A/N: I got some really great reviews for the last chapter so I'm a little nervous to post this one. After all, it's not like I have another Satan to kill. (Or do I?). Nevertheless, here it is. This chapter has a mix of seriousness and humor. I hope you enjoy. I know I did when I wrote it.

Sorry about the false update. I'll keep from doing that in the future.

Disclaimer: I do not own DBZ.

Chapter 14.

The world stood still, as it witnessed the death of its beloved hero. How could this happen? Mr. Satan was invincible, right? This had to be a trick, right?

Gohan stood motionless. He gazed upon the unmoving figure of the man he had started to see as a friend.

"Mr. Satan… Hercule… No." He stared at the man as tears started to form in his eyes.

Why should you be crying? A chilling voice sounded in Gohans' mind. It's your fault he's dead, you know?

My fault?

Of course. You had the power to save him. You didn't have to let him limp to his death.

Aquamarine turned her attention from the man at her feet to the boy in front of her. "I suppose it's your turn now then." But the half saiyan was deaf to his surroundings.

You could have whisked him away to safety, despite his foolish request. The voice continued. Or just knocked him out cold. You could have even just fried this fish-girl, it's what I would have done. This never would have happened if I were in charge. But you? You just stood there, screaming like a child.

Stop it.

Stop it? You could have stopped this before it even began. And what is the result of your inaction?

I said stop it!

Face the facts! A man is dead because of you. You killed him, just like 16.

"That's enough." He growled through gritted teeth.

"Hey brat! Are you listening to me? I thought you were going to be my opponent!?" Aquamarine asked impatiently.

Just like you killed father.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

A violent shockwave erupted around the young warrior, blowing everything in the vicinity back hundreds of meters. Even the ground was affected, as Gohans' power gouged a crater deeper and deeper into the concrete. Aquamarine put her arms over her face to guard against the harsh winds, as she herself was pushed back.

"What the!?"

Break

The Jade emperors' ship was not exempt from the boys' rage. The entire structure was shaking. All over the command room, instruments were beeping, monitors were cracking and red lights were flashing as the siren sounded red alert. Men were scrambling about trying to figure out what was going on.

"SIR!" said a panicked scientist, as he stared in terror at the readings he was getting. "This is unbelievable! The child, his power is fluctuating wildly! It's, it's incalculable!"

While the man was frantically reporting, the Emperor was still perched on his throne, calmly observing the battle outside. "Well, I must say, this is turning out to be more interesting than I had hoped." A small smile graced the old man's lips.

"Sir!" This time a soldier addressed the emperor. "Our scanners were picking up above average power levels, just before that boys' power erupted. If we don't act now, Aquamarine may be overpowered and we may be defeated!"

The emperor considered this. "Hmm, that does sound serious. Adamantia, could you take care of this little problem for me?"

The dark-skinned woman raised her finger, pointed it at the soldier, and fired a beam through his head. He fell down, without even a look of shock on his features.

"Problem solved." She said in a tone that conveyed how dull she found this whole situation.

"Well, that works too I suppose." The Jade emperor seemed to find humor in his subordinates' actions. "But I meant our problem outside." He nodded to the screen showing Gohan and Aquamarine. "I'm afraid our darling Aquamarine isn't long for this life."

Adamantia quirked an eyebrow. "Shall I go and assist her?"

"Oh no, no need to bother with that." Jade waved his hand airily. "Just ensure that she is properly avenged and all that. Also take care of those mysterious power levels that, um… What was that soldiers name?"

"Cole." Broly spoke so quietly that he was barely heard.

"I'm sorry, my old friend, what was that?" the Emperor put a hand to his ear.

Broly clenched his fists, but spoke calmly. "His name was Corporal Cole."

"Ah, thank you, yes, as I was saying. Adamantia, send who you need to intercept the power levels the now incorporeal Cole warned us about."

Adamantia inclined her head. Finally, something to do "As you wish." The Jade emperor leaned over to a dark-blue girl with white-blue hair and a blindfold. She had a sheathed rapier at her waist.

"Did you like that play on words, Sapphire my dear?"

"I'm afraid I didn't quite get your joke, my liege." She replied with a no-nonsense tone.

"Well, because corporal was his rank and now, he's… Oh, never mind." He gave up. "Just go down there and handle the namekian if he gets frisky."

"Yes sir."

