a question about your review answers: if you plan naruto only have insignificant baby role in this entire story, why put his character tag in the description since he will barely appear.
also what will be naruto bloodline skills and talent in the sequel, since he doesn't have kyuubi.
Answer:
naruto will have a lot more role in the story after all he can't be a baby forever. I also could not put down other Starfleet characters as a tag so yeah.
Second off I thought I made it very clear in the first and second chapters that Naruto has one half of Kyuubi Chakra and his mother has the other half. As for bloodlines and skills haven't really decided yet but he's definitely going to be skilled in Fūinjutsu.

At first I was totally ready to have her tear up the medical Bay. but then the crew would have trusted her less and she would have a harder time. So in short it was just too much extra work in the long run.
Yeah, but I get Personally annoyed when somebody does that since I got to go back to reviews and find that comment so I know what the guys talking about. Plus I'm already used to this format so, yeah.

It was interesting to see how the Uzumaki have apparently already had contact with Starfleet, but we still have to find out how the Uzumaki of Starfleet are related to Kushina.

Chapter 3: Red Hair And Ramen
Oh, Kami, Kushina hated hospitals, and she had to stay in there for another day or 2 because of cellular damage. Normally she would have just escaped and gone to explore the station (because fuck hospitals). But since Kimiko practically demanded for her to stay, since she could not heal the damage alone. Kushina knew her skill in the Healing Arts was only matched by Tsunade in healing, So normally healing such wounds would have been no problem for Kimiko. But since her chakra was split into yin and yang, with the majority of her yang chakra being sealed into Naruto and the yin sealed inside of Kushina. Because of this, her chakra was in a state of imbalance, and using Medical jutsus was nearly impossible for her to do. All she really could do at the moment was supply and direct Kushina's Uzumaki healing Factor with her chakra. Kushina knew Kimiko would eventually regain enough of her yang chakra to perform healing Jutsus again. But that would take months for that to happen.
So with reluctance, she stayed as Kimiko went out to explore the station in her Stead. Which was annoying but understandable, especially since they needed more information about the people who had her and her son under their care. They needed to find out if staying here would be a lot safer than going back. Especially since the only Hiraishin markers that she can transport to were in the house where she was stabbed, and in the Hokage office. Going back to the house which is obviously going to be watched, was a no-go, and transporting into the Hokage office was also a Gamble, especially if Danzo found a way to take over. But there was a possibility that the old monkey Hiruzen retook the Hat. God this was a conundrum if she ever heard of one. She guessed she would have to get the scoop from the other Uzumaki's that she was meeting today.
Apparently, the other Uzumaki's were citizens of what is called the United Federation of Planets. What she could gather about this Federation was, that it was this giant Alliance that had over a hundred different worlds under its Banner. She also found out that this Starfleet was the military branch of the Federation with the sole purpose of exploring, making peaceful contact with other species, and protecting the Federation's borders and its citizens. She had to admit that living in this Federation sounded more appealing than taking the risk of transporting back with the possibility of landing straight into Danzo's arms. Then again this could be a trick in hopes of tying them down to this federation.
Before she made any decisions though, she needed to talk to the other Uzumaki's and get their perspective. If they were true Uzumaki's, Kushina knew that she could trust them. Because a true Uzumaki code of ethics and their word was worth their weight in gold. Then again these people could just have the blood of the Uzumaki's and the name but not truly be true Uzumaki's. But there were tests that she could do that could guarantee that she was definitely talking to a true Uzumaki, no matter how a distant relative they may be. It was for that reason that she was working on a Fūinjutsu formula While she was sitting on the hospital bed waiting for her fellow Uzumaki's to get here.
This was the site that Kimiko was privy to as she walked into the med Bay, cocking an eyebrow she walked over to Kushina And sat down right next to her. Kushina was either too absorbed in her work to notice her or she did but chose to ignore her, Either one of those options was possible but Kimiko didn't really care. So scooting closer she looked over what Kushina was doing and what she saw only made her giggle. Of course, Kushina will use that as a test and if what she's seeing is true it would definitely be a good one. But Kimiko could not help but think that she was doing it because of her need for-.
Her thoughts were cut off by the door of the Med Bay opening as people entered. It was quite obvious from how they looked that they were undoubtedly Uzumaki's. There were two women and a child that one of the older women was holding. One of the women (who looked to be the mother) had long red hair and violet eyes. She was also wearing what Kimiko had learned was the Star Fleet uniform. It was Gold which indicated that she was part of the Operations or Engineering branch of Star Fleet. The other girl practically looked like a mini Kushina. She was wearing civilian clothes Which meant that she was not part of Starfleet. If Kimiko had to guess she was around the age of 19 to 18. The small child that the older woman was holding looked to be around a year old, perhaps less.
