"This is a stupid idea, babe."
"What? You piercing my ear with a sewing needle or you wearing that hideous shirt?" Dina playfully snarked as she sat on the lid of the toilet seat with a small yet playful smile while shooting Ellie a sleazy look.
Ellie looked down at what she was wearing before rolling her eyes as she properly sterilized the needle with isopropyl alcohol in the sink. "Last time I checked, this is your shirt, Dina."
"Oh, is it now?" She innocently commented as she took a double take at her shirt. "No wonder, it looks better on me."
"Shut it you dingus," her fiancé responded with a huff before obnoxiously straddling Dina's lap, facing her up close and personal. "At least I'm dressed like a decent human unlike you." She glanced down at Dina's somewhat scandalous attire. She wasn't wearing any pants, just her panties, and a loose tank top, so her nipples were practically poking out which looked very enticing and scrumptious.
Dina snorted as she ignored her comment, chuckling before lifting her face and smiling sweetly. "Mmh, and… what exactly are you doing?" She asked in an amused tone before looking down at their proximity.
Ellie just got more comfy as she settled in place. "Just getting comfy to get the job done."
Her reasoning only made Dina laugh further. "Is this how you treat all your customers, or are you just flirting with me?"
A small grin grew on Ellie's face this time as she cupped the back of Dina's head and pulled her forward, close to her chest. "I don't know, you tell me."
Another playful giggle left Dina's lips as she gingerly grabbed Ellie's sides and rubbed her affectionately. She sucked in a soft breath before speaking in a somewhat low and seductive voice. "I guess I'll just have to pay you extra and become your exclusive client." She casually tooted before grazing her lips across her fiancé's neck. Once she ran them down to the start of her collarbone, she chuckled into her skin before kissing her briskly.
"Hey…" Ellie half scolded as she pulled away with a slight scoff. "Watch it there, got a needle here." To emphasize how much of a threat she was, she raised the small needle in her hand.
Dina laughed at her intimidating 'weapon' before rubbing her thumb across Ellie's hip bone. "Aye mami… you do know that I'm in the perfect position to tickle you, right?"
Ellie scoffed at that. "I am not ticklish."
Her fiancé shot her a look. "Oh, yes, you are."
"No, I'm not." She insisted as her lips pressed into a thin line.
"Babe, I've explored every inch of your body." To prove her point, Dina eyed Ellie from top to bottom. "I know your body like the back of my hand."
"Do you now?" Ellie challenged back with a disbelieving face.
Dina licked her lips. "Are you doubting me?" She then slipped her hand beneath her fiancé's shirt and grazed the tip of her fingers across her lower back.
That sent a shiver down Ellie's spine before she cleared her throat. "Okay, enough talk. Hold still will ya? Are we gonna do this or not?"
Dina smirked in victory. "That's what I thought."
Ellie just rolled her eyes. "Are you sure you wanna do this Dina? It's gonna hurt."
"Psssh, oh please." Dina rolled her eyes before shooting Ellie a deadpanned look. "If I can push a tiny human out of my cooch, I'm pretty sure a little needle through my ear won't phase me."
"Your cooch…" Ellie mumbled as she glanced down between Dina's legs. She rolled her lips together before licking them and shaking her head. "Alright, fine, just don't come crying to me saying it hurts."
"Just do it already you wimp."
Scoffing in offense, Ellie tried to get up to pierce her the proper way but with how Dina wasn't letting go of her hips, she gave up and sat back down. She then rolled her eyes and shook her head before shooting her shot. "Okay, here I go." She awkwardly sanitized her earlobe before readying her needle.
"Any time now…"
If someone were to ask Ellie, it would be a lie to say she wasn't completely nervous to poke a hole through her fiancé's ear. It had been a joke at first to do something dumb together but Dina was apparently serious about it so, here they were, in their bathroom, up to no good. Fortunately, JJ was napping in the living room and their animals were, well, doing their own thing.
