There were many things Team RNJR plus WBY, Cody, Qrow, and Oscar felt after the actual defeat of Evol. Overjoyed? Relieved? On the verge of fainting? Many things they had felt. Never before they would get to live another day and there is hope knowing they finally… finally had a key to push back Evol.

The said key whose brow twitched in growing irritation as she was seated between Cody and Blake by the dining table. Everyone had begun eating breakfast but the mentioned two had put too much on her plate, treating her like she was a kid, which she was not damn it!

"Here Lily, I'm sure some of this will help."

"Given how much time I spent with her? This is more appropriate."

"That thing is still raw! She can't eat it like you can!"

"But it's much more fresher than what you put on her plate!"

Qrow chuckled at the ongoing spectacle. Though he couldn't blame them because the girl was literally brought from the dead again. This time her soul was no longer fragile. Vernage's passing of all she had to the girl fixed everything. With it it had changed the girl's blue hair into the moonlight white color and her eyes from lilac to glimmering emerald. Lily had been mourning in secret and he understood it too well. The girl practically lost a mother figure who taught her everything before ending up in Faust and after leaving Faust.

She is still Lily but she is also Vernage.

"How's it feel to be treated like royalty, Vernage?" Qrow joked.

"Don't push it, birdie." The infused girl sent a glare making Qrow simply shrug yet chuckle with delight.

"I just hope they aren't pushing too much on her…" Ruby noted with worry as the two affiliates of Lily, continue to bicker and argue like siblings.

"I know what's best for Lily!"

"No, I do!"

Cody and Blake glaring and butting heads as sparks could literally be seen from their eyes and souls as the two were being a bit overbearing for once, much to the dismay of Lily. The others swore there was a black tiger and blue dragon looking ready to brawl.

The said maiden elicited an exasperated sigh. "For Humanity's sake let me do things myself, alright!?" She demanded. "I am 19 years old and can do things on my own!"

The two flinched from her scolding, as they quickly sulked back into their seats and began to eat quietly. Most likely not wanting to cause more ire from the lady they are completely happy to have returned to them.

"Finally!" She harshly stabbed a fork into the eggs and ate.

"So… Lily." Her emerald eyes peered at Oscar who jumped. "U-Um, Ozma is wondering… how exactly did you… formulate such a thing to counter Evol?"

Now that earned their attention. She never explained how she made the bottle nor understood the terms Evol had said about spacetime and singularity.

Swallowing, the new Saint reached into her blazer and presented the Saint Fullbottle. Everyone basked in it as Lily set it onto the middle of the table. "The Fullbottle as I mentioned before holds no Nebula. It is purified of it."

"Purified…? Wait, you mean you can remove it?!" Ruby gasped. "How did you find a way?!" Lily rolled her sleeve. "The golden band you used to wear on your hair?"

"It was connected to Vernage… the Vernage we all knew, as it belonged to her for a long time. It kept her from being affected by the nebula Evol occasionally emits in battle." The former Faust agent explained. "Using it allows me to purify it but it wasn't easy. I had done countless tests for it."

"That was why you were often busy in the guest room." Blake realized. "You were finding a cure for all the experiments."

"And it worked."

"How? There's no one aside from-" Blake trailed off and gasped. "You did it to yourself…."

"I wanted to apply it to the twins but I didn't want to risk hurting them… so… I tested it by drawing my blood due to my Hazard level and from there created the purification." She adjusted the sleeve.

"You always took the blame for whenever I made such mistakes back then…" Cody remembered, shivering from those memories.

"And what about countering Evol's Black Hole?"

Lily closed her eyes and opened after opening her hand. The room turned dark before they found themselves in a dark blue void.

"Evol's Black Hole is dark matter. Inhaling all forms of electromagnetic energy, especially light. The gravity becoming too strong nothing can escape it. Nothing." They saw a black hole inhaling the stars around it. "Mother told me when a star does it, its power releases and collapses and can become such." The black hole faded. "But what I did was an extensive study in regards to space-time theory. A singularity is the epicenter of a one dimensional point with a huge mass but infinitely small space." She waved her fingers.

