Purvi twirled and spun, her bright pink and green lehenga shimmering under the bright lights of the auditorium. She was part of the dance group for her college's annual function, and they were performing a lively routine to a popular Bollywood song. They were performing a high-energy routine, and the audience was clapping along to the beat.
As she danced, Purvi's eyes scanned the crowd, taking in the sea of faces. That's when she saw him - a man standing at the edge of the auditorium, his eyes fixed intently on her group. He was dressed in a dark shirt and pants.
She realised that he had been watching them since they entered the college. But Purvi didn't think much of it, assuming he was just a proud parent or dance enthusiast enjoying the performance. She focused on the music and the choreography, losing herself in the rhythm and the excitement of the moment.
As the performance went on, Purvi caught glimpses of the man, but he didn't stand out anymore. She was too caught up in the dance, her heart pounding with excitement and her spirit soaring with joy.
It wasn't until the performance ended and the group took their final bow that Purvi felt a sense of relief wash over her. She smiled and laughed with her friends, basking in the applause and the sense of accomplishment.
But as they exited the stage, Now everything seemed normal. The audience was cheering, her friends were chattering, and the man was nowhere to be seen.
As the college function came to a close, Ankita and her friends made their way to the canteen, chatting and laughing. They settled into a corner table, ordering sandwiches and coffee as they continued to buzz with excitement.
Unbeknownst to them, Abhijeet's informant had followed them to the canteen, blending into the crowd as he kept a watchful eye on Ankita. He sipped on a cup of coffee, his gaze fixed on her as she chatted with her friends.
Ankita and her friends were oblivious to the informant's presence, too caught up in their own conversation to notice him. They talked about their plans for the summer, their dreams and aspirations, and their favorite moments from the college function.
As they ate and chatted, the informant continued to watch Ankita, his eyes narrowing as he took in every detail.
The informant quickly pulled out his phone and dialed Abhijeet's number, his eyes fixed on ankita as he spoke in a low tone.
On Call.
Informant: Hello abhijeet sir.
Abhi: Haan bolo?
Informant: Sir wo ladki abhi yahin hai, college khatam ho gaya hai aur wo M.N.L University ke pas wali canteen mai aapne dosto ke saath bethi hai.
Abhi: Hmm aur??
Informant: Sahab usne hare aur gulaabi rang ka lehenga pehan rakha hai aur khidki se teesre number ke table par bethi hai. Aur haan wo abhi coffee pee rahi hai aur sandwich khaa rahi hai.
Abhi: Thek hai. Nazar banaye rakho uspar mere aadmi aate hi honge.
Informant: Sahab aapke aadmi aa hi rahe hain toh main jaau?
Abhi: Lekin-- thek hai jaao aage baaki log sambhal lenge.
Informant: Shukriya sahab.
Cal ended.
He hung up the phone and quickly got up from his seat, melting into the crowd as he disappeared from the canteen.
But what he didn't notice was that Ankita and her friends had already left the canteen.
Purvi and ria entered the canteen while talking.
Purvi: Sach main bahut maza aaya aaj.
Ria: Mujhe toh ab bukh lag rahi hai. Main coffee aur sandwich order kr deti hu.
Purvi: Mujhe neend aarahi hai yar ghar jaakr so jaungi sidhe. Are yar yahan toh jaghe hi nhi hai, chal ghar hi chalte hain.
Ria: Wahan dekh hai toh chal udher bethte hain.
She pulled Purvi with her and both of them sat where Ankita and her friends were sitting some time ago.
Purvi and Ria chatted and laughed .Just then, a man approached their table.
Man: Excuse me??
Purvi: Yes?
Man: Wo aapko bahar koi bula raha hai.
Purvi: Mujhe?
Man: Haan.
Purvi: Kon?
Man: Mujhe pata nahi unhone kaha ki aapko bula du , mai toh bas coffee peene aaya hun yahan.
Purvi: Okay thanks.
Purvi and Ria looked at each other shrug, then got up to pay for their food.
Outside the canteen, they looked around, wondering who had called them.
Purvi: Tujhe koi mila kya?
Ria scanned the area, but there was no one in sight.
Ria: Nahi na koi bhi nhi dikha.
Just then, a hand reached out from behind a nearby van and grabbed Purvi's arm, pulling her into the vehicle.
Purvi "Screamed" : Riaaaa.
Ria: Purvi, Heyy kya kar rahe ho chhodo use.
Ria tried to rush to her friend's aid, but she was quickly grabbed as well, and both girls were made unconscious.
The van sped away, leaving the canteen and the college grounds behind. Purvi and Ria were unaware of the danger they were in, or where they were being taken.
After 1 and half hour. Purvi and Ria slowly regained consciousness, their heads throbbing with pain. They found themselves in a dark room, lit only by a faint light bulb hanging from the ceiling. A man sat in front of them, his face obscured by shadows.
As they struggled to sit up, they noticed several men standing around them, their faces menacing and unyielding. Purvi and Ria exchanged a terrified glance, their hearts racing with fear.
Purvi: Kon ho tum log aur hume kyun kidnap Kiya hai ? Bolo?
Purvi demanded, trying to keep her voice steady.
The man in front of them didn't respond, his gaze fixed on them with an unnerving intensity.
Ria: Kya chahiye hum logo se?
