Chapter Eighty-Six

Confrontation with Mech

Meanwhile the Hamato Clan had followed Silas and his soldiers to the back of the tunnel.

Leonardo led the way with his katana's up whilst the others crept behind him.

"Maybe this wasn't such a good idea Leo?" Donatello asked in a worried voice as he gripped his bo staff, "these guys have guns! We'll be sitting ducks!"

"We've fought gun tooters before Donnie." Raphael reminded his brother.

"Purple Dragons yes, but these are ex-army guys!"

"Quiet!" Leonardo snapped "Again we'll stick to the shadows, and we'll scatter, as long as we keep moving, they won't have an easy target to hit!"

Monalisa narrowed her eyes and kept her fans up, yet Michelangelo felt nervous.

Before long they turned a corner, and they soon saw an exit where a couple of soliders were heading out.

"Ah ha!" Leonardo said then ran forward before jumping forward and knocking the two men forward onto their stomachs.

"Strike!" Michelangelo cheered as he and the others ran over.

The two soldiers were winded as they felt Leonardo bowl them down, yet they didn't have a moment to say anything before Raphael and Monalisa grabbed him and turned them over.

"Gotcha!" Raphael growled before pulling the hood off one of them revealing him to be a blonde-haired Caucasian man.

Monalisa ripped the hood off her hostage, and he turned out to be a dark-haired man.

"So these dudes do have faces!" Michelangelo exclaimed.

"No shit freak!" Monalisa's hostage spat.

"Shut up!" Monalisa growled and pointed the sharp tip of her closed fan at his chin.

"We got questions, and you better have some answers for us!" Leonardo demanded "What is Mech? And who is Silas?"

"Fuck you!" Raphael's hostage growled "We'll tell you nothing!"

"Oh no?" Monalisa asked in a dangerous tone "Well, we got ways of making you talk!"

As she spoke she grabbed her hostages fingers and bent it backwards and a snap was heard before the man screamed in agony.

"Ahhhhh! Fuck!" he shouted.

The other turtles winced at the sound, but they knew how Monalisa tortured the Purple Dragons those years back when she was first mutated.

Monalisa glared at her hostage.

"And that was just a taste of what you'll experience, so I suggest you move your mouth!"

As she spoke, she heard the sound of cars and helicopters outside and Leonardo went over to the door only to see two helicopters lifting into the air and several cars driving off.

"It's Silas and his guys!" he shouted, "They're escaping!"

"What?" Raphael cried.

The two hostages looked horrified.

"He left us?" the blonde one exclaimed.

"Well, looks like Silas doesn't give a damn about you!" Michelangelo said looking at the two men.

"And we got two men to take to Agent Fowler!" Donatello said taking his bag off his shoulder and producing some handcuffs and duct tape.

Monalisa and Raphael grabbed the two men and pulled their arms behind their backs whilst Michelangelo and Donatello cuffed them.

"You have the right to remain silent anything you say will be given in evidence..." Michelangelo stated until Raphael elbowed him to be quiet.

Monalisa then wrapped some duct tape around the legs of the men before they could try and kick out and Raphael placed the tape over their mouths.

"Hopefully they'll be good use to Agent Fowler!" he smirked "Well done guys!" he said then looked over to Leonardo who was looking out of the doors.

"Fearless?" he asked.

"I just hope the Autobots are ready and aware!" he said "Come on! We better find them!"

"You got it!" Monalisa said "But first..." she held up her fingers and she pressed a pressure point on the two men's necks rendering them unconscious.

"That'll stop them being too much of a burden getting them where we want them!" she said.

"Nice job babe!" Raphael said as he hoisted his hostage on his shoulders and Michelangelo took the other.

"Okay, let's go and find the Autobots!" Leonardo said and led them outside to follow the path of Mech as they escaped.

Meanwhile, Bulkhead and Breakdown had made it to the other side of the tunnel where Bulkhead had broken in only to be confronted by a large group of Mech soldiers firing their guns at them, yet the two cybertronians were impervious to the bullets which just bounced off their metal bodies.

