring her back from her anger as she was clenching her fork so tightly in her hands, her knuckles were turning white.

He was kind of glad they were going to leave in a couple days because he sure as hell did not know what he was going to do if he had to continuously sleep by himself and tiptoe to even get a good ass smack in. And the idea of having to deal with moody Lucy when daddy comes around and then flipping to a moody daddy when he comes around was exhausting.

He was drained from doing all of this and he already planned on sneaking over to Lucy's bedroom tonight in hopes of reliving some of this unnecessary stress.

On the bright side, Natsu had been living the life of luxury he never thought was going to be possible for him and even Jude's sourness wasn't going to take that away from him.

So he shoveled delicious food into his mouth in hopes to keep himself distracted from this weird, awkward silence between father and daughter. Well, more so Lucy answering in a gruff one word answer while Jude seemed to not acknowledge her change in mood at all.

He felt a bit bad since Lucy was fuming and pushing her food around on her plate while glaring at her father from time to time and the man didn't even notice (or chose not to) as he continued to read the goddamn newspaper and drink from a mug.

"Daddy," She spoke, making him hum in response while barely looking up at her through his cellphone. "Natsu and I want to get married."

Natsu choked on his food as he heard Lucy announce to the entire room what he already knows to be accurate but it was the fact that she was blurting this out to him out of nowhere. He looked over at his girlfriend in bewilderment as she didn't even look at him but was staring right at her father who had froze mid-way from drinking from his mug.

His eyes darted from Lucy to her father who seemed to be having some kind of staring match with his daughter and Natsu decided to pause in inhaling his food for the time being because he could just feel how thick the tension was. And he really did want to enjoy his dinner without the worry of choking.

"What was that, darling?" He spoke first, setting the mug down finally as he leaned back into his seat.

"I said, Natsu and I want to get married."

"Lucy—" Natsu tried to hiss at her to stop but she waved him off, continuing to stare at her father across the table.

"I love Natsu and he loves me and we want to get married."

"I hope this sudden marriage proposal isn't because you are expecting—"

"No! No!" Natsu suddenly shouted, waving his hands in the air in front of him as the two Heartfillia's turned to look at his frantic state. "I don't know what Lucy is talking about," he gave her a pointed look as she glared right back. "Yes, I do plan on marrying your daughter one day and yes I do love and adore your daughter like no other but we aren't pregnant." He exchanged an uneasy look with Lucy who gave him a bored look right back. "Are not. Not pregnant."

"But we want babies. A lot of them." Lucy finished off and Natsu wanted to just grab her by the throat and shut her off before she made things worse.

He was flushed from the embarrassment and horror, mainly because Lucy was throwing a tantrum and he did not expect her to be acting so brazen. He could literally see her daddy issues jumping out and she was crying for his attention but it seemed like daddy didn't care to see. But how could she use him for ammunition because this man sure as hell does not seem like he likes him and now Lucy is talking about marrying and having a lot of babies with him!

Natsu really needed a shot or six as he looked around for something to quench his thirst. His hands were shaky as he thought about how this man could make him disappear without a single trace.

He was so going to strangle Lucy for this later.

"Lucy," Jude spoke and this made Natsu sit up straighter as if he was the one getting in trouble. He scowled when he noticed Lucy didn't even bother with her father, a roll of her eyes and her slouching into her seat with a pout being the only response. "I'd like to speak with Natsu, alone. Would you please give us the space to do so?"

Oh, fuck. Natsu's eyes were wide as dinner plates, his entire body growing cold. Fuck. Fuck! FUCK.

Natsu was full on panicking as his eyes darted from the room to find his exit just in case he had to make a dash for it. He didn't even know if he could escape considering they had so many staff and he wasn't sure how many were still lingering for the day. He didn't remember the layout of the estate just yet but he was sure he could probably make a run for it and be alright. Even if they shot him in the leg, he could most definitely try and crawl his way out of this situation.

He was sure he could quickly make some kind of will so his belongings and Happy could be safe. He didn't know so much about his girlfriend though since she was over here painting a goddamn target at him.

He didn't think he would die so young. He was only twenty-one, almost twenty-two, and he had so much he wanted to do.

"Why do you need me to leave so you can talk to my boyfriend?" Her voice was snippy and Natsu was sweating in his seat because she was making this so much worse and he really wanted to tell her to shut the fuck up but he couldn't even utter a sound in his panicked state.

He knew she would be the death of him one day and he didn't know why it had to be today of all days. He had plans. Major plans that involved him putting a baby inside of her and living a happy life in some fucking cookie-cutter lifestyle with the white picket fence and the big dog and maybe a cat or three.

"I'd like to discuss some matters with him," he had a small smile on his lips, holding his hand up. "Daddy promises he won't hurt your little boyfriend."

Natsu grumbled under his breath that he is not little but he didn't have to announce that to the whole table, especially to his girlfriend's father.

