Max stood up and walked out the shed's door into the ongoing rain storm. This new Beyblade arena wasn't that far from Max's home, at least an 8 minute walk at most. So Max calmly walked onward to the arena, while enjoying the pitter-patter sounds of the rain drops hitting his jacket hood. Within 6 minutes of his walk, a large rectangular- shaped red and brown bricked building came into view. The building was surrounded by trees on all four sides. Max looked closer and noticed five rows of windows from the bottom to top on the sides of the building. "This is a nice building", Max thought. As Max got closer, he noticed neatly paved sidewalks leading to the entrance, a few bushes and shrubs, and some nicely cut grass. "HEY!! Finally you made!", a voice yelled.

Max looked towards the entrance of the building--two glass double doors, framed in silver aluminum with matching door handles and noticed two boys nearby. The two boys started approaching him. The first boy was the same height as Max, he had a dark-skin complexion similar to him and deep-brown eyes, along with short jet-black hair that curled similarly to Max's hair as well. He wore a bright red jacket with a black t-shirt underneath, a red cap, khaki pants and black converse shoes. This boy was named Jarren Alexander, one of Max's friends that he met at his new school. The other boy was also the same height as the other two but he had a much lighter--slightly pale complexion. He had medium- length wavy golden blonde hair and icy- blue eyes. This boy was dressed in a yellow puffer vest with a long sleeve white shirt underneath, blue jeans and all white converse shoes under a bright yellow umbrella to stave off the rain. This was the other friend that Max made at his school, this boy's name was Austin Corner.

"Finally you got here!", both boys yelled, now directly in front of Max. "Sheesh, cut me a break guys! My dad wanted to give me a gift first", replied Max. "Ooh yeah!"~Happy birthday to you!~ the boys said in singsong voices. "Thanks", Max said with a slight laugh. "So gentleman, what do ya say we head inside", boomed Austin with a macho man-like tone. "Let's", Jarren replied, bursting out laughing. The three hurried inside the building, cracking jokes at one another as there entered. Jarren was the first to enter, followed by Max and Austin. Inside, there was a medium-sized office area with simple eggshell colored walls with a large receptionist desk directly in the middle of the office. There was a huge crowd in front of the desk--kids, reporters, photographers and more. "What's all this? What's going on??", Austin queried. "I couldn't tell you", Max replied. Then a stern voice boomed, "can everyone please quiet down?" In front of the bustling crowd stood a short, hefty statured elderly man. This man wore a solid black suit with a white dress shirt and red tie underneath, black dress shoes and a matching black fedora hat that had a white band around it. People knew this man as Mr. David Henry. "Mr. Henry!" "What will everyone gain from this Beyblading arena!", someone yelled. "Well, to start everyone that comes here will have a grand time." We have 10 each Beystadiums on the first 5 floors-- this floor as well as the others for all to use", the elderly man replied. "Then of course we have a gym on the second floor and finally for any Beyblade tournaments held at this arena--the W. Bickett Arena, we have a state of the art Beyblade arena on the basement level here. "Speaking of Beyblade tournaments, 5 months from now on June 5th there will be a tournament held here. All Beybattles will be 1 vs 1." Max, Jarren and Austin looked at each other shocked. "A Beyblade tournament?!", all three yelled excitedly. "Are you dudes gonna enter?", Austin asked. "Because I am!" "Of course! I'm looking forward to it!", Max yelled. "Same!", yelled Jarren. "Beybladers will have from May 12th up until May 20th to sign up to participate in this tournament. More information will be released to the public next week", Mr. Henry explained.

"Well boys, I'm going to call it a day. Let's meet here and explore the rest of the arena tomorrow after school", Austin said. "Alright", Jarren and Max said in unison. So the three boys exited W. Bickett Arena and went their separate ways.