"Creature Double feature coming atcha!" Bulkhead shouted and threw his wrecking ball at the soldiers who ducked and jumped away to avoid it and Bulkhead and Breakdown soon made it outside into the outdoors, yet they were confronted by more bullets as more soldiers in a couple of helicopters and cars fired at them.

Shielding his face from the rain of bullets as well as a couple of missiles the helicopters shot at him, Breakdown turned to Bulkhead.

"You have some kind of escape plan?" he asked.

"Yep!" Bulkhead replied, "But you're not gonna like it!" he placed a finger on his audios as he continued to shield himself from Mech's bullets.

"Bulkhead to Optimus! Rendezvous to my co-ordinates." He said, "I'm in need of back-up!"

The two cybertronians continued to try and shield themselves from the bullets and Breakdown managed to grab a car he had managed to smash, and he threw it at one of the helicopters and it struck it before exploding in flames.

Bulkhead did the same as the soldiers escaped the cars and ran around trying to shoot at the giant robots, yet the bullets just kept ricocheting off the metal armour.

As Breakdown kept his face shielded, he looked up to see three more helicopters appear and he realised one of them had Silas in them and he was pointing a large gun down at him and Bulkhead.

At the same time, Bulkhead was getting exhausted as the many soldiers kept firing at him and he fell on his knees groaning.

Breakdown soon saw what looked like a bright white lightning bolt appear from the cannon on the helicopter and it was heading towards Bulkhead and he quick dove towards his rival and pushed him out the way!

Up in his helicopter Silas glowered as he watched and he ordered his pilot to fire again at the two cybertronians, but as he did, the screens picked up some other aircraft coming into their area.

"Sir! Incoming bogeys!"

Silas glared as he remembered the same aircraft from before when he had tried to make a grab for the dingus and he picked up a communicator from the helicopter's dashboard.

"All units." He spoke "Disengage and initiate omega protocols!"

At his command the soldiers stopped firing, and they retreated into the cars that hadn't been damaged and they drove off, and the helicopters dispersed.

Bulkhead and Breakdown were amazed that Mech suddenly fled but they soon found out why as they saw several jets flying towards them.

Breakdown due to the fact he only had one eye and because it was dark, he couldn't see clearly who or what was coming.

"Your back-up?" he asked Bulkhead yet before the wrecker could answer the jets flew over and transformed and revealed themselves to be Starscream and a few flying followers.

"Commander Starscream!" Breakdown exclaimed as he stood up.

"Consorting with the enemy Breakdown?" the Decepticon Seeker demanded as he strode over.

"But Bulkhead got me out of there!" Breakdown said looking to Bulkhead who looked rather proud of himself.

"Many spark felt thanks Autobot." Starscream said mockingly with a bow "Now destroy him!" he ordered Breakdown.

Breakdown was stunned and he looked to Bulkhead then back at Starscream.

"But...But..." he started but Starscream snapped.

"Do you plan on joining their ranks anytime soon?" Starscream demanded "No? then be done with him already!"

Breakdown looked back at Bulkhead who got ready to defend himself.

"Tough Break Bulkhead!" he said, "Maybe in the next life!" he morphed his servo into a hammer and lashed towards him, yet the wrecker avoided it and he used his wrecking ball to whack him away!

Starscream growled in frustration.

"Destroy him!" he roared yet Bulkhead threw his ball at him and whacked him into the air and away from him.

The vehicons quickly got ready to fire at Bulkhead, but the wrecker grabbed his rival and swung him around.

"Hammer Time!" he yelled then threw Breakdown's body at the vehicons knocking them down like skittles at a funfair.

"Come on! I'll scrap all of you!" he challenged as the Vehicons and Starscream picked themselves up and turned to face him and fight.

Yet they didn't get their chance as they heard gunfire and turned to see Optimus, Ironhide, Bumblebee and Ratchet running towards them!