"I… don't get this…" Ruby groaned, her eyes swirling with confusion.

Weiss rolled her eyes. "She is saying a black hole can create a rupture in the aspect of space and time itself."

"I give you an A, Weiss." The said Atlesian puffed with pride. "Whereas what I created was an opposite. What if there was something that expands outward from the singularity instead of inward? To not inhale all forms of matter but eject it?"

"Um… it gets… bloated?" Ruby answered, still confused by all the math and science.

"Close. It is actually all information, light, and energy-matter can escape from it." They witnessed a white hole manifest but this one ejected the stars the black hole took.

"So pretty…" Blake muttered with awe.

"A black hole takes, a white hole ejects. If collided-"

"The gravitational energy will have nothing to take and remain where it is." Qrow realized. "Like magnetism, right?"

"Of sorts but yes. Merging the two would create a fusion. Say an apple is between the two. The black hole is trying to inhale it but the White Hole forces ejection. At the same time, you get…" she displayed the event and saw the apple as both cosmic events happened at the same time but collided… the apple looked new as if no damage had been done.

"You merge what was broken. It may look like the same apple but in reality… the fruit had its lifespan from its previous event but all the while it has a new lifespan. You merge it into something that is the same apple but never remembers the damage it suffered before."

"Wahh… I don't get all this complicated stuff…" Ruby groaned, holding her head as smoke was fuming out of her ears from the complicated overload of information.

"Basically Ruby, their effects cancel out one another. Evol destroys it, she recreates it anew." Yang answered, giving Ruby an easier explanation.

"Oohhhhh."

"My speed in it is fast enough to equal the concept of such matter that it makes it look like I am standing still without raising a finger but in reality? I was already moving." Lily added.

"Making it seem she's using both Lightspeed and temporal movement." Oscar noted with awe.

"Seems she's now faster than you Ruby." Yang chuckled, teasing her sister.

"Heeeyyy! She cheated by using the armor!"

The former bluenette snorted. "I can still move fast to beat you without it, Rose."

"Not fair…" Ruby pouted, cheeks puffed with annoyance as everyone shared a hearty laugh.

"Guess that means Evol finally met his equal again huh?" Qrow mused. "Glad to see that snake get his ass kicked, running with his tail between his legs."

"We all are… And this time, he's the one on the run." Cody nodded with approval.

"No." Everyone turned back to Lily who steepled her hands together. "Just because I won… he is still one with many followers and his technology in Eden. Hope may be brought again, the snake hasn't lost his head yet. Until it is… he still slithers in the shadows."

"Then how can we fight back? Even with Lily, we're still going to be outclassed." Jaune frowned, knowing that only her and Cody can do real damage.

The saint laxed against the seat. "There… is something I have been working on… for Cody…" she confessed.

"Huh? For me?" Cody pointed to himself, confused.

"A Bottle… one that could help you be an equal to me and Evol but alas it is still in the structure stage." She sighed.

"You know, speaking of him…" Weiss spoke up, "How… did he regain his power? Given what Evol has stated and shown, he should be like us now, right?"

Lily smiled slightly. "Mother told me one cannot be without the other. A best match she once stated."

"Best match?"

"Two different elements that create one great potential."

"And… somehow that made him get his power back?" Ruby questioned.

"Cody what was on your mind when you reawakened the Evol Genes?"

"I… wanted to save and protect everyone… Protect Yang…" He confessed, earning a blush on his cheeks as the brawler awed with delight. "But I wanted to free you from Evol… for what you did for me by freeing me."

"And there's the Best Match. To free what you wanted to save…" she pressed a fist on top of Cody's head. "It… gave some results but in the end you achieved it."

Cody laughed slightly to the sisterly affection.

"Now…" Lily stretched and stood up. "I have some work to do. Technology of mine to fix. And of course, to create more efficient methods in case the snake decides to slither his ass back for a second round."

