Law enforcement is not anything to be reckoned with.

Shun was a big fan of crime shows and very proud that his brother Ikki is a cop. His dream was to become a crime investigator one day. However, Ikki kept him at a distance and rarely talked to him about criminal investigation – for the right reason.

Television shows and films really sugarcoat the law enforcement process like fairy tales where everything happens in the right place at the right time. In Shun's mind, justice can be achieved with one phone call to a lawyer or a righteous cop within a day. In reality, things like that could take months or even years.

Thus, it was beyond amazing that Hyoga could get himself out of jail in such a short time after his arrest.

Either he was really that smart or that he had some secretive connection.

Watching him playing the piano, Saori's imagination went wild. To her, Hyoga was a young 007 James Bond groomed by a KGB officer.

In reality, however, that was far from the truth. Hyoga wasn't that smart nor did he have much connection.

He was just lucky as he always has been in life.

After the death of their mother, Hyoga was taken in by a French man who raised him in Siberia. Unlike Alman Kido, who was all smiling and lived a luxurious life, Hyoga's adoptive father preferred a simple lifestyle and rarely smiled. By first glance, he seemed cold and unloving. However, nobody in Siberia would ever dare to touch a hair on Hyoga's head because of him. Once, Hyoga got into a fight with several kids and came home with cuts and bruises. His adoptive father didn't ask him what happened nor provided him any care. Yet, a few days later, when Hyoga encountered these kids again, they silently backed away with fear. Whoever his adoptive father was, it was obvious that he wasn't anyone to mess up with in Siberia.

Growing up, Hyoga never forgot his long lost sister. On the day when Hyoga turned eighteen, his adoptive father asked him what he wanted for his birthday. Hyoga replied that he wants to be reunited with his sister. While his adoptive father didn't approve, he did give Hyoga access to his bank account. Using his adoptive father's money and resources, Hyoga was able to find Alman Kido and eventually, Saori.

After his fight with Cassius, Hyoga was taken to jail. He had not spoken a single word while locked up; Cassisus, on the other hand, shouted endlessly about what had happened.

Ikki, Shun's brother, happened to be there that day.

He knew Saori's story through his undercover work with the FBI in Madame Guraad's drug ring business investigation. Acting as Madame Guraad's right hand man "Nero", he witnessed how Madame Guraad had Cassius stalking and harassing Saori. Being a protective older brother himself, he naturally sympathized with Hyoga.

So it was because of Ikki's influence that Hyoga was released.

Saori and Hyoga, two siblings, one was plagued with misfortunes and the other was the total opposite.

After finishing playing " The Spanish Dance ", everyone applauded except for Seiya. Raising his eyes, Hyoga stood abruptly upon seeing Saori. He quickly went to her and held her tightly in his arms.

It was a very long embrace.

Everyone was taken aback by his actions, at least somewhat.

Finally, Hyoga released Saori. "Did my absence frighten you?"

Seiya stepped up to him. "It's a shame that your absence isn't permanent."

"You," Hyoga's icy blue eyes stared directly into Seiya's dark ones. "You try to come between me and my sister."

The two were about to eat each other's throat.

"All right stop! Both of you!" Saori didn't like what she was seeing. "This is not a place to fight. And haven't you forgotten? We have guests!"

"Actually we are on our way out," Aiolia said with Lyfia nodding. "Nice to meet you Hyoga."

"No stay!" Saori said sternly. "Nobody leaves!"

Aiolus, Aiolia, and Lyfia stood where they were.

Saori turned to Hyoga and Seiya. "I love both of you. It's hard for me to watch the two people I love fighting each other! You made me feel like Relena Peacecraft in Gundam Wing episode 50!"

"What's Gundam Wing ?" Hyoga asked, confused.

"There is no episode 50 in Gundam Wing ," Seiya corrected her. "There's only 49."

"Well, you know what I mean!" Saori went on. "I want all of us to get along! I don't want to lose either one of you." She then said to Hyoga. "I do want to stay here. I grew up here and my life is here. But it doesn't have to mean that we can't stay in touch or see each other again. The day that I met you…I was very happy to know that I have a brother, a family."

"As your brother, it's my duty to protect you," Hyoga said. "Mama made a mistake with Alman Kido. I don't want that to happen to you."

"But I will not make the same mistake she made," Saori assured him. "I can take care of myself."

Hyoga looked at Seiya again. "You love my sister?"

"I do," Seiya replied without a hesitation.

"You know how to fight?"

"More than you ever could."

"Then I challenge you to a match," Hyoga said. "If I win, you stay away from my sister."

"But what if I win?"

"I accept you as a brother."

"Then you're on!"

"No!" Saori didn't agree. "I don't want you to–"

"Actually, I think this is a wonderful idea," Tatsumi said.

"What?" Saori was in disbelief.

"I agree," Aiolus said. "Sometimes the best friendship starts with a fight."

"It's a guy thing," Aiolia added.

"What if someone gets hurt?" Saori asked.

"That's where I come in," Tatsumi said. "I will be the referee. I will determine who wins or loses and I will make sure that they don't end up killing each other."

Together, they went outside where Hyoga and Seiya would have their match.

"You are one lucky girl," Lyfia said to Saori. "You have two guys who love you."

Aiolus and Aiolia nodded in agreement.

