Harry Potter the Padawan Wizard

Chapter 1

So, my last attempt at a crossover of these two franchise went very poorly, I tried to do too much, nobody liked what I was going for. It was just a crap show. So this time, I'm just doing something more simple this time around. Just Harry being taken in by the Jedi. So without further explanation... Let's kick it up!

Late one night on a small planet in the hidden regions, known as Earth, in a small suburb walked an elderly man with a long white beard. As the old man walked, he took notice of a cat moving towards him.

"Professor McGonagal." The man greeted before the cat's form shifted in to that of a woman in a green outfit and a pointed hat.

"Are all the rumors true, Albus?" The woman asked as she approached the man, Albus Dumbledore.

"I'm afraid they are, Minerva. The good along with the bad." Dumbledore said with a saddened look on his face.

"And what of the boy? Where is he?" Minerva asked.

"Hagrid is on his way were right now." Dumbledore said before as if on cue, the two looked up to see a light moving towards them, the source of which was revealed a motorcycle that had flown down two professors before a large scruffy man stepped off carrying an infant boy with a lighting shaped scar over his left eye.

"Evening, Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall." The man greeted the two as Professor McGonagall approached to check on the baby. "The little tyke conked right out right on takeoff. Guess he like's the sky." Hagrid said with a smile before he handed the baby to McGonagall and the three began to walk towards a certain house.

"Do you really believe this wise, Albus. I have watched these people all day, they are the worst sort of people I have ever seen, muggle or otherwise." Professor McGonagall protested as they approached the front door.

"There is little choice, Minerva. They are the only family he has left." Dumbledore explained.

"Perhaps, another way there is." The three heard before turning to see a small green creature holding a cane and wearing brown robes.

"Master Yoda." Dumbledore said in familiarity with the minuscule green man.

"Young Albus." Yoda greeted back with a smile as he began to approach. "Too long at his been. For my lack of communication, my apologies you have." He said.

"I understand. We both have our responsibilities." Dumbledore said, before noticing the confused looks of his companions. "This Yoda. The leader of an order of powerful beings and a friend of... someone I once cared for." He explained.

'So, after all this time, the scar still remains.' Yoda thought noting the forlorn look on Dumbledore's face.

"So, am I to assume that you since the boy has the same potential that she did?" Dumbledore asked.

"A much greater one in fact." Yoda corrected. "But more than that there is and sense it as well, I suspect you do." He said giving a knowing look to Dumbledore who nodded in conformation.

"Yes there is. Is it possible for the Jedi to aid the boy?" Dumbledore asked.

"Methods there are. To help the child we should be capable." Yoda confirmed.

"And what about his safety in other regards?" McGonagall asked in concern for the baby still in Hagrid's arms.

"Large the temple is. Thousands of Jedi there are. Protected and cared for the child shall be and when come the time does, to this planet, he will return, to learn the ways of his birth." Yoda offered, Dumbledore and McGonagall looking to each other and shared a wordless discussion.

"Your offer seems to be the best option for the boy. Hidden, but with his skilled being fostered." McGonagall said, adding her consent to the discussion.

"Then it is decided. We shall send him to the Jedi Temple." Dumbledore said, a soft smile and nod coming from Yoda in response.

"Very well." Yoda said before he raised his hand and caused what appeared a floating metal baby bed to approach them and McGonagall tenderly placed the baby inside it, Dumbledore noticing a look on Hagrid's face as she did.

"Do not be sad, Hagrid. This is not goodbye. We shall meet again."Dumbledore said before looking down at the boy and saying "May the Force be with you, Harry Potter."

(Years later)

In a far off galaxy on the planet Coruscant a now eleven year old Harry awoke in a room that while sparsely decorated, was quite comfortable for the boy. Harry then stood and preformed several stretches before he raised his over to a nearby door which opened to reveal several identical sets of brown robes with white trim as well as several sets of civilian clothes.

After putting on one of the sets of robes along with a leather belt and pair of leather boots, Harry walked over to his night stand where he picked up what appeared a copper sword hilt with hard black rubber covering the middle which was kept in place by a small bolt in either of the two arch designs in the front top and bottom back, black and white cracked material within the diamond pattern, and small asymmetrical rectangular pronged points with curved edges the same material as under the cloth at the end and clipped one of the black circled points just below the prongs to his belt.

All set for the day, Harry left his room and made his way to one of the meditation areas of the Jedi temple where he was met by the back of an elderly thisspiasian man with a curved hilt with a hand guard on his hip.

"Hello, my young Padawan." The thisspiasian, Jedi master Oppo Rancisis greeted without turning or even opening his eyes.

"Good morning, Master. I hope you were not waiting long." Harry said with a respectful bow to his mentor.

"To the contrary, Harry. I had just finished my morning meditation upon your arrival." The Jedi master responded as he uncurled the snake like tail typical of his species and turned to his apprentice. "Now to begin today's training. Follow me." Oppo instructed before he began slithering with Harry keeping a steady pace behind him.

Soon enough, Harry and his master arrived in a large white room and were met by two humans, one a bearded man with brown hair in lighter brown robes carrying a sword hilt with an almost mace like pommel and the the other a boy around Harry's age wearing nearly black robes carrying a very utilitarian and simple back and silver hilt

"Of coarse, you'd be the first to arrive." Harry said to the other Padawan, Anakin Skywalker. Anakin was older than most when brought in to the Jedi Temple by his master, Obi Wan Kenobi. This distanced him from most others his age. Harry took notice of this and opened up to Anakin, making him sort of an honorary member of his youngling clan as they had all become Padawans at that time too.

