Chapter 4: A smurfy celebration
Disclaimer: I do not own The Smurfs or its characters, they are owned by Peyo. I only own Hector Smurf because he's my OC. I also do not own the song and lyrics that might be featured in this chapter, some lyrics might be changed. If the song is a parody, I don't own the original song or lyrics. Anyways, enjoy.
Once the Smurfs (along with new female Smurf friends) made it to the giant gate of Smurfy Grove, SmurfLily blew into a horn-like flower, which signaled for the Smurfs inside the village to open the gate.
"Don't worry, these girls are nice, you'll love it here," said Clumsy. Once the girls spotted the new Smurfs (or at least the Smurfs that were new to them), they all seemed surprised that Clumsy brought friends.
At that moment, they immediately noticed that Hector was among those Smurfs.
"Is that really him?"
"Where was he?"
"Is he sick?"
"Is he a ghost?"
"No, I'm not a ghost, I'm very much alive," said Hector. "I can't believe that I'm finally home."
"I know how you feel, I missed this place," said Clumsy, as the girl Smurfs noticed his friends. "Everyone, these are friends from my village. This is Brainy, Smurfette, and Hefty."
"Brainy, Smurfette, and Hefty. Got it. We should do name tags," said SmurfBlossom.
"Hey, where are your boys?" said Smurfette.
"You won't find any boys here," said a voice, which revealed herself to be a female Smurf around Papa Smurf's age. "I am SmurfWillow, leader of the Smurfs."
Smurfette, Hefty, and Brainy were speechless, whereas Clumsy walked towards SmurfWillow with Hector. "Hi Willow, it's great to see you again," said Hector. "Do you remember me?"
"How can I forget about my own grandson," said SmurfWillow, followed by Hector hugging his grandmother. "Everyone, in honor of Hector's return, let's show him and his new friends some hospitality, Smurfy Grove style."
The girl Smurfs all cheered in excitement, as they prepared the celebration of Hector's return.
Five minutes into the celebration…
The celebration was going pretty good so far. There was dancing, archery, and the girl Smurfs were getting acquainted with Hefty and Brainy. Smurfette was also happy that there were more girl Smurfs besides her and her sisters.
Most importantly, Hector was getting to know his family. His mother shared some pictures of when Hector was younger, and she shared some stories about him when he was younger (which weren't as embarrassing as Hector thought).
There was even a feast, celebrating the return of Smurfy Grove's first boy (which was Hector).
"So wait, Hector accidentally set fire to the rug when he was little?" said Brainy, in shock.
"Willow said it was probably an accident, but I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose," said SmurfStorm.
"Wow, I must've been the cause of a lot of headaches," said Hector.
"Trust me, you were. I have the medical record to prove it," said SmurfStorm.
"Sounds like raising your son was a real challenge," said Smurfette. "How did you know when you were ready?"
"I just had this feeling that I was ready to raise a family, and it looks like I'm doing a good job so far," said SmurfStorm. "Besides, Willow gave me some parenting advice once Hector was born, so I guess that's what made me feel good about raising a family."
SmurfStorm then looked at her son and her husband, who were both having a sarsaparilla soda chugging contest.
"Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug!" said the girl Smurfs who were watching the chugging contest. SmurfStorm just looked at her son and husband, and smiled.
"I guess I just wanted to spend more time with Clumsy," said SmurfStorm.
SmurfWillow then walked up to SmurfStorm. "Something tells me that a family was all you needed to relax," said SmurfWillow.
"Yeah, I guess it was," said SmurfStorm. Suddenly, SmurfMelody came running to SmurfWillow.
"Willow, SmurfKilt spotted something in the forest headed towards the village," said SmurfMelody.
"Girls! Protection mode," commanded SmurfWillow, to which all the girls got ready for battle.
Once it was dark, the girl Smurfs stood guard while the others were hiding in a nearby shrub.
Suddenly, there was a rustle in the bushes in front of the village. "Hold, hold…" said SmurfWillow. Once the rustling stopped, a glowing green bunny jumped out of the bushes. "Fire!"