"It's okay, Luce," Natsu placed a hand on top of her closed fist, bringing her attention back to him. "I'll be fine. Your dad just wants to talk with me." He offered a small smile but in reality he was hoping she wouldn't leave.

What the hell was he supposed to do when he was alone with Jude? This man could pull out a gun and shoot him right then and there without Lucy knowing and yet he's trying to side with the man for some goddamn brownie points.

He was glad this was his first (and hopefully last) time ever having to meet a girlfriend's parents because this shit was not fun in the slightest. It was nerve-wracking and he had to put this one on his list of: scary shit because this was the scariest shit he has ever done.

"You sure?" Lucy leaned in to whisper to him and he wanted to beg her to stay with him but he just slowly nodded his head.

He can see Jude patiently waiting across the table, hands folding on his lap while he watches them. It made him even more nervous than he should be as he felt the burning gaze of this rich and powerful man strike him.

"Give us ten minutes." Jude spoke to assure Lucy it won't be long. The younger blonde turned to look at her father, squinting her eyes to give him a warning look. "No need to give me that look, sweetheart, daddy just wants to ask some personal questions."

"Fine," she huffed, pushing out of her seat as the chair screeched across the table. "Don't be mean. I love him, daddy."

Natsu freaked out when he felt his cock jump in his pants and he was quick to adjust and shuffle in his seat, clearing his throat in the process. Lucy planted a sweet kiss to his cheek and he gave her a wry smile, sweat outlining his hairline as he said goodbye to his girl.

Possibly for the last time but he wasn't hoping for that.

Once she was out of the room, his attention focused on the man across the table from him and he swallowed hard. The look Jude was giving him looks nothing like how he looks at Lucy. His expression was hard and unreadable and it makes sense since he was a very rich and powerful man in the business industry.

"So let's cut to the chase," he cleared his throat, leaning in to plop his arms on the table while his hands interlaced together. "How much do you want?"

"Excuse me?" Natsu sputtered, shocked to hear such words coming from his lips.

"How much do you want?"

"Are you—are you asking how much money I want from you?" He asked in disbelief as the businessman never looked a hair out of place with his flat expression. "I'm sorry, I'm honestly confused. I'm not here for your money."

"What could you possibly want from Lucy then?"

"Her love and companionship, sir." He furrowed his brows in confusion, wondering what the hell was going on. Didn't he just hear how Lucy said they're in love?

"Clearly you are mistaken. I am asking you how much it would be for you to leave Lucy."

Natsu openly gawked at the man, unsure how to respond or even react to this. This stuff only happened in movies and yet here he was, sitting in a multimillion dollar estate with a man who was worth millions sitting across from him asking him how much it would be for him to leave his daughter.

Hundreds of thoughts came rushing through and he felt all types of emotions.

Anger. Confusion. Shock. Betrayal.

It was sickening to hear his girlfriend's father ask him how much it would be for him to leave Lucy.

"Sorry, I think you might be mistaken." He cleared his throat, swallowing down his nerves as his protective side came barreling through. "I'm not sure what you're insinuating by giving me this insane idea but I am not leaving your daughter. I love Lucy. Whole-heartedly, sir." He placed a hand on his chest to feel his pounding heart against his palm.

"Would a hundred thousand work for you?" Jude didn't seem to hear a word he had said, making Natsu blink stupidly at him. "Or I can bump it up to half a million if you leave tonight."

He was gawking again and he shouldn't be blatantly staring with his jaw slacked at this powerful man but it was so hard when his words weren't going through and all he was trying to do was throw a buttload of cash at him.

"Mr. Heartfillia, sir, respectfully, I do not want your money."

"Isn't that what you're after anyways?" The older man asked, thick eyebrows raised upwards as Natsu frowned.

"No, sir, my intentions are not purely about Lucy's status."

"Were you aware of Lucy's status when you two met?"

"Yes," there was no point in lying. "But that is not what drew me to your daughter."

"Then what makes you think a poor man like yourself could possibly do to provide for my daughter?"

He really wished Lucy wasn't gone because he knew she would be raising hell for him. He so badly wanted to scream at her dad and tell him how much of a piece of shit he truly was. The anger he felt was hot and overwhelming, his fists clenching under the table.

"I can do everything and more for her."

"Please," he chuckled mockingly at the rosy-haired student. "Lucy had grown up in this extravagant world her entire life. You think she's going to want to settle down with someone of your status?"

"I'm unsure what you're trying to imply."

"Don't play dumb," Jude scoffed. "Lucy is a very intelligent, beautiful, and kind soul who needs someone to provide for her till her time comes. Not hardship and—and boys with pink hair."

His jaw clenched, sharp eyes narrowing to glare at the mustached man. "The hair is natural, thank you, but like you said, Lucy is very intelligent. She is a grown woman who can make her own decisions and she has decided to pick me as her suitor." He grabbed at his glass of water to down the glass. "And providing for her won't be a problem. I already cater to your daughter's every whim and in all honesty? I think I do a pretty good damn job doing so. Unlike yourself."