Her hand grew increasingly shaky the closer she got to Dina's ear. Everything was happening so fast but at one point, Ellie couldn't help but glance down at Dina's face. She had the most neutral face out there while Ellie was two seconds away from stabbing her fiancé with a needle. She breathed in through her nose before saying fuck it.
The entire time, Ellie was well aware of how much she flinched as she stabbed a hole into Dina's ear while her fiancé hardly reacted. Hardly. Her face didn't change at all the whole experience as her ear began to drip blood. Of course, it wasn't much since she wasn't spewing blood, but she was starting to understand what Dina meant when she didn't like seeing her blood.
"You okay babe?"
She just shrugged. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know, maybe cause you have a hole in your ear now?"
"You mean just one," Dina rubbed Ellie's back a few times. "C'mon, you still got my other ear to do." She then turned her head the other way so she had access to it.
Ellie just sighed before turning to grab some supplies. "Hold your horses woman, let me disinfect you first." She grabbed Dina's cheek before turning her face around. She quickly disinfected her freshly punctured ear before turning her face again with a slightly aggressive yet not harmful push.
Dina huffed. "Hey, you're supposed to treat me like a princess."
Snorting at that comment, Ellie rolled her eyes. "Princess my ass," she turned slightly to prepare for her second stab.
"Don't make me fire you…" Her fiancé lightly threatened with a smile on her face.
"I'll have you know, my client list is beefy so you won't be able to reschedule in the near future." Ellie quipped in the most serious voice she could make.
A small smile formed on Dina's face as she poked back. "Mmhmm, sure it is."
Ellie rolled her eyes with a playful smile. "Whatever," she then prepared the last needle before lining it up on Dina's earlobe. She then carefully pieced her fiancé one last time before finally letting out a hit of relief. "There. You now have two more holes in you."
Dina couldn't help but smirk in a dirty way. "As opposed to…?"
Enduring enough of her shenanigans, Ellie lightly shoved Dina's shoulder. "Just shut it and clean yourself up. I need to—"
A loud cry caught their attention.
"Ah shit— we were taking too long," Dina exclaimed as she grabbed the first aid kit. "Go tend to your son now will you?" To make it even better, she tapped Ellie's ass so she'd hurry up.
That made Ellie scoff. "Geez, I don't get paid enough for this work, piercing and babysitting now?"
Dina shook her head. "Just go check on him, will you? The dogs are started to get riled up."
"Yes ma'am!" Her fiancé gave her one last playful salute before making her way downstairs. Once she was in the living room, she looked around for the little bugger. "JJ… where'd you go!" She cooed before walking around.
Of course, he stopped crying when she went downstairs because why wouldn't he be? It wasn't particularly a surprise either but he wasn't where they had left him, on the cushion of their couch. His crawling skills evolved into climbing not too long ago so the little rascal was everywhere these days. It didn't help that he was surprisingly pretty quiet when he wasn't crying too. Ellie popped her head around the backside of the couch.
"Are you here?"
He wasn't so she walked around more.
"How about here!"
He wasn't in the creative room either. Ellie huffed before glancing down at Missy. "Have you seen my boy?"
Missy licked her lips before turning her head.
"Yeah, he's quiet like a ninja huh?"
Ellie scratched the back of her head before doing one last looksie. "Where'd the heck he go…" That's when she heard a mew. "Gauze? Gauzitooo, where'd you go? Did you kidnap my son you thieving cat!"
His soft meows were coming from the outside and Ellie cocked an eyebrow. "What the hell? Did JJ crawl through that door or something?" She reached down to grant the door handle. "JJ, you're savior has come—" She froze as her eyes snapped open. "What the fuck—"
What Ellie saw happen in the next few minutes could have totally made it into some documentary or TV soap drama at that. All the wolf pups were chasing after this… ferret? Who was running toward their chicken coup and the second it did go inside, all their chickens began clucking away in panic, flapping their wings around like crazy before Poncho dived into their door, barking away and adding to the madness.