"Hm? Like what?" Ruby asked.

"Oh you'll see… But first? I will need everyone's weapons." Lily announced as she looked to Yang, "And your robot arm too."

"Eh?"

"Weapons. Hand them over."

"HUH?!"

XXX

Within the town, many of the people were hard at work to rebuild what Evol and the White Fang had destroyed, many of them salvaging what could be saved, while others were helping rebuild what was destroyed. It was hard work for sure, but one showing cooperation from everyone.

Lily stretched her limbs before peering at the weapons laid out. She doesn't have much of a workshop but her Semblance is her workshop. To create and manipulate any form of technology. With her Semblance evolution there were new tricks but will save them as a wild card.

"Set them there." The hovering claw pointed for her as her creations set the few weapons she had finished onto it.

She created a small mechanism in their weapons that will allow them to use a Fullbottle. Not easy given she had to ensure the weapons had no complications upon transformation between both modes. Ruby's weapon especially.

Why does that girl revere her weapon like it was her own child? Yeesh.

Her hand brushed across Cerberus before applying the final piece back together. Raising the holo-lens, she smiled. "That should do it." She stood up and swung Crescent Rose. She flicked it with ease, spinning it before pulling the switch, forcing a burst of power to be released and slice a thick metal totem she made with ease. "Excellent. Jet suits this weapon." She forced it into Sniper mode and raised it, firing a bullet but upon it was a trail of petals. "As does the Rose."

Cerberus's head stood up as it made a soft bark. Not one of danger or worry, but… of greeting.

[Master, Blake spotted.] Cyclops informed.

Lily raised her head to notice the Cat Faunus. "Oh Blake. I thought you would be with your parents?"

"I was… Just got done talking to them. They'll remain here to help out Haven until our train departs next week." Blake informed, "I um… just wanted to stop by."

"And what of Rose and Jared?"

"Mom will watch over them for you." She saw Lily's shoulders relaxed.

"Good…" Lily handed the weapon to the Arma Gigas-sized machine who set Crescent Rose with the other weapons. It then returned to its creator and handed it Gambol Shroud. Lily quirked a brow before seeing it gesture towards their ally. "Oh, right." She walked over to her friend. "Here. Tell me what you think since you got here."

Blake tilted her head with confusion as she took up her weapon again. Not much from it had changed, but she soon took notice of an additional slot along the barrel of the weapon.

"You… added a mechanism?"

The saint created a metal totem. "Strike it."

"O.. kay?" Looking at the totem, Blake's eyes narrowed before firing at it. However what she didn't expect was not one line but two bullet holes appeared and fell into two other pieces. "What… was that?"

"Ninja Fullbottle."

"You gave us an addition to use a Fullbottle?" Blake gasped with surprise.

"In melee mode, it is infused with the Inorganic while Gun mode has Organic. Figured you all could finally use an upgrade… This way I can relax knowing you won't be hurt by any of Evol's creations…" Lily admitted to the Faunus.

Blake smiled softly, gently grasping the weapon before she set it down. But instead of a vocal answer, Blake responded to Lily by giving her a hug.

"It's great so far…. Thank you." Blake muttered. "I'm really glad… that you're back. I really thought you…"

"Died?" Lily guessed, earning a nod. "Yeah… I was and… not much to go on of how the experience was."

"To… be honest with you, Lily… I… I felt so scared when that happened… I only saw red and wanted to make Evol pay for everything…" Blake confessed to Lily and how the saint's death meant to her. "I… I didn't know what to do after all of that… I… I felt like I couldn't continue to live on after your sacrifice…" she buried her head against the bat-dragon Rider's shoulder. "I wanted you to stay…"

Lily saw how Blake was tearing up, trying to express how much it hurt the Faunus when she died. Tears raced down Blake's face as her cat ears folded down with despair and her hug tightening, praying this still wasn't some dream or illusion.

