It was about dawn by the time Giratina and Xerneas made it far away from the base. Soon enough, they were at the heart of Kalos, where a forest where Xerneas lived was.
Xerneas laid down on the grass and sighed. She observed the prism she had again, admiring the many colors it shifted into.
"Do you recognize it in a way?" Giratina asked her, coming to Xerneas's side. He knew that she had been in Alola for a while before. He didn't know what exactly she did there yet, but what he did know was that there was an incident that took place while she was there, and that she did help the Legendary Pokémon there too.
But Xerneas shook her head. "No… I don't remember anything about this when I was in Alola… Solgaleo and Lunala didn't tell me anything about this…" She said to him, not looking up from the prism. "I might have a guess, but I'm not so sure about it. But on the bright side, I told you this might be important!"
"Yeah sure…"
Xerneas got up. "Crystal said she got this from Alola." She said to him. "So I guess that means we should take this back there and hide it."
"Where to?" Giratina asked, Following her.
"There's a place there that I think marks the first appearance of the Ultra Beasts in Akala Island." She explained. "Maybe we can take it there and bury it. That way no one will be able to find it for at least a long time."