Meanwhile, the little crier, Gauze, had somehow climbed up the wooden support beam to their house and was stuck at the top. As for her beloved baby JJ, he was standing on his little toes trying to presumably reach for their kitty. Obviously, he was a mile away since Ellie couldn't even reach him without climbing, but what made shit even more crazy was when sweet baby Estelle, who rarely barks in the first place, started growling and barking at something, and that something being a truck pulling up at their front gates.
At this point, Poncho had successfully caught the ferret, dragging it out of the coup, and holding that now dead ferret in his jaw as he came running over like he was parading his victory. His brother, Buddy, on the other hand, was now rushing toward the front gate, barking at their so-called introducers, which finally dragged momma Missy out the door. She ran in front of Ellie and JJ instinctively to protect them, looking very aggressive, like the first time Ellie ran into her in the forest.
Whoever was in that truck finally came out of the car. "What the hell is going on?"
Ah yes, the tone of Joel's voice did not help the situation since the wolves started pouncing at the door. Talia finally came out of the car holding a bag of probably bomb-ass food so it was a good thing she locked it when she came back this morning otherwise Dina would kill her if one of their wolves attacked them.
Ellie finally groaned before quickly moving into action. "Shit." She quickly picked JJ off the ground before cradling him on her chest. She then covered his ears before shouting in their direction. "Just give me one second!"
The wolves weren't happy and were still barking at the two, looking all savage and dangerous.
"Dammit!" Ellie quickly ran inside their house and plopped JJ back down onto his cushion. "Be good and wait right here for Mama, okay?" She then gave him a quick kiss on the forehead before rushing back out the door.
"Ellie…" Joel's voice repeated in a scolding tone type of way. "I thought you said you got dogs, not wolves."
She flinched. "Shit." With a groan, she climbed the railing to grab Gauze off the beam. "C'mere buddy…" She scrambled to get the frightened fella off the beam before getting scratched on the cheek. "Ow! Gauze, you little shit!" She groaned in frustration again before hopping down and rushing toward the front gate.
"Damn, that's one… big 'dog.'" She heard Talia mumble with that clearly judging and worried tone.
"Before you two get started," Ellie began short-breathed as their kitten climbed all over her chest. "They are very well-behaved. They're just not used to company, that's all." That's when she heard their sheep baa-ing very loudly for some reason. "Urgh… what now?!"
"Ellie? What the heck is going on? I asked you to check up on JJ, so what's—" She heard Dina say before abruptly stopping. "Oh shit—" She didn't need to see her fiancé to know that she pivoted back inside to change into something more… welcoming. That and, well, her freshly pierced ears.
"Buddy, knock it off! Estelle, stop growling at them. You too Missy, tell your kids to stop and uh…" She looked at Poncho who looked like he was enjoying a snack. Her face scrunched in disgust before she ignored him. Now that she was by the door, she managed to stop their wolves from growling by shoving them away. "All of you, quiet down! Go back to your rooms right now, children!" She shooed them away with a firmer voice before they finally huffed in a disappointed woof.
As the wolves made their way back, Ellie looked at their visitors. "Sorry about that…" She let them inside before snapping her head at the barn. "Todd! You better not be trying to shag up your sister again!" She then handed off Gauze to Joel before running toward the barn. "Watch him for a second!"
"Wait, what—" Joel awkwardly held the small kitten before looking at his daughter in disbelief. "Ellie, what am I supposed to do with— Ellie!"
She was gone before he could get out another word. Joel and Talia made eye contact before perking up when they heard Dina's voice.
"Joel, Talia! What brings you here? I thought you weren't coming for another week?" She questioned as she quickly walked outside with JJ in her arms. She had put on a denim shirt and some shorts but the one thing she missed was the ghetto safety pins in her ears to keep the new holes in her ears open.
Of course, that was the first thing Talia noticed once Dina was within her line of sight. "Dina! What did you do to your ears? Did you pierce them?" She then handed the food bag to Joel before meeting up with her sister halfway. "Why didn't you come to town for that! What if they get infected? Did Ellie do that for you?"