Hesitant at first, Lily slowly curled her arm around Blake to return the tightening embrace. "I know you are scared…. And you have every right to be Blake. Losing something doesn't mean it's the end." She winced slightly as her aura flickered. Her creations nearly reacted with intention but she mentally commanded them to stand down and be dismissed which they did.

"I know it's not the end… but… with you? So many things have changed for me… so many things I never expected…." Blake murmured and the pressure of her head on the saint's shoulder increased, "Like falling in love…"

Lily's eyes slowly widened. "Blake…?" She didn't know if that emotion was towards her.

"Lily… I… I'm in love with you…" Blake confessed, "You reminded me so much of myself… your conviction to stop Evol and save Remnant touched me… I couldn't help but have these feelings for you when you came to Menagerie, and after getting to know you personally? These feelings grew even more…" she lowered her head. "I-I know what you are thinking… given my previous relationship with him you would assume…"

"That you didn't feel attracted towards the same sex." Lily saw Blake nod briefly.

"I… know I can't ever replace Crystal… but…"

"Replace? Blake…" Lily cupped Blake's cheek to make her look back up to her, "While Crystal meant a lot to me… she and I were friends. Yes I did share a night with her… but it never went to the point to have a relationship… plus… how could you replace someone when you matter just as much to me, as Cody does?"

"Lily…"

"Like you said… I grew close to you when I came to Menagerie… and.. I was more worried that me and the twins wouldn't be accepted… Yet you did. And I came to understand you and respect you more than I already did." Lily explained to her. "But… I only pushed you away, because of what I was and didn't want to drag you further than I already have been…"

"Lily… You didn't drag me further down." Blake shook her head, "I choose to follow after you… Much like how Cody didn't want to give up on helping you out of Evol's clutches? I wanted to help you see the light as well… Show that even you can have a normal life like the rest of us."

Her fingers slid between Lily's. "I know I am a Faunus… part of the reformed White Fang. You being human… once part of Faust… will this difference… bother you?"

Lily's eyes soften before tightening her hold on Blake's hand. She wasn't going to hide it any more. "You… want my answer?" The Cat Faunus nodded. "Here is my answer."

"What is-" Blake was silenced when Lily kissed her. The bat dragon proved her worth and heart to the feline.

Blake's eyes fluttered closed before she wrapped her arms around Lily, who returned the kiss and embrace well in return. Lily initially parted, a glimmering emerald met amber. Vernage or Lily, to Blake she is still the same girl.

The former agent of Faust lightly pressed her forehead against the Faunus' own. "You have my word that no matter what, I will keep fighting for our sake, not for my own." She leaned slightly up to Blake's cat ear. "When night falls… I will be the moon and you the shadow of the stars."

Blake's face tinged pink.

On the couch, Cody was resting his head on Yang's lap. The brawler tending to him with gentle pets to the head with a smile on her face. Her heart fluttering with delight and happiness now that her man is back with her. For now, she was simply wanting to give him affection for the several months apart after Evol took his body, and she'll remind him well why they were meant to be.

"You know how much I'm going to pamper you, right?" Yang smirked softly to the boy.

"Enough to make the others blush?" Cody responded with a chuckle. He yelped when a tiny lock of his hair was tugged.

"Don't get so snippy now."

"Alright, alright, you win."

"Good…" Yang smiled before she leaned down as she pulled back a few strands of her hair, as she gently kissed the young rider, who returned it in kind. "I truly missed you, ya know?"

"I do… I promise that it won't happen again… And I mean it this time." The young rider proclaimed as he held her hand tightly.

"You better… otherwise I'll curse you."

"Can that even happen?"

"Hey, if it is to make sure you keep a promise?"

Cody chuckled before nodding, "okay… I promise." He proclaimed as the two kissed once more. "You're my shining dragon… and I'm your passionate flame…"

"Hehe, stole that from one of Blake's books?" Yang chuckled from the cheesy line.

"Huh? I thought it was Ruby's?"