"Excuse me?" Jude asked, baffled. His surprise was clear as day plastered on his face and Natsu felt a bit smug to know he had finally cracked his poker face. "All I ever did was provide for Lucy! You cannot sit there and tell me I have not! This house is proof of it all!" He waved his hands in the air to motion towards the home."

"Do you know your daughter's favorite foods? Favorite song? Favorite drink? Favorite place to hang out in? Her friends?"

Jude was taken back by the sudden personal questions as he reeled back to stare at Natsu with wide eyes.

"All you ever did for her was throw cash in her face and buy her extravagant gifts to make up for your neglect and lack of understanding for her. If you truly knew Lucy, she doesn't want any of that."

"Of course she does," he scoffed, sneering at him. "Money is power. Money is king. Lucy couldn't live the way she does without my support."

"All Lucy wants is someone there for her. Someone to listen when she's upset. Someone to laugh and talk with when she's in a good mood. Someone to tell her she's doing a great job and someone to actually see her for her." Natsu shook his head, leaning back into his chair as he crossed his arms across his chest. "All Lucy ever wanted was someone to be there. She grew up in this massive house with everything she could ask for but imagine how lonely she was. You can buy her every single thing in the world and throw hundreds and thousands of dollars in her face but all she ever wanted was you. Her dad."

Jude's expression twisted into shock and Natsu gave himself a mental high-five for that one. Leave it to him to baffle a rich man like Jude Heartfillia.

"I think you need to worry less about 'providing' for her," he curled his fingers to the word. "And worry more about her as a person. All Lucy ever wanted was your attention and care. She could care less about the sparkly pink sports car and allowance you give. She needs someone to see her as her and not Lucy Heartfillia, heiress and daughter of Jude Heartfillia."

The sudden urge to see Lucy and hold her was strong. All he wanted was to hold her close and tell her how much he loves and cares for her because all he could think about is the little girl who desperately wanted her father's attention and love for him to give it to her in the form of gifts and money.

Natsu stood from his spot, his chair screeching away from the table.

"I love your daughter, sir." He announced, placing his hand against his chest as he kept eye contact. "I will move mountains and cross oceans to see her smile. I would do anything and everything for her as long as she is happy. She is my priority. Not money. Not school. Not even my own friends. She is. Lucy is my happiness and my light and I will not allow you to dim her even further. She deserves to live a happy, loving life and I am going to do everything in my power to give her that."

Turning away to exit the dining room, Natsu left Jude speechless in his seat. He wasn't sure where this was going to lead him as he figured Jude may explode and request his head on a platter but at least he got to say what he wanted to.

He needed to find Lucy and fast. He needed her in his arms.

"Luce!"

"I'm over here!" Her voice called back and soon she was scurrying into the foyer where her boyfriend stood. She saw the look on his face and frowned, rushing over to stand in front of him with her hand coming up to caress his cheek. "What's wrong? Did he say something to you?"

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug, his face burying into her neck as he inhaled her sweet savory scent.

"Natsu, what happened? Are you okay?" She asked worryingly, her own arms wrapping around him to hug him back. "Is everything okay?"

"I just love you so much, babe," he sighed into her hair, his arms tightening around her small figure to bring her as close as he could. "I love you more than you know."

Her sweet giggle made him relax and feel warm inside, "I love you, too, Natsu."

He pulled away slightly to look at her face. She had a small blush on her cheeks and such a cute smile he couldn't help but steal a kiss or two from her. "Luce,"

"Yeah?"

"Let's get the fuck out of here. Preferably as soon as possible."

"Why? What did he say?" Her brows furrowed and her smile had dropped into a frown. "I'm going to go talk to him—"

"No," he tightened his hold on her when she tried to wiggle free. "It's nothing. I just want to be with you. Just you. You think we could do that?"

Her confusion was clear on her face but she didn't question it further as the desperate look on his face was screaming right at her. She reached up to place her hand on his cheek, the said man leaning into her touch as he gave her a soft, sad smile.

"Anything for you," she whispered, smiling right back. "We can leave tomorrow."

"Can I at least sleep with you tonight?"

Seeing the sad look on his face and change in mood, Lucy couldn't help but melt into him and smile warmly.

"Of course, you can."

If Jude Heartfillia wanted to hunt him down and threaten him, so be it. If he didn't like who he was and didn't want him dating his daughter then he definitely needed a wake up call because he worked too fucking hard to make this woman his and he would be damned to leave her just for some stupid paper.

Lucy meant more to him than the hundreds and thousands of cash Jude had on him. Lucy may have been daddy's little princess at one point and she may still be in the eyes of Jude but to him? She was his queen.

And in actuality, she is a daddy's girl.

His girl. And this daddy? He will provide and love Lucy in ways she could have never imagined.
