The two show teens went to a round clothed table next to each other facing the audience. Harry took off his hat to do a few flip tricks on it until having it face upward on the top of the table. Even showed to everyone that it is empty first.

"Lea, would you please grab what's inside my hat with both hands?" Harry asked, securing the hat from dropping. "I'll hold it from falling down."

"Okay..." Lea said, a little curious when following Harry's instructions when she felt something round and slightly heavy. "Huh...This is interesting."

She brought out a round light blue plant pot out of the hat that made the audience gasp in surprise.

"Good, now place the pot on the table." Harry said.

Lea did exactly that; still confused but intrigued and surprised that something like a plant pot was in his hat without him feeling it on his head.

"Now, continue pulling more from the hat. You should know there is a lot more here than you realize." Harry instructed.

Soon, Lea kept grabbing more things out of the hat. A bag of dirt, a portable sun lamp, a trowel, a mini watering can, and a container of oregano.

"All right. We got our items," Harry responded, taking his hat back to put on before getting the items in order while describing what he does. "We start with putting dirt in the pot. Enough to fill up yet not too much. Then, using the trowel, create a hole that's just about a good size to place something inside. In this case, some fresh oregano leaves."

He opened the container to put some oregano inside the pot before using the trowel to bury it until the dirt was flat.

"Next, we add what all plants love: water," Harry responded, looking at his assistant. "Lea? Would you do the honors?"

"Sure," Lea said, getting the watering can to notice something. "Um, Harry? There's nothing inside. It's empty."

"Empty, you say?" Harry asked, going over to confirm what Lea said was true. "Hmmm...It would seem that we need a substitute. Lea, may I borrow your tiny hat for a quick moment?"

Although confused, Lea gently took the tiny hat off her head and gave it to Harry where he held it upside down with the empty hole facing him. Wiggling his right-hand fingers, Harry put it inside the hat for a few seconds until taking out a unique teacup. Unlike the ones the Rabbit Café had, this white cup had gold on the edges, bottom and handle. Along with small red heart prints on the top, big black clubs in the middle, and small red diamonds on the bottom. There was also some kind of liquid inside.

Harry took a small sip from it to check before speaking to the audience. "Jabberwocky herb tea...Yes, that will do," he said, now dumping the tea in the pot before giving the hat back to Lea. "Thank you."

'I wonder what Harry is doing?' Lea thought to herself.

The audience was confused, though they did not murmur this time.

"And finally, we give our little friend some sunlight," Harry responded, turning on the lamp directly at the potted plant. "All that remains is to wait for the results."

There was absolute silence. Lea and the audience stared at the pot, as the lamp shines its light upon the dirt. And from the soil, the plant was growing fast where it molded itself into some form of baby dragon. The plant finished its growth as it was indeed a dragon shaped plant. And, to everyone's surprise...it yawned and opened its eyes. It was alive!

Lea gasped in surprise.

"Behold, the Oregano Dragon!" Harry confirmed, as the little plant dragon looked at the audience. "And judging by the colors, I'd say it's a boy."

The Oregano Dragon stared what was in front of him until turning to Lea and Harry in wonder. So much that he carefully got out of his pot and stretched to reveal his wide wings. Much to everyone's surprise.

"Oh, my stars, this is for real," Lea stated, not believing this yet couldn't help but think the little dragon was cute. "Did we really...?"

"That's right. This Oregano Dragon was brought to life." Harry said, as he holds the Oregano Dragon in his hands.

"He created life," A member of the audience said.

"A true work of the master!" Another member of the audience added.

The audience cheered, and Lea looks closely and sees Hal in the background cheering for her and Harry.

"He did come," Lea muttered, giving a gentle wave to her uncle while smiling happily.

"I guess I was worried for nothing after all." Hal said to himself.

"Thank you, everyone. You've been a wonderful audience tonight," Harry said, as he takes a bow. "And give it up for my assistant, Lea!"

The audience cheered loudly for Lea. And Lea was so happy that she took a gentle bashful bow.

"And a big round of applause to the people who work at the Rabbit Café," Harry said, gesturing to the staff. "They are the real ones for making this place happen."

The manager, Kimmy and the rest of the staff of the Rabbit Café felt great joy as the audience cheered for them.

"Now I feel truly honored," Kimmy said as she bowed. The rest of the staff then followed her and bowed too.

"Tonight, we made tremendous progress with the show yet I know that we can continue doing making a difference," Harry reasoned, holding the herb dragon in his arms. "For those who just arrived and weren't around the beginning, this place is in trouble of closing. The Rabbit Café deserves to stay because it brings the good and child-like imagination in all of us over the years. It has meaning to others. So, with your support, please spread the word to help them out."