Break

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Gohans' anguish continued to manifest as a destructive storm. Aquamarine had tried to get close but, with the sheer force that was being emitted from his position, it was impossible to get within a hundred yards of him.

"What… Just what is he!?" She couldn't even open her eyes because the pressure was so intense.

Piccolo, who had also flown back from the burst of energy from his young friend, tried to get his attention. "GOHAN! GOHAAAN! LISTEN TO ME!"

"Darn it!" He said to himself. "At this rate, he's going to destroy the whole planet!"

"That would be a shame."

Piccolo spun around to see a blue woman.

"The master prefers his planets to be whole when he collects them. It would be a shame if that boy ruined a perfectly good specimen, such as this world."

Piccolo dropped to his fighting stance.

"Don't worry, namekian, I'm only here to make sure you don't get too 'frisky'."

Piccolo removed his turban and cape. "Really? Because I was thinking I'd show you just how 'frisky' I can get! HRAAHH!" With a shout, piccolo sent a powerful ki blast her way.

Sapphire drew her sword and slashed through the attack, making it split in two and sending each half veering off in separate directions before exploding. But just after she slashed, Piccolo was inside her guard and threw a punch. Somehow, she was able to bring her sword down to block it, but he still sent her flying.

Piccolo wore no satisfied smile, just a scowl. "I'm in a really rotten mood right now. You couldn't have picked a worse time to do this." Then he followed after his quarry.

Just as Piccolo was leaving, the energy field surrounding Gohan began to contract. The young demi-saiyan was drawing his power back into himself. His hair was gold and straight up, a single bang hung over his face. White electricity crackled around him, with the occasional streak of black lightning generated from his intense power.

"RAAAGNNNNGGGHHGGGNNNNGG!" The boy was hunched over and gritting his teeth while trying to regain control of his power. As the bubble of energy compressed to just around his immediate person, he let go. "NGAAAAHH!" Another shockwave, then, as suddenly it came, the energy seemed to disperse. Gohan was standing in the middle of a ruined city. His eyes were no longer filled with sorrow. Neither were they filled with hatred.

Aquamarine came forward slowly. She gazed at the younger warrior.

This must be his super saiyan form. She began to realize what she was dealing with. Strange, it doesn't look like Brolys' form at all. Though I can't say it's any less frightening. He generated all that energy and then drew it back into himself. This should be fun.

"Hey kid! You done with your little hissy fit?" She taunted. She really wanted to see what this super saiyan could do.

The boy stared at her. In his gaze, she saw the coldest, emptiest eyes she had ever seen. He took a step forward, making his way out of the crater his outburst created. The woman recoiled for a moment.

Wait, what am I doing? I am one of the Jade emperors honor guard! Why should I retreat from this child?

She stepped forward and was about to make a dash for her new opponent, but as soon as she lifted her foot, he appeared in a flash. He had moved so fast that her mind didn't register him being there at all. By the time she was able to look down at him, his elbow was already sunk deep in her abdomen. Her brain couldn't react fast enough. By the time the pain registered, he had already retracted his elbow. She couldn't remember ever being hit this hard. She sunk to her knees, clutching her stomach. She was about to fall on her face but Gohan reached down and caught her by the throat.

With the wind knocked out of her, she tried to gasp for breath, but the ascended super saiyan tightened his grip so as to cut off all air ways.

"You won't get off that easy." He said in a low voice. He tossed her straight up. Higher and higher she went. She was sailing passed the ship and, for a moment, thought she might get some reprieve. That's when she looked up and saw that her enemy was waiting for her. He brought his hands together over his head and brought them down on her, sending the fish girl to the ground with a terrible sonic boom. She landed in the same crater Gohan stood in moments before, the force of impact sending her into through the ground into the water works below.

She laid under the street, water pouring over her from damaged pipes. Gohan landed above, staring down at her from the street with that icy gaze.

*Kakkak* The woman coughed up a generous amount of blood. She didn't bother to try and stand.

"You… Are," *cough* "Powerful," *cough, cough* "little warrior. But now the tables will turn. We'll see how well you do," *cough* "on my turf."

Gohan watched passively as the water gushing from the broken pipes began to swirl around the blue woman. The liquid seemed to rejuvenate her. The pain that Gohan had inflicted was being washed away by her technique. She was being healed. A sphere of water began to form around her. Then it expanded. Once fully healed, she floated up to the street, facing her opponent. She fully expected the young warrior to run as the water sphere grew nearer to him, but he didn't. He didn't take a deep breath or even blink.