"… Say what?"

"I found it under Ruby's pillow when you guys were at Beacon."

"…." The brawler's brow twitched slightly before it became an erratic twitch.

"Uh oh."

"One more card, Jaune!" Nora cheered.

"Almost… got it…!" Jaune shakingly yet slowly began to set the card onto the very top of the large stack.

"BLLLLAAAAAAAAKKKKKKEEEEEE!" Yang's voice yelled so loud it made Jaune lose balance and fall onto the large castle of cards.

"Nooo!" Jaune and Nora cried out in unison.

"Four hours…." The knight groaned as he fell to his knees from losing that much time on it.

"And finished…" Ren announced as he had finished the task before them. "Which means I win. Healthy smoothies for us all." He announced, showing it was a bet between them on something for later.

XXX

"N-Now hold on, Yang! No need to confront Blake about it! Shouldn't it be Ruby's fault since she technically took it from her?"

"Blake promised she wouldn't leave it out for Ruby to see! She broke that promise!"

Cody was trying to hold Yang back, yet she was surprisingly yet slowly making her way to the door to confront Blake about her book.

"She's 16 now, Yang! She's not a little kid!" Cody grunted, shocked that Yang got stronger now. "Hell Junior once mentioned you got a strawberry sunrise and you are not old enough to drink one!"

"That was then, this is now."

"It still counts!" He firmly planted his feet, slowly coming to a stop thanks to his enhanced strength.

"Let me go, Cody…" Yang ordered, her eyes red once more.

"Yang, relax! It's not that big of a deal now! Besides… we're back together again. Isn't that more important?"

Yang stared before she slowly took a deep breath. Her crimson hue faded and relaxed albeit slightly. Seeing her calm gave the hybrid relief.

"Fair enough…" She said to him before walking over only to slightly grip his collar, "But in the meantime… I still need to give you, your christmas present that you missed out on."

"E-Eh..?" Cody blinked. "W-What… does that mean?"

The busty blonde brawler said nothing as she then began to pull Cody away to a more… 'private' place as this was something she was waiting to do, and now she has her chance.

Suffice to say, this day was something well for two certain people.

XXX

The next day….

"Here you all go, your weapons are back." Lily announced, handing back nearly everyone's weapons.

"Aahh! Crescent Rose, I missed you!" Ruby quickly hugged her weapon, peppering it with affection and delight.

"So, I don't want to seem like I distrust you, Lily… But what on earth did you do?" Weiss asked as she was still very curious to know what the saint did with their weapons.

"I reworked them so that you all can fight against Evol and whatever he throws at you." Lily explained, "I basically added on the feature to use certain Fullbottles that would be compatible with you all."

"You're… giving us Fullbottles?" Jaune got out.

"Only two. Like I said, only the ones that work with your prowess, expertise, and fighting capabilities. Can't just hand you everything, can I?" Lily pointed out.

"You have been up the whole night working on this?"

"Yup."

"So cool!" Ruby hugged her weapon. None of knew what else Lily was up to. "Which Bottles did we get?"

"Your weapon has Jet for melee and Rose for gun."

"Figured her's would represent her name and Semblance." Weiss shrugged.

"I can be even faster now!" Ruby gasped with delight and possibility of being even faster than before.

"Only your weapon."

"Booooo."

"Weiss has Diamond and Unicorn."

"I can see the first one… but 'Unicorn'?"

Ruby snickered, "It's because you're majestic like one! Even tho, they don't exist!"

"Har har…" Weiss rolled her eyes at the reasoning. "Says the girl who once assumed there is a fairy that brings you cookies."

"She is real, I swear it! I saw her with my own two eyes!"

"Jaune has Lion and Light." Lily continued.

"Lion?" Jaune blinked with surprise.

"King of beasts. But they are a symbol of leadership and might. You may be naive and oblivious… but you have a righteous heart."

"Heh… thanks Lily. That means a lot." Jaune smiled softly, gently grasping the red band that belonged to Pyrrha.