Kimiko instantly Could tell that they were from the main branch due to their chakra. It was quite easy for her to Identify their chakra, especially when she could tell it was as potent as an average Uzumaki's chakra from the main branch. It was also quite obvious that their chakra was not unlocked. Perhaps something that Kushina or herself could teach them, but That's if they pass Kushina's test of course. Speaking of Kushina's test, it was almost layed forgotten since Kushina was quite excited to see another Uzumaki. But a quick mental reminder to her partner allowed Kushina to regain her composure so she could activate the seal.
Once she did a puff of smoke emanated from the scroll where the seal was on. As it started to clear a Heavenly Sent had reached the nose of every single Uzumaki in the room. The scent alone made the other Uzumaki's visibly drool as a single bowl of ramen appeared on top of the scroll. Which Kushina immediately started to scarf down causing the other Uzumaki's to finally get their heads on straight. And the second that they did They started to ask themselves, where the hell that bowl of ramen came from, and how can they get one.
Seeing the looks on their face's Kimiko touched the scroll and pumped her own chakra into it. Causing two more bowls of ramen to appear And with a gesture the group of Uzumaki started enjoying their own bowl. It was through the seventh Bowl of ramen that Kimiko and Kushina were convinced that these were indeed True Uzumakis. Because the seal that they used converted the chakra that was put into it into solid matter. Thanks to Kimiko's Unique chakra that was used in the creation of the ramen she was able to see if the Uzumaki that were eating the ramen were trustworthy. After all, sensing emotions, feelings, and alignment was quite easy for her, even more so if it was in their system. Also, no Uzumaki could deny Ramen, So it acts as a second test as well as good bait. When the topic of what their life was like in the Federation and what they did for a living came up. They were all too happy to explain, and plans started to form as they did.
An Hour Later Commander Holtz's Office.
Commander Holtz was going over the report that the tow ship sent to him after making contact with the Klingon vessel IKS veS targh (targ of war). According to Starfleet Intel, the IKS veS targh was a Vor'cha Class, an experimental attack cruiser, and this was one of their prototypes. It was on its Shakedown test when one of the Klingon engineers accidentally ended up creating an explosion in the EPS conduits after installing one of the EPS distributors incorrectly. Because the distributor was installed incorrectly there was an overload which ended up damaging most of the EPS grid and damaging one of the ship's warp coils. According to the captain, the ship was performing excellently until the incident. Even after the accident, the chancellor had decided to already start production on these ships. If Starfleet Command Was right the first ships would be relegated to chancellors and Generals
Due to the ship being a prototype, Starfleet had agreed that the Crew would be the only ones repairing the ship. Starfleet will only be providing the materials and tools for them to do so. Which, kind of annoyed Holtz a bit. The last thing he wanted was some of the more sensitive equipment on the station being used by people who probably don't even know how to. Perhaps-, his thoughts were cut off by the ringing of the call button on his office door. Giving permission for the person to enter Holtz was surprised at who stepped through the door. It was Lieutenant Maia Uzumaki As well as Kimiko. Holtz wasn't expecting the 2 to show up, but he could easily guess why they did.
"Ah, I sense that you already know why I'm here. Good, good, that makes things easier." Kimiko said as she sat down after Lieutenant Uzumaki pulled the chair out for her. Holtz looked at the two confused which Kimiko sensed. Deciding to explain she spoke up again.
"My chakra was split in half, my physical energy along with a little bit of my spiritual was sealed inside little Naruto. My spiritual energy with a little bit of my physical was sealed inside Kushina. Because I had very little of my physical energy left I'm more or less a Genjutsu, an illusion. If I focus hard enough I can push buttons or give you a handshake. But moving chairs or objects out of my way is currently out of my reach. I should be able to regenerate enough of my physical half within a month. Then I will be able to properly move things and interact with the world like any normal person could." Kimiko said which Holtz only gave her a confused look. All he got out of all that was that she was an illusion. Kimiko noticed this as she rubbed her brow.
"Okay, I don't have time to explain chakra Theory, I'm here to see if Kushina and I could join Starfleet." Kimiko said with a serious tone. Holtz only sighs at this though.
"You might not understand the difficulty of joining Star Fleet. You will need to pass the entrance exam which is extremely difficult. Then you will need to spend three years at Starfleet Academy. Even if you get through the entrance exam, Do you not think that the two of you are a little too old to be going through school again? especially since it's probably going to take you a couple of years to learn the information that you need to pass the exam." Holtz said with a tired Sigh As he got up and went to the replicator in his office and grabbed a cup of tea, But Kimiko just blinked at him though like he was dumb.