Gohan just let the water wash over him, much to the surprise of Aquamarine. Of course, she wasn't going to question this kind of gift. If her opponent wanted to step into her domain, well, that was their funeral. She waited until the water prison was 100 meters in diameter, then she swam towards her unmoving opponent with impressive speed. Nobody could match her in the depths. The water gave her power, it healed her, made her faster, stronger, not even Adamantia could beat her in her domain.

She was about to be within striking distance, when her prey suddenly disappeared.

"What the!?" She said, while bubbles exited her mouth. "Nobody can move faster than me under water! It's impossible! Where is he?" Her eyes darted around while she kept her guard up, but it was no use. A powerful blow impacted her mid back, rocketing her toward the edge of her beloved water. She was afraid she was going to get knocked out of it, when a bone crushing grip caught her by the ankle, and flung her, underhanded, toward the top of the sphere. She was, once again, caught before she exited the water, this time by the wrist. Gohan spun her around and around in a backspin.

Wha-what's happening? I-I can't breathe! What is he doing to me!?"

Gohan stopped spinning and dragged her in close, before kicking her in the ribs while retaining his grip on her wrist. He straightened her arm out in front of him and drove his knee and elbow into the arm, shattering the bones.

"GGRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

While this howl of pain was elicited from the alien, the sphere began to fall way, returning to shapeless water. Gohan had steam pouring off of him. He dropped the limp fish-woman to the ground and floated down slowly beside her.

"I was hoping you would keep that up longer." Gohan said quietly. "I wanted you to know how it feels. To think you have everything under control, to feel like your so powerful that nothing can touch you. Only to find out that there is a power you could never hope to match. I want you to know the fear that comes with that feeling. It's the fear this planet felt when you came here to take over! It's the fear they felt when you killed its hero. He may not have been the most powerful, but he was their hero. And I let you take him from them. Now, get up. I'm not done breaking you."

Aquamarine couldn't move. Whether from the damage that Gohan inflicted, or from sheer terror at the boys' words, she didn't know. She just knew she couldn't continue.

"Please, please just kill me." She begged.

Gohan was about to refuse when a light flashed across the girls' throat. A gash opened and the fish-woman breathed no more. Gohan looked, without emotion, to where the flash came from.

Sitting casually on a buildings' roof was a dark-skinned woman with long spiky white hair. She wore white Gi bottoms and a gold ring around her neck. Her breastplate was the same green color as the dead fish-woman, though it extended to just over her belly button.

"You're welcome." The girl said casually.

"I wasn't done with her yet." Gohan replied.

"Oh, did I interrupt your little temper tantrum little boy?" she said condescendingly. Gohan just stood there staring at her.

"Well, I just figured since she wanted to die, it might as well be a comrade that offs her." She hopped off the building and landed on the street. "I'm Adamantia by the way."

"I don't care." Replied Gohan.

"Oh my, you are a rude little boy, aren't you?" She wagged her finger. "I was just coming down here to let you know that your friends won't be able to play with you. Well, that and to avenge my fallen subordinate but since I'm the one who killed her, I guess that I won't need to do that."

"Friends?" Gohan didn't remember anyone but Piccolo with him.

"Well, I'm assuming they're your friends. A few people with decent power levels coming to your aid I suspect. Don't worry I sent my men to keep them busy."

Gohan tried to see if he could sense any familiar energy nearby.

That one's Piccolo. The far one feels like Vegeta. Those two should be fine. The one by the mall is Zangya, then the weaker ones should be Tien, Krillin and Yamcha. Gohan accounted for all the familiar energies he felt. Then he sensed several others. Those must be the ones this woman was talking about. All the unfamiliar power sources were heading for different targets, his friends.

"If you think that I'll just stand by and let my friends be hurt, you must be crazier than your master." Gohan flew full speed to try and rescue his friends before the needed rescuing. Adamantia appeared in front of him to block his way. If the young warrior was surprised by her speed, his face didn't show it.

"I don't think so junior." She shook her head. "What do you say to a little quality time with your beautiful big sis Tia."