"Don't push it or I will sic Cerberus on ya."

"Y-Yes Saint!" He fearfully saluted.

"Ren, your weapons has Gatling and Wolf. Just because a wolf goes on its own… it is not always alone."

"Fitting enough." Ren nodded with approval.

"Oh oh! Me next! Me next!" Nora raised her hand with delight.

"You have Train." Nora mimicked the sound in excitement. "And Gorilla."

"Yes! More smashing power!" Nora grinned with delight and excitement, almost ready to actually use the said weapon.

"Oscar." The boy perked up. "While I am not holding that cane because of its build up of energy, I decided to make a weapon for you, not for Ozma. No offense, Ozma if you can hear me."

"Of course… but you didn't have to." He responded, showing his humbleness compared to Ozma.

"Take it." Oscar nearly buckled and looked down, seeing a dagger that held a clock mechanism. "Turtle and Watch. You may be a slow kid… but at least you are doing something right at such a pace."

"Huh… fitting." Oscar noted with surprise as he bowed his head with acceptance as he pocketed it.

"Yang." She tossed Yang the shotguns. "Yours is Phoenix and Robot."

"Sweet! Can't wait to test em out!"

"Blake had already tested hers after I used Crescent Rose."

"You used my precious scythe!?"

"Have to make sure they don't break under the power of the bottles, kiddo." Lily pointed out. "Now where was I? Ah right. Virtuous Steel will not have FullBottles due to its enchantments but, I will use them for alternate purpose."

"What Bottles are you gonna use?"

"Rabbit and tank."

"Not the former two you had?" Jaune questioned.

"Cody destroyed them when he used that… Great Dragon was it, Cody?"

"Uh… heh… yeah sorry…" The rider apologized.

"Thus I am stuck with my Saint Fullbottle from here on." She wagged the stark white Evol Driver.

"It's white!"

"Needed a better paint job then having Evol's colors on it."

"Touche."

"Well, at least you kids will have a better chance to do something." Qrow noted with a swig of his flask.

"I may not have given you one, due to well… your Semblance." Lily pointed out, "I still at least upgraded your blades and bullets to at least pierce through a Guardian's hide."

"Smart choice." He nodded with approval.

"This was still very nice of you to do for us, Lily… Thank you." Ruby smiled caringly at the saint, showing that they truly appreciated the extra help against Evol and Faust now.

"It's the least I can do… especially after everything I've caused back then." Lily noted before taking a short breath to relax, "Besides… much like my brother here. I've grown to like you all too. I don't want anyone else to die under that snake's bite again… like before…"

"Lily…" Blake got out with a sad look.

"Well, then what's the next plan? We can't fully stay here anymore. With everything that happened, it would be best to move onward." Ruby stated to everyone, as they needed a new plan now.

"We have to get to Atlas." Now it was Ozma who spoke in Oscar's place.

"Atlas is far ways away and didn't Weiss mention the embargo?" Lily recalled.

"It's one of the reasons why I left…" Weiss frowned, remembering how awful it was, especially with her father. "With the Embargo, there is no way you can get into Atlas unless anyone here has any bright ideas when we get to Argus."

All eyes went to Lily. "… What?" She looked left and right. She stared before she facepalmed, dragging her hand across her face. "You want me to hack into Atlas to clear us a way through. Is that what all of your eyes are telling me?"

"As a last resort." Ozma quickly assured, "We hope that just by being there with Miss Schnee, that's all we'll need to get into Atlas."

"So we take the train to Argus." Qrow decided. "And from there do what we can."

"Sounds like a plan. I will have Cyclops gather our baggage tomorrow once everyone packs by then." Lily agreed. "Sounds alright with you all?"

"Yup!"

"We should also make sure to bring some thicker clothes. Don't want to be fully freezing out there." Cody spoke up.

"Why are you suggesting that? You and Lily don't have to worry about such things like the rest of us." Yang poked his forehead with a cheeky smirk.