"Why would age matter especially when me and any Uzumaki have a near-infinite lifespan? Then again I can't confirm that, even though I have never seen a Uzumaki die of old age. Well except Mito but that was due to a combination of an overuse of a Jutsu as well as having me inside of her. My accelerating healing combined with her thousand healing seal created a feedback loop that Negated her Uzumaki longevity. Even when that did happen though she did live for 202 years. " Kimiko said, Holtz thanked the lucky stars that he didn't start drinking his tea because he would definitely have done a spit take at the words that came out of her mouth. Maia was not faring any better either.
"It seems by your reactions that it is not the case For the Uzumaki clan of your planet. Hmm, perhaps it's because you did not unlock your chakra. In the Uzumaki clan on our planet, every Uzumaki child would unlock their chakra, even if they weren't planning on becoming ninjas." Kimiko said as she Stroke one of her tails in thought.
"Wait are you telling me if I unlock my Chakra, I won't age?" Maia said shocked.
" I don't see why not, but since you didn't unlock your chakra when you were younger I do not know how effective it would be for you. Normally the aging process stops right after a Uzumaki reaches their Prime. Your two daughters might be able to get the full effects but I do not know about you. Since you already have reached that stage." Kimiko said still petting her tail in thought.
"Hold on, what was the oldest Uzumaki that your people have recorded." Holtz asked fascinated. If what she was saying was true. Kushina was pretty much a spring chicken being at the age of 22. Then again this could be some type of superstition or misinformation.
"That would be Elder Marco he lived around 435 years old. But was killed during the Battle of Uzushiogakure. The man was one of the strongest of all the Uzumaki's, his skill with a blade was legendary." Kimiko said quirking an eyebrow, Was this man doubting her word?
Holtz Had met species with longer lifespans than humans. So he was only a little bit surprised. 'So they do not know the extent of their lifespan due to their oldest being killed before they could die of natural causes. But still, over 400 years. If she was one of the various long-lived Species That were in the Federation. She would probably be considered too young to join the academy. Then again she was human and Kushina had already reached her prime so age didn't matter to them if Kimiko was right.' Holtz Thought fascinated at what he learned.
But He was getting off track, there was still another problem that needed to be solved. Especially if what he heard from Lieutenant K'Mori was true. When the lieutenant accidentally overheard their conversation when they were discussing this, she had reported it to him with some obvious concerns.
"Okay, age is not an issue but that leaves us with the learning curve That you'll be facing. I assume that you want to take the next test in 6 months. It will be near impossible for you to learn the needed information and not just pass the test but succeed in the academy." Holtz said rubbing his eyebrow.
"Oh, that's easy if you give us a large and private space we should be able to get the information down within 3 months." Kimiko said with a foxy grin.
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Holtz asked As he raised one of his eyebrows.
"That is a Clan secret, all I need from you is a large open space and the capability of having secure privacy. Oh, speaking of Clans secrets you should know that even if we join Starfleet. You will not be able to order us to give you our secrets." Kimiko said seriously.
"And why is that if I may ask?" Holtz asked.
"From what I know about your people you are very careful of what technology you give away. Not out of greed but out of concern. You do not want those people suffering negative consequences because they do not know how to maintain or properly use that technology. One of our highest laws in the Uzumaki Clan is designed to prevent that same thing, but with our techniques. Because our techniques are not just powerful, they are very dangerous. It's like giving a toddler a razor-sharp Katana that is meant for an adult to play with. It is why me and Kushina would rather kill ourselves than reveal that information to anyone that we have not deemed capable of learning. And unfortunately, your people have not proven that to us yet. Well except Jocelyn, Maia's daughter. She has a high capability of learning It and so we have decided to teach her." Kimiko said seriously.
Holtz had to admit, That made sense. He could understand their hesitance, a lot of species had similar laws. And even if they were part of the Federation and joined Starfleet a lot of them would not break those laws. It was why Starfleet respected planets individual laws and customs as long as they did not conflict with starfleets.
"Is there anything else you need besides a large area?" Holtz asked as he let out a long Sigh.
"A couple of things, but if it is all right with you, I would like Lieutenant Maia to get them for us. She has already given me her word that she will not Exposed Any of are clan's secrets that she learns from us." Kimiko says, Holtz agreed to that, and before they left his office he gave them access to one of the larger cargo holds on the station.
He needed to contact Starfleet and give them an update. Hopefully, the upper brass could put things in place just in case a higher-ranking officer attempted to abuse their power. It was unlikely to happen but it was still a possibility. So taking a sip of his tea he powered up his desk monitor so he could send a message to the Federation admiralty.