"This." Gohan cupped his hands together at his side. "Ka…Me…Haa…Mee…HAAA!" he pushed his hands forward releasing a giant blue beam of energy. The wave engulfed Adamantia. Gohan was about to leave when the woman appeared, unscathed, out of the beam to block him.

"Not bad kid, but no dice. Energy based attacks don't work on me. They just bounce right off." The woman said with a bit of gloating. Gohan still wasn't showing his surprise. "Don't feel bad though." She shrugged with a smile. "After all. I'm the leader of the Jade Emperors' armies. His most powerful subject. I'm in a whole different league than what you saw in Aquamarine."

"A whole different league?" The boy asked.

"Yup." She responded. She was obnoxiously confident and was clearly thinking he was intimidated.

The boy flexed, his power rippling through the air, blowing her hair back.

"Woah!"

"Lady," He pounded his fist into his palm, sending yet another shockwave. "We're not even playing the same sport."

"What does that even mePFFAUA!" the end of her sentence was punctuated with pain.

Gohan had hit her square in the cheek, cutting her question off and sending her spinning away.

Break

Just before Gohan started his cold-blooded assault on the fish-girl, Zangya could sense her friend was in distress. She could feel his power and that it was running wild. It was greater even than when he fought BoJack. She had known that he had always held back whenever they sparred, but she never would have imagined he had this much in him. The amount of power wasn't what Zangya was concerned about though.

"Zangya, what's going on with Gohan!?" 18 asked

"Can't you feel that?" The red head replied.

"Z, I can't sense energy. All I feel is the ground shaking like it's doomsday!" 18 was confident in her power, but the incident with Cell made her wary of powers that could shake the earth.

"It's Gohan. The buffoons' energy just disappeared and he snapped." Zangya explained.

"I gathered all that from the sky screen. Why is it still happening?"

"I don't know." Zangya was distraught. "It's like his energy is breaking or something."

"Well, if this is his energy when it's broken, I'd hate to see it when it gets fixed." 18 muttered.

What is going on with you rice ball? Zangya thought. She couldn't imagine him losing, but remembering the events at Babas' place made her anxious.

"HEEEEELLLPPP!" A feminine cry caught both the females' attention.

Dangling off the ledge of the roof was Erasa, hanging on for dear life.

"SOMEBODY! HELLLP MEEEEE!"

Zangya and 18 floated next to the poor girl.

"Oh!" The young blonde almost cried in relief. "You two are friends of Gohans' right? Please, get me down from here!" she begged the two older women.

They both looked at her. 18 with a blank expression, Zangya with a confused one.

"How did you get to be in this position?" the Hera girl asked.

"Why does that matter!?" Erasa couldn't believe she was being questioned while she was dangling by her fingers. "Just help me, PLEASE!"

Zangya was about to grab the teen, but was stopped by 18. "Wait a minute Zangya, I sense an opportunity." She said quietly to her friend.

"Why should we help you? After all, you tried to blackmail Gohan. For your information, Gohan's our friend. We don't really care to see the kid being extorted." Panic crossed Erasas' face.

"What!? I-I never blackmailed him! I just…"

"Held information over his head to bend him to your will?" 18 cut in. "Sorry to break it to you, but, that's blackmail."

Zangya looked at 18 and saw where she was going with this. "That's a good point 18." She turned to the dangling girl. "You tried to hurt him. If you fell, wouldn't that make his problems go away? He wouldn't have to answer any ridiculous questions he doesn't want to."

"Not to mention, she couldn't try to use the same information to force him to do something else he didn't want to." 18 chimed in.

"W-wait a minute! I wasn't trying to hurt him! W-w-we can talk about this! Haven't you ladies ever heard of negotiation?" Erasa tried to reason. Her fingers were starting to slip.

"Wow, you're right 18! I think it might be better if we just let her fall."

"OKAAYYY! OKAY I'LL STOP BLACKMAILING HIM! NOW PLEASE HELP ME!"

"What else?" Zangya folded her arms and demanded.

"WHAT ELSE!? ANYTHING YOU WANT! JUST HELP MEKYYYAAAAAAA!"

Erasa finally lost her grip but she only fell about a foot when 2 hands reached out for her. she blinked when she noticed she wasn't falling; she was floating gently down. She looked up at the triumphant smirks of 18 and Zangya.

"Like we'd really let you fall." 18 said as she flipped her hair. "The kid would never let us hear the end of it."