Ria asked, her voice trembling.
Just then light's got on and they saw man's face who is sitting in front of them. They instinctively leaned into each other, seeking comfort and support.
Purvi "whispered": Kon hai yeh?
Ria replied, her voice barely audible.
Ria: Jo bhi hai kitna hot hai yar.
Purvi "Whisperd" : Kya bol rahi ho. Yahan se nikalne ka sochna hai abhi hume.
Ria nodded, her gaze fixed on the mysterious man.
Ria : I know but seriously yar, have you seen those piercing eyes? Uff.
Purvi " Whisperd" : Hum kaisi situation main fase hain aur tumhe crush ho raha hai wo bhi apne hi kidnapper par.
The man in front of them cleared his throat, his deep voice commanding attention.
Man: Tum logon ki baatein ho gayin ho toh hum kuch baat kare?
Purvi and Ria exchanged a fearful glance, unsure of what lay ahead. The man's gaze locked onto Purvi, his eyes gleaming with intensity.
Man: Waise tum sach mai khoobsurat toh kaafi ho.
Ria "spoke up" : A..aur mai?
Purvi quickly pinched Ria's shoulder, trying to silence her. "Ow!" Ria whispered, rubbing her shoulder.
The man chuckled.
Man: You're quite lovely yourself.
Ria smiled, seeming to bask in the man's attention. Purvi, on the other hand, looked uncomfortable, her eyes darting around the room.
Purvi: Kon ho tum? Aur hume yahan kyun laaye ho??
Purvi demanded, trying to shift the focus away from their physical appearance. The man leaned forward, his eyes glinting.
Man: Mera naam Abhijeet hai. Aur rahi baat tum dono ko yahan laane ki toh laana toh sirf tumhe chahte the fir socha shaadi mai bestfriend ka hona zaroori hai na.
Purvi and Ria exchanged a fearful glance, unsure of what Abhijeet's words meant.
Abhi: Hah!! Tumse shaadi karni hai mujhe.
Purvi's eyes widened in shock.
Purvi: KYAAA?!?? YEH KABHI NAHI HO SAKTA. TUMSE SHAADI AUR WO BHI MAI? NEVER
Abhi chuckled, his smile sending shivers down Purvi's spine.
Abhi: Puch nhi raha hun bata raha hun.
He said, his voice dripping with arrogance. Purvi's face twisted in anger.
Purvi: Main tumhari complain karungi cid mai, wo log chhodenge nhi tumhe.
She threatened, trying to sound braver than she felt. Abhi just chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement.
Abhi "Sarcastically": ohh main sach mai darr gaya.
Ria, who had been watching the exchange with interest, spoke up.
Ria: Agar purvi aapse shaadi nhi karna chahti toh force nhi karna chahiye, aap mujhse shaadi karlo.
She said, her voice sweet and innocent.
Purvi's eyes widened in shock, her mouth hanging open in disbelief.
Purvi: Ria, Yeh kya keh rahi ho tum???
She whispered, her eyes pleading with her friend to stop. Abhi's gaze locked onto Ria, his eyes gleaming with interest.
Abhi: Ah! hoshiyar ho tum. Kya naam hai tumhara?
Ria: Riaa.
Abhi: I think I like your style.
Purvi "whispered" : Kya bakwas kiye jaa rahi ho tum? Have you lost your mind?
Ria "Whisperd": Come on, Yar. dekh na kitna hot hai handsome hai, charming hai aur ameer bhi lag raha hai.
Purvi: Mazak nahi chal raha hai yeh.
Ria "sighed" : Spoilsport, Itna bhi bura nhi lagg raha yeh. Soch na kitni masti kar sakte hain hum log agar yeh tera jija bann jaaye.
Purvi: Ria please just stop.
Abhijeet "chuckled" : I think Ria has a point, Itna bhi bura nhi hu mai, hai na?
Purvi glared at him: Tum bure se bhi battar ho, tum kidnapper ho.
Abhi: chalo bahut hui baatein shaadi ka samay nikla jaa raha hai.
Purvi: Main nahi kar rhi tumse shaadi samjhe.
Abhi: Pehle bhi kaha tha ab bhi keh raha hun, tumhari haan ya naa se kisi ko farak nhi padta yahan par.
Abhi grasped Purvi's arm, his grip like a vice.
Abhi: Chalo utho.
He said, pulling her up from the ground.
Purvi: Haath chhodo mera. I said leave my hand you bastard.
Purvi tried to resist, but Abhi's grip was too strong. She tried to pull her hand away, but he held fast. She even bit down on his arm, but he didn't flinch.
Ria struggled against the men holding her, but they were too powerful.
Ria: Purviiii, Helpp!! she cried out.
Abhi pulled Purvi along, his men following close behind with Ria. They dragged the girls through the dark corridors, their struggles and protests ignored.
Purvi's heart raced with fear. Where were they being taken? What did Abhijeet plan to do with them?
She tried to think of a way to escape, but Abhijeet's grip was too strong. She was trapped.
As they turned a corner, Purvi saw a glimmer of light ahead. The doors burst open, and they were dragged outside into the evening air.
A black van waited, its engine running. Abhi pushed Purvi inside, his men following with Ria.
The doors slammed shut behind them, and the van sped away.