"Will do!" A member of the audience said as the rest murmur with agreement.

After Lea returned to her seat while going off stage, her show outfit disappeared and her regular clothes returned like nothing.

Lea then ran towards Hal, who was cheering for her. "You were awesome up there in that stage, Lea." He commented. "Sorry I was late. That meeting took forever."

"It's okay, I'm just so glad you came, Hal," Lea said, hugging her uncle. "It has been a very hard and long week plus day for me. But this show has turned everything around. I can't believe I was on stage without being petrified! And it was so much fun!"

"Yeah, no stage fright? You were amazing out there," Hal said. "And that dress was so great, I wish your uncle was here so he could draw it before it disappeared."

"Yeah. Everything happened so fast. I wish I could see it again besides a few seconds from the mirror," Lea stated. "Sorry."

"It's okay. Besides, my ring is like a camera. Later on, I'll show you. I don't know how that kid did it, but he knows his stuff." Hal said. "Ya know, I met him at the airfield earlier today."

"You did? How was he to you?" Lea asked, a little curious.

"Well, I had my suspicions when he gave me a weird look after asking about his plane being part of the show. But after today? All those doubts are gone now." Hal added. "Anyways I'm proud of you."

"Thanks. Maybe we can chat with him backstage to say thanks for not just a great performance tonight but also for helping to promote the Rabbit Café," Lea suggested, rubbing her neck sheepishly.

"Only if you're okay with it." Hal said, feeling concerned.

Lea giggled, brushing the front curl behind her ear. "I honestly don't mind seeing and talking with him again."

"Okay, then. Let's go." Hal walked with Lea to backstage. There, they see Harry resting after doing all those performances. "Excuse me, kid."

Harry looked up and smiled gently. "Ah. Mr. Jordan. How nice to see you again."

"Again?" Lea questioned, looking at Hal. "You two know each other?"

"Yeah, I met him and his friend at the airfield." Hal answered. "I just want to say that I had my doubts about you, but after seeing your act, you're all right in my book."

"Likewise. Since we're clearing the air about doubts, I'll admit that I was unsure about you, too, Mr. Jordan," Harry admitted, being respectful and slightly ashamed. "If I seemed out of character once on our last conversation, it's because I was being protective about my friend's plane where I thought of something else going on. For that, I am sorry on jumping such a conclusion."

This news surprised the pilot. "Oh…Well, no worries. And you made my niece very happy today." Hal said. "She has something to tell you."

Lea walked forward while trying not to blush so much and find the right words. "I, um…I wanted to say…well, what I want to tell you is…" she looked around and avoided eye contact. "Ugh, why is this so hard?!"

Harry waited patiently for Lea to respond properly as much as Hal. He didn't seem irritated nor interrupt what Lea wanted to say. Something Hal noticed.

"Let me start over…" Taking a deep breath, Lea closed her eyes before looking at Harry with a straight and grateful face. "I had a wonderful time with your performance tonight and wanted to say thank you for promoting the Rabbit Café like that. You're right about the place having so much meaning to people. And I'm one of those people who would have been heartbroken to see the Rabbit Café disappear. You really made me feel special and happy out there as much as the café. So…thanks for everything, Harry."

Hal then reached out his hand. "Thanks for giving my niece a chance to be part of your show." Hal said.

Harry was stunned by what Lea said. He looked at Hal's hand before taking it to shake. "No problem at all. I am just glad that I made your niece's night. I hope you both have a wonderful rest of the evening."

After the handshake, Hal and Lea walked back into the cafe and left to go home.

Harry blushed for a bit; he did not know his actions brought happiness to someone like Lea.

Evan walked towards him while carrying the Oregano Dragon in his arms. "Harry, are you okay? You look like your body heat is rising."

"Of course, I'm okay! Tonight was a lot of hard work where I had to make sure everything went smoothly!" Harry defended quickly. "Nothing more, nothing less."

"Yeah, right." Evan said, giggling. The herb dragon giggled, too. "So, what should we name our new addition to the group?"

"I was thinking…Ganos," Harry responded, petting on the cute creature. "It's Greek for joy and he is a bundle of it."

Ganos purred from that; as if saying he likes the name. Evan and Harry both chuckled from that.

"Looks like that's a yes," Evan answered. "Glad the formula we mixed in the tea made a friendly and harmless creature, compared to what your aunt normally makes."

"Yep. And I guess I was wrong about that Hal Jordan fella, too," Harry said. "I didn't know he was that girl's uncle."