Facing each other, dark haired Seiya in red and blond Hyoga in blue were ready to start their match.

Six months later…

Saori was back to Aiolus' law firm, again. This time, in a conference room, she was working with Milo and Shura with Seiya and Dohko by her side.

Dohko was totally shocked to learn that Alman Kido had left his huge mansion to him. He did not agree with Alman Kido's decision and was more than willing to give the house back to Saori.

It was a nice, decent conversation and simple process.

Quietly, Saori thought about what she would do with the mansion. She wanted to turn it into a physical therapy and recovery center with counseling service for ex-athletes. If that went well, she could expand the service to martial arts training.

Either way it would be something that she and Seiya would do together.

The match between Hyoga and Seiya ended up in a draw. After the match, Hyoga decided to return to Siberia. However, he promised Saori that he will be back for a new match with Seiya.

And that he will defeat him.

Overall, it didn't end too badly.

Exiting the conference room, she saw Aiolus, Aiolia, and another of their legal associates, Mu. Aiolia and Lyfia had a small, beautiful wedding at the Kido's mansion. A couple of days ago Aiolus told Saori that they are having a little boy. Lyfia was naming her unborn son Regulus, after reading the novel The Spartan Queen. Saori was more than happy to hear that.

Clearing her throat, she announced, "I like to say that it has been a pleasure knowing and working with all of you."She spoke while eyeing all the attorneys – Aiolus, Aiolia, Mu, Shura, and Milos. "I know I have been a pain in the butt but hopefully I don't have to come back here anytime soon. Life is good as it sucks, but in the end, I'll live. At the bottom of the Pandora's Box, there's hope. Moving forward, I will take care of things myself instead of calling Aiolus."

"Good job!" Aiolia gave her a big thumb up.

Saori slipped her hand into Seiya's. Feeling the warmth from his hand, she thought about her next novel.

A new idea came to her mind.

The main character was going to be a young man named Pegasus. The plot would be focused on his journey from being an unknown soldier to Queen Helen of Sparta's most capable general. Unlike her previous novel, this one would appeal to all demographics; not just female readers. She hoped that this novel would be a bestseller as well, and one of the fans would be actor Mackenyu.

Mackenyu : Miss Saori, I am a huge fan of your new book. Do you see any possibility of a live action adaptation in the near future?

Saori : I don't. Sometimes things don't work well that way.

Mackenyu : If you don't mind me asking, is Pegasus based on a real person? Anyone you know?

Saori : You can say that.

Mackenyu : What would he say if I were to play him one day?

Saori : It would be a great honor.

At the end of her response, the theme Pegasus Forever began to play…

Her phone was ringing and her imagination was interrupted.

It was Tatsumi.

"Is everything alright?" Saori asked him, putting him on speaker phone.

"We have a visitor," Tatsumi replied nervously. "He said that his name is Camus, Hyoga's father."

"What does he want?"

"He said that you unfairly and cruelly abandoned his son after he had spent so much money to find you. He is suing you for 3 million rubles."

"What?" Saori couldn't believe her ears.

"Relax princess, that's only about $33,000," Seiya said with a straight face, using his phone to calculate the value in US currency.

"And there's more. He said that next time when you see Hyoga, please be nicer to him."

Saori hung up and asked the attorneys meekly, "Shall we make another appointment?"

The End

Trivia:

The fic is inspired by the live action adaptation "The Knights of the Zodiac".

All Gold Saints are featured or mentioned in the fic. (Sagittarius) Aiolus is the law firm senior partner; (Aries) Mu showed up in the last chapter; (Leo) Aiolia, (Scorpion) Milos and (Capricorn) Shura were Aiolus' associates; (Virgo) Shaka was Madame Guraad's lawyer; (Gemini) Saga was Aiolia's client; (Taurus) Aldebaran was a former associate of Aiolus and worked as a plumber and repairman; (Libra) Dohko was a restaurant owner; and (Acqurius) Camus was Hyoga's adoptive father.

Milos was assigned as Saori's attorney by Aiolus. In the Sanctuary Arc, Milos was guarding Saori in early episodes.

When Saori asked Milos had he ever killed anyone by pointing finger, Milos said no. This is actually true in "Saint Seiya" because Milos always gave his opponent a chance to surrender rather than killing them.

Shun said that Princess Victoria of Sweden married her bodyguard. In real life, Princess Victoria's husband was a personal trainer.

Shaina was supposed to have a bigger role as Cassius' sister. The scene where Cassius was fighting with Hyoga at one point was planned as a fight among Saori, Hyoga, Shaina, Seiya, and Cassius with Seiya and Hyoga work things out in a prison cell. That got scrapped because it was too complex.

Saori's endless bad luck is a parody of her constant kidnapping in the anime series. It always give the Saints something to do.

Both Alman Kido and Camus were terrible parents. Alman Kido was a neglectful father and Camus was spoiling Hyoga. Their poor parenting emotionally screwed Hyoga and Saori.

In the last chapter, Hyoga and Seiya were having a match. In the anime series, Hyoga and Seiya never fought each other, despite Hyoga's vow to defeat Seiya in his first appearance.

Mackenyu appeared in the fic and was mentioned as Seiya's favorite actor. Mackenyu played Seiya in the film "The Knight of the Zodiac."