"You should have seen the look on your face!" The blue woman gloated.

"I can't believe you two would extort me while my life was literally hanging in the balance! You two are such hypocrites!"

"Of course, turnabout's fair play, after all. And, if you don't follow our agreement, we can always make sure you drop from a higher building." Zangya shrugged.

The dropped Erasa to the ground and she fell to her knees. She looked at the two women again as the landed beside her. She couldn't tell if they were serious or not. That made her worried. She also couldn't help but respect them for their expertise in the art of extortion. She got to her feet and wobbled a little. Then she dusted herself of and started walking away.

"Alright, I guess you ladies got me, I won't blackmail Gohan any…"

"LOOK OUT!" 18 grabbed the younger blonde as an energy blast exploded the surrounding area.

"18!" Zangya cried out. She turned in fury to the ones who would dare hurt her friend.

Floating 30 feet above them, 3 figures with jade green armor looked down at her. 2 of them were identical. They were females that had white, almost transparent, skin and pearly white hair that flowed freely down to their hips. The only discernible difference between the 2 was their skirt color. One was black and the other white. The other man was bulky and had the same hair color and skin tone as Zangya. His hair was in a ponytail and he had a neatly trimmed beard.

"Why'd you try to hit the little blonde Alex?" The bubbly voice of the white skirt twin asked the other.

"Shut up Pearl!" The black skirt twins' voice was gruff and angry. "I just didn't like her stupid face!"

The bearded man spoke up. His voice was deep and had a slight accent. "I bet you were jealous because she's prettier than you."

"OI!" The angry twin said. "TURK! I'LL KILL YA!" She tried to attack her comrade but was held back by the happy twin.

Zangyas' anger about her friend temporarily was replaced by shock. She had thought that her whole race had died off. To see another of the race of hera caused a mix of emotions. But then she remembered 18 and her rage returned in full force.

"HEY!" She shouted to gain the attention of her attackers. "HOW DARE YOU KILL MY BEST FRIEND!" The quarreling trio Stopped and looked at her for a second. They all burst out laughing.

"BAHAHAHAHA! Man, I knew earthlings were weird, but that one's just ridiculous!"

Zangya growled. How dare they mock her!? Then she heard something at her side.

"Wow, your best friend? I'm touched. I thought that would have been Gohan." She looked at where her friend had exploded. As the dust cleared, she could see both 18 and Erasa, unharmed and surrounded by a blue forcefield.

"18! You're alright!" Zangya wanted to hug her.

"Of course," She smirked. "A little blast like that won't hurt me. I would think you would have more faith in your best friend."

Zangya blushed at her teasing. "Yeah, well… Hey wait, they called me an earthling just now. Why? I'm clearly of the Hera race."

"Um… Maybe it's because of your outfit?" Erasa was still shaken by the back to back near-death experiences, but she answered Zangyas' question by pointing out her Disguise was still on.

Zangya touched the glasses with the big fake nose that she had forgotten to remove before saving Erasa.

"Oh…"

The trio in the sky were still laughing like crazy.

"HAHAHA! I MEAN, WHAT KIND OF NOSE IS THAT!? HAHAHA!"

"AND THOSE EYEBROWS!? OH, OH THAT MUSTACHE! OHOHAHA!"

Zangya smiled and turned to 18 (who had already removed her glasses and overcoat). "See I told you these disguises worked." Then she removed her glasses, poncho and sombrero and tossed them to the side.

The three warriors stopped laughing at this revelation. "HEY! She tricked us! She doesn't look like an earthling at all!" cried Alex, the black skirt twin.

"Yeah, She's of the Hera race like me!" Turk was shocked. How could he miss this?

"Wow, She's way prettier than that little blonde girl. Why didn't you try to kill her Alex?" Pearl, the cheerful twin asked her sister.

"Shut it, Pearl!"

"Nobody's killing the Hera girl!" Turk was suddenly serious.

"Oh yeah? Who's gonna stop me?" Alex folded her arms in a challenging manner.

The Hera male glared at the girl until she relented. "Heh, fine you can have her. Pearl and I will take the bimbos."

Turk nodded his gratitude.

"I don't normally like to fight women, but I doubt I'll get a chance to fight another Hera again. This is gonna be good." He grinned, savoring this moment. "Here I come!"