Dina flinched before stopping in place and turning away to avoid eye contact. "Uh…" She spotted Ellie in the distance chasing after one of their sheep." Her face flattened in confusion when she heard her screaming at him.
"Dammit, Todd! Don't make me put you in detention!"
"Uh…" Dina turned back around when Talia grabbed her face to take a good look at her ear.
"Oh my god! Dee! Did you just pierce them? They're bleeding. What if they get infected? Why'd you come outside?" She then turned her sister around and started pushing her toward the house. "Come on, we have to clean them. What if they heal all messed up and you get a bad scar? You should've told me that you wanted your ears pierced, I would've found a professional for you!"
Dina groaned before wincing when JJ started whining. She was confused as shit and Ellie looked more frantic than her. What the hell happened in the two minutes she was gone? She'd get the details from Ellie later but for now, she was bracing herself for the scolding to come.
Joel stood there, flabbergasted at the turn of events. Tommy and Maria gave him a good amount of meat so he seasoned and smoked it up. It tasted great if he said so himself so he wanted to give Ellie and Dina some. Talia happened to make a big batch of pickled cucumbers and veggies too so the two of them wanted to swing by and when they did, so many things happened at once. The kitten on his hand finally swatted his face, reminding him that he wasn't dreaming.
"What in bloody hell is going on?" He looked at Ellie one last time before sighing and giving up. She was still thrashing around on the field and he shook his head before grumbling. "I'll never get this kid." He then took a step forward, following after the sisters with a food bag and kitten in hand.
By the time night rolled around, Ellie face-planted onto their bed before groaning out loud. "Urgh… I'm so fucking tired…"
Dina looked no better. "You're telling me." She cracked her neck before letting out a deep sigh. "At least you didn't get your ears chewed off."
Ellie snorted before turning around to face her. "You look ridiculous."
Her fiancé took a seat before shooting her a look. Talia had graciously cleaned and treated her ears, so they were nicely bandaged up. A little too nice for her taste. "Oh shut it." She then climbed over a little closer before leaning in toward Ellie's face. "Wait, how the hell did I not notice this?"
"Mmh? Notice what?"
Dina reached down and gently cupped her face. "This, you didn't tell me Gauze scratched you."
Speaking of the devil, Gauze came running across the floor before hiding beneath their bed.
Ellie just shrugged before sinking into the bed deeper. "The scratchy bastard got stuck on the beam. Don't know how he got there but we should start trimming his nails. They sting more than they should."
"One sec," Dina got up before coming back with the first aid kit. When Ellie didn't move, she patted the bed. "C'mere."
She groaned again. "But babe…"
"Hey, I don't want it scaring that cute face of yours." She popped open the first aid kit before preparing the swab. "C'mon, it'll only take like two seconds."
"Okay okay…" Ellie huffed before groaning and flipping around. Once she was seated, she crawled over into Dina's space before behaving like a tame zombie.
"Geez, what happens when I leave you alone for two minutes huh? All hell breaks loose and we're two seconds away from getting our animals massacred." She joked before gently dabbing the small yet long cut on her cheek.
Ellie smiled sweetly at Dina's focused face. "The one that got massacred was that ferret."
Dina winced at that. "Don't remind me, you're not the one who had to clean up tail bits from his teeth." She dabbed Ellie's face a few more times before setting down the cue tip. "Okay there, done." She then grabbed a band-aid and taped up her face before shutting the first aid kit.
"Thanks."
"Mm-hmm," when she met Ellie's eyes, leaned in for a kiss. "Okay, let's go to bed. JJ's knocked out and I'm about to keel over myself."
"Ugh, agreed." Ellie immediately dropped back down on the bed before rolling over.
Dina came back in no time, and after she shut off the lights, she crawled into their bed before sighing and wrapping her arm around Ellie's waist, snuggling into her side. "God, today was…"
Ellie turned to face her before smiling and finishing her sentence. "Absolute fucking chaos?"
That made her fiancé chuckle. "Yeah, absolute fucking chaos."