SmurfWillow attacked the creature who was riding on the glow bunny, who was revealed to be… Papa Smurf. "Surrender, fiend!" said SmurfWillow.
"What? Fiend," said Papa Smurf. He then noticed the female Smurfs behind SmurfWillow. "This is impossible."
"He doesn't seem so tough," said SmurfStorm.
"Yeah, that's what you get when you attack Smurfy Grove," said SmurfBlossom.
"Wait, this is a mistake," said Clumsy, as he entered the conversation. "That's Papa."
"Papa?" asked SmurfWillow.
"Papa? There's a funny word. Papa, papa, papa," said SmurfBlossom, who was somehow still full of energy.
"SmurfBlossom, no. Breathe deep and back away from the Papa thing," said SmurfWillow, as she helped Papa Smurf back onto his feet.
"Everyone, this is Papa Smurf," said Clumsy.
"Hey," said the female Smurfs.
"Hey," said Papa Smurf. He then walked towards Clumsy. "Where are the others?"
"Right here," said Brainy, as he, Hefty, and Smurfette walked up to Papa Smurf.
"Well, it's good to know you're all okay," said Papa Smurf.
"How did you find us?" asked Hefty.
"I wasn't born yesterday, you know," said Papa Smurf. Suddenly, Hector popped out of the bushes.
"Hey Papa Smurf, what are you doing here?" asked Hector, who was walking up with SmurfStorm.
"I just came to make sure you were okay, and it looks like you found Hector's village," said Papa Smurf.
"Yeah, and we discovered something that Clumsy's been hiding from us for years," said Smurfette.
"Well that's smurfy, but I think it's time we get back to our village," said Papa Smurf.
"Not so fast, Papa Smurf," said SmurfWillow. Papa Smurf then faced SmurfWillow.
"Are you the one in charge here?" asked Papa Smurf.
"That's right, I'm SmurfWillow, leader of the Smurfs," said SmurfWillow.
"I'm afraid that's quite impossible, because I happen to be the leader of the Smurfs," said Papa Smurf. "And if you'll excuse me, I need to get my Smurfs back home."
"Does that include dad? After all, he has a family in this village," said Hector, which got everyone thinking about where Clumsy should stay.
Some said that Smurf Village was his home, while others said that his family was in Smurfy Grove. Everyone started to argue about Clumsy's true home, until Clumsy spoke up.
"Well, I did have this one idea a few years ago, but I'll only say it if it's okay with Papa and Willow," said Clumsy. He then whispered the idea to Papa and SmurfWillow, to which they both agreed.
"What was your idea, Clumsy?" said SmurfStorm.
"My idea is that we combine the two villages together. That way I can stay with my family without having to go a long distance, and the other boy Smurfs can get to know the girl Smurfs," said Clumsy, which everyone else seemed to agree on.
"I like the way you think. I vote for us girls to move to Smurf Village, anyone else?" said SmurfStorm, to which the other girl Smurfs agreed.
"Then it's settled. We're moving to Smurf Village," said SmurfWillow, to which everyone cheered.
One week later…
It's been a week since the female Smurfs had moved to Smurf Village. At first, the male Smurfs were surprised by the fact that there was a girl Smurfs village, but after some explanation from Clumsy, they treated the female Smurfs as if they were part of the family.
Some of the male Smurfs treated the female Smurfs with kindness and respect, while others went for a different approach to testing their charm. All in all, the female Smurfs were very happy to be part of the boys village.
When it came to deciding where the girls would sleep, some of the boys offered to share their mushrooms, while some of the girls were given their own mushrooms. Some of the girls were even given treehouses similar to the ones in Smurfy Grove.
As for SmurfStorm and Hector, they decided to share a mushroom with Clumsy, which Clumsy was happy about. After all these years, Clumsy's family was finally completed.
Just because this chapter ends with a happy ending doesn't mean that the story is over. I've still got a few more chapters before the epic crossover I have planned. Trust me, it'll be worth the wait. See ya soon.