He flew toward Zangya and tried to clothesline her. She leaned back, avoiding his arm, while driving her foot straight up into his abdomen. His eyes bulged and she spun up and around him, delivering a round house to the back of his neck. He flew forward and crashed through a wall as Zangya landed lightly on her toes.

"Hm, not bad." 18 complimented her friend.

"You should see me when I'm trying." She really hadn't been trying to kill the big oaf. Not yet anyway. She had some questions for her fellow hera. "18, can you handle those two?" She nodded to the twins who had yet to make their move.

18 closed her eyes and smiled. "Sure, what are best friends for."

Zangya rolled her eyes. Then she flew after the brute she sent through the wall.

"Wow your friend's pretty good!" Pearl commented with wide eyes. "Plus, that hair! Wish I Could pull off that fluffy cloud look."

Alex grumbled. "Could if we wanted to, it's a stupid hairstyle."

"Alrighty, which blonde do you want Alex?" The perky twin was almost bouncing. Then she noticed that Erasa was hiding behind 18. "What's wrong with your friend? Doesn't she want to fight?" she looked confused.

"Sorry, this kid probably doesn't know the first thing about fighting. I'll be happy to take you both on though." 18 said coolly as she brought her guard up.

"WHAT'D YOU SAY YOU BLONDE &! (#!" Alex raged. "Come on Pearl, let's teach her a lesson!"

Pearl looked thoughtful as she put a finger to her chin. "Hmmm. No thanks." She flew to an overturned car and sat down.

"WHAT! YOU GET BACK HERE AND YOU FIGHT WITH ME!"

"Sorry Lexi, it just wouldn't be fair, ya know?"

"GAH! Whatever!" She turned back to 18. "It isn't like you'll last long anyway." She appeared in front of the blonde and the two began exchanging blows, faster than the eye could follow. Erasa, who was still behind 18, was almost caught up in the crossfire. She was on her knees, with her hands over her head screaming.

"KYAAA! ALL I WANTED WAS TO GO SHOPPING!"

Suddenly, she was carried away from the exchange of fists. She opened her eyes and saw she was on top of the same car as pearl.

"KYAAA. Please don't hurt me!" She put her hands together in pleading fashion.

"Hey, calm down!" Pearl leaned back on her hands. "I don't hurt civilians."

Erasa blinked in surprise.

"So," The alien turned to look at the blonde. "Where are all the good shopping places around this planet? I like to know these things for when it becomes part of the empire. Potential vacation spots, ya know?

"EWEWEWEWEWEWEWEW!" Opal was freaking out as if she had seen a cockroach.

"What!? What is it? What's wrong?" Yamcha asked. It wasn't often that he was concerned for an opponent, but this chicks' behavior was way too weird to ignore. He had heard the broadcast like everyone else about the challenge. He knew he wouldn't be much help, but he wanted to be there, just in case an opponent of his level appeared. He couldn't just stand by and do nothing.

As soon as he had reached the outskirts of the city, though, he was stopped by this grey alien girl. She had a trim waist and a decent bust that showed even though she wore armor. She wore her hair in a ponytail and had her bangs nearly covering her left eye. Yamcha had one thing to say.

"Man, space chicks are hot!"

But then everything went crazy. The woman barely looked at him and then she started dancing around screaming 'ew' over and over again. Was it something I said?

"Hey, listen, we don't have to fight, just calm down and tell me what's wrong." Yamcha was really feeling bad for the girl. Plus, if he won her over with his gentlemanly charm, maybe she would go on a date with him, or maybe more. Her response put that train of thought to a crashing halt.

"IT'S YOU! YOU HAVE THE ABSOLUTELY MOST DISGUSTING ENERGY COLOR I HAVE EVER SEEN!" She screamed.

Yamcha was dumbfounded. "Wh-whaaa?"

"I MEAN, WHAT DO YOU EVEN DO ALL DAY TO GET YOUR AURA TO BE SO GROSS!? HOW DEEP ARE YOU IN DEBT!? WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN EATING!? DO YOU EVEN HAVE A JOB!? HOW MANY CHEAP WOMEN DO YOU SLEEP AROUND WITH!? NO! DON'T ANSWER THAT! MY POINT IS YOU ARE DISGUSTING! DON'T YOU DARE COME NEAR ME!"

Yamcha took all this in with a shocked expression. Here he thought he had met his new girlfriend, but turns out she can't stand the sight of him.