"Well, the show still was a big hit, regardless." Evan replied. "So, when do we leave back for Gotham?"

Harry closed his eyes in thought before responding to his best friend. "Actually, Evan…I think we should extend our stay here in Coast City for a few more days. If not a week."

"What? Are you sure?" Evan asked, while confused.

"Yeah, why not?" Harry added, shrugging. "We could probably do the show again sometime."

"Okay. If that's what you really want." Evan said, settling Ganos down for a bit.

"Trust me, buddy, we could use a vacation away from our dreadful home city," Harry said. "Besides, it'd be great to get away from the likes of Nightwing, or even Batgirl. Or that Marty Stu of a hero, Batman."

"You do, indeed, have a point. The dork knight's always been messing with our mentors. And it's a miracle he hasn't discovered us yet." Evan said, as he then reached for his bag taking out a scarecrow-like mask with a hat. "Besides, I bet there's a lot of suckers out here waiting to be embraced with fear."

"We did our part in helping this place," Harry stated; a sly smile on his face while bringing up his retractable staff from his hat with the crystal glowing green. "Now's the time we start to enjoy Coast City and have a little fun."

Later...

At a near rooftop, Evan and Harry looked over Coast City. They had their Gotham Grimtale costumes on yet not their masks. They were taking a moment to enjoy the sights before going anywhere. Not to mention had to drop off Ganos the Oregano Dragon at their hotel room first. It didn't take long for Harry to come up with something.

"Hey, Evan. This is going to be very nice, compared to Gotham," Harry pointed out. "Why don't we invite the rest of our friends? I bet they could use a break from home, too."

"Ya know, that's a good idea," Evan agreed. "You call Pauline, I'll text Gregory."

Nodding, Harry took out his phone to call Pauline where she did pick up in responding.

"Hello, Harry. I take it that the show was a success?" Pauline asked from her side of the line. "Especially with one of my trend-sending designs to help you be dazzling?"

"Indeed, it was," Harry answered. "The formula you, Evan, and Aunt Pam worked on had perfect results with the final act. We were able to make a living herb dragon that is named Ganos and he's now part of our family. The show even went so well, in fact, that I wanted to ask if you'd accompany us to be here in Coast City."

"Oh? I thought you two were heading back to Gotham tomorrow," Pauline noted.

"We've decided to extend our stay for a few more days and enjoy our time here…with you, if you like,"

The fashion-forward friend thought about it before responding. "…Well, I suppose I could take some inspiration there. Along with meet the new addition to see how cute he is. And I could always extend the reservations I scheduled for you two at the hotel. Can't let such a nice room go to waste."

"Thanks, Pauline. And speaking of your dazzling designs, I have a big favor to ask," Harry responded, sending something to his friend through the phone line. "Do you think, when coming to Coast City, you could make time to create this dress? All the details are there, thanks to the high-tech mirror prop used for the performance."

"Hmmm…I think I can work something out," Pauline responded, a playful smile showing while looking at the picture of the dress on her phone. "Who's the lucky lady getting it?"

"Just someone who helped me out on the final act where I'm returning the favor," Harry explained, keeping it together. "I'll explain the rest later."

Pauline chuckled. "All right, Harry. I'll be sure to arrive either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. We can meet at the same area where you did your special performance. See you and Evan soon."

After saying their goodbyes, Harry hanged up the phone and turned back to his best friend whom just finished, too.

"So, what did she say?" Evan asked.

"Pauline has not only helped extend our reservations to the hotel but will be joining us to meet at the Rabbit Café," Harry explained. "We'll be seeing her very soon in a day or two. How did it go with Greg?"

"Greg said he's coming by this weekend. He needs to get some stuff before he joins us." Evan said, as he puts on his mask.

"Excellent. In the meantime," Harry brought out a small spray bottle to apply on his hair that went from dirty blonde to ginger orange before putting his mask plus top hat on. "Let's take a look around Coast City to see if there's anything fun for us to do. Maybe look for new secrets related to my crystal staff, since this is where the crystal was found."

Both the teens chuckled into the night ready to begin their mischievous quirky antics in Coast City, as soon as their friends join them... Chaos will come.

"Get ready, Coast City. For the Gotham Grimtales are about to make an appearance that's going to be mad-tastic!"

The End?

That's the end of this story...for now. But it looks likes the Gotham Grimtales are just getting started on their arrival. What sort of mischief will they stir in Coast City? Find out next time.

Special thanks to Alvaxerox for helping me out on putting this all together. Also, some of those bad things with Lea may or may not have related to me recently. But don't worry. I'm good now. And so is Lea.

Hope you all enjoyed this story.