"You know Anakin, always the first to arrive when it comes physical training." Obi Wan said with a smile, putting special emphasis on the word 'physical' and gaining a slight chucled from Oppo for it.

"Now then, Padawans, your lightsabers." Oppo instructed before Harry and Anakin both uncliped the hilts from their belts and handed them to their respective masters.

"Your task is simple. Reach the other side of the room while avoiding the obstacles that arise to meet you and you must do so guided only by the Force." Obi Wan said before the lights in the room shut off and Harry and Anakin prepared to move.

"Begin." Oppo said before both Harry and Anakin began running. As the two young Jedi moved in the pitch black, the square which made up the room began to move and sift in seemingly random patterns creating obstacles which the two had to make their ways over, under, and around with split second reaction time. A task which the two proved to be quite up to. The lack of sight making little distance for the two of them. Suddenly, something caught Harry's notice caught Harry's attention and he placed his hand out to make a slight pules come forth pushing Anakin's head forward a little in order to avoid the other Jedi getting hit in the head. Moments later, the two of them made it to the other side of the room before the lights came back on and the rooms tiles returned to normal.

"Thanks. Can't believe I didn't notice that." Anakin said in self admonishment.

"It could have happened to anybody." Harry said with a shrug as Oppo and Obi Wan approached to return the padawans their lightsabers.

"Correct young Potter is." The four Jedi heard before looking to see Yoda at the entrance to the room and bowed in respect to the grand master. "Errors we all will make. Training you do to make sure to make less."

"I guess you're right." Anakin noted in acceptance of Yoda wisdom.

"Now for why here I am. Something for young Harry from his home world has arrived." Yoda explained, much to the confusion of Harry. "Come with me. Much to explain there is." He said, gaining a nod from Harry as he and Oppo followed the grand master to one of the meditation rooms.

"So, what is this about my home world all of a sudden, Master Yoda? I don't even know where it is." Harry asked before being signaled to sit.

"The first thing you must know is that your home world is that is in a galaxy outside our own." Oppo explained to the surprise of his Padawan.

"Hidden to us your home was, until one day a girl I men. Many Force the wielders the Earth has. But stood apart the girl and her family did. My Padawan she became for a time." Yoda explained.

"Wait. If there are so many Force wielders on Earth, why are more Jedi not from there?" Harry asked, Yoda not surprised at the question.

"Primitive your home world is. Know of life outside of their own, few do. Even wielders of the Force known are not. Fewer know the Force it is they draw power from." Yoda explained to the young Padawan before going on to answer the next question that was surely on Harry's mind. "However, a primitive world, just as dangerous as the most advanced may be. Prime for the dark side to rise a world such as that is." He said. Suddenly, a flash of a figure in a black cloak and the sounds of a woman screaming his name flashed through Harry's mind.

"With the return of the Sith, we can not take the risk of any followers of the Dark side to gather together." Oppo said, gaining a nod from Harry.

"I understand, Master. Our mission is to go to Earth and search for these Dark side wielders." Harry said, both masters shaking their heads.

"No, Harry. You're task is alone. You are to go to one of these teaching facilities of the Force users of Earth. Their enemy is likely to arrive there and in the mean time, you will have yet another source of wisdom to learn from." Oppo said with a hand on Harry's shoulder.

"Masters. I thank for this opportunity." Harry said with a bow to both masters.

"Preparations being made are. Prepare your effects." Yoda instructed before Harry was dismissed and left the room.

A short while later Harry was walking next to Anakin on the way back to his room.

"I cannot believe you're getting a long term solo mission." Anakin sated with a hint of jealousy as the two of them entered his room.

"I'm going to a school. It's not like I'm gonna be toppling a spice ring on Nar Shaddaa." Harry noted with a laugh as he walked over to a small device and placed it on his wrist, pressing a few buttons to activate a small silver and green octagonal droid with a green glowing lenses serving as its eye and four legs coming from its bottom side as it floated up. "And if by some off chance things go south, I've been told call you and Master Kenobi. Plus I'll have Ids to back me up." He said while lightly patting his ID-5 unit.

"Alright. But seriously. Don't hesitate." Anakin insisted, giving his best friend a hand clasp.

A short while later, Harry was in the north hanger bay at the ramp of a modified blue and silver Skyspirit Courier that named the Lightseeker along with Anakin, Obi Wan, Oppo, and two mirailans in black gowns.

"It's a shame Bultar, Lissarkh, and Nahdar are all off world and can't see you off." One of the mirailans who was the same age as Harry and Anakin noted.

"That's just how it goes, Barriss. I'll be sure to contact them soon enough." Harry said before being approached by Oppo.

"Remember to contact me for regular reports and training." Oppo said, gaining a nod and bow from his Padawan.

"Yes, master." Harry replied before looking to the other Jedi there with him and giving them each the traditional farewell of wishing the Force be with them before entering the Lightseeker and taking off. Once clear of Coruscant, Harry punched a few keys in to the nav computer before the Lightseeker jumped in to hyperspace and in to the beginning of a new journey.

Well, there you go, guys. I really hope you enjoyed this opening. I put a fair bit of effort in to it and would really like it to go well. Next time, Harry arrives on Earth and learns of his old foe and new place of learning. Until then and as always... keep on keeping on.