"Hey, that's not fair." He said weakly. "I have a job, it's just that our season ended a couple months ago. There isn't much to do in the off season. And, so what if I have to eat a few tv dinners a week. They're cheap and they taste great!" his voice was getting stronger. He had to speak up, for lonely guys everywhere. "As for the debt? Who hasn't gone a few zeni in the hole in this day and age!? That's no reason to Judge a guy!"

"MY ENERGY IS GREAT JUST THE WAY IT IS! NOW FIGHT ME!"

"NOOOOOOO!" she squealed.

Yamcha tried to catch Opal and force her to fight and Opal just ran away. What resulted from this was the two, flying at hi-speeds around in circles, with neither one willing to lose to the other.

Just like Yamcha, Tien had encountered an opponent of his own. Rather than a cute girl, the triclops ran into a horrifying creature. It was a bright orange and yellow bug man, with 6 arms and a long scorpion like tail. His mouth had pincers protruding from the sides and his eyes were bright yellow and segmented. It spoke with a hiss and a lot of clicking, which the writer will represent with x.

"Well x x x, aren't you the uglies thing that crawled off this mudball x x x." It looked at Tien with contempt.

"Look who's talking. Not a lot of mirrors in space, I take it." Tien was on his guard. This monster reminded him a bit too much of Cell.

"Oh, x x x. Nice x x comeback x x x" It clicked its pincers several more times, which Tien supposed was its way of laughing. Or growling. It was a tossup. "The name' Patzo x x x. I never have ye located the funny bone of the flesh walkers x x x. Perhaps you will be the lucky winner."

"Oh, I'll be the winner alright. I'm TienShinhan. It will be my pleasure to exterminate you."

"And who are you supposed to be?" The prince of all saiyans Folded his arms and looked contemptuously at the man in front of him. He had green skin that was a slightly different color than the armor he wore. It was different than Vegetas' armor. It was more of a solid hunk of metal fashioned into a breastplate. Not like the sleek synthetics he wore.

The message had called for the one who defeated Frieza and Cold. That was his son. Well, future son. The present Trunks was to young to take on this challenge. But If they wanted a saiyan warrior, they would get a saiyan warrior. This was his planet, not the property of some self-proclaimed emperor. But now this green slime was in his way. UNACCEPTABLE!

"Allow me to introduce myself." The green man offered a courtesy bow. "I am Perdito, son of the Jade emperor and heir to the imperial throne. I also happen to be one of my fathers' honor guard."

Vegeta sneered. "So what? Am I supposed to be impressed?"

Perdito frowned. "No, you're supposed to introduce yourself. It's what's called common courtesy. Surely you earthlings have it?"

Vegeta appeared in front of the green warrior, grabbed him by the back of his head and brought his face to his knee.

"How dare you compare me to this planets' worthless species!" He lifted the warriors head and rammed his fist into his nose. "I am Vegeta! Prince of all saiyans! I was conquering planets' when you were in the defective birthing pod you crawled out of!" He tossed the warrior in the air and began charging an attack. "BIG BANG…"

"REGAL BLASTER!" Perdito fired his blast and it completely enveloped Vegeta. He exhaled in relief.

"Whew. I am sorry Prince Vegeta. I'm sure you would have made a worthy foe." He bowed his head for a moment of silence.

"I'm sorry too." Perdito snapped his head up in shock. Standing unscathed, except for some minor damage to his armor, was Vegeta. "Now I'll have the woman nagging about my armor."

"What!? But how? Nobody survives the 'Regal blaster' at point blank!"

"Like I said you disgusting puke. I'm not nobody. I'm the prince of all saiyans, now let's see how strong your armor is."

End chapter.

A/N: This chapter was mainly a setup for the multiple fights that will occur. I was going to try and devote a chapter or more to each fight. Maybe less for some of the minor characters. Gohan, being the main character, will obviously get multiple fights. Let me know if you care what order the Z fighters fights appear in. I was going to start with Vegeta or Zangya but if you want to see someone else in the spotlight, post a review. If anyone is wondering where Krillin was, don't worry, he'll show up. For the jade emperors honor guard, I used birth stones for their names. I also used the zodiac for some of their characteristics and powers. Not huge into astrology or crystals so I may have gotten some stuff wrong.

Adamantia-Diamond, Aries
