Fast forward to the next day--Friday March, 1st. The three met up again at W. Beckett Arena. Today was yet another rainy day. "Let's go inside boys and see the rest of the arena", Max said. Max, Austin and Jarren entered the building and walked to the receptionist desk. There they saw three busy receptionists, two women and one man. They approached one of the women and saw a black tag pinned to her clothes that read 'Tina'. Tina was a fair-skinned lady with straight long orangish-red hair. "Hello Ms. Tina, could you direct us to the Beystadiums please?" Max asked. "Sure sir, go right through this entryway here to access all the stadium on the first floor", Tina said, pointing to a wide entryway directly behind her. "Now to get to the other floors, there'll be an elevator in the far left corner of on this floor. Also no one can access the basement level, that Beystadium is for tournaments only so no one can access that level unless they have an escort that has a special elevator key to take them down to that level", Tina explained. "Ok thank you ma'am", Jarren said and the three made a beeline to the first floor Beystadiums. In this room, the layout was similar to a school's gymnasium. It had wooden planked flooring, along with a sea of white bleachers on both sides of the room. All the walls were a crimson color and true to Tina's word there was an elevator all the way in the back to the far left of the room. People were all over the place. On the bleachers or near all the Beystadiums watching the beybattles.
As Mr. Henry said, there were ten Beystadiums. The Beystadiums were really deep, almost like a crater and made of some type of ceramic-like material that had a blood ruby color to it. "Well boys I'm going to get in on this action!", Austin yelled. He walked around and found an unoccupied Beystadiums. "Hey! I need an opponent!", boomed Austin. "I'll take you on!", a voice yelled. On the other side of the Beystadium was a kid about 2 years younger than Austin that stepped forward. "I'm Carlos", the boy said. Carlos was a short kid with brown eyes, dark brown hair and a slight tan complexion dress in a green shirt with khaki shorts and black shoes. "I'm Austin, ready to battle?", Austin asked, pulling a Beyblade, black launcher and blue ripcord from the pockets on his yellow vest. Austin's Beyblade was yellow and had a Bit-Chip that had a yellow dolphin on it. "Sure am", replied Carlos, grabbing a launcher, ripcord and tan Beyblade from his shorts' pockets. 3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!! Austin and Carlos launched both their Beyblades into the Beystadium. Austin's Beyblade moved into the center of the Beystadium while Carlos' Beyblade circled the stadium. "Hey man what the heck! You wanted to battle and you're just gonna stand in one place?", Carlos alleged with a pouty look on his face. Suddenly a streak of yellow darted straight at Carlos' Beyblade and sent it flying right out the Beystadium. "WHAT?! What happened?!", Carlos yelled. "Sorry, I tried to hold back", Austin sheepishly explained. "Austin's good, real good!", Max claimed. "I know, if only he would take his training seriously", laughed Jarren. "Wow did you see that!" "That guy's strong!" "I want to fight him next!" Austin's Beybattle caught the attention of three people nearby. "I'll take all of you on!", he yelled. Within minutes, Austin had beaten three more people. "That guy is a beast!", someone exclaimed. "Anyone else want to battle?", Austin questioned. "I do", someone said. A boy slightly taller than Max, Austin and Jarren stepped forward. This boy had a slightly tanned complexion with brown hair and dark green eyes. He wore a purple oversized jacket with black jersey shorts and black converse shoes. "You!", yelled Jarren. "Who's that?", Max asked, "I've seen him around the school here and there." "That's Cameron, he's notorious for battling people, beating them and either stealing their Beyblade parts or destroying their Beyblades completely. "Let's do this", Cameron said, taking a purple Beyblade that had a wolf on the Bit-Chip along with a purple launcher and a white ripcord. 3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!! Austin's Beyblade took the same stance as usual, in the center of the Beystadium while Cameron's circled around and back again. Suddenly Cameron's Beyblade thrusted itself at Austin's, breaking its stance. "Ok, time to get serious", Austin said. "Strike it back now!" The yellow Beyblade lunged at Cameron's, delivering a smashing blow. Both Beyblades kept delivering blow after blow to knock the out the Beystadium to no avail. "Time to turn it up a notch!", Austin yelled. "I couldn't agree more", replied Cameron. "Come on out, Umi", Austin yelled. "Show yourself, Urvi!", boomed Cameron. Suddenly Austin's Beyblade gleamed with bright yellow light and a giant yellow dolphin appeared, floating over his Beyblade. Cameron's Beyblade did the same but piercing purple light oozed from his Beyblade and a giant purple wolf appeared floating over it. "Bit-Beasts???", Max questioned "They are. Is this your first time seeing them?", Jarren asked. "In person it is, I learned a bit about them yesterday and that also was the gift that my dad got me for my birthday yesterday", Max explained.
"Really?", Jarren asked, staring at Max in shock. "Yep, I've got to train to master its power", Max said. "Umi let's end this! Water Vortex Spout!", Austin screamed. Austin's Beyblade began to spin quickly, generating a water-like tornado around it. "GO NOW!", yelled Austin. Umi rushed towards Urvi but before the gushing waters made contact with Urvi, Cameron yelled out. "I don't think so! Urvi, Earth Heavens Piercing now!" Suddenly there was a slight tremor, everyone nearby felt it. Then sharp pointed spikes of earth jutted out of the Beystadium. Most of these spikes hit Umi, ending the water spout and instantly knocking it right out of the stadium. "No!", yelled Austin. "Ha! Serves you right, you overconfident fool!," boomed Cameron, calling his Beyblade back to his hand and walking away. "I was sure I was gonna get him", Austin explained, "Next time I'll get you Cameron, just watch."