Starscream glowered and started to run.

"Retreat!" he bellowed leaping into the air and transforming, the others following suit as they flew over Bulkhead and into the air.

Bulkhead watched them go then turned to Breakdown who also got up and pushing his rival away transformed and drove away into the darkness.

Meanwhile the Hamato Clan had made their way to where Bulkhead and Breakdown were and had seen Mech raining their missiles of bullets on them then saw Starscream and his followers arrive, and they had seen the whole scene from behind a nearby building.

"No way!" Michelangelo cried as he watched "After what Bulkhead went through to save his rival?"

"And Breakdown looked ready to join the cause, until Starscream pressured him into destroying Bulkhead." Monalisa sighed.

"Pity." Donatello agreed "Shows the effects of peer pressure."

"Do you think the Venomous Five would have done the same for us?" Leonardo asked, "If they had been in Breakdown's plight?"

"What? Joined us if we saved their sorry skins?" Raphael asked, "No shit!"

"I'm with you there hun." Monalisa said "If saving them was for the greater good, I doubt they would have joined us in gratitude."

"Yeah, their loyalty is with the Foot, and it always will be, no matter what." Donatello said "Just Like Breakdown is to the Decepticons."

Meanwhile, the Autobots walked over to Bulkhead as Breakdown, Starscream and the Vehicons fled.

"Engaging the Enemy on your own was even more foolish this time Bulkhead!" Optimus said "But, I am honoured that you saw fit to rescue your rival, you have truly risen above yourself." He said in a proud voice.

"He sure did!"

The autobots looked over to see the Hamato Clan waving at them from behind the building they were hiding behind and they ran over.

"Whoa! Turtles! Mona!" Ironhide exclaimed as he knelt to them, and he saw they had two Mech Soldiers in tow.

"What in Tarnation? Who you got there?" he asked.

"A couple of guests Fowler would love to meet!" Monalisa said "We caught them before they escaped with Silas!"

Ironhide raised an eyebrow ridge, but he smirked with pride.

"Nice going there!" he said then turned to the others, yet Bulkhead seemed too excited about his battle with Breakdown and Mech to realise what was going on.

"Did you see?" Bulkhead cheered "I beat Breakdown and bashed him! All with his own Hammer! I won the rematch!"

Arcee chuckled.

"I'm sure Pandora will be proud!" she said.

"Oh, she will be!" Michelangelo piped up "I videoed it on my phone!"

"You did?" Bulkhead asked "Sweet! Thanks Mike!"

"No problem!" Michelangelo winked.

"We better get back to base." Leonardo suggested "Both before Mech and the Decepticons come back and deliver our guests to Agent Fowler."

"A Wise choice Leonardo." Optmus agreed "Autobots, return to base!" and he transformed into his truck form, the others following and Ratchet commed the base to open a ground-bridge.

Meanwhile Breakdown managed to get away from the abandoned city and was on a clear stretch of road, yet he soon saw a dark shape before him and he stopped, doing a skid on the road before he realised what was hovering before him.

"Starscream..." he thought, and he stood still in his vehicle form and looked up at the jet.

"One day you will repay your debt to me Breakdown." Starscream's voice was heard "The Day it comes to choose sides!"

Breakdown transformed into his bipedal form and looked up at the hovering jet.

'Between bots and cons?" he asked.

"Between myself and Megatron!" Starscream answered to which Breakdown looked shocked.

"Incidentally." Starscream went on "I suggest that Megatron never know of this rescue, you do want him to think you overcame the puny humans on your own, don't you?"

He then flew off into the night leaving Breakdown standing there contemplating his thoughts on what had taken place that night.

Breakdown and Bulkhead escaped, and Starcream made his apperance to assist Breakdown as well as blackmail him into not saying a word to Megatron.

Also The Hamato Clan managed to grab a couple of Hostages to bring back to Agent Fowler to be interrogated about Mech.