"I just want everyone to be safe." The rider huffed. "We still have Grimm on the outskirts so anything can happen."

"Don't jinx it Cody."

"Okay, okay." The blonde gave in. With their plan set, he watched everyone do their last day tasks but briefly noticed Lily talking to Blake. The air around them was certainly different.

"Is it me or is Lily more…" Cody started.

"Overly positive?" Yang guessed. "A tad-bit more happy than usual? Peculiar?"

"No… er… well yes."

"Hmm… wanna sneak up and find out?" Yang grinned.

"Wh-What? If sis finds out she will probably hang me up somewhere while I flail like a fish! Or better yet sic her dog on me! You try avoiding a three-tailed chainsaw dog who can extend its tails to a crazy degree."

"Come on, Cody. Aren't you curious? Stop being so scared." Yang patted his back before she then kneeled down and began to sneak up on the pair.

Cody groaned as he didn't want Yang to be fully to blame, thus he followed her suit even if he was scared stiff. "She is going to scold me for sure…" he grumbled to himself.

"What's life without danger?" Yang snickered. "Besides, this isn't the worst you've had."

The couple noticed the two individuals talking to one another with positivity. Now that they noticed they had an odd glow around them. Not in a literal sense but a figurative one.

Seeing Blake smile and laugh, it was clear something was going on between her and Lily.

"Say…. I think I may know what's going on." Yang noted with a hum of amusement.

"Hm? You do?" Cody blinked as he was still confused. "Cuz Blake is laughing and smiling as she talks to Lily. Has she ever laughed and smiled?"

"Smiled? Sometimes. Laugh? Not at this level, Cody."

"Well they did spend a lot of time together in Menagerie. Maybe Lily just knows how to make Blake laugh." Cody shrugged, not able to see past it.

"And they just kissed."

Cody snapped his head to a full 90 degrees and saw what Yang saw. The Saint who cupped Blake's chin was kissing the Faunus.

"H-HUH?!" Cody gawked. "They're dating?!" He shouted out, loud enough for the other pair to hear and turn to them. "Oops."

"Y-You two?!" Blake quickly hid behind Lily in embarrassment.

"Er… um… it's… not what it looks like?" Cody said holding up his hands.

"Oh please, enlighten me, Cody." Lily smiled but there was a dangerous aura seeping off her. The magic in the air twisting by her mental state.

"I-It was Yang! She-"

"Isn't with you." Lily pointed out.

Cody quickly snapped to see that Yang had bailed, leaving him and making it seem this was his plan.

Lily loomed over him as the blonde felt like he was no longer the proud azure dragon against the almighty black dragon.

"P-Please be gentle?" He pleaded to her.

"Oh don't worry, I won't pummel you." Cody sighed in relief. "One of my creations will." On que, her Semblance activated, conjuring Cerberus, Gargoyle, Gremlin, and Cyclops. "Choose which one gets to pummel you for eavesdropping, spying on my new love life, and embarrassing Blake or I will have all four do pummel together."

"Why me?!" The blonde rider cried out, only for the people outside to hear a cry of remorse from someone afar.

"NEVER EAVESDROP ON MY ACTIVITIES!"

The biggest lesson here… never spy on Lily's personal activities.

XXX

Within Eden, Evol panted heavily as he recovered from the fight against Bat-chan. No, Bat-chan wasn't the name to address her anymore. She was Vernage. The stupid Saint he hates so much.

Hate…

His fingers clenched over his chest at the rush of emotions. Ever since she delivered a few good blows, new sensations have been erupting from him. He bashed his fist against the armrest, exhaling before inhaling. Relaxing against the throne, he drummed his fingers. "Nothing to worry about… just a minor fluke… just… a minor… fluke."

Evol has never had a defeat before, not to this extent. Not only did someone actually manage to make something he has never done before, but even outdo his max power! There should be no way a mere mortal lifeform like this, be capable of such feats.

