Chapter 1*

Lucius watched as Emmy carefully helped Adam with his toys, her gentle guidance showing she was already a wonderful big sister. A bittersweet feeling rose in his chest as he realized how quickly they were growing up. He turned to Rodolphus, who was standing beside him, resting a hand on his stomach.

"You've been feeling off lately," Lucius said softly, placing his hand over Rodolphus's. "Are you…?"

Rodolphus nodded with a small smile. "I think I might be. It's too early to tell, but I have a feeling."

Lucius's eyes filled with emotion, a mixture of joy and worry. "Another baby…" he murmured, gently rubbing Rodolphus's stomach. "I'm so happy, Rod. I just want to keep you all safe."

Rodolphus leaned into Lucius's touch, feeling a wave of love and reassurance. "We'll be alright, Luc. We always are," he said, his voice tender.

Lucius took a deep breath, leaning his head against Rodolphus's. "They're growing up so fast. I just wish time would slow down," he said, his voice thick with emotion.

Rodolphus hugged him tightly. "They're still our babies, and we have another on the way. We'll make the most of every moment," he whispered, kissing Lucius's temple.

Lucius nodded, feeling a little more at ease. "Harden and Abraxas are hosting a party today," he said, changing the topic gently. "They're inviting everyone—the Lestranges, Malfoys, even Tom and the Death Eaters."

Rodolphus raised an eyebrow. "An open event? With Tom and the Death Eaters?" he asked, his tone serious.

Lucius sighed. "It's a show of unity, apparently. Let's get ready, love."

After getting the children dressed in their best clothes, the family flooed to Malfoy Manor. Upon arrival, they were warmly greeted by Abraxas and Harden. Emmy and Adam quickly ran to their grandfathers, leaving Lucius and Rodolphus to navigate the crowded hall.

Lucius's contentment faded as he noticed an unfamiliar group in the corner, their eyes following Emmy. He felt a chill run down his spine, and his hand instinctively tightened around Rodolphus's.

"What's wrong?" Rodolphus asked, noticing Lucius's tension.

Lucius pointed subtly towards the group. "The one in the center… He's Emmy's father," he whispered, his voice trembling with anger. "He's not supposed to be here."

Rodolphus's eyes darkened, his protective instincts flaring. "Stay with the kids," he said, his voice hard. "I'll handle this."

As Rodolphus approached, the man smirked. "Well, if it isn't the happy family," he taunted. "How's my daughter?"

Rodolphus clenched his fists, struggling to keep his composure. "She's not yours," he hissed. "You gave up that right long ago. Stay away from her."

The man laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "I don't think so," he said, stepping forward. "I'm her father. I have rights."

Before Rodolphus could respond, Tom Riddle appeared at his side, his presence radiating authority. "Is there a problem here?" Tom asked, his voice dangerously calm.

The man hesitated, sensing the threat. "I'm just here to see my daughter," he said defensively.

Tom's eyes narrowed. "Your presence is neither wanted nor needed. Leave now, or I'll have the Death Eaters escort you out," he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.

The man glared at Tom but took a step back, his bravado fading. "This isn't over," he muttered, turning to leave.

Tom watched him go, then turned to Rodolphus and Lucius, his expression softening. "Are you two alright?" he asked.

Lucius nodded, still holding Emmy close. "Thank you, Tom," he said, his voice shaky.

Tom placed a hand on Lucius's shoulder. "No one will harm my family," he said firmly. "Not while I'm around."

Rodolphus sighed in relief, pulling Lucius into a comforting embrace. "Let's go home," he said softly. "We've had enough excitement for one day."

Lucius nodded, feeling the weight of the day's events. They turned to Harden and Abraxas, who stood nearby, their expressions a mix of concern and anger.

"Thank you for hosting, fathers," Lucius said, his voice still shaky. "We'll see you soon."

Harden nodded, his eyes flashing with anger. "Take care of each other," he said, his voice firm. "We'll handle things here."

Abraxas placed a reassuring hand on Lucius's shoulder. "We've got this," he said. "Just focus on your family."

As they made their way back to Lestrange Manor, Lucius felt a sense of gratitude for his fathers' support and the family they had built together. Whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together