He has devoured many planets and people alike. From the stupidest of monkeys to the most technological machines out there! None have beaten him! Yet… here he was, licking his wounds and being overstimulated by new sensations he has never felt before.

The doors to the throne room were pushed open, making him raise his head. "Oh it's the devilish knuckleheads. Come on, walk in." The Hell Bros carefully paced and slowed their steps. "What do you two want?"

"Um… well… do you want good news…?"

"Or bad news?"

"Good news first and always." Evol answered.

"Everyone still follows you, Lord Evol! Rest assured they look up to you!"

Evol inhaled. "Now the veggies, give it."

"Er…" 898 swallowed. "While we lost several dozen Guardians… the plants keep on blooming around the kingdom so…" They winced to the burst of magic.

"So that means, all of the technology I've been putting out is now worthless?"

"They still work! Just… only lost several dozen Guardians is all…"

"And yet here I am, licking my wounds from dear Vernage who had been the one to do this to me?!" Evol barked, lushing himself off the throne. The twins quickly kneeled in fear. "I was thought to be successful but noooo I got my ass kicked by Vernage!"

"M-Maybe there can still be something that you can do to her, Lord Evol?" 899 stated, trying to calm him down from his new outbursts.

"Oh then tell what what brilliant ideas you have because I bed the only thing 898 has is finding which skirt to chase!" Evol growled. "So give me an answer! What do you think?!"

"U-Um… w-we… I-I…"

"Creator." Evol raised his head to notice a Guardian who saluted. "Report, unidentified activity occurring in remnants of Kuroyuri. Reason: unknown. Cause: unknown. Detection: 95% familial match."

"And why should this matter to me?"

"The match is of you, creator." It revealed.

Evol froze for a moment, slowly turning to the Guardian as he remained silent. This meant one of two things… either his cousin or… his brother…

Evol sat against his throne. "Computer, open map of Remnant." The systems activated. "Locate those with the Blood Gene." He still saw countless red dots. "Those with unfiltered Blood Gene."

It was nothing at first until it turned from a hundred thousand dots… into seven dots. One in Eden which was Evol himself, another that is Cody… one in the location the Guardian reported and four in the desert of Vacuo. Evol stood up, full of disbelief. "Masaka…"

"L-Lord Evol?"

"Keep Eden under lockdown until I say so."

"Wh-What's going on?"

"A family reunion. That is what's happening."

Evol glared at the targets, as while he wanted to continue his attack against Vernage and boyo… this could be more problematic compared to them… Especially if they're here to 'clean up'.

"Guess I have to tell the wicked witch about this."

His Tribe had survived and had set their hungry eyes on Remnant. For once, he may have to change plans just so he doesn't get put in their crosshairs… hopefully they'll work alongside him otherwise even this universe will just become empty like the void itself.

A/N: Welp another chap done! This one I wanted to give everyone a small break to relax before we get into Vol 7's clusterfuck of emotions and such. Yeah, its a short chap but hey sometimes you need one like this.

Anywho, as you all can see? We had Blake and Lily confess and be a couple. While I was going to save that for Vol 9, Shadow, my co-writer, gave me a different idea to go with and what he said to me for the plans about it, I thought would make sense. Can't say much else cause spoilers.

But asides from that, Lily helped finally give everyone a bit of an upgrade. This was one thing I thought of way earlier, but Shadow convinced me to hold it off until now. And yeah it makes sense if you think about it. Now that they have a fighting chance against Evol, any precaution or worries of copying the tech is now null and void. And we gave everyone what we could consider their own "Best Matches".

Now, I know many of you would rather give Ren, Ninja/Comic and Yang, Dragon. But we felt like all of these fitted the characters much more. Now I'll say this right now, just cause they have the bottles, doesn't mean they'll be riders. They're now more than capable of fending off Faust.

Tho the BIG reveal was the signals of other Blood Tribe members. I think you all know who we're hinting at. :3 Big plans for them but have to be hush hush on it all.

Until then, later minna!
